Spectacular Beach Front Banquet Facility
Windows On The Water is a beachside wedding venue located in Sea Bright, NJ. This setting combines sophisticated elegance with casual relaxation for couples and their loved ones. With its own private beach on New Jersey Shore, breathtaking ballroom, and mouthwatering cuisine, it will turn your special day into an unforgettable celebration. Ideal for soon-to-be-weds that want to say their vows under the sun, Windows On The Water offers all they need for their heart-warming evening. Each onsite venue space offers picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and Shrewsbury River. Your outdoor ceremony will take place on the sandy beach, with the sound of the ocean waves as your natural soundtrack. A paved walkway leads to the main gazebo, where you can place your wedding arch. The covered Atlantic Deck will be available for your guests cocktail hour, where they can enjoy the seaside and sunset. The deck is also climate-controlled, with enclosing glass features for you to enjoy during any season. Afterwards, your guests will travel upstairs, via the grand staircase, to the Empress Ballroom for your reception. Delicate chandeliers hang above the spacious dance floor, to add an elegant aesthetic as you move to the music. Plenty of windows surround the space, to ensure that guests are never starved of the view. Dressing suites are also available onsite, for you and your wedding party to prepare for the ceremony in comfort. The catering team at Windows On The Water has an array of cuisines to choose from, to match any couple’s nuptial theme. Their menu ranges from butler-style hors d’oeuvres to seated dinners to carving stations. Everything about our wedding at Windows on the Water in Sea Bright was perfect! This was the first venue we visited, and we fell in love with the view and atmosphere. Our guests got to enjoy that beautiful view all day, from our outdoor ceremony, to the open air cocktail hour space, to the large deck connected to the ballroom that they could utilize throughout the reception. There were so many options for food, and all of it was amazing! We got to try pretty much everything between the private dining we elected to do right after our ceremony (do it, so worth it to have some quiet time alone) and getting one of every dinner option delivered to our sweetheart table. All of our guests told us how much they enjoyed themselves at our wedding. What really made our day exceptional was the staff. They were welcoming and attentive to everyone’s needs, and made the transitions from one space to the next and from one part of the event to the next seamless. Our decorations were staged perfectly and at the end of the night, all of our personal items and decorations were carefully packed up to take with us. It was pretty impressive how quickly they got things done. Tracy did an excellent job of coordinating every detail prior to our big day, and she was willing and able to answer all of our questions. The day of, the maître d', Cheryl, made sure everything ran smoothly, frequently checked in with us to make sure we were both taken care of, and was so kind.

I will recommend Windows on the Water in Sea Bright to everyone I know that wants a beach front wedding. Tracy and Cheryl were my two points of contact. They both knew the ins and out of the place. They were so professional, friendly and fantastic when it came to communication. I didn’t run into a single issue on my day because they were there to take care of it all. The food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic and the views you get are unbelievable. I can’t say enough good things about WOW. Truly recommend touring the venue and seeing what they have to offer because it is definitely worth it!!

I will recommend Windows on the Water in Sea Bright to everyone I know that wants a beach front wedding. Tracy and Cheryl were my two points of contact. They both knew the ins and out of the place. They were so professional, friendly and fantastic when it came to communication. I didn’t run into a single issue on my day because they were there to take care of it all. The food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic and the views you get are unbelievable. I can’t say enough good things about WOW. Windows on the Water is simply THE BEST wedding venue! The location: on the beach - outdoor ceremony on a platform on the sand - so you are on the beach without the hassle of sand. A perfect backup plan in case of bad weather leaves everyone feeling so calm. The perfect flow to the event and evening - ceremony outside, cocktail hour on the covered patio with all the windows open making it feel truly indoor/outdoor. Ceremony upstairs in the beautiful reception room with a gorgeous wood bar and upstairs outdoor deck. The food - was incredible! Cocktail hour - especially the raw bar, pasta, carving station was amazing. Dinner was also incredible. All of this is due to Tracy, Cheryl, and their amazing staff. Planning with Tracy was super easy and all of the vendors they recommend were wonderful. We had the best day ever and I cannot say better things about Windows on the Water!

Where do I even begin? Windows on the Water made my wedding dreams come to life. Tracy was so helpful through the entire process and Cheryl stepped in the day of to make everything perfect. The planning process was super simple and easy. Our day ended up raining but Cheryl made the indoor space so beautiful for our ceremony. The food was AMAZING! I was hesitant at first because there is not a tasting but I promise you the food is worth it! Our guests haven't stopped talking about how amazing the food and venue was. Windows on the Water is THE spot for a wedding! My wife and I had our reception at Windows and words cannot express how beautiful and perfect it was across the board (and even on a rainy day!). Tracy was spectacular with the entire process from start to finish, Cheryl leading up to and on the wedding day was an absolute superstar in making sure everything went off without a hitch, and the staff were 100% on point. I can say with complete confidence that I would not change a single thing about our experience with Windows and I would recommend this venue for anyone and everyone for their big day! Excellent wedding venue. If you’re looking for a beach ceremony/beach themed wedding look no further. It’s a really beautiful venue that needs minimal decorations added which is nice because wedding planning is overwhelming. Windows on the water has all the small details already covered for you. The beach is private as well and the gazebo and palm trees make for beautiful photos. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. Food is excellent. My only complaint is you don’t get a food tasting. However, myself and all the reviews from previous brides and grooms can assure you the food is excellent!!

