We had our wedding here in May and we are so happy with how everything turned out!! The venue is beautiful! Jessica was so helpful from day one. The day went smoothly and the staff was wonderful. We are so happy we had our wedding here. Jessica was helpful, through, and was on top of everything to help our planning and wedding day wonderful! I absolutely recommended!!

Wetherington was the perfect venue to have our wedding reception at. From the help of Jessica to the amazing food and service, we couldn't have asked for a better venue! Jessica was there to help us every step of the way. Even if she wasn't available, we always felt taken care of. They are so unbelievably organized, which definitely places a bride's anxiety at ease as well. The food is absolutely delicious! Our guests could not say enough amazing things about the food and also table service during the reception. Everything was absolutely seamless. I would definitely recommend Wetherington to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Wetherington was the perfect venue to have our wedding reception at. From the help of Jessica to the amazing food and service, we couldn't have asked for a better venue! My wedding was beautiful however the venue allowed the drunk golfers to access the dressing rooms when we were trying to get ready. The venue also allowed golfers to continue playing during our outdoor golf course ceremony and continuing serving their LOUD guests at their outdoor bar. The golfers were rude to myself, the wedding party and my guests. Dealing with these golfers made my day miserable. The fact that the venue allows this is unfortunate and disappointing.

We had my daughters wedding and reception at Wetherington Country Club and it was the best decision in all of our wedding planning. Simply said, the service was professional yet personal and the venue and property were absolutely gorgeous. Ashley and Jessica were prompt and thorough in communicating throughout the entire planning process and always so kind. The servers took great care of our guest and the food was phenomenal. We loved the Slow Roasted Tenderloin of Beef and the Panko Crusted Chicken.I highly recommend this venue!

All of our guests complimented us all night on how amazing the food was and that the venue was beautiful. Ashley and Jessica did a great job to make everything go smoothly for our wedding day. They made sure to check in with me and gave great advice! To sum this review up, book Wetherington Country Club for your wedding and you won't regret it!

Wetherington went above and beyond for what we could have imagine for our wedding! Both Jessica and Ashley are attentive, caring, and very professional. The venue is beyond beautiful. Loved that we could have our ceremony and reception there with (200 people invited) 150 that attended. The price point is great for what you get. The food was excellent and the servers were very sweet. Love that you can also get ready for your big day at the venue starting at 9am- made our lives easy. If you are thinking of getting married here, this is your sign!

They were easy to work with and very accommodating of all of our special requests. The food and service was spectacular!! Ashley and Jessica are the absolute best! They were so easy to work with and really nailed down any details or special requests we had. We had both our ceremony and reception at Wetherington, and the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments on the venue itself, the food, and the service! Not to mention, it was super easy to book a room block & shuttle service through their hotel partner - which was only a 5 minute drive away! We could go on & on about how much we loved Wetherington, but we would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue!

We picked Wetherington for our reception because it was the whole package: stunning venue with nice picture locations, reasonable pricing, and good staffing per table. We should have known it was too good to be true. Since this is the first wedding either of us had planned we had no idea what to expect. We got a complimentary tasting which we were excited about, but did not realize they do one large group tasting a year in January or February with all of the couples. Since our wedding was in April we wanted something earlier so that we could get our RSVP cards out to our guests. They tried to accommodate but the times did not work out so we decided we would just do the big tasting event. Not long after we decided, we got an email saying the prices were increasing (just over 4 months before our wedding). The reasoning was that they had a new chef with a whole new menu (the menu changed slightly, but not worth the significant price increase in our opinion). We were left with no other choice but to stay at that point and deal with the increase in prices. We had already printed our invitations and made the arrangements. Unfortunately, the contract for the venue states pricing is subject to change, so we were stuck. Fast forward to the day of the event. The venue was beautiful, but we were not happy with the quality of service we received, especially at the price we paid.-They did not have the staffing per table as promised.-The staff also never checked in on us during cocktail hour. We were standing at the front in the welcome line, so we were not able to walk around and find the appetizers ourselves. We were lucky to get any of the appetizers, and that was only because one of the bridesmaids happened to ask if we had any yet.-We had several guests tell us after the reception that the servers had cleared the dinner plates before they were done eating, while they were away getting drinks.-On the other hand the mother of the bride had to ask them to clear her table because no one had done it well after they were already clearing others. -Many guests told us they didn't get to try the chocolate cake, even though we were sent home with a whole layer of uncut chocolate cake (apparently we had to specify that we wanted both flavors cut, not just one flavor at a time). This was also disappointing because of how much we had paid for the cake. The venue was great, but the events leading up to the wedding were very frustrating and difficult. It's expected that not everything will go perfectly as planned, but to hear that even our guests noticed the shortfall of the reception service was upsetting to say the least considering the price we paid.

