- Wild Carrot wedding or reception is one that is unique, inspiring and purposeful. We have been leading the industry since we opened 5 years ago and have been in a constant state of perfecting ever since. Our decor is inspiring and purposeful our planning process is hands on and flexible and our staff is a tight knit crew that understands the importance of being service forward. A consistent piece of feedback we get from previous couples is that they felt like we treated them like they were our only couple. Wild Carrot can physically be found in the historic Shaw neighborhood a few blocks away from the Missouri Botanical Garden. We have an additional getting ready suite as well as an urban garden directly behind the venue great for ceremonies and cocktail hour. Could not recommend Wild Carrot enough. Every employee is there to help and make the planning process and day as enjoyable as possible. Any question we had was responded to within a few hours and the walkthroughs in the months leading up to the wedding were all on schedule, answered all of our questions, and allowed us to talk through any detail we wanted no matter how small. We knew Wild Carrot had a good bar, but we didn't realize how great it was. One of the main compliments we received from our wedding was how high quality the bar was and how friendly, approachable, and fun the bartenders were. The venue it's is gorgeous, no need for extra decorations. Everything was safe, clean, beautiful, could not say enough good things about Wild Carrot!

We can’t say enough good things about the Wild Carrot. We are SO happy that we decided to get married here. The entire team at the Wild Carrot knows what they are doing. Everyone is extremely detail oriented & wonderful to work with. Not to mention that the space is absolutely beautiful. The furniture & decor makes it so special & unique.We had our hearts set on having an outdoor ceremony but it ended up pouring down rain as our guests started to arrive. The Wild Carrot team was so flexible & moved everything inside at the last minute. Several of our guests also raved to us about the bartenders who were whipping up bespoke cocktails for them.

We can’t say enough good things about the Wild Carrot. We are SO happy that we decided to get married here. The entire team at the Wild Carrot knows what they are doing. We held our wedding at WC for a few reasons:- Unmatched bar quality in STL. We are in our mid 30s, we did not want mixed drinks, we wanted cocktails and WC delivered this.- Beautiful space. Weddings are expensive AF and one cost we wanted to cut was on decorations and flowers. WC is beautiful as-is, so we did not use any outside vendors for decor. We used candles on tables which lit up the space beautifully. WC has done a great job acquiring beautiful vintage and MCM pieces, all included in the price. - Location. Our out of town guests loved Shaw and were surprised how beautiful that neighborhood is, and the stark contrast of Shaw vs what they see in the news about STL. We definitely changed the stereotype of STL for many of our guests thanks to our venue's location.Moreover, the bridal party chose to get ready in WC's 3905 room. This was a great choice as both our ceremony and reception were at WC. My one critique is I thought this room was quite expensive at $500. Though you do get access to it from 7am - 4pm, that price tag seems a lot considering all WC needs to do is clean it. I feel like half that at $250 would have been more fair. Perhaps the higher price tag is due to them worrying about us breaking something, but this could be changed to a 1) flat fee for cleaning, 2) a refundable deposit.

We just got married at the Wild Carrot and there are no words to describe how amazing it was. The venue itself is so beautiful, there’s barely a need to get additional decor because of the sheer beauty of the building. The owners have impeccable design taste and every corner is so stylish. The outdoor space is just as beautiful. My bridal party used the upper apartment to get ready and it’s also stunning, super modern with amazing natural light, a full kitchen, and easy access to the venue. We were able to have access up until the ceremony, which gave us a space to hang out with the whole party as well as just us two before the ceremony. The staff is so kind and helpful - we worked with Marie and she was the sweetest ray of sunshine, helping us every step of the way and communicating at every turn. The bar had so many amazing reviews from our guests - the bartenders were awesome, super nice, quick and talented. We had multiple guests tell us this was the best bar they’ve tried at a wedding. All in all, we would 10000% recommend the Wild Carrot to any newly engaged couples. It’s seriously gorgeous and the day was perfect.

