We had the most enchanting New Year's Eve Engagement celebration at this remarkable wedding venue. I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding service provided by Crystal and the entire team. A candlelit dinner in the Fireplace Dining room followed by the bistro light ambiance in the Garden Room created a magical atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.The culinary experience, by Chef Casey, surpassed all my expectations. The filets were cooked to perfection, and the lobster sauce paired with the risotto was nothing short of amazing. The timing of every element of the evening was flawless, with everything unfolding right on cue.The staff at the venue were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their talent and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the event. A special shout out to Crystal, the Director of Sales and Marketing, whose phenomenal expertise and dedication ensured that every nuance was remembered and attended to. From the initial planning stages to the execution of the event, Crystal and her team orchestrated a glorious experience. I felt incredibly taken care of and completely confident in their abilities throughout. The historic lodge provided such a charming and exclusive stay, and the view and sunset from the honeymoon suite was breathtaking. The staff's meticulous coordination efforts were evident in every detail, ensuring that our special moment, marked by a champagne toast, was seamlessly executed.In summary, Manhattan Beach Lodge, coupled with the expertise of Crystal, Casey, Cass, and the entire staff, contributed to an evening that exceeded our expectations. The level of service, attention to detail, and overall execution were nothing short of exceptional. It was truly a night to remember, thanks to the dedication and professionalism of everyone involved!!!!

1000000 times over will recommend Whitefish Lodge & Manhattan Beach Lodge! We had an outdoor ceremony on the beach at Manhattan which made the lighting and everything perfect, Crystal and her team were there every step of the way. Then reception back at Whitefish which was perfect for our guests to be able to go right up to their rooms. Food, drinks, rooms-everything was perfect! Everyone always told me something will go wrong, so I prepared as best I could-but truly nothing went wrong and we had the time of our lives!!! People still tell me that it was the best time and best food that they had had at a wedding 🤍 it was perfect and can’t explain it better than that. Thank you to the staff and Crystal for EVERYTHING!!!

The Whitefish Lodge was the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding with a one stop shop! We had our ceremony and reception here in late September and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. They enjoyed having all the wedding events at one location. Crystal who coordinated everything made the whole experience a breeze. We followed her template for the night and I'm so glad we did. She definitely knows what's she's doing with over 12 years experience planning weddings at the two locations in Crosslake. She was always responsive to our questions and was honest and upfront about all costs. The staff were over the top amazing and were there to help with anything we needed. The food was amazing, drinks were strong, beds comfortable, and prices were very reasonable for everything you get. I really appreciated the free night the Thursday before the Saturday wedding and time on Friday to set up our tables for escort cards & guest book, desserts, snacks, memorial, gifts, and kids activities. Thank you Crystal and staff for making it the most amazing wedding I could have ever asked for!!!

We had the best wedding we could have ever hoped for at the Whitefish Lodge. We wanted a place for all of our guests to stay and enjoy the night without having to leave afterwards and the Whitefish Lodge was the perfect location for that. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony and reception indoors where there is also a huge bridal suite for the bridal party. The wedding coordinator, Crystal, and all of her staff were extremely wonderful. They were easy to work with, so flexible, experienced, offered whatever we needed, helpful and so incredibly kind. They really made us feel right at home. Crystal will be there from beginning to end with whatever the bride and groom needed. They even had a full list of quality recommended vendors to choose from so wedding planning was a breeze. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Manhattan Beach Lodge. It was outdoors and right next to the lake. Our guests were so excited to be there because it is such a beautiful venue.We would definitely recommend having your wedding here as we had the best time of our lives.

Whitefish Lodge and Manhattan Beach Lodge are OUTSTANDING places to have your wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner at Manhattan Beach and our ceremony and reception at Whitefish. Crystal made the experience so easy! She’s incredibly professional but makes you feel so welcome and heard. Every time I had a question or needed to talk she was available and everything was handled perfectly. Everything she recommended was what we would have wanted! It’s clear she has years of experience under her belt! The lodges are so flexible and reasonably priced. My guests are still talking about how beautiful it was and how much fun they had. The food at both lodges were delicious. The workers were so kind and helpful to everyone. It was the perfect weekend!

We got married at Manhattan Beach Lodge in May of 2023. I could not have asked for a better wedding. We LOVED the venue, and so did our guests. It is extremely nice having the ceremony, dinner, and reception all at the same spot - and you can’t beat the beautiful view of the lake! Our day was smooth and well planned, all thanks to Crystal! Crystal is amazing at what she does and I would not have wanted to work with anyone else. She’s extremely accommodating, kind, fun, creative, and experienced! She truly wants the bride and groom to have the most amazing day. Crystal made the wedding planning process a breeze and answered all of our emails/questions in a timely manner. I can’t recommend Manhattan Beach Lodge enough!

