Nestled in the rural town of Topsfield, MA, Willowdale Estate is a historic wedding venue offering couples the stately grandeur of a bygone era. Newly renovated, this Tudor Revival stone mansion is a one-of-a-kind setting for a timeless lifetime celebration. Welcoming clients of every race, religion, and gender identity, this unique home features an eclectic mix of medieval motifs and artistic craftsmanship. Immersed in historical surroundings, you can enjoy innovative cuisine and modern amenities that will simply take your breath away. Just a 35-minute drive north of Boston, Willowdale Estate is a picturesque location for an understated destination wedding. Set within the 720-acre confines of Bradley Palmer State Park forest, this secluded property is bursting with possibilities for seasonally-inspired outdoor and indoor events. During the venue's Tent Season, between 125 and 240 guests can soak in the woodland ambiance under a handcrafted Sperry tent and tasteful lighting. The garden courtyard is ideal for large outdoor ceremonies, while across the grounds, a variety of intricate details offer enchanting backdrops. Intimate weddings are invited to embrace the rustic beauty during Mansion Season, with room for between 80 to 125 guests within the 1902 estate. In late Winter, the glass conservatory has everything needed for a magical ceremony, including panoramic views and exposed fieldstone. The Great Room is a particularly memorable setting for micro weddings of up to 90, with its cathedral ceilings and ornate orchestra balcony. What to say about our Willowdale experience.. It was amazing!! As many other couples have said, the professionalism and care you receive from the staff at Willowdale is unmatched. We had the help of Jeannine and she made us feel completely taken care of during every step of the planning and day of. Even the post wedding decor pickup was a breeze! I remember right before I walked down the aisle, Jeannine held me gaze and reminded me to breath, making me feel as calm as possible before that big moment. Loved her and all the lovely people who work at Willowdale.Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and I think a lot of that has to do with the venue itself. The whole 360° experience of being at Willowdale makes everyone feel so cozy. I think our guests loved getting kind of lost in the different rooms of the mansion and having lots of opportunity to not only dance at the tent, but explore the building.We also had rain during our reception, but that didn't stop the fun! The tent got warm but hey, we were dancing our tushies off.. Not sure you can stay dry when the party is so good đ Additionally the cookies provided by Willowdale were definitely the star of dessert. We aren't cake lovers so we just opted with the cookies and coffee bar for our dessert portion. Safe to say it was a HIT! Our guests still ask about the cookies and everyone felt strongly that all of the food was absolutely delicious.You will 1000% have an amazing wedding at Willowdale in any of their packages or seasons. It's the kind of venue that does a ton of the heavy lifting for a wedding, allowing you to enjoy your day and all of the craziness that comes along with it. 13/10 would totally recommend!

Choosing Willowdale Estate for our wedding venue was hands down one of the best decisions we made in our planning process. From the hospitality we received when we came for our initial tour to the post-wedding gift the team sent us after our date, we could not have asked for a better experience. The venue itself is beautiful with its historic charm, and it was made even better with the seasonal holiday decorations that were up for our December wedding. Willowdale had everything we needed for our wedding, including two sizable groomsmen/bridal suites, handicap-accessible entrances and bathrooms, and an amazing staff that was SO helpful leading up to and during our wedding. Several of our guests the next morning even commented how fantastic and accommodating the staff was throughout the day and night.Another major highlight at Willowdale is the food. Throughout the night we had multiple guests come up to us and tell us that our venue had the best wedding food they've ever eaten. And we wholeheartedly agree. The hors d'oeuvres were incredible (we also had many options to choose from), and the dinner was absolutely delicious. The food at Willowdale is a true differentiator from other weddings.Finally, we have to commend our wedding coordinator, Emily, and the entire staff at Willowdale for helping us throughout the day and making sure everything was perfect. Emily was completely in control and on top of every detail, and frequently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. She even made sure that, after our ceremony, we had a few minutes alone to have some apps and relax before the rest of the night. She and the entire Willowdale staff decorated the venue perfectly and worked with us to accommodate special requests. We're very grateful that we had such a great team who helped us have an amazing wedding.