I truly cannot say enough great things about Wild Carrot! It was the perfect choice for our wedding day, and I can't even count the number of comments we've received from friends and family about how cool the venue was and how awesome the drinks were. So let me break down exactly what we loved:The space! The space itself is magical with all the brick walls, murals, eclectic furniture, cozy lighting, and lounge space. Every detail is immaculate. It gave the vibe of a cool, elevated night out rather than your typical wedding space (in the best way). We also rented the 3905 upstairs space for getting ready, and it was perfect! Tons of room for hair and makeup, full kitchen (we made breakfast casseroles), and great for initial photos. Also, having a small wedding party suite in the main space was so helpful for storing our stuff.The bar! I can't imagine a better wedding bar package than this (especially at such a reasonable price). The quality and versatility of the bar is a big reason we picked WC, so we had high expectations here, and they blew our expectations out of the water. This is probably the #1 compliment we keep getting from guests! Being able to go up to the bar at a wedding, tell the bartender what you generally like, and get a totally unique cocktail (or mocktail) tailored for you is such a memorable experience.The people! All of the Wild Carrot staff who were involved in our day, from booking to planning to executing, were great to work with -- encouraging, supportive, detail-oriented, kind, and totally on top of things. It was a relief to know that I could fully trust WC staff to make everything from the little details to the big vision come together. They totally delivered, and then some.I really believe that picking Wild Carrot for our venue is the best decision we made!!

Wild Carrot is the most beautiful venue with an exceptional staff. We had not heard of Wild Carrot prior to touring it, but immediately fell in love with the venue’s uniqueness and beauty. Casey took us on the tour and he was down-to-earth and answered all of our questions. We also worked heavily with Marie and Grace - both who were always SO kind and made us feel like the most important people in their inbox. At first, we were a little intimidated of Wild Carrot’s high-end bar (like can I get a Captain and coke?), but our whole perception changed after working with Luc. He listened to what we liked, and made the BEST signature cocktail that was a representation of both of us. He taught us how to expand our palette and truly made us appreciate the quality of Wild Carrot’s bar. Our guests could not get enough of the elevated bar experience. We also had the power go out during cocktail hour for a short period of time (we didn’t even know), and they allowed us to extend our bar time. Wild Carrot is beyond amazing, and we hope to go back and visit a place that means so much to us soon.

We had such an amazing experience with Wild Carrot. From the time we toured it, we knew we loved the architecture and design of the space and knew we wanted to host our wedding here. It is such a unique venue and we received sooo many compliments about the space. At the three month mark, we worked closely with Marie and described our vision and she patiently answered any and all of our million questions and helped accommodate several requests that made our reception so special. The cocktails were outstanding, the bartenders put special care into each drink, while still serving short wait times which is so unique for a wedding venue! My girls and I also got ready in the upstairs space which is available for rent on your wedding day which was was spacious and had beautiful lighting for photos.

The history of this building and the way it has been converted into an event space, the amazing owners and all that worked so professionally to made the night happen, and the beautiful city backyard where the ceremony took place was what we had hoped for and more. They guided us through the whole process from beginning to end . Comments we heard praised the spaces, the bartenders, valets for parking, even a ceremony outside in a beautiful garden facing the highway made it feel like this special event was happening in the the urban city of St. Louis where we live. If you can have your event here you will be so glad you did.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here in March 2023. Our experience with the Wild Carrot staff, event space and bar service was all around incredible. The venue was a perfect fit for our industrial style tastes with so many unique details. They have it figured out here. Prior to the wedding their team (shoutout Marie, Grace and Laura!) were incredible to communicate with and made sure we were prepared for a seamless day. We were able to pull off an outdoor ceremony after rain the previous day thanks to their staff's excellent communication and planning with us and our coordinator. The wedding party got ready in the loft space which was so gorgeous- the natural light was unmatched. Guests loved the atmosphere and quality cocktails were a hit. Thanks to Wild Carrot we had the wedding of our dreams!

The venue and the bar service were AMAZING! It’s not the typical all white venue, which we loved. We were more modern industrial with our design and it went well. The team who helps you set everything up was so knowledgeable and helpful with the planning and vendor recommendations!

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. Laura, Grace, and the rest team were amazing to work with from the beginning. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Our guests RAVED about the bar (all of the bartenders are mixologists!!!) and loved the venue itself. I cannot recommend this venue enough, words just don't do it justice. Book this venue, you will not regret it!!!!