We had a June Wedding at Manhattan Beach and it was amazing. The view was stunning, the location was perfect, it was truly more than we even pictured or expected. After the ceremony we had a reception at their other location Whitefish. Everything flowed smooth and went off without a hitch. The staff was amazing and the food was out of this world. Normally wedding food is just so so, understandably when you are serving 200 people at the same time. All of our guests loved the food. They kept raving about the flavors and were surprised how fast it was served. Most importantly, everyone was impressed that everything came out hot, it wasn’t like it was sitting waiting to be served.The night was absolutely amazing, everyone had a great time. It was so nice to have the Lodge to ourselves so people could use the grounds, the pool, the game room, just everything felt like being at a big cabin with your family for the weekend. It was also great that everyone could stay and no one had to worry about driving after the wedding.Throughout out whole experience Crystal was THE ABSOLUTE BEST to work with. We had some crazy ideas and her answers were ALWAYS “let’s do it” “of course” “yes!” We would ask her random questions and within minutes we would have an answer. We had other friends getting married at the same time of year and they did not have the same experience with their wedding planners. Every time I would hear stories about wedding planning, and the obstacles they encountered, I was so happy that we had Crystal! Truly a blessing! She made the entire process so stress free and easy! She really knows what she is doing!

Whitefish Lodge offered and delivered on everything we wanted for our wedding! Their wedding package was extremely flexible and customizable, even up to the day of the wedding, and Crystal was especially great to work with. She answered our multitudes of questions and requests from start to finish, and showed incredible professionalism and efficiency. They offer a very competitive and reasonable price, especially for the quality of services provided.The venue itself is reserved for the whole weekend, and we were able to arrive and start decorating immediately on Friday. Being able to have early access to the venue allowed us breathing room and preparation time, which was a huge bonus. We could choose whether we had the wedding indoors or outdoors on the day of, which alleviated any stress that could be caused by weather. The tables for the dinner and the chairs for the ceremony are set up by the venue staff as well, so there was not a lot that needed to be done for decoration, aside from setting up minimal decorations and flowers. Further, Whitefish has a great Rehearsal Dinner option, and the venue was very flexible with providing food for all dietary restrictions. The only, very minimal, concerns we had the day of were that the main stairs between the floors were a little difficult for our more elderly guests to walk on, and one of them did accidentally slip down the stairs. No one was seriously hurt though, and ultimately there is an elevator between all floors, which was very convenient. We would encourage elderly guests to book lower floor rooms or use the elevator. Additionally, the bridal suite’s lighting was a little harsh for hair and makeup, though that could be resolved with bringing in your own lights as well.We really wanted a centralized venue that guests could stay at, as half of our guests traveled from out of state, and we wanted them to be able to enjoy the experience fully and easily. Since the guests were able to stay at the lodge, we got significantly more time to spend with everyone, and all our guests expressed gratitude toward that convenience. Guests were able to enjoy the outdoors, the pool, the arcade area, the dance floor, etc. All guests had somewhere where they could go and be comfortable, which can be difficult to find at a wedding venue. Further, if guests wanted or needed to go outside the venue to explore, Whitefish Lodge is right by the Town Square, within walkable distance. We were also able to easily add guest entertainment such as a DJ, a slideshow, a photo booth, a dessert table, a late night snack table, places for games, etc. The venue also has a large selection for drinks, alcoholic or non alcoholic. By the end of the night, our guests had gone through the majority of the selections! Further, our guests raved at the late night snacks and s’mores bar, which many say made the wedding one of the best weddings they attended! We closed down the dance floor at 1:00 am, and it was a wonderful night! In conclusion, as many know, wedding planning can be very stressful, and the venue is honestly half the battle, but Whitefish made planning and the wedding itself feel very easygoing, and we knew we could trust the venue from the first meeting we had with Crystal. We highly recommend Whitefish Lodge and Suites as a venue, as they have so much to offer, and are truly a gem in the Lakes Area!

We were married here on October 22, 2022. Crystal was very helpful and thorough! I appreciate that once we showed up the Friday before, we were able to set up at our own pace, see the venue, and relax without feeling pressure. We had the ceremony on site and were able to escort our guests right to the reception hall. The kids were able to play in the arcade or go swimming which was great for them and everyone else! Staff was incredibly friendly and hard working and I hope they know how much we appreciate all they did for us. I would highly recommend Whitefish Lodge to anyone who wants to be married at a low stress and affordable venue. The rooms were nice and it was great for our family and friends who traveled so far to attend. The food was AMAZING and the decor was way more than we expected which added to our special day. Crystal, the event coordinator, was fantastic to work with. She was very on top of every detail and was always available to answer any questions that we had. On the day of, there were a couple of last minute things we needed and the facility staff got on them right away. Ex: a light bulb had burned out in the reception hall, and the maintenance staff fixed it within minutes. The food was delicious! Everything ran smoothly and it was nice being able to have our rehearsal on site, ceremony on site, and reception on site. Our guests liked the ease of being all together at one site.

Whitefish is very accommodating and everything is made as easy as possible for you. We chose Whitefish since they were very reasonable on pricing, you got a lot with your chosen package, great food, wonderful staff, and nights stay, a very beautiful venue as well. Our day couldn't have been any better! Crystal, the wedding coordinator at the Lodge is the absolute best and does so much for you and goes beyond expectations. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the area that gives you a great package for your wedding day!

Crystal is amazing at what she does! Very organized and knows what she is doing which made us feel comfortable and confident in having the Whitefish Lodge and Manhattan Beach Lodge for our ceremony and reception. Manhattan Beach was a beautiful ceremony location and we were luckily able to have wonderful weather! We even took off in our pontoon right after the ceremony for a fun “get away”! Whitefish Lodge was such a fun up north feel for our reception, elegantly rustic fit us perfectly! All the staff, at both locations, were so amazing at making not only my husband and I but all of our guests feel so welcomed and treated with so much happiness. Truly made our experience exceptional! I would recommend this venue to everyone!

