The Wedding of Your Dreams in Real Life
White Chimneys is a historic wedding venue in Gap, PA. This beautiful 300-year-old estate is part of the tract of land that was given to William Penn by King Charles II in 1681. A simple stone cottage was the first permanent structure built on the property. Constructed in the 1700s, the cottage was developed and expanded over the years as the fledgling 13 Colonies grew and moved ever closer to nationhood. In 1825, White Chimneys played host to the Marquis De Lafayette, one of the heroes of the American Revolution. Today, the venueâs lounge is decorated in classic French Rococo style, in honor of Lafayette. In 1974, the mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places. After several decades of tranquil retirement, this monument to early American life was reopened as a wedding venue. The property features beautiful European formal gardens, a majestic 16-column, imported Italian marble fountains, and a cosy, climate-controlled barn that can seat up to 220 guests. White Chimneys has indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception spaces. Wedding package features include a selection of decor and rental equipment, including eight-foot banquet tables and thousands of twinkle lights. Bartending services are provided exclusively by Roaming Libations Mobile Bar; you are free, however, to select your own caterer. Planning assistance is also available, and the White Chimneys team are happy to offer guidance and recommendations and answer any questions you may have. We started out as strangers and we turned into family! We toured many venues but White Chimneys felt like home. We met Jessica for a tour & fell in love with her & the venue! This is a family affair & it shows in everything they do. The barn is gorgeous and spacious. The patio with the tent is a dream, looking out at the surrounding gardens and fields is gorgeous. We toured White Chimneys in the winter. The wedding was June 4th. A summer wedding is spectacular but it would have been spectacular anytime of the year!The bridal suite is incredible. There was enough space to accommodate my daughter & eight bridesmaids, all getting hair & make up done.. They spent the day laughing and giggling-just relaxing & enjoying the day. They were free to wander around, inside and out. It made for a relaxing day. The groom & groomsmen had plenty of space to gather in the groom suite. They were free to play cornhole, sit & chat on the patio, do whatever they desired. The event planning was easy. Jessica made everything simple & kept us on target. One of our goals was to not have to do anything but show up & get dressed on the day of the wedding. She understands & is prepared to get that done. There was no need for a wedding planner as she does it all. We did hire a day of planner, Patty (supplied by Jessica), who was amazing the day of the wedding. She kept everything running smoothly & stayed connected all day. Patty made sure we were where we needed to be at the right time, but she never seemed in the way. We loved her! Jessica has an incredible sense of what is needed & what might be a waste of money. She told me several times, âyes, you can do that, but I think you will find it to be a waste of money.â I am glad I always listened to her advice. She does not nickel & dime brides & families. She has assorted items to add on, but does not do any high-pitched sales. The venue the day of the wedding looks just like the tour. You are not paying separate for the drapery and lights like many other places. The venue is decorated beautifully with the draperies, lights, etc. If there is anything you want or need, ask Jessica, she either has it or knows where to find it. Jessica also supplies a list of preferred vendors but does not require you use them as many places do. We used several of her vendors & were quite delighted with all. Roaming Libations does the bar service, & the bartenders did an amazing job! I was concerned over the bar area as we had approximately 200+ people however, the bartenders were fast, efficient, and friendly. The venue accommodated all our guests easily. There was more than enough room for everyone to gather and dance the night away. Never did we feel as though we were crowded. Should you not be able to use the outdoor space due to weather, don't worry, Jessica has a plan. This is important as she canât control the weather, but she can control how the events take place. The patio is tented & is large. If forced inside, we still would have had plenty of space for our guests. We had so many compliments about how nice everything turned out. Along the way, we met the entire White Chimneys family, & they are all a delight!!! They just want everyone to enjoy the celebration! Jessicaâs dad stopped me many times during trips to the venue and the day of the wedding to see if we needed anything or just to see how we were doing. It is just incredible how much they love what they do! We definitely had the party of a lifetime.

