My son and his lovely wife were married at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in October 2023. I hosted the rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Rachel Thompson was our event planner and she was wonderful! She respected my budget and guided me through the process even though I was in another state on the East Coast. When I called her about concerns, she was responsive and calming. Throughout the whole wedding weekend, our family and guests experienced top-notch service from check out to check in. Each and every meal was delicious with attentive servers and captains. They went above and beyond! I would encourage anyone who is looking at this venue for any occasion to put it at number one on their list!

Everything we wanted and more! We had our wedding here in the peak of fall and could not have had a better experience. My daughter and her husband got married at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon on September 16, 2023. What an incredibly beautiful wedding venue! The entire weekend was simply magical. The Westin has it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, to luxurious facilities, not to mention the stunning views. We had the ceremony on The Westin ceremony lawn, the cocktail hour on the terrance behind the ceremony lawn, and the reception in the ballroom behind the terrace. It was so nice to have everything at one location, so guests didn't have to travel or we didn't have to arrange transportation from the ceremony to the reception. Guests were in awe of the view (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), how fantastic the food was, and how every detail was perfectly executed. Rachel, the Westin's The Catering Sales and Event Manager, is wonderful - so kind, thoughtful, and well organized. And, Sally Corcoran made reserving a room block for our guests really easy. If you are looking for a Colorado mountain wedding with beautiful views and a wonderful venue with excellent food and staff, we would highly recommend The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa.

WOW!!! My husband and I got married on 08/12/2023 at The Westin, and we had the absolute best time. It was an entire weekend of celebration. Rachel, who is The Westin'sThe Catering Sales and Event Manager was terrific. She was our primary contact in planning the weekend and our wedding. She had the best recommendations and made planning each event held at the Westin a seamless task. We kicked off Friday, 08/11/2023, with a welcome party in the Osprey Room, where the space was incredible. This room could fit 100-150 guests; We also used the outdoor space for cornhole and ladder ball for the guests who wanted to play something. We were able to customize the food and alcohol served for our guests, and I would recommend the Charcuterie and cheese board! After our welcome party, we had our rehearsal on the ceremony lawn at 4 pm; Rachel was there to help guide the bridal party and our other wedding coordinator for the best entrance and timing of everything. On our wedding day, since the Westin did not have a bridal suite, Rachel had suggested the Osprey room again for the bridesmaids and me to get ready, where we had done our hair and makeup. There was breakfast, coffee, tea, and a mimosa bar set up for us for the morning. Talk about luxury! From a bride's perspective, the room had beautiful lighting for pictures and just an overall dramatic background. I felt like an absolute queen. The groom and groomsmen had a breakfast set up similar to ours in the groom's room with a beer bar. The day flew by too quickly, but everything about our wedding day was beautiful, peaceful, and lovely. There are many great places to get photos done; the service was terrific, and the food was THE best. We even got to rent a ping-pong table for our wedding for our guests to play, which was a big hit. We had our ceremony on the ceremony lawn, then cocktai lhour on the terrance behind the ceremony lawn, then our reception in the ballroom behind the terrace. Knowing our guests did not have to travel a far ways to enjoy our big day helped decrease the stress of the day. If you're wanting a mountain wedding with beautiful views and a wonderful venue with excellent food and staff. I would HIGHLY recommend having all of your wedding festivities at The Westin, They have everything that you would want and are very accommodating. Booking rooms through the room block was super easy thanks to Sally Corcoran. We have had many guests who attended our wedding, come to my husband and I to compliment us on our wedding. Having your wedding here will create memories for years to come!

Sally on the room booking side was so calm, patient and organized as she worked her magic with room placement and reservations. NOT ONE COMPLAINT FROM OUR GUESTS. Rachel, who assisted us on the catering side was professional and saw to every detail. She listened to us and heard us. We scheduled two meals, one formal Friday night white cloth table service the second a cocktail/dinner buffet reception and they both went off without a hitch. The presentation was beautiful and the food tasted great and was plentiful. They even accommodated our spontaneous silent ecstatic dance party on the lawn …..in the rain….If you are searching for a wedding venue, look no further - Weston Avon is the spot.

