Haleigh and Brooke are a dream duo - they are super responsive, organized, and flexible. We had our wedding at WFC last weekend and it was more than we could have ever hoped! The food and drinks were amazing, the venue is beautiful, and the view….well the view is worth every single penny. The entire weekend ran so smoothly, we even threw in random requests in the few weeks leading up to the wedding and every single thing we wanted was accommodated!! If you’re looking for a beautiful mountain venue, this is 110% the right place for you!

People with food allergies beware.We had our wedding here on Labor Day weekend and while 90% of the day was perfect, the 10% that wasn’t almost led to an overnight hospitalization due to their kitchen staff and servers not taking food allergies seriously. I am tree nut allergic, as are two of my bridesmaids and my mother. We talked to the venue and Chef Jonathan multiple times about that concern and were assured that it would not be a problem and that they would simply omit tree nuts from the day entirely to avoid a potential mishap. Chef Jonathan personally assured us that he took allergies very very seriously. We discussed this at the tasting, on a follow up call, and included all allergies on our guest count list as required by the venue. On the day of, after the ceremony, my mom grabbed an hors d'oeuvres from a server who told her there were no nuts in the dish. When she began to feel a reaction starting she asked the server to clarify if there were nuts they admitted that they did not know. The kitchen only admitted there were tree nuts in the Brie Bites after being confronted by my maid of honor. My mother tried taking an antihistamine but ended up having to go to the hospital to be monitored and missed hours of our wedding. On top of all of this she was scared, we were scared and she felt sick for days after due to the reaction. And she missed important moments from our wedding that we can never give back to her. Thankfully none of the rest of us accidentally ate the appetizers due to the groomsmen running to warn us. There were also tree nuts all over the charcuterie board, and nothing had any kind of allergy cards to help people know what to avoid. After the wedding we reached out to the venue to voice how angry and heartbroken we were that our wedding memories were now permanently tainted with this scary experience and met with half apologies and no real sign that they understood how serious this could have been. They admitted that they noticed the brie bites had almonds in them after the tasting and rather than let us know, had assumed it would be fine because I had eaten them at the tasting (after I had asked if anything we were tasting had nuts and been told that it was safe). They say that they are implementing new training, but any trust in their food safety has been firmly shattered for us. It’s so unfortunate because the venue is gorgeous, the gardens are amazing and before cocktail hour it was a perfect wedding. But we can’t recommend this venue at all, and if we could do it all again we wouldn’t go back. Our guests' safety is worth more than a ceremony space with a view.

I got married at the Whiteface Club & Resort this past August and it could not have gone any better! From the wedding gardens to the lake side views of Whiteface mountain at the ceremony to cocktail hour, it was the absolute perfect location for an Adirondack wedding. Brooke was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning experience, and brought me so much relief! I got married at the Whiteface Club & Resort this past August and it could not have gone any better! From the wedding gardens to the lake side views of Whiteface mountain at the ceremony to cocktail hour, it was the absolute perfect location for an Adirondack wedding. Brooke was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning experience, and brought me so much relief! Perfect is the correct word for our daughter's wedding here last weekend ! The grounds, the views, the staff, the food, the amenities, the boat ride, the cake....from the ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and dancing and bonfire and dessert - truly wonderful !! Amanda worked her magic and coordinated with our amazing vendors. Our wants, needs and wishes were granted and it could not have been a better wedding !! There was great planning communication and implementation. The items we brought were displayed beautifully. The menu, chef consultation and quality of the food were incredible ! The cake and desserts beautiful and delicious ! The bars and bar tenders were outstanding ! The staff and maintenance crew were incredibly helpful ! Our guests had an awesome time and the bride and groom truly had a wedding to remember !!

I could not recommend the Whiteface Club enough for anyone planning their dream Adirondack wedding. Brooke and her team made planning a breeze; she was organized, calm and collected, and incredibly responsive to every single message sent her way. And once the day arrived, she kept everything running so smoothly, we never had to think twice about logistics. The Whiteface Club gave us an amazing list of vendors, which made it easy for us to find an incredible DJ, photographer, and florist. The spaces are beautiful - you have to spend way less on florals and decorations because the natural light and beauty grace every part of the venue. Our guests loved the variety of spaces, from the ceremony gardens, to the dock and boathouse, to the clubhouse with several outdoor seating areas and an extra bar. Guests were able to go wild on the dance floor while other guests looking to relax had plenty of space to move around elsewhere. The team went WAY above and beyond when our shuttle bus got stuck at the end of the night. Brooke and other members of the Whiteface staff (and their spouses/family members) drove stranded guests back to their lodging, and brushed it off as no problem. So many of our guests claimed it was “grown up summer camp” and “the most fun wedding ever”, and it’s all thanks to this amazing place! Run, don’t walk. Thank you Whiteface!

Have your wedding at the Whiteface Club!! Brooke and all the Whiteface Club staff made the experience as simple and enjoyable as possible from day 1. Brooke is a fantastic communicator -- she was so helpful and easy/pleasant to work with throughout all the planning months, and was amazing on the day of the wedding. We had a truly incredible wedding and reception at the Whiteface Club & Resort this past September. Lake Placid is such a special place for me and my husband, and now that our friends and family have visited this stunning venue, they understand why! The wedding garden right on the lake is simply magical, and having exclusive access to the clubhouse, boat house, and gardens for your entire wedding day makes everything flow so smoothly. Brooke and Haleigh were absolutely amazing during the planning process - we don't live in the area, so I was initially nervous about semi-long distance planning, but they were super responsive and made sure that every detail was taken care of so we could just relax and enjoy the day! We truly could not have asked for a more perfect day, and our guests are still raving about the food and those unbeatable views. Everything about this venue is spectacular - we can't recommend it enough!

Awesome venue – could not have asked for a more perfect day. The reception layout is perfect and the band was great. The dancefloor was smaller which made it feel more intimate and exemplified the band even further. Having two separate bars was a major plus and there was never a line to get a drink. We also had a cigar bar which was fun with the bonfire lit outside. Haleigh and Brooke made everything so easy, anything we wanted they made sure was there for us and took care of any/all last-minute changes. Don’t sleep on this wedding booking!