White Chimneys is National Register historic venue that is beautiful in every season. It was clearly evident that the dedicated staff absolutely delighted in making all our visions come true. Our family recently celebrated a perfect fairytale June wedding, complete with fireworks and a sparkler send off. Our guests enjoyed dancing outdoors next to the lilly pond, cocktails delivered by Don Julio the miniature donkey and dinner in the fully air conditioned restored barn. Jessica, facilities manager & event coordinator, was able to accommodate my late request for a lavish rehearsal dinner on the patio a few days prior. With over 15 years of events, medical field and tourism experience, Jessica is knowledge and offers a calm approach to dealing with challenging events. The year prior, we celebrated a themed gender reveal so extravagant, it required the use of the lower pastures. Later in the fall, we chose White Chimneys again for a baby shower in the heated barn. Miriam, owner of Roaming Libations Mobile Bar, is creative and helped make each event unique and delightful with signature drinks recipes using the garden herbs, and was super helpful with her coordinating experience. They have a full linen service and large array of onsite rentals that I reccomend in lieu of purchasing items youâll only need for your one time event. As part of the planning services, White Chimneys has excellent recommendations for local vendors. We particularly loved near by Florals in Time for all the fresh floral creations. We are looking forward to planning our next event at White Chimneys, full of timeless elegance that never gets old!

My husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our wedding this past October. White Chimneysâ staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. Miriam, our event coordinator was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. She made sure our big day was everything we had imagined and more. Our guests were blown away by the venueâs beauty - straight out of a magazine. And who can forget the shot donkey? Our family and friends are still raving about it. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! White Chimneys Estate is the BEST! They will make your vision come to life however big or small.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at White Chimneys. We hosted a party for a ladies group. The planning was simple - they were very flexible with ample time made available to go over things. Every request we made was met with helpful enthusiasm. On the day of the event, everything was arranged as needed with staff there to help us finish setting up. The evening went beautifully. All of the ladies loved the garden setting!! The tent accommodated us well. Overall, we had so much fun and will definitely be back this spring for round two!

My husband and I (and our parents) were working with a tight budget when we got engaged, and we needed a venue that was flexible and willing to bend with us. When we first met with Jessica, we were blown away by her passion for saying yes. We knew right away that White Chimneys was where we wanted to get married. She allowed us to choose our own vendors and even do some things ourselves to help keep costs down. Everything we asked was not a problem, and she even had some suggestions we hadn't considered. We had rain that morning, but I knew I didn't have to worry. It stopped just in time, and Jessica and her team had everything dry and ready to go before the start of the ceremony. We had a wedding that was uniquely us, and I wouldn't go back and change a thing. Our entire family was so grateful for everything Jessica did for us. Whenever I hear of someone looking for an event or wedding venue, I always recommend they check out White Chimneys.

