For those who want a breath of fresh air, the open-air veranda presents a perfect break from an evening of mingling. Windows on Washington was the perfect location for our wedding reception. We are constantly receiving compliments from our friends and family about the venue, bar, food, etc. Having booked a year out from the event date, we always felt like a priority to WOW and can only say wonderful things about the transparency, communication and organization that made our planning process so smooth. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly and we know that WOW was a huge reason for this. Nothing is better than walking into a reception venue and already having everything taken care of. It was a huge stress reliever and led to a seamless night!

Windows on Washington was the perfect location for our wedding reception. We are constantly receiving compliments from our friends and family about the venue, bar, food, etc. Having booked a year out from the event date, we always felt like a priority to WOW and can only say wonderful things about the transparency, communication and organization that made our planning process so smooth. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly and we know that WOW was a huge reason for this. Nothing is better than walking into a reception venue and already having everything taken care of. It was a huge stress reliever and led to a seamless night!

Beautiful space, unfortunately the owner/manager is a nightmare to work with. After 3 weeks of being mis-led and ignored via email and many phone calls to try to get correct pricing we are back to square one to find a wedding venue.

Molly and Emily were excellent during the planning process and the bartenders during the night were amazing!The three stars is for after the fact. The lack of humility and professionalism from management is astounding. I sent an email noting things that weren’t huge issues, but thought Windows should know to better their processes in the future. Instead of acknowledging mistakes and work to understand frustrations, they chose to blame my guests and get defensive in emails. Things I wish I had known: - if anything is left - including an expensive champagne flute the groom used- that are noted to the party “captain” at the end of the night, don’t expect to get them back. - keep an eye on your dessert, they WONT automatically replenish it like they state during the planning process.

WOW was a perfect choice for our day! I loved how I was able to have the ceremony and reception all in one space in such a fun atmosphere. The venue has so many amazing spots to take some great photos. Our wedding was on a Saturday, and with no event the night before, we were able to set up some of our own decorations the day before, which was an amazing relief! Emily was extremely responsive and answered any and all of our questions, which was so helpful when I did not feel like I knew what I was doing when planning a wedding!We really enjoyed their package options that allowed you to choose food, decorations, and bar options. Their packages are a great deal, but purchasing items (decorations, food, etc.) \"a la carte\" quickly adds up, and it felt as if some information was not clearly communicated until the end, notably in terms of the hors d'oeuvres - the proposals always included the estimated guest count and listed numbers of items that were guest-count dependent. It was not until our final proposal that we saw that our hors d'oeuvres were one per person. Thankfully, this was enough food, but it was a bit disappointing to feel slightly blindsided. If we would have known to ask, I have no doubt the information would have been shared with us. But with other items in the proposal listing out the number of each item, this one felt \"hidden.\"It also was disappointing there was no fridge to put our cake in as WOW cannot store any outside food in their fridges. We only had a small one-tier cake, so we were able to keep it in cooler bags until it was time for the WOW staff to cut, but that was a bit cumbersome to manage on the day of the wedding.WOW held a Decor Show that had decorations on display and had food and drinks available for tasting. You then have the option to get these items at a reduced price. It's still a bit pricey in my opinion, but I also didn't have other points of comparison for the industry. There is not a bridal suite, which is one thing I did wish I had. There is an option to purchase some curtains to set up a makeshift area in the corner, but no private space.The staff was INCREDIBLE and so accommodating.Definitely wouldn't have changed a thing about our day, but I would have liked to know some of things up front. WOW was one of the best choices we made for our day!

From the beginning, working with anyone at WOW has been absolutely amazing. We booked our wedding with them 2 years ago and it's been clear and professional communication from the beginning. Emily always took the time to answer any questions we had big or small, and to make sure any information we needed was given to us right away. Upon wedding week, we worked with different staff members since Emily was out of town and they were all fantastic to work with. Tom made sure pieces of decor that were missing from our floor on set up day were put there right away and answered any last minute questions we had as the big day approached. Finally, Mike on wedding day made sure to be there for any and everything we needed. At one point some drama happened and I ended up on the balcony in tears and he brought out a napkin and water for me and told me to get back on that dance floor and enjoy my night. All I can say is work with WOW. They were professional, polite, fun, and helped make the wedding of our dreams happen within our budget.