EXCELLENT. We recently got married at The Whiteface Club & Resort and the whole experience was incredible. We got married during peak leaf season and the weather/property could not have been more beautiful. The Whiteface Club wedding coordinators, Haleigh and Brooke, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was brought to life for the wedding of our dreams. They helped personalize the venue to our specific needs while making sure everything ran smoothly. We transformed the outside deck area into a winter wonderland that took a lot of coordinating to fit our “winter chic” vibe. They were both extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. The overall layout of The Whiteface Club & Resort is hard to beat. The wedding moved seamlessly from the reception (complete with hot spiked apple Cider) to the cocktail hour in the boathouse (featuring a canoe with beer/wine) and finally, up to the main reception area on the golf course. We took a boat ride on the Whiteface club’s Mahogany boat and the time alone (along with the incredible photo’s captured) was one of the highlights of the night. The reception area featured a separate dessert room where we displayed an array of cookies/cupcakes/treats next to our wedding cake. The day was simply amazing, and our guests are still raving about the beautiful landscape and unique Adirondack venue. Highly recommend!

If you want an outdoor (or indoor) wedding at Lake Placid, surrounded by the Adirondacks, this is your place! Beautiful setting with an Adirondack theme everywhere you look. The wedding garden sits right on Lake Placid and has Whiteface Mountain in the background. The wedding couple chose this location because they hike all the high peaks of the Adirondacks. It was perfect!The wedding planner(s) were great to work with and helped me out as I tried to get everything organized for my daughter from 3000 miles away. They provided a list of vendors to choose from and a variety of places to stay. They even accommodated a site visit 7 months in advance so that I could get a better sense of the location and facilities. I would highly recommend doing a site visit.It was easy to order in items such as table center pieces and have them sent directly to the venue. I provided pictures of what the couple wanted, and the wedding planners did the rest. They also filled in decor where needed as they have a supply room full of items.All of the food was fantastic from the hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour to the buffet style dinner and the wedding cake. The couple wanted an Adirondack theme on the wedding cake and they delivered it perfectly with mountains all around it and the hiking couple on top!Though we had hoped for an outdoor wedding, we ended up with a rainy day and the wedding planner and her staff moved the ceremony inside without a hitch. It was still beautiful, right on the lake, and I was happy to have a backup plan just in case the weather did not cooperate. We went from wedding straight into the cocktail hour!Whiteface Club and Resort also offers a ride around the lake in an old wooden CrisCraft boat for the wedding couple. Immediately following the cocktail hour, all the wedding guests gathered on the boathouse veranda to see the couple off for a trip out on the lake. This is a nice touch and the couple loved it! The couple did not opt for a DJ and Whiteface even helped out with the sound system. It worked out fine and there was lots of dancing by many in attendance. To top off the food service, the couple wanted a wedding cake with a mountain theme to it. The cake design was exactly what they asked for as mountains were applied all around on the sides and the hiking couple was atop. I received many compliments on the cake design. Whiteface took care of all the cake preparation. What I would say about coordinating with the folks at Whiteface Club and Resort is that they are very responsive, good to work with, and will help you pull off a fabulous event. They are organized, friendly and allow folks to relax and enjoy the big day. Most importantly, the wedding couple was thrilled!!

We had the most beautiful wedding and reception at the Whiteface Club & Resort!!! We couldn't have asked for a better day, with the gardens, lake, and lodge - everything was stunning and in full bloom. Brooke and Haleigh were absolutely amazing, very responsive, and made sure that the day ran smoothly and that all details were taken care of. We had the most beautiful wedding and reception at the Whiteface Club & Resort!!! We couldn't have asked for a better day, with the gardens, lake, and lodge - everything was stunning and in full bloom. Brooke and Haleigh were absolutely amazing, very responsive, and made sure that the day ran smoothly and that all details were taken care of. I could not have asked for a better wedding and it is all because of the team at the Whiteface Club & Resort. From pre-planning all the way to day of execution everything was top notch and seamless. Our guests couldn't get over how magnificent the venue was but on top of that were incredibly impressed by the quality of the drinks made by the bartenders, the friendly servers, and the delicious meal crafted by the kitchen. In my opinion, there is no better place to get married in Lake Placid or the Adirondacks for that matter.

The WFC is a beautiful wedding venue.The wedding coordinator Haleigh and staff were as lovely and detailed as our surroundings.The moment we met Haleigh we were put at ease and confident we would be provided a beautiful day. All of our stress about the what if’s washed away. Haleigh is accommodating, attentive, assured and answered all of our questions, calls, texts and e-mails quickly. She was great!One day before the wedding, we stopped by to measure. Haleigh took time between meeting with other couples to hear our idea.After we explained we were starved since we had just spent hours with our florist beforehand, we’d love lunch at The Cafe. It was closing. Haleigh insisted she ask the kitchen to stay open for one more meal. They agreed and we had lunch on the patio. There we talked with staff about the grounds and how beautiful it was. We got to hear a lil about them and what brought them to Lake Placid. The staff were so nice to us and we really loved getting to know some of them. They all worked so hard to remove furniture, add props to the patio and couches in the Cafe all to add to our guests experience. Shout out to The bartenders. They were awesome too! Grounds keepers all rock!We were so excited for our guests to experience walking through the Wedding Garden. It was enchanting as lil humming birds fluttered about. It was a beautiful day and the garden was was in full bloom and putting on quite a show. It felt like a dream.All of our signage was where we asked for it to be.Haleigh was right there to instruct us. Our rehearsal was rained out but Haleigh again put us all at ease and had it organized for us. We communicated throughout our stay in Lake Placid leading up to the wedding. She was always available. The ceremony was just breathtaking with Whiteface Mountain across the Lake. Prior to the ceremony the staff were hanging out paper cones with rose petals but the wind started to blow the petals out. Haleigh let us know and told us what she can do. They looked perfect and we were able to have the rose petal toss that we dreamed of.Haleigh always had a solution and not a road block to keep our vision alive.Off to The Boathouse. The displays were full and large and the servers delivered trays of delectables. The bar was stocked with our signature drinks and ready to serve up whatever was ordered. (pleased with what I saw)The couple took a complimentary Hacker Craft boat ride which we can all appreciate the craftsmanship there. Beautiful boat and beautiful addition to the day. The staff alerted us when it was time to meet on the dock. It allowed us a photo op by drone. What a great shot of the bride and groom with all the guests. Next stop The Clubhouse. The patio looked amazing . The staff staged it perfectly. We had an outside vendor bring in rugs and a couple vintage items and they were allowed to stage as well. The staff and vendors all worked together with Haleigh’s direction.The room was better than we imagined and the service was friendly and timely. Our meal was delicious. They added a water station which was a great idea. We danced all night!We used The Cafe, Fire Pit and Reception room. Our guests really enjoyed all the areas.The grooms family came from Louisiana and they all fell in love with the area and The WFC.Thank you for being a part of our story. We will always remember our time spent at The Whiteface Club fondly. I believe we landed at the best place in Placid to have our wedding.