White Chimneys Estate is beautiful venue. I got many compliments from my guests. Jessica and Miriam are very supportive. (2.5/5 âïž) I want to start this off by saying that the venue itself is absolutely beautiful & the supporting staff was wonderful. I also donât normally write negative reviews, but I need to speak up for other brides. I was assigned the co-owner of the venue (Jessica) as my coordinator last minute. I had not worked with her in any planning meeting beforehand (I had previously worked with Miriam who was great). I assumed my previous meetings would be fed to her regarding what I wanted & my vision, but the rehearsal would figure everything else out. At the start of the rehearsal, she was nowhere to be found to give direction. Once she finally showed up, she was texting on her phone the entire time and offered no suggestions or feedback as to how people should walk, where they should stand, etc. She generally looked miserable the whole time & I have her in the back of many pictures just on her phone. She then rushed us out after exactly 1 hour, even though we started late because of her. On my wedding day, it was raining all morning & I could not set up the outdoor portion for the ceremony, to which I was told multiple times âdonât worry about it, Iâll handle it.â She was again nowhere to be found all day, except for when she was giving tours to other prospective couples. What she did set up was rushed & not as planned (and she never came and asked me anything). She was walking around in the parking lot on her phone when the ceremony was to begin & my husband had to run up to her to ask if everyone should start (she was supposed to escort us all to our stations - I had to send a bridesmaid to figure out how to get to our starting point without having guests see me) to which she just shrugged and said sure. She had the DJ set up in a totally different place than originally discussed so I couldnât hear my cue to walk down the aisle. Once she finally arrived, I asked her if I should start walking and all she said was, âwell is this your song?â Once it was cocktail hour/reception time, they also did not light a single votive or candle or string light. We were also told she would have heaters outside if it was too cold & my mom had to find her to demand where they were, as people were outside shivering (surprise, she was inside on her phone). I had MULTIPLE people (including other vendors, bridal party, parents AND some guests) complain about her attitude & inattentiveness. We also went through 2 âpreferredâ DJs, one who took our money and ran & another that never responded to us. The DJ we finally chose (from friends) then had problems hooking up to their equipment, even though we had to pay an extra fee to âallowâ him to use their sound system.Luckily, most people did not notice the things that went wrong, but I spent lots of $$$ on all these details that were completely disregarded & she was nowhere to be found for the majority of the day (and charged a hefty fee for her âservices,â which was not quoted ahead of time & we were told to just bring her a blank check). So overall, again, beautiful venue, the rest of the staff (and Roaming Libations led by Miriam as the bar staff) was absolutely amazing, but the owner really put a bad taste in peoplesâ mouths. I had heard negative things about her from other weddings there but I didnât really have a choice & thought she would want to do a great job as the owner. I was wrong to not push back & request another coordinator (and if you have your wedding there, request anyone other than Jessica).

Our initial meeting with Jessica went very smoothly. She gave us a booklet and provided us a grace period as to determine if we want to move forward with that venue or not. I did want a certain vision and it did come to fruition in the end however, our wedding day planner Hannah was so accommodating and nice that I could not give her a higher accolade because she does deserve that! The wedding day ran so smoothly because of her, and it was a perfect day, and the best venue to have an outdoor wedding. I could not tell you the amount of feedback we got from the venue being gorgeous. I would recommend this venue for your wedding, but I would also recommend Hannah as your day of planner!

Our wedding at White Chimneys was amazing! I might be biased, but I truly think our wedding was an absolutely perfect day. Not only was the venue gorgeous, but Jessica and the WC staff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating -- not only on our wedding day, but also throughout the whole wedding planning process.In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Jessica kept us on track and organized and we felt so grateful that she was also our day-of coordinator! We had a few moments on the wedding day where we were totally unprepared and Jessica fluidly took charge and saved the day. Both my husband and I felt pretty calm and stress-free the entire day and I think that's due in large part to Jessica. We knew she had it all handled and because of that we could relax a little and just enjoy our wedding. White Chimneys is a stunning venue: The gardens, the barn, the bridal suite ... all of it. You couldn't take a bad pic if you tried! We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had in planning the wedding. We chose our own caterer and food truck, purchased exactly what and how much alcohol we wanted (And saved a ton of money while doing so, btw! The BYOB aspect of WC was a game-changer), had a fantastic band, and were able to utilize essentially every part of the property that we wanted. Plus we had a shot donkey which our guests still can't stop talking about! Our main goals for the wedding were (a) to get married and (b) show everyone a great time. It may sound like an obvious objective, but making sure all our guests had fun was so so important to us and Jessica and the WC staff really did help us achieve that tenfold. One month out, we're just so happy with every aspect of the wedding.  To all the engaged couples searching for a venue, I genuinely cannot recommend White Chimneys enough! (Though I'm jealous of anyone else who still gets to get married there! I want to re-do and re-live our day over and over and over again!)

