Ok, so I may be a tiny bit biased because it was my wedding, but it was THE BEST WEDDING EVER. All of our guests say the same thing! From working with Meesha who is phenomenal, experienced, warm and friendly, to the food and accommodations, we would not have changed a single thing. Every member of the team was so accommodating (for example, one of our signature drinks was coquito, the bar made it specifically for us using the recipe we sent, and it was delicious!). This season was very rainy, and while it would have been amazing to have the ceremony outside, Meesha’s team executed plan B without a hitch, and still just as beautiful. Everyone was so kind and friendly, they went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Many thanks to: Dexter for lighting the bonfire on a rainy night, hanging our piñata, and all the other things he did behind the scenes! Meesha for her hospitality, guidance, support and wisdom during an event that is most likely a first for many of us! To Meesha’s team for all the hard work they did making the tent look GORGEOUS and keeping all of our guests happy! To the bar for making the most delicious specialty cocktail and keeping up with our guests. To chef Gary for his DELICIOUS food. Valerie, the captain, who helped everything go off without a hitch, the glue that held everything together. Her warmth, knowledge, and communication with us and Meesha was remarkable. I’m sure there are sooo many other people to thank and shout out, but this wedding was worth every penny because of this amazing team and amazing venue. The people especially made our wedding the best wedding ever. Reviewed on 13-11-2023

I feel beyond lucky for finding The Wilburton for our wedding earlier this month. First and foremost, the entire weekend wedding experience is so unique and special. It was wonderful being able to fit all of our friends and family on-site for the weekend making it a fun weekend getaway for our guests. All of the on-site accommodations are close together and made it easy for guests to walk to our Welcome Bonfire Friday night and then all the wedding festivities Saturday. The grounds are very well maintained, and views of the mountains are spectacular, making our wedding photos beyond beautiful. The tent on-site for the reception is gorgeous and you don't need to do a thing to it! The coordinator, Meesha, was a dream to work with. She was so kind, provided recommendations along the way and made the entire process so smooth and stress free!! The wedding weekend itself was perfectly executed. The food was delicious, and they accommodated our vision for some off menu items seamlessly. Everyone at the Wilburton was so sweet and easy to work with. We are so grateful we found the Wilburton. We had the most amazing wedding at the Wilburton in June 2023. We could not have been happier with the day and our decision to choose Wilburton. The views and scenery of the mountains/grounds/mansion are spectacular and the tent with its marble floors and lighting when it gets dark is really beautiful - the pictures online do not do the site justice and our pictures are stunning. Meesha and her team do an amazing job leading up to the event and the day of - they are truly experts who want to make your day as perfect as it can be. We were especially grateful with the team's ability to make a rain decision literally last minute. We tend to not have the highest expectations when it comes to wedding food but we were honestly very impressed! Chef Garry was nice enough to make us some custom culutral apps we requested that came out great and our guests raved about their meals at dinner. We also enjoyed having many of our guests on the grounds with us. For those unfamailiar with Manchester, it's a stunning place to get married with many activities, hotels, and restaurants in town as well. Thank you Wilburton Inn!! Reviewed on 10-07-2023

My husband and I just arrived home from our wedding at the Wilburton Inn. From start to finish, the Wilburton was the most wonderful place to plan for and have our wedding. Meesha and her team are warm, kind, approachable and experts at what they do. It could not have been less stressful to plan a wedding there. Catering, rentals, a gorgeous tent, and a number of excellent suggestions for vendors make planning so straight forward. We loved having most of our guests stay on the property. The Wilburton ceremony space has the most incredible view. Our pictures are going to be stunning! It ended up raining during our ceremony time and we seamlessly switched to the rain plan- the patio under the awning which was the most cozy, intimate space that still offered the views of an outdoor space. One last thing- several of our guests said it was the most delicious wedding food they've ever had. We agree! We will always be grateful for the most beautiful, memorable, fun filled weekend! The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities were everything! Every room is cared for. Meesha treated myself and each and every one of my guests like family. If you are planning on having a wedding here – don’t miss out on the rehearsal dinner and the bonfire. These two events were so special and my guests were raving about them. It is a good opportunity to welcome everyone, and they do a great job coordinating the events. The venue itself is spectacular. Having all of the guests stay on the premises was KEY, you forget something in your room – no biggie just a few steps away. It was like a big campfire sleepover with all of my favorite people. The marble steps and pavilion tent are to die for. Not to mention – BEST MOUNTAIN VIEWS IN MANCHESTER!! The food is all farm to table and is incredible. With every outlandish request we threw at them, they came back with solutions and ideas for how to make it a reality. Meesha was so patient and such a helpful guide in the planning process. She was amazing at bringing together all the moving pieces and especially in 2022 that is a major feat! With each hiccup like rental companies not having any stock, or me ordering the wrong escort cards, etc. Meesha would brush it off, tell me it was no big deal and find a solution. I