We visited the venue in Fall 2019 and knew that Whiteface Club was the place for us for our July 2021 wedding. Kristin is just the best! She made everything super simple leading up to the day and anticipated our every need on our actual wedding day. She always made sure we had a snack or a drink when we needed and allowed us to have personal time when we needed to step away just us two. We had a little snag with our transportation company and Kristin took charge and got everything back on track immediately. I wasn't stressed one bit! Our guests were absolutely blown away by the scenery, the gardens, the food, and how unique the whole event was. It was our dream venue!!

We decided that we wanted to do an outdoor ceremony in February 2020 with 150 people. Kristin was absolutely amazing!!! Her ideas for the day were way more than we could ever have imagined. The grounds were stunning. She even organized hot spiked beverages for guests before the ceremony started. The staff for the reception could not have been nicer or more polite. Instead of sit down tables, we did more of a moveable feast. The food was amazing. Every vendor that Kristin suggested was phenomenal, and the space could not have looked more beautiful, I highly recommend her! And I would recommend taking advantage of Lake Placid in all of its beauty in the winter!

My husband and I got married at the Whiteface Club at the end of August five years ago. It was an amazing day!!! It was only the second venue we looked at but after taking a tour and meeting with Kristen we immediately knew it was where we were going to get married. Kristen was amazing to work with. She listened to all of my ideas and added in her own expertise. We had the rehearsal dinner at the lodge, the wedding in breathtaking gardens, and a breakfast for all our guests the next day. Kristen and her staff were on top of every detail the entire weekend. Everything went perfectly (or at least that’s how the staff made it seem). A few days after our wedding a friend told me that the bar had run out of Labatt Blue during the reception and that a waiter ran across the street to buy a few more cases at the grocery store. After hearing that story I can only imagine what other tiny details the staff went above and beyond for. Five years later and people still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! My husband and I had dinner at the lodge for our five year anniversary and even that was amazing! The hostess wished us a happy anniversary on arrival and reminisced about our wedding day which she worked. We got to catch up with Kristen and were treated like royalty. It was like having a little wedding family reunion and made our anniversary that much more special.

Kristin is an absolute dynamo - she is so passionate about her work and weddings and it shows countless times over. She was there every step of the way with so much enthusiasm, and happy to help with literally anything you could possibly need. Her team and staff are equally attentive and incredibly professional; every detail was meticulously addressed, service was exceptional and friendly and the kitchen was very accommodating for the number of kids and vegan/vegetarian guests we had. Everyone had a blast and guests are still telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve been to. WCR is perfect for its incredible views alone, but Kristin and her team are what truly elevate the experience to something exceptional.

Everything about the venue was absolutely amazing. Kristin couldn't have helped make our wedding day more special. She was so incredibly helpful from the moment we met her. She supplies you with reliable vendors and checks in on you often to make sure you have everything you need. We ended up repurposing my bridesmaids bouquets as center pieces and she helped us on the day cut the stems to make them look perfect as center pieces. She goes absolutely above and beyond. It ended up being a rainy day and it cleared up just in time for the ceremony. She said they normally decide at noon to have the wedding inside or outside but 10 minutes before the ceremony she did her magic and made it so our wedding could be outside by getting a group of people together to wipe down all the chairs. Rain or shine the venue is absolutely stunning on the lake. The garden is breathtaking as is the dining room in the club house.

The venue itself is beautiful. Having exclusive access to the Wedding Garden, Boathouse and Lodge, for the whole weekend, makes you feel welcome and special. Kristin Parker was just as excited as we were throughout the whole wedding process and went above and beyond in every way possible. Kristin absolutely loves her job, which shows through in all of her weddings and interactions. We were so impressed with the staff, how friendly and genuinely happy and excited they all were for us. Kristin Parker & the Whiteface Club & Resort exceeded our expectations for our Fall wedding. When my husband and I visited possible venues, the Whiteface Club & Resort stood out the most. We loved the idea of having a rustic themed wedding where we had the luxury of being outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception. The view of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain in the background are incredible. Kristin Parker even set us up with a wooden boat ride which I thought was very romantic and gave my husband and I 30-minutes to enjoy a moment by ourselves before dancing the night away. The cocktail hour and reception were a beautiful. Our guests had the time of their life. Kristin Parker helps the bride throughout the entire planning process and is very responsive. She was also there during the entire day of the wedding. Everything went perfectly! It was our dream wedding. We keep hearing about how fun our wedding was and how gorgeous the venue was even 4-months later!!! I HIGHLY recommend your Adirondack wedding to be at Whiteface Club and Resort.