The two uniquely different room setups, excellent service and delicious food far exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for two more perfect events, and we credit the Westin's Event Planner, Rachel Thompson for the tremendous amount of time she spent with us in planning, as well as her dedication and adherence to detail. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure that both evenings were exactly as we had envisioned. Perfect day! We booked our wedding (outdoor ceremony/ indoor reception) at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa for May 2023. It was an excellent decision from the start. We couldn’t be happier with the selection of this venue. The location is everything that beautiful Colorado Mountains offer, and it’s a breathtaking area with the riverfront and mountain view’s. Our wedding ceremony was hosted out on the terrace with the CO wilderness as our backdrop. The weather was unbelievable and the esthetics of this venue were great. The hotel itself is amazing and had everything we were looking for in one place to include the lodging, pool, restaurant/bar and stellar spa. Our guests really enjoyed the stay, and enjoyed the food provided on site. They were even able to do our wedding cake! The best part was our amazing event coordinator, Rachel Thompson! I was so enamored by her kindness, professionalism and her willingness to ensure that our event was perfectly organized. She took the time and really understood the assignment. She is keen on the details and really took such great care of us in preparation for and upon our special day. Rachel is truly on a level above the rest and provided us a genuinely wonderful time celebrating our wedding day with our friends and family. I highly recommend working with Rachel to plan the wedding day of your dreams in a location that delivered it all. We had nothing less than raving compliments from our guests on the event location, their stay, the spa and restaurant/bar. These days, and I know most people have recognized this, it’s hard to find good service and value for your money. The entire experience was excellent because of the staff that worked hard to make our event successful. When it matters, you need competent people who care about what they provide and I am confident that this venue could handle any important event. We have such gratitude for Rachel and the staff at the Westin Riverfront for everything they did for us and our guests.

Lauren Mackintosh, Westin Event Coordinator, was wonderful to work with and she was great with communication all throughout the process. I highly recommend this location for your wedding!!

I can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue for a wedding or event! Beth Olson our wedding coordinator at the Westin was an absolute dream to work with! Her calm, kind, and professional demeanor made planning a wedding incredibly easy!! My fiancé and I met at this venue, and to have our wedding here was an absolute dream! The aspens were bright gold, and the temperature was perfect! Our out of town guest were blown away by the beauty! Also Tabby at the front desk was amazing! Anything we needed she made happen! Thanks to all of the staff at the Westin for making our wedding dreams come true!! We love you!!

Fairy tale wedding. The mountains make the perfect backdrop to make all your guests feel like they’re in a very special place, and on vacation! They practically gasp when they walk into the lobby. The staff thinks through everything you need, and they are present and available to you. The food was great, the bar line never backed up and Beth and Ryan’s teams are here to make your day perfect. You will love it!!

As a local of Avon, Colorado, I knew I had great choices in reception venues. However, because my husband and I met at the Westin years ago, we thought it would be special to have our reception here. Boy, were we right!Beth Olson and her staff made sure no stone went unturned. We had many questions and requests, and Beth saw to it that everything was clearly addressed and carried out perfectly.We had more people comment that our reception was one of the best and most fun receptions they had ever attended...this includes hotel guests who commented on the \"fun party\" they heard going on downstairs. They said they were extremely tempted to crash, ha!The venue is so beautiful and diverse, with an expansive lobby area outside the ballroom, a large ballroom with floor to ceiling windows, an enchanting (and spacious) patio with bistro lights and a wedding lawn...all overlooking the Eagle River and Beaver Creek. What more could you want?!We had passed and stationed appetizers and everyone was raving about the food. They made sure to accommodate our bar requests, specifically, locating and offering a specific bourbon, that my Kentucky-raised father was adamant about. Beth Olson was patient, fun and offered great insight and advice. We were thrilled to come to our complimentary wedding night suite to see a chilled bottle of champagne from her. That was the icing on the cake to an incredible wedding, we and our families/guests will NEVER forget!Thank you, team Westin!

