Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is a clubhouse wedding venue located in Yorkville, IL. Set on the rolling greens of an exclusive golf course, this scenic location is perfect for weddings of all sizes and styles. The expert staff strives to provide exceptional service to make your wedding day an unforgettable experience. Weddings of up to 350 guests can be accommodated at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. The grand ballroom is an ideal space for your wedding reception. The neutral interiors provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding decor, while the rich dark wood accents and ornate chandeliers add a luxurious touch. If you are having an outdoor celebration, the rustic patio area is suitable for socializing with loved ones. Overlooking the manicured grounds and surrounding forests, this setting creates a stunning background for your wedding photography. You and your guests can also pose for photos in front of the restored white barn and on the curved bridge. Whitetail Ridge Golf Club offers a selection of wedding packages. The expert staff will assist you with planning your special event. They can set up the event space prior to your celebration and clean up the area when the party is over. Tables and chairs are provided, along with lighting and sound equipment. Event rentals, table linens, flatware, china, and glassware are also available. Whitetail Ridge was amazing! Everything was perfect and the night was better than we could have imagined. Ashley was very professional, responsive, and helpful through the whole process. Abby was amazing to work with and helped set everything up and checked with us leading up to the night and throughout the whole wedding night. The food was perfect and the guests loved the food. We did the premium buffet package and everyone enjoyed being able to take the portion size they preferred. We definitely recommend the prime rib! The views were amazing and the ballroom was decorated beautifully. I highly recommend Whitetail Ridge to anyone who is planning their wedding!

I worked with both Ashley and Abby throughout wedding planning with Whitetail Ridge and both were a pleasure to work with! Abby was my day of coordinator and I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through the day without her.Whitetail was an absolutely beautiful venue for both our ceremony and reception. They did a wonderful job setting up the decorations I provided and the tables and some decor they had too. They have great packages and were extremely accommodating with the menu, as my husband and I wanted a fully vegan menu. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married and celebrate!

The reason I did not give five stars is because of their scheduling of events that day. My reception was scheduled to start at 4:00 and they had multiple events before mine that ended at 3:00- however, at 3:30 guests from those events were still hanging around/chatting. They barely had time to decorate for our cocktail hour. I felt uncomfortable and out of place on my big day. They should really allow more time between events to not have this happen again, no bride should have to deal with that stress/feeling like I did.Also, the wedding coordinator we worked with left at I believe 8:30 and the reception didn't end until 10:00- I feel like it was unprofessional to leave an event before it's finished in case anything came up.Other than that, the venue itself is beautiful and the prime rib was excellent. They do have multiple places for stunning photos, including good indoor options for if it rains like it did on my day!

I was supposed to get married here later this year however we had concerns considering the restrictions in place. However Ashley assures us they had “permission” from state and local officials to not have any restrictions on their events, therefore encouraging us to have a 100+ person wedding in the middle of a global pandemic OR pay more to reschedule our date. We reached out to these offices they were claiming gave them permission and they all told us they had given no such permission. When we mentioned this to Ashley her response was well they’re going to tell you something different than what they told us. Safe to say we cancelled and initially they refused to refund us any additional amount over the charges we owed for canceling so we went to the media and as coincidence would have it they agreed to give us a refund of the overage the day the reporter reached out. As one last inconvenience we were told on June 24th that our check would arrive in 2 weeks. We just received it today the 21st of July and it was sent to a different address than what was agreed upon. So think twice before you decide to get married here. They even have a story about it on CBS Chicago.

We had attended 2 weddings at Whitetail Ridge and loved each one, so we decided to look into them for our own wedding. They have several different wedding packages that include almost everything, allowing you to choose what fits right for you. We were able to go to the tasting with many other wedding couples (the food was wonderful!) and try the foods in a setting like our wedding day would be. Ashley was great to work with, answering our questions and working with us on everything. The space looked beautiful and all of the staff we saw that evening was very pleasant. They helped clean up and organize our decor at the end of the evening, and the venue would even let us pick up the decor the next day if we didn’t have space to take it home that night. We also took pictures on the grounds and were able to use golf carts to help get our photographers and videographers around. Thanks for helping make our day perfect!