After our first visit to the Whiteface Club and Resort, we knew that having our reception there would be the best decision we could make. Not only does the club have the most beautiful grounds and backdrop, it comes with the kindest, hardest working staff I have ever encountered. The grounds of the club are so gorgeous on their own, little decoration is needed to make this venue stunning. Their gardens are unparalleled, and you cannot create this vibe and view anywhere else. While visiting other venues, the event planners would recommend we hire a separate wedding planner, as their services were quite limited. When first visiting the Whiteface Club and Resort, Kristin explained her role, which sounded surreal. She explained how we would be able to rely on her throughout our entire wedding process, and that there is really no need to hire a separate wedding planner. Kristin really did not do herself justice. She basically held our hands through every part of the planning process. From making sure we were on schedule, to helping us pick vendors, and disclosing her elite group of recommended vendors, we never could have planned our perfect day without her help. As if her 24/7 help leading up to the event (Kristin would literally answer her phone at home, in her car, all hours of the day), was not enough, Kristin was an angel not just the day of, but the entire week leading up to our wedding. Kristin stayed late two nights before our wedding to help us decide on table placement and decorations, and never complained when we were indecisive. She really cared that the room was exactly how we wanted it. We got married at a church, not the reception venue, and Kristin came to the church and fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle. She transported flowers and decorations from the venue to the church. Kristin made sure every single aspect of the day went off without a hitch. She was constantly communicating with vendors to keep us from needing to do so, and she made sure every detail was taken care of down to double checking the serving spoons for dinner. She is fun, kind, and funny, but also no nonsense when it comes to her job. I have been a part of several weddings, and have never encountered such a talented, invested wedding planner and staff. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more, and I am certain that is a result of the hard work of the staff at the Whiteface Club and Resort. Thank you!!

Whiteface Club & Resort beyond exceeded all of my expectations. When we first started looking at venues about a year ago we went to see 4 in Lake Placid (we already knew we wanted to get married in LP, where was just the question). WFCR was the last one we saw that day and immediately knew it was the place for us (and blew the other 3 out of the water), we booked that day. From the first time we met Kristin till the very last detail on the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond for EVERYTHING. She was there every step of the way from start to finish. Being a perfectionist myself – I couldn’t have met a better match to work with throughout the year. Everything I asked and wanted she said yes and made happen (usually unheard of). She made our day the best ever and it went so smooth! Everyone kept coming up to me complimenting how great she was. Aside from Kristin – the venue and location was more than perfect and I would do it again there a million times if I could! I would highly recommend the Whiteface Club & Resort to everyone!!!!

Whiteface Club & Resort beyond exceeded all of my expectations. When we first started looking at venues about a year ago we went to see 4 in Lake Placid (we already knew we wanted to get married in LP, where was just the question). WFCR was the last one we saw that day and immediately knew it was the place for us (and blew the other 3 out of the water), we booked that day. From the first time we met Kristin till the very last detail on the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond for EVERYTHING. She was there every step of the way from start to finish. Being a perfectionist myself – I couldn’t have met a better match to work with throughout the year. Everything I asked and wanted she said yes and made happen (usually unheard of). She made our day the best ever and it went so smooth! Everyone kept coming up to me complimenting how great she was. Aside from Kristin – the venue and location was more than perfect and I would do it again there a million times if I could! I would highly recommend the Whiteface Club & Resort to everyone!!!!

We can't say enough good things about our experience at Whiteface Club & Resort! The venue is amazing, the food is great, and the service couldn't be better. Kristin Parker was amazing from start to finish. She is incredibly knowledgable and professional, but is also kind and does everything with a smile. Every stage of the planning process was easy with her help and guidance. We got so many compliments from our guests - about the food, the venue, everything. Many have said that it was the best wedding they've ever attended! We're so grateful to have had such a positive experience.

Our wedding day was planned from a distance, and it could not have been a more simple process. Kristin is truly a dream—honestly, she makes wedding planning a fun endeavor. She was so calm, open and in constant contact without creating any stress. My husband and I just sat back and enjoyed every second of our wedding day. The garden was flawless, the cocktail hour was an easy transition from our ceremony and our reception was perfect! The food was amazing! I had high expectations for food, and everything was exactly as we had hoped. Could not have asked for a better experience. We will forever be grateful for Kristin, and every staff member who made our wedding the laidback day we had hoped for!

Kristin, who is the heart and soul of Whiteface Club & Resort, has made every effort possible to make the wedding a huge success. Her caring, professionalism and knowledge - above and beyond our expectation. The food and service was a bonus surprise - the chef was creative and acomodating, serving beautiful dishes based on local, fresh produce. As our guests shared with us - it was an unforgettful wedding in Lake Placid.

After looking at several venues in Portsmouth, NH, my husband and I traveled to Lake Placid, where I grew up skiing to look at a few more. Once we saw The Whiteface Club & Resort and met Kristin in person, we knew that was it. Our wedding, was truly the best day ever. We loved planning our big day - with Kristin's help, we were able to get the best photographers (Due West Photography: http://www.duewestphotos.com), flowers and DJ - the Whiteface Club had everything else we needed. Our guests still gush about our wedding day and I can't blame them! The day of was perfect - if anything went wrong, we were blissfully unaware, but it was definitely, the best day ever!

She took all of the stress out of the wedding planning process and made sure that everything was went perfectly on the day of as well. I have since been to another wedding that Kristin has helped plan and the attention and care she puts in to each wedding speaks for itself. The food and service at the WFC were unbelievable. While we did not have our wedding at Whiteface Club and Resort I did have the pleasure of speaking with Kristin about potentially having our wedding there. I cannot express how greatly I appreciate the exceptional customer service she provided to me. Even though Whiteface did not fit our budget she was able to plan a day for us that would have been beautiful. Ultimately planning your wedding is a decision between the couple, and Whiteface was too far for some of our family (we live in NJ). Again I cannot express how wonderful Kristin was to work with over email, I cannot imagine the level of care you receive as one of her brides.