We could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding! Neither of us ever imagined we'd get married in the winter time, but the second we stepped into the Estate it just felt like it was meant to be. We got married 12/1/23 and the entire night was a perfect celebration with our families and friends, many thanks to the staff at the Willowdale and our vendors. Our guests have been raving about the food, the ambiance and the uniqueness of the Willowdale Estate, and we wholeheartedly agree! We could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding! Our wedding at Willowdale Estate was truly as close to perfection as it can get. Everything from the food to holiday decor was spectacular, and our day of coordinator Jeannine and the staff were absolutely amazing throughout the planning and the day of! Willowdale was very accommodating through our process of rescheduling our wedding from 2020 and we are so grateful that we were able to make it happen. They are professionals who know how to keep everything organized and seamless. We and our guests had an absolutely wonderful time. We are so happy with our choice of having our wedding at Willowdale and highly recommend the venue to other couples!

We had the absolute best wedding experience at the Willowdale. The food was incredible (not just \"great for a wedding\" but actually great) and they tackled all of our dietary restrictions easily. The venue was really well laid-out and made for both a beautiful and meaningful ceremony and also a fun and memorable reception. Our coordinator, Jeannine, had everything completely managed and timed down to the minute with backup plans upon backup plans so we could focus 100% on being in the moment.One of the reasons we initially looked at this venue is that they had a really easy backup plan if there was bad weather, but we learned that this was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how well thought out everything is. There are little things like moving the guests through different parts of the grounds during different parts of the ceremony/reception so they get to spread out and enjoy the venue. But also things like having windows that overlook the outdoor ceremony so you can see the guests arrive.Our guests really enjoyed how it felt like they did a lot during the wedding but at no point did they feel rushed. This is 100% due to the experience and thoughtfulness of the staff.We would highly recommend the Willowdale to anyone looking for a stress-free, wonderful wedding experience!

From wedding planning start to post wedding end Willowdale did the MOST. Everything was so seamless, easy, beautiful, and delicious. We have received so many compliments on our wedding and we had the best day. It was the perfect venue and I can't say better things about the staff and estate. The getting ready areas were so relaxing and comfortable before the ceremony and the venue was cosy and bright for my December day. 10/10 wedding coordination services, we felt taken care of and important on our special day. Wish we could get married here all over again.

From wedding planning start to post wedding end Willowdale did the MOST. Everything was so seamless, easy, beautiful, and delicious. We have received so many compliments on our wedding and we had the best day. It was the perfect venue and I can't say better things about the staff and estate. The getting ready areas were so relaxing and comfortable before the ceremony and the venue was cosy and bright for my December day. 10/10 wedding coordination services, we felt taken care of and important on our special day. Wish we could get married here all over again.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish! My husband and I are over the moon with how it all turned out. Truly something out of a fairytale. We got to work with the best vendors and best staff! The coordination was impeccable and the details and work that went into it made our day so special. We got to work one on one with Willowdaleâs finest, Jeannine, and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was thoughtful and so helpful, and even fed us in a bathtub during our photoshoot to make sure we got to taste our apps lol such a team player :) !!!The venue itself is absolutely dreamy and perfect in every way. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish! My husband and I are over the moon with how it all turned out. Truly something out of a fairytale. We got to work with the best vendors and best staff! The coordination was impeccable and the details and work that went into it made our day so special. We got to work one on one with Willowdaleâs finest, Jeannine, and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She was thoughtful and so helpful, and even fed us in a bathtub during our photoshoot to make sure we got to taste our apps lol such a team player :) !!!The venue itself is absolutely dreamy and perfect in every way. We had the absolute best wedding day and are so grateful we chose Willowdale as our venue. From the moment we saw Willowdale, it was an immediate yes from us, but it was the continued support and service Willowdale provided that made our day there so special. We had the pleasure of working with Julia over the past year and she was absolutely amazing!! I remember showing up with car loads of decor being so nervous how it will all turn out and Julia was so calm and collected that I left with one less thing to worry about. And let me tell you, Julia and her team exceeded our expectations. The estate looked beautiful inside and out. Julia was so organized and worked with us to accommodate our Muslim guests with halal meat and our Lebanese Zaffe performance. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was, especially the cookies. 10/10 venue!!