We had the absolute wedding of our dreams at Windows on the Water in September. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! This venue runs like a well-oiled machine when it comes to event planning and execution. Every detail was handled professionally and to our specific requests. The food was top notch, and the staff makes sure that the newlyweds have time alone in the bridal suite to enjoy samples of everything from cocktail hour. We got many compliments on the venue and food and a lot of people told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, including those of their own children. :) Tracy and Cheryl were 100000% on top of everything and went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Kacy was awesome and attentive, and made sure we always had fresh drinks in our hands! The only issue we had was that when we got there we were told the lanterns for our reception tables weren’t included in our contract—which they were and was later verified—so they were dirty and covered in wax, and our florist and her assistant wound up cleaning them and trying to cover them with greenery.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the staff is set on making sure the bride and groom are happy. What more can you ask for from a venue? We initially wanted a destination wedding, and this venue is like a destination wedding in New Jersey. Our guests were blown away and so were we. Cheryl specifically went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of and everything was going well. She checked in on my parents as well throughout the night. She really wanted to make sure the day was special.

The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the staff is set on making sure the bride and groom are happy. What more can you ask for from a venue? We initially wanted a destination wedding, and this venue is like a destination wedding in New Jersey. Our guests were blown away and so were we. Cheryl specifically went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of and everything was going well. She checked in on my parents as well throughout the night. She really wanted to make sure the day was special.

From the first moment we walked in to meet with Tracy the views took our breath away - its a venue like no other and if you're looking to break the mold of the cookie-cutter reception hall this venue is for you! Tracy, Cheryl and Diamond were all excellent, terrific, and absolutely perfection. Tracy took the time during each and every meeting to go over every detail. Cheryl made us feel so special on the big day and had everything perfectly organized. Diamond was just always there for the Bride and Groom's every need, our drink was always full. All parents were taken care of which was a huge deal to us! Do not skimp, you are getting exactly what you pay for here - excellent service, superb food (every single guest still raving about the food), and overall great coordination with all of our vendors made the night go off without a hitch! Can't recommend enough. I want all of my family and friends to have their weddings here so I can selfishly enjoy the food and company of Tracy, Cheryl & Diamond forever!!

From the moment we began planning, Tracy puts you at ease with organized planning and experienced recommendations. Tracy communicated frequently and was always there when you needed her for questions. The days leading up to the wedding I never had to worry about a thing because Tracy had it covered. The day of the wedding the staff, especially Cheryl and Diamond, were outstanding in coordinating every detail of every second of the wedding. I never had to worry about a timeline, the decor, or if i had a drink in my hand. They were there before a thought even came into my mind. They made sure that myself and my husband were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at all times. They made sure we were able to enjoy our time as a couple together before the craziness of the day by giving us a few moments alone to enjoy cocktail hour food alone (which was the most delicious food I've ever had). My friends and family raved about their experience there, from the beautiful access to the beach and deck, to the dinner, cocktail hour, and overwhelming amounts of dessert. I couldn't recommend Windows on the Water more.

My husband and I had our wedding here in June, and I could not be any happier with the entire experience. From our first visit, Tracy was so pleasant to work with and was extremely patient and kind throughout the entire planning process. There are no words for how beautiful this venue is - it truly was the beach wedding I always imagined. From the ceremony under the gazebo on the beach to the cocktail hour room to the reception room - everything was absolutely perfect. My guests kept saying it truly felt like an island destination wedding from how beautiful the beach was. The food was also incredible, and we were able to enjoy everything in the bridal suite as they provided a private cocktail hour for my husband and me. Cheryl and the entire staff the day of were so attentive and really helped make sure everything stayed on track and came together. It truly was the most perfect day and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone!

We had the best experience with Tracy and her staff at windows on the water for our daughters wedding. They were very attentive to our family the bride and groom and everyone in the wedding party. Everything ran so smoothly from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception everything was on time and the food and cocktail hour was superior. The venue was absolutely gorgeous with all of the windows. The ceremony outside under the gazebo with all the baskets of flowers was amazing. Rehearsal dinner went so smoothly everybody knew their places and when to walk down the aisle. Everything was very well organized from the time we sat down to talk about the wedding to the wedding day itself. My daughter and her husband to be had a wonderful time on the day of their wedding. As the mother of the bride and who organized this wedding since my daughter lives abroad I have to say that I was very happy with every step of the way every plan. If you would like to have a very smooth wedding that is well organized you want to go to windows on the water All of my guests commented on what a magnificent wedding this was.Our friends and relatives said this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and a cocktail hour what is second to none they enjoyed everything from the shrimp and carving stations and oysters And there was plenty of food nobody went hungry. The servers and bartenders and maître d’ we’re always around asking if we needed anything to make us more comfortable I would highly a recommend Windows on the water for your next event and most definitely a wedding.

Having our wedding at windows on the water was the best decision EVER! We toured a few other beach venues throughout NJ before touring windows on the water at surfrider and as soon as we got to the venue we knew it was totally perfect in every way. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and was exactly what we had in mind for our wedding: a beautiful view of the ocean, a completely gorgeous and classy venue, but with a casual and fun vibe at the same time, and a beachfront ceremony space. The rooftop deck attached to the ballroom space on the second floor is also breathtaking and SO FUN! We were lucky enough to have great weather for our wedding and we could not have asked for a more perfect golden hour view from the deck. Everyone was enjoying using the outdoor space and Our guests have such great things to say about how good the whole evening went! Since our tour, Tracy was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. She made working with the venue so so so easy from day 1. It literally could not have been less stressful. We never had any concerns that things would not be perfect and not one detail was overlooked. Cheryl is also truly amazing and the entire wedding day was completely seamless. Everything was set up perfectly, the decorations looked incredible, and she was so kind and attentive to our families, bridal party, and us. We felt like we were famous for a day lol it was amazing!!Also, a special thanks to Ali for being a fabulous bridal attendant. (I had a little mix up where there was grease all over the train of my wedding dress and both Cheryl and Ali were so patient, calm, and helpful. They made sure we had time and supplies to get the grease out. Which, luckily, it did come out lol) Lastly, The food was INCREDIBLE. The cocktail hour and the dinner were both equally wonderful. Our guests have been talking about the food non stop (especially the slider bar and paella station) and there’s no way anyone left hungry lol. We cannot recommend this venue enough. THANK YOU CHERYL, TRACY, and the rest of the team for helping us to literally throw the best party EVER

