Nestled at the end of a quiet country road amid a peaceful 25 acres at the foot of the Litchfield Hills, our wooded trails, glinting ponds, sprawling lawns, and manicured gardens await. With photo opportunities at every turn, the bricked walkways lead guests through the courtyard and into the romantic garden for the outdoor ceremony. An extra wide, wrap-around porch is the perfect place to mingle, enjoying a cocktail from the outdoor bar, while the gardens are marvelous for a bit of meandering during social hour. The wide-plank timber floors of our Barn, paired with the stylishly decorated interior, create the perfect combination of elegance and warm country charm to showcase any wedding. With plentiful windows, two sets of French doors, and an abundance of natural light, spectacular views of the quaint countryside can be enjoyed while your guests dine. After the feast, the generous dance floor gives ample room for everyone to bust their best moves. Our Barn is accented by both The Perch, a private plateau featuring the newlywed's table for two, as well as a loft lounge to enjoy a bird’s eye view of things, a great spot for your photographer to capture a candid of the crowd. A climate-controlled atmosphere gives optimal comfort in any season, and our indoor ceremony setting provides a lovely ‘Plan B’ should Mother Nature bring her showers. Complimented with a private porch and courtyard garden, our quaint Cottage boasts skylight windows and soft accent lighting that provide a natural ambiance and relaxing atmosphere to prepare for a very special occasion. With a personal dressing room, full-length mirrors, hair and makeup stations, and a private powder room, the cottage is the ideal place for a day of wedding pampering. With direct access to the main barn, it provides the opportunity to pop in for a touch-up or to catch a quiet moment during the hustle and bustle of your wedding day. Both sweet and spacious, the cottage is just another special touch that keeps Wood Acres Farm standing out from the rest. With the warmth of knotty wood from floor to ceiling, the Lodge makes a perfect place for the crew to button up those final details of the big day. Space to spread out and a large private washroom keeps everyone cool, calm, and collected during the final moments before the ceremony. Knowing the day is about celebrating TWO people, we love giving our couples their separate special spaces. One of our friendly and knowledgeable event coordinators is always on site and happy to assist you, your wedding party, and your guests, as well as your chosen professional vendors. She will be an integral part of making the day of your dreams run smoothly. When our couples book, they become much more than clients. We look forward to welcoming you to the Wood Acres Farm family. I loved having my wedding at Wood Acres Farm! It has just the right mix of nature vibes and a comfortable space that fit what my husband and our families were looking for. The staff at Wood Acres was so helpful every step of the way, from postponing twice because of Covid, to answering an onslaught of questions the month before the big day, to figuring out every detail the day-of to make our special day unforgettable. The venue is just beautiful and all our guests were wowed with the facilities. I highly recommend having your wedding at Wood Acres Farm.

I am beyond pleased with the venue!! Joyce gave us a beautiful first tour! We then had been emailing back and forth with Taylor, who was extremely prompt with responding and was super helpful. Lastly, my hostess Lisa! I am so thankful to have had her help me on my wedding day. We had a huge mishap and she was quick on her feet to adjust things! She was extremely attentive and pleasant. I am so grateful! My parents were very pleased with her as well, which just goes to how great she was!!! I would HIGHLY recommend you choosing Wood Acres Farm for your event!!

Everything about our wedding at Wood Acres was perfect!! From our very first tour we knew immediately that this was the venue for us. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly and you feel like a part of the family. I couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. I even worried early on that hiring outside caterers and bar tenders would be more annoying but their preferred vendor list is extensive and Michael's Catering and Janet's Catered Cocktails were so fantastic it was like they came with the venue! It was as if Wood Acres Farm was a venue made for my husband and I. I've always dreamt of being pulled in a horse drawn carriage for my wedding and our venue made that dream come true. Our guests absolutely loved the setting, anywhere you go on the property is picture worthy. Joyce provides a list of TOP NOTCH preferred professionals which makes the planning process super easy and customizable. Lisa was our day of wedding co-ordinator and she was absolutely terrific, so sweet and helpful. We can't say enough good things about WAF, it made all our wedding dreams come true and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

This venue did not fail to impress! We had a wonderful rehearsal bonfire and hayride 2 days before wedding and then the wedding day was perfect! Weather was beautiful, grounds were beautiful, service was wonderful ftom tayler to Michaels caterers food was incredibly delicious and DJ Kurt was awesome and had us dancing all night! I cant say enough how wonderful our childrens wedding day was just perfect and so glad they chose Wood Acres Farm. Just so beautiful and the horse and buggy ride with bride coming in and wedding couple leaving after ceremony was the perfect touch! We were very happy and our guests loved the venue, food, music and ceremony.

I knew Wood Acres Farm was our venue the moment I walked into the beautiful barn! Taylor and Joyce made me feel right at home and answered all the questions that I had. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the horse drawn carriage was a very nice touch to our special day. All of our guests still talk about how amazing everything looked and how much fun they had on our big day! If you are looking for a rustic feel with some very nice personal touches, I highly recommend checking out Wood Acres Farm.

