Located in Sanger, CA, Wolf Lakes Parks, Inc. is an outdoor wedding venue run by a team of dedicated staff. These enthusiastic individuals work hard to ensure that each couple’s big day is a success. The venue’s multiple event spaces and idyllic setting combined with the team’s numerous services help make wedding dreams a reality.
Bob and Harriet Wolf founded Wolf Lakes Park, Inc. in 1959 when they purchased the property. With a lot of faith and hard work, the two set about to transform the 640 acres into their dream farm. In 1971, they added the 46-acre lake, which provided water for their crops. Bob and Harriet’s son, John, and his wife Paula came up with the idea to host events on the property in 1984. With their love of gardens, the couple reworked part of the land into a place for celebrations. Today, the venue is managed by their daughter, Elyse.
Weddings at Wolf Lakes Park, Inc. can begin with a ceremony in the English Garden. This lush space blends modern design with the classic English-style garden. The terraced patios and steps offer places to view the lake while the arches and rock columns add to the garden’s romantic charms. Ceremonies can also take place at Lakeside under the pergola. For an especially memorable entrance, the couple can arrive via a boat. Receptions can then be held on the pavilion. Smaller gatherings of between 50 and 100 individuals can be held at the Feedlot. This dining patio has a rustic and welcoming design. Dressing rooms at the venue are available as well. The team also provides tables and chairs, setup and cleanup, along with dinnerware, glassware, and linens. The culinary team takes care of the dining experience to complete the event.

Veronika Specht(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-03-2019 Wolf Lakes Park made our wedding day so perfect and magical. I was slightly concerned to be the first wedding of their wedding season, but they hit the ground running and did a fantastic job. Elise and her assistant were so on top of keeping everything flowing, ensuring nobody came to me with any problems, and with getting us drinks and food at the head table. They were awesome at checking in with my husband and I, and seamless when it came to coordinating the vendors. The chef was awesome. I don’t eat much when I’m stressed, so I requested pasta for just myself (because I can always eat pasta!). They were so accommodating, and even brought me out a plate of our wedding food in addition to my delicious pasta so I could still try it (seriously, the food here was SO GOOD. I can’t even count how many complements we got from our guests about the food. We got the apricot chicken and tritip, and for appetizers got the coconut shrimp (OMG. It was worth paying extra to make that into an appetizer), their HOMEMADE cheese, and shrimp and artichoke dip. No regrets about the food whatsoever.) The best part was my mom needed to make her famous brownies for our wedding, our oven ended up falling through, and the chef and staff very kindly allowed her to make her brownies in their kitchen. They went seriously above and beyond. My only downside was I didn’t get to try our food before the wedding because they have a big open house once a year for that, and it was the weekend before our wedding and we had another wedding to go to. My parents went, raved about the food, and it was reassuring that since the food was mass produced at the open house that they would be good at mass producing food at a wedding (and they were!). I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness, experience, and awesomeness that Wolf Lakes put into our day! Reviewed on 10-09-2019
Courtney Daulton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-05-2019 Our wedding was May 31, 2019. This venue was amazing. The staff were SO helpful. They always answered all my emails and phone calls. The food was spectacular. There were some hiccups during the wedding with some decorations falling, and they took the decorations and hot glued them and fixed them without me knowing and took care of everything. It was honestly the best experience we could've asked for. Their vendor list is so helpful. Everyone was asking me who my vendors were and commenting on how awesome they were. I think the best part was that I left my shoes, purse, bouquet, and my leftover cake at the wedding venue that night on accident. The Wolf Lakes staff locked my purse up, and they put my leftovers and bouquet in the fridge so it wouldn't wilt. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the park had another event in the Feedlot. My event was Gardenside, so they are right next to each other. The people in the Feedlot were standing right on the other side of my ceremony area and talking really loudly during my ceremony. I'm not sure if the staff didn't know, but it was really annoying and it would've been nice if someone was standing out there to tell them not to talk. So my brother-in-law went out there and told them to stop talking. Other than that, it was PERFECT! Reviewed on 03-06-2019

