My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in July 2023, and we had the absolute best experience! Not only is this venue gorgeous and really fun, but the entire process with their team, from early planning through post-wedding, was seamless and well managed. Jackie, Marta, Madysen, and the entire staff at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres were phenomenal to work with and really went the extra mile the make sure our wedding was a success. The wedding day ran smoothly, communication was great, the ceremony and reception spaces were spectacular, food was delicious, and service was excellent. We received several compliments from our guests about the venue and staff. Our wedding was magical, and we’re so appreciative of the work this venue did to make that happen.When we were selecting our venue, we loved everything about Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ wedding reception package. It is so comprehensive, fairly priced, and made the planning process quite a bit easier for us. Jackie, the Wedding & Events Manager, is amazing and is one of the many reasons we selected Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. She was so helpful throughout this entire process. We were also incredibly pleased with the team and vendors that came with the package, such as Corey our DJ, Tim from Minnesota Wedding Party, Buttercream Bakery, and the banquet staff. The ability to play music videos during the dancing portion of the evening was awesome. We added on the Mirror Photo Booth through Minnesota Wedding Party, and it was a huge hit! The photo booth was staffed by Mel, who was so fun and great with our guests. It was a really cool addition that we would highly recommend to others.

Our Christmas wedding was at CDT and it was absolutely magical. The entire planning process was just a joy. Jackie and Marta are some of the kindest people we have ever met and they were so responsive and helpful! We also appreciated that the quoted price (which was VERY reasonable) included the venue, DJ, meals, beer/wine, and cupcakes (with a cutting cake for the bride and groom) for up to 100 guests, so there were no surprises! The food was absolutely incredible and multiple guests told us the steak is the best they'd ever had. Mary was so lovely to work with on both the food tasting and the rehearsal dinner (which we highly recommend hosting at CDT). Stephanie and her team offered exceptional dinner service as well! Finally, the DJ, Tim, was amazing! My husband is a music fanatic and an amateur DJ, and he can be a TOUGH critic! We both just loved working with Tim! He is passionate about his job and it shows! He kept a large group of people on the dance floor all night until the bitter end. Trust me here, give yourself the wedding of your dreams and book at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres!

Everything looked and went perfect! It was a beautiful venue! Jackie, Marta and Nancy were so easy to work with to make sure things went smoothly. We got married at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters on August 12, 2023. It was so perfect! The Banquet staff, wedding coordinators, food, bartenders, DJ were all amazing! The Dinner Theater has so much character and such a fun vibe all around.Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and what a great time they all had! Thank you for making our wedding so very special! We will always have great memories of our day!

My spouse and I had our wedding/ reception/dinner at Chanhassen. The Venue, staff, food exceeded our expectations 1000 fold. The staff were not only professional and friendly to everyone, but the food was absolutely amazing. The feedback we received from our guests was this was the most amazing and well done experience they've had. From an affordability aspect - perfect within our budget and nothing was missed, from the ceremony area, to the reception area and the dinner/dancing are - all were a true exceed our expectations. It was truly a magical day/night and will be a wonderful memory/experience for years not just us, but our guests as well. On comment from a guest and their fiancée \"you've raised the bar\" to any future weddings. Both my spouse and I have only huge kudos to the venue and staff - excellent!!! As a side note, our officiant is a Hollywood actor, and one of the guests is a writer (on the New York best selling list Mutiple times - and they both agreed with how fantastic everything was. - Thank you for an awesome and amazing time (Andrew and Eric)

We are so incredibly happy that we had our wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! We are avid theatregoers and have had many great experiences at the Chanhassen for their musicals, so it was a perfect fit for us! We could easily write an entire essay about how perfect the Chanhassen was for our wedding, but we’ll try our best to keep it brief!The Chanhassen offers a wedding package that is high quality at an affordable price. Beginning with the venue itself, we had our ceremony and dancing in the Club Theatre, cocktail hour in the Garden Room, and dinner in the Banquet Room. The Club Theatre offers a beautiful and unique space for the ceremony, which then later becomes the perfect space for dancing. The Garden Room and the Banquet Room are cozy and intimate spaces for cocktails and dinner. Speaking of dinner, there were numerous options for entrées and they did a great job of customizing the meals to be exactly what we wanted. The dinners were fantastic, we loved our meals and our guests did too! The package includes a good amount of alcohol too – you of course can always add on more if you’d like. The Chanhassen has a partnership with Buttercream Cakes & Desserts, who provided a cutting cake and a cupcake tower. The cutting cake was absolutely delicious and all our guests loved the cupcakes!Throughout every step of the process, we worked with the Chanhassen’s wedding coordinator, Jackie Lovsness. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jackie and we are so happy that she was our coordinator! Jackie is so friendly, so sweet, and truly cared for us as a couple. There was so much planning and so many little details to keep on top of - she made sure it was all done perfectly! On our wedding day, she was super attentive, made sure everything went smoothly, and just overall did anything and everything she could to make the day as perfect as possible. Our DJ was also part of the Chanhassen’s package. We worked with both DJ Tim, prior to the wedding, and DJ Corey, on our wedding day. Both were an absolute pleasure to work with! We met with DJ Tim to begin planning everything related to the music and speeches. DJ Tim is a fountain of knowledge, incredibly responsive to questions, and just a super fun and funny guy! On our wedding day, we worked with DJ Corey. He is incredibly nice, very fun, and great at what he does. He acts not only as a DJ but also as a second coordinator which was so valuable! His songs were great, a wide mix of music that had us all entertained the whole night! He made sure to play our own song requests as well as various requests from our guests. Also he does a very cool thing where music/concert videos play alongside the music on a large screen. It’s super unique and all our guests loved it! We also added on a mirror photo booth through DJ Tim and DJ Corey, which was super cool and unique!Overall, I can’t recommend enough that you have your wedding through the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! The value is great, the space was perfect, the food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, Jackie is an amazing wedding coordinator, and DJ Tim and DJ Corey are wonderful. Every other person that worked our wedding was great as well! We have received so many compliments from family and friends on how amazing the Chanhassen was as a venue for our wedding and how everything was simply fantastic! Thank you again to everyone at the Chanhassen who played a part in hosting a perfect wedding for us! We wish we could relive it!

The only extra vendors we had to find were a photographer and florist. On top of convenience everything was beautiful and we always had our questions answered promptly making the whole planning process so easy.

The venue is amazing! Very LGBTQ+ friendly!! Tim the DJ was a lifesaver and was making sure we were taken care of. The music he played was top notch and turned the whole place into a nightclub with music videos playing! He even took us in a special room to “just be married for 5 minutes” and enjoy being wives before greeting everyone. The wait staff was out of this world! They made sure that if we needed anything, we would get it right away. My dress had a small issue and they helped me fix it. It was rather hot during the reception with everyone moving around, so make sure that you don’t have a hot dress like I did. I had to keep leaving the dance floor to cool down and even requested a fan to be placed in the dance room. They did turn up the air but it didn’t help too much, but I think it’s just an old building so they were doing the best they could. But it all worked out because I was able to chat with people more in the hallways and the balcony than I would have if I had been on the dance floor all night. Overall a great venue with amazing staff that truly make it a night to remember. We plan on going back for our anniversaries to enjoy dinner and a show!

