Autumn Handin(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2022 “This is the best wedding we’ve EVER been to!!” is what we heard continuously throughout the night from our guests. To start, we cannot thank Christina Materese’Deason enough for everything she did to make the process so easy and our wedding day so magical. She is truly passionate about her work and goes above and beyond to make sure your event is everything you want. Starting from the tour, she was friendly, organized, and professional. It was obvious she knew what she was doing, which made us feel confident in our choice. Westchester Country Club is absolutely breathtaking. The inside decor, gazebo area, golf course, and reasonable pricing made it a simple decision for my husband and I. Throughout the planning process, I emailed and called Christina with hundreds of questions over the past year, usually around 20 at a time. She always emailed or called me back quickly and answered all of my questions seamlessly. The planning process was so much less stressful, knowing I could count on her to respond quickly. She easily accommodated my requests and allowed us to set up in a timely manner. Christina continued to be easygoing and flexible with my requests and crazy family during the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Ralph, our Maitre D’ at our rehearsal dinner and wedding, was fantastic! He was attentive, and quick to make adjustments and answer any questions. The Westchester staff was great too! They were also attentive, quick, and helpful! Our wedding was absolutely stunning! The venue was exactly what I asked for and looked better than I could’ve imagined. My husband and I are so incredibly grateful for everyone at Westchester, especially Christina, for making our rehearsal dinner and wedding so perfect!!! Reviewed on 15-07-2022

Alexi Rivera(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-11-2018 My husband and I looked at many vendors online before deciding where to tour in person. This was the first place we went to look at and we were immediately in love with the place. In addition the wedding coordinator we met, Christina Materese, made us feel great about everything. She was so reassuring and helped me feel less stressed. I keep saying it and I’ll stick to it but Christina is what truly sold me on this venue. It was very important for me to find a nice outdoor area for the ceremony and a great indoor area for the reception. I knew I didn’t want a reception hall that was overly themed and would clash with my vision. This reception hall is so elegant and beautiful without carrying its own theme over your vision. The outdoor area was so nice and tucked in. The gazebo was beautiful for pictures and it all came together so perfectly. The food was incredible too! We got to do a tasting and we were so excited to get to eat the delicious food again at our wedding! All of our guests were very happy with the food.Christina’s staff worked very hard and did so much to help us the day of the wedding, as well as leading up to it. They were very attentive and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.We were so much more than happy with our choice! The wedding was everything we wanted and more. Reviewed on 11-01-2019

We can not thank Melanie, Christina, Ralph, and the rest of the team at Westchester Country Club for making my dream wedding become a reality! The venue is already beautiful, but they set up everything I wanted so perfectly, and they made sure everything went smoothly! They were so accommodating and always there to answer any and all questions I had. The food was also amazing! Booking them was the best decision! Highly recommend! Reviewed on 22-11-2017

From the selection of decorations, the choice for food, and expertise goes a long way. The day of the wedding went smooth and I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Everyone loved the food, people can't stop talking about the finger food during cocktail hour, the main dish etc. the bride suite was gorgeous and very spacious. The staff very courteous and attentive. I wouldn't have it any other way. If you are the type of person that wants a wedding well organized and timeline to be precise, you would love this place. It was so clean....like I said, words can't describe how excited that I chose this place to have my wedding. And it's affordable. Reviewed on 14-04-2015