What can we say, it was a dream come true! We got married at Willowdale 5/26/23 and Jeannine L. was our day-of coordinator. Three months later our guests are still saying \"best wedding ever\" and we had the most wonderful time of our lives. Willowdale leaves no stone unturned, nothing out of place, everything was on time and executed perfectly. The service was incredibly professional from start to finish, unrivaled in elegance.The only minor snafu we had was the groom lost his boutonniere and in the blink of an eye Jeannine handmade one that was identical! Any time we thought we wanted something during the event, Jeannine and the team was already making it happen. She read our minds and managed the flow of the day seamlessly. We had full drinks and plates of food all night. Our guests were kept comfortable when it got chilly and the tent walls were lowered. We really can't say enough good things about our experience. It was absolutely worth it in every way. Not to mention that Willowdale is incredibly beautiful and looks like a fairytale in our photos. It is hard to put into words our love for Willowdale - our wedding was truly magical, even on a day with torrential rain! From our first visit on a dreary day we fell in love, and we knew that if we loved it on a gray day, we would love it on a summer day (which, in the end, was quite gray until the same came out just in time for some fabulous photos in the courtyard). Alyssa was incredibly helpful every step of the way - she was patient with the million emails from me, my husband, and my mom, she worked seamlessly with our photographer, DJ, and florist, and with the Kosher caterer that we needed for our wedding. We genuinely did not have an ounce of stress on wedding day - we knew that Alyssa and the Willowdale team had everything under control and for lack of better words, our wedding was absolutely perfect - our only wish is to do it all over again because it was so fun, so beautiful, and so special!

Driving up to Willowdale Estate is a magical experience. Once you get inside the estate doors, the magic only continues as you work with their incredible staff. The grounds are cared for with such intention and pride that you immediately feel at home. Our day of wedding coordinator made sure we had everything we needed before, during, and after our wedding day with grace and incredible attention to detail. I am someone who loves details and spent a lot of time in the wedding planning process thinking about how I wanted my guests to feel as they celebrated with me and my partner. I felt completely assured, as I handed over 18 months of planning to my coordinator, that every single detail we had crafted would be perfectly executed â and in some cases even exceeding my expectations. Our coordinator knew the space so well and was so on top of understanding our vision that I felt incredibly calm heading into our day because I knew everything would be exactly as I hoped. And a bonusâŠeverything ran perfectly on time, which is an absolute must for me!Our coordinator also made sure that we were not only eating and drinking enough water (VERY IMPORTANT) but made time in our schedule for my partner and I to just have time together. This was SO important for us and really allowed us to take in the significance of what was happening. Our coordinator (and the rest of the team) was beyond accommodating to the allergies and food preferences of our group. She approached our menu with a kind of consideration for unique situations that I have rarely seen at function venues and catering services after almost 10 years in communications/events.The food was absolutely amazing. I am still hearing from guests about their favorite appetizer. We loved Willowdale for their commitment to supporting local farmers and vendors and the food sure did not disappoint. The Willowdale chef was extremely accessible at our tasting and answered any questions that we had about the meals, especially when it came to making alterations to her creations for everything from severe food allergies to preferences. She was accommodating and completely game to try something new. We could not be more thrilled with the food and the staff that worked with our guests.I cannot say enough about Willowdale and the people that make it the stunning wedding venue it is. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a home on the North Shore for an epic celebration. My partner and I couldnât picture celebrating our wedding with family and friends anywhere else and with any other staff.

If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing about our experience with Willowdale. We got married here on 5/19/2023 and everything about the venue and the staff was above and beyond. The Willowdale team was there to help and support us every step of the way, and always answers our questions kindly and super thoroughly. We were lucky enough to work with Julia as our coordinator who was always so pleasant and helpful. We might have given her a tad more work than the typical couple she works with but she accepted everything we threw her way with a smile! From our Details meeting a few weeks out through the Day-Of, we never had to worry about a thing with Julia there - she was always on top of everything and making sure the whole day ran smoothly. In addition to Julia, the bartenders, servers, and any other staff we encountered were absolutely amazing and always so friendly. While I could go on about how awesome the people were, I'd be remiss not to talk about how gorgeous the estate and the grounds are. It was like getting married in a magical garden and fit every aspect of a fairytale wedding. And of course, the food was incredible - everything from the passed hors doeuvres to the entrees to the cookies and donuts was absolutely delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about every aspect of our wedding at Willowdale - staff, food, venue, you name it! I truly couldn't say enough good things about this place and wish I could get married here again!

