September 23,2023 Wedding. An absolute dream. We worked with catering manager Nicole. She was absolutely fantastic to work with, easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and very accommodating. We received multiple compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the servers were and how great the food was. Bartenders were so quick to make drinks and very personable . The lemon drop martini as our signature drink ( not included in hosted hours as itâs a specialty drink) was a HUGE hit . We opted for the reception on the lawn we did have to our source lights and a dance floor but that was totally okay the vibes at night with all our lit candles and under an open sky were amazing . Tips: Donât close your bar during dinner time- as it also closes soft drinks, we were able to quickly fix it during our dinner so it was fine but just a heads up. Reviewed on 22-01-2024

Karla & Steven September 09, 2023Choosing Twin Oaks Golf Course as or wedding venue was one of the best decisions we have ever made, itâs a beautiful venue, the patio has a stunning fireplace that we absolutely loved and have hanging market lights that made our cocktail hour feel just perfect for our guests. We had our reception at the lawn , green every where, tall bushes, a lot of white blooms and a beautiful view to the mountains, perfect sky and perfect sunset, it was absolutely beautiful!!If you are having an outdoor wedding you need to be done by 10pm but Twin Oaks have a ballroom all newly remodeled that you can use and have an after party there, this was a great option for us.Working with the sales manager Nicole was an absolute pleasure. She made everything easy and stress-free, she truly understood our needs and went above and beyond for us. She also worked with the Chef to create the perfect meals for us, I wanted a specific meal and they nailed they got us exactly what we wanted.Food was absolutely delicious all of my guest talked about how great food was and how beautiful the venue was.On the day of the event, all of the servers, bartenders and any other workers were so kind and helpful, Daniel the Banquet Manager did a great job coordinating dinner service, every one got their food in a short period of time, wine service, champagne pouring and cake right after dinner, everything just on time.Everyone did a great job and made our wedding day as perfect as it possibly could have been. It was everything I have dream of! Reviewed on 20-12-2023

With the help of Nicole, and the rest of the team, we just had our dream wedding at Twin Oaks Golf Course!!Nicole - thank you for all that you did to help bring our special day to life. Nicole was always available to answer my hundreds of questions, and was so much fun to work with whenever we got to see her in person too. The only complaint I have is that we did have a little bit of a mix up with the projector - we rented them from the venue and she had said they had both the projector and a screen, but unfortunately, on the day of we found out that there was no screen. If we had known ahead of time, we could have planned and brought our own. But considering that was the only issue, I would say that's pretty darn good!!The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the food was amazing! It's always hard to know if the food will be good or not when it's included at a venue, so you have to take a bit of a gamble when booking. But when we came in for our tasting a few months before the wedding, everything was amazing! It was hard to choose which dishes to serve. The drinks on the day of were great too, and the bartenders were awesome - there was never a line or long wait at the bar, they did a great job keeping up with everyone. We had about 100 people at the wedding and it was the perfect size. The fireplace area can technically accommodate more, but I think it would have felt a little too crowded if we had more people. Overall, we had a great experience with Twin Oaks Golf Course!Thank you for everything! Reviewed on 13-07-2023
Deanna Okajima(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-11-2022 My husband and I just got married at Twin Oaks this past weekend!! Twin Oaks Golf Course did an amazing job!! Last year in search of venues, we fell in love with the location and layout of this venue. Some of the many positives included: a very responsive catering sales manager- Nicole M. was so great at responding to us and providing us tours and information about the venue. She was very nice and it was clear that she was very knowledgeable about weddings; ample, free parking, renovated ballroom, nice bathrooms; a full bar and kitchen; a beautiful space to add decor to but it didnât need a crazy amount of wedding decor add-ons to make the space look ready to hosts. These were just the first impressions, but throughout the planning process up until the end of our wedding, Twin Oaks delivered! We and all of our guests loved the food and drink and the service! We want to shoutout to our banquet captain Christian for helping us through the many transitions in the wedding and for keeping the flow of the wedding smooth! They provided so many services all in one and that was soo helpful! For future brides and grooms, something to be on top of is the total cost. It was definitely one of the most reasonable costs out of the 7 other venues we were looking at in San Diego for a party of about 130, however, things just add up so fast and itâs important to prepare for high costs and to be vigilant about the added costs if budget is important to you, and this goes for all wedding services. We appreciate Twin Oaks for being upfront about their costs and definitely very happy with their service and have no regrets in the money spent! Reviewed on 22-11-2022
Alexa Davis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-06-2022 Contracted with Twin Oaks in February 2021 and had our wedding June 2022. Since our contracting the venue did some renovations and the venue is just gorgeous - totally recommend! We worked with Jill and she was great to work with. Jill was prompt with communication, paid attention to detail, was very helpful and accommodating and overall really customer service-oriented. The food was incredibly delicious and overall, hosting our wedding there was nothing short of perfect! Reviewed on 08-08-2022
Christine Mathers(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-08-2021 I got married at Twin Oaks Golf Course on 8/21/21. This is a FANTASTIC venue with beautiful views. I toured a few wedding venues after I got engaged at Twin Oaks was the clear standout. This venue is a true hidden gem. From the stunning mountain views, beautiful white roses, and breathtaking greenery it will give you the wedding pictures you dream of. You will also get a lot more bang for your buck at Twin Oaks Golf Course. We were able to have the best dinner buffet package and a full open bar which would not have been the case at other venues with our budget. This place is affordable, but gives you the 5-star garden wedding experience. The food is also DELICIOUS. We were blown away at our tasting of how good the food was. Our guests had the biggest compliments to give to the chef on the day of the wedding. The pork loin, chicken piccata, and prime rib are to die for. Twin Oaks Golf Course biggest asset is their catering manager Jill. Jill blew us away right from the start on our tour of the venue. Jill is incredibly professional and accommodating. She worked with me on postponing our wedding due to Covid and helped rearrange the layout multiple times when guests were dropping out (even on the day of). She is always there to answer any questions or concerns you might have. She was quick to respond to emails and was very courteous! The venue has been newly renovated with new paint and flooring that we were very impressed with. They took great care of their facility. With all that being said, my only couple of negatives in this whole 2-year planning process happened on the wedding day. We asked for a few specific things in their getting ready room/clubhouse that were not delivered (coffee, orange juice for mimosas, cheese for the meat and cheese board). Also, the fire in the fireplace that was burning the night of the wedding was way too smokey. We got a few complaints from our guests to put the fire out, but at the point we were told it would make it worse. So, if youâre having a summer patio wedding, I would reconsider having the fire on. All in all, these were just a couple of small things, but everything else was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Twin Oaks Golf Course as my wedding venue. It was the perfect spot to celebrate the best day of our lives! Reviewed on 07-10-2021