Definitely would recommend Whitefish to anybody! My husband and I got the nicest room to stay in for the weekend. The grounds crew spent literally days getting outside ready for us to attempt out outdoor ceremony. Crystal is a literally angel as far as having everything in order for you and assisting in making sure the day goes as smooth as possible! The set-up was beautiful. I had nothing but compliments from my family as far as the lodge, wedding ceremony and reception set up! Also, my dog was a part of my wedding and the people at the front desk were so so sweet to her and gave her lots of treats for being a brave girl!

Whitefish was such a great venue from my reception. I had my wedding at a nearby church, returning to the lodge from the cold was welcoming and our guests had an excellent time. Most of my guests came in from out of town, and booked out the hotel. The whole weekend felt like a celebration, it was so much fun.Crystal and her team do a fantastic job. She's responsive, flexible, and makes the process easy and enjoyable. Her recommended vendors are great as well, I hired the DJ, hair/makeup, and flowers from her preferred vendor list, they all did a great job, and were familiar with the venue, so the day-of was a breeze and required little additional coordination.

Beautiful venue and reasonably priced! We loved that there was only 1 wedding a weekend at Whitefish Lodge. We were able to start decorating early and weren’t rushed. We got married at Manhattan Beach on August 7th, 2021 and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing and our guests are still raving about it. The outdoor area for the reception with close proximity to the DJ was exactly what we were looking for. There isn't a more beautiful place on the lake! Crystal was great to work with! Very responsive and knowledgeable. Everything was stress free for our big day! The staff was very friendly! We were very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend Manhattan Beach!

We had our wedding at Manhattan Beach Lodge in June 2021. It was the best day ever! We worked with Crystal for over a year to plan our day. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with, and she really took the stress out of wedding planning. All of the staff was so wonderful and kept the day moving smoothly. All of our guests raved about the day, the food and the location, saying it was the best wedding (and food) they've ever been to. I couldn't recommend this location more, it truly is the best place to get married!

LOVED this venue and would highly recommend. Crystal was amazing to work with. She was very quick to respond to my questions, very organized, and on top of everything for us. We had a lot of family and friends come up Friday for our rehearsal dinner and hangout. It was awesome to have the whole place to ourselves for the weekend. We received so many compliments about how great the food was, how clean the venue was, and how beautiful the whole property is. We chose the highest package which included centerpieces and loved them. The venue staff sets everything up that is in your package, and also takes it down. I loved being able to enjoy our entire reception and clean up my additional decor the next morning. The space itself is gorgeous and I only added minimal decor in addition to my package. I am so happy we chose Whitefish for our wedding and would highly recommend it!

I can't recommend Whitefish Lodge enough! An absolute dream to work with! We never once heard the word no. Every request was fulfilled without complaint. They even warmed up the pool water for us! The grounds and interior are breathtaking! The staff was always smiling, ready to help with anything. Our wedding was 3 weeks ago and our guests are STILL talking about the amazing time they had. We are even thinking of a group trip back to Whitefish with our wedding party for our 1 year anniversary! I honestly cannot think of 1 thing that I would change or do differently. Our 5 days with Whitefish were perfect beyond our dreams and we're so sad that it's over! If you're looking for an up north, all inclusive getaway for your wedding, it doesn't get any better than Whitefish Lodge. They literally have it all!

Our experience at Manhattan Beach was awesome. After having to replan our wedding due to COVID, the Manhattan Beach staff (specifically Crystal), were SO accommodating and willing to help us make our day so special. We rented the Garden Room (which was absolutely beautiful), dinner was delicious, and the venue even in mid-October was amazing. For anyone looking to get married in the Brainerd area, this is the absolute place to be.

The staff was incredibly accommodating! We could not believe how wonderful everyone was. Crystal kept in contact with us throughout the entire planning process. It almost felt like we were missing something because of how smooth everything was, but she did not leave a single detail overlooked. The venue is beautiful, and we got such lovely photos! It was the ideal balance of woodsy and elegant, and it appealed to all our guests. Many in attendance commented on how lovely the event was! Dinner service was super quick and hassle-free. Tables weren't waiting to eat while others were finished. Bar service was friendly and efficient. There was a fire going outside that our guests enjoyed. The charcuterie boards and late-night nachos were a hit! Even though we got married during a pandemic and it looked different from how we had planned, the night was a huge success and it was all thanks to the professionals at Whitefish!

From start to finish everything about our experience at Whitefish Lodge was incredible. They made everything so easy and seamless when it came to getting all the details together and ironed out. They made it so simple for us to get things set up as well in the reception hall - with the package we selected the centerpieces were pretty much taken care of and we just added our own little details and table numbers. What we loved the most was that everything was in one place. We had the ceremony in the main lodge and then dinner and dancing was just down the stairs in the reception hall. With it also being the hotel we didn't have to worry about guests needing to drive home (especially because we got one heck of a blizzard that night!) Crystal was awesome to work with. Really quick to reply to any and all emails and questions we had. What we were really impressed with was how quick the rehearsal was. They clearly have this down to a science and told us exactly where we needed to be and when. It was really helpful the day of the wedding when everything feels like it's chaos leading up to the ceremony and Crystal was there to tell us when to walk. I also needed to mention how great the rest of the staff was. We happened to get a snow storm that night (ended up with 17 inches of snow in the morning) and everyone there helped get cars uncovered, the parking lot plowed, and even provided shovels for people to clear more snow out from behind the cars. Many of our friends and family told us how helpful that was and how they appreciated the extra mile they all went. Overall, we would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting a wedding outside of the Minneapolis area. Just far enough north of the cities to get away and (if you're not getting married off-site) an all-in-one venue to keep things really stress-free. Thank you all again for making it such a fun and memorable weekend for us all and we hope to be back soon!