Alexi Cabral(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-04-2017 We got married at Wolf Lakes park on April 22, 2017 in their Lakeside area. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change anything. The staff at Wolf Lakes are wedding experts and they know what they are doing! We had a little under 200 guests, and had so many of them tell us that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. I don't want to be biased, but it was the best I've been to also. ;) Our entree choices were tri-tip and stuffed chicken, and they were AMAZING. We chose golden potatoes for our starch option and OMG they are gooood. If you book your wedding with them, you get tickets to a food tasting that they host every March. This is the only opportunity to try their food free of charge, but you get to try every option that they have and there is a lot! So many guests complimented the food and said it wasn't typical \"wedding food.\" The venue is absolutely gorgeous on both the Garden side, and Lakeside. The selling point for us to pick the Lakeside was that the groomsmen have the option of riding in to the ceremony on a pontoon boat! Soooo cool! Our guests were amazed and I got to watch their entrance while I hid at the beginning of the aisle. I get to watch it over and over in our wedding video, and it is seriously cool. You get a \"day of\" coordinator, and ours was Savannah. She didn't get to be with us for our rehearsal, which initially made me nervous, but she did a great job when the day came. The bridal dressing room is spacious and comfortably fit my wedding party of 7 bridesmaids, myself, and 3 stylists. It also has 2 salon style chairs, which the stylists appreciated. I would without a doubt, chose Wolf Lakes Park again! Reviewed on 18-07-2017
madeline brouwer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-06-2017 We got married on June 10 at Wolf Lakes and we could not be happier!!! We were on the Lakeside venue. The service was great, the venue is gorgeous, and the food was probably the best \"wedding food\" we've ever had. You have to book early, because they book up fast! The staff there is very friendly. The only advice I would give to future brides is to always talk to Elise. Janice is another worker there, older, and isn't as friendly. You can tell that she has been doing this for a while so some questions that we had she acted annoyed to answer. She's just a little cold and harder to work with. Elise, the younger lady, is AMAZING and so very helpful! All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone. The food, service, accommodations, everything turned out great - my sister already wants to book it for her wedding!! Reviewed on 11-07-2017

The grounds weren't quote flowering at this time however they were still very lush with the greenery & mature trees. The structures here are perfectly kept, from the fountain area during the post-ceremony cocktail hour to the reception. Warm colored stone with gorgeous creative & handmade chandeliers above the dance floor. Don't get me started on the ceremony site... truly an \"English Garden\". The staff was elegant & professional. At first I felt even a little embarrassed with how much the wedding coordinator was attending to me, I felt bad! But then I just had to realize she was just REALLY good at her job. Elizabeth Cao(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2013 Wolf Lakes is hands down one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Central Valley. That being said I feel that because the venue is gorgeous they can get away with treating you like crap. \r First of all we feel that advertising that a \"wedding coordinator\" is included in the facility cost is a scam. The only contact we had with the coordinator was at our detailing appointment which they wouldn't allow us to do until a few weeks before the wedding. We met someone who we assumed was our coordinator however when we asked her how else we could contact her she simply said to call the office, which is impossible to get someone at times. \r The day of the reception we had a COMPLETELY NEW person who knew NOTHING about the wedding and the details that were discussed. I actually got a call in the middle of getting my hair done asking for the table assignments (which was emailed several days before, I even received a confirmation email that they had it)\rSeveral very important things were botched the day of the wedding- while the head table was served we had mentioned time and time again that the parents table and important elders table be hand served. The head server chose to serve the VIP table first rather than sever our parents and grandparents. An observant person would have known which table both fathers had stood up from to give their speeches. What's worse is that the bride’s father stood up as the other table was being served and informed the head waiter that he was serving the wrong table and that the grandparents table must be served first. He reiterated this twice and was rebuked. After what seemed