Our wedding at White Chimneys was amazing! I might be biased, but I truly think our wedding was an absolutely perfect day. Not only was the venue gorgeous, but Jessica and the WC staff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating -- not only on our wedding day, but also throughout the whole wedding planning process.In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Jessica kept us on track and organized and we felt so grateful that she was also our day-of coordinator! We knew she had it all handled and because of that we could relax a little and just enjoy our wedding. White Chimneys is a stunning venue: The gardens, the barn, the bridal suite ... all of it. You couldn't take a bad pic if you tried! We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had in planning the wedding. We chose our own caterer and food truck, purchased exactly what and how much alcohol we wanted (And saved a ton of money while doing so, btw! The BYOB aspect of WC was a game-changer), had a fantastic band, and were able to utilize essentially every part of the property that we wanted. Plus we had a shot donkey which our guests still can't stop talking about! Our main goals for the wedding were (a) to get married and (b) show everyone a great time. It may sound like an obvious objective, but making sure all our guests had fun was so so important to us and Jessica and the WC staff really did help us achieve that tenfold. One month out, we're just so happy with every aspect of the wedding.  To all the engaged couples searching for a venue, I genuinely cannot recommend White Chimneys enough! (Though I'm jealous of anyone else who still gets to get married there! I want to re-do and re-live our day over and over and over again!)

They professionally listened to my concerns and provided the best answers and recommendations. This place is an absolute dream!!!Highly recommend using this venue for your wedding. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The staff was amazing, making the day go off without a hitch. We had rain during our ceremony but weâre able to move the ceremony under the tent and still have the gardens as a beautiful background. It was so intimate and romantic. Spectacular!!! We got married at White Chimneys 8/28/21 and it was everything I imagined and more! Jessica, the owner of the venue, was so much help throughout the planning process. She was easily reached and quick to respond. Once you book they give you a binder that helps you plan all the big and little details you need for the big day. They have a multitude of rentals available helping you avoid having to purchase items youâll only need for your wedding day. Patty, the day if coordinator, was EXCEPTIONAL! Sheâs helpful, detail oriented, and most of all such a kind, funny, and warm person. If something went wrong I had no idea because she understood my vision and ran with it. Mariam, the owner of Roaming Libation Mobile Bar, and sister of Jessica, was truly our VIP. We had constructed a full rental kitchen able to feed 150 guests. She was the key part to making my (chef) husbandâs wish to cater his own wedding possible. The day ran smooth, the entire staff were friendly, dedicated, and helpful beyond what was required of them. The venue is a stunning slate that you can do whatever your heart desires. I wouldnât have changed one this about my wedding, the planning process, or the people we hired to help my it come true. Thank you White Chimneys for hosting the beginning of our forever!

When the wedding day was approaching and the uncertainty of how Covid would effect our big day, Jessica ensured us that her and her staff would be on top of sanitizing and maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our guests. We had a lovely outdoor ceremony with the guest chairs distanced away from each other. They had also set up many tables outside after the ceremony so that guests could enjoy sitting out there and spaced out. Jessica made the whole planning process at ease and it was the day we dreamed it would be. My husband and I are so thankful for all the work and time that Jessica and her staff put into allowing our wedding happen. We hired Patty as our day of coordinator and she was very attentive and on the ball! She would already know what we were going to need before we could even ask her! My husband and I are so thankful for all the work and time that Jessica and her staff put into allowing our wedding happen. We hired Patty as our day of coordinator and she was very attentive and on the ball! She would already know what we were going to need before we could even ask her! We would highly recommend White Chimneys!We had heard from most of our guests that it was the best wedding they have ever been too and I am confident that one of the main reasons was how comfortable and safe everyone felt due to the venue taking all those precautious to keep our guests safe.

This venue is absolutely stunning! It will add so much beauty to your wedding photos. There are many different places you can have the ceremony and reception, you can choose whatever is most fitting and beautiful to you! Having my wedding at this venue took away so much stress because so many things are right there, you don't have to haul everything the day of the wedding. They have tables, chairs, table cloths, decor, ect. everything you would need, available to rent.Jessica and her team where so helpful on my wedding day. They set up all the tables and chairs, they helped set up wherever they were needed. You also get a list of all the food trucks, caterers, MCs, etc. so if you don't have anyone in mind yet, they have people to recommend!The girls prep room is stunning with an amazing amount of space and mirrors. There is a bathroom and half kitchen attached so you can put snacks, water, food somewhere as you get ready. The men also have a fun space in the upstairs of the barn to get ready in. There is a TV lounge area for them so they won't get bored ;) Having the ceremony and reception together is so much less hassle and is so perfect. Everything you need for a wedding is right there or can be recommended to you. It is a perfect place for a beautiful wedding. White Chimneys made my wedding perfect. I loved meeting up with Jessica as we figured out the details.