Working with Crystal Glaser throughout our wedding planning was flawless and wonderful and so much fun! She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, we never waited longer than a day to get a response back on something or even if she needed to get back to us, she would respond to let us know she was working on it, she was always keeping us in the loop. We didn't have to worry about anything, she never skipped a beat on any of the details. She made it stress-free, you knew she had it all handled. The flexibility she has to make just about anything happen is amazing, she set up an impromptu ceremony for us (that we had planned the day before) in less than 12 hours, there isn't anything that throws her off, she will do whatever she can to be able to accommodate what you need to make it your perfect day! We had our wedding at Manhattan Beach Lodge, the food is fantastic and the setting there is perfect and so beautiful right on the lake! We would absolutely recommend working with Crystal, we had an incredible experience and were so happy with everything! We would not have changed a thing!

Some highlights: Crystal & her staff were always extremely accommodating and easy to reach throughout the planning process; unique food options like a s'mores bar and late night nachos made our event stand out; completely transparent and honest pricing - no surprises, ever!; inviting reception space with fun fireplaces to decorate; lots of parking; no need to worry about transportation for guests. Crystal Glaser at Manhattan Beach Lodge was a dream to work with! I have been going to Manhattan’s for dinner since I was a child. When I became engaged last year, my fiance and I both immediately wanted it to be the venue for our ceremony and reception. Crystal worked with us every step of the way regarding food, set-up, lodging for our guests, indoor vs. outdoor ceremony, etc. She made suggestions, offered her insight and expertise, and recommended local vendors that were all superb. She answered my (many) questions and never made me feel like I was “high maintenance.” Crystal and her event team are clearly a well oiled machine and the food was amazing too! Daryl, the Bartender was also a champ! He was hilarious and so kind to all of our guests, even as the night got later and we got louder. Our wedding was everything we could have wanted and more. Thank you to the entire team at Manhattan Beach Lodge! It was a day we will never forget and we will be back for dinner soon!

Fairy-Tale Wedding a RealityOur entire experience with Whitefish Properties was absolutely fabulous - from our first steps onto the venue to our last. The on-site coordinator, Crystal, truly helped make my fairy-tale wedding a reality! Two months after the wedding and I am still hearing positive comments from our family and friends that attended.We had our ceremony for 170 people outside at Manhattan Beach with the wedding party on the dock. We then held our reception at Whitefish Lodge & Suites. We had Whitefish Lodge & Suites completely booked on Saturday, and mostly booked on Friday evening. This really made this a destination wedding feel for the wedding party and the guests. Crystal and the rest of the folks at Whitefish/Manhattan made our wedding planning and coordination so easy, which was so greatly appreciated! Everyone was very easy to work with and always accessible with very quick turnaround with communication, which was crucial since we were planning our up north destination wedding from the Maple Grove area. From the minute we arrived for our wedding weekend, everything went extremely smooth and that would not have been possible without Crystal and the rest of the folks at Whitefish Properties. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to plan an up north destination wedding! We truly lucked out finding this venue and will definitely be frequent visitors!

My husband and I planned our wedding for a year and a half.Crystal was so great with the planning down the road even though it was a ways out. She was on the ball with every detail from the beginning to end, even when I was so indecisive on a lot of things. She was so kind and helpful with every little questions I had for her.When I comes to the venue, again amazing. The lodge was so welcoming and warm. No matter what staff memeber I had spoken with, house keeping, front desk etc, I felt important. All my needs were met without attitude or annoyance. My guests had nothing but great things to say about this venue.For the wedding aspect of the venue: PERFECT. The outside grounds are so beautiful and full of life. Inside, just beautiful. I can go on and on, but honestly I couldn’t imagine having my wedding at any other venue. My dreams literally came true at whitefish, my husband and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything.

We had our wedding reception at Whitefish Lodge & Suites and it was AMAZING! The staff at the lodge were so accommodating to the requests and needs of myself and our guests for the entire weekend. With our wedding being somewhat of a destination for almost all of our guests, many decided to make a weekend out of it and arrived the day before. We wanted to spend time with our guests who arrived early but didn’t want to host a large formal dinner. Instead of a groom's dinner, we did a groom's luncheon with our wedding party only at a local restaurant and then headed back to Whitefish to be with our 80+ guests that were already there. We used the outdoor space behind the lodge to set up yard games, a root beer float social, and pizzas (Rafferty’s Pizza is located across the street). It was like two big family reunions and mixer the night before the actual wedding and the space at Whitefish Lodge couldn’t have been more perfect for that! The day of our wedding, Crystal and staff took care of details that I didn’t even know to think about. The banquet room was perfect for our wedding of 150 people as it had enough space for dining tables, a dance floor, several cocktail tables, gift/cake tables, and a bar all in one area. It was great for keeping the party going because everyone was having fun in the same space whether they were chatting at the tables, getting a drink from the bar, or dancing to the music. One of the things we loved most about having our wedding at Whitefish Lodge was its quaintness. With approximately 50 rooms, our wedding guests booked out nearly the entire lodge the night of the wedding so it felt super exclusive. Looking back at the weekend, being the only wedding at the lodge was something that I think really helped create the fun atmosphere we had hoped for. It was so easy to customize our wedding weekend with Crystal and I don’t think we would have been able to do that if we had selected a larger hotel or resort that hosts multiple weddings a day. In our planning, we didn’t think that being the only wedding was a priority of ours but now, I think that was essential to the overall “perfectness” of our day. All in all, everything went smoothly the entire weekend and the amount of fun we all had really reflected that. Crystal and the staff at Whitefish are some of the best and they really made us feel like we were their top priority from the early planning stages to the day of the actual wedding. I have heard nothing but positive comments from our family and friends and would absolutely recommend Whitefish Lodge & Suites!