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. Laura, Grace, and the rest team were amazing to work with from the beginning. They were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. Our guests RAVED about the bar (all of the bartenders are mixologists!!!) and loved the venue itself. I cannot recommend this venue enough, words just don't do it justice. Book this venue, you will not regret it!!!!

This venue is stunning, the full cocktail bar means delicious drinks all night long, AND the staff was an absolute joy to work with. We had so many of our guests tell us how much they loved the venue and the staff after our wedding, and we couldn't agree more.Wild Carrot's space feels modern, classic, and eclectic all at the same time. The space is very flexible, and we had almost free-rein in terms of arranging tables, seating areas, and the dance floor. There were also two separate getting-ready rooms, each of which were easy to access and made for nice lounges before our ceremony. We did a lot of our portraits inside the venue earlier in the day, and there are so many lovely details and backdrops that were great for photos.We had our ceremony in the backyard outdoor space, which was beautiful. We had a champagne welcome at the start, and Wild Carrot set up a lovely display for it. Working with Wild Carrot was pleasant and simple. We did a walk-through to before booking about 18 months before our wedding. After booking, we had meetings with them three and one months out. They also arranged a ceremony rehearsal for us. Everyone on their team is friendly, professional, patient, and really dedicated to making our wedding vision a reality in their space. Their bartenders are also top-notch--they made the evening so fun for us and our guests, and prepared fabulous drinks all night. Everything was absolutely perfect!

We LOVED having our wedding reception at Wild Carrot. We lived in Shaw for the past few years and walked past Wild Carrot plenty of times, but we never imagined how special our reception would be inside until it actually happened. Laura, Casey, and the whole team were lovely to work with and made the planning process so easy. We loved working with Luc on a signature cocktail and having Marie as our event director. The space speaks for itself and didn't require extra decor to make it beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted and guests loved it too!!

Wild Carrot was absolutely the perfect ceremony and reception venue for us. We feel so lucky to have been married there and gotten to celebrate in their unique beautiful space. Laura and her entire team were a joy to work with. Covid had us postpone by over a year and she was so incredible to work with on rescheduling and keeping a calm demeanor during such a stressful time. Communication and quick response time was KEY and she was amazing. Her and her team have done an incredible job transforming the space into a chic venue with unique charm that was so important to us while choosing a venue. We continue to get compliments that our wedding was the best our guests have been to. The fact that they have the bar as a focal point both architecturally and as part of the experience really proved itself on the night. Everyone was enamored by the quality of the drinks and ingredient selections. Big wow. I can't say enough good things about Wild Carrot.

We had our wedding at the Wild Carrot a little over a week ago and not only is it an amazing and unique space, but the people were also amazing to work with. Grace, Luke and Laura went above and beyond to make our night spectacular. Everything ran so smoothly and the cocktails were beyond delicious (and way above your standard wedding drinks). I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for something a little different but absolutely beautiful.

Wild Carrot was the first vendor we booked and we are so, so glad we did. As soon as we found Wild Carrot, we knew we had to book the space. From the aesthetic to the location to the ease of communication to the bar – it was the best decision. Laura and Grace were incredibly responsive, joyful, and all around wonderful to work with. Luke was an absolute joy at our rehearsal and at the wedding as well! The entire crew at our wedding were just perfect. Apart from the amazing and beautiful work that they do, they are all simply amazing humans as well. We had so many guests come up throughout the night telling us how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the bar was. Our wedding day was a literal dream and Wild Carrot was an integral part of the magic of our wedding.

My husband and I walked into Wild Carrot in January 2019 to meet with Laura and Casey and instantly knew this would be our reception venue. We were originally supposed to have our reception in August 2020, but because of the pandemic, shifted that part of the celebration to August 2021. I fell in love with this venue 2 years ago and was able to have my dream ceremony & reception there a few weeks ago. They make the planning process simple and were able to help us seamlessly transition from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony when it decided to be 102° outside! The staff is caring and attentive and the venue itself is stunning. I could not recommend Wild Carrot enough to anyone looking to host an event or wedding!