I really loved this venue. They did a great job with being flexible and helping us on our wedding day. I would only change one thing and that would be how much they pressed us and our photographers for time. None the less, the food was amazing and everyone had a blast. I will be going back again sometime in the future!

Ashley & Amanda were such a pleasure to work with! The venue was absolutely perfect & Amanda took care of all the final details perfectly. The food was fantastic & the set-up was well laid out. I could not have asked for better customer service for my big day! My husband and I had our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge on August 5th and it was absolutely perfect! Not only is the venue and golf course gorgeous but the food is delicious as well. The price we paid for the amount of people we had (around 230 guests) was very affordable and lower than most large venues in the area. Megan and Ashley are so nice and amazing to work with. They made everything easy and stress free from the beginning. I highly recommend this venue!

I attended a wedding at WTR as a guest back in 2009, and it was just beautiful - so beautiful, in fact, that I crossed it off my list for possible future nuptials, as I assumed it would be too expensive. Sad face :(.Fast forward to December 2015 when we start our venue search, and I email Ashley on a whim, only to find out this gorgeous place really IS affordable (though, cost is relative for weddings). And, our date was open! We booked, and then proceeded to have the best experience working with Ashley and the staff. I love how they do their tastings - inviting all weddings for the year to a reception-like event, so you can see how they work and - most importantly - so you can see how it tastes made in large quantities. If you can't make the dates offered, they do still offer one-on-one tastings. Ashley was super responsive to my emails, changes I had, questions that came up. She happily opened the doors on multiple occasions so I could visit with my coordinator, bridesmaids, etc. Based on other events around your date, you're able to come in early AND leave decor for a day or two if you agree in advance. For our NYE wedding, that was needed! The food was good - everyone loved the Dijon Chicken! If you are looking for a warm & welcoming place to hold your wedding, somewhere run by and like a family, Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is your place. Go see Ashley Walker Johnson. We LOVED working with them - so helpful and flexible, and everyone, thought they see lots of weddings come through, treated us like ours was the biggest event of the year!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Whitetail Ridge in July. Our guest list was around 300 people so it was a challenge to find a place to fit us. After finding several options we chose Whitetail because they had the right balance of beauty and cost. They offered many options to help make it affordable as well. Ashley made the entire planning process seamless. She was always willing to answer questions, set up meetings, etc. We were able to drop off our decorations a few days early and she put up everything. We even stopped by there several times for their delicious Sunday brunch. I would recommend Whitetail to anyone!!

My wife and I had our wedding here and could not have been more pleased with how everything went. The facility is absolutely beautiful...the ceremony, the reception, and especially the pictures, were breathtaking. The food was fantastic. We've even eaten here other than our wedding and it was equally as delicious. Of course, what really made it unforgettable was the staff. Ashley and Amanda were absolutely amazing during the whole process. From the very first meeting/showing, communicating back and forth, the hundreds of questions we had for them, the flexibility and friendliness, it was all top notch. We (and our guests!) can't say enough about how pleased we were with everything. I would recommend Whitetail Ridge to anybody, whether it be a wedding, special event, or just stopping by for dinner our a round of golf!

Our wedding was 01.03.2015, and had our reception at Whitetail Ridge. We got a wonderful price (just $2000!) and their wedding coordinator Ashley Johnson was incredibly helpful (especially when I needed to email her with questions about EVERYTHING that came to mind!). With our contract came all dishes, silverware, tablecloths, napkins (in assorted colors), tables, chairs, and even some decorations that were left over from Christmas, which worked perfectly with the winter theme! We did not have them cater our event, but they allowed us to bring in our own caterer (Upper Crust Catering) and kept the food warm for us until our 2:00 reception. We did have a cash bar and paid for Whitetail Ridge to provide a champagne toast ($1/glass), and soda/coffee/tea ($5/person). \rThey also allowed us to bring in our own food, and the only stipulation was that everything had to be sealed. Since they allowed that we had a hot chocolate bar, a dessert bar, and brought in our own cupcakes and wedding cake. \rI would use Whitetail again!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and made sure our special day went off without a hitch! We couldn't decorate the day before because of an event at whitetail, however, they allowed us to drop our decorations off and did all the work for us and it was perfect. The food was delicious as well. I would highly recommend Whitetail Ridge for a reception venue.