Crystal was INCREDIBLE to work with! She made everything so simple especially when planning from 3 hours away. She's so quick to respond and completely put our minds at ease whenever we had a concern pop up.We had our ceremony outside at Manhattan Beach and guests loved that they could grab a drink at the Tiki bar beforehand. The lake provided a beautiful backdrop!Our reception at Whitefish was everything we could have imagined. When we arrived to start setting up, all the tables, chairs and linens were already ready to go. The day-of ran so smoothly because of Crystal and her team. Even with a few hiccups on our end, it was so stress-free and Crystal made sure we didn't have a care in the world during our special day. Everyone loved the food and so many people are still talking about how great the venue was. Whitefish even put up signage to wish our guests \"safe travels\" afterwards, which was a super sweet touch. We truly can't recommend Crystal, Whitefish & Manhattan Beach enough!

We literally had the BEST wedding ever at Whitefish Lodge April 14, 2018. From the moment we got there, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! From the beginning, the staff was more than accommodating. Crystal was there for us every step of the way throughout the weekend. As a bride, I didn’t have a care in the world, and was stress free (hard to say for a bride) the whole weekend so I could focus o spending time with my guests. The banquet hall was beautiful from the start, and the staff did everything for us to make our decorating that much easier! The food was perfect and everyone loved the appetizers we had for cocktail hour. Everything was literally perfect, and we had no worries the whole weekend, except for the epic snowstorm in April in Minnesota :)! Our guests couldn’t get over how beautiful the lodge was, and how beautiful and clean the rooms are. The kids loved the pool and arcade, and even the adults loved the arcade! We were even able to use the lodge for Friday to entertain our guests with the great pizza place across the street (Rafferty’s) and let us have alcohol onsite! I also heard from numerous guests that this was the best wedding they had ever been to! We highly highly recommend Whitefish Lodge for weddings, and will be staying there on our anniversaries for years to come! Thanks again Whitefish!

YES YES and more YES. Whitefish was everything we were looking for. Crystal and her team had the wedding planning process down to a science, and it showed. Her questions were concise (as a bride, questions are flying at you from every.single.person, so it was a relief to have Whitefish bearing concise questions), had a real impact on the day, and helped her deliver what we were looking for. Sometimes it's nice just to do what the venue does, which is what we chose to do, and they delivered my dream day. Everyone loved the venue and it was so nice for our guests to be able to just come right from their room, to the ceremony, eat, dance, and drink downstairs, and retire to their rooms by the end of the night. No need to worry about driving! The venue itself is very woodsy and they sure did a great job decorating it to make you feel like you are inside of a cabin at all times. I absolutely loved it. PS- Crystal has fantastic taste, so it was really nice to have someone their to bounce ideas off of if I was feeling a little overwhelmed. She was awesome.

We cannot say enough about Crystal and our experience at Manhattan Beach Lodge. Like our most cherished Minnesota cabin weekends, our wedding weekend was incredibly fun, relaxed, refreshing all the while surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Woods. Our great experience was made possible by the outstanding venue, Crystal and the Manhattan Beach Lodge staff. Having the venue to ourselves for the weekend made for an intimate atmosphere, and made logistics, especially for families with children, very easy. Crystal is resourceful, organized, a complete bulldog when it comes to getting things done. Upon meeting, we were immediately comfortable putting our wedding weekend in her hands. She works magic behind the scenes, and commands the crew when necessary amidst any wedding weekend pandemonium. Months leading up to the wedding, she was always willing to meet, answer our questions, and rarely took more than an hour to answer an email. Amongst everything, Crystal is laid back, fun loving and caters to most requests no matter how unique. While having just met, it felt like a good friend was helping us plan and execute our wedding. It’s evident in getting to know Crystal she is passionate about each couple she works with and making their dream wedding weekend a reality. I cannot say enough how simply amazing our experience and day was at Whitefish Lodge!! We received so many compliments from guests about the quality of the food and the venue as well. Crystal made the whole process simple and listened to our input. The day was all about us and set up just how we wanted it. Crystal was also able to help one of our guests find a campground for them to stay at rather than the hotel. The lodge was the perfect setting and the flexibility of an indoor or outdoor ceremony really takes some of the stress off the couple. I would highly recommend this location to ANYONE!

I am so glad we chose Whitefish Lodge as our wedding venue. Planning and organizing all of the details of the day was an easy and smooth process thanks to Crystal, who always immediately responded and helped me out with anything I needed. The only real issue we encountered was a slight room booking mistake, but the staff was quick to correct the mistake and everything worked out perfectly. If I had to do things all over again I would absolutely still choose to have my wedding at Whitefish Lodge!

