Where do I start??? I had been here many years ago as some friends were members and always liked the venue, but was incredibly impressed when I went back and they had renovated and remodeled - including adding a bridal suite upstairs and a man cave with a golf stimulator and full-service bar (you have to request this in advance). We were working with Ryan (golf manager) - who allowed 12 guys including my husband to golf rehearsal day (they said it was stunning) and they golfed better than they ever have, and Diana (whitmoor wedding/event coordinator). We have repeatedly heard from guests (it was last weekend) that it was the best wedding they have ever been to - the food was incredible - we had chicken tuscany, au gratin potatoes, green beans, 2 salads, t ravs, fruit, and AMAZING prime rib, the service was fast and timely - no leftover drinks/bottles left on tables, the acoustics were perfect (had a new orleans style brass band play + motown/soul band), and the venue itself is just stunning - overlooking the golf course, we got married outside on the veranda and I even got a change to play on the piano. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about it. In fact, many of our groomsen have already asked if we can get married every month there haha! LOVED IT and will NEVER forget what an incredible weekend we had!!!!! Thank you Ryan, Diana, and our wedding planner Renee (weddings by renee - only way to be low stress for your important day)!

Where do I start??? The service provided did not match the amount of money we paid. The event coordinator appeared to be distracted in the weeks leading up to our day and the day of. Mistakes were made and I had to repeat alot of the details that we requested. The grounds are beautiful and made for great pictures. I received good feedback regarding the food. I was not overly impressed with what we chose. We were supposed to have received a food tasting before hand but that was not followed through on by the event coordinator. The food we chose for our rehearsel dinner was outstanding.

The Whitmoor Country Club made having a wedding SO easy. Diana is on top of it and ensure your wedding day and all the time leading up to it is organized and goes smoothly. Our wedding day was amazing. We loved both get ready rooms at Whitmoor and it was a great place for photos. We had our ceremony on the veranda and it was intimate. I cannot recommend looking into Whitmoor for your next event or wedding enough!

We had our wedding reception at Whitmoor and it was 10/10 perfect! Sue was so incredibly nice, flexible, and easy to work with. They were so accommodating to our requests and didn't charge us extra for using an extra room, getting a second bar, etc. The night of our wedding she unfortunately couldn't make it due to an emergency, but the staff at Whitmoor didn't miss a beat. The food was incredible and they definitely didn't stiff us on the drinks. Everyone had an amazing time!!!

Absolutely beautiful venue with very reasonable package deals that include catering, bar, and many other odds and ends that will save you a lot of stress during wedding planning. Staff was very friendly and professional, always able to answer any question and help through much of the planning process. Sue did an amazing job making sure our big day went splendidly. The food was also delicious! I would very highly recommend this place to anyone! You will absolutely love it!

I have to say I 100% recommend this location for your wedding! I won't lie, it was a little pricey for what we were looking for but I promise that I got my monies worth. I can say that Sue was great to work with and was very quick with emails and answered all of my crazy questions. We were able to do a food tasting which amazed us and the food was FANTASTIC. My guests raved about the food and the drinks were poured very fairly. The reception itself was big and beautiful as well. PLENTY of parking for many guests. I can say I am absolutely happy with our pick for our wedding reception and would hope anyone else picks this as well!

I am so thankful we chose Whitmoor as our venue for the ceremony and reception. Sue was so very helpful and patient answering all of our questions in a timely manner. She helped our big day go by without a hitch and the food was great! Also, it was not as costly as some of the other vendors we were looking into. I highly recommend Whitmoor for any other couples wanting to get married with as little stress as possible.

To say Sue and her team are phenomenal would be a huge understatement. There is not a single negative thing I could say about our experience at Whitmoor! Sue was so accessible and easy to work with through the entire process and our day was PERFECT - better than I imagined. Her team - specifically Brandon (sorry if I butchered that) was so wonderful later in the night too. They took care of everything for me. I will recommend this venue to ANYONE getting married - or hosting a shower, or a reunion, or really, anything. This place is the best. Hands down.