Our experience at the Wetherington was phenomenal. Ashley and Jessica were incredible to work with from the start of wedding planning through the day of our wedding. Their communication was great, and on the day of the wedding the entire Wetherington staff was right there with us every step of the way. They checked on us while we were getting ready, were there to answer any and all set up questions we had, fixed my veil and dress as I walked down the aisle, and they were incredibly attentive to us and our guests throughout the entire ceremony and reception. I think everyone should get married at the Wetherington! We had an amazing experience!

Our son's wedding reception at Wetherington was beyond expectations on many levels, some of which we thought would be nice to recognize specifically:First and foremost, the Steaks were fantastic. We had multiple attendees tell us it was one of the best filets they have ever had. The steaks were perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared to a medium doneness, and they were served hot! The breaded chicken was also very good, as was the Asparagus.The service was predictably excellent. They were to a person, fantastic at this event. They executed as a team throughout the night. They treated everyone as though they were the most important people they had ever served... it was truly impressive. The bride and groom are so happy. The entire experience was way above their expectations. They are still smiling at the success they feel from the event. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking a high class, reasonably priced venue for a wedding and reception to consider Wetherington.

The Wetherington was recommended to us by a friend who was getting married the same year, but when me, and my now husband, saw how beautiful the venue was in person, we knew we had to book for our 2020 wedding. Although we had to reschedule due to Covid, for September of 2021, we knew we'd have the wedding we both dreamed of. The gorgeous staircase leading to lovely greenery out back, made for a breathtaking outdoor ceremony! Not to mention, the inside for the reception looked amazing, and Ashley was very helpful in answering all of our questions and the rest of the staff on the big night were very accommodating as well. The only thing I would say, with the cost of having such an amazing wedding at this venue, it would have been nice if they would have provided us a bottle of champagne and not had my bridesmaids buy it for us before the ceremony, just saying. But would recommend for sure.

The Clubhouse and Grounds are stunning as is. With little touches here and there, the main ballroom became the perfect backdrop (with AC - must for hot July) for both the ceremony and reception. While we set out a few small items like the gift table and table numbers, the Club took care of the rest, including the room flip itself. The servers and bartenders that night were extremely professional and went above and beyond to make sure every guest had an incredible time. The amount of table service we received is extremely rare to find at any other venue - coming from someone who works in the industry. We are still receiving so many compliments from our guests on how great everything was (especially the food)! Wish we could go back and live it again!

Wetherington is the best. I booked my June 2021 wedding back in October 2019 and I have nothing but amazing things to say. Ashley is the absolute best day of coordinator. She kept me updated with everything COVID related, and she was so easy to contact. If I emailed, she responded within 10 minutes. In the six months leading up to the wedding, I probably emailed or called her at least twice a week and she was so patient, sweet, and informative. Ashley truly cares about her brides and their guests having the best day ever. Close to 100% of our guests complimented us on the choice of venue, food, and service. Everyone was so impressed with the cocktail servers. If you are looking for a seamless, easy wedding experience, go to Wetherington. You absolutely will not regret it.