Our wedding reception at Maya restaurant in the Westin was absolutely perfect. Lauren Mackintosh was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and was a fantastic day-of coordinator. The views are beautiful and all of the amenities at the hotel make it a perfect wedding location. I was able to have my hair and makeup done by the hotel spa, and the wedding party and all of our guests enjoyed staying there.

Jessica Gillespie was absolutely awesome when it came to day of planning. The entire event staff was obviously very experienced in event execution. Very fluid and synced with each other and with our vendors. Food was awesome and open bar was perfect. My only caution regarding the hotel specifically is that Jessica manages several dozen weddings per season and while that inspires a lot of confidence regarding her knowledge base, it does mean that she is very busy. It took us a little nudging to get in touch with her over email to iron out details in the weeks leading up to the event. I will also advise that if you have guests staying at the hotel, get regular room reports from Jessica to see who's booked into which rooms. Everyone must book through central reservations to get the reduced rate, and they made several significant errors with our guests reservations that my fiancé and I only caught because we looked. They also booked another wedding's guest into our room block. Overall though, I would absolutely recommend The Westin. They took care of so much for us that the wedding was a breeze and the day was perfectly executed.

Fabulous venue!! After considering several venues for my daughter's May 30th wedding, we chose the Riverfront Westin and could not have been happier! This is a first class resort with lots of on-site amenities (heated salt-water pool, infinity hot tubs, restaurants, spa, salon and workout room) for your guests to enjoy! The convenience of having the wedding at the venue where everyone was staying was also a big plus. No one had to drive anywhere and at the end of the night, they just had to take the elevators up to their rooms. We worked with Beth Olson, the event manager. who helped us work out all of the details and is your day-off coordinator. She was such a pleasure to work with and it was so reassuring knowing she was handling all of the details, especially on the day of the wedding! The ceremony was outdoors on their wedding lawn with the river and mountains as a backdrop. It was absolutely gorgeous! Cocktail hour was on their private patio just above the wedding lawn and directly outside of the ballroom. The ballroom has floor to ceiling windows that look at the mountains and doors that open up onto the patio. With the help of our florist, Rose Braden, the ballroom space was absolutely beautiful! The size of the dance floor was perfect and allowed plenty of room for dancing. The food was superb and the pastry chef did a fantastic job with the wedding cake. I had several guests confess to having more than one piece of cake! I also have to mention that the entire staff at the Westin could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to us and our guests. Everyone had a fabulous time and I can not thank them enough for making our daughter's wedding perfect in every way!!

I live in Eagle County, Colorado, and have been in love with the Westin Riverfront since the day they opened. The decor is mountain chic, with rustic accents everywhere, high ceilings, and tons of windows. This place does not even remotely feel like a hotel. It is truly a breathtaking venue. Since day one, Meredith Brewer, Events Manager, was CONSTANTLY in touch with me about everything. She took the time and effort to address every question, comment, or overwhelming concern I had. She took my vision and made it reality. She gave honest opinions, recommendations, and was never pushy. We got married outside on the wedding lawn, right by the river. Gorgeous. 3 steps took us up to our private, reserved, patio for cocktails and appetizers. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows/doors was the reception hall. But this is no ordinary reception hall that feels/looks typical. It's decorated with natural greens and browns. With tables full of flowers, it was warm and inviting. The food was RIDICIOUSLY good. We got so many comments on how nice it was to not eat \"wedding food\". The desserts were over the top. The wine was quality as was the beer. The staff at the Westin did everything. All I had to do was say what I wanted, and where I wanted it, and it happened. We didn't have to set up chairs, spread favors, move presents.... there was literally no stress on my part. If you are even considering getting married here, stop. Stop considering and just do it. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it 100% the exact same way that we did. Having a wedding at the hotel,THIS HOTEL, was one of the best decisions we made. Also, having it be a hotel was perfect, since we didn't have to worry about lost guests, people driving after drinking, or giving out directions. 100% perfect. Could not be more happier. Meredith was a life saver. She is amazing. Perfect.