This was our absolute dream venue and I really couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The atmosphere, amenities, and staff are amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful, clean, and put together the venue was and we were told by many it was the best wedding they've ever been to (even coming from past DJs who have attended hundreds of weddings). We were so happy with Jessica, Miriam, Patty, and the whole team at White Chimneys... with their help and all the hard work they put in on our wedding day, and long before that (we booked our venue about a year and a half before our date) we didn't stress one bit and couldn't be happier with how our day went. They were so helpful during the whole process of planning and getting things ready and really made sure our day was perfect and the fairytale I've always dreamed of. Jessica and the team went above and beyond and helped me think of ideas of how to organize things and make the process go smoothly so I didn't have to stress at all on the day or in the planning process. Whenever me, my fiancé (now husband), our parents, coordinator, or vendors had questions they were so quick to respond and offer options and suggestions. Even when I had crazy ideas, they made it happen. While I was planning, I saw pictures of donkeys on Pinterest with cooler packs on their backs all decorated and cute carrying beverages for cocktail hour, and knew I wanted this for my wedding but didn't have a clue how to make it happen. Jessica and her team have a donkey, ponies, and other animals on the property and they practiced for days and days with their donkey, Biggie Smalls, and their pony to make this happen for me and make sure the animals were on their best behavior. (Just FYI, we didn't overload the donkey or ponies' packs with drinks. White Chimneys had 2 lovely ladies with them at all times so the animals stayed safe, they restocked the coolers when they ran low and made sure the coolers weren't too heavy for the animals). Also, the staff helped to make sure every shot our photographer and videographers got was picture perfect!! I'm in love with the previews we got back and can't wait to see more. Compared to other venues in the area, White Chimneys is a more elegant barn and outdoor garden wedding venue and their prices really are competitive and much lower than others in the area when you think of all the things they have to offer and the beautiful picture-perfect grounds they work so hard to upkeep and manage. Before choosing White Chimneys we must have visited at least 4-5 venues and as soon as we stepped foot on White Chimney's grounds, we knew that was where we wanted to get married because it was different than all of the other venues we visited. Also, getting married this August, in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, they gave us peace of mind that no matter what we had to do, we'd get married, have COVID friendly options for our guests so everyone felt safe, clean, and that the day would go on, and that it did. I wish we could have our wedding day again and again.

The venue itself is beautiful. However the owner Jessica and Miriam (bartender) are extremely unprofessional. My husband and I chose to use outside vendors for China and decor and Jessica had an attitude with us the entire experience. The day of the wedding, she stepped on and ripped my gown right before I walked down the isle and then wouldnât open the gates to let me walk down the isle âbecause she knew what she was doing waiting for another song to playâ which was not correct. Then she vanished. She was not there the rest of the night. During the season we had our wedding a Tent was required for cocktail hour. We had heaters under the tent and NONE of the heaters worked and the tent was not properly secured down. When we tried to locate Jessica to resolve this issue, she was nowhere to be found so during cocktail hour everyone went into the reception space because it was cold (no working heaters) and it was very windy (tent not secured down properly). At one point in the night the bartenders both took a smoke break at the same time and no one was there to serve our guests. Multiple people after the day told us they were both extremely rude and unprofessional and when they ordered drinks they rolled their eyes and acted like it was going out of their way to do they job. also during the night, a man who looked to work at the property came in dirty, in overalls and took food and sat in our wedding and ate food. He was not working the wedding and this disturbed me greatly. At the end of the night the bartender Miriam came up to asking to resolve the tab, I just advised her to talk with my father since he was handling all payments. A few moments later she came up to me again, at that point I walked her over to my father.Again the venue was beautiful but management needs to change their tone. They hosts weddings and needs to at least fake a smile, and not allow their attitude or own problems come into appointments.