We had the pleasure of working with Kelsey for my wedding, even though I was an overseas client, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Despite the distance, she was incredibly responsive and always available to answer any questions I had. Willowdale was the first and only venue that we toured. On the drive back from the tour, we decided that it seemed perfect for us. Now that everything is done, I can confirm that we were correct. Everyone was very helpful and made things much more simple and calm then I thought they would be. Questions were always answered very quickly. Alyssa was very helpful and kind from our first meeting until the end of the wedding. Answering every question and assuaging every concern. Even helping to fasten boutonnieres to the guys when we were struggling with them. On the day, everything went exactly the way we hoped it would. We really could not have asked for more and I cannot recommend Willowdale enough.

Emily was great with helping us iron out all the details and ensured that everything was perfect on the day of. All the staff seemed happy to be there and the whole venue was beautiful. We did some pictures down on the boardwalk by the Ipswich River, which is less than100 yards away from the building. Inside is a perfect mix of fancy and cozy. She was always there to help us and make sure we had food and drinks throughout the night. All the staff were quick on their feet to manage the unexpected too, so well that we didnât even notice! The whole night was flawless. Willowdale took the stress out of wedding planning and the staff were incredibly friendly, compassionate, and professional. So many guests told us they have never had so much fun at a wedding or that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Also the food is delicious! I highly recommend the Maine Crab Rangoons and the Zucchini Fritters â I am still thinking about them. The tomato bisque was scrumptious. I am hoping a friend of mine gets married at Willowdale so I can go back!

She was extremely professional and very responsive to every single email I sent her... trust me I sent a lot! She made us feel so taken care of and let us be at ease to just enjoy the day while she kept her finger on the pulse of all the hustle and bustle behind the scenes. I couldn't have imagined the day without her. She worked flawlessly with our other vendors and kept the ceremony and reception moving without a hitch. We received nothing but the kindest words from our guests who all had a wonderful time at our wedding. From the decor, to the food and drinks, to the overall flow of the evening. Everything was simply perfect. We couldn't have asked for more!

They had a lot of menu options to choose from so even our guests with restrictions had many delicious appetizers to enjoy. Absolutely LOVED this venue! All of our wedding dreams came true because of this beautiful, breathtaking place and their amazing team! Alyssa was so helpful and supportive along the way and was there for everything that we could have needed. We had a winter wedding and it truly was so magical, not to mention the food was out of this world. We are still getting compliments from our guests telling us how it was the best wedding food they ever had and we couldn't agree more. Absolutely worth every penny and more. I can't say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a romantic winter wedding and not have to worry about a thing the day of.

My Wife and I loved everything about Willowdale! We were looking for a old dark mansion style wedding and Willowdale was the one we both instantly fell in love with. We could not be happier with everything that Alyssa and her team did for us during the day. The food was amazing and they were very accommodating in regards to my allergies. The minor details that meant alot to us were carefully done, and executed. Everyone of our family and friends said how impressed they were with our choice in venue. Just to make things better the COOKIES are amazing!!!! I would do it all over again just for those! Everyone of the staff members is very professional and attentive. They all took pride in our day and made sure it was perfect. 10/10 would recommend Willowdale. If you book here you will not be disappointed!