We had our wedding at W.O.W. last weekend with a guest count just shy of 200. The venue allowed for plenty of space to accommodate our guest count and we had a huge dance floor. Everyone loved the indoor/outdoor space, as well as the location/downtown feel. It was really beautiful. The food was ok. Our specialty dish (Lomo Saltado) was better than their usual offered dishes. My husband and I's meal was lukewarm but others had hot food. The chicken was dry/overcooked, but otherwise everything was good. Emily was the BEST when it came to wedding planning. She was easy to work with, prompt at responding and extremely professional. I found her easy to work with and really enjoyed her guidance throughout the planning process.

I highly recommend working with Windows on Washington. Emily was phenomenal and made the process easy and seamless. Additionally, the space is gorgeous and so naturally beautiful. As weddings seem to be getting more and more expensive, this venue was a breath of fresh air - it was affordable and beautiful, but it didn't consume our entire budget. The 8th floor has the most gorgeous vautled ceilings, too!

The staff was great, our planner, Emily, was super helpful in every aspect, and we have been receiving compliments on the delicious food and beautiful venue ever since. As an out of state couple there was no challenge creating are dream space as Emily [event coordinator] was fantastic to work with and very accommodating with scheduling! Buyer beware. The venue is very nice and the event coordinator Emily was very nice, helpful and organized. However they do not honor the contract they make you sign. Apparently it is only a one way contract. The wording of the contract did allow for them to raise the per plate price. Which they did by 7.5%. But the contract clearly stated the service charge was to be 20% and there was no wording that this price could possibly change. But they went ahead and raised that to 22% anyway. And watch the bartenders. We had Michelob Ultra on draft and we also picked Michelob Ultra to be our one bottled beer that we got in our package. The bartenders would continuously give people draft Ultra when they specifically asked for bottled Ultra. Guessing that pushing the draft Ultra over the bottled Ultra was to WOWs favor monetarily.

We chose Windows on Washington for our wedding due to the central location in downtown STL, one-stop-shop event packages, and gorgeous loft aesthetic that doesn't really need much décor. We also used preferred vendors for cake/flowers/DJ, and everything went SO smoothly. We were able to fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics because we knew that the Windows and vendor team had things totally under control and ready for us. The food, drinks, and staff for our wedding were excellent! Our guests had a fabulous time and were very complimentary of the venue and dinner. Our event coordinator Emily was a pleasure to work with and followed up with us on a regular basis to keep everyone in the loop. We are so happy we chose Windows on Washington and would highly recommend to any couple looking for a (nearly) stress-free wedding experience!

We got married at Windows a few weeks ago! Everything was absolutely perfect! Emily was super easy to work with and made sure we got everything we wanted. The food was excellent and the bar tenders knew guests drinks before they asked for one. We absolutely loved the staff and how easy they were to work with. We got married at Windows a few weeks ago! Everything was absolutely perfect! Emily was super easy to work with and made sure we got everything we wanted. The food was excellent and the bar tenders knew guests drinks before they asked for one. We absolutely loved the staff and how easy they were to work with. Everything ran smoothly and had no issues that we were aware of which is what we wanted.Emily and Windows, thank you so much for all you did to make our night so memorable and wonderful!

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! This was the perfect venue for both our ceremony and reception. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! This was the perfect venue for both our ceremony and reception. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The in house catering company food was very good, however 6 months before the wedding they raised the food/beverage prices but 7.5% (due to inflation) so we were not able to get the same tier packaged we had originally planned. We are so glad that we went with Windows on Washington for our ceremony and reception. All of our food, drinks, and a large part of our decorations were included in what we paid for. It was also so nice that everything was set up and ready to go, so when we came in to add my personal touches, it took no time at all. We worked with Emily the whole time, and she was super helpful and was great at responding to emails and questions quickly. We were able to attend a decor event and receive discounts on some decor to add to our big day, and we had tastings and final detail meetings right there at the venue. It made for a very easy planning process so I felt no need to hire a wedding planner. The wait staff and bartenders were very friendly and professional and made sure my guests had what they needed. The venue even includes a complimentary shuttle to downtown hotels after the wedding so out of town guests didn't even have to drive. This is a great venue to go with if you want beautiful views of downtown, an all-inclusive venue, a great staff to work with, and a stress-free wedding planning experience!

