West River House is a lakefront wedding venue in New Braunfels, TX. Set against the backdrop of lake Dunlap and the countryside, this new building provides an elegant ambiance for your celebrations. You and your guests will enter the property through a flower-lined passageway, only to be further welcomed by perennials, palms, and junipers. The main building, which lies beyond the courtyard, features a glass front wall inspired by the river. Undoubtedly, the 25-foot high gable, gallery, and dining area will leave everyone in awe. The Great Room, with its 20-foot floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking the lake, is suited for champagne receptions. West River House can accommodate150 guests, and there is no dearth of sites, both indoor and outdoor, for your event. You can also use any or all four suites on the grounds, which are fully equipped with modern conveniences and amenities. If needed, additional accommodations are available close to the venue. West River House is also home to two laundries, two kitchens, a top-notch sound system, and four independently cabled viewing areas with large screens to do with it what you will. West River House offers several packages to cater to different needs and budgets. They can also provide a wedding planner who will coordinate and work with you closely to bring to life the wedding of your dreams. From the rehearsal dinner to the morning-after brunch and everything in between, you will find the staff extremely reliable and willing to go above and beyond to meet your requests. Vendor referrals can be made, although the venue has an open-vendor policy, encouraging you to choose who gets to be a part of your day. Furthermore, the venue is wheelchair accessible and offers free internet throughout the property.

The photos of this HOUSE are very misleading. This house is tightly fit between 2 residential homes in a private neighborhood. There is zero parking so its very inconvenient to find a spot. All in all, not ideal for parties. Better for a small family wanting to have an expensive Airbnb to rent for the weekend.

Kurt Feick & Linda Ridgeway (Owner) Kurt Feick is from New Canaan, CT and has brought his art collection to West River House. He is the founder and owner of Beagle Tools which manufactures wheelbarrows for the US and European markets. When he's not helping couples fulfill their dream wedding, he probably can be found fly fishing on the Guadalupe River.Linda Ridgeway retired from American Airlines after 34 years of service in the administration department. She has worked at airports in San Diego, Honolulu, Orange County, San Francisco and San Antonio. She also founded a retail store in Honolulu called \"Out of Africa\".