We went through Whitefish Lodge and suites for our wedding ceremony and reception venue. Crystal and her crew did an amazing job with setting up our ceremony and reception spaces, took care of lighting all of our candles, and kept the entire day (and all the planning) flowing smoothly to alleviate any and all stress. The food was awesome, plenty of options for all budgets and dietary needs. They have space for ceremony both in and outdoors...which is perfect when you take the unpredictable Minnesota elements into consideration. The staff were super friendly and our guests loved that everything (ceremony, reception, and hotel) was all in one place. It is a great environment for kiddos of all ages (0-97+) to have fun and enjoy wedding festivities. I would totally recommend this venue for anyone wanting a classic \"north woods\" wedding!

Whitefish was a wonderful venue for our wedding. Everything was all on site and perfect for our friends and families. We booked the whole venue for our wedding day and it was great to have only our friends and families at the resort for the weekend. Crystal was amazing to work with and so responsive every time we had a question or needed something or make a change to our contract. I would highly recommend Whitefish. If I could do it all over again, I would for the mere fact of how much fun everyone had and how convenient and beautiful Whitefish is. Everyone is still talking about our wedding and the venue. Thank you, Crystal, and Whitefish, for making our wedding the best day of our lives. We will be back to visit. I just can’t say enough great things about our Wedding weekend at Whitefish!!

Our daughter had her wedding at Manhattan Beach Lodge this past weekend. My daughter wanted a outside venue with beautiful scenry, dinner and hotel accomodations right there at one spot. Manhattan offered all of that and then some. The venue is truly beautiful and the food is incredible. Crystal (wedding coordinator) did a fantastic job for us. She made sure all details were fulfilled. She was very prompt with answering e-mails, and helped make sure all our wishes materialized.Daryl (bartender) was very helpful, respectful and kind as well. We could not be more pleased.

Whitefish Lodge and Suites was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was right there, Ceremony on the lawn, Reception downstairs. The venue was rustic and large. We only had 110 guests but it didn't feel empty, there was plenty of room for dancing and a photo booth. The food was delicious and drinks were strong.

Whitefish and Manhattan were great! I would choose them again for my wedding if I had to do it all over. They were very accommodating to all my guests and last minute room changes/reception hall changes. Crystal is amazing and makes the whole process smooth, she has great ideas and is flexible. This wedding venue was everything that we were hoping for and more! We were married on June 24, 2017; our ceremony was at Manhattan Beach Lodge and our reception was at Whitefish Lodge and Suites. Both venues are absolutely stunning and provided us with beautiful backdrops for both events. The food was the best that I had ever had at a wedding and all of the staff was wonderful. Crystal was an absolute lifesaver-she walked us through every step of the wedding process and was a joy to work with. She catered to all of our requests in order to make our wedding weekend exactly what we wanted it to be and was so great at communicating and keeping in touch with us throughout the entire planning process! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to begin our life together!

We were married at Whitefish Lodge on June 10, 2017. It was the BEST DAY EVER. I have absolutely NO regrets about having our wedding at Whitefish Lodge. We have heard sooo many people say it's been the best wedding they've been to. We were able to get in to the banquet hall on Thursday to start decorating and didn't have to have our items out until Sunday. I also got the package where the center pieces and everything were included. This part made it sooo stress free for me. I was all about making it easiest on myself!! Ha! Crystal made everything else go so smooth and she is seriously so quick to respond to any inquiry you have throughout the process. She eased my mind about everything! I wish we could go back there and redo everything because it was SO MUCH FUN and such a great day! Our guests loved having everything all in the same spot...ceremony, reception and their lodging! Our reception went until 2 am! (WOO!) and then people went out to the campfire until about 4:30 am...Talk about a GOOD TIME! I also keep hearing from people about how much they liked the food. We had the chicken w/peppercorn sauce and baby red mashed, green beans, etc. So delicious! I can't rave enough about Whitefish Lodge and Crystal. HAVE YOUR WEDDING THERE-- You will NOT regret it! :) Can't wait to go back for our anniversary next summer!

Manhattan Beach Lodge was the perfect place for our small, intimate wedding. The event coordinator, Crystal, was great to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. The wedding day went smooth and the timing of events followed my wedding day itinerary perfectly. The entire staff were so nice and accommodating. The variety of food choices they offer is amazing, and the food was so delicious! The venue itself is gorgeous even without decorations. It’s right on the lake and has a warm, inviting feel to it. Our guests appreciated that the ceremony, reception, and lodging were all at the same location. We also really liked the fact that the lodge is closed to the public on the day of the wedding. It made our day that much more special and it made me feel better knowing that it was only our group there for our private event. I highly recommend Manhattan Beach Lodge!

Absolutely gorgeous all the way around!! Crystal is amazing to work with! Our guests loved the place, loved the feeling of the place, and were more than happy with our food selection! I definitely recommend Whitefish Lodge and Suites, I can't wait to return and stay! Whitefish Lodge and Suites is definitely now one of our favorite places to escape to!