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Chimney's! It was absolutely our dream wedding venue. My fiancĂ© and I toured Big Canoe during for a bridal expo in January 2019. We fell in love with the The Chimney's location because of it's beautiful intimate setting overlooking the lake and under the trees. Most of our wedding guests and family would be coming from out of town so we loved the option to book cabins in Big Canoe and making it a relaxing destination wedding. Our wedding took place in early September, we couldn't have asked for better weather under the gorgeous canopy of trees and a light breeze blowing (we paid extra for the breeze đ). The staff were all so sweet and accommodating making sure that the bride and groom actually ate during the wedding. We hired Talk of the Town and selected the BBQ option. I had several people rave about how wonderful the food was - especially the Mac and Cheese!! The passed Hors d'oeuvre during the cocktail hour were also a huge hit. We didn't have any leftovers whatsoever because people kept going back for seconds and thirds. Kristen was our main point of contact at the Chimney's and she helped every step of the way in making sure every detail was taken care of. Overall our experience with both the Talk of the Town and Chimney's was such a delight, it was my dream wedding and they helped make it happen.

Lots of amazing places to take pictures, plenty of room for guests to dance and mingle, beautiful barn, the cutest little bridal cottage, and so much more. Jessica was everything you could hope for in a venue owner! She and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for my husband and I. I fully trusted her judgement on everything. She is kind, caring, and insanely accommodating! For instance, she heard I was having trouble finding a seamstress that could bustle my wedding dress, so she helped me find someone who was able to do it THAT DAY! And she even got down on the ground to help me bustle it on wedding day because my bridesmaids and I were having trouble doing it ourselves. My wedding was the most perfect and beautiful day ever and I truly believe it wouldn't have been that way without Jessica and her wonderful family and staff.

Jessica is amazing to work with and the property is breathtaking! Every single other vendor we worked with from DJ to catering etc was so happy to work with her and had nothing but the best things to say. Jessica is very personally invested in the events that take place at WC and really wants to make them the best they can be. I live in Germany and planned my wedding from abroad and Jessica was so flexible and helpful. I can't imagine having worked with anyone else!

This venue was breathtaking. I was told there would be no coordinator on site, which was fine with me since I was planning my entire wedding anyway. However, the owner, Jessica, was extremely helpful when booking the venue, responding super quickly to emails with my questions, and was thorough when it came down to the last minute details. Her sister, Miriam, was there on the day of our wedding and she was a gem! The barn and bridal cottage was air conditioned, which was a big plus for us when it came to a wedding at the end of July! Highly recommend.

This venue was breathtaking. I was told there would be no coordinator on site, which was fine with me since I was planning my entire wedding anyway. However, the owner, Jessica, was extremely helpful when booking the venue, responding super quickly to emails with my questions, and was thorough when it came down to the last minute details. Her sister, Miriam, was there on the day of our wedding and she was a gem! The barn and bridal cottage was air conditioned, which was a big plus for us when it came to a wedding at the end of July! We just had our wedding reception here and it was beautiful! The grounds and refurbished barn are breathtaking and all of our guests loved how unique it was. The tented dancing and cocktail area was perfect. We were able to be outside without worrying about any rain in the forecast. Jessica was a great help the day of our wedding. She made great recommendations leading up to the wedding, and went above and beyond the day of the wedding. We loved that is was more diy and that we could bring in our own vendors and alcohol. White Chimneys is the perfect place for your special day. Our guests are still RAVING about the amazing setting for our wedding. Our wedding was in late June and the grounds were just so spectacular, we really didnât need to add much to the outdoor beauty. Jessica has a variety of fun furnishing pieces inside the barn. We used her antique oven to display our cupcakes and it was just perfect. A few of my other friends have had rustic weddings at other Lancaster and Chester County venues and they were impressed with all White Chimneys had to offer. I KNOW we got our moneyâs worth! No hidden fees either, which is rare.Throughout the planning process, Jessica was in touch to answer my questions and allowed me to check out the property when I wanted. And with all of the planning that goes along with a wedding, something is bound to go wrong. A bit before the ceremony, Jessica noticed that the bartender that I had hired had yet to arrive. She immediately got on the phone and found a contact who was able to come bartend for us (on a Saturday night) right away. Talk about a lifesaver! My husband and I enjoyed watching everyone have a blast at White Chimneys. From the dance party on the patio under the tent, to the folks who enjoyed the quieter, cooler tables inside the barn, to the folks taking in the sunset and scenery of courtyard, White Chimneys is truly one of a kind.