If you're looking for a stunning, artistic, eclectic, and romantic venue run by the most genuine people; look no further. We booked Wild Carrot for our 2020 wedding and I couldn't recommend it enough. We worked with Laura and Grace who guided us through the uncertainty of 2020 with ease and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Whether is was back and forth emails/phone calls/ photos to make sure every detail was right. They made us feel like we were their only clients, which isn't easy given the craziness of this year! On top of that, the space and feel that had been curated at this venue is unmatched, we looked at countless venues and when we walked into WC, we knew. There is an authenticity there that you just can't buy. When we got engaged my top three priorities were: a great venue, amazing photographer, and an awesome open bar. Wild Carrot delivered on both the venue and the bar. I was so grateful that their bar selections were purposefully selected and unique; for example my husband and I were able to order our favorite cocktails (gin gimlet and mint julep) with high quality ingredients and consistent pours. Lastly, I just want to say thank you to Laura and Grace for their night-before/day-of work. They are confident,seasoned, professional, and all the while warm and fun. Of all the uncertainty this year brought, thank you for being a vendor that we could not only count on, but that far exceeded our expectations!

Laura and her team are amazing to work with, their COVID guidelines made all of our guests feel safe and comfortable, and the vibes are just on point. We had our wedding at the Wild Carrot in August, and it was one of the BEST decisions we made!! Even in this review there aren't words to truly describe how much we appreciated working with them. From the start, my husband & I wanted a venue that was beautiful of course, but we really wanted to work with a venue that didn't treat us like just another couple. We visited 10 other venues & we just couldn't see ourselves getting along with the staff or trusting or \"happiness\" on our big day to the other venues. The other venues felt more like & in & out business transaction. However, the Wild Carrot was a completely different story. Literally from the time we walked in their doors Laura & Casey were positive & so in tune with us. They made us feel so welcomed. It honestly felt like we had been friends for forever & what better way to plan your wedding than with a friend. No question was too stupid, no idea too crazy. As busy as they are they really listened & took time to make our day feel special. After booking we went to the Off White wedding event they hosted in 2019. There were hundreds of guests & Laura took the time to come talk to me about my big day & met my MOH. Her actions speaks volumes to the type of caring person she is. I mean what owner does that?!The venue it's self is GORGEOUS!! It's unique, so well laid out, and it's perfect for a ceremony or reception. There are hidden treasures all around which means you don't need to go crazy on the decorating & it makes taking photos in the space that much more amazing! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SPACE!! I don't even like describing it as a space, because truly working with the Wild Carrot it's an experience. The excitement doesn't stop there. Let me tell you about Grace. Grace was in charge the day of our wedding & she had only been with the Wild Carrot for a little while when we met her. We still had a few things to work out a month before the wedding & Grace was on it! Covid made things more difficult, but she had a solution for everything & her eye for detail is ridiculous! Her email threads (sounds silly but you will understand when you book) they are fantastic! Again such a great listener & on the day of the wedding Grace gave me so much peace. Whatever question I had she had an answer. Everyone & everything thing about the Wild Carrot is AWESOME! My day would not have been the same without them. Laura and Casey were so helpful in the entire process (from deciding if we even wanted to have our wedding this year to helping us have a safe event). As soon as we walked in Wild Carrot for the venue tour, we knew this was \"the place\". The wedding was magical, and the venue was perfect. My fiancé and I discovered this venue when they hosted a women owned business popup event the weekend LouFest was canceled in 2018. We were not engaged yet, but both agreed that day this is where we wanted to get married. Laura, Kaitlyn and Casey were all phenomenal. The minute the event started they were in full execution mode and ensured everything went perfectly. We did the mid-level bar package and our guests all thought we went with top shelf. I can't recommend this venue enough. Beautiful space, wonderful people and an amazing part of the city.

