Since 1928, West Shore Country Club provides Central Pennsylvania with the most glamorous of settings for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our Clubhouse features an exclusive, newly renovated, semi-circular ballroom that can accommodate up to 300 of your closest friends and loved ones. An outdoor, tented Courtyard is also available for outdoor ceremonies and receptions along with banquet rooms for bridal showers, after wedding brunch, and rehearsal dinners. The West Shore Country Club was the perfect place for our wedding! Brittney was absolutely amazing to work with. She was professional, helpful and so supportive during the wedding day as well. The venue is absolutely beautiful and takes care of everything. If you are looking for a one-stop, stress-free shop, this is the perfect place for you! The food was amazing and the service was top notch! I would recommend this venue for any nicer event as they are pros at making a dream even come to life. I couldn't be happier with our choice in the West Shore Country Club!

The West Shore Country Club was the perfect place for our wedding! Brittney was absolutely amazing to work with. She was professional, helpful and so supportive during the wedding day as well. The venue is absolutely beautiful and takes care of everything. If you are looking for a one-stop, stress-free shop, this is the perfect place for you! The food was amazing and the service was top notch! I would recommend this venue for any nicer event as they are pros at making a dream even come to life. I couldn't be happier with our choice in the West Shore Country Club!

We got married 10/14/23 at the West Shore Country Club, and it was amazing. From the day we booked until our actual wedding day, Brittney, their events planner, was phenomenal. She was easy to work with, quick to respond to emails, and helpful in our decision making process. The food at the Country Club was delicious, and all of our guests commented on how good the appetizers, steak, and salmon were. The waitstaff were great, and there was never a line at the bar. The ballroom was recently renovated and is gorgeous.

We got married 10/14/23 at the West Shore Country Club, and it was amazing. From the day we booked until our actual wedding day, Brittney, their events planner, was phenomenal. She was easy to work with, quick to respond to emails, and helpful in our decision making process. I had my wedding at the West Shore Country Club over the weekend. Everything ran smoothly and I was able to enjoy the day knowing Brittney was there to keep things on time. The club has food and alcohol so it was less stress knowing that was all taken care of. I would recommend the club to anyone!

My husband James and I chose WSCC for our wedding in September. We had a great experience and it was the perfect venue for us. We booked the venue about a year and a half in advance. We worked with Brittney after we booked to plan our special day. She was very friendly and professional. A few months before our wedding she planned an event to have a lot of couples come in at once to sample many different food and drink options. She also had tables set up to show some different options. The day of our wedding was wonderful. I would recommend renting the specified rooms to have your bridal parties get ready in. We purchased lunch for our bridesmaids and groomsman, which was a nice added touch. Brittney also set aside golf carts for us, our photographers, and bridal party to go out onto the grounds to take pictures. Everyone loved this and it saved a lot of time. We loved having the ceremony outside in the tent. It was bright and perfect for photos. I’m not sure whose responsibility it was, but nobody ruled out the aisle way, which was the only downfall. The staff at the WSCC worked hard to make the ball room perfect for our reception. The food was amazing and all of our guests raved about it. We also enjoyed our signature drinks!We highly recommend you consider WSCC for your special day.

She went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true from start to finish. The entire night we knew that we could count on her. Having our wedding and reception at the West Shore Country club was the best decision we ever made. Brittney their wedding coordinator was absolutely a dream to work with. She met with me several times throughout the planning process and helped to make any adjustments we needed with guest lists, decor, and menu changes. The food here is amazing and I am still dreaming of the carved turkey we had at our wedding. The ballroom is amazing with a solid dance floor with tables surrounding the entire area instead of one that is laid down as a temporary floor. This made for a perfect romantic set up for our winter wedding. There is a huge area for the ladies to get ready out of sight in the morning which was perfect for our hair and makeup artists to spread out. Everyone is always telling us how wonderful the place was, how amazing our food was, and what an overall great time our wedding was. All thanks to the fantastic staff at the West Shore Country Club.

West Shore Country Club was hands down the best reception venue we could have imagined. We had 200 guests and everyone raved about the food, drinks, service, and beauty. Brittney Wildman was our point of contact and was on top of EVERYTHING. She was incredibly organized during planning and kept us on schedule during the actual reception. She even sent us (the bride and groom) home with goody bags of food we weren't able to eat during the reception and a piece of cake for both of us! She also noticed that I hadn't gotten a chance to eat and a burger and fries magically appeared on our sweetheart table towards the end of the reception. The food was spectacular and our signature drinks were a hit. Our pictures turned out beautifully. We also were surprised when it also turned out to be the most affordable option for our 200 guest wedding in the Harrisburg area. 10/10 recommend. We had an absolute blast.