Our wedding could not have been any better than i could have imagined. Everything I had visioned was brought to life. All of our guests had a great time and raved on and on about the great service, food, etc. Paola was just so friendly and was usually available to answer any questions or concerns I had. We had originally planned on having an outdoor ceremony, but when it started to rain they had a backup plan. Everything moved forward without a hitch. Our matre'd Manny was so awesome! Abigail Plummer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-07-2013 It is funny because my parents bought their first house in a community in Westchester but we had moved out years ago. After I got engaged, my Mom and I were running errands and passed by Westchester Country Club when my Mom suggested we stop by just to see. I was greeted by Paola who graciously showed me around even though I didn't have an appointment. After that, we made a formal appointment to talk pricing, etc. and the rest is history!\r\rI did look at several other venues in the area but selected Westchester Country Club based on the value, location, and Paola, the Banquet Manager. I chose the all-inclusive package which included food, alcohol, chairs, tax, gratuity, wedding cake, champagne toast for all guests, and basic linens. This made my life SO much easier - I didn't have to coordinate with vendors to arrange rentals and delivery. In addition to making my life easier by choosing the all-inclusive package, Paola knows lots of vendors and made some great recommendations. I was able to set-up my room blocks for guests at local hotels with her contacts and also ordered my cake through a local baker she referred me to. \r\rPaola and I met (along with my Mom and sisters) multiple times prior to the wedding and she kept me on track for planning which was really nice. I was able to drop off items the Wednesday prior to the wedding (place cards, table numbers, etc.) and then I had NO worries the rest of the week!\r\rTo say my Wedding Reception was beautiful and perfect is an understatement. Paola truly took all my ideas and made them a reality. I was moved to tears by how beautiful the room looked and how great her staff (especially Manny, the Maitre D') were. My husband and I were treated like royalty - food and drinks fed to us all night long. They also offer a private Bridal Room for bridesmaids and myself to leave our personal items and it has a private bathroom - PERFECT! The food was delicious - especially the coconut shrimp and mac spoons at the cocktail hour! We offered the maple brown sugar glaze salmon and the chicken asiago as main entrees. Guests raved about both dishes! The cake was delicious and Westchester even decorated each plate with chocolate sauce. At the end of the night, Paola and her staff helped us execute a perfect send-off complete with sparklers!\r\rI highly recommend Westchester Country Club to anyone looking to host a formal event. Paola and Manny are excellent and will take care of all your wants and needs. I can't thank them enough for helping to make my wedding day one of the best days of my life! Reviewed on 28-07-2013