We picked Chanhassen because we wanted all-inclusive and me being a theatre kid was an added bonus! It's easier to tell you what wasn't provided, and that was florist, photographer, and videographer. They had everything else!! We skipped a florist and made our own centerpieces, but Chanhassen still offered votives as well! We were very happy that they provided a bundle with a local golf course (Bluff Creek) and we had our ceremony there. It was an added fee, but well worth it to get some outdoor pictures and see those fall colors! They set up and tore down everything but the centerpieces we provided, which was fantastic. They also, when we forgot a few pieces of decor, messaged us and let us pick them up a few days later. A note on the outdoor space, make sure to scope it out beforehand! We ended up hiding at the bottom of a hill because I never asked where a good place to hide would be lol But it worked out great regardless! Our venue coordinator showed up and her and the DJ helped the ceremony along flawlessly.Speaking of the venue coordinator, Jackie was great! We originally booked with a different coordinator, but she quit soon after booking us. And the next coordinator also quit before our day. That part was a bit stressful, but Jackie looked over all of their notes and was willing to have a few virtual meetings with us before our final in-person meeting to make sure we were on track! She was quick to respond to messages too.As someone noted, the cocktail hour area was a bit small. We had 150 guests and it was a little cramped! We'd only seen the space fully opened, so we were surprised to see it closed up for that space of time. Luckily, we were a close knit group, so it wasn't the end of the world, and the appetizers (antipasto platters and BBQ pulled pork sliders) were fantastic to make up for it! Once those walls opened up, we all sat down and had an amazing dinner! Chicken Chanhassen was the meal of choice, but I loved the haddock and our vegetarian guests raved about the lasagna! We had our tasting with 6 full dishes, which was amazing, but unfortunately had not tried the lasagna, so we were very happy that it was a hit! We were also told the kids meals were happily devoured and they had enough high chairs and booster seats for all of the toddlers! The bakery, Buttercream Bakery, was absolutely great to work with. The cake was delicious! They do offer gluten-free options (we were able to get 1 gluten-free cupcake along with our 4 tier cake), but little else. Chanhassen, thankfully, worked with us and allowed us to pay extra for dessert from their own menu so we could give a treat to our guests with dairy and nut allergies! Also, I do not know if this has changed, but our package included 2 kegs! After that it was cash bar unless you hosted, but it was a great thing to have! We underestimated our wine drinkers and overestimated our beer drinkers, so we ran out of hosted wine before we got through one keg, but still worth it!Next was dancing. I LOVED that we got to do the first dance and parent dances on stage! I also loved that they played music videos while the songs played. The DJ started with older hits to get everyone on the floor before getting into our more obscure song requests (including some Japanese songs), but the vibe was still there! It was a bit loud, but that's on us for not asking him to lower the volume. Popcorn bar was also a hit.Despite a few hiccups, I would recommend the venue 100 times over!

Having our wedding at CDT was the best choice we made through the planning process! We loved that CDT is an all-inclusive venue, set up/tear down, food, cake, security, DJ, bartender, some alcohol, coat check, linens, silverware, cups/plates, chairs, tables were all included in the very budget friendly price point, even tip and tax is included! We had a wedding coordinator to hold our hand through the whole process, let us know what we needed to do when and helped us plan and execute our dream wedding. You can not beat the food either, big portions, you get to choose three options for your guests (make sure one is the Chicken Chanhassen), bread and salad are included as well. The whole process could not have been easier, and truly CDT made all of our dreams come to life!

I just can’t be thankful enough to have found this place for our wedding. The place is soooo beautiful and dreamy. We had initially signed the contract with a different event planner who left midway which did get us a bit worried and then we were introduced to Jackie who I can’t thank enough. She was so kind, supportive and helpful throughout the process. Jackie made my dream wedding come to reality. I am very thankful to the staff who were so polite and cordial with guests on the wedding day. Thank you CDT for making a big day so special and memorable.

The Venue is fabulous! It is a beautiful place to have a wedding. We would have given a 5 star rating, but we ran into a few snags with the constant changing of the coordinators, however, the venue did work with us to make sure we had a beautiful wedding. We give the servers 5 stars, they really did an amazing job, they were so organized and friendly, we can't thank them enough! We love the idea that you can have a wedding and it is almost all inclusive, makes it a lot easier for planning purposes. All in all, we are happy with the venue.

The CDT staff was professional and welcoming , and the venue itself is unique and fun, however the room used for the social hour was too small, hot, and confining. We asked for more tables (very few were available for people to use) and despite being told they would put more out, they never did. The food was very good but came much slower than ideal to keep the flow going. The theater room for the dance was a fun space but the DJ was not easy to work with. He never played music that was requested by the bride and groom (prior to the wedding) and played many, many songs that they specifically asked him NOT to play. There was no transition from quieter, older generation music- just straight to “club” music which was fun but too much at times. No slower songs ever! But the fact the bride and groom asked him multiple times to do certain things and he didn’t was very frustrating and disappointing!

Daniel will take excellent care of you. We had a year and a half for planning and bringing all of the details of the big day to fruition, and Daniel made sure to provide the answers we needed to get it all figured out. He is such a great resource and incredibly experienced, and really put us at ease leading up to the big day, going through our walkthroughs, and of course during the wedding. We knew immediately that we could trust him with one of the most memorable days of our lives. The venue itself is beautiful. We elected to use the Club Theatre with our small guest count, which really wowed our family and friends. Their packages to select from are thoroughly laid out, and Daniel was great help with explaining what our wedding size and day-of events would realistically need. Not only was Daniel outstanding in his position and the Dinner Theatre fabulous to experience, but he went above and beyond during our day. The level of compassion he had for us during an unexpected turn and fortitude to help the night move along smoothly was so incredibly appeciated -- along with Chris and the other amazing waitstaff that helped keep everything together and flawless. I am so glad we chose the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. Our needs were entirely catered to.