Karoline Foxman(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-07-2019 The Twin Oaks venue is beautiful, the staff was nice, the food was decent, so why only 3 stars? Pamela, the wedding coordinator that came with the venue was okay.In general, we found Pamela difficult to work with, when we expected her to be accommodating, she was defensive. Pamela clearly has a lot of experience coordinating weddings at Twin Oaks Golf, she is direct, and perhaps it was just a bad match with our personalities. To give some examples: We understood that Twin Oaks does not offer desserts in its packages and found a bakery for our desserts. However, we were getting logistics questions from the bakery about delivery timing and storage available, and so we asked Pamela to coordinate delivery with the bakery. Instead, she gave us a bare minimum of information like âwe have a Pepsi-coolerâ, we ended up wasting time being the interpreter for the bakery when this should be the responsibility of our coordinator.Another example was the group tasting event, where Pamela specifically told us to give feedback on the food. However, when we mentioned that we preferred the chicken and risotto to be less dry, she jumped to defending the chefs with the excuse that there was a lot of people tasting different foods and that we couldnât expect the food to be perfect at a tasting. Instead of appreciating the feedback or simply taking notes, she valued the chef's interest more than ours. Some of our family members also reacted to Pamelaâs behavior at the rehearsal. During rehearsal we were all in a good mood, greeting the wedding party and having our families there. Pamela was curt, impatient, and put a damper on our otherwise good mood. Even my jolly father-in-law who never has anything bad to say about anyone asked us if she was always like this.As a bride, I understand that there are a lot of things that I needed to be doing at certain times during the wedding. Pamela made me feel rushed to the point where I was unable to enjoy moments because I was being whisked off to some other activity. To be specific, right after we cut our cake and sat down to enjoy our slice, Pamela rushed over and said it was time for the first dance. If I could do it all again, would I have chosen to get married at Twin Oaks Golf? Yes, the venue gorgeous, and the views stunning, and all of our guests raved about the venue. Would I have liked to have known the coordinator better before deciding? Yes. Would I have hired my own day-of coordinator? Yes.If I could do it all again, I still would have chosen to get married at Twin Oaks. The venue was gorgeous and the views stunning. However, I would have liked to have known the coordinator better beforehand. We did not meet Pamela until after we had signed the contracts, and had gotten along great with our first contact, Jill. Because of this, I would recommend hiring a different day-of coordinator. Reviewed on 25-06-2020
Nicole Sessions(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2019 Think about every wedding venue you have been to. There is something you can always complain about....the food, the service, no views, too expensive, too big, too small, and even the dated ugly carpet. At Twin Oaks, you are not going to complain about ANYTHING! Jill and Pamela make the booking and planning process so incredibly easy. You get to attend the venue a few times before your actual wedding day, map out how the big day will look and even try the food! Once you try the menu they really allow you to customize to your liking. When you arrive on the day of your wedding, Pamela truly ensures a stress free day! She is a total rockstar. The bar and food service was fantastic and all my guests always had a drink or food in front of them. The view alone during the outside ceremony were breathtaking. The mountains in the background were such a different kind of scenery for San Diego, and the white garden roses all around were so romantic and whimsical. She was great at communicating and reminding us of important dates leading up to the big day. Pamela was helpful at answering questions but took quite a bit to respond to my emails. The rehearsal the day before went well, I would suggest that if a bride has a suggestion no matter what it is, that the coordinator accommodates it without hesitation. Our wedding day went very smoothly. Some suggestions from the bridal party would be to make sure all trash is removed from ceremony and reception area prior to arrival. Our photographer was not given her own golf cart for pictures after ceremony, which we thought was guaranteed especially for safety and time constraints. Reviewed on 13-11-2018

There are many areas on the ground that offer great picture back drops... just pick your photographer carefully to take full advantage of the property ( ours was so so for a price of a great photographer :( ). \r\rOnly gripes about the venue: 1)There were too many seats at the ceremony and it made it look like a lot of people didnt show up. We just had a smaller wedding and did not need the standard 100 chairs. The pictures of the ceremony just look kind of weird with all the open seats. 2) not a lot of pre-wedding planning communication or assistance from the venue.