We cannot say enough great things about our venue! That were simply amazing! So easy to work with. Sue worked with us every step of the way. They allowed us to bring up our decorations for the wedding on Tuesday for our Saturday wedding. The staff was so accommodating and wanted out night to be amazing. They take the worry out off the bride and groom and hand everything for you. We had the place all to ourselves the entire day. We were able to get ready in the girls and guys locker rooms. The whole place was full of awesome accommodations. We had our ceremony on the pergola that overlooked the gold course. Then we were able to go around the golf course for picture. I guarantee the picture will be breath taking. I could redo my wedding, I would always have it at Whitmoor Club! Hand down the most perfect day of my life.

I wish that I could give Sue and her team more stars... they were EXCEPTIONAL! My husband and I are so happy with how everything turned out. We had our wedding reception here and this location was everything that we wanted and more. The entire building is so classic and beautiful, the caterers here were so great and the meals provided to our guests were delicious - we are still hearing how much people loved their dinner! Our guests had so much room to move around and dance. Sue's hospitality was so appreciated from our entire family. She worked with us planning through our entire engagement and even helped me bustle my wedding dress before our reception started! If you are wanting a location for your timeless wedding reception with a team who strives to literally make your day perfect, do NOT hesitate to go visit this country club. You will not regret it! We cannot thank them enough for making our special day complete.

Highly suggest the chicken modega and the prime rib. Our cocktail hour had a bacon wrapped tenderloin. They even made a separate plate for my husband since he didn't like mushrooms in the chicken modega. We even asked about late night cheeseburgers.

Service was astounding: omnipresent, affable, well-organized. Our bartenders were upbeat and speedy. Brandon and Danielle (sorry for any spelling errors) were outstandingly attentive and on-point the entire night, and it was like having a pair of ninjas at our beck and call.The food was scrumptious, too, with special shout-outs to 1) the pre-meal sticky buns (the awesome cinnamon aroma of which wafted out to where we were taking photos before the wedding (which, btw, if that was deliberate, then kudos for the execution)) and 2) the spinach salad, whose crispity candied walnuts and indescribably good dressing practically upstaged the mouth-watering main course that followed it, which brings me to 3) the alfredo, which humble side didn't get nearly the props it deserved for its perfectly balanced savoriness, lightness, and cheesiness.And the highest of the praise for last. Sue Putnam, everyone. Sue is a warm-hearted joy to work with, a master-level coordinator, and Whitmoor's resident ghost in the machine, whose brilliance and efficiency kept the groom and I calm and organized throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and then outright *dazzled* us on the day itself. We remain not just grateful but awestruck. Bless you, Sue! May Whitmoor treat you even half as well as you deserve.5/5 stars. Not a single thing went wrong, and much of what went right *also* went above and beyond. A Whitmoor wedding, under Sue's watchful gaze, is a miracle to behold. Loved the Whitmoor! I used it for my ceremony and reception. I looked at 3 other comparable sites in the area but Sue was the ONLY person who was actually waiting for me/on time for my appointment. I took that as a good sign and I was right. Sue is very responsive, experienced (so she can be relaxed but prepared) and enthusiastic. I especially appreciated how her enthusiasm was genuine and not forced. She will guide you when you need help but will also step back and let you run the show when you know what you want. She has a list of vendors that I used and they were great choices- she keeps up with her vendor list and will only recommend high quality people.The food was great, the staff made sure I got to eat at my own wedding (which isn't a given from what I've read), the food was good and my guests agree.The Whitmoor has so many fantastic aspects to it: you can do a wedding on the porch so you're outside but covered, you can rent out almost the entire building for a good price, they will do a ton of the set up/tear down (they even wrapped my cake topper!), there is plenty of parking, everyone is kind, food is good, and they are reliable.Do yourself a favor- get married at the Whitmoor.

My husband and I had our reception at Whitmoor on 11/05/16. Sue was fantastic to work with and easy to communicate with. We were able to customize our menu and it was delicious. We used Laulie's bakery for our cake, which was included in Whitmoor's price, and we couldn't have been happier with the design and taste. The room looked gorgeous when we arrived and the entire evening was flawless. We would highly recommend Whitmoor Country Club. Great value and love how much was included in the price.