I attended a wedding here last summer and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. It should tell you something that after this much time I still want to write a review it must of been that bad. I was really looking forward to the dinner, I was told it was going to be chicken parm and a encrusted piece of fish. I love at weddings when you get get dual plates. It gives you some options so you don't regret when you see other peoples meal at the table what you ordered. This dual plate was horrible, the chicken was way over cooked. I even asked for a steak knife and had a hard time cutting through it. It was practically inedible! So I move onto the fish then realize the fish isn't cooked, I mean not just slightly undercooked, like they forget to put it in the oven undercooked. The fish was like that on everyone else at the table. I brought it to the attention of the server and they brought it back to the kitchen and cooked it. Twenty minutes later the fish is cooked, but at this point I'm just completely disgusted. Meanwhile it seems that no ones fish in the whole wedding is cooked. I was expecting the staff to do something about it but they were only cooking plates of people who requested it. So the majority of the wedding just didn't eat the fish. How can a restaurant get away with this, they should of taken every plate back into the kitchen and fixed it. Throughout the night I couldn't get one refill on my water and after dessert I was finally able to get coffee after flagging someone down but that was it one cup and no more. How can these people get away with this, undercooked and over cooked food, no water refills, and one cup of coffee. This isn't what you expect when going to a wedding. Anytime one of my friends mentions they are going to make an appointment, I tell them my story and they are horrified. So I thought I would share it with the world so another bride doesn't get their wedding ruined. BTW, after the reception a large group ended up having to go to a restaurant after because we were so hungry from not being able to eat at the reception. Reviewed on 20-03-2012
Mariana Borges(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-12-2011 I chose Westchester Country Club as my wedding venue unseen- my parents saw it while I was away at school and could not say enough about how pretty the ballroom was. So I trusted their opinion, and I'm so glad I did. The ballroom truly is beautiful, but even better than that is the spectacular service. When we had to postpone our date, the banquet manager was nothing but helpful. And when we had a problem with one of our other vendors 2 days before the wedding, she called the company and had it resolved that same day. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The servers were excellent, the maitre d' brought me a glass of wine as soon as I sat down, and the ballroom just looked impeccable. I was worried about our flowers, because they were a little wilted the morning of the wedding. My father drove them to the venue and told the maitre d' about my concerns. He watched over those flowers as if they were his children and watered them meticulously. The food was delicious- we got many compliments on it, and all 150 of our guests were served at an efficient pace. Overall, this was a great place, very well-run and easy to work with, and I'm more than satisfied with the result. Reviewed on 21-01-2012
Jeremie Wade(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-11-2011 Overall it was excellent! The food was delicious. The banquet manager was a pleasure to work with. Everything I needed she was there to take care of! The only thing that is stopping me from rating this 5 stars is that there weren't enough tables and no champagne was served, you had to ask for it. But as I said overall it was excellent and it was the wedding of my dreams! Reviewed on 28-11-2011
Lidia Bolander(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2010 We had such a pleasant experience at Westchester Country Club. Our event coordinator, Shannon, was so helpful! We were in touch with the via email most of the time and she was very nice, responded super fast to million of our questions and she always seemed to be happy to help and advise when we were not sure about something.\rThe venue itself was wonderful. Quality of service was outstanding. The place is very affordable, considering what is included (all taxes, service fees and gratuities). We knew exactly how much will the entire event cost and there was no surprises at the end. The food was delicious. We received so many compliments about the food and the service. All our guests loved it! The venue also provides linens (table cloths, napkins, chair covers, sashes etc.). They have very wide color selection, therefore, everyone can find something that will match with their wedding decor. The venue sets up the ballroom and they do it exactly the way you design it. Shannon sent us a floor plan in Power Point format and we were able to set up the room exactly the way we wanted. Our cake was also part of the package. The venue uses Publix Bakery, which at first, we didn't like the idea, however, it turned out to be great! We just sent Shannon a picture of our desired cake with color instructions and make our flavor selection and that was it! \rWe also used their optional gazebo area for the ceremony. There is an additional fee, but it's a very nice, private and quiet place - just perfect! Since we had many guests flying in from overseas, who didn't know the area, we decided that it would be much easier for EVERYONE to keep everything in one location. The venue sets everything up. Our florist decorated the gazebo, and everything looked very romantic. The gazebo area, as well as the rest of the country club is very well kept. We had taken many pictures by the gazebo and out in the golf course and they turned out beautiful!\rI would highly recommend Westchester Country Club to anyone! Reviewed on 29-10-2010
Shalane Yacovone(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-06-2010 Shannon, the day of planner was amazing. They're very helpful and accommodating. The gazebo outside was very nice, but it was full of bugs the day we got married. The food was just ok. The previous chef got fired a week before the wedding, so maybe once the new one has more time, the meals will turn out better. It's pretty cheap, compared to a lot of the places in the area, and there are a lot of cool places to take photos out in the golf course. Reviewed on 17-08-2010
Lori Dolan(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-11-2010 Absolutely dreadful. We were supposed to have our wedding & reception here, and thank GOD we have chosen a much better place. In a nutshell, they scheduled our tasting at night, during a wedding in progress. That's right. I walked in to see a bridesmaid cross in front of me. The food was horrible; not only was it inedible (we were served that wedding's cold leftover steak), the new (very disorganized and borderline rude) sales girl told us the hors d'ouevres she served us were nearly 2 hours old. Why even give it to us?? I tried in vain to contact the so-called banquet manager, who I believe is probably on her way out. No response. The general manager is completely unprofessional, rude and had the nerve to be sarcastic and way out of line about my wedding: He told me the one going on was more \"upscale\" than ours would have been. Oh yes, the smoking, barefoot bridesmaid standing outside was true class. But I'm not going to knock someone else's tastes. I will, however, warn every bride and groom and their families and friends about this horrendous place. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Reviewed on 28-06-2010

When I was researching different places to have it, as soon as I walked into this place I knew I wanted to have it there. I had a room set up for my cocktail hour and a different room for my reception. Everything was perfect. The best part is, since I booked both rooms, I had the entire place for my wedding.;The only thing that I have to complain about is they were not completely set up when my guests started to arrive. We also had a chocolate fountain that was included in our package that came out too late and they should have made an annoucement so the guests new it was there. A lot of people did not realize they brought it out. Reviewed on 10-05-2010

The food was great everybody loved it! The pictures at the gazebo turned out great!;One of the reasons why we chose this venue was because the lady who was going to take care of our wedding was very nice and helpful. Later on we found out she was not working there anymore and the director who took over was not helpful. For instance after we went through the details of the wedding in advance he called me an hour before the ceremony to ask me who was sitting at each table! He was not a professional person to deal with. At the end the ceremony and reception turned out nice but dealing with their staff was frustrating. Reviewed on 21-09-2008