My wife and I want to sing the praises of Chanhassen Dinner Theatres for being an awesome wedding venue. We had our ceremony, dinner, and dance here and enjoyed every minute of our day. Some huge positives for us: This is an incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly venue. We were always treated with respect and dignity, which was highly important for us when we were booking a venue. Additionally, everyone involved in planning was deeply knowledgeable and gave great advice, from food quantities to which package we needed to scheduling. Our ceremony space (Club Theatre) worked well for in-person guests and for live-streaming (through our videographer). We worked with two amazing wedding coordinators there, Robyn and Daniel (who took over from Robyn this past fall). CDT worked with us to make sure the transition was smooth and that our plans were not disrupted. Daniel is an absolute gem and superhero. He helped with some last minute changes and was a lifesaver when we had complications with our officiant. Daniel also constantly checked in with us during the day and made sure everything was running smoothly so we could focus on ourselves and our guests. The food was absolutely delicious. Our meals were divine (Oven-Roasted Salmon, Chicken Chanhassen, and Vegetarian Lasagna) and our vegan guests even commented that it was some of the best vegan options they’ve ever had at an event. They worked with us closely with all diet restrictions and everything was fantastic. The cake (through Buttercream Bakery) was marvelous. If you book CDT, we definitely recommend working with their recommended/provided DJ. Tim from Minnesota Wedding Party was incredible and knows the venue inside and out. He showed our photographer some hidden places to take bridal photos and was just plain an awesome DJ. I can’t imagine our night without Tim. Some things to keep in mind if you are considering CDT: It is a fully-operational dinner theatre, so, more than likely, there will be a show on your wedding day. If you are in the Ballroom, you are right underneath the main stage, so they will ask you not to get too rowdy during dinner. However, you can be super noisy and rowdy during your dance, once you move to your dance area. We had our dance in the Club Theatre, which worked really well for our guests. Also, if you have any guests that use wheelchairs or have mobility concerns, know that ramps lead to the Club Theatre and Ballroom spaces, but not the Dance Loft. The ramps are a bit steep, so they can be a bit challenging to roll back up, depending on the person. The staff at CDT was super accommodating for us, and helped us find a solution for helping a guest back up to the main level. The bathrooms in the Ballroom could also be wider, as it was challenging for one of our wheelchair-using guests to navigate the bathroom. With all that said, we would, without a doubt, recommend Chanhassen Dinner Theatres to anyone for their wedding (or other event). We felt cared about and respected and our day felt truly magical there. We can’t wait to keep supporting them through their live theatre and shows and to be transported back to our beautiful wedding day every chance that we get.

We had a wonderful time using Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT)! The venue was beautiful, the food delicious, and the wedding manager Robyn did an amazing job making sure it went so well! Our wedding date was affected by covid and CDT was very easy to work with moving our date out and was very accommodating. Robyn was great at answering our questions, helping us understand what was needed from our end, and executing on the day of the wedding. She was very easy to work with and very knowledgable. Her communication was great and we really enjoyed working with her! The venue's food was also amazing,! Lots of the time wedding food can be very mediocre, but not the case here, CDT's food was delicious! Their staff was great and helpful\u0010. We also felt the price was very reasonable and included a lot for budget minded folks like us. I would highly recommend CDT to anyone looking for an excellent wedding venue with great people!

Gosh, there are just so many kind and wonderful things to say about Robyn and the Chanhassen Dinner Theater but I'll do my best to make it short(ish)! My husband and I LOVE going to the dinner theater for our birthdays and when we found out that they did weddings, the decision had already been made. It was the only venue we needed to see (and I didn't even need to see it to know it was the one)! We decided to do everything inside as it was all in one place. Getting married on the Club Theater stage was everything this Broadway Musical themed wedding needed and more! Their all inclusive packages took a lot of the weight off of our shoulders so that we could just enjoy our time being engaged and focus on our decorations! The food was scrumptious and the chef accommodated all the weird allergies that my friends and family had. Robyn made everything so easy and was super invested in our planning process, making sure that everything was done exactly how we envisioned it! Because of Covid, we had to postpone our large celebration and she was so understanding and incredibly flexible. We loved her from the very first time we met her and knew we would really enjoy working with her. She answered my millions of questions almost as soon as I would send them and was so enthusiastic about our day. You could tell that she really loved her job and even more so enjoyed taking the time to get to know the couples! When we were there setting up, she was always available for questions or assistance which made it go fast and smooth! I can't express enough how thankful we were for Robyn, for making our day so beyond special!

Robyn made my day seamless! She even helped my bridesmaids with my bustle which was no easy feat. My special day popped off without a hitch and she knew exactly what she was doing and worked with my other vendors without me even having to say anything! It was such a relief because dealing with the wedding party was like keeping kittens in a box haha but she did it and she did it well!!! The venue space was so gorgeous that we didn't even need to decorate. Buttercream bakery made a delicious tiered cake for us and our wedding singer was so much fun!!! Chanhassen Dinner Theater's wedding package was everything we had hoped for and more!!!

It’s not just that their wedding package is an AMAZING deal (trust me, it’s unreal) it’s that the staff do an excellent job and you can tell they love why they do. Our coordinator, Robyn, stopped at nothing to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect. We could not have asked for a better experience.

The Chanhassen Dinner Theater made the wedding planning process so easy. We did their all inclusive package and being a COVID bride it made it easy to not have to communicate with a bunch of vendors but just one place. Robyn and her assistant were wonderful leading up to the day and the day of the wedding. Our guests loved the food, the atmosphere, and the music videos that played during the dance. I would suggest to anyone getting married to check out Chanhassen Dinner Theater as their wedding venue!

We had our wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater on 10/29/21. It was an amazing experience and I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Robyn is the event coordinator at the CDT and she is wonderful to work with and made the entire planning process so smooth and easy. She was very attentive and responsive with any questions I had throughout my entire engagement and really eased my nerves. I tend to be a worrier but she assured me that everything would go without a hitch and it did. She was also very attentive throughout the big day and made sure my husband and I always were satisfied and had anything we needed. The all-inclusive wedding package is the way to go- it wraps up so many details/ vendors into one contract, making the wedding planning WAY more simplified and easy. You also get the liberty of having access to the venue days prior to the wedding and can decorate it to your liking, which was just what we wanted so we could add all of our own personal decorative details for our Halloween-themed wedding. The ambiance is more dark, jazzy, and romantic. The space looked amazing with the event up-lighting included, which is customizable to whatever colors you prefer which is so cool! The food was also incredible and all of our guests complimented it. I can't say enough good things about the Chanhassen Dinner Theater! Many of our guests said it was the coolest wedding venue they've gone to. It was really fun and unique to get married on stage, and also dance in the club theater for the reception. If you want something different with a little more character than your basic ballroom or barn wedding, this is an amazing choice! Thank you CDT!

We had the BEST time ever!!! From the planning to food, cake, DJ, dancing - everything was perfect. Robyn and Genevieve were so helpful!! Everything I wanted and needed was executed with professionalism and perfection. The all inclusive packages were great! Made the planning so much easier! We also added a rehearsal dinner which was this Italian buffet. It was so great and we received so many compliments on the food. Highly recommend this venue. We had a 1920s theme and it was a perfect space. I cannot wait to see the pictures. We also rescheduled a million times due to COVID and Robyn was very accommodating.Oh and the bartender, Eric! Not sure if you read these, but you were awesome!! Thanks for being understanding about the party animals! lol Thanks again everyone at CDT!!!! We are still talking about our day :)

Chanhassen Dinner Theatre was the perfect venue for our wedding. It saved us a lot of time by having everything in one package: day of coordinator, DJ, Buttercream cake, catering and so much more! We were able to have an outdoor ceremony at Bluff Creek Golf course and they did all the set up (minus decorations), and take down. We chose the club theatre which is multilevel and has a stage. We felt like stars in our own little world. Our guests raved about the food. Robyn is incredibly sweet and was available to answer any questions or concerns we had, plus made sure our day went as smooth as possible. Definitely recommend this venue!

