White Birch Barn is a picturesque wedding venue situated in Medina, OH. You can celebrate your special day in this family-owned estate surrounded by rich pastoral land with magnificent views of nature. The century-old barn began its restorations in 2015, with an adjoining vineyard planted in 2016. Today, the indoor and outdoor spaces provide a tranquil setting for your event, with ample opportunity to capture breathtaking photos as a memento of the day. The venue team is there to help you bring your wedding dreams to life through careful coordination and open communication. Prepare for the day ahead in the onsite get-ready rooms while your guests arrive at the wheelchair-accessible venue. Walk down the aisle on the venue's lush green lawns, or by the lake in an ethereal ceremony nestled in nature. Snap pictures throughout the property, and when you are ready, transition into the spacious barn for your reception party. You can welcome up to 200 loved ones to join you for an evening of fun, laughter, and lots of memories. The White Birch Barn team offers an array of services to assist you in the lead-up to your big day. Experienced event planners are there to help bring the details of your day together. Service staff will be on-hand throughout the day to help your celebration run smoothly. You are welcome to bring in outside vendors of your choice to provide for your catering, decorating, and additional needs. As a wedding photographer, I can't think of a more perfect wedding venue for couples to celebrate the best day of their lives! The weddings I've photographed here are still some of my favorites that I've ever done. Sam and Eric are amazing to work with and treat couples (and vendors) like royalty and the entire venue is GORGEOUS! There are TONS of amazing places for photos šš Trust me, you've found the perfect wedding venue!

Our sonās wedding was just last night. We cannot say enough about how great the entire experience was. Older reviews had us slightly apprehensive but none of those older comments apply to WBB now. Serena, the venueās coordinator, was incredible to work with - responsive, detailed and caring. So many details went into the day and nearly every single one was orchestrated perfectly. It was a great space for the guys and the ladies to prepare. We maxed the space at just over 200 guests which we were initially concerned about it the space handled it so well especially with the amazing outdoor areas. Having varied areas to hang out made the evening so much fun! This venue and staff were nothing short of superb. Highly recommend!!

The barn is the most stunning place I have ever seen. They really have made such a wonderful charming place from scratch. Eric and Sam are two of the nicest people I have ever met and I was so happy working side by side with them. Sam and our event coordinator had my reception area set up before I even got there on the big day. I was rushing from my hair appointment thinking I had to set everything up, but when I got there they had already unboxed all my decorations and even had them exactly where I wanted them. It looked absolutely like a fairy tale which is exactly what I had pictured in my mind when I envisioned my wedding day. I would highly, highly recommend having your special day here if you are looking for the most beautiful rustic barn venue. Their whole staff is amazing and so sweet. My bartenders were a hit and so amazing with my guests. I could never thank them enough for making the biggest day of my life as perfect and beautiful as it was.

Impossible to get a hold of. I had called several times and so did my mom to get a hold of of someone. We finally got a hold of someone several weeks later and got a tour, but they were over 30 minutes late and barely gave us a tour. The inside is actually dangerous as there were several wood boards/nails sticking out which made it an unsafe place to be in. Also, the venue has no heat or air conditioning. Was shocked over the price they were asking as this venue was not worth the price! I do not recommend.

I am so happy we selected White Birch Barn for our September wedding! I was a little hesitant due to the reviews about Samantha, which I think are harsh and unfair. She is a small business and I was not a needy bride. Perfect combo. Our experience was EXCELLENT. She is a pro and knows exactly what needs to be done, and when. We met a few times prior to the rehearsal, and she remembered the tiniest details. We would make suggestions and she was very honest whether they were good ideas or not (I kept telling my fiancƩ \"Samantha Knows Best\" LOL). She recommended some great vendors, especially the DJ. IF you can get a date, book it. Be patient, and things will fall into place. My wedding was magical because of her help, her terrific staff, and of course the venue. I wish her and her husband nothing but the best as they grow their business and winery!