If you want a true Jersey Shore beach wedding, this is the venue for you! There really is no other place like this to get married. It truly looks and feels like a destination island wedding! We toured Windows in 2019 and booked immediately after. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, our wedding was postponed a year. Windows was extremely accommodating, giving us multiple options to postpone, have a micro wedding or even cancel if we wanted to. We decided to postpone a year, which was a great decision. We got married October 2021 and luckily had perfect weather. Even though you don’t get to do a tasting, the food is incredible, specifically cocktail hour. I would 100% recommend getting the hand rolled sushi station. It was the biggest hit at our wedding. We also did a goodbye station of taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches, which were fantastic. We had the imperial topaz package and the dessert spread was just insane. We also loved the private 15 minute cocktail hour that my husband and I got to enjoy in the bridal suite. The staff was also extremely helpful. We worked with Tracy up until the wedding and then Cheryl was our maître d’ and Diamond was our bridal attendant. They provided guidance and anything that we needed day of the wedding. The whole day went smoothly because of them. You do not need a Day of Wedding planner at this venue. One thing though is that the suggested maître d’ fee/tip is not suggested, it’s required and it’s 3% of your total. That was the only thing that we were surprised about, but it was worth it since the Maître d’ and bridal attendant were incredible. Our family and friends are still talking about our wedding!

Windows on the Water was the absolute perfect venue for my husband and I. I Everything about the place was absolutely stunning. I had always dreamed of an elegant beach wedding. She was very easy to communicate with and always filled us in on all of the details. Planning a wedding during the uncertain times of COVID was a bit stressful, but working with Windows on the Water helped ease that stress. When the day of our wedding came, everything went according to plan and was even more beautiful than we could imagine. We were lucky, and got married on August 7th, 2021, and had a \"normal wedding\". Our guests have been raving about the beauty of the venue and how it was the \"best food they have ever had at a wedding.\" Cheryl was our maitre d' and was PHENOMENAL. She made sure that my husband and I were okay constantly and that everything was running smoothly and going according to plan. Our bridal party and family were so impressed by how attentive she was and on top of everything. We truly did not have to worry about a thing on our special day. We cannot thank Windows on the Water enough for our amazing wedding. Everything was perfect, from the beachfront ceremony, cocktail hour, and beautiful reception. Top of the line service by their staff. We just had my daughters wedding on Sunday October 11. After having to cancel a June 2020 they were very accommodating in working to reschedule a new date. Working with Tracey was a true pleasure. She understood our needs and worked with us every step of the way. The food is amazing. The signature drink added the final touch. The sit down dinner was delicious. Their entire staff is very attentive. White glove service for sure. I have to mention the bridal attendant named Lady. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Making sure we were all ok and relaxed. The bridal suite had cold drinks and chips for the bridal party. And you have to go with the baker they use. Omg the red velvet cake and cannoli was smooth as silk and delish. If you want the wedding of your dreams with exceptional service at the best venue, then book with them. Worth every penny. My daughter and son in law were very happy with their wedding