could not have done any of this without her. The entire weekend (and even the planning leading up to it) was absolutely perfect and made so special by not only the beautiful landscape, but by the efforts, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and absolute care by all at The Wilburton. Our coordinator Meesha was attentive throughout all the planning and an absolute professional throughout our celebration. She was truly dedicated to ensuring we had our dream wedding. Our guest's lodging took the greater part of 4 of the houses on the property and each guest stated they had a great experience. We hosted a welcome party the first night and the charcuterie display was amazing, the second day started with a great breakfast for all and leisure pre-planned leisure activities. We ended the day with a bonfire complete with apple cider donuts and a bar. Chris Chobanian(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-09-2019 We looked everywhere in Vermont and the northeast for a wedding experience that would feel special and Vermont-like but also act as a suitable destination wedding location that would justify the four-hour drive (from NYC) for our friends and family. We were about to commit to Hildene when, by chance, it occurred to us to consider the Wilburton. We are so glad we did. We visited in the late summer and were dumbstruck by the lush green mountain views. And unlike Hildene, the Wilburton allowed us to stay on site and really soak in the surrounding mountains. The setting was breathtaking but one feature the Wilburton offered was key to making our wedding such a beautiful experience: the Wilburton’s wedding coordinator, Michele Kropp. She was smart, experienced, and always knew exactly what to do. Her services added significant value to the venue’s offerings. Her patience knew no bounds, and we asked a lot. We feel we really gained a friend in the process. She went out of her way to guide us through our wedding experience --- and we needed a lot of guidance. She worked with our budget and gave us ideas to scale the wedding perfectly for our needs. If it wasn’t for her, I don’t know how we could have pulled it off.Overall, the bonfire was a blast, the wedding ceremony was beautiful (people are still talking about the breathtaking views), the food was incredible (can’t thank Paul Kropp enough for a perfect menu design and execution), and the party was killer. The new tent is a crowning jewel on an already gorgeous property and experience. Can’t thank the Levis family (+Jackson), Michele, Paul, housekeeping enough. Alexandra Kontsevaia(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2014 We had our wedding at the Wilburton in early September of this year. Our families are from Boston, Chicago, and other cities all over so it was a destination wedding for about 100 people. We were there for three nights, some guest as little as one night.\r\rWe developed a relationship with the Levis family over the course of a year planning our wedding. It's tough to summarize our experience very clearly so let me break it down into each of its parts...\r\rRooms: We rented the guest houses as well as had people in the mansion and villa rooms. The quality depends on the price. None of the rooms have anything negative about them but clearly the different prices reflect the view/quality of each room. You will find lots of \"weird\" art and sometimes a quirky style but if you don't like that then just stay at a Holiday Inn and don't bother going to a family owned estate in rural Vermont.\r\rBreakfast: The pancakes are fantastic. The breakfast cook Lisa could talk all day about the flour mixture and how they integrate produce/bread from the family farm. They also offer all the other staples you would expect and it's all good and satisfying.\r\rDinner: We had an informal family BBQ the night before the wedding and were pleased with the spread. Having the food grilled outside on the terrace made it fun for our guest. Lots of opportunity to roam around and mingle. They prepared an ice cream bar from a local creamery - super tasty.\r\rOn the night of the wedding we had a buffet of pork and cod. Both were cooked expertly and all the appetizers and sides seemed to go well. We served pies from Grandma Miller's for dessert but the Wilburton put on a chocolate fountain which people seemed to like. Unfortunately the fountain broke down before I got to it, but one of our hard partying guest is responsible for that - not the staff! People were having fun!\r\rWe ended the night with a bonfire, s'mores, and we kicked what was left of the keg. It was the best way for people to party on a bit while also allowing the night to wind down naturally. Having everyone stay onsite made it easy and worry free - no one had to drive after all the partying.\r\rStaff: When we selected to have our wedding at the Wilburton it was run by the late Georgette Levis. When she passed of cancer her family stepped in and took over the Inn and made it clear to us that they were going to do whatever they needed to see that we got the wedding experience we were promised by their late mother. They clearly worked hard to do so. But they also maintained a fun approach to the whole experience and we felt as thought we were being hosted by some longtime family friends. They are not uniformed. They don't wear name badges. And they don't have clear titles and organizational structure. Instead they treat their guest and themselves like regular people who simply want you to have a good time. Half of our guest thought the father of the Innkeeper family was some Uncle of mine helping out by the way he treated guest, sat down with them, had conversation, and made sure everyone enjoyed their stay.\r\rThey also have an Inn puppy named Jetson who was a charming and friendly greeter to all the guest. \r\rIn the end we are happy with our choice to get married at the Wilburton Inn and glad we got to meet the Levis Family and their staff along the way. We had asked for a predominantly vegetarian menu and they did a great job- it was a vegetarian bbq/grill buffet that was delicious- there were a lot of compliments on the food.
