New Venue | NOW OPEN Woodhaven weddings and events is now booking for 2021 and beyond. Our new premier wedding venue will bring you Minnesota charm with a modern feel. Our large capacity for both ceremony and reception spaces make this venue flexible with your vision and floor plan. We can host up to 350 guests, and one of the biggest perks is you do not have to worry about MN weather! Both indoor spaces offer luxury options while still being able to enjoy beautiful weather on our large deck overlooking our golf course. Location Woodhaven Weddings + Events is tucked away in the rolling hills of Minnesota’s countryside. This new venue is 30-miles south of the Twin Cities and is approximately a 40-minute drive away from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.

We hosted our wedding at Woodhaven in November, and we (and our guests!) are still absolutely gushing over the venue; it was perfect for our November wedding! We are so happy with our choice to book with Woodhaven, the space is designed to be a blank canvas with separate areas for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception; it is beautiful on its own with no decorations, and we could decorate and make our wedding vision come to life! Although we planned an indoor event, we lucked out with perfect weather and could also enjoy the outdoor deck and patio overlooking the outstanding golf course! We were able to host our 200-person event with room to spare, and the getting ready space/upstairs lounge was perfect for us and our wedding party. The entire staff is so kind, organized, and communicative; expectations were easily set, met, and exceeded! Our vendors could easily work within the space to make our day run smoothly. We could not recommend Woodhaven enough, there’s plenty of good reasons the calendar for this all-in-one venue fills up fast, and one review doesn’t do this venue justice!

We could not recommend Woodhaven enough, there’s plenty of good reasons the calendar for this all-in-one venue fills up fast, and one review doesn’t do this venue justice!

We got married at Woodhaven in Sept 2023 & we truly had the best experience!! We had researched and toured many venues & none of them seemed like our perfect venue, until we toured Woodhaven! First of, the venue is GORGEOUS, we loved that the venue was white with black accents & AMAZING windows to bring in all the lighting!! The venue has a lot to offer, we loved that there was a separate ceremony & reception space (which were great sizes), a huge cocktail bar / space, a beautiful outdoor patio w/ string lighting & fire tables, and the upstairs has 2 separate bridal/groom suites with a shared kitchen space.We also wanted a venue that didn't have an end time that was early, so we loved that our wedding was able to go to 11:30pm.The staff was AMAZING, we worked closely with Micayla & she made this process 10x easier. We currently live out of state, which doesn't making wedding planning easy, but she accommodated to us so well. Brittany also helped us create our speciality cocktails, which were a hit! They also let us take a couple golf carts out onto the golf course to get photos, which turned out perfect!Overall, we'd HIGHLY recommend Woodhaven Weddings + Events to everyone!! They seriously made our wedding the most special & perfect day.The one con we have is the bathroom upstairs in the bridal suite's area is shared - this made it a little difficult to not run into the groom & groomsmen.Photographer @g.marieimages

Love love love everything about this venue!! Love the all white concept because it gave me the creativity to add my own colors when doing decor. They also could host a big number! I had almost 350 people. Bridal room, lounge and groom room was so big! I had my fairytale wedding here!

Working with Woodhaven was a great experience. We primarily worked with Micayla, she was helpful and was able to answer all of our questions promptly. We received many complements from our guests on the location, many liked the large open spaces. One thing we liked was that it was largely a blank canvas for us to decorate to our style. Also, the provided recommend vendor cheat sheet was a great tool that made planing our day straight forward. One point of improvement would be the timeliness of cashing checks. There are three payments that come along with booking a wedding at Woodhaven. Each time it took almost a month for the check to clear from our accounts.

Woodhaven was a fantastic venue! It was gorgeous, we didn't need to over-decorate, we just used a few florals and greens and photos here and there, because the space stood so well on its own. Micayla was our point person when we initially reached out and we ended up hiring her as our coordinator because she really went above and beyond. The ceremony and reception spaces are in different rooms for an easy transition, and everything is inside which makes for a stress-free day in terms of weather. We had 250 people and there was still plenty of room. The bar is big which serves a large group well and the get-ready rooms are stunning for both the bridal AND groomsman parties. The entire team is really organized and helpful - would definitely recommend your wedding day here.

Supportive, personable, professional, reliable, and hard working— we couldn’t have asked for a better venue coordination team. Woodhaven is a gorgeous and timeless venue with a beautiful white canvas that is easily designable and beautiful with even the littlest decor. They have a great group of preferred vendors and this venue sits on a stunning piece of land with a remarkable view and lots of parking and hotel options for your guests. This wedding venue is a dream and truly Woodhaven is what made our favorite day so incredible! Every meeting that lead up to our day was helpful and the weekend of the wedding they went above and beyond to take care of our family and friends. Worth every penny! Our wedding was amazing and our most common comment was how beautiful the venue was! It was raining the entire day so I was beyond grateful to have Woodhaven as our venue - every single photo of ours turned out great and looked like we were outside with all the natural light. I had little decorations which saved on costs because the venue, alone, was gorgeous enough. The team was helpful and accommodating and everything went as planned. We had a large wedding (315 people) and it wasn't crammed at all! Having the separate rooms and large bar area was key for us. It was honestly the best location for our wedding and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Woodhaven ruined my wedding ceremony and refused to make it right. The microphone that was provided (officiant brought his own but we were told we could not hook another microphone up to their sound system) was going in and out the entire ceremony. It’s ruined the song and all of the spoken parts. It was extremely embarrassing. If I could go back and have my wedding somewhere else I would. The most astounding part is that when I emailed them asking for compensation they basically told me it wasn’t their fault and they would not be giving me any of my money back. Mind you, I paid $7,865.78 to have my wedding here. I’m still devastated.