Getting married at Windows on the Water is one of the best decisions Meghan and I have ever made. The service was on par with the venue. Everything was absolutely perfect. Getting married on a beautiful beach in front of our family and friends was truly a dream come true. However, this is not a traditional beach wedding destination because the dining hall provides the atmosphere and amenities of a high-end venue. The staff was experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. Tracy made sure we had everything we desired and made planning the wedding easier and more enjoyable then we expected. Her list of preferred vendors saved us a lot of time and effort, and we were able to happily find our photographer and florist from the suggestions. Brandon, the Maitre’d, was extremely personable while making sure our bridal party knew exactly where to be and what to do. Lady, the bridal attendant, was the life of the party while bending over backwards to get us anything we needed. The cocktail hour was surrounded with a delicious and plentiful food spread including finger foods, carving stations, seafood and pasta. Meghan and I spent half of the cocktail hour in the intimate bridal suite where we had a taste of everything that was being served downstairs brought up to us ensuring that we had some time to catch our breath and eat something. The entree selections were impressive and they all were delicious. My uncle told me numerous times it was the best steak he had ever eaten and his daughter raved about her vegan option as well. For dessert the waffle ice cream sundae bar was a huge hit. Before and after entrees our guests had a great time hanging out on the gigantic second story deck while enjoying the weather and beautiful views of the ocean. The dining hall had excellent acoustics and plenty of room for dancing. Getting married at Windows on the Water is one of the best decisions Meghan and I have ever made. The service was on par with the venue. Everything was absolutely perfect. Getting married on a beautiful beach in front of our family and friends was truly a dream come true. However, this is not a traditional beach wedding destination because the dining hall provides the atmosphere and amenities of a high-end venue. The staff was experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. Tracy made sure we had everything we desired and made planning the wedding easier and more enjoyable then we expected. Her list of preferred vendors saved us a lot of time and effort, and we were able to happily find our photographer and florist from the suggestions. Brandon, the Maitre’d, was extremely personable while making sure our bridal party knew exactly where to be and what to do. Lady, the bridal attendant, was the life of the party while bending over backwards to get us anything we needed. The cocktail hour was surrounded with a delicious and plentiful food spread including finger foods, carving stations, seafood and pasta. Meghan and I spent half of the cocktail hour in the intimate bridal suite where we had a taste of everything that was being served downstairs brought up to us ensuring that we had some time to catch our breath and eat something. Windows on the Water offers the premier beachfront wedding experience. No other venue has a true unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean and is located on the sand with swaying palm trees. The best part? It doesn’t matter if you have perfect 10 sunshine, or rain, because the venue is surrounded by windows overlooking water views from every vantage point. It was the first place we brought my parents, and my Mom said we did not need to look any further. Not to mention, I actually picked the venue on a nasty, rainy day and was mesmerized by the view of the rough surf. From our first meeting with Tracy, we were sold. I knew she was both professional and experienced. Tracy was easy to reach and always answered my questions, almost immediately. Brandon and Lady were equally helpful and personable. From start to finish, I felt like I was truly in good hands. As for the wedding day, we had a perfect day, and the open air cocktail hour was unforgettable. My guests also cannot stop talking about the balcony included off the reception room. Many took a break in the fresh air from dancing, and sat by the warm fire pits. Just amazing! I will be honest, not being able to experience a food tasting beforehand made us nervous, but I can tell you that the food is nothing to worry about. Our guests have been raving about the selection provided at the cocktail hour and have said the skirt steak and jambalaya were especially delicious. The main course was equally tasty. As the bride I was able to get a selection of all of the main courses, and each of them was prepared perfectly. Probably the best wedding food that I have tasted. The ballroom itself was our style: neutral, clean, well-lit and elegant, and did not feel like a stuffy reception hall. The staff was friendly and the service was top notch. Several guests have reached out and said this is the best wedding they have ever been to. We couldn't have asked for better on our wedding day that what Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club provided us. Even a year later, as we approach our first anniversary, we're still overwhelmed with everything. The venue itself, from the beach gazebo setting (Ceremony), to the open veranda (Cocktail Hour), to the amenities (bridal suite, etc.), surpassed expectation and made for a beautiful day.Meanwhile, the entire staff was absolutely professional throughout the event from setup to shutdown. Their efforts in decorating captured our vision for the table-settings, the lighting, and everything else, and they integrated with our other vendors (band, florist) seamlessly. Booking this venue means you will really be able to enjoy yourself on your wedding day, confident that things will proceed without a hitch.Specifically, Tracy, Brandon, and Lady were unbelievably helpful throughout the whole process, from scouting, to booking, to the celebration itself...up to and including when things got a little hairy. Let's just say a certain brightly-colored cocktail got spilled on a certain brilliantly white dress just as the Reception was about to kick off, and without flinching and without hesitation, all 3 stepped in to address and completely fix the problem while the rest of the bridal party stood by in shock! Windows on the Water is the most beautiful venue! We were nervous at first because the ballroom is a rectangular shape, making it long and narrow. I didn't want people to feel squished or awkward when dancing or walking around, but I have to say I think the shape of the room made all the difference! We had the best party and the fact that the room was that shape made it feel more intimate and EVERYONE was dancing together instead of scattered around in various groups. It was also a BIG plus for us that there was no ugly carpet anywhere in the venue. It had beautiful floors throughout and had a very modern, clean feel. We haven't stopped getting compliments on how good the food was and the view on each side of the building is absolutely stunning. Can't give enough positive feedback!

Even before my husband proposed, I knew Windows on the Water would be the place for my future wedding. I was in love with every single aspect from the beach front location to the privacy of the building to the beautiful views and the spacious rooms. When he did propose, it was the first venue we looked at, and thank goodness he fell in love with it too. We did look at other venues before committing, but each one just solidified that WOW was everything we were looking for! The gorgeous space and delicious food are one thing, but I cannot say enough good things about all of the staff at Windows on the Water. Tracy is the absolute best! Phenomenal at what she does! When you are planning a wedding there are so many things to worry about, and she made is so easy. I could literally email her about anything, and I had a lot of silly questions, and she would get back to me with all the answers. I could not have done this without her! Our Maitre D, Brandon, was also outstanding. He went above and beyond our expectations, surprising us with a cute welcome sign at the front door printed in a Disney font (our wedding was Disney themed) and providing us with some cocktail hour music when we were unprepared and had none planned at all. He walked us through the entire night so we didn't have to worry about a thing, and I cannot thank him enough. We also had two excellent servers take care of us all night, Diane and Kate. Diane was in charge of making sure our parents were taken care of and they raved about her all night. I don't know how other venues work when it comes to this, but I thought that was a very thoughtful touch. They were blown away by her service. Kate took care of my husband and I all night and she was was remarkable. I never had to worry about a thing. Even something like making sure my heels were waiting for me after cocktail hour so I could do my first dance in the heels, that's just one example of what she did to make this night absolutely perfect. Everything went so smoothly and it was all thanks to the fabulous staff here at WOW. Thank you for giving us our dream wedding!

We honestly cannot say enough great things about Windows on the Water. We got married there on Friday September 28th. From the moment we stepped in the venue we fell in love with the place. Tracy, the venue manager, was the icing on the cake. She was awesome to work with and her to-do lists enabled us to stay on track, which was important to us since we booked them only 4 months out from our wedding date. The bridal attendant and the maître D, Lady and Brandon, were phenomenal to work with as well. When we met them at our rehearsal the night before, we felt like we already knew them. They took care of all the little details and knew exactly how things were supposed to go. We had plans of our own for how the night should go but after taking their advice early on, we were happy to give up our plans and just follow their lead. They truly are professionals!Also, we were so happy that we used their recommended vendor sheet. As we were standing on the beach taking the last of our pictures before the ceremony, we realized that Lady and Brandon knew our emcee, Ryan from DJ Sounds to Go and head photographer Bogdan from Red Bank Studio Photography well. We didn’t realize how important it was at the time but looking back now, it definitely provided us with a seamless experience from start to finish. Our guests cannot stop raving about our reception. The food was delicious. Cocktail hour can get crazy at a wedding for the bride and groom but they pulled us into the bridal suite immediately after the ceremony and gave us a private sampling. We were so happy that we didn’t miss one of the best parts of any wedding. The cocktail hour is partially outdoors (weather permitting) which was another amazing selling point of the venue. At the end of cocktail hour, while our guests went upstairs for the reception, we were able to finish enjoying the spectacular eats and treats which is a huge bonus. The reception was gorgeous with panoramic views that only this venue can offer. The sunset and moon rising over the ocean added an aesthetic quality that you just can’t get without all those windows. Leading up to our big day, my only concern was that the 15 tables that we had were going to be tight, but I was certainly wrong. We had 160 people and there was no backing your chair up into the table behind you. Also with the venue being setup the way it is, the dance floor extends the length of the room, it provides plenty of room to dance and move around. There truly isn’t a bad thing to say about Windows on the Water (WOW). We can’t wait to go back there for one of our friend’s weddings.

