Whitetail Lodge And Banquet Hall is a wedding and event venue in Springfield, OH. This family-owned property has over 150 years of history and features an old-world charm for couples to enjoy during their big day. You will have a variety of backdrops to choose from for your ceremony and reception, from the lush surrounding fields to the natural stone structure. First built in 1865, Whitetail Lodge And Banquet Hall has seen only three caretakers over the decades. By 2020, the current owners, Barry and Tammy, revived and transformed the 64-acre property into a romantic wedding venue. The rolling hills, trees, and open fields make for a picturesque setting for your outdoor ceremony. Up to 200 guests can be comfortably seated in front of your ceremony arch. Also available is a three-tier patio, surrounded by the property's original clay and brick. Comfortable furniture and two outdoor fireplaces are present for a relaxing experience for up to 64 guests. After your ceremony concludes, you and your loved ones can then make your way to the indoor banquet hall for your reception. Large windows and stone details surround the room, making for a rustic aesthetic for your celebration. Exposed wooden beams and vintage chandeliers decorate the vaulted ceiling, adding a warm, welcoming glow. In addition, the custom bar area, dressing rooms, and prep kitchen will ensure a full-service experience. You will have the entire venue to yourselves during your wedding weekend to ensure you get the most out of the grounds. Tables, chairs, and linens will be provided, which the team will set up into your preferred arrangements. You will be welcome to select any vendors you want, from your caterers to your floral designers, to bring your vision to life.

Oh my goodness!!! Everything about this venue was perfect including venue owners!! It was so nice to get the keys on Friday morning which gave us plenty of time to get the decorating done and had a wonderful rehearsal and rehearsal dinner Friday night!! The rooms for the guys and the girls to get ready are great!! Several different options for the location of the ceremony, The patio is beautiful for the cocktail hour with plenty of seating! We had a food truck for the meal on Saturday but there’s a huge kitchen that could accommodate your caterer! We highly recommend Whitetail Lodge for your big day!!

The view is so beautiful and there are so many options for your pictures to be taken at. Tammy is so easy to work with which makes the place even better! I’m so happy we had our wedding celebration here!

This venue is an absolute dream! The owners completely renovated the property and thought of every detail to make this a breathtaking wedding venue! From the dressing rooms to the customized bar to the sliding glass doors that open to the patio, our guests got to enjoy the beautiful summer weather while still enjoying music and dancing. The owners went above and beyond for us and our families, even offering to watch our dog the night of our wedding. They are such genuine people and I can’t thank them enough for all they did for us! Whitetail Lodge made our wedding dreams a reality and I would highly recommend this venue to everyone!

It is an understatement to say that our wedding went perfectly because we chose Whitetail Lodge for our venue. We had plenty of time for set up and tear down which caused everything to be done with ease. Barry and Tammy are the kindest people who were so easy to communicate with and were also so accommodating! I loved how the venue was able to have an outdoor wedding space as well as indoors in case of bad weather. Whitetail Lodge itself has so much character and detail with its original foundation with modern remodeling inside. I can't stress enough how amazing this place is! 10/10 would recommend!!

The venue is beautiful with a nice little drive off of the road. Sadly due to weather we were not able to use the patio but were able to easily move everything inside and accommodate all of our guests.

Meet the Whitetail Lodge And Banquet Hall Team
Barry and Tammy Laughlin, Robert and Tyler Laughlin and Taylor Sowards (Owner) We have been married since 1991. We bought the facility in January of 2019 and started working on it a week after Easter. I can't begin to count the hours that our family and friends have put into the lodge but we can say how proud we are to look back at the work. I retired from being a teacher for 33 years and enjoy the opportunity to see families smile. When I watch a couple smile while looking at the venue knowing that they will start their life there as Mr. and Mrs., it gives me chills.