She was extremely responsive on all emails, requests, calls, and gave us fantastic suggestions for vendors to use. When it comes to the wedding day, she handles everything and lets you enjoy every second of your big day. She is so caring that when your wedding weekend is over, you are sad that you no longer have reasons to reach out to her. From the beautiful mountain backdrop, to the boathouse for cocktails, and then into the reception lodge, the venues continue to get better and better, which your guests will love. The food was fantastic (still getting compliments about a month out), the service at the bars was super fast, and the cake is great (we did funfetti, the best). This venue is beyond worth it and it will have your guests raving about your wedding for years to come. #TeamKristin

Where to even begin! The venue of course speaks for itself in that it has so much character and natural beauty, it's hard not to have a picture perfect event here. But it certainly helps to enhance the experience when the service is 5 stars all around and that is all due to the hard work and impeccable execution from Kristin Parker (the wedding coordinator) and her team!My (now!) husband and I wanted to find a venue that captured a romantic rustic feel and made our guests feel like they were taken to a different world. We took a ride to Lake Placid (from Long Island) with another venue in mind which we had thought was going to be \"the one\" but we didn't connect with the venue. The Whiteface Club was our next stop, and after taking 5 steps toward the wedding garden we immediately knew it was going to be our last! How could you NOT fall in love with that view and all of the beauty of nature surrounding you?! We finished our tour and our hearts (and eyes- yes we teared up!) were full- we just knew this was where we were going to celebrate our special day with the people we love most.Immediately upon inquiring about a tour of the property, Kristin was responsive and energetic- you could tell she was passionate about her job. Once we booked our date, the rest of the process was seamless. It STILL amazes me how much capacity she has for detail- it's almost as if you feel like you're the only wedding she's planning! She's truly invested in each of her clients special day!I could go on forever but I will just say our day was picture perfect- everything that Kristin and I had discussed logistically was executed exactly as planned and there were even little surprises where her and her staff went above and beyond what we expected. The staff was amazing, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the atmosphere is euphoric. Let's just say multiple friends who had weddings this year before us said \"that was the wedding of the year\"! We are still on a cloud and intend to make the Whiteface Club a home away from home each year :)

Our wedding at the Whiteface Club & Resort was nothing short of perfect. Almost all of my guests have told me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The views of the lake and flow of the event were noteworthy enough, but Kristin and her team really made the event a step above others. They 100% made all of my wedding dreams came true. Being an out of state bride, I was in the dark about vendors. Kristin was able to provide me with great recommendations, and make sure nothing fell through the cracks. Whiteface Club and Resort was a perfect choice for our wedding! The backdrop for the ceremony was stunning, the gardens were gorgeous creating a magical fairytale feel, and the food was delicious! Kristin and her team were absolutely INCREDIBLE and paid close attention to the small details all night to ensure a perfect and flawless day! Honestly, many of our guests said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Between Kristin Parker and the beautiful Whiteface Club property, choosing this venue was hands down the best wedding decision we made!

Our wedding weekend was perfect. The location is stunning from the ceremony over Lake Placid, cocktails at Moose Lodge and reception at club house. When you first start your venue search Kristin will walk you through everything and make the process enjoyable. The food is outstanding and the chef provides a variety of choices for you to pick from. Our guests commented that thing they would change is to have more cupcakes! The venue is set up to accommodate your dancing friends and those who choose to catch up on the deck under the starry night or even by the fire pit with smores. We told our family how amazing this place was but it wasn't until they walked through the garden path to the ceremony that they finally believed us! This will be the venue where your guests walk away saying the ceremony is the best part because of the truly breath taking view. We didn't have to worry about anything because of the staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort. Kristin from the moment we arrived for our wedding greeted us with a smile and answered all of our questions and last minute requests. She was everywhere during the wedding and took care of any issue that came up. Another wonderful thing about booking at the venue is Kristin works with all of your vendors on the day of so you can focus on your day. The musicians at the ceremony the florist, the photographer, the bus and our photographer all were instructed by Kristin on where to be. My now husband and I truly just enjoyed our day together with our family and friends and will be returning every year for our anniversary! Thank you to the amazing staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort.

The Whiteface Club & Resort was the first and only venue we looked at after we got a tip from a friend that it was the best place to get married in Lake Placid. Pro tip. We booked it on the spot without ever seeing it in person (though Kristin did give us a virtual tour!) - seems risky for your wedding venue, but it was the best decision ever. The property is amazing, the setting is breathtaking, the reception space is perfect, but most importantly, Kristin is a magician. Our wedding was Sunday of a long weekend. Kristin was planning another wedding that Saturday, and as we would later learn, another event for 200+ people that Monday. But you wouldn't know it. She was calm as can be the entire time, she made us feel like we were her only priority, and she and her team went above and beyond every step of the way with every detail. And, they were super flexible and able to turn on a dime for us when the weather did not cooperate. Kristin let us have until the last minute to decide whether to have the wedding indoors, which we ultimately did, and her team set up the indoor space and adjusted the plan for us on the spot. And if it happens that you get a rainy day too, fear not, the rain location (the Moose Lodge boathouse) is beautiful and so cozy. There was a fire lit in the fireplace, you could see rain pouring down onto the lake through the huge windows, and the space made for a very intimate setting for our ceremony. Our guests were surprised to learn it was the rain location. It was absolutely perfect -- and this is coming from someone who's only wish for my wedding was to have it outside. To say we had the wedding of our dreams feels like the understatement of the century, and we have Kristin Parker & the staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort to thank for exceeding ALL of our expectations in every way possible. Kristin Parker is SO much more than a wedding coordinator. She is a full wedding planner with impeccable taste & unparalleled knowledge about all the best vendors for any price point in literally every category based on exactly what you are looking for to realize your dream wedding. From day one, she made me feel like I was the only wedding on her plate for the year, despite actually having at least one wedding almost every week from the time we booked back in Jan. The list goes on forever, but a few pre-wedding highlights were helping us with booking all housing for our family and guests, doing a personal tasting for our families to decide the rehearsal dinner and wedding menus, letting us ship all of the items we needed directly to the venue, spending countless hours going over every detail so that I didn't need to worry about one thing the second I arrived in Lake Placid on Wednesday before our wedding, cheering me on for the Ironman I did a few weeks before our wedding, delivering all our 220 guest welcome bags to houses around WFC and Lake Placid, driving to Saranac Lake to buy the best local ice cream for our dessert table, putting on a mini-triathlon before our wedding for 70+ of our guests, and working off the clock with my mom to plan and host a brunch for 170 people the day after our wedding - all completely above & beyond the call of duty or what any wedding planner (let alone coordinator) would ever offer to do. She genuinely invests in and cares for her brides more than seems humanly possible, and I can honestly say I consider her more than a wedding planner or even friend - she really became family through the process! We encouraged our guests to stay on the WFC property and planned all of our activities there from Thur-Sun, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Our guests LOVED (and can't stop talking about!) the convenience of everything and being able to take advantage of all the Resort has to offer - golf, tennis, boating, swimming...not to mention the awesome restaurants right on the property. Our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse was an absolute dream, including a surprise trip out on the Lake in their new wooden boat with cocktails and a spread of appetizers to die for. The wedding garden the next day with pristine Lake Placid in the background was the most magical setting on earth for our wedding, and despite some hecticness with a few sudden rain showers, Kristin and the staff helped us all stay calm, seeing to every detail so we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The food and drinks couldn't have been better (and that is incredibly impressive considering they were serving 215 people!), the venue couldn't have been more beautiful and Kristin and her team truly couldn't have done a better job pulling off the most magical wedding we could possibly imagine. The only mistake you could make would be NOT booking WFC for your wedding if you are looking in the Adirondacks/Lake Placid!! Thank you Kristin, Mark and all of WFC for everything you did to give Jay & me the absolute BEST wedding & most special weekend of our lives - it truly exceeded even our wildest dreams!