Woodhaven became my top venue choice when I saw the capacity, opportunity for both ceremony and reception in the same spot but not the same room, and the modern elegance of the space. I toured it and immediately knew it was going to be our place! My husband and I got married there on March 19, 2022 and it was honestly perfect. Brittany and Mikayla were immensely helpful in the planning process, especially with a short-ish engagement (6 months!). Lindsey and Shannon ensured that everything went smoothly from the venue's side on our actual day and were so helpful and kind! We had ~285 guests but it never felt crowded or chaotic. It is beautiful on its own but with simple greenery and floral it is amazing! We got many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The bar staff was great and helpful. We were grateful for the add-on package that we went with, which allowed us to get there at 7:30 am to get ready, get unlimited soda, coffee station, and take down at the end of the night. Overall I would highly recommend this venue for their attentive staff, beautiful setup, and helpful add-on packages. I will always be grateful we used Woodhaven for our wedding.

I am a wedding planner in the Twin Cities and as one of the newest wedding venues in the south metro area, Woodhaven Weddings & Events checks ALL of my must have boxes and then some!!First of all, the space is absolutely GORGEOUS! With plenty of natural light and a bright, clean white backdrop an event can have any color palette or design and look fantastic. Couples and groups using this event space will love all of the photos they get here and the ample space for guests! There is also a large bridal suite and groom's suite that are the perfect haven for wedding parties. Not only is the indoor space completely breathtaking, but this venue is located in such a beautiful location in Cannon Falls, MN, and there are plenty of great outdoor spots just outside that are also great for photos.Secondly and even more importantly, the staff at Woodhaven Weddings & Events is so great to work with! When I worked at Woodhaven for a recent styled shoot, I was warmly welcomed by Brittany and her staff and they even had a table of snacks available for the vendors! They were such gracious hosts and shared in our excitement about using their space.I will be sending many future couples their way and sincerely hope for the chance to get to work there and with them again!

Danielle and her team were extremely professional, yet very personable, and provided quality customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. It's because of Lynn, Danielle and Gopher Hills Golf Course that we even had a wedding at all! 2-weeks before the wedding we had our venue cancel on us for the ceremony and reception. With one phone call, Lynn and Danielle came in and saved the day! Danielle took into consideration all the vendors I already had booked and was willing to work with all the details I had already paid for. We cannot praise them enough! The site was exquisite for our wedding brunch and provided breathtaking views of the country side blanketed in white. Also, the partnership with Demos Catering is so beyond perfect! Ryan, Mike, and all of the staff are so accommodating. Seriously, consider this location! It has it all! I was so pleased with Gopher Hills Golf Course. They were so flexible and easy to work with. They were quick to respond with questions and made the day stress-free. Everything was set-up as promised and guests were very happy with the food, drinks, and space. You get an amazing amount of space, the food is excellent, and it is an overall very memorable site. It's set just beyond Miesville, MN, nestled back with a beautiful view of the golf course. Perfect for fall weddings!

I was so pleased with Gopher Hills Golf Course. They were so flexible and easy to work with. They were quick to respond with questions and made the day stress-free. Everything was set-up as promised and guests were very happy with the food, drinks, and space. You get an amazing amount of space, the food is excellent, and it is an overall very memorable site. It's set just beyond Miesville, MN, nestled back with a beautiful view of the golf course. Perfect for fall weddings!

Gopher Hills was such an amazing place to have our wedding reception. They made sure that we got in, in time to get everything set up. They let us use anything that we needed so that it all looked good. The staff was such a wonderful help. They made everything look great! If we needed any help they were right there helping with whatever we needed. They cut and served all of the cqke and made sure that the food was out on time and that it always stayed full (we had a buffett line). The senery is amazing and a beautiful place to take photographs. Being on the golf course with the nice green and the blue sly in the backround is just remarkable. The pricing there is unbelieveably cheap. For a room that fits 400 people is $500! That was the cheaspest place that I found for something that held that many people. The food is delicious and you have manyy chioces. They have meals pricing from $13.00 a plate to something more fancy for 18 or 19 dollars. Im so glad that we have our reception there. All our guests were very happy with the look, the service, and the layout! I would reccomend Gopher Hills to anyone that can get it.

The food was good and they were able to accomodate most of our needs. We got a lot of complements about how nice the facility was. A couple of prices went down during our planning process.;The facility actually has two separate rooms.