We got married at Windows on the Water on 9/21/18. I can not say enough wonderful things about our experience and working with Tracy! She was always very helpful and prompt with answering any emails! From start to finish everything was perfect! Our guest can not stop raving about the food and the beautiful views this venue has! Everyone had an amazing time and I wish we could do it again!

ANYONE who says this place is not perfection is a liar or has some sort of personality disorder. First, the place is GORGEOUS. The location is the kind that some brides have printed on fake backgrounds for photos. Except you are there. It is like walking into Pinterest. Second, the food. WHAT. I don’t think I have ever really been to a wedding where I liked the food. It’s always sort of boring and.... weddingish?We sat down with chef Pete and he had creative ideas that matched our tastes and every one of them was nailed perfectly. Third - ZOMG THE STAFF. Friendly. Accommodating. Above and beyond. They all went out of their way to keep me on the ball, to keep the party rolling, and most importantly they did it with the sort of kindness you don’t see too often. The whole experience made me feel so bad for brides who choose someplace else, and I am so grateful that I was able to focus on my friends, my family, and my husband (!!) rather than have to worry about details to make the day perfect. My husband I had our wedding reception at Windows on the Water this September and we have not stopped hearing \"but seriously that was the best wedding we ever went to!\" Obviously we first fell in love with the absolute beauty of the venue- from the amazing location to the simplistic elegance of the ballroom. While we didn't have our ceremony onsite, our cocktail hour space flowed onto the deck where there were more high-top tables for people to hang out and take pictures with the sunset.From the beginning when we were just looking at venues Tracy was amazing, answering any questions we had and explaining costs etc (which all brides can agree is a shock at first haha). After booking our date I would call Tracy sporadically with random questions ( how many tables are there at cocktail hour?, can i have two signature drinks?, etc.) and she was always amazing to deal with. I didn't think it could get any better and then I met Brandon a few weeks before my wedding. We met and went over where I wanted every single item and how I wanted the night to flow, and let me tell you he remembered it all. Brandon was also a great sounding board since he knew what has worked best in the space(s). The day finally arrived and I couldn't have asked for anything more! Brandon and his team were amazing- my mom even commented on how friendly the wait and bar staff were. The food was AMAZING (feel free to ask any of our guests.) Brandon made sure that Tom and I had our own private cocktail hour so that we actually got to spend time together (and try all the amazing food).Overall, we could not thank Tracy, Brandon and the Windows on the Water team enough for making our night even more amazing that we thought possible.

The setting is perfect, get married on the beach, a few steps up to cocktail hour, then a few steps up to a gorgeous reception hall. Very little decoration needed as the beach is decoration enough! Tracy and the rest of the Windows staff were exceptional. They were extremely accommodating, helpful, and caring through the whole process. They are with you every step of the way and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They take care of aisle/altar decor, cocktail decor/food, reception decor/food, and have other vendors included in their package to choose your cake. Shout out to the chef, the food was superb! Overall, just a wonderful wedding experience! I definitely recommend Windows on the Water for your wedding! Nick and I are so happy we could share our day there with all of our family and friends<3.Thank you Windows on the Water for a beautiful day!

I got married at WOTW in July 2018. WOTW is a beautiful beach venue with beautiful decor, amazing views, and unbelievably delicious food. I think it is a great option for anyone looking to get married at a beach venue. With that being said, here is what I wish I had known / fully understood / asked more about:1.\tWOTW/Surfrider are beach club first - and a wedding venue second. Keep that in mind, because it matters.2.\tThey do not offer food tastings for those who have booked 3.\tThey are private but there will still be people on the beach during your wedding (if you get married in the summer). Even though their beach is private... the beach is still very much open to the members of the beach club during the day of your wedding. So if you’re imagining a fairly empty beach (or anything close to it) for pictures before your cocktail hour, think again because the beach was covered with people in bathing suits during our pictures. I think if you manage your own expectations - make stops at other more empty areas of the beach before arriving at WOTW - you’ll be fine. 4.\tThe ballroom will most likely be bright during your first dance (if you’re getting married in the summer). Due to town ordinances, weddings MUST be over at 11pm. The earliest that WOTW will start you cocktail hour is 5:30pm. Keep in mind that in the middle of the summer, with a 5:30pm cocktail hour, that puts first dances around 7 or so... so the room will be VERY bright during first dances and for a while after, until the sun sets. This is not the fault of WOTW (of course) - and the windows/view are one of the main reasons I booked the place - but I don’t think I fully realized how bright the room would be during my dance so I just want to pass that tidbit on to other brides and grooms. It just is good to know. 5.\tDay-off access to the venue is limited. Vendors + wedding party are not allowed arrive any more than 2 hours before the start time to set up (or to access the bridal suite, do pictures, etc.). For us, this meant very rushed bridal party pictures, a rushed DJ who couldn’t use the booth we wanted to use, a rushed coordinator trying to set up the vintage glassware we had rented, and ultimately, it resulted in a late reception start time and no time for me to do the walk through that brides typically get to do before the rest of their guests walk up. I hope they change this for future couples, but they seem very much committed to this rule so just know that access to the venue even on the day of, is very limited. 6.\tWOTW requires the bride and groom to bring home all reception decor the same night as the wedding.7.\tThe venue state that it fits (I believe 250) guests – but many of their weddings are smaller, so just make sure that if you go look at it, you ask how many people the room is set up for when you see it. They were super accommodating about room setup with me, but I think it’s important to ask / know up front (I made the mistake of assuming the room was set up for the max # of guests when I first booked it).Ultimately I had a beautiful, fun, wedding day at WOTW that people are raving about, and I think they will be for years to come. It really is a beautiful venue, but I think there is room for improvement on the logistical side of things that would make things go more smoothly for future brides and grooms. Keep the above points in mind if you book there, and I’m sure you will have a beautiful and special wedding day just as my husband and I did.