We started planning my daughter's wedding last spring and easily chose the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre for our venue because of its fun theme and very workable dinner/ dance areas. The main selling point was Robyn Anderson as our event coordinator, she felt like a friend we've known forever and was so quick to respond to any questions we had. We also liked the space at the golf club that the Dinner Theatre organized for an outdoor ceremony, and the fact that we would have a backup at the theatre in case of bad weather. We were really envisioning a great experience for the wedding and celebration at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, so when the Corona Virus hit and made us reevaluate our plans we were extremely disappointed. We wanted to switch to just a small backyard wedding and I was anxious about whether the CDT would argue about us asking to cancel our contract. Instead, the CDT and Robyn responded with empathy and understanding and let us receive our deposit back without hassle and with their good wishes. Outstanding. So I am happy to report that although our original plans were not able to go ahead our experience with the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and specifically with Robyn remained extremely positive to the end! I would recommend this venue without reservation to anyone getting married or having a special event!

I cannot say enough about how perfect our day was. We did our ceremony and reception on Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. We had never been there before checking them out as a potential venue. When we initially met with Genevieve her energy and excitement was infectious. The package was unbeatable and we never felt pressured into anything. We choose them immediately and we could not have been more impressed. From the tasting to the wedding, it was the best experience. Robyn and Genevieve were attentive and fun and were there to make sure it was all perfect. Not to mention the food...YUM, was also fantastic. Our guests raved about the venue and the service and the food! We are so grateful!

This venue has it all! Our wedding was beyond wishes and expectations all thanks to Robyn, the staff members at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, and the venders that they partner with. They make the planning process and the day of a fun and stress free experience. Robyn, Genevieve, and our DJ Jeff went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy all night. It also meant a lot to me how much they made sure our immediate family was taken care of and had a great time. All of our guests commented on how great the food was, how unique and beautiful the venue is, and the convience of the location. After the wedding there continued to be nothing but great responses from family and friends. Do not hesitate if you're consider this venue for your big day. Having our wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theaters was the best decision. Robyn and Genevieve took great care of us during the planning process. We had a short engagement (5 months), so having the cake and dj included saved us so much time. The bakery is wonderful. We chose the cupcakes and they were a hit. You're not getting anything low quality in the bundle. Their aim is to make sure you're well taken care of on your wedding day by making sure you're connected to the best of the best. I can't speak more highly of the dj. The songs he picked we're perfectly danceable for all the generations represented at the reception. He made sure everything kept flowing through the dinner portion of the reception and even helped one of our guests to their car. We keep talking about the day of too. We really felt like we just had to show up. They let us do a lot of decorating the night before so we just had to do the theater for the ceremony and little touches. Genevieve was with us on our wedding day and she was great. She had everything handled and you can tell the staff there are pros so it was nice walking into a calm atmosphere. She was sensitive to our needs and family dynamics. A lot of our guests commented on the cozy atmosphere of the venue and how beautiful the stage looked where we were married. The food was phenomenal. The appetizers were great and so were the latenight snacks. We've had some time to reflect on our wedding day and the whole process and we loved our wedding and feel like it was perfect for us and the biggest reason for that is because we chose to be married at the Chanhassen Dinner Theaters. If you're thinking about it, I'd recommend doing it. They made sure our wedding day was perfect, so I know they will make yours perfect too.

Wow, I cannot say enough great things about the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. My husband and I had the most amazing wedding day, and the experience was made even better with the help of Robyn and Genevieve. The day was completely stress-free, and my husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves the whole day. Having an all-inclusive package was immensely helpful in the planning and execution process. We never felt like we had to worry about details. Robyn made us feel very secure throughout the planning process and her and the workers at the chanhassen were tremendously supportive, friendly, and helpful. We really felt like we were taken care of, pampered, and respected. From the amazing venue, to the extremely delicious food, to the awesome desserts and DJ service, every service was outstanding and of the highest quality. Our day could not have been more perfect, and that is a large thank you to Chanhassen Dinner Theaters wedding team! I highly recommend choosing this venue, and I promise they will stop at no ends to make sure your wedding day is the most special day.

The day a parent can’t wait to hear “Mom & Dad we are getting married!” Woo Hoo!! I get to help my daughter with her wedding. Realizing that planning a wedding can be very overwhelming, stressful and expensive. So many decisions to be made – when, where, how many guests, cake, reception, entertainment, decorations, invitations, catering...$$$$. We decided to start with the wedding fair and looked at all the options out there not having any idea as to what she wanted to do. We walked past a few places and started to get overwhelmed. As we walked down an aisle we noticed out of the corner of our eyes Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. Huh??? I never knew they did weddings?? We went over and inquired and met a very friendly representative named Robyn Anderson (little did we know that she would end up being part of our family by the end of everything) We called and set up appointment and did a walk through at the venue. We were greeted by Robyn Anderson :) We had a welcome feeling instantly, we couldn’t believe how beautiful of a venue, the romantic lighting, and intimate surroundings. We sat down and went through everything with her. She didn’t make us feel rushed, she explained all the details and left nothing unanswered. We couldn’t believe what ease and ideas we had when we left. The package options – Things we hadn’t even about: indoor or outdoor wedding, catering, they collaborate with Buttercream Cake; they also have a photo booth for entertainment and DJ and you can even host the Grooms dinner. Everything all wrapped up and all-inclusive for reasonable rates.Our daughter decided without any hesitation to have her entire wedding celebration at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre on October 12th 2019. We give it 5 stars.On the day of the wedding we were greeted by Robyn & Genevieve Myran another organizer. These two ladies did an outstanding job. They helped to make my daughters day extra special. We had so much fun and got to enjoy the event. They made our guests feel welcome and facilitated everything professionally. We cannot say enough wonderful things Robyn and her staff at CDT. Our wedding was last weekend and it was the PERFECT day, my husband and I actually bragged about them throughout the entire process. Robyn was kind, professional, prompt, organized, and all around incredible, as was everyone we encountered. Communication was incredibly quick and the all inclusive package was the perfect option for us as we could have everything taken care of through just a few people. There are plenty of spaces to capture cool photography shots and the venue was perfect for us as we wanted something a little \"different\". Both our dinner and cake were huge hits- Buttercream Bakery (the partner included in the package) knocked it out of the park- highly recommend the chocolate cake with truffle fudge and baileys cream ;). The servers are highly experienced and ran like a well-oiled machine, we are still getting compliments on the food and hospitality of the staff. You will NOT regret booking with them, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We got married at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters a week ago and it could not have been a more perfect day or experience! From the very first steps in planning to the last minute details the day of, everything was thought of and cared for by Robyn, Genevieve and their team! The venue was beautiful; romantic, chic and classic! The food was wonderful, and the space was incredible! It was a package that made our wedding feel special, one of a kind and exactly what we were looking for! We had someone there every step of the way and the communication from them was outstanding!! The DJ though Chanhassen was also fantastic; he was a wonderful host through the entire night for my husband and I as well as our guests! He was so accommodating and kept our guests dancing all night long! I could rave about Chanhassen Dinner Theaters forever; from the wedding coordinator, to the serving staff, to the preparation to the communication, the food and the dancing they are wonderful! It is a package that made wedding planning a dream; I highly recommend them to any couple thinking of getting married! You will not regret it!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially the event coordinator and her assistant, the food was phenomenal, and the space was absolutely gorgeous. We held both the ceremony and reception in the club theatre and it was so beautiful. All the chandeliers and lighting was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The package they offer for weddings was actually very affordable as well. You get a lot for you pay for at the Chanhassen and I couldn't have been more happy with everything! Highly recommend them!