We used Laulie's bakery for our cake, which was included in Whitmoor's price, and we couldn't have been happier with the design and taste. The room looked gorgeous when we arrived and the entire evening was flawless. We would highly recommend Whitmoor Country Club. Great value and love how much was included in the price.

Whitmoor was fantastic! It is beautiful and private, as you get the entire building for your reception. Sue was great to work with, and they are very flexible with making everything perfect. The food was amazing! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had. We were able to request basically anything for the buffet, even if it's not on the menu. The prime rib and marinated grilled vegetables were excellent! We had our ceremony on the outdoor veranda, and it was beautiful as it looks over the golf course. It rained on our wedding day, but the veranda is covered so it worked out perfectly (and there was no one golfing!). The staff during the reception was great and attentive. They went through the buffet with me and got my food so I wouldn't spill anything on my dress, and frequently checked to see if we needed anything. Everything was very organized, and there is a separate area for the cocktail hour that looks like a very old-school cigar lounge. There are also nice \"locker rooms\" for getting ready...the men's has a pool table! (They are much nicer than an actual locker room, haha). The main ballroom for the reception is large with a big dance floor, and a real bar which I liked. They also used nice glasses for all the drinks rather than the cheap plastic ware, which is a plus. The wedding packages include a cake if you go to a specific bakery, which is pretty rare. The bakery is in Troy, and I was a little worried at first because the place kind of looks like a hole in the wall, but our cake was really delicious and beautiful. Overall, everything was really great! I feel like Whitmoor is kind of a hidden gem...I looked at a lot of venues and this one was the best for the money. Considering what you get, the price is very reasonable compared to other venues I had looked at. Our wedding was a blast, and I would definitely recommend taking a tour of Whitmoor!One disclosure...they don't allow you to take pictures on the actual golf course. There are a couple pretty photo spots where you can take pictures on site, but we went to the nearby Busch Conservation area to do our first look and got some really beautiful photos there before the ceremony. Just a suggestion!

I had my wedding reception here and loved it! The main room was beautiful and our rental included the whole floor so we were able to put the buffet tables and other vendors in side rooms. The food was fantastic and our price included food, full bar, cake, appetizers and a champagne toast for a five hour reception. It was a great deal and everything turned out great. Sue is the wedding coordinator and she is really nice and was very flexible with our requests. I would definitely recommend Whitmoor for your wedding reception!

Not to mention it was a great value for our money. Sue was so attentive and helpful; she answered every email and was so flexible. She made the process of planning a wedding painless and stress free! It is an absolutely beautiful venue, making our wedding pictures turn out gorgeous. Our guests said it was hands down the best wedding they have ever been to - one uncle has not stopped talking about how his daughter's wedding will be there next! I had my wedding ceremony outside under their pavilion, and it was beautiful. The only thing is that they promised there would be no golf carts driving around during the ceremony, but there were still a few. Overall, it was very easy to plan my ceremony and reception here. The wedding coordinator was very helpful and accommodating. The reception went smoothly, all the waiters were very attentive. I could not have asked for a better team to make sure everything went according to plan! The wedding coordinator made sure I was able to put all my ideas into action so that I could have the wedding I've dreamed of.

We were extremely happy with the Whitmoor. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we got lots of great pictures there. The food was amazing and the coordinator was very organized and great to work with. We especially loved the outdoor space and the windows inside. It fit out wedding size of about 200 people perfectly with a little extra room. We would definitely recommend them for other people's weddings!

The folks here were extremely accomodating to our every wish and the chef prepared mouth-watering appetizers and the most delicious entrees. Everything went smoothly and as planned. Our wedding guests were very impressed. Kudos to Sue Putnam-banquet coordinator.

Diana Feldmann (Events Director) CONGRATULATIONS! on your engagement.I grew up at Whitmoor from the age of 5, was a Lifeguard at age 15, I had my wedding here and recently rejoined the team! I officially started in May of 2023 as the Catering Sales Coordinator specializing in weddings and social events.