For years I said \"when I get married I want to have my reception at Windows On Washington!\" Luckily my husband had the same thoughts in mind. The venue is a no brainer and matched our 1920s Modern Harlem Renaissance theme perfectly, the moment you walk in you're just in awe. The packages are all inclusive, includes a champagne greeting, a parking lot and shuttle for guests. Every chance we got to view our floor we did. Our guests fell in love with the space as well, the food, open bar, and the service was amazing!!! Our wedding reception was magical. Special shout out to Emily who answered every question we had and made the process as seamless as possible :-) We are already saying for our 10 year we'll be back !!

They have tons of decor you can rent (park high makes it easy) and in different styles— we chose the gold & white decor that looked beautiful with our pink and black wedding party attire and other venue accessories. It was all absolutely perfect - glam and classy - exactly what we were going for. The views of STL city in the background and the arch were a perfect backdrop in our reception photos. The exposed brick and floor to ceiling windows added that STL city vibe. We had our wedding in the 7th floor. The open bar and lovely served dinner was perfect at this venue! We and Our guests loved both of the balconies as well -perfect photo spot with the city backdrop. We are so happy we chose this as our wedding venue. Everyone is so helpful there- Emily was always accommodating with all of our questions and was always responsive and easy to work with. We loved our wedding day!

Emily was fantastic to work with and as flexible as possible throughout the entire planning process while dealing with covid related issues. Their selection for colors / themes is great. Neither my husband nor I prioritized these details, so skipping the a-la-carte shop & rent process was AWESOME. (If you have a very particular vision in mind for your décor, keep that in mind).-Location!: WOW is located in a great spot, is close to so many hotels, and has their late-night shuttle.-Customer service: We worked with Emily, who was 1) incredibly prompt in answering emails & helping us plan; 2) very transparent about pricing / feasibility 3) awesome at helping us make decisions and guiding us through some parts of the process.-WOW Factor: The building and its décor are fabulous. The ONLY \"ehh\" factor for us has to do with the fact that we held our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we didn't feel that WOW was 100% committed to guest safety; while they mandated masks in the lobby, elevator, and non-reception parts of the venue, and while their staff were all masked, they didn't mandate that guests wear masks while dancing / congregating. Okay. That's fine. There are probably a lot of bridezillas who would push back against that. The thing that got me is that our ceremony venue asked for a list of guests names & phone numbers to have a proactive contact-tracing list available, which was zero hassle for us and a great move. WOW, on the other hand, seemed unfamiliar with the contact tracing process or the need to conduct contact tracing in the event that our reception caused COVID spread. When we asked our coordinator if we'd be notified if the staff at our event had tested positive after-the-fact, she responded along the lines of, \"Umm, no, not really, if you got sick at a restaurant, would you call the restaurant and tell them?\" If \"got sick\" is Covid and it ocurred in 2020, then, yes, I definitely would! The caveat to this point is that (hopefully) Covid-19 will not be thwarting safe social gatherings forever, so this comment is somewhat dated.

I know those are the initials in your establishment’s name (Windows on Washington), but that is exactly how my husband, daughter and I felt from the minute we walked in your doors 10 months ago when we first visited your venue. We visited several venues over one weekend, looking for the perfect spot for our daughter’s wedding and reception, and instantly knew this was the one.The Sales staff we dealt with from day one was very professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. The packet provided to us with the package options and pricing were gone through in great detail so there was no question what the final cost was going to be for each package offered.When the wedding day came, and we walked into the room, it was perfect! Our Event Captain, Tom, made sure that everything kept moving as needed throughout the night, which was very much appreciated as you tend to lose track of time. The food was excellent! People were calling me days after raving about the Baked Chicken Quattro Formaggi. Best chicken I’ve ever had!!!We wanted the perfect evening for our daughter, her husband, family and friends to celebrate this new life together and you did not disappoint. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for a very memorable evening.