I seriously can't recommend Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) enough - and mostly it's because of their staff, Robyn and Genevieve. CDT is an all-inclusive venue, so all you need to do is find a photographer, outfits, and flowers. They handle the rest. As a type A, anxious bride - this was perfect for me. I was relaxed and had fun all day - I didn't have to do anything but live in the moment. Genevieve and Robyn treated us like VIPs, made sure the night went smoothly, helped coordinate with our florist, and went above and beyond for us. CDT has amazing food, the ambiance is romantic and dreamy, their DJ was fantastic - I was worried no one would dance, and we ended up closing down the dance floor! They also provide you tons of room to personalize - they have a photo booth you can rent, an outdoor ceremony location, and appetizers and late night snacks to die for. They also include gratuity and service charges up front, so you know what you're paying for. This is really rare in the Twin Cities, so many venues had hidden costs, and CDT had NONE. I knew exactly what we'd pay. They were extremely responsive during planning and I always felt supported and informed. I loved getting married at CDT, and I'd do it every weekend if I could. They aren't pushy sales people, so if you're considering it - please go on a tour. Go see a show and get some coconut shrimp from Brindisi's while you're at it.

The theater was absolutely breathtaking. The food was phenomenal and the serving staff was efficient and friendly. Robyn and her staff made every guest feel like the guest of honor. It made for some beautiful memories to last a lifetime. In addition to all the details they took care of before and during the event, they made our clean up the next day so easy. My wedding happened 4 days ago and my phone is still buzzing from phone calls and text messages telling us what a great weekend it was. To say we are pleased with our choice to have Robyn and the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre host our wedding would be an understatement. One could simply list out the positives and negatives during these reviews but I think our story is a very common occurrence for many who have had their wedding and reception at CDT...our negative is we won’t be able to have another wedding here the following weekend (this was asked by multiple pleased guests who described CDT as a magical place).The vendors CDT work with absolutely nailed it (Buttercream for desserts & Minnesota Wedding Party as the DJ). The recommended florist (Chanhassen Floral) outdid herself. But the true heroes we have to thank are Robyn, Genevieve, and the rest of the CDT staff. Robyn assumes all roles to ensure the wedding party is enjoying themselves but it doesn’t stop there. By the end of the night, family and friends were complimenting us on all wedding aspects but what you don’t expect them to also say is, “Your wedding planner is incredible.”If you read no other part of this review understand that our wedding was thee best night of our lives. The food, venue, and dance were unbelievable but it was the details that we are still talking about. The ones that put it over the top making us question if it all happened or question if it was just a dream. The details where our ring bearer was given encouragement and support he needed leading up to his important role. The excitement and knowledge shared during the set up process of the ceremony and reception. The reassurance and patience shown during the 1,001 questions asked by a bride, groom, and mother-in-law. Those details I’m describing that we will never forget are all covered by Robyn and the rest of the CDT staff. There is no way we could ever thank her enough for all she accomplished that weekend. I challenge anyone to find a better all-around experience for your wedding weekend. They are the best!

We cannot even begin to express how amazing our wedding was at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters! First we decided on CDT because the All-Inclusive wedding package was convenient to us (it includes almost everything and the items it didn’t include, they had a convenient list. No shopping around searching for vendors). It only got better from there!! We were having an unusual theme to our wedding (Professional Wrestling). We were nervous about telling the venue about our theme and thought they might not be supportive. On the contrary, our wedding planner Robyn, had so many great ideas that made our theme fun but also made a perfect wedding & reception! She made us feel like we were her most important clients, she was AMAZING!! The DJ Tim is beyond phenomenal!! He is so much more than a DJ, he hosted throughout the whole day (from telling us when we need to be up for cutting cake to bringing the nervous Maid of Honor a drink before her speech). We seriously cannot say enough great things about this venue!!! Added bonus whenever we go back to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater for a show , we get to relive the memories ❤️

Robyn and all of the staff at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre were amazing! They are knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Robyn met with us many times throughout the wedding planning process to answer any questions we had. She responds to emails and phone calls promptly. They help with logistics and have an amazing all inclusive wedding package. When we compared the pricing to everything we would have to buy separate it was a great deal.The private tasting prior to our wedding was so fun and it helped us decide on our dinner and wine options. They also have an indoor or outdoor option for the ceremony.Highly recommend!!

This is the best venue! They do such an amazing job, make everything super easy and convenient for you, and are super affordable on top of it. Robyn is the absolute greatest! There is no way we could have done our wedding without her. She is so on top of everything while being so sweet, understanding, and supportive. It truly feels like she has your back every step of the way. I didn’t find out until right before the reception that my dress didn’t have a bustle – Robyn stepped up and constructed one out of safety pins! She and Genevieve both go above and beyond to ensure that you really do have the best day ever. Some places don’t give you much flexibility in designing the space how you want, the dinner theatre and their staff do. You have a say in everything from the seating plan to the décor to the lighting. Because there wasn’t another event the day before, we were able to get in the reception space early to set up everything. The staff was generous enough to clean up after the reception was over, setting aside all of our personal items on a table so clean-up the next day was super quick and easy. We chose Bluff Creek for our outdoor ceremony and it was so beautiful, private and secluded, several creative options for photos. For our reception, we chose the Club Theatre – such a unique and interesting space with tiered seating, all of our guests could see us and we at the head table could see all of our guests. The food is fantastic, several options and generous portions. DJ Henry was phenomenal. He did such a great job playing the music my husband and I wanted as well as playing to the crowd, the dance floor was full the entire night. What’s really cool and unique is that they display the music videos during the dance, I've never heard of another place doing that. Our guests really loved everything, raving about the food and music especially. The hotel is right there, super convenient - guests don’t have to worry about driving if they have a little too much. :-) We can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff, they’re the best!!!

Robyn and her team, especially Genevive were absolutly amazing. They listened to all of our ideas and helped us follow through with all of them. The DJ was so awesome and helped with our singer and speakers needs.I as Mother of the Bride was also the Florist and they helped me finish the final items I was running out of time to finish so I could get ready.Robyn has made the entire experience so seamless. The Groom is in the Marines and could not be here till right before the Wedding and she made sure he was good with everything that was going to occur once he got home.From the food tasting to the final dance and everything in between this was a fantastic experience

Coming up on our 1-year anniversary we have fond memories of our special day at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. We chose to have the wedding, the rehearsal dinner & the reception on site and we could not have been happier with our decision! With the millions of decisions that come with planning a wedding their package deal made it way less stressful, super convenient and the price was comparable to other places we looked into when we broke everything down. We got lots of compliments on the cupcakes from Buttercream Bakery & our DJ had a great music selection that kept everyone dancing all night. Dinner was delicious, served timely, and while there was one minor mishap with a special meal need, it was resolved quickly so we were grateful for that. The Wedding & Events Manager, Robyn, & the Events Assistant, Genevieve, were extremely accommodating & attentive both in planning before and on the day of our wedding. The only downside to the venue was there wasn't a place to get ready the morning of but there's a hotel right next door to the CDT. We all got ready there and walked across the parking lot as soon as we were ready so it wasn't an issue at all. We are grateful for our wonderful experience and recommend the CDT if you're looking for a beautiful, non-traditional venue that will help minimize the amount of stressful decisions and make it a positively memorable wedding day.