We searched high and low for a good reception location (that didn't max out our entire budget!) and Whitetail Ridge was close to home at a reasonable price. Ashley and John are wonderful to work with and they took all of the stress out of the weeks before and that day. If I could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing!

I really did love everything about this place. The food is amazing. There were only a few things that bothered me. It was challenging at times to get a hold of the planner. If I had a question I would have to leave a message and sometimes it would be a few days till I heard back. Over all I LOVED my day they made it easier, for me and my family. My really only negative thing is, during dinner we where hit with the bill of extra people that came. I knew it was going to come but it really ruined it for my husband and me. We where so overwhelmed with having to pay it right then and there. We did not get to finish eating our dinner while it was warm. Also we did not get to really think about the amount of people they charged us for. When it was all done and over with, we realized that for the amount of people that we where charged for it could not have been right. In the end yes it is a negative and a pain to think that we had been over charged. However everyone had a great time and loved the food.

I really did love everything about this place. The food is amazing. There were only a few things that bothered me. It was challenging at times to get a hold of the planner. If I had a question I would have to leave a message and sometimes it would be a few days till I heard back. Over all I LOVED my day they made it easier, for me and my family. My really only negative thing is, during dinner we where hit with the bill of extra people that came. I knew it was going to come but it really ruined it for my husband and me. We where so overwhelmed with having to pay it right then and there. We did not get to finish eating our dinner while it was warm. Also we did not get to really think about the amount of people they charged us for. When it was all done and over with, we realized that for the amount of people that we where charged for it could not have been right. In the end yes it is a negative and a pain to think that we had been over charged. However everyone had a great time and loved the food.

I attended a wedding here two summers ago and knew since the first time i set foot in the place, I wanted to have my reception here! Ashley J is so oragnized, friendly, and professional. Unfortuneatley, we could not have the wedding on the original date we had planned (11-11-11 because of Vets Day) because none of the off-season discounts applied. We were happy with the date we chose in the end, and everything went smoothly. The staff at Whitetail is exceptional!

We had a fabulous experience with out wedding at Whitetail Ridge. From the very beginning, they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. The venue is gorgeous. Some things that I loved most about it was the view of the golf course, windows in the ballroom, fabulous food, spacious, and that we were the only people having a wedding here that night. Ashley and Jon were both awesome to work with. We loved having our wedding here!

We had a fabulous experience with out wedding at Whitetail Ridge. From the very beginning, they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. The venue is gorgeous. Some things that I loved most about it was the view of the golf course, windows in the ballroom, fabulous food, spacious, and that we were the only people having a wedding here that night. Whitetail Ridge was the perfect place for us to have our 6/5/11 wedding! The golf course and surrounding open country was as beautiful as I'd imagined it could be. John, Ashley and Amanda made our reception run without a glitch. Ashley was there every step of the way to help with the planning process and was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend whitetail for anyone looking for a venue that gives you the best of an indoor reception but the beauty of the outdoors!

Whitetail Ridge was the perfect place for us to have our 6/5/11 wedding! The golf course and surrounding open country was as beautiful as I'd imagined it could be. We wanted a location in the western suburbs to host a ceremony and reception for a March wedding. Whitetail Ridge offered what we were looking for (clean and simple construction, good value for the meal/person and indoor room for the ceremony).\rThe staff was always helpful in making sure we were satisfied. They were very organized with the setup for the reception room and met all our special requests. Looking back everything went very smoothly and we would recommend the location for a wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding at Whitetail Ridge on 2-20-11. Everything was perfect. Meet the Whitetail Ridge Golf Club Team
Ashley Johnson (Director of Sales) I have been in the wedding industry since 2007 and absolutely love helping couples bring their wedding dreams to reality. I got married in 2010 and we chose to have our reception at Whitetail Ridge. It was everything I had ever imagined and more. The food was delicious, the room was gorgeous, the dance floor was full and the the pictures captured it all. My goal is to provide couples with a beautiful venue, stress-free planning and a party that everyone will enjoy.