This venue!!! Not only is it beautiful but the staff were so amazing. All of our guests were raving about great service and food. Ashley had great vendor recommendations and gracefully handled all of the day of chaos so I was completely stress free and enjoying my big day. She got back to me so quick about questions I had and helped so much with the wedding process. She kept us on schedule for the rehearsal and wedding day. If we had it to do all over again we would still choose Wetherington! As MOB I can tell you it definitely met all of our needs. It was perfect, for both the outdoor ceremony and reception this past September. Everything was so clean, and nicely appointed. While the space does not require a lot of additional decorating they do allow you to add your own personal touch. Loved the area for the bridal party to get ready and the setting was beautiful for pictures. FOOD WAS FABULOUS and, their Director of Events (Ashley) ensured EVERYTHING ran smoothy. This venue was absolutely beautiful and we were blown away by the staff. Ashley and the whole Wetherington team will go above and beyond to make your wedding perfect. Ashley was so helpful throughout the whole process and really has your best interests at heart. The serving staff were so friendly and took such great care of us and our guests. We had only booked our photographer for part of the evening and the waiters volunteered to take photos of our sparkler exit. They also took great care to run and get a plate for a guest that arrived late. We were blown away by the service provided throughout the entire evening. The food was absolutely delicious - we had so many compliments on the dishes. It rained on our wedding day and the venue was still amazing. The Wetherington has bridal party prep areas with plenty of light and great lunch options and the large windows gave us such a great ambiance. Not much decorating is needed in such a fantastic space. We could not have chosen a better staff or venue to handle our wedding reception. I highly recommend the Wetherington.

Not once was I stressed leading up to the wedding because even if the weather ended up terrible they have an amazing indoor option, and even when a random storm popped up right in time for our Ceremony Ashley and the team worked their magic to bump up the ceremony and work with all the arriving guests to make our outdoor ceremony work out great and be one that no one will forget! As a bride I could have easily been super stressed but not once was I stressed. Ashley literally took care of everything, she set up everything for us so we didn't have to lift a finger! Wetherington is absolutely stunning and even the photographer and videographer made comments on how pretty the location is! The food and drinks were amazing, the late night munchies were a hit, and everything turned out perfect! I could not have asked for a more perfect and beautiful ceremony and reception and working with Ashley made the whole day completely stress free and amazing!

We had our daughter’s wedding at Wetherington in September 2018. It was absolutely wonderful, I can’t think of anything I would’ve changed!I love everything about Wetherington! The entrance is so picturesque! We had some of the most beautiful pictures taken at the entrance! We were so glad for a covered entrance as we did have some rain that day. The grounds are so nicely landscaped with wonderful views! And the parking is very convenient, with a drop off Area if needed.The interior is just beautiful with all the windows, the many Outdoor patio areas, the beautiful tables and upholstered chairs, the large bar area, the designated areas for the dance floor, DJ, cake, photo booth, gift table, etc. The locker rooms used for getting ready were large and spacious; the bride and groom enjoyed getting ready and having lunch with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Both our daughter and our son-in-law spent most of the day at Wetherington, from early in the morning getting ready to their send off at the end of the evening!The food was delicious, we received many compliments from our guests! The servers and the bartenders were most attentive to our needs! And most importantly, it was a true pleasure to work with Ashley and the entire staff at Wetherington! As stated above, I don’t think we could have asked for anything better! We loved our reception at Wetherington! Thank you to all!

The perfect venue for both your ceremony and reception. The wedding coordinator has it down to a beautiful science. The clubhouse has the country club atmosphere minus the stuffiness. The space is roomy but intimate. The chef is exceptional. The vaulted ceilings make for ideal ceremony acoustics and musical sound. The dance floor can accommodate even the largest of parties. And the pre-wedding preparation space for the wedding party is quite fitting for the occasion; spacious and luxurious. My wife and I highly recommend Wetherington!