I am in the process of planning a reception at windows on Washington now and have been affected by COVID and have to change my date due to restrictions on how large gatherings can currently be and my wedding involving 200 guests. We were able to speak with the manager and come up with an acceptable charge to switch our date and I am looking forward to next year when that date can happen!

I don't even know where to start! We were married on 3/14, right before the STL gathering ban and stay at home order. Our rep, Emily W, was the most detailed, organized, and helpful person we could have ever asked for. She never got frustrated (at least from what I could tell!) with the 1,000 emails I've sent her since we booked with the venue. She was incredibly responsive and always found answers for the questions I had. The food was incredible, staff was friendly and prompt, and the decorations provided by the venue were absolutely top notch. Every penny was totally worth it. I couldn't believe it was my own wedding when I walked in because it was just so beautiful. The bar was fast, there was never a line, and the catering staff had tables cleared so quickly. It could not have gone better. Guests had such a great time checking out downtown from the balconies and even the local family members loved getting the chance to have a \"night out downtown.\" This is a world class venue and they know what they're doing!

Completely Horrible!!!!!!!!On all aspects... Let's just start with what I remember off the top of my head.Staff rude as all get up!! The coordinator who was handling our wedding went out of town leaving a staff who didn't have a clue to handle my wedding. Which made the dinner portion off. I had to tell them when to being food & set up cake after we cut it. Not just that, as seen in the pictures a small portion of the cake was served out of a cake made for a hundred and fifty people. We only got the top to take home. Wow stated we won chocolate covered strawberries for our guest. We received a tray of berries after our guest started to clear out which was also at the time we got cake.The coordinator was unreachable for more than 80% of the time. The food was cold and had no seasoning or flavor. and we specifically told them that we have food allergies for tomatoes and for mushrooms so do not serve them to the wedding party. Which was served anyway. One of our bridesmaids had a allergic reaction. The venue didn't even have a EpiPen. So we couldn't continue with our speech or anything.We pay for open bar they didn't have brown liquor and only had one type of whiskey.All around nightmare!!!!I promise all your paying $6000+ for is the space.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.First review!!! As of right Now, I feel like every other PERSON renting this very lovely Establishment. As for the look & \"Wow\" of the venue & location exceptional!! Yet, the amount of service so far ... Smh Not worth the $$... My wedding is less than a Month away & I'm still being hit with new pricing for items that originally had been apart of the \"Special\" Not to mention the change of coordinator throughout planning my event. Let's just say I'll be back with an Update.. so far I'm not happy AT ALL...#NotAHappyBRIDE#YELPREVIEWCOMINGSOON

We had such a great experience having our wedding at WOW, on the 7th floor! We had both our ceremony and the reception on the same floor, with about 200 guests attending. In the year that we worked with WOW staff leading up to the wedding, we did see a couple of personnel changes early on, but for the last several months we worked with Emily and she was fantastic! They worked with us to make sure we had planned out every detail and that we felt comfortable going in to the wedding day. We did have a few hiccups with the set up when we arrived an hour and a half before the ceremony (there were not enough chairs set up in the ceremony space), but we let the event captain know and he quickly fixed the problem. The staff was attentive to us throughout the entire evening, making sure we had everything we need. Plus, the space is absolutely beautiful! It's hard to envision what it will look like at night when you typically only visit during the day prior to the wedding, but it is darling. I highly suggest adding 3 sections of garden lights over the dance floor and head table - it just really adds to the glow of the room! Oh, and the food was SO GOOD! I had heard good reviews about it, but I was blown away when we did our food tasting, and if anything, the four cheese chicken entree we chose was even better the night of the wedding. Everyone talked about how good it was. I can't tell you how many people came up to me throughout the night and told me this was the most beautiful wedding venue they'd ever seen. We certainly loved it!