Windows on the Water was a great place to get married!! The views alone sold us on the venue, but the team over at Windows on the Water made our day the best it could be. Communication leading up to the big day was great, Tracy and Brandon were on top of everything. On the day of, the bridal assistant Lady was so much help. Everything and anything we needed she took care of. We didn't have to think about anything but to enjoy ourselves. Right after the ceremony we were brought up to the bridal suite to enjoy a little bit of alone time and all of the food that was being served at the cocktail hour was brought to us. Overall the experience couldn't have been better, we had a great time and so did our guests!!

Windows on the Water was the definition of my dream wedding. The entire experience was so memorable, stress-fun, and fun for my husband and I, our families and friends. Our guests were amazed at the view of the beach, the cocktail hour area, and of course the breathtaking reception area. We had the opportunity to take pictures on beach and our guests had a beautiful view the entire night. The food was delicious and plenty of it, everything from the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner. There was such a wide range of food options for our guests to enjoy, and every new item was more delicious than the previous dish.I can't speak enough praise about the staff of Windows. They were extremely helpful and Tracy was always available to answer any questions. On the day of our wedding Brandon and LeKenta were fantastic, from the moment we walked into the door, every need of ours was taken care of. From making sure that my husband and I had a few private moments to eat and reflect, ensuring a natural flow of the evening from cocktails through dessert, to providing friendly and courteous service, to even packing up everything we had to take home at the end of the night, We had many guests tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, many thanks to Windows on the Water. Windows on the Water was the definition of my dream wedding. The entire experience was so memorable, stress-fun, and fun for my husband and I, our families and friends. Our guests were amazed at the view of the beach, the cocktail hour area, and of course the breathtaking reception area. We had the opportunity to take pictures on beach and our guests had a beautiful view the entire night. The food was delicious and plenty of it, everything from the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner. There was such a wide range of food options for our guests to enjoy, and every new item was more delicious than the previous dish.I can't speak enough praise about the staff of Windows. They were extremely helpful and Tracy was always available to answer any questions. On the day of our wedding Brandon and LeKenta were fantastic, from the moment we walked into the door, every need of ours was taken care of. From making sure that my husband and I had a few private moments to eat and reflect, ensuring a natural flow of the evening from cocktails through dessert, to providing friendly and courteous service, to even packing up everything we had to take home at the end of the night, We had many guests tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, many thanks to Windows on the Water. What a gorgeous venue! My wife and I couldn't be happier with our wedding day. We both wish we could go back and re-live the day again and then go back again as a guest. Tracy and her team are phenomenal! There aren't enough adjectives to describe how happy we were with the services they provided. They made us feel comfortable and eased all of our concerns. My August 20th wedding at WOW was the best-day-ever!!!!!!!! This was the only venue we looked at and I have NO regrets. Our adventure started with Larry and we were so bummed when we found out he was leaving 2 months prior to our wedding. Tracy stepped right in and fulfilled all the promises Larry had made to us. Brandon and Lakenta were so attentive, kind, and a joy to be around all night.. they made sure were well-fed and 100 percent happy all night! I wish I could repeat this night again!

Truly magical and spectacular. Windows on the Water was way above and beyond our expectations ! We could not be happier with our wedding this past Sunday (08.27.17). It was the wedding of our dreams and of a lifetime. All our guests were 110% satisfied. The staff was outstanding. All started out with Larry, 2 years ago and was seamlessly planned out with the new director, Tracy. No hiccups or bumps in the road. She was phenomenal. Brandon (matire d') and Lakenta aka Lady (bridal attendant) were also phenomenal and fantastic. They were both so energetic, full of life, paid close attention to detail and made the whole day fly by so smooth. Not a single thing to complain about. They set up the room perfectly and even added touches to make sure that it was the very best. They even took photos in our photo booth that we will always cherish for a lifetime. By far the best wedding, EVER !!! The food was outstanding. Many compliments from our guests. Especially the cocktail appetizers we chose which were all delicious and presented with a true chefs expertise. Our wedding was flawless. Not a single thing I would change. Highly recommend WOTW and their staff. They are truly doing something right. They know EXACTLY what they are doing. Windows on the Water is a phenomenal wedding venue. This place is perfect and anyone who would like a beach wedding should look no further. My bride and I had our reception here October 22nd 2016. The location is fantastic – wide open beach view and even some views of the river on the other side are also visible from the ballroom. The entire place feels like it could be a big beach house. The entire staff is friendly and professional and they really think of everything and we simply could not have had a better time on our wedding day. Every little thing was well thought out, and all my little wedding pet peeves from past weddings I attended as a guest were already thought of – for ex, the amount of seats at the cocktail hour or the bride/groom actually having time to enjoy their dinner. Everything was timed out perfectly thanks to the amazing staff and especially Cheryl and Larry. Cheryl was great throughout the entire process, and was comforting, understanding, and attended to anything we asked. Larry is simply the man. He is no nonsense and funny but trust Larry. This guy with all his experience and past knowledge was helpful from the first day we entered the property. He offered is advice on so much, from the hotel accommodations, transportation, and food and because of him we had a perfectly seamless wedding day. He thought of it all, from the amount of space between guests at a table to the length of time it took to get back to the hotel after the wedding. He was a huge asset and happy to call him a friend. Food is very important to me and my family and all my guests loved everything. We could not be happier with Windows on the Water.