The perfect venue for both your ceremony and reception. The wedding coordinator has it down to a beautiful science. The clubhouse has the country club atmosphere minus the stuffiness. The space is roomy but intimate. The chef is exceptional. The vaulted ceilings make for ideal ceremony acoustics and musical sound. The dance floor can accommodate even the largest of parties. And the pre-wedding preparation space for the wedding party is quite fitting for the occasion; spacious and luxurious. My wife and I highly recommend Wetherington!

From the “wow factor” driving up, to the elegant, spacious interior, my husband and I couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. The property is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel grand driving up to it and going inside. The venue is naturally decorated beautifully and we only had a few detailed centerpieces and decorations and it was just enough because the space is already elegant and beautiful. Ashley Lueth, the wedding event coordinator, was amazing. From our original meeting, to our tasting, to last minute planning our rehearsal dinner at their lodge, to the day of she was there every step of the way helping guide us and make our day extra special. The food was amazing- the lemon pepper chicken was my favorite and the sweet potatoes were my husbands- but all was delicious. From the moment arriving to the Wetherington, staff was amazing and took great care of us. You could ask anyone in the place and they would make sure your every need was taken care of. Ashley took care of things I didn’t even realize needed taken care of. She took lead and handled anything that came up without stressing my husband or I. Everything at this venue went off without a hitch. I have absolutely zero complaints. 10/10 this place is amazing! They have space for both men and women to get ready, both large spaces and very nice. There is also an elevator on property to help get up and down the stairs if you have anyone who needs it- which was a pro for my mom who doesn’t do great with stairs (minor detail but helpful!)

As MOB, I could not be happier with hosting the wedding reception at Wetherington. Wetherington allows the Bride and Groom to take a golf cart out to scenic areas on the course, and the pictures there are breath taking. The dinning room has also been freshly updated, and it is gorgeous. There is a huge \"wow!\" factor the moment guests arrive. I think the layout is superior to other venues, in that everything is centrally located, and allows for a great party atmosphere. Many of our guests enjoyed the terrace and the amazing views. The appetizers, dinner, and late snack were all fabulous and served in a timely manner. There was ample staff to keep things going. Ashley Lueth, the Director of Events paid close attention to the details we wanted, so I could relax and enjoy the evening. I was confident all along that everything would be great, and it certainly was. The Bride and Groom are overjoyed and our guests are still raving about it.

We had our wedding at Wetherington on 6/23/18 and it was probably the best wedding decision we made! The reception area was perfect for our needs and everyone we spoke with commented on how much they liked the reception area. The food was amazing and that also saved us from having to look for food vendors as well. The appetizers were some of the best I've had (others in our wedding party said the same thing) and everyone really enjoyed their meals (panko crusted lemon chicken, NY strip steak, and eggplant Napoleon). My friends also said that the bartenders did not mess around when it came to drinks and our guests definitely enjoyed themselves. Ashley was amazing to work with, she was very responsive to questions and detail oriented. In terms of our ceremony, Wetherington was the perfect place for us! The week leading up to our wedding was full of rain and we did have rain the morning of our wedding. We ended up moving the ceremony site from the golf course green area to a paved area (nearby, maybe 50 yards away and still close to the reception site). The ceremony still turned out perfect and we loved having that flexibility (even the ability to be indoors if needed).I can't emphasize enough how much we truly enjoyed having our wedding at Wetherington. Again, Ashley was great to work with and we would highly recommend Wetherington, they were perfect!

Wetherington was soo pretty, the building is gorgeous inside and out and the grounds are just lovely! We had our ceremony on the cart path with a beautiful backdrop and the reception inside. I also really wanted to walk down the stairs to the isle and she made it happen for me.My only negative feedback is we ordered the 8 point swag drapery, and for some reason there were lights left on it from another event, but only some of the lights worked and I was told that the company Wetherington rents it from said we didn't pay to have it lit...Well that was never given as an option to me so I don't understand what happened. We definitely would have paid for the lights if we knew they were going to be left on it. People kept trying to plug them in all night thinking they were supposed to work. That's the only thing I'm really unsettled by, but it didn't ruin our night, we still had a great time. Overall, I love Wetherington and I know our photos and videos will be so pretty because it was there!