WOW was the simplest wedding decision we had to make. We visited many venues, and nothing compared to the beauty and value of WOW. The open, industrial look with exposed brick and pipe was everything we wanted, plus the stunning downtown views. You cannot beat the value with the packages including space, food, beverages, tables, chairs, linens, and decor. Parking was simple and safe for our guests. Everything was perfect the night of our wedding. Emily, our Coordinator, was marvelous. I highly recommend this fantastic venue!

I searched for months to find a venue that was efficient and effective for our once in a lifetime party. Spreadsheets were involved... Windows on Washington has been a staple in STL for quite some time and I was thrilled to learn that the price tag was reasonable and literally everything we needed was included! An all inclusive package is hard to come by especially when they throw in garden lights and japanese lanterns into the mixture of decor choices. The pre-party champagne and champagne toast were also included in our package and the andes mint departure made me and my grandmother swoon. The 7th floor bar had a classic downtown STL look with a dark wood that contrasted beautifully with the light wood floors and tall glass windows. I love wood flooring and the moment I walked into the loft style venue it took my breathe away. The lighted trees and votives in the window gave our wedding a special ambiance that made the night feel like a fairytale. I was able to coordinate and come in the afternoon before to set up the extra decor we had planned out and was even given a layout so we could really get into the planning. Our coordinator switched a few times but actually it is true what they say it will all work it out in the end because when I called to see what was up Emily reassured me that it would all be okay and she immediately updated me on the ongoings of who would be our coordinator. This brings me to Melissa! Oh what a lovely surprise to work with such a patient, organized, compassionate human being! She answered all of my families zany questions, dealt with some tense moments between me and my mom, and she pulled out a protractor during the table layout planning meeting! This woman knows how to plan and she was gracious enough to make so many revisions to our proposal and email the updated one back the same day or the very next day. I was relieved to know that someone who can organize was coordinating my event! The food was delicious and I highly recommend the gouda cheese puff and toasted raviolis were divine! The salad, prime rib, roasted veggies and mashed potatoes put an extra oomph on the evening. Our donut table was fun and actually very easy to arrange as we were able to plate the donuts ourselves and the team at Windows set them out for us and even refilled them the whole night. The balconies on either end was an addition I could not live without as we have some smokers in our family and one balcony was a smoking section and the other was just to gaze out into the city where the Arch is peeking up over some of the oldest buildings in STL. Our event captain, Steve, made sure that my husband and I were as happy as we could be and he was so polite and ensured we had enough food and drinks the whole evening! We partied it up in the middle of downtown St. Louis in a venue that made me feel like we were exactly in the heart of the city that I love the most. We were gifted a bottle of champagne by the wonderful Windows on Washington team and we cannot thank them enough for their support!

I searched for months to find a venue that was efficient and effective for our once in a lifetime party. Spreadsheets were involved... Windows on Washington has been a staple in STL for quite some time and I was thrilled to learn that the price tag was reasonable and literally everything we needed was included! An all inclusive package is hard to come by especially when they throw in garden lights and japanese lanterns into the mixture of decor choices. The pre-party champagne and champagne toast were also included in our package and the andes mint departure made me and my grandmother swoon. The 7th floor bar had a classic downtown STL look with a dark wood that contrasted beautifully with the light wood floors and tall glass windows. I love wood flooring and the moment I walked into the loft style venue it took my breathe away. The lighted trees and votives in the window gave our wedding a special ambiance that made the night feel like a fairytale. I was able to coordinate and come in the afternoon before to set up the extra decor we had planned out and was even given a layout so we could really get into the planning. Our coordinator switched a few times but actually it is true what they say it will all work it out in the end because when I called to see what was up Emily reassured me that it would all be okay and she immediately updated me on the ongoings of who would be our coordinator. We could not have been happier with Windows on Washington as our wedding reception venue. Such a beautiful space in a great location. It turns out they were replaced with someone else, and we found out because we emailed them and an email came back saying \"this email address no longer exists\". This was fine, as turnover is bound to happen at any company. This same situation then happened once more less than a month before the wedding reception. Easily the worst mistake made by Windows, however, was when they contacted us 4 months before our wedding day and told us that they double booked our reservation for our wedding reception. They asked us to reschedule our wedding day and gave us dates that they had available. Seeing as we had already booked all other vendors for that day (ceremony, officiant, photographer, DJ, flowers, lodging, transportation, catering, etc.), there was no way we could move all these vendors or receive all our payments back from these vendors. In addition, they stated they were not willing to pay for the inconvenience to reschedule different vendors for a different reception date. We immediately began scrambling to find another venue because it would have been incredibly ignorant to lose all of our vendor deposits and pay for all new vendors because of an error on WoW's part. Two days later after the original call, they said they would actually honor our contract they signed with us, without explanation. Honestly, this kind of practice is entirely unprofessional and completely inexcusable. Aside from the lack of communication due to changing our coordinator 3 times and trying to leave us without a venue on very short notice, the reception itself was excellent. The food came out in a timely fashion and was hot and delicious. They worked well with our vendors and everything went smoothly that night. We have only praise for the experience itself. We do not know if we would recommend WoW to a friend or not. Poor business practices for months leading up to the event severely mar an otherwise flawless night. Maybe going forward, add your own addendum to the contract to ensure you are not without compensation when they try to reschedule your reception with very little notice.