Robyn (Wedding Planner) was wonderful! Robyn went out of her way to help and plan everything for our wedding. Genevieve was awesome as well! Tim and Henry (DJ's) were very accommodating. The food was great! We were very pleased and can't say enough of how great our day turned out! Robin even ironed a few tablecloths for us at the last minute and helped us unload boxes of flowers . Thank you!

From handling the food to the entire staff and dj, they supplied everything which made it very convenient to work with them. They also made my wife’s wishes come true by helping us coordinate a sparkler send off in front of the Theatre! We both highly recommend using the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres as your venue for your big day as we know they will help make your day one you’ll never forget as they did for my wife and I!

We got married at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater earlier this year!We held our reception in the lower level room and the ceremony in the dance loft. The two spaces were incredible! Very warm and romantic feels with the mirrored pillars, golden chairs, and warm lighting.The staff were top notch! One hiccup with requested beer, that by the time we knew about it was already taken care of above and beyond our expectations! Robyn and Genevieve were very thorough and were like my own secret service members making sure everything was seamless. I was surprised to see them stay all the way till the end of the night to ensure everything was perfect!The DJ company was very personal and professional, the photo booth 110% worth the extra cost! And the service staff was always pleasant with smiles and willingness to help.We opted for the Italian Buffet which was amazing! Many people commented on how good the food was. The package deal uses buttercream for the cake and they were super easy to work with, however good luck picking a cake favor with so many good choices to choose from.On a business end all the costs were up front and no hidden fees! Loved loved loved this! When all was said and done the all inclusive package also included a piece of mind because we knew exactly what to expect as far as costs went. There was also plenty of opportunities to customize the all inclusive package to fit exactly what we wanted.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, unique, all in one venue!

Your wedding day is one of the most magical days of your life. It may have taken a lifetime, but you found the person you want to spend your life with, and all too often, choosing a venue and making the arrangements can sap some of the charm from that experience. I am thrilled to say that with the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, the experience of planning the wedding is almost as fun as the day itself! Robyn and Genevieve do a fantastic job of keeping in constant contact to review nearly every aspect of the reception, from the meal plan (complete with the Dinner Theater's outstanding kitchen menu, though they are also very accommodating if you want to do something completely different. My wife and I had them do a taco bar which was incredible; many guests told us that was the star of the show, though not in earshot of the bride, of course :) ), to seating arrangements and layout, to the decorations and lighting. It's almost like having a wedding planner; they are that involved.We did not use the Dinner Theater for the wedding ceremony, just the reception dinner, but they do offer services that are all inclusive. They even include the wedding cake as part of the package, so it is very convenient and streamlined; it's one stop shopping!And what is a reception without music? Tim, the resident DJ, is also the impresario for the evening, introducing the wedding party, initiating speeches, and of course spinning some rocking tunes that are sure to get your guests on the dancefloor! Even though we didn't have our ceremony through the dinner theater, Tim made himself available for our ceremony and helped us setup the audio and speakers. Like Robyn and Genevieve, he is very involved throughout the whole process.My wife and I are big fans of the dinner theater's productions, but what sold us on them as our Reception venue was attending a wedding here for one of our friends a few years ago. We fell in love with the atmosphere and the production value (fitting, seeing as how one of the options for the reception is to have your event on an actual stage), and knew in that moment that when our own special day came, nothing less than the Chanhassen Dinner Theater would do. As happy as I am to gush about the amazing experience, that is the highest praise I can give it; we read no reviews, we did not even price check any other venues. As soon as we saw what a reception at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater looked like, we were hooked.Your wedding day is about celebrating love first and foremost, but if you want to add some flair and theatrics, you cannot do better than the Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

If I could give CDT and Robyn 20 stars, I would. We had an absolutely amazing wedding here on 4/7/18. Our whole day was literally a dream. From starting to plan to the last dance, we had nothing but wonderful experiences working with Robyn (events manager). Robyn made everything happen for us and truly made our day so special. We got so many complements on the theatre room, food, drinks, and the fun that was had by all. A true all inclusive, affordable and great package. Thank you to Robyn and the whole CDT team fo making our wedding a dream!

I just got married here on March 2, 2018 and I couldn't have asked for a better day! This venue and the staff exceeded all my expectations leading up to the wedding and on the day of my wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Robyn (on-site coordinator for the day of the wedding) was so patient and answered all my questions - she even met with me several times at the theatre during the last few months so I could refresh my memory about the layout (I was in panic mode). The day before the wedding we were able to come in to the theatre super early to set up and Robyn and Genevieve were there to help us get everything that we needed and answer any questions. We even altered the reception layout slightly that day and they accommodated our requests no questions asked. We also had the rehearsal that same night and Robyn and Genevieve were there to lead the whole thing. They helped us figure out the flow, determine placement on the stage, fix the lighting, cue the our musician, etc. At one point I started to get overwhelmed when questions were fired at me from every angle and Robyn just focused on what I wanted and needed. On our wedding day, the theatre was just beautiful! Robyn and Genevieve were there every step of the way! We got SO many compliments on their attentiveness from our wedding party and parents. I never expected to receive such amazing service. The wait staff SO attentive - I never had to have our water filled. Genevieve even opened our champagne and poured it for us! The theatre partners with certain vendors with the all-inclusive package for the DJ (MN Wedding Party) and the cake baker (Buttercream Collection). Both were completely amazing, too! (Separate reviews on these!) The only thing that I would have changed is that there was a gap between when our salad was served and our dinner was served. I wish it would have been a smaller gap, but that's it. Nothing drastic! Keep up the good work, CDT!

We loved the inclusive packaged, it made things stress free day of the wedding and helped simplify the planning. We had small bumps along the way but day-of the wedding everything was perfect and we are very appreciative of the team at CDT. I'd recommend this venue but encourage staying on top of things as it appears the staff is overloaded and may forget or have a delay in response. We had our ceremony and reception in the same spot and got so many compliments on the unique and convenient space (Club Theatre), delicious food and cake, plus we loved the DJ. It was very affordable which allowed us to spend more in other areas of our wedding and save more for our honeymoon.

We could not have chosen a better venue. An all inclusive package that includes a reception for 150 (can have more or less), DJ, cake, 2 kegs of beer, and (for a little extra) even your ceremony. It takes away a lot of the stress.I would recommend this place to anyone, however since they do quite a few weddings, you have to have meetings with them and decoration set up on their schedule. They tend to have certain days for dinner tastings and final meetings so be prepared for that. This may also include having to set up the morning of if you are having a reception on Saturday. Just be flexible. They do an amazing job.The coordinators took great care of us and the DJ did an absolutely perfect job. This venue may be cheaper than other venues but I can guarantee there is no decrease in quality!

