Joe and Mary Snapp are part of the tenth generation to farm this land and they take great pride in growing quality crops on-site. These delicious fruits and vegetables can be incorporated into your desired cuisine by the in-house culinary team. The sprawling grounds of West Oaks Farm Market & Event Venue offer 360-degree views of the Shenandoah Valley. Here, couples can enjoy an open-air ceremony surrounded by rolling fields and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This property offers ample outdoor ceremony sites to choose from, all of which benefit from beautiful views across this countryside setting. Afterward, guests can gather on the concrete patio to enjoy a sunset cocktail hour. Here, cozy fire pits provide warmth and romantic lighting. Attendees can also lounge on the delightful wrap-around porch as they sip champagne and socialize. Inside, the spacious banquet hall offers a beautifully decorated space to host a reception event of up to 250 attendees. Here, clean white walls are complemented by hardwood flooring and wooden window frames. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace provides a perfect focal point within this room and emanates a cozy glow. Simply perfect event venue. Sylvia and her staff were nothing less than amazing. Professional, kind, and they went above and beyond to make sure my wedding day was the best ever. I did not have to worry about a thing all evening because I was confident they had it all handled. They had excellent communication and held themselves to a high standard. West Oaks is THE place to get married or hold an event. My guests raved about the food and service. 10/10!!

West Oaks was the absolute best choice for our wedding venue. Sylvia and Levi made sure this was a stress free experience. They made sure everything was taken care of. I could not have asked for better! We received so many compliments about the beauty of the venue and how delicious the food was! The staff were always super friendly and attentive. We cannot thank them enough for making our day extra special.

West Oaks farm market is a beautiful event venue, and worth every penny. Getting married during the Covid-19 season was a unique challenge, but the team at West Oaks went out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of. We truly felt like family working with them, and we could tell the personal attention that was put into making sure that our event went well. Before choosing West Oaks, we had looked at several other cheaper venue options but found that we would have been nickel and dimed for things that were included at West Oaks. The views of the valley, combined with the beautiful event space made it a truly special wedding. We also went with West Oaks catering, and were very glad that we did. The catering options were affordably priced, and I received multiple compliments from guests throughout the evening saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. If you are unsure on where to get married, I can confidently say that I highly recommend West Oaks Farm Market!

Levi is a champ!!! He worked with us from afar while we were in Texas trying to select wedding venues. He gave my mother, mother-in-law, and officiant a tour of the facilities and they all reported great things. He then answered my one million questions about the venue very promptly. He is so easy to work with and really goes the extra mile. The venue is beautiful and very well-maintained. It truly has everything you are looking for - getting ready suites, a large indoor space, an outdoor space, rain back-up location, and fireplace. The farm is so scenic and it feels perfectly removed from the business of the city - but is only 10-15 minutes away from downtown Winchester! If all that still doesn’t convince you to choose the West Oaks Farm Market, they have delicious food to offer as well! Local produce, fresh ingredients and more! You can order lunch while you’re getting ready and they cater weddings as well. Finally, Levi worked with us through all the COVID19 craziness. He listened to our concerns and helped us with postponing our wedding and sorting out all the other details. I HIGHLY recommend Levi and the West Oaks venue to all brides and grooms.

West Oaks is absolutely stunning! The view is breathtaking!! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Levi and the crew helped me so much with prepping for my big day. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! My wedding day was perfect!

West Oaks was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had looked at a handful of other local venues but there was always something that wasn’t right, or it was too expensive, or couldn’t accommodate our guest list, etc. It sounds dramatic but when we walked into West Oaks I actually got the chills and grabbed my husband and said “this is the one!” We loved that it was so close to our home and also that it was a newer venue and not somewhere people had attended weddings at dozens of times before. We thought it would be expensive given that it was brand new, but the price was extremely reasonable. We even included some extras such as having our rehearsal dinner there, bartenders at our reception, and an arbor to get married under and even with those the price was less than halfof a lot of other venues. The view is beautiful and the sunset on the property was amazing! We had our ceremony on the patio outside and our reception inside, which was also beautiful. We were wedding planning on a pretty strict budget and one of the things we loved so much about West Oaks was that because it is so beautiful on the inside and outside, we didn’t feel the need to really buy any decorations other than our floral arrangements. The venue had everything we needed- a prep kitchen for our caterers, a spacious bridal suite with full bathroom, a separate place for the groomsmen to get ready...even an extra steamer we could use. They also provided all of our tables and chairs for both the ceremony and reception. ALSO big bonus- all of the wedding party ate a delicious lunch right from their café while we were getting ready. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Some of the girls that worked there even helped my husband and the groomsmen decorate the arbor. We worked closely with Levi and he was so nice and very responsive. He is kind and professional and you can tell he really cares. He had many helpful suggestions and we felt so comfortable and confident our wedding would go smoothly because of him. We loved that it is a local, family-owned business whose passion is apparent in all that they do. I can not recommend West Oaks enough!