Perfection. That is the best way to describe our wedding at Whiteface Club & Resort. We were married in May 2017 and could not have asked for a better location to start the rest of our lives together. Living out of state, Lake Placid is our favorite place and we knew it would be a wonderful location for our family and friends to share our special day. We looked at several sites in the area and Whiteface Club & Resort left us speechless! The grounds are impeccable, the food is stellar and the views breathtaking! We had a small ceremony in the wedding garden and cocktail reception in the Boathouse. The Boathouse fireplace kept guests comfortable and cozy with panoramic views of the Adirondacks on all sides of the room. Kristin, the wedding coordinator, is like a fairy godmother and it was just wonderful to have a wedding coordinator right at the venue so we didn't have to hire someone and could use that extra money for the ceremony. She made everything so special for us. It rained the morning of our wedding day, but Kristin was so upbeat and updated us on the weather, reassuring us the storms would pass. She was right! At the time of our ceremony the clouds departed and it was glorious! She helped me with my gown as I prepared to walk down the aisle and she was truly so excited and happy for us! We just love Kristin and all that she did to make our wedding day so very special! We are honored to have shared our day with her and the team at Whiteface Club & Resort. For couples looking to get married in Lake Placid and the Adirondacks, do not waste your time looking at other venues! Kristin and Whiteface Club & Resort will not disappoint you! We just got married here on January 7, 2017 and it was the most perfect day!I have a lot of good things to say, but I’ll start with Kristin Parker, the on-site event coordinator. She’s the most organized, detail-oriented, knowledgable person… yet she’s incredibly calm, down-to-earth, and kind! I’m a very specific person and emailed her A LOT during the course of a year when we planned our wedding. She was so communicative and offered incredible guidance and truly helped us bring our dream day to life! She really went above and beyond on our big day too, keeping everything running smoothly and especially going out of her way and helping us diffuse a stressful situation with our shuttle. I feel like she’s not only someone who played a huge role in our wedding, but someone who has become a friend.We also got tons of compliments on the food here! This doesn’t happen at a lot of weddings, and we had a big wedding with a lot of “wedding vets” (our friends in their late 20s and early 30s who have been to countless weddings in the past few years AND family/friends who are older and have been to many weddings in their lifetime) and people from the NYC area (“foodies”). Everyone was raving about the food, and my husband and I agreed. The steak was juicy, the chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the vegetarians in our group also had great things to say. The cake was so delicious that people had multiple pieces and it went FAST. We also cheated and already had a bit from our top anniversary tier because we were so impressed with the bites we had during the cake cutting!We also had a lot of friends/family tell us that it was the most incredible and unique venue they had ever been to—there are views of Whiteface Mountain, it’s ON the shores of Lake Placid, and has an unparalleled ADK charm, both inside and out.Our wedding took place on the perfect snowy, wintry day, and Kristin and the staff at WFC really worked hard to make a lot of winter wedding details come to life. We had horse-drawn sleigh rides, spiked hot chocolate for signature drinks, a bonfire with s'mores, and tons of little details and signage that they helped bring together! Thank you guys so much for everything! We can’t wait to come back and visit WFC and Kristin, and we get so excited about bringing our kids here someday to show them the magical spot where we got married. You truly become family once you have a wedding here, and that doesn't happen at many other venues!

Ben and I got married on October 29th at Whiteface Club & Resort and couldn’t be happier with our decision. BEST DAY EVER!! I have always dreamt of a fairly tale wedding and Kristin, the staff and the venue delivered on our every wish. After the tour and booking the venue, we had 6 short weeks to plan our dream wedding. Kristin made it feel stress free by helping answer all our questions which we threw at her day and night. She never ceased to amaze us with her help, patience and understanding of our vision for the perfect wedding day, not only for us, but our family and friends also.We were planning for an outdoor ceremony at the end of October and the weather was a definite concern. We arrived at the venue a day before the wedding, and rain was in the forecast. Kristen went over all of our options with us in case the weather forced us to have an indoor ceremony. The gardeners were prepared, the boathouse was set up in case of heavy rain, and the outside was also ready to go so we could make a last minute decision with little to no worry. Both options were beautiful, however Kristen was determined to have the ceremony outside like we wanted. Although we thought that the rain was our worst fear, it turned out to be an amazing memory. The pictures with everyone holding a matching umbrella were unique and priceless. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. Kristen and the staff are truly prepared for anything so you can enjoy your special day. It meant the world to us that our family, friends, and vendors felt at home at the Whiteface Club & Resort from the moment they arrived. None of us wanted the night to end, it was truly magical. I don’t feel as if this review would be complete without mentioning the beautiful gardens, exquisite scenery (rain, snow or shine) and wonderful staff, including Kristin who was more like a close friend helping to plan our special day. Celebrating our wedding at the Whiteface Club & Resort was the best decision we could have possibly made!!

Our wedding at the Whiteface Club & Resort was absolutely magical. From day one we were sold on the venue's rustic Adirondack feel, and it's amazing location on Lake Placid. We planned our wedding for October, hoping for the best, as we wanted to have our ceremony outside in their incredible gardens by the lake. A few days before the wedding, we realized that the weather wasn't going in our favor. It only took a quick call to Kristin, the wedding coordinator who works for the venue, to figured out a plan B. It snowed 5 inches on our wedding day, and it couldn't have been more magical and cozy. Our guests had a blast and enjoyed a fire roaring in the fireplace, amazing food and marveled over the birch cake. Kristin was such a great help, and helped our day go seamlessly from the ceremony to the last dance. I would recommend this venue to anyone in a heart beat.