We had our January wedding ceremony and reception in the Club Theatre at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. We worked mostly with Hallie, and then towards the end we met Robyn who was the one mainly coordinating our day. I feel that it went pretty smoothly. There were a couple of things that I had to remind them that we wanted, but overall communication was good. The day of went smoothly and I was probably the least stressed that day, which was a relief. I love DJ Tim who worked with us and definitely went above and beyond the day before and the day of. We did the package deal for our wedding and got a discount for it being off season. The package deal was nice, but if you are wanting to do more for drinks (wine for example) you have to make sure to calculate it all out, because all of their add-ons can be pricey. We did do some appetizers during cocktail hour, which I do suggest the meatballs, they were worth it. We also did the spinach and artichoke cups, which there wasn’t very many for the price. Over we are happy with the way things turned out and would suggest them as a venue.

I'm a bride just looking for venues at the moment- haven't even signed on with them and we've had warning signs we can't ignore. Chan dinner theaters has been our first place choice for quite a while, especially with the all inclusive package that would make planning easier, which makes my experience with them even more disappointing. The tour went well, most questions were answered, but the big thing is electronic communication. Halley seems to be a nice person, and answers relatively quickly, but most answers given are adequate at best when asked online. When asked about tours it took almost two weeks to figure something out, even to the points of being given a tour option in two hours of the email. When asked to give more information about the dj or cake, or a financial breakdown further than what's on the flyer, we were either sent the flyer two more times or given the shortest answer possible and not answering the question. \"What kind of cake is included- how many tiers, size, until we would have to pay more to upgrade?\" \"It's a Buttercream cake.\"As a bride I feel like I shouldn't have to pull teeth to get simple financial answers or details about what's included other than what's in the flyer. I'm a bit sad about it since it's a beautiful venue and it would make planning easier, but not being on the same page with communication is not worth the headache. I'll save that for other things- and perhaps you should too.

I wanted a place that was as all-inclusive as possible and Chanhassen didn't disappoint. It was an amazingly beautiful wedding and the day was perfect. They did unexpected things for us the day of. Everyone there had a fantastic time and Tim, the DJ/concierge was amazing at directing the night. I highly recommend the photo booth - that was a hit! They had so many cool places to take pictures and secret spots they showed our photographer. Our wedding photographer really liked working with Chanhassen and their staff - she was given free reign to capture the perfect shots. I also have to mention, the food is phenomenal! They do so many weddings that they really do know what works best for their space. Chanhassen does create a wonderful wedding experience.Why only 4 stars? We booked Chanhassen 20 months prior to our wedding date. During that time details and offered services were \"lost\". I even had to reach out to them after the 90 day mark since they hadn't contacted me per our contract. Five weeks before our wedding we found out our ceremony was going to take place in a different theatre. In the end, the new theatre was a better place for it and they know what they are doing, but when you're getting to crunch time ANY change, can be very stressful. Chanhassen is a great place to get married and I would recommend this place if you want a more \"fancy\" all inclusive wedding. I would just say, make sure that you stay on top of them in terms of communication and setting things up. They are wonderful about responding to questions/communication!

We had our ceremony and reception in the Club Theater. It turned out so beautiful! We enjoyed every moment. The Chanhassen took care of almost everything! The food was amazing, the cake also (included and from Buttercream Bakery in Minnetonka!) was delicious. The guests were raving all night! The DJ, also included and provided, went above and beyond to make it that much more special! They do an outstanding job, and you can be absolutely sure that everything will go as planned! They regularly host the dinner theater, so they handle large parties all the time! If you want a beautiful location to take care of nearly everything (and take the stress off your shoulders!), for a reasonable price, chose the Chanhassen Dinner Theater! You will not be dissapointed!

We had such a great time, and with the help and assistance of Halley and crew for the setup it was beautiful. We had so many compliments. The DJ, Tim did an awesome job as well. People asked if we put the bridesmaid scavenger hunt and bride/groom shoe game in and we gave all the credit to Tim. Tom B the bartender was also fantastic, very professional and cordial. I didn’t catch the names of all the other wait staff but they all did an excellent job. The food was great as well. I know many people would complain if something was bad so I just wanted to let them know that everything was excellent. We are so happy with how everything turned out!

I’ve provided a bullet point list and you can decide for yourself if this is the kind of service you want on your wedding day. \r-They double booked weddings on the same day back to back, so we had to move up our ceremony time a month and a half before the wedding. Including sending out revised invites. We were never notified another wedding was booked the same day and it never stated in the contract another wedding could be booked on the same day on the same site… \r-We found out they doubled booked weddings after our meeting with Halley and after our last payment was received, convenient much? \r-I called the general manager of Chanhassen Dinner Theater’s to express my concerns and heard nothing back. \r-They told us the other wedding wouldn’t be at the site until after 4pm, they showed up at 2pm the day of the wedding taking pictures the same time as us. \r-The assistant wedding planner asked me if I wanted to run the rehearsal. I’m paying you money to be here so why would I run my own rehearsal? She didn’t have any of my information- including our wedding party list etc…\r-They told us to make a wedding playlist on our ipod, and the night of the rehearsal they told us they had a new music system and we could no longer use our ipod. So I had to email our wedding playlist the night before our wedding at 12:30am. Also because of this we were unable to practice our wedding ceremony with music, which was a huge disappointment. \r-They messed up my wedding song – I was supposed to walk down the isle to the instrumental version of the song, but they played the lyrical version.\r -I was standing in the ceremony site while they were setting up chairs and the staff, including Halley were talking about how these brides (aka me) thought they could set up this site by themselves and we don’t understand all the work that goes into planning a wedding…so basically they were talking crap about me while I was standing there waiting to do my first look with my future husband. \r-The entire experience Halley never fully explained things and never followed up with me, I was always the one making the effort which I felt was unprofessional since I was paying her to be our wedding coordinator. \r-We had 2 golf carts reserved for the wedding to help our grandparents get to and from the ceremony site. They had 2 teenage girls in the carts that never offered to help, they didn’t even introduce themselves…they just sat in the golf carts playing on their cell phones. I had to walk to up them during pictures to ask if they were even here for our wedding party. \r-Halley and her entire team didn’t come up to me or my fiancé AT ALL the day of the wedding…they pretty much just ignored us. \rHalley is in the wrong profession of being “wedding planner/coordinator”. Never in my life have I paid someone over a thousand dollars to help me that couldn’t have cared less about our wedding. As a bride you deal with a lot people when planning your wedding and Chanhassen Dinner Theater’s was the only difficult one for me. I hope reading this I can save at least one bride from having to deal with these people.\r

In the end, I was happy with the location and the value we received for our reception at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. They offer a great package with many inclusions that made our wedding planning experience easier. However, in my experience working with various other wedding vendors, I would have liked the service to be a bit better than what we received. During the early planning stages, I often needed to follow up to have questions answered. As we got closer to the wedding, this lack of communication did not improve. Lastly, I was disappointed to find out that many of the details we had discussed with the coordinators at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre prior to the wedding, were not taken care of or ignored. Had it not been for reliable family friends arriving early to the venue, some of the final details would not have been possible.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Club House theater with 160 guests. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding! They are so professional and know exactly what they are doing. You can trust that your day will go smoothly. I loved that they had package options. We didn't have to worry about a thing. We could get the food, DJ, photo booth, cake, and decorations all through the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. They made planning our wedding so much easier and less stressful! If you are looking for a unique place to get married and have your reception, look into the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. We got married in one of the theatres and had our reception in their banquet area. We receive SO MANY compliments on the venue, food and staff. The all inclusive package took a lot of stress out of finding vendors, and the people they use are great. I would not have changed a thing.