If my drink ran low id turn around to the amazing Mike who had a new one all ready for my husband and myself. They made our day so amazing everyone said we had the wedding of the year. Beautiful settings for ceremony, photos, reception. A giant room for the bridal party to glam in all day. A private room for the wedding party to enjoy cocktail hour with non stop refills on drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Just a perfect spot for your special day! Very classy! My husband and I chose West Shore Country Club as our reception venue. We live 3 hours away from the WSCC and we were struggling to choose places from such a distance and we found WSCC on the Knot.com. We emailed Alexia to see if we could plan a visit. She was not available for a visit but she was able to find someone else to give us the tour or the venue. We were so excited that we could visit. Upon arriving to the country club, I was overwhelmed with excitement and got goosebumps just walking through. I could see the day I was planning happening there. We picked a date and started planning with the team at West Shore Country Club. I have spent over a year working with Alexia and I felt like I gained another family through the process. I had many questions/ requests/ and demands during the planning and Alexia answered every question and every demand. I wanted our day to be our dream wedding. The day arrived and it was better than I could have ever imagined! Alexia and the reception staff had met every desire, except they made the day better than I had imagined and hoped for. Mike was our guy the whole night and he was on top of everything. He made sure we had what we needed and was right there if there was something we wanted! I think back on our wedding and get overwhelmed with the exceptional experience we had. I miss the WSCC staff that we worked with already and will always remember our time and the family that we became a part of through having our reception at West Shore Country Club!

We had our wedding at the West Shore Country Club this past October. It was awesome. Alexia was very helpful in the planning and keeping us informed. Mike and the wait staff were all very friendly and super helpful. I never got the one server's name but the guy with the dreadlocks was awesome. We got several compliments from the guests on our choice of venue. My only complaint is that my bridesmaids and I were told that we would have someone taking lunch and bar orders while we got ready but no one came to check on us. One of my bridesmaids had to go upstairs to place our orders. I was also under the impression that we would have the room to ourselves. But random members did come into the room while we were getting ready which was also a little weird. Especially since one stepped over my dress to help herself to some snacks. I would recommend taking a look at the greens before the big day to pick out photo sites. There is a bridge that is really nice and great for first looks. I would highly recommend the West Shore Country Club when planning your wedding. As I said everyone is super friendly and helpful and the place is beautiful. And if you want to wrap the poles in the ballroom it is about 2 strings of lights per pole and a great effect. Just an FYI.

We had our wedding on June 29, and it was the most amazing day! Alexia the Director of Catering was awesome! Her knowledge and expertise on how to organize an elegant affair that does not feel rushed but adheres to a timeline that fits your wants/needs is unmatched! The banquet staff and especially Mike catered to my husband and I the entire night. Food was delicious, drinks were great, and the ballroom is so gorgeous! The WSCC was also very cooperative with my vendors including the Florist, Cake Baker, Photographer, and our large wedding party (8 bridesmaids)! I could not have asked for a better wedding day, hands down I highly recommend the West Shore Country Club!!!

We had our wedding on June 29, and it was the most amazing day! Alexia the Director of Catering was awesome! Her knowledge and expertise on how to organize an elegant affair that does not feel rushed but adheres to a timeline that fits your wants/needs is unmatched! The banquet staff and especially Mike catered to my husband and I the entire night. Food was delicious, drinks were great, and the ballroom is so gorgeous! The WSCC was also very cooperative with my vendors including the Florist, Cake Baker, Photographer, and our large wedding party (8 bridesmaids)! I could not have asked for a better wedding day, hands down I highly recommend the West Shore Country Club!!!

She was an absolute pleasure to work with, quickly responding to my endless questions, and offered excellent advice and guidance throughout the entire process. Amber and Mike made the most amazing team to create and execute a most spectacular day for us! The grounds of the WSCC are beautiful! We were able to take multiple golf carts out onto the green with our bridal party and photographer to capture some incredible shots. The ceremony in the covered courtyard and cocktail hour in the Hearth Room were well organized and our guests enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails. The food at the country club is fantastic, which is just one of the reasons we chose them. We knew our guests would enjoy the options they have to offer and we weren’t disappointed. The ballroom looked exactly as I thought it would, elegant, warm, and sophisticated. Our entire day was incredible and beyond our expectations,...we have everyone at the WSCC to thank for helping to make our day so special!

We had our fall wedding ceremony and reception at West Shore Country Club and it was the perfect venue! Alexia was amazing to work with in the year leading up to our big day and was always professional and prompt in her response to my many emails and questions. We appreciated the frequent check-ins and helpfulness during the planning process. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and this is credited to Alexia and her team. We were able to utilize their facilities to get ready there in the morning (they made everything so easy!) and we loved being able to go out on the grounds and golf course for photos—it is such a beautiful venue! The food at the cocktail hour and reception was incredible and the banquet team would frequently check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were so happy that we went with WSCC for our wedding and would definitely recommend the venue to future couples!