It snowed in the morning to make the most beautiful scene, but the really amazing part was the staff that kept the whole night running flawlessly. Willowdale Estate did everything right for our wedding. We cannot express how great a decision it was to have our wedding here. Our wedding was a winter wedding and inside (we had 73 guests in total). The guests loved the venue, and the historical aspect of the mansion made it so much cooler. Our coordinator was Julia and having her on our big day made everything easier. She was there when we needed her (big request or small), and she made herself readily available throughout the process. Making sure if there was anything we needed it was taken care of. Going through the whole process for the ceremony and formal introduction Julia was a saint. If you are someone who needs exact detail to the Nth degree Willowdale will make sure that you are taken care of. We were able to drop off our decorations the week of wedding and the way they displayed everything was just fantastic. We wanted to do a in Memory section for all the people who couldn't be there for our wedding and it just looked fantastic. Hors D'oeuvres and the food served was fantastic. My wife and I cannot do dairy and the kitchen staff was able to take care of everything. The Willowdale Chocolate Chip cookies were also able to be made vegan. They were a huge hit with the guests. The wait staff did a spot on job and were so helpful. Spots to take pictures are plentiful, our sendoff was gorgeous. We even did our engagement shoot on the grounds. Being able to have the ceremony and reception all in one made it so easy for us and our guests. If you are looking for an intimate venue with 100 guests or less (winter time) you should definitely pick Willowdale Estate. You will not have any regrets and just have the best wedding.

Willowdale is not only one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding but also has the best coordinating team, event staff, and food! Our experience was nothing but extraordinary from start to finish. Alyssa and her team made sure we were extremely well taken care of on our day as well as the weeks leading up to it. They even supplied us a place setting of hors d'oeuvres and drinks in the bridal suite during cocktail hour for us to take a breather and have a moment just to ourselves. Our moments there are some of my favorite moments from the entire night! As a bride who wanted to do a lot of my own decor, the drop-off process prior to the event was also a breeze and it was so exciting to see how well they helped complete the vision of my wedding day I've had since a little girl. On top of all of this, the food is absolutely incredible. Every single guest came to tell us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, some even saying it was one of the best meals they'd had in recent memory! When we first toured Willowdale Estate, we knew it was the wedding venue of our dreams. The intricate woodwork, the cozy and intimate atmosphere, and the stunning glass room were all breathtaking. We booked this venue for a Friday evening where they would still have their Christmas decorations up and it made everything so much easier as I didn't need to bring practically any decor. They let us use artificial Christmas trees as our arbor which added even more beauty to the glass ceremony room. Every email was responded to promptly, the food was absolutely delicious (we had filet mignons and scallops). We received so many compliments on the food and desserts, and the chef accommodated any and all allergies and ensured every person had a delicious meal that night. The night was so smooth, guests were gently encouraged to the next area from the ceremony to cocktail hour, and back into the ceremony area for dinner. Our coordinator Jeannine was fabulous, and took us away into our own room after ceremony to enjoy appetizers and a few moments alone. Jeannine was routinely checking in with us to ensure the food was perfect and that we didn't need anything. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful and perfect our wedding was. We would LOVE to have another event at Willowdale!

Their online planning pod made organizing extremely easy and once we met our personal coordinator, Jeanine, the process became even more enjoyable. Every step of the way she was there to answer questions and guide us right to the alter. My actual wedding day was the best day of my life. Once we arrived at the Willowdale with our wedding party Jeanine made the day feel like a breeze and took all of my nerves away. Perfection at Willowdale! Our family gathering at Willowdale exceeded my expectations thanks to the meticulous execution of the plan by the entire team. The communication was professional and clear from the initial tour, throughout the booking and planning process as well as discreetly during the event. Jeannine the event planner/coordinator listened and understood our vision for this gathering. It was evident that the entire service team also understood the plan as they provided friendly, warm service to our guests. The estate is beautifully authentic, welcoming, elegant and comfortable. The bright and spacious conservatory was a lovely dining area. The back room with a tiled mural provided a special space for an intimate service. The food was delicious, generously portioned and appetizingly presented. Guests appreciated the attention to dietary restrictions and allergies. All of my GF guests commented that the GF chocolate chip cookies that were served were the best GF CCC they have ever tasted. The other desserts were also reportedly \"best ever\". My husband and I got married at the Willowdale on November 25th, 2022. When I say that everything was perfect I truly mean it. We had Jeannine help us with our planning, and she really went above and beyond. Every question we had she had an answer ready for us, and was willing to help with anything we needed. The rest of the staff at the wedding was wonderful as well. Everyone had a smile on their faces and were kind to our guests.The house itself is a one in a million venue. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful it was decorated and just how many rooms there were. We had 94 people at our wedding, and yet it still felt so intimate within the house.The food was phenomenal. For weeks after the wedding we were receiving texts about the appetizers especially. We had guests who have nut allergies, and so the chef was able to make a completely nut free menu which was a huge deal to us! They even made their famous chocolate chip cookies nut free and those were a big hit.I truly could not imagine a more perfect day than what we had. The Willowdale estate was everything we wanted and so much more. Our wedding felt like a fairytale. We are so thankful for the staff, especially Jeannine, who made our special day what it was!