Ashley, the event coordinator stayed on top of all the bride and grooms wants and desires before and during the event, even supplying us with a suggestion list that we hired the DJ and Cake from that also turned out to do terrific jobs. We forgot a key item and Ashley sent a staff member to pick them up and fix what we had forgotten. Mike, the general manager was there throughout the entire wedding helping right along side his staff. Checking with the bride and groom several times to make sure their food was still hot, etc. We had the ceremony and reception at Wetherington and the terrific staff had it changed over from the wedding venue to the reception in less than 10 minutes. Re-decorating all the tables exactly as requested. We had chosen 6 different hors d'oeuvres some hot some cold that the guests raved about. The food came out hot, correct, and was delicious. The servers and bartenders couldn't have been more attentive. They all did a flawless job. We highly recommend using Wetherington Country Club for your next event. It was easy for us to choose to host our wedding reception at the Wetherington. I've always loved the grand, classic architecture of the building. My sister had her wedding reception at the wedding 2 years ago, and we were so pleased my husband and I chose to have our wedding reception there as well! Ashley is wonderful to work with—professional, helpful, accommodating, responsive, and personable. From our first tour to the tasting and then the actual event, everything went smoothly and perfectly! We love the space. We were able to use the beautiful locker rooms for getting ready, we had lunch served for the bridal party, and then we took pictures on the beautiful golf course. Everyone on the course was so kind and accommodating of our taking pictures at some of the most picturesque spots. The food was delicious (their house salad dressing, the chicken marsala, and the pork were divine), and the wine and beer options at the bar were offered a greater variety than your standard bar package! Our guests had a fantastic time and kept complimenting the food and how great the serving staff were. The food was served hot and the staff kept water glasses filled. The space is so beautiful and was perfect for our wedding of 200 people. We couldn't have been happier with the Wetherington!

Our wedding reception at Wetherington was absolutely amazing! The country club is gorgeous inside and out. Many of our guests made compliments about how beautiful the venue was. The staff was friendly and attentive to every single guest. I was told after the wedding one of the bridesmaids had wine spilled on her and there was a server there with club soda in minutes. Ashley is absolutely amazing as well. She catered to every need of our guests and us. She was a delight to work with and made sure everything was perfect. Wetherington is a great place to hold a reception and would recommend to anyone.

This venue is lovely, classy, flexible with anything you need, and their minimum is only like 6K, which is MUCH lower than most places, such as Manor House or Savannah Center, which are also classy, but don't give you their exclusive devotion and REALLY overcharge (like $12/person for pop... ridiculous!). Wetherington was wonderful though and still gave me the elegant feel I wanted. (side note: Double check your bill though because they Did mess up their math a couple times on me, but I don't think it was purposeful). Overall, I Highly recommend this venue! Go see for yourself and you'll agree.

Wetherington Country Club isn't cheap but you do get excellent food, service and atmosphere. Everyone loved the food and appetizers. The staff was great to work with and was great the night of the reception. It's a lovely setting for a reception.

Overall the Wetherington Golf and Country Club was a beautiful place to have both my rehearsal dinner and wedding. On the day of the wedding we were able to use the facility for the entire day. It made getting ready very easy and we didn't have to worry about driving to multiple locations. We did have a few problems with communication; however it was mostly due to the fact that we were given a new coordinator 2 months before my wedding because the person we'd been working with the whole time moved on to another position.

The Wetherington was very elegant. The coordinator and all of the staff were extremely professional and courteous. The food was excellent much better than any wedding food I've had before. Any wish that I had was granted. It was a beautiful clubhouse. Everyone said it was one of the prettiest wedding receptions they'd been too. It could not have been more perfect. Also the golf course was a very nice background for taking pictures!