My wife and I were married at White Chimneys on June 10th, 2016. It exceeded all of our expectations. Jessica, the owner, was a great host and I highly recommend this venue. Our wedding was on a Friday afternoon. Since no wedding had been booked for Thursday (6/9), we were allowed to come in and set everything up the day before. This was a huge benefit to us as Friday became a relaxation day instead of a stressful one. We held a rehearsal dinner at the venue Thursday evening, which Jessica happily allowed at no extra cost to us. As we arrived on Thursday, Jessica and her crew were working hard landscaping and prepping the gardens for our wedding Friday. They were out there all day in 90 degree weather edging and mulching. Everything was immaculate - they did a fantastic job. We arrived early Friday morning to finish up the small details. Jessica was readily available and answered any and all questions we had. The wedding was perfect. Everyone had a blast. No drama, no problems. It couldn't have gone any better!I have read a few negative reviews on this venue and Jessica personally - It seems as though some people may have misunderstood, or misinterpreted the owner's role here. From day 1 when we visited the venue, everything was extremely clear to us. She is NOT a coordinator... she just merely owns the property. Her down-to-earth, straight forward personality was refreshing to us as most venues/hosts can be stuffy and uptight. Jessica is a straight shooter who will give you her professional opinion (which was very helpful) if she feels it can be done better/easier/faster. We loved working with her. Highly recommend this venue!

Although this location is beautiful, I have to rate it so poorly. The wedding cordinator for this venue was not helpful at all. During rehearsal, she was not on location to help assist. The morning of the wedding, she was just as helpful as the day before.. being that the wedding was in June it was 80 some degrees, and we got ready in a small cottage with no AC, and after we were finished getting ready, the wedding cordinator put in a window AC unit. She also didn't help set up for the wedding, when asked to do some things, it didn't happen so the bridesmaids were doing it 30 minutes before the ceremony. It's such a shame because this place has so much potential, it's beautiful but it's lacking management and control.

I recently had my wedding at White Chimneys. I absolutely loved my wedding and the venue is gorgeous. However, the customer service is horrible. The owner, Jessica, did not make herself available to me in person or via email. I would have to send her three to four emails before getting a response. The venue is beautiful however, the hospitality is lacking. The woman (Jessica) that runs the venue is rude and lacking professionalism. The place is by appointment only and don't dare stop in for a packet of information because it is her \"private residence\". There is no indication that this place is a residence. NO sign that says by appointment only. Even the venues webpage is not listed as by appointment only. She makes you feel belittled and even stated \"do you just drop in on every venue\". I have heard people rave about white chimneys however, I can say I was not in the least impressed.

My husband and I found White Chimney's at a wedding show and fell in love. Jessica and Anthony LaCorte could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We were able to meet with Jessica several times before the wedding to iron out the details. We were able to set everything up on Friday and everything went off without a hitch the day of the wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and wowed all our family and friends. For what they have the price is excellent in comparison to similar types of venues. We recommend them to anyone who is asking for a nice place to get married. We don't regret it at all.

The property is gorgeous! Jessica was very helpful with renting chairs & extra tables. There is a beautiful back up plan if it rains & you are unable to have the ceremony outside. We had about 180 guest & had to seat 4 tables on the dance floor - was okay but had to move the tables after the meal. Great location, total Lancaster County, lots of photo ops!