Honestly Tracy and Brandon were beyond amazing and helped make our wedding day amazing. Tracy is so sweet and we were so lucky that she came on board in time for our wedding. Every concern, every question, everything we needed Tracy helped with was just so pleasant like there's not enough words to say how grateful my (now) husband and I are to have had Tracy and Brandon to be there for our wedding day, Windows On the Water is definetly on the pricier side, but it is the only venue we looked at who had such as good of an inside option incase it rained than an outside option. It happened to rain on our wedding day but everyone said you sill had the feeling of being outside since all of the windows were opened and you had a perfect view of the beach. Worth every penny! The food was amazing and honestly Brandon and Tracy were just fantastic to work with. Thank you!

This place is nothing short of amazing and will recommend this venue to any couple looking to have the most perfect beach wedding. Brandon and Lakenta were super helpful and took care of everything so you did not need to worry about the tiny details on your big day. They were very efficient and made sure everything ran smoothly. Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day so we had to do the inside option which was still beautiful with all the garage doors/windows open. The venue is clean and elegantly beautiful, from the gazebo, to the cocktail hour room to the reception hall. And I do not think my guests will stop raving about the food anytime soon. It was DELICIOUS. My guests also highly rated their experience here saying that it was the \"best wedding to date\". Every little detail about this place was perfect and I highly recommend this venue.

The only thing this venue has going well is the view and the beautiful ballroom. We met for a tour and a very unprofessional man asked where else we had looked, then continuously made negative comments about those places. They do not want to give you the time of day if you can't afford (or they think you can't) afford their ridiculous prices. The man took a half hour to meet us and it was a huge waste of time. Very disappointing because it is so beautiful.

We initially began looking into wedding venues in January 2016 with the intention of finding a venue near water (ocean, lake, etc). It has been a dream of mine to get married on the beach but we still wanted to be able to have a formal reception. We had never heard of Windows on the Water prior to using the venue concierge service through The Knot. Windows on the Water was a recommended venue based upon our desired location and details. We worked with Larry throughout the planning process; he is AMAZING! Not only is Larry an absolute genius at what he does but he also has a great personality. Every phone call or meeting we had with him felt like we were family. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our maitre d was Cheryl and she was fantastic. Anything and everything we needed was handled with poise and perfection. She made sure everything was even better than we could have imagined for both the ceremony and reception. Our bridal attendant Ava was extremely nice and helpful as well. The food was absolutely delicious! Two months later, our family and friends are still ranting and raving over how great everything was. All of the staff encountered throughout the night were top notch personnel. Our wedding day was perfect from the weather to every detail of the ceremony and reception thanks to Windows on the Water and their staff. Our only complaint is that the night had to end. We are beyond thrilled with our decision to have our ceremony and reception at Windows on the Water. We hope to be able to attend another event here in the future!Jill and Pat

Every phone call or meeting we had with him felt like we were family. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our maitre d was Cheryl and she was fantastic. Anything and everything we needed was handled with poise and perfection. She made sure everything was even better than we could have imagined for both the ceremony and reception. Our bridal attendant Ava was extremely nice and helpful as well. The food was absolutely delicious! Two months later, our family and friends are still ranting and raving over how great everything was. All of the staff encountered throughout the night were top notch personnel. Our wedding day was perfect from the weather to every detail of the ceremony and reception thanks to Windows on the Water and their staff. Our only complaint is that the night had to end. We are beyond thrilled with our decision to have our ceremony and reception at Windows on the Water. We hope to be able to attend another event here in the future!Jill and Pat

My husband and I got married at Windows on the Water on October 15th. Words cannot even begin to explain the AMAZING experience we had! First off you cannot beat the BEAUTIFUL views that the venue has of the ocean. Then there is the wonderful staff that you get to work with. Larry and Cheryl were such a pleasure to get to know. From day one Larry made us feel like family and provided us with great advice, from his years of experience, through out the planning process. Cheryl did a fantastic job making sure that our day ran smoothly. People afterwards told us how calm my husband and I looked on our wedding day and that was all thanks to Cheryl. On top of that Cheryl’s staff was so sweet and polite. They were constantly asking if we need anything or if they could get us a drink from the bar. Unlike many of our friends who have been married and say they didn’t get to eat or enjoy their food. This was not the case for us. We were able to have all of the delicious food that we picked out for our wedding, from the cocktail hour food, to a taste of all three entrees. The filet was one of the best filets I have had. So many of our friends and family have said that our wedding was one of the best weddings they have been too. I would not have changed one thing about my wedding and most of that is due to my wonderful experience at Windows on the Water. Larry (the director of catering) could not have been more helpful and accommodating to me and my family. He worked very hard to make sure we were happy and helped us plan the day perfectly. He also kept us on track and organized which is definitely a huge challenge with my family! Everything turned out so amazing even though it was all of our first times planning an Indian wedding and we could not be happier !!:) \tThe party itself from cocktail hour to the final song was absolutely PERFECT! Our guests were blown away by the gorgeous view from the ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the patio and the view from the roof deck. It really felt like we were having a destination wedding in NJ. The food was also exceptional- We had the pleasure of meeting the chef during one of our meetings with Larry and you can tell right away that he takes a lot of pride in the food he serves. My husband and I were so impressed and happy with the food and so were all our guests! \tCheryl (the Maitre D) is phenomenal! She was so attentive to me and my husband throughout the night and was ready with everything we needed before we even asked for it! She and the staff ran things so professionally and smoothly with exceptional service to all our guests. \tI actually never planned on getting married at the beach but this venue is just so breathtaking I booked my wedding date a few days after visiting it! I might have visited every venue in NJ/ NY, and PA and I am so incredibly happy I decided to get married at Windows on the Water! It was the BEST day ever :)