My husband and I got married at the Willowdale on November 25th, 2022. When I say that everything was perfect I truly mean it. We had Jeannine help us with our planning, and she really went above and beyond. Every question we had she had an answer ready for us, and was willing to help with anything we needed. The rest of the staff at the wedding was wonderful as well. Everyone had a smile on their faces and were kind to our guests.The house itself is a one in a million venue. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful it was decorated and just how many rooms there were. We toured Willowdale for our first venue visit way back in February 2021. As we walked out to the parking lot afterwards, we knew we didnât need to visit anywhere else - Willowdale was the place for us. From day 1 of booking all the way through nearly two years of planning and then finally the big day of November 2022, the team ensured we were well cared for. The payment schedule and planning portal were both key tools that kept us on track for the big day. Though the portal has some quirks, we were still able to get questions answered and everything set up correctly. As a queer couple, we had a great experience working with the Willowdale folks-we never felt out of place or nervous about working with the staff. Their inclusivity made our planning and wedding day much less stressful! A huge shoutout also goes to our amazing day-of coordinator Jeannine. She was absolutely the best to work with; she was so patient with our lists of questions and follow ups, and was key to the success of the wedding day. We never had to worry about where we were supposed to be, what we needed to do - Jeannine ran a tight ship and the compliments from our guests showed it! We heard from our friends and family how much fun the day was, how yummy the food was (especially the cookies!), and how gorgeous the property was. If you want a memorable wedding day with low stress and high quality everything - Willowdale is the place to be.

While Iâm sure every coordinator is incredible at Willowdale, we happened to be paired with Julia and she is simply exceptional! She is professional, experienced, and full of expertise. From the first time we connected with her, we knew we were in the absolute best hands. She had an answer to every question we had, always offered helpful suggestions and input, and made us feel taken care of. There was nothing she couldnât come up with a solution to when needed and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of planning a wedding. Julia was continuously accommodating to our every request, always quick to respond to emails with our many questions and always there to answer your call when you need her. On the actual wedding day itself, my husband and I didnât worry or think once about the wedding coming together - we had complete and total trust in Julia to know sheâd execute the day perfectly. She is so thoughtful, she did everything from bringing out a tray of appetizers for all of us as we were taking photos to even bustling my dress before we were introduced at the reception and everything else in between. She is a gem of a person, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish.As for catering, our guests couldnât say enough that it was hands down the best food theyâve had at a wedding. We were drawn to Willowdaleâs extensive catering menu because of its unique spins on hors dâoeuvres, all of their seasonal options, and so many amazing desserts and add ons â it made it very difficult to choose because everything sounded incredible! On our wedding day, we certainly felt Willowdaleâs focus and pride in their catering as all the food was extremely fresh and beautifully presented. As soon as we finished our tour of Willowdale I knew immediately that I wanted to book. We had a winter wedding / mansion style in early December. Willowdale was beautifully decorated with white poinsettias and white lights, it was absolutely stunning. I love the layout of the Estate compared to a function hall. Willowdale offers a more intimate setting, that feels more personable. Guests can easily escape to a quiet room if they would prefer to talk to others instead of being near the dance floor. But thereâs still plenty of space for anything you would want as well. I heard from countless guest how delicious the appetizers/dinners were and how can you not love the cookies! The staff is also incredible, from booking, to our big day, every step of the way someone was able to answer any questions I had. We also LOVED our wedding coordinator Emily. She was so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Keeping us updated throughout our big day! We are so thankful we had her! If youâre considering Willowdale you will not be disappointed! If I had to get married all over again I would still choose Willowdale Estate as my reception venue. The mansion is beautiful inside and out. The staff were kind, flexible, and organized - even when my \"wedding brain\" was not. The attention to detail was impeccable. My husband and I are big foodies thus meal options and the quality of food served were two major priorities when we were choosing a venue. Willowdale and the culinary team exceeded our expectations - I still dream of the sausage stuffed dates we had as an appetizer! I want to also mention that our day of coordinator, Alyssa, was an absolute pleasure to work with. I did not have to worry about a single thing day of wedding. She orchestrated all of our vendors, the flow of the night, brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers after photos, bustled my dress since no one else could figure it out, and she even packed us up extra cookies and desserts for my husband and I to enjoy at home. Every detail was perfect and no ask was too big for Willowdale Estate.