Itās sad because this is such a gorgeous venue but it says a lot about the owners if they donāt care enough to even get back to a potential client and make money. Iāve tried calling multiple times, texting, emailing and have left voicemail. Itās been about a few weeks and Iām over it and moving on.

Samantha is USELESS. To begin, our tour went so well, Sam and her husband were very accommodating and answered our questions, everything seemed normal and we were excited to put a deposit down. We gave her our numbers and emails, and went on our way. We eagerly awaited for the contract she said would be sent to our emails, and we were excited to sign and begin our wedding journey. Today is Friday, nearly one week since the tour, and nothing. We have reached out multiple times in various ways and nobody has gotten back to us. It seems as though Samantha picks and chooses who can get married at her venue. BELIEVE ME, there are better and prettier venues out there. If you happen to make āthe cutā for her and actually receive the contract , run, you will have the biggest headache trying to plan with her. The owners donāt give a damn.

I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue space to have my wedding. Samantha and her team made everything on the day go so smoothly. Samantha is the owner of the barn, and I have to speak about how amazing she treated me through the whole stressful experience of planning a wedding in 2020. She added great touches and thoughts to the whole ceremony & reception. The whole property has AMAZING photo opportunities, and my guests loved making s'mores at the fire pit. Even saved me after by having some detail shots on her phone that my photographer had missed in the receptions space. I would recommend White Birch Barn to everyone!

It was so memorable and we had so many guests raving about how beautiful everything turned out. To be honest, we would not have had such a successful event without the help of White Birch Barn.They were so accommodating and met with us several times prior to our big day to ensure things would go smoothly. The value you get with this venue is so worth what you get out of it. They are continually making new changes and additions to make for a beautiful experience. Samantha was so sweet and helped us tie together all the final details. Kathy, one of the day-of coordinators, was so incredibly helpful day of. She went above and beyond to make sure the night was successful. She assisted with decorations, set up, making sure everyone knew where they were going and so much more. She event got some awesome videos of our sparkler send off which we did not get pics of because our photographers were gone at that point! Check out White Birch Barn and give it a chance, you will not regret it!

Nice place, but after taking a tour of the place, Samantha wouldnāt answer any of our emails, texts, or calls with the questions we had. She was also supposed to send over the available dates and other information to me, but never did that either. Definitely not worth the risk.

I canāt say enough wonderful things about the White Birch Barn. Sam and Eric are such amazing people and the most ideal husband-wife team. Their passion for their venue shines through the second you drive on to their gorgeous property. My husband and I had our wedding at the White Birch Barn two weeks ago...Our guests were in pure awe of the property as a whole. I would also like to add that wedding planning during Covid was a very emotional experience for me and my husband; Leading up to our date, Sam was such a constant, calm presence in the most stressful situations. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream because of all the time and thoughtful planning that Sam and Eric put into setting up and preparing for our day. If the actual day of our wedding had some little hiccups here and there (like large events typically do) my husband and I would never know because Sam makes it her goal to make sure itās the best day of your life and she handles anything thrown her way before it even has a chance to become an issue. If you are looking for a venue for an event, I truly can not say enough about the White Birch Barn- if I could do it all over again, I would do it all the EXACT same way. <3

White Birch Barn was absolutely amazing for our wedding venue! The owners made everything very easy and they definitely take care of their brides. We had a hiccup with our food vendor and Samantha was able to take care of it for us with no complaints! The venue itself is a dream and I wouldn't change a thing. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a venue!

White Birch Barn was absolutely amazing for our wedding venue! The owners made everything very easy and they definitely take care of their brides. We had a hiccup with our food vendor and Samantha was able to take care of it for us with no complaints! The venue itself is a dream and I wouldn't change a thing. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a venue!