We had our fall wedding ceremony and reception at West Shore Country Club and it was the perfect venue! Alexia was amazing to work with in the year leading up to our big day and was always professional and prompt in her response to my many emails and questions. We appreciated the frequent check-ins and helpfulness during the planning process. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and this is credited to Alexia and her team. We were able to utilize their facilities to get ready there in the morning (they made everything so easy!) and we loved being able to go out on the grounds and golf course for photos—it is such a beautiful venue! The food at the cocktail hour and reception was incredible and the banquet team would frequently check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I had my dream wedding at the West Shore Country club in May of this year. The service we had from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. My husband and I worked directly with Brad and Alexia, who made sure every last detail (even the ones we didn't think about) were absolutely perfect. A few highlights that really make this venue stand out are the following --Ability to customize appetizers for no extra charge;-Tent on the patio for summer months (this really helped with the heat on the day of our wedding);-Exceptionally trained bartenders, staff and waiters (I know notice how unprofessional staff is at other weddings compared to ours);-The space itself is absolutely beautiful - it was so great that for the wedding we got the use of all first floor rooms and the outside patio (there were no extra charges per room);-Golf was included as part of our wedding package, so my husband and 10+ of his friends and family were able to golf the day before the wedding;-We were assigned our own personal waiter (as were my parents) to attend to all of our needs throughout the night;-Brad and team already had an existing relationship with most of our vendors, which made the overall planning process very easy; and-We were able to take golf carts out on the golf course to take pictures, which was absolutely beautiful;These are just a few examples of what really stood out to me. After our wedding and still months later, we have received so many complements on how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how much fun our guests had, which truly speaks to the level of service we received and just how beautiful the country club is. In my opinion, this is the best venue in the area and the range of choices we had made it easy to stay within our budget. Thank you Brad, Alexia and Chef Mike!

We didn’t have our reception here, but we tried. We had a really rough experience and wanted to share it to warn others. We first reached out on October 16, 2017 about having a wedding on New Year’s Eve 2019. The director we worked with, Alexia, said she needed to ask permission to hold the event because of the history of a member event on that date. On October 20, 2017, she told us that she spoke with the general manager and that we could hold our reception there. We scheduled a tour, and Alexia cancelled the day before. She said she would email to reschedule as soon as she could. A month after not receiving an email, I reached out and asked about rescheduling. She replied the next day to tell us that they might not be able to accommodate our date any longer and that it was being submitted to the board. About another month later, she told us that the board voted that we could not hold our reception on our desired date. While my fiancé and I are completely understanding of the fact that the date was not able to be accommodated, we wish we hadn’t wasted over two months hoping this could be our reception venue, and we think the club should seriously reconsider Alexia as the contact person for weddings. She was not professional or efficient, and we would certainly not recommend this venue to any of our friends who are getting married as a result of this experience.

The West Shore Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. I always knew that I wanted to have my reception there, and after all is said and done, I would choose it again in a heartbeat. Having an elegant, pull-out-all-the-stops reception is SO EASY at the West Shore. You barely have to lift a finger - my entire (incredible) reception was planned in just one meeting. Alexia was a joy to work with. She really knows what she's doing, and she thinks of everything. I didn't even have to coordinate vendors like DJ, flowers, etc. because she worked directly with them (I found that most, if not all, the vendors I used had worked with the Club before). Alexia even went ahead and rescheduled tent setup for the annual golf tournament so it wouldn't interfere with the ambiance of cocktail hour. Not a single detail was missing. And on the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly! Our waiters were an absolute joy, and they knew just how to serve a formal wedding dinner. They not only made sure that we had everything we needed on a schedule that would allow us to do table visits, they also made all our guests feel welcome and took care of absolutely everything. Conventional wisdom holds that there is always something that goes wrong at your reception, but not a single thing was wrong, misplaced, or forgotten at mine - and full credit for that goes to Alexia and her team at the West Shore Country Club.

Our friends and family had a great time--gorgeous ballroom, delicious food, and beautiful grounds. When the leadership changed, we were a little nervous, but when Brad and Alexia stepped in, our wedding planning experience went to a new level. We didn't want a traditional cookie-cutter country club wedding. So, when we brought up wanting a nacho bar and chicken and waffles as appetizers, we were worried if the execution would be as fun as we wanted. It wasn't-it was more! Prompt communication, eagerness to work together, and constant flexibility are just a few highlights of this team. Completely an incredible experience.

For our wedding, we worked with Steve Hanawalt, who was the consummate professional, handling everything from coordinating with other vendors to helping us move to the right places on our wedding day, even making sure we got enough to eat at our reception. I cannot recommend him and the Country Club more highly- everyone had an incredible time and we could not have asked for an easier or more stress-free wedding planning experience.

The coordinator Steve, was very helpful and was always two steps (or more) ahead of me (in what to do, or needed to be done). They helped me through everything, including every single detail, big and small!! So I did not need to worry about things being done, or if I forgot to think of something ect... because he was making sure everything was covered. Not to mention the food was delicious, and beautiful!!!! And the personalized ice sculpture was part of the package and it was a great touch! And the place itself is beautiful all on its own! You don't need many decorations because it's already so pretty!!!