Whitefish Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding celebration! We knew we wanted something that was able to hold the ceremony, reception, and lodging all in one area and our guests loved it too! It was a huge bonus that we were able to set up on Thursday, which allowed us to enjoy Friday. The staff at the Lodge was always so helpful and Crystal always responded back to my emails in a timely manner! We also loved that we were able to host our rehearsal dinner at the Lodge and bring in our own food & drinks. Everything about our day was amazing and since we reserved the entire lodge for our guests, the DJ was able to play until 2am! We have no complaints about Whitefish, it was everything we wanted and more!

Whitefish Lodge and Suites was the perfect place to have our ceremony and reception. The wedding was above our expectations and we stayed on a budget. The wedding was during the off season so we saved 50% on our wedding package. The hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious! Crystal is the event coordinator and she is so much fun to work with. She will make the planning process easy and less stressful.If you are interested in having a beautiful, rustic and simple wedding, please go to Whitefish. I know my husband and I will be back for our 1 year anniversay.

Whitefish Lodge is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Working with Crystal made our whole wedding process so smooth. From the day of booking the venue to the day after our wedding, she was there for all our questions and concerns. The best part about Whitefish, and the part that we received most of our compliments on was how everything is right there. Our guests were able to go to the ceremony, reception, and stay in the hotel all in one place; no traveling from one place to another! The rooms are beautiful and affordable for guests. We were able to decorate on Thursday night, and did not have to clean up our decorations until Sunday, letting us enjoy ourselves on Friday and Saturday night, after the wedding; this was huge! The day of the wedding Crystal and the staff did so much, it made our day stress free. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Whitefish Lodge.

We got married on 12/3/16 at Whitefish Lodge and Suites in Crosslake, MN. They gave me my dream wedding! I wouldn't have changed one single thing. All the details were perfect and the staff was wonderful as well! The food for dinner was out of this world - my groom, an extremely picky eater, had zero complaints! Now that's hard to do! Crystal, the wedding coordinator, was amazing and so prompt when answering my many e-mails regarding reception details. She was so awesome to work with.

We had such an amazing wedding experience at Manhattan Beach Resort!!! It was nice to have everything at one location from the hotel, to the ceremony, to the reception; it made it so easy and comfortable. The staff were so warm and welcoming and helpful!! Crystal did a great job helping us organize everything and prepare for our big day. We would highly recommend Manhattan Beach Resort and we continue to receive compliments on our location and food. Joanna and I got married at Manhattan Beach Lodge on 10/1/2016. We decided to have everything there (ceremony, reception). It is such a perfect venue! Some of the highlights, and why we would highly recommend this venue for your wedding:1) The setting is gorgeous. If you haven't been to Trout lake on the whitefish chain, you will love it the moment you see it. Summer is beautiful, and Fall gets really pretty with the colors. Our wedding was 70 and sunny in October! Huge bonus: they always have a backup plan if weather doesn't allow an outdoor ceremony. We had flexibility to decide morning of if we wanted to have the wedding indoor in a room with a view of the water. Inside or out, it will be beautiful - trust me!2) Everything you need is right on site. The outdoor lawn for ceremony, restaurant, hotel rooms, dining room, dance floor, bar inside & outside, fire pits & tiki bar really provide everything you need with minimal effort on your guests getting place to place. This was a huge benefit to my family as most came from out of state and didn't know the area at all. Not to mention, the building itself is the definition of the 'rustic' or 'lodge' atmosphere that we really wanted from our wedding. Beautiful wood décor inside, great views of the water, and a true up north Lodge feel. 3) The food & service was top notch. Absolutely zero complaints from anyone! The bacon wrapped pork tenderloin was a hit, and the walleye as a Minnesota staple was a great choice!4) Crystal Glaser, the person in charge of booking & putting on the weddings, was absolutely great to work with. She was SO on top of things, helped answer questions in pre-planning that we didn't even know had to be asked. One of my fears with wedding planning was how little I knew about it... but having Crystal on our team put us at ease. On the day of the wedding she was a huge asset as well! Really took charge to make sure everything went off without a hitch, moved the guests along from outside to inside, and handled any last minute requests that came up. LOVE Crystal, and you will too!Again - highly recommend you go with this venue. Manhattan Beach Lodge is the place to get married!Thanks so much to Crystal and the team for making our day perfect!

We had our wedding at Whitefish Lodge on 09/24/16, and selected the Whitefish Wedding Package. It was so great to have absolutely everything taken care of from table linens/sashes to centerpieces and more. Crystal and her team are on the ball and have everything very well streamlined. We were able to get into the lodge and reception space as early as the Thursday late afternoon/evening for our minimal final touches, and had the entire reception area thru Sunday afternoon. The reception space is beautiful and needed minimal decor, which is a huge plus since we didn't need to bring anything more than our table numbers, place cards, and a few decorations for the mantles (knotty pine walls, 2 river rock fireplaces with log mantles). It's a very warm space. The food is spectacular! -All our guests loved it, and it was exactly as it tasted at our food tasting. Crystal checks every plate as it is prepared and before it is served. Price per plate was very reasonable (especially compared to the cities). The Whitefish Wedding Package is worth every penny -everyone loved being greeted with butler passed champagne. The linens and centerpieces were beautiful, and it was so great to not have to think about bringing our own or hiring another company for it (with the exception of the ceiling tulle and lighting). Room blocks were a concern for us since 95% of our 225 guests were traveling. Between the lodge and Sundance Ridge, they were able to accommodate almost all of those who needed lodging as we kept maxing out our room block. The lodge provides a fun and relaxed environment, and made the weekend so easy, relaxing and enjoyable.