Wild Carrot is simply spectacular. I fell in love with the space just from the pictures online. Before we even walked inside to meet Laura for a tour, we both knew that was the spot for our wedding. Laura, Casey & Kaitlyn are absolute gems who made the process fun & easy. They listen intently, offer wonderful suggestions, provide planning materials to help organize the vision, and are patient in answering any and all questions. They went above and beyond to ensure it was our perfect night. The venue itself is just special and gorgeous. Our wedding was very non-traditional, French bohemian vibe, and we wanted it to be an intimate fun-filled celebration and that is exactly what happened. So many guests said it was the MOST beautiful wedding venue they'd ever been to before. The whole night was absolutely perfect and flawless. The bartenders were fantastic and friendly. The entire experience was first class, special, fun and easy!!! I highly recommend Wild Carrot to anyone for any event. XOXOXOXO

Our wedding was almost a month ago and it was such a wonderful night because The Wild Carrot is such an incredible place. We had so many friends & family tell us that this was one of, if not the, most beautiful venues/weddings they had attended. Everyone had an incredible time and it's mostly due to the incredible world inside the Wild Carrot that Laura and Casey have created. We are forever grateful that we were able to have the most important day of our lives in their space. It was so special. We will never forget how amazing everything was. Every piece of the venue is so thoughtful and unique - the furniture, the knick knacks on the shelves, the murals on the walls, etc. It all makes for such a beautifully eclectic style and an unforgettable experience. Our wedding photos are gorgeous because I honestly don't think there is a bad angle in that entire place. Even the bar is like a work of art.As far as the process, Laura and Casey (and their awesome assistant, Kaitlyn) were so helpful and genuinely kind during this entire process... quick to respond to emails, open to discussions, always patient when answering 1,000 questions... we are the luckiest that we were able to meet and work with them. I now recommend the Wild Carrot as a venue to everyone I know who gets engaged... they're truly the best venue but also such wonderful, good hearted people. 1,000 stars out 10, I seriously recommend the Wild Carrot to everyone!

It's been more than a month since the wedding and our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had and what an amazing space Wild Carrot is for a wedding reception! I could go on and on.... these are the highlights: - Cool eclectic space offers a blend of industrial, vintage and mid-century meets modern elements- Bartenders are top of the line, working quickly and artfully to craft drinks and please guests- Owners, Laura and Casey, and their Assistant, Kaitlyn, are amazing to work with and strive to accommodate. Flexible and creative, they work with you to meet your vision for the space, customizing your layout, and allowing you to bring in your own elements and vendors.If I could give Wild Carrot 10 stars, I would. it was such a \"above and beyond\" experience!

It's been more than a month since the wedding and our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had and what an amazing space Wild Carrot is for a wedding reception! I could go on and on.... these are the highlights: - Cool eclectic space offers a blend of industrial, vintage and mid-century meets modern elements- Bartenders are top of the line, working quickly and artfully to craft drinks and please guests- Owners, Laura and Casey, and their Assistant, Kaitlyn, are amazing to work with and strive to accommodate. Flexible and creative, they work with you to meet your vision for the space, customizing your layout, and allowing you to bring in your own elements and vendors.If I could give Wild Carrot 10 stars, I would. it was such a \"above and beyond\" experience!

Working with Laura and the team was awesome. I know I’m not their only client but she definitely makes it feel that way! You get the feeling they really care about your big day and treat it as special, this mindset shows in their professionalism and handling of your event! I’m sure I asked a ton of silly questions (probably more than once lol) and Laura was always eager to help! Not to mention the space and the way it’s decorated/styled is gorgeous!! Cannot say enough about how happy we were with our experience at the venue and guests thought it was gorgeous as well!