I'm really happy we chose Windows as our reception venue. The room is large and expansive yet intimate at the same time. The food was outstanding, the service level extraordinary. Staff was friendly and our event coordinator always responded quickly to questions. We went through about three coordinators over a 13 month time period. In a business like this, turnover can be high. But, I think the event coordinators are SO good at what they do that they are easily snatched up by other places. But when one left, another stepped in without missing a beat so don't let that scare you. Our event coordinator we had for most of the planning period was outstanding. It's obvious the venue has high expectations and they only hire people who can meet them. Windows is lucky to have the event coordinator we had. She was beyond fantastic!I only have one complaint. They messed up something in our contract and didn't properly charge us an extra couple hundred for an option. It took them 10 months after we signed the contract to discover this. It was completely their error as the contract had been signed months before. They demanded the extra $ and to avoid a scene, we agreed and paid it. In the grand scheme of things it was only a little over $200 but it was the principle of the matter that bothered me most. It was their error and they had already signed the contract months before. It felt a bit like a shake down.However, the service we received exceeded expectations, which were already high. They are top notch and experts at what they do. I would have no hesitation recommending them. Just make sure the contract is correct!

After our original event planner quit, we were given a different coordinator who didn't have good communication and was quite rude. Unfortunately, that coordinator was fired and we were then given to the manager (who happens to be the owner). The owner did a decent job, however did not make an appearance at our reception that night (when he said he would be there). My grandfather had to yell at the staff because they served guests before the Bride and Groom and there was an extremely long pause between salads and the main course. It was unorganized and the staff did not care. Guests complained about how rude the bartenders were. No one boxed up our desserts at the end of the night either. I am very disappointed in this venue. It is beautiful, but horrible service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who spends a decent amount of money and gets the service we received in return.

If you want to have a wedding reception in downtown St. Louis, you must go to Windows on Washington. Their packages options are wonderful, flexible and a great value for money (no hidden fees, multiple package options, taxes and tipping included in pricing and it is all shown upfront). The venue itself is gorgeous, we were on the 7th floor and it was perfect! The staff is the best around. From our coordinator to every single server, we and our guest were treated so well. I will always look back on our big day with such fond memories and Windows on Washington played a huge part in making that possible. I cannot day enough great things about this venue and company!

Their packages options are wonderful, flexible and a great value for money (no hidden fees, multiple package options, taxes and tipping included in pricing and it is all shown upfront). The venue itself is gorgeous, we were on the 7th floor and it was perfect! The staff is the best around. From our coordinator to every single server, we and our guest were treated so well. I will always look back on our big day with such fond memories and Windows on Washington played a huge part in making that possible. I cannot day enough great things about this venue and company!

We just had our reception for our daughter's wedding there in October and everything was perfect. Emily was great to work with and helped us with ideas and suggestions but embraced our ideas as well! The parking and shuttle were wonderful as a few were concerned about the area at night. Everyone raved about the food and the room was simply beautiful. Also, you never would know there were other parties going on above or below you which was a concern. I would definitely highly recommend this venue and will use it again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you!