Our guests had a blast and enjoyed a fire roaring in the fireplace, amazing food and marveled over the birch cake. Kristin was such a great help, and helped our day go seamlessly from the ceremony to the last dance. I would recommend this venue to anyone in a heart beat.

We definitely recommend that you book your wedding with the Whiteface Club and Resort!! The venue is absolutely stunning, the wait, bar, and kitchen staff are incredible - and Kristin Parker who is the events coordinator is absolutely amazing at her job and a pleasure to work with! She cares so much about the details of every single wedding and making sure that the bride and groom have the most perfect wedding day from the day you sign the contract all the way through. We could not be happier that we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at WFCR and work with Kristin and her team. We were married in the most picturesque place on earth - the mountains are of course beautiful, and the gardens maintained by WFCR truly take your breath away. On top of that the venues (ceremony lawn, boathouse, and reception hall) are perfect, the food was great, and there is a really awesome bar selection! It is a great feeling to look back on our wedding day without a single regret or bad memory - it was everything we could have imagined it to be and so much more. Don't drag your feet on deciding to book this venue because dates fill up quickly - you won't regret it!

We heard of the club's remarkable work at making 'one of a kind' and 'perfect' weddings so we decided to get a tour; we booked before the end. That being said, Kristin and the entire staff at the club totally blew us away, exceeded our every expectation, and topped it all off with a million and one surprises! Their dedication to details and seamless execution came through in every aspect of our special day. You start with the picture perfect venue… award winning gardens and views of Whiteface Mountain on Lake Placid tied with the boathouse, and the rustic yet elegant Adirondack clubhouse. Kristin Parker is more of a wedding 'fairy godmother' over wedding planner who ensures your wedding day is fairy tale perfect. Chef Matthew Baldwin sat with us and our families to plan out a custom menu (we ended up with tuna wontons, butternut squash and asiago risotto balls, duck confit spanakopita, a duet of crab cakes and braised short ribs – all so delicious). The entire team was professional, efficient, and clearly loves what they do. With so many options to couples, it can get overwhelming to pick, however, at the Whiteface Club should not be missed. We truly cannot thank everyone at the club for making our wedding absolutely perfect in every way!

Quite simply, our wedding at Whiteface Club and Resort was pure magic. How to put into words? The scenery, the setting, the gardens... all simply breathtaking. We and all of our guests were all equally astounded by the beauty and utter perfection of the setting. And what can be said about Kristin and the staff? Again, how to put into words?! As I said to Kristin many times throughout, I was just so thankful that she was the one to be there just before walking down the aisle, guiding and coordinating the day. She genuinely loves her job and is sincerely moved and invested in the beauty and magic of your day. Even though she has clearly seen so many weddings, you get the feeling that your one special day is special to her too. Quite remarkable. Our wedding was a dream in every way. We had our wedding there on October 8th, 2016. Everything was wonderful, even in the rain. All of the guests commented on how lovely the venue was. One of the best parts about the venue was the wedding coordinator, Kristin. She was wonderful, she was there the whole weekend. After the weekend was over, both my mother and the groom's mother asked about Kristin because they felt she did a great job! I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else!

When you plan a destination wedding, you are more often than not selecting a venue for the setting more so than the food and services provided. However, when we chose The Whiteface Club & Resort, we got more than we could have asked for or imagined. From the first contact with Kristin Parker, it was obvious she loved what she did and was extremely conscientious in her role as a wedding planner. She was easily reached via phone and/or email and was very helpful in suggesting other vendors that would work well with us, both personally and professionally. Not only did she recommend these amazing wedding professionals, but also coordinated with them in the weeks leading up to the event as well as throughout the day itself so as to take the pressure and stress off of my husband and me. She attended to every detail on our wedding day and kept everything running according to schedule. She even went so far as to send a staff member to a local house under construction to request the workers take a 20-minute break from making noise so as not to disturb our ceremony. This attitude of hospitality and service was embodied in all of the staff: the chefs, servers, bartenders and even the gardeners. Our family and friends couldn’t have felt more welcomed. Our wedding was truly magical, from the wedding ceremony in the magnificent gardens on Lake Placid with the majestic Whiteface Mountain towering in the background, to the beautiful cocktail hour at the boathouse, and the incredible food served during both the cocktail hour and reception. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about all of it – the scenery, the food, and most importantly the warm hospitality and service. Getting married at The Whiteface Club & Resort is more than just getting married on Lake Placid; it’s like walking into a fairytale, where you are the prince and princess in this beautiful land where everyone smiles and attends to your every need. Kristin is more than a wedding planner; she’s a friend. Thank you all so very much for making this special day more than we could have ever dreamed it could be.

We couldn't have imagined a better place to get married. From the day you contact Kristen (wedding coordinator and resident angel.. more later!), you get personalized attention to create the day of your dreams, you never feel like a number like some other resorts. When we first visited, it was snowing, so we couldn't see how gorgeous the gardens are during their peak. But, we did see a couple who had been married 3 years prior at the resort coming back to visit and racing to hug staff members. It just reaffirmed how special this place was, that you are a part of their family. Needless to say we fell in love. From there, Kristin didn't disappear. She didn't just sell us on the place, she was our wedding coordinator and day of angel. We could call or text her any time and she gave us her honest opinion. It was just so natural, feeling like that friend you've known forever. Basically, a bride's dream! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, the weather outlook wasn't so hot. But, Kristin re-assured us that everything would be alright. And it was, we had 30 mins of non-rain to get the ceremony in and it was incredible. Then we shuttled everyone up to the club house, rather then the boat house as originally planned, for cocktails. The team at WCR made it perfect! There was even our beer canoe on the patio. O and the food... it was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked at medium for everyone I talked to and the veggie dish was a winner! By the end of the night, everyone had danced, eaten and drank their hearts out, helping us to make it a day we will never forget. Kristin and the Club is to thank for that. I can't wait to visit, like the couple we ran into, over the years and to relive the magic they created for us.