We had a good experience working with the wedding coordinators. It was almost like having a free wedding planner, they helped us review many decisions we hadn't thought about. We chose the club theatre for the ceremony and reception and the appearance really exceeded my expectations. We did many personal touches but the room itself, lighting and set-up looked amazing. We got to set-up the night before because an event wasn't happening, which made a huge difference. Guests thought we had a much more expensive wedding. The inclusive wedding package made planning easier and seemed to be a great value compared to other venues we checked out. Attendees really enjoyed their meals, which were large portions. The site was flexible and accommodating to seating and meal requests. My only issue was guest confusion because two weddings were happening so close together. We also lacked security as guests from the other wedding joined our reception and used the photo booth we paid extra to have. We were able to leave our decorations to pick-up the next day, which was nice.

This was the perfect venue for my vintage taste mixed with my husbands modern tendency! We did our ceremony in the playhouse theater which was nice and intimate. Then we had our reception in the club house which is tiered so everyone can see from every table.\r\rThe all inclusive made it incredibly stress free, and the event coordinators were very nice to work with. They helped keep us on time through out the year, and were helpful with tips.\r\rWe opted to add on the hot chocolate bar which was one of the only things we were disappointed with, but it was such a good night and experience that it wasn't such a big deal.\r\rWe brought in our own decorations and they helped us take them down at the end of the night, they put them all in one area for us to pick up in the morning. It was wonderful, and thoughtful!

My husband and I were excited from the moment we walked into the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre because of the great ambiance and decor, but our experience was better than we could have imagined when we first walked through the doors. \r\rBoth Britnee and Hailee are fantastic to work with and make having your dream wedding seem easy! \r\rThe spaces look stunning and are fun to be in, the food is mouthwatering-ly delicious, and they are there every step of the way to make your planning as easy as possible. \r\rThey offer an amazing package deal that can really save you planning time, and they were happy to customize it to fit our needs! \r\rWhen looking at everything that we got included in our package to the costs of doing everything separate at another venue: there was no comparison. The Chanhassen is an amazing deal!\r\rThey work with Buttercream bakery for their cakes and that too was perfect. \r\rI am so glad that we chose the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre for our wedding and I can't recommend them enough. \r\rThank you so much!!!

As a busy bride I appreciated the package the Chanhassen Provides. Makes planning easy and all vendors work together regularly so it went perfectly! Two weeks later people are still raving about the food. You don't hear that about weddings often! The folks at the Chanhassen from event coordinators (Britnee and Halley) to DJ (Tim) made sure the day went smooth from start to finish. They even cleaned up and had everything boxed and ready for us to pick up the next day. The space is fabulous, everyone thought it was unique and fun. If you are looking for a unique space and hassle free wedding reception this is it!! And it is reasonably priced to boot! Thanks to all who made this day perfect!!!

From the first tour to the last few minutes of our reception everything was seamless and fantastic! Everyone there took care of everything and provided fantastic service. We would highly recommend to anyone!

The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre went above and beyond to help us plan our day! Halley and Britnee were so easy to work with, they were easy to reach and always available to answer any questions or concerns that came up. They were very hands on the day of the wedding, and I really didn't have to worry about anything. Whatever I asked for or needed, they were there to help! The package that the Dinner Theatre offers is really a great deal! I had my ceremony in their Fireside Theatre and the cocktail hour and reception in the Banquet Room. The DJ and Buttercream cake are both included in the package, and both were fabulous. Overall the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre offered us an incredibly unique and special venue for our big day, and our guests absolutely loved it. We really couldn't have been happier with our day, it was perfect!

We could not be more pleased with the wedding we had at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. The staff and wedding coordinators were wonderful to work with. They listened to our needs, answered questions on time and it was great to have their help at the rehearsal and on the wedding day. The location is also beautiful and so unique! I would recommend the Club Theatre. Our guests loved the balcony, the stage, the food - really everything! For the price this is definitely a place that you should check out!

The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre did an amazing job helping us coordinate and plan our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and everyone loved it! Halley and Britnee were so accomodating and helped us through every step of the process. The package was such a great deal, and the venue so unique, we fell in love the first time we saw it. We definitely recommend people look into using the theatre for their wedding.

My husband and I were extremely satisfied with this venue for our recent wedding and reception. Package covers venue, catering, linens, some stage decor, Buttercream Cake & Desserts cake, and a DJ. The appetizers for the social hour, and the dinner meal were heartily consumed by our guests with rave reviews. The unique setting was a memorable experience for our guests that many favorably commented on.

I had the most amazing wedding at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. The staff was amazing, the bartenders were awesome, the food was delicious. They went so above and beyond anything I would ever have imagined. And then the prices were so reasonable, it was a steal. I recommend this venue to anyone!!

Niki spent time with us talking through options and was very knowledgeable. I did find this vendor a bit more expensive than some of the competitors though.

When we first met with Halley we were skeptical but she seemed to be fine with everything throughout the planning process. Closer to the wedding though she seemed disorganized and seemed to forget a lot of things she offered or told us. She also didn't let us know when things changed such as the menu and other options. After a lot of frustration and confusion things went well the day of so I was overall satisfied and everyone ranted and raved about the food and the location.

We didn't know that Chanhassen Dinner Theatres did weddings until we started looking for different venues. We were amazed at how much we got for our wedding for the price! The package that we got included everything from the cake to the DJ to the dinner selections and even a ticket to the show for the tasting! Everything was incredible. Halley and Marie were fantastic at accommodating all of our needs. We were married on the stage of the Fireside Theatre and had our reception in the Banquet rooms! Everything was absolutely perfect!

My husband has a degree in film studies, so in order to involve his interests in our wedding we had a (tasteful) movie themed wedding. We looked at multiple theaters in the cities, but all were quite expensive for various reasons. The Chanhassen is new to the wedding crowd, and therefore you can get a great deal! Halley and her staff did a great job and our wedding was PERFECT!! You can't beat the ease of an 'all-inclusive' site! As far as the cost bracket, we were definitely closer to 10K than 20k.

We were unbelievably happy with what Nikki at Chan Floral did for our wedding. We received numerous compliments on the ceremony/reception/bridal flowers. Personally, I knew nothing about flowers. I told Nikki the colors I wanted and the shape I wanted for the bouquets and she worked her magic. My husband and I really can't say enough good things about her!

Nikki at Chanhassen Floral did a great job finding out my needs and what I wanted for the big day. Even though I changed my mind a few times she was very easy to work with and made sure I understood everything that I needed and even things I didn't think about adding. From the bouquet to the wonderful table displays it was definitely all worth it. I would recommend Nikki due to the fact that I had no idea at first what I wanted and just by her asking me simple questions it got the ball rolling and it turned into be more beautiful than I imagined.