We cannot say enough great things about Whitefish Lodge! Crystal is amazing and so easy to work with. She made sure that our day went just as we wanted it to. You can tell just how much pride she takes in her work when planming with her. Whitefish Lodge is a beautiful place for a wedding; we could not be any happier with our choice of venue!! Our guests all complimented on the beauty of the lodge and the backyard ceremony. They also raved about the food, it was amazing! My husband and I would highly recommend Whitefish Lodge for your wedding venue!!

We had an appointment booked to tour the venue today at noon and working on a tight time schedule since we had first booked to tour another venue at one. However, we had booked the 1pm tour first and told them about the time crunch and we were told it would be fine because the venues weren't far away from each other. We showed up on time and the poor girl at the check in desk had 3 people in line (we were the 2nd of 3) and 4 phone calls at the same time. By the time she got to us she informed us the person assigned to take us on the tour wasn't even there and the girl behind the desk sent a text to the person we had arranged and confirmed the appointment with and she would get back to us when she could. We walked around aimlessly until 12:20 and left feeling disappointed because my fiancé and I live 3 hours from here and this was the only time we could see these places. (I grew up around here so I would like to get married around here) Still giving them the benefit of the doubt, I've waited 10 hours for, at minimum, an apology email. I wouldn't have posted a review had I gotten that tiny bit of courtesy since things happen and there could be a perfectly good explanation for being stood up. I wouldn't trust them with one of the most important days of my life if they can't even send an I'm sorry email.

We had our ceremony and reception at Whitefish and everything was absolutely perfect. We knew from the minute we met Crystal that we would choose Whitefish as our wedding venue. From the first meeting with Crystal, to the food tasting, to the big day, and all of the emails in between, everything went smoothly. The staff at Whitefish were an amazing group of people to work with. We recommend Whitefish to anyone looking for a stress free wedding day-you will definitely be taken care of!

Flawless execution doesn't even begin to explain the venue and what it offers to a wedding party. Not only from the food but to the scenery and yet how absolutely genuine the entire staff. Now with staff in mind, there is Crystal Glaser the coordinator. Crystal was always one step ahead and also produced well above expectations I could ever imagined. It is sad to see it end, but know that for a lifetime forward, Manhattan will be a second home and Crystal is near and dear to not only me, but our friends and family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our experience at Whitefish Lodge was the best! We had plans to have an outdoor ceremony at Manhattan Beach Lodge with a reception at Whitefish to follow. When weather turned rainy and we were forced to have our ceremony indoors, Crystal and her team were there to make the transition very easily. The best part about having our wedding at Whitefish was that there was a beautiful indoor area to have the wedding, so the rain didn’t ruin our day. Throughout the planning process, Crystal was very quick to respond to my many questions, and having her available to us the night of the wedding helped everything go smoothly. I had many guests comment on how beautiful the venue was and how accommodating the staff were. For all the reasons listed above, I would highly recommend Whitefish/Manhattan Beach to anyone looking for a location for their wedding/event.

We just got married here July 30, 2016! We had nothing but an amazing experience with this venue! Crystal helped make the experience so personably and fitting to us as a couple! The venue, food, staff and the entire experience was above and beyond what we could have ever wished for!! On our drive home we had talked about how we wouldn't have wanted our special day any other way! Crystal and all the staff definately helped make that happen, from giving us the key to the banquet hall and meeting room (for the weekend), to lighting all the candles and turning on all the lanterns! I absolutely loved being able to set up Thursday night and they were so relaxed with letting us clean up Sunday and even into Monday!! The relaxed cabin feeling was perfect for us and we highly recommend this venue!!!

As you go through the wedding planning process it is so hard to know if you made the right decision. Now that everything is said and done, we can say with 100% confidence that we did. Manhattan & Whitefish were great value for money, could comfortably host 250 wedding guests, had incredible quality food, beautiful accommodation rooms, and provided us with the best of both worlds for a wedding that included indoor and outdoor aspects. Whitefish & Manhattan Beach were the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. We can’t even begin to express how happy we were with our choice and what a wonderful weekend we had! This review will be a bit long but let us explain why…we had a wedding of 250 people, 70 of whom were traveling in from out of state or out of country….and planned the whole wedding from abroad so our “searching” for venues completely took place online. When we first came across Whitefish & Manhattan we were first impressed with all the reviews, awards, and the affordability. When we reached out, we were connected with Crystal Glaser who would become our main point of contact. Let us take a moment to share just how important Crystal was for us. She was unbelievably responsive, patient, flexible, accommodating, fun, and overall the best perk from the venue. Throughout the planning process, she walked us through all of the potential uses of the spaces, costs, and helped us map out our special weekend. Fast forward to the actual wedding and we could not have been happier. We used Manhattan Beach for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and cocktail reception while we used Whitefish for the dinner/dance and to house all 250 of our guests!!! The last thing we want to highlight is how the venue really goes above and beyond for guests. They prepared all types of little signs including welcome messages and event timings, they provided us with a conference room next to the reception hall to store decorations/create our floral arrangements, they offered us a free room on our first visit and for our 1st anniversary, they had free firewood for the pit in the back, their staff always had a smile on their face and offered a helping hand, and the guests loved the hot tub, pool, and teddy bear waffles at breakfast!!! We could continue to go on about how much we appreciated everything but we will stop here.