We had our wedding reception at Wild Carrot earlier this year, and we can't say enough about how great a venue it is. From the layout and decor of the space to the ability to work with great vendors, Laura and her team did an amazing job helping us host our big day. Our guests were raving about the whole event - especially the craft cocktails served at the amazing bar. We felt very lucky to have our wedding here! Our Wild Carrot June 29th, 2019 wedding was a DREAM! At first I was struggling to find a wedding venue that was just as unique as us. We knew we didn’t want to get married in a church and some of the other venues didn’t feel right. There are not enough words to describe the amazingness of this venue. It’s beautiful, unique, fresh, fun, everything we could have wanted. I sent an email to Laura to inquire about the space and the next morning she called me. Laura and Casey were incredible – they were sweet, efficient, and very easy to work with. We live in Texas, but got married in STL closer to friends and family, and Laura and Casey were so flexible with our meetings and letting us come by to see our space when we were in town, even on the days they were closed. I also had some overbearing family members and Laura and Casey were wonderful at handling them. We had both our ceremony and reception indoor at Wild Carrot. Laura, Casey, and the Wild Carrot team flipped the room so quickly and chose the most beautiful furniture pieces for our special day. I was obsessed with the nontraditional, modern flare of the space and my husband, Mason, loved how it had a full bar and our reception felt like a big party. Family and friends are still raving about how neat our wedding venue was. 1000% would recommend to another couple. I’m still in awe about how beautiful our day was. Wild Carrot was the perfect venue for our big day. The space is expertly designed down to every vase, potted plant, coffee book and MCM piece of furniture. The whole venue is absolutely stunning and photographs very well. However the best part is working with Laura, Casey and their team. They are easy to work with, always available and genuinely care to make sure your wedding day is the best day of your life. Everything went perfectly and I think that I have WC to credit for a large portion of that.

I love Wild Carrot and could not be happier that we had our wedding reception there. Laura and Kaitlyn are so sweet, helpful, great at communicating and so willing to help you get exactly what you want out of your event. Besides the fact that they are amazing people to work with, the space is gorgeous. They put so much thought into creating a beautiful, unique, welcoming environment that’s flexible to meet your needs. And(bonus!) one of our guests is a sommelier and she told me how impressed she was with the wine they served! I would 100% recommend WC to all future brides. It was one of the best decisions we made!

I could not have picked a better venue that WC. Laura and Casey and phenomenal, their staff is amazing, and their venue leave you speechless. This review is LONG over due (I got married in April 2019), but I am still hearing raving comments about WC from friends and family. Guests have raved about everything from the style of the space, the decor, and the bartenders (they REALLY loved the bartenders). When we first saw Wild Carrot and met Laura and Casey, they were in the beginning of construction, my now husband was a little concerned with what I saw at Wild Carrot and my vision. Once he came in on the wedding day, he was amazed at all the amazing work Laura and Casey had completed in a year. Laura and Casey are the people you want to hang out with and be friends with after the wedding is done. I can’t say enough good things about everything and everyone at Wild Carrot. If you are looking for an eclectic, down to earth, and sweet people, Wild Carrot is the place to be.

We had our daughter's wedding at the Wild Carrot last weekend. Our guests felt the place was amazing! We have received so many compliments about the venue and the experience! The bartending is great! When there were lines at the bar, in the beginning, someone on the staff brought out trays of red and white wine which cut the lines down to a reasonable wait. The mixed drinks got raves! Thank you for making the night so much fun! BTW, no one complained about parking on 39th street and everyone was impressed with the officer and his pup that were on patrol!

Laura was so helpful throughout the process, and so easy to touch base with. I especially appreciated her opening up Wild Carrot for us a couple of times as my parents and my husband's parents were visiting from out of town and wanted to check out the space, too! In short, I can't imagine having my wedding some other place. I'm so glad we stumbled across Wild Carrot.

You guys! I can't say enough about how amazing Wild Carrot was as our wedding day vendor. We had our ceremony in their outdoor space and reception inside. As soon as you pull up to the venue you'll smile at the simplistic beauty of it. The outdoor space has lush green grass, a brand new tall wood fence on one side and trees planted on the other side and up front, making for a gorgeous backdrop. The hanging lights above create an atmosphere of romance for sure. The indoor space is jaw-dropping! The industrial modern look calls your eyes to look in every direction without being overwhelming. The bar is made from one of the owner's grandfather's old barn and draws your attention to it's stunning-ness right away. There are hand painted murals on multiple walls and a loft space that could be used for anything your mind decides on. The owners Laura and Casey become fast friends as soon as well met them. They worked with us and were able to adjust in order for us to have everything that we wanted for our wedding day. They met with us anytime we wanted and let us view the space to make our plans as needed. They were at the venue during the wedding and until the last guest left. Have your wedding here! At least go see the space, I'm sure you will fall for it immediately like my husband and I did!