If you're looking for a unique venue, then look no further! First and foremost, Joyce and the rest of the staff at Wood Acres are beyond friendly, I felt like I was part of the family. They are super flexible and allow you to bring in your own vendors/set up how you would like. They provide day-of coordination which is extremely helpful and not to mention, a horse & carriage ride!! You can either have a grand entrance and/or grand exit. It was a great touch because my husband and I got to have a few minutes of alone time right after the ceremony. We have been getting non-stop compliments on this venue, it really is something special so don't pass it up!

The venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful. It was terrific to have a climate controlled barn, normal restrooms (vs. portipotty), with tables and linens all included. As part of the overall wedding, guests LOVED my enterance with a horse and carriage. The guests also really enjoyed carriage rides themselves - it was something very unique that typically is not offered at weddings. I really thought it was super special that right after the ceremony, the bride and groom get their own carriage ride - it was really nice to have that 10 mins or so to be by ourselves and let us soak in all the feelings and emotions. The venue is also set up nicely where a buffet can easily be done and having the ability to be up on the stage for the sweetheart table allowed us to have a really special view point and take it all in. The wrap-around porch is awesome to have guests hang out and get some beautiful pictures and we opted for a fire pit - it was just a little extra something that our guests could enjoy while also allowing our photographer to capture a really awesome night pict. I am so thrilled we chose WAF as our venue - not only did I have the horses like I wanted in my wedding but we also were able to provide a really unique and fun experience for everyone. It will absolutely be a day I will never forget and look back with so many fond memories.

We had our wedding at Wood Acres Farm May 6th of this year. This was the perfect place to have our rustic, laid back, country wedding. The weather was great and horse and carriage was the most amazing grand entrance. Everyone couldn't stop talking about it! Alyssa was amazing! She made everything super easy and stress free. Everything went so smoothly. I couldn't of asked for more. I would highly recommend this venue!

We had our wedding at Wood Acres Farm May 6th of this year. This was the perfect place to have our rustic, laid back, country wedding. The weather was great and horse and carriage was the most amazing grand entrance. Everyone couldn't stop talking about it! Alyssa was amazing! She made everything super easy and stress free. Everything went so smoothly. I couldn't of asked for more. I would highly recommend this venue!

We held a wedding for our daughter on Memorial Day weekend this year - 2015. Joyce was terrific to work with.It was a gorgeous venue - perfect weather and perfect setting. The guests were really wow'd. It's perfect for a rustic wedding - great dance floor with the terrific wood floors in the \"barn\". It was a gay wedding and absolutely accommodating. We highly recommend Wood Acres.

Every comment I have gotten about our wedding always includes something about how wonderful the venue was. We had the best time out there. The wedding site itself is absolutely beautiful, and it lends itself to a lot of fun. Having the ceremony by the gazebo was fantastic and made for really beautiful pictures, and then our guests loved that they were able to head right over to the porch and start enjoying cocktail hour and hanging out instead of having to travel somewhere else for the reception. We had games out on the lawn during the cocktail hour (kanjam and cornhole), everyone loved hanging out on the porch and enjoying the nice weather, and the guests loved the carriage rides. We also took a carriage ride after the ceremony and it was really nice. It was so great to have a moment alone with my husband after the ceremony - champagne included! Everyone also commented how relaxed and unique the barn was. It definitely did not feel like a wedding factory and people really cut loose and had a great time. Joyce was very responsive and helpful in getting things together (which I especially appreciated since I live on the west coast and planned everything from afar) and Ann was a huge help on the actual day. We could not have been happier with our choice to have the wedding at Wood Acres!

The wedding site itself is absolutely beautiful, and it lends itself to a lot of fun. Having the ceremony by the gazebo was fantastic and made for really beautiful pictures, and then our guests loved that they were able to head right over to the porch and start enjoying cocktail hour and hanging out instead of having to travel somewhere else for the reception. We had games out on the lawn during the cocktail hour (kanjam and cornhole), everyone loved hanging out on the porch and enjoying the nice weather, and the guests loved the carriage rides. We also took a carriage ride after the ceremony and it was really nice. It was so great to have a moment alone with my husband after the ceremony - champagne included! Everyone also commented how relaxed and unique the barn was. It definitely did not feel like a wedding factory and people really cut loose and had a great time. Joyce was very responsive and helpful in getting things together (which I especially appreciated since I live on the west coast and planned everything from afar) and Ann was a huge help on the actual day. We could not have been happier with our choice to have the wedding at Wood Acres!

The setting was amazing for our wedding! We had 170 guests, the absolute maximum allowed, and Joyce made sure everyone fit comfortably. Originally we said not to worry about a dance floor, but the tables were arranged so that we had a small one, which worked perfectly. We were also allowed to set up badminton, and other outside games. Our guests had a blast! Our day was so memorable because of the unique space.

Joyce and Ken were very easy to work with = the room looked better than I could have even imagined. Joyce kept me calm even in the midst of the start of a hurricane! It was a great venue and people commented what a great choice!

We were trying to have a laid back wedding, but the they were pushy and rushing us the whole time. The place is beautiful and the horse and carriage ride was wonderful. I just didn't like how pushy they were.