I was part of a recent wedding at White Birch Barn (my sister's) and will tell any potential customer to look elsewhere for a wedding venue. As other reviews have stated, communication is horrible! Sam would not answer phone calls, texts or emails for months. Even 9 days before the wedding she was unresponsive. There was also a miscommunication about the wedding day, and when we showed up at 8:00am the morning of to set up, Sam was no where to be found. SO much extra stress was put on my sister and other's involved in the planning process that could have easily been avoided. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else!

I had my heart set on seeing this venue. After 3 weeks of attempts using different contact methods, and zero returns, I gave up and moved on. I also was told by a bride that did book here not to do it! Because communication was horrible! Like, 2 weeks before her wedding, she still didnāt have her final details finished because Sam would not return her calls, texts, Facebook messages, etc. So disappointing because this venue is gorgeous according to those who have been there. Iām not one for added stress, and a wedding venue with bad communication is not a stressor I want in my wedding planning.

I am currently in the process of having my wedding at the White Birch Barn ( a few months away, already booked with downpayment I cannot get back - wish I could I'd be going elsewhere with only a few months to go) and I am still posting this even before my event, in hope's to save ANYONE the stress the White Birch Barn and the owner Samantha has caused for me and numerous other brides. I gave it one star because it is beautiful, but you can find beautiful ANYWHERE, you cannot find good hosts EVERYWHERE! Samantha's unresponsiveness for the last year has been painstaking, calls, texts, emails, even showing up to the open houses because we had NO OTHER WAY of getting in touch, ridiculous I know right? The wedding process is hard enough and THE ONE wedding vendor you want on top of it is your Venue....all your planning stems from the place you choose! Imagine being a few months away from your wedding and having NO DETAILS of the day planned because you cant get a hold of your venue. Please, take my advice, go find somewhere else beautiful, it's out there, trust me! You do not want the extra stress and hassle that has been experienced by so many of us! Planning sucks let's be honest, and Samantha makes it that much more impossible! I hope this saves at least ome person from choosing this place.

My husband and I just got Married here on August 4th. I canāt express how much I love this place and the staff! Samantha made our day absolutely wonderful. We didnāt have to do a thing. She and her staff took care of everything and I honestly couldnāt have gotten through the day without them. The barn is breathtaking and the grounds outside are picture perfect. The entire White Birch Barn Team turned my dream wedding in to an reality! Samantha was very attentive and understood my vision from day one. I took their suggestions for the DJ (ABC DJ Services), Caterer (House of Hogs) and desserts (Peace, Love and Little Donuts) and we could not have been more pleased. The property is drop dead GEORGEOUS and you will not be disappointed with the photo opportunities!!! My husband was the typical \"hands off\" fiancƩ and he had no idea how the day was going to go... He was amazed at the venue's beauty and how the staff took care of everything. He gushed for days about how I did a great job planning making our day special, but I tell him that the credit goes to Samantha and the White Birch Barn team. Without Sam's coordinating, I would have had to ask so much more of everyone. Sam and the rest of the team handled absolutely every single piece of our reception and took every bit of stress off of my husband and I, our wedding party and our parents. I am so thankful for Samantha and her team and would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!!

My husband and I got married at White Birch Barn this past November and it was absolutely stunning. Her husband also helped in assuring everything was set up perfectly outside for our outdoor ceremony. The night was everything we had dreamed of and so much more. We couldnāt have picked a better venue to get married. The property has a plethora of different locations for pictures as well which we were very happy about. Our guest raved about how beautiful the venue was and I was so appreciative of the hard work Sam and Eric both put in to make all the details come together. They were so accommodating. Meet the White Birch Barn Team
Eric & Samantha Gasser (Owner) Eric & Sam started White Birch Barn in 2015. Eric grew up on the farm milking cows and is the 4th generation on the farm. He is the strength & heart behind building and renovating the barn and making it all that it is today! Samantha worked for years in corporate America doing some weddings and events on and off throughout the years. She is a planner by nature and has always had a love and passion for event planning, especially weddings, and loves bringing different visions to life! They have hosted over 50 weddings to date with many more to come and can't wait to make your dreams a reality!