like eternity the table was served except for the father of the groom. We had to inform the wait staff that he was not served. This is a terrible disgrace in Asian cultures and were embarrassed that this occurred. Not only was the table served inappropriately late the food that was served was subpar- the steak served to our parents and grandparents was so hard that they couldn't even put a knife through it. \r The candles that we put on the tables were never lit even though both I and my bridesmaids asked about them multiple times during the night. We had discussed when they should be lit at our detailing appointment. On top of it all the expensive scented candles were not returned to us. \r Few days before the wedding I had asked about the vegetarians and I received a very rude email saying it was my job to make a sign on the food table saying that vegetarian opinions are available... \r During the reception multiple ppl let both the coordinator and the waiter know that one of the bridesmaids is vegetarian. She was promised a plate of pasta would be brought to her since all they brought her was salad and vegetables \r There were no tooth picks for the messy appetizers and no forks for the cake cutting. On top of it all we were actually charged MORE for a wedding reception than if we chose to have both the ceremony and wedding there (which is more work no?) \r All in all like I said before, it is a nice place however the service could use a lot of help. If your head waiter can’t get it together and if your supposed wedding coordinator can’t complete the simple task of lighting candles you’re in trouble. Really unexpected for a place that is supposed to \"do\" weddings. (they have two wedding sites and are booked solid year around) Reviewed on 22-10-2013

Michele Noland(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2012 Wolf Lakes Park is one of the most beautiful places in the Fresno area. It's basically a venue with 2 event locations nestled on a manmade lake. My husband and I had our wedding there in their \"Garden\" location. I'll note that their service is exceptional and the people that work there are awesome. They made sure that our \"day\" was special and went smoothly. I'll also note that they don't allow outside caterers so you need to select from their menu...but the food is fantastic! Only a couple of complaints that knock them down a bit to a 4.5-star rating instead of a 5-star: 1) the bugs...eek, there are lots of 'em (I was pulling critters out of my veil and dress for days after)...they seriously need to get some mosquito abatement guys out there; and 2) the fact that you are limited to a 6-hour event that cannot go past 11pm (bad for a party that's still rockin' at 11pm)...they should give people the option of paying loads more $$ should they run over by an hour. Audrey Hansen(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-07-2012 The only complaint I have regarding my wedding is that it was really hot that day! Let me start off by saying that they do an outstanding job keeping on on the landscaping of their privately owned park, they cater their own events with THE BEST food (I'm not biased ask my guests), and they coordinate the night so you and your family can relax and have fun! They offer linens, silverware, stemware and glassware as part of your package with many napkin color options. The office is easy to contact and are more than happy to answer any question you have! They have two ceremony sites, we chose the garden side, which was intimate and felt like our own secret garden. The reception site, which was steps away, overlooked the lake. The reception site also acts as Plan B. If it rains they are ready to move the wedding under the covered pavilion. You also have the option to do a hand served dinner or buffet.Appetizers are served near the bar before dinner while the wedding party takes pictures. Wolf Lakes Brought out 2 platters of food and drinks for us while we took our pictures. I was so thankful for that since I was so busy I hadn't eaten all day! The bride and grooms dressing rooms are big and have recently been remodeled. The brides side even has an outdoor patio area overlooking the lake that helps relax the mind right before the wedding! They only accept cash or check which makes life so much easier after the wedding! Our night went smoothly and we had so much fun! The one reccomendation I have is that if you and/or guests are goign to need a cab make sure you call at least an hour before leaving. They are pretty far out there in the country and cabs take a while! If you haven't already been to Wolf Lakes make an appointment to check it out! They keep up the grounds so that everything is perfect. The only problem was the timeline got way off. I think they took too long serving everyone their food so everything got behind. I don't know if they were understaffed or what, but I was not happy. We had to pay our DJ and photographer to stay longer because we hadn't even had our first dance yet and it was time for them to leave.