The staff were kind, flexible, and organized - even when my \"wedding brain\" was not. The attention to detail was impeccable. My husband and I are big foodies thus meal options and the quality of food served were two major priorities when we were choosing a venue. Willowdale and the culinary team exceeded our expectations - I still dream of the sausage stuffed dates we had as an appetizer! I want to also mention that our day of coordinator, Alyssa, was an absolute pleasure to work with. I did not have to worry about a single thing day of wedding. She orchestrated all of our vendors, the flow of the night, brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers after photos, bustled my dress since no one else could figure it out, and she even packed us up extra cookies and desserts for my husband and I to enjoy at home. Every detail was perfect and no ask was too big for Willowdale Estate.

The planning.I can not rave enough how wonderful our experience was with Willowdale from day 1 in the planning process till the actualâBIGâ day arrived and was flawless this Fall (October 2022)As a mother of the bride I can not speak more highly of the advantage of having a venue that has their own wedding coordinator and in house farm to table catering.The food was outstanding . âThe best wedding food I have ever had â, as many of our guests complimented. Can not go wrong with any of their selections ⊠but highly recommend the Short Ribs!The staff was excellent, everything you would hope they would be and better. In fact, when one of the wait staff members learned that my sister was Gluten free .. she sought her out in the crowd at the cocktail hour with a whole plated selection of hordâoeuvres. A kind and very appreciated gesture! Our wedding coordinator, Emily, made everything easy, enjoyable, exceptionally fun and seamless on the day of, and all the pre-planning the months leading up to the wedding.Everything from picking the menu selections and table settings and room decor (upgrades and all ) to lining up the the bridal party procession and and so much more. Willowdale Estate is truly the perfect place to get married. Due to the uncertainty of New England weather, we wanted a venue that could have a perfect sun ceremony outdoors and if ultimately had to go with a rain plan, it was going to be just as perfect. When the weather looked bad for the weekend of our wedding, Willowdale delivered on all fronts. Working with all of our requests to move the ceremony indoors, to moving the bar under the tent, every ask was met. Not only is the venue stunning, but the staff from viewing the property, to making payments, to the servers and bartenders day of are top notch. You receive a coordinator 6 weeks out from your wedding and our coordinator Alyssa was unbelievable. I threw every question at her and she answered them with ease and if she needed to follow up with me on something, the communication was always next day. There were zero concerns going into wedding weekend with this venue and we cannot recommend it enough. Food came out piping hot for guests, apps were endless. I also cannot recommend enough getting the ice cream sandwiches - Our guests loved them 100/100. Willowdale is not only everything you would want in a venue but also an exceptional team of staff to work with.

Willowdale was the perfect wedding venue for our August 2022 wedding. From the moment we stepped onsite we knew it was it! Willowdale is beautiful inside and out; it has both the classic mansion and classy garden vibe. We had about 160 guests attend our August wedding and there was plenty of space for guests to move about both inside during cocktail hour as well as under the tent. The bridal suits made getting ready easy and fun and were a great place for photos! The food was outstanding from cocktail hour through the delicious chocolate chip cookies! Willowdale's planning team is top notch and very professional. They were super helpful with any questions we had throughout the planning process. We were assigned Julia as our day coordinator and she was incredible! She helped us create a timeline that allowed us to have time to do everything we wanted but still relax and have fun. Her and her team set up all the decor and made it all stress free; we were really able to just show up and have fun while Julia kept everything moving smoothly.We loved everything about our day, the venue, the team and the food! We are still getting compliments from our guests that they had an amazing time. You should choose Willowdale, you won't regret it!