Don’t book here: Had many issues with windows on Washington 1. They changed 4 different coordinators on me when I’m already stressed enough with my wedding they have new people learning the ropes of their company trying to know what to do. The final girl seemed like she knew nothing2. WEDDING CRASHERS: we were told there was security. Well there wasn’t. And they say they have no security Cameras. We had over 20 presents missing and we noticed a couple that was not invited. They left when we approached them. Come to find out a friend had her wedding here and caught the STAFF stealing her presents. Now we will be in an investigation to see if it was there staff or crashers. And windows did not care to help at all 3. The staff was rude and over an hour before the event was over was smashing plates one on top of the other on fresh pieces of cake while people were dancing and would come back to eat it. 4. They threw away the cake pillars that we had to return for a deposit and when my mom asked one of the staff to get them they would not. We lost our deposit on that.5. We had party favors that were not eaten and again over an house before the event was over they threw them away. Our guest were going to take those home as a memento. Very upset that I paid A LOT of money to have my wedding here and they treated me and my wedding rudely and to this day do not care of what all went down at their venue. Would not suggest this place unless you want to be ripped off and just another money maker for them.

I am so happy we chose this venue - Windows on Washington is not just a stunning location for a wedding and reception, but we also had a fantastic WoW team behind the scenes helping to pull together the perfect night for us. Emily and Tom spared no effort in making sure we had the wedding of our dreams. For the months leading up to our big day, Emily was available and eager to answer every one of our questions no matter how trivial. They were flexible in allowing us to make our own custom arrangements throughout the floor space. The 8th floor, with higher ceilings, a beautiful bar and spanning city views, was well worth the cost. We had a wonderful decor package as well, that pulled the whole room together. And the food was wonderful! Obviously the bridal party was so busy running around to greet everyone that we barely had time to stop and eat - and yet the WoW staff was so kind and thoughtful to keep some of the passed appetizers for us at our head table. Simple touches like that are a great example of the service you can expect from Windows on Washington. The only downside is that the maximum time at the venue is 5 hours. We had an earlier ceremony time, and reception is required to start immediately following the ceremony. This meant our wedding ended a bit earlier than we would have liked, and we had to move the celebrations to an afterparty. All of our guests had a fantastic time nonetheless, so we would still absolutely recommend this venue!

WOW was the absolute PERFECT venue to get married at, and have the reception. Everyone was so helpful and were with us throughout the entire process. On our wedding day they even surprised us by giving us gold chairs for our ceremony. Everything went so smoothly.

Windows On Washington is a beautiful venue. We were on the 7th floor and worked with Jenn as our event coordinator. Jenn was so helpful throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions promptly and thoroughly, and making sure we had everything we wanted for our special day. Everything was set up just how we wanted it - my only complaint is we had booked the WOW ice cream cart, and we had to personally ask them to bring it out, as it wasn’t set up after dinner with our mini cupcakes. But all in all that was a very minimal complaint and everything was wonderful! I definitely recommend.

I can honestly say choosing Windows on Washington was one of the best choices for our ceremony and reception! I was extremely impressed by our event coordinator, Jenn Cornwall, who helped with every detail, responded quickly to all my emails, and keep everything organized. We wanted to serve something a little different in the way of food (breakfast for dinner!) and Windows was super accommodating. Not only that, but it was good food and our guests were thrilled! We also staged a waffle bar near the coffee station - what a hit. A few days before our wedding, we found out a guest would actually be able to make the event, and Jenn easily helped us squeeze that person in, even though our numbers were already firm. Lastly, the night of our wedding was perfect. Our party captain, Vincent, was super friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Immediately after our ceremony, he congratulated us and handed us both a glass of champagne. :) Windows also kindly and generously surprised us with a late night snack of pretzels and cheese! I could not have been more happy with our decision and would highly recommend Jenn Cornwall and Windows to anyone searching for a wedding venue in the St. Louis area.