Windows on the Water was the absolute perfect venue for my wedding! I couldn't have asked for a prettier setting or a better staff to work with. The setting was elegant; the beach location was gorgeous, and the food was wonderful. I still have people from the wedding commenting on how amazing everything was. What can I say Windows on the Water is first class in the venue, food and staff. I am the father of the bride and helped pay for this event and I can truly say I feel I got more than my monies worth. From the start you are treated like a vip by Larry, the director of catering. He has good advice and uses humor to ease the planning and eventually the event itself. When you see the director of catering helping his staff you know they really care about what they are giving you. Everyone who attended remarked about the great food at the cocktail hour. And the food at the reception was superb. We had the steak and lobster and chicken and everyone who had any of these raved about it. And the service was great. The maitre d' Cheryl was was on top of everything to make sure everyone was served well and happy with her staff. She catered not just to the bride and groom but anyone else who needed something. I could not have been more pleased with her efforts to make sure everyone was having a good time. A special thanks to Danielle who was the bridal attendant. She calmed my daughter before we came down the stairs to where the ceremony was to be performed. I thought that she was really someone who cares and wanted to make this a special day. In fact all the staff seemed to want to make this a special day. The event on the beach was beautiful even though it started to drizzle as the ceremony started. As it came down a little harder the bridal party and close relative went into the gazebo with the bride and groom. Everyone else went into the upstairs where they could watch and stay dry assisted by the staff with umbrellas. It was a very intimate scene in the gazebo I could not have been happier for my daughter and son-in-law. A great job Windows on the Water. Thanks for making this a special day for my daughter.

I have so much love for this place and the staff. We had our wedding at Windows on the Water this past Saturday and it was truly a spectacular event. The only thing I really really wanted for our wedding was to get married on the beach. When we saw WOW we immediately fell in love. We continued looking at other venues to be sure, but our hearts kept going back to WOW. Little did we know it would start to rain during our ceremony, but I still got my beach wedding! Even with the rain, the setting is gorgeous. When the sun came back out after the ceremony, people really enjoyed being able to go out on the deck and take in the view. And the ballroom-- so luxurious! Larry the Sales Director worked with us every step of the way in planning our big day and his advice was invaluable. He has a ton of experience and knows what he is doing. Trust him! He's also fun, outgoing, and has so many stories to tell. We loved him so much we wanted him to join us as a wedding guest! Cherly the maitre de was just amazing! I had a million and one questions leading up to the big day and she answered them all promptly. And she made the day run so smoothly. I don't know what I would have done without her there directing us every step of the way. She even made sure we sat down and took the time to enjoy our meal! And the food was phenomenal. So many of our guests commented on how good their meal was. Those who ordered the lobster said it was the best they have ever had! Overall, it was a lovely day and we are so grateful to everyone at Windows for all their hardwork and kindness. They made it the best day and we only wish we could do it all over again-- it went too fast!

We've been told over and over our wedding was one of THE BEST weddings ever. I don't even know where to begin .... It's been three weeks and we still can't believe our wedding is over. Windows on the Water is more than just a venue - the service and attention Kristian and I received while planning our wedding exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding because of Larry and Cheryl. Larry guided us in so many details of our planning to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. Cheryl is absolutely amazing as well, there is NO ONE else who could have run our wedding as smoothly as she did. Kristian and I were able to enjoy our cocktail hour and reception because of her and her attendants. Our guests are still talking about our venue - people who look at pictures do not believe this was in New Jersey! We looked at so many venues up and down the coast of NJ for close to a year and NOTHING compared to Windows on the Water. Kristian and I are hoping to get invited to a wedding here soon!

Larry, Cheryl and the whole Windows on the Water team were fantastic! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, we got so many compliments!Cheryl and the bridal attendants made sure everything went seamlessly. I was happy to have someone telling me exactly what comes next and where I needed to be. Service was absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing! Another highlight is that the team made sure that we actually got a chance to eat. We took photos before, which helped, but they insist that the newlywed couple take some time in the bridal suite to eat the food from cocktail hour. At dinner, they ask the couple to sit down and bring a bit of everything from the menu- I was actually full at my own wedding which I’ve been told is very rare. I can’t thank Windows enough for everything- the beauty of the place really speaks for itself so I’m beyond happy that we got fantastic service throughout the entire process as well. Can’t recommend enough!

I'm a little late in posting :) My husband and I got married October 17, 2016 and we had our wedding ceremony and reception at Windows on the Water. Our ceremony was outside on the beach and it ended up being a gorgeous day! A little chilly, but the sunset was to die for. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and looking back we would not have changed a single thing. Cheryl was incredible at setting everything up and managing the day-of event details...I really did not have to worry about a thing. I am a huge foodie, so food was particularly important to me and Windows on the Water did not disappoint. Took a little prodding to get a tasting together, but I was very pleased. Our guests still talk about the food and our wedding in general. Guests have told us we had the best wedding they had ever been to! Overall, couldn't have been happier with the way our wedding day went, and Windows on the Water was the perfect choice for a sophisticated beachy wedding!

My wife and I got married June 12th and can't say enough positive things about Windows. We looked at another beach venue and once we stepped on site, she knew it was the place. Larry and Cheryl were outstanding and Cheryl made the entire day smooth and we didn't need to think about a thing that day. She even went above and beyond to help decorate our cake when it came not decorated. The food was fantastic, especially our lobster tail dinner. Both our parents and us have gotten tons of texts and comments of praise of our wedding. If you're thinking about having a summer, beachside wedding, this is the only place to consider.