Two months ago, my fiance and I woke up to a cool, misty Saturday morning excited to be saying our vows in front of our family and closest friends. The day before, we had an Adirondack Blue sky above us as the amazing Kristin Parker walked us through our rehearsal and smoothed out all the wrinkles in the events of our wedding day. The whole weekend was simply magical. We decided to get married at the Whiteface Club and Resort about a year ago, but it was not until December that we called up Kristin to ask about availability. June 11th was the only date left, and so we took it. We knew that that the Adirondacks would present us with either a hot sunny day or a cool rainy one, and we loved either possibility as we enjoy all aspects of the area. We ended up with a rainy and misty day that really added a magical ambiance to the whole event. When the ceremony began, the rain had stopped and we were provided a window of time which allowed us to be married in the garden filled with Forget-Me-Nots! Kristin was wonderful helping us put together what would be a very intimate wedding. We only asked for recommendations about a photographer, as it would be family members and friends who put together the flowers, music for the night, as well as sing during the processional. Kristin and the staff went above and beyond in providing us the most exquisite hor d'oeuvres and dinner. Since we were such a small wedding, 28 people, we were able to have our dinner in the boathouse, which afforded us amazing views of Lake Placid all afternoon and evening. The ambiance was spectacular with the fireplace glowing while we danced the night away! The cake was designed like a birch tree and tasted awesome! Overall, we had a wedding as close to perfect as we could have asked for and it was in a large part due to the flexibility and foresight of Kristin! From the beginning, she becomes a close and personal friend, which makes the stresses that can arise seem like nothing because of her professional and personal attributes. She smiles with you and laughs with you and is simply wonderful to work with! She was there with us every step of the way! The Whiteface Club and Resort is an incredible venue with a mountain, lake, and gorgeous garden that is all brought to its height of awesomeness by Kristin and her staff! We knew that that the Adirondacks would present us with either a hot sunny day or a cool rainy one, and we loved either possibility as we enjoy all aspects of the area. We ended up with a rainy and misty day that really added a magical ambiance to the whole event. When the ceremony began, the rain had stopped and we were provided a window of time which allowed us to be married in the garden filled with Forget-Me-Nots! Kristin was wonderful helping us put together what would be a very intimate wedding. We only asked for recommendations about a photographer, as it would be family members and friends who put together the flowers, music for the night, as well as sing during the processional. Kristin and the staff went above and beyond in providing us the most exquisite hor d'oeuvres and dinner. Since we were such a small wedding, 28 people, we were able to have our dinner in the boathouse, which afforded us amazing views of Lake Placid all afternoon and evening. The ambiance was spectacular with the fireplace glowing while we danced the night away! The cake was designed like a birch tree and tasted awesome! Overall, we had a wedding as close to perfect as we could have asked for and it was in a large part due to the flexibility and foresight of Kristin! From the beginning, she becomes a close and personal friend, which makes the stresses that can arise seem like nothing because of her professional and personal attributes. She smiles with you and laughs with you and is simply wonderful to work with! She was there with us every step of the way! The Whiteface Club and Resort is an incredible venue with a mountain, lake, and gorgeous garden that is all brought to its height of awesomeness by Kristin and her staff! Getting married is a very expensive and stressful event; especially if you are an average person that makes an average amount of money. My husband and I got married at the Whiteface Club and Resort on July 17, 2016. We picked this venue for our morning ceremony and brunch reception because Kristin worked with us on budget and made this not only a positive experience but the dream wedding every couple deserves, no matter their price point. Kristin took the stress out of planning and we were able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. We had so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful the food and venue were. The location is ideal and everything came together perfectly. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

We got married at The Whiteface Club and Resort two weeks ago (07.16.16) and it was by far the best day of my life. Right after we got engaged, we stumbled across WFC when looking for venues in Lake Placid and emailed Kristin. After speaking with her and realizing there weren't many Saturdays left available in 2016 - we booked without even seeing it in person!! A month later, we found the time to go check it out and get a tour and I honestly could not have imagined a better setting for our wedding. Kristin Parker has been incredible these past 11 months in helping me plan and has always answered any questions quickly. Kristin becomes so involved in every aspect to make everything perfect and her love for weddings shows because she'll be crying right next to you in those final moments before you say \"I do\"! She's a wonderful friend. The venue is absolutely stunning!! Words cannot describe it and the food was delicious! Many of our guests have told us it was hands down the best wedding they've ever attended. Every small detail was handled and I could not have imagined a more perfect day. It exceeded our expectations by a long shot and I'm so very glad that we decided to book it that crazy day so many months ago with only Knot Reviews and pictures on the Internet to guide us. Thank you Kristin and WFC for a dream come true!

I cannot imagine a more beautiful venue. Food was delicious, Kristen Parker and her staff could not possibly have been more attentive and helpful. We got married the day after the Ironman and they were extremely flexible about holding the rehearsal early so that it wouldn't interfere with the race.. All my guests kept saying they had never been to such a beautiful wedding and I have to agree!!

The Whiteface Club & Resort was an amazing place to hold our wedding. The Mooselodge Boathouse and the Garden were both very beautiful and the food and open bar were terrific. My wife and I could not be more happy that we chose this venue. Kristin Parker, the wedding coordinator, was a huge help to us and we were very fortunate to have someone like her guide us through our most important day of our lives. I would recommend Whiteface Club & Resort to any couple that loves natural beauty, serenity, and peace. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Haleigh Hazard & Brooke Martineau (Manager) Hi!We are the wedding team here at Whiteface Club & Resort! We are here to help you from the day you book to the day you say \"I Do!\". We both love getting to know the couples, each wedding is a very personal experience for us and we want your day to truly be a dream come true. Brooke is a Lake Placid local who lives here with her husband (fun fact: she is got married HERE this year!) and their two dogs, Brody and Bentley. Haleigh moved here from MA with her fiancé, their dog, Charli, and their three cats! Both Brooke & Haleigh have a passion for coffee, food, and of course WEDDINGS!
