Yacht StarShip is a unique wedding boat venue cruising the waters of Downtown Tampa and Clearwater, FL. With its gourmet in-boat catering team, open bar packages, and crystal waterway surroundings, the yacht promises to be a luxurious and unforgettable setting for wedding events. Couples can dance the night away with the twinkling city lights in the background while reveling in the professional comforts provided by the crew. Ideal for intimate and lavish weddings, Yacht StarShip can accommodate 25 to 600 guests for the ultimate celebration experience. With several indoor and outdoor event spaces available onboard, the yacht is a charming venue all year long. Couples can say their vows on the top deck surrounded by breathtaking views of the bay while a ship captain officiates the happy occasion. During cocktail hour and reception, newlyweds can enjoy a toast to their big day in a beautifully decorated dining hall. Yacht StarShip offers all-inclusive wedding packages, complete with Three-Diamond rated catering, premium bar services, and breathtaking vistas. All packages include private yacht rental, a day-of coordinator, a DJ, buffet-style or seated dining, a Champagne toast, and event rentals such as linens, microphones, and ceremony music. Couples can upgrade their package with open bar services, ranging from drink ticket systems to luxury beers, wines, and liquors. For the food, the culinary team can whip up delightful appetizers, starters, entrées, and desserts to suit the newlyweds' tastes and specifications. Additionally, the yacht can provide certain enhancements to elevate any special occasion, such as florals, photography, an ice sculpture, and a photo booth.

Our wedding was everything and more than we imagined it would be. I'm so happy that we went with the Starship as our venue. We had our wedding on the Starship IV Clearwater Beach and it was so beautiful and a perfect set up for 75 people. Our coordinator was Amelia, DJ was Paul, and Captain was Brennan. We could not of had a better staff. Amelia stuck to the timeline and made sure everything ran seamless. For us, 5 hours was the perfect amount of time for our wedding and order of events. The staff was nice, and everyone had an amazing time. Plus, the food was incredible, and DJ Paul got everyone on the dance floor. If you are looking for something inclusive, different, and organized - pick this venue! We will never forget this day!

We got married on Yacht Starship IV out of Clearwater Beach and our wedding day was absolutely incredible. Everything went so perfect and smooth. Joey, our venue coordinator was phenomenal down to every detail and keeping things running smoothly. We can't thank him enough for taking care of us on our day. The other staff and Dj Pharaoh were also incredible. We have heard from family and friends that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We cannot thank them enough for making it so special for us.

Our wedding on the StarShip Yacht Tampa was everything we could have dreamed of. It exceeded our expectations. Our Event Coordinator, Joey, created my vision with the decorations I provided to him. Joey kept us on track with the tight agenda. Everything went so smoothly. The views on the boat were absolute perfection. We loved the ceremony, which was on the top deck. The service was amazing. When we were searching for venues our primary concern was getting the most out of our budget. Most venues cost $5,000 just to rent the room before you do anything to it. What we really appreciated about Yacht Starship in the convenience and value. They handled every detail from start to finish and pretty much the only things we had to worry about ourselves was the personal touches; dresses, suits, cake, etc. Yacht Starship took care of the bigger things like catering, DJ, bar package, wedding coordinator, etc included in the cost. We could not find that value anywhere else. It was also so meaningful to be married on the Hillsborough River by the same company that owns the Pirate Taxis from our first date. We heard so many positive comments about our guests saying the Taste of Tampa buffet was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Truly a magical day.

We were able to do a rehearsal the day before on our boat as well as bring on any décor that we would need to have set up & Joey made sure it was done and reflected our vision. Our wedding was Friday ,June 16th and was flawless. We are still getting compliments on the amazing food and service by the waitstaff. We would definitely recommend The Yacht Starship for your wedding. The wedding coordinator Joey was absolutely fantastic! He made sure everyone was taken care! Starship truly did everything for us and planning was a breeze. A lot of things we didn’t have to worry about and the things they weren’t able to provide like a photographer they had an amazing list of recommendations. We truly want to thank starship and we will definitely be back on their dinner cruises.

Initially, I was thrilled to book with starship! There's no others like it... Where else can you say you got married on a boat?unfortunately, hindsight, I wish I would've booked with a different venue. after all, they didn't even take the boat out of the channel, so in every single one of my wedding photos, there's a building in the background I was under the impression during my initial walkthrough we would be making it out to the bay. There is no way we could have pulled off having a wedding three months after we were engaged without the StarShip. They took so much of the heavy lifting off of our hands, made your part of the planning super simple, and best of all our guests had a very unique experience!! We also utilized the next door Sparkman Wharf for a rehearsal dinner location so we didn’t have to be running all around town. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Unique, simple, fun and great staff.

Rachel is very professional!! She's patient, but time will not be wasted. She listens to the needs and desires of the bride and groom. Rachel gave us updates on who had not made it on the yacht yet and made sure the yacht did not move until the bride and groom gave the okay. The 4 hours go by quickly, so we needed someone like her to make sure things flowed smoothly. Our guests had a great time. From the beginning of the entire process to the end, everything was a pleasant experience.

My wedding was everything my husband and I wanted it to be. Eric, our Yacht StarShip Event Coordinator, and his team were amazing before and during the event. He helped with all the little things: glue for my cake topper, helped my bridesmaids with my bussel, asked me questions when he needed my direction during the event, taught us how to slice the cake (and other wedding things), and things I am not even aware of. He also kept us on schedule. We were also able to hire vendors to assist my dad up and down the stairs. Food and drink were included in the package. The DJ was spectacular (also included). Yacht StarShip is the full package.

Yacht Starship IV is the best wedding venue!We were originally supposed to be married on a cruise ship but once that was canceled several times we decided to look for a different venue. I came across the yacht and it was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Rachel was our planner and she is amazing! I can be very picky and she handled all of my questions and needs with grace! She helped me pick the extra rentals and decor to bring my vision to life. The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire experience of planning and the event itself. The food was delicious, the bar kept up with our crazy guests, and the DJ had everyone dancing and signing the whole charter!I can not recommend or thank the company/venue enough. It was such a unique and fun place for our wedding!

The staff were friendly, the DJ is amazing, the food was delicious, the bartender top notch and the overall look of the yacht is beautiful! We had our wedding on the Yacht Starship IV and it was incredible start to finish. I was a corona bride who downsized from a huge 175 person wedding in Arizona to a 50 person wedding on the boat. All of our guests had a blast (and are healthy, thank goodness). I can't say enough good things about our wedding planner Chris, who handled everything and took care of anything I needed. The food is incredible, the dj was a blast, the captain did a great job with our ceremony. Everyone at our wedding had a blast, and we would recommend the boat to anyone and everyone!

Starship was so easy to work with, flexible because so many things were changing with little notice, and had a coordinator to help us with everything we needed. They made our wedding seamless!

More importantly, they helped with decoration, vendor and guest logistics so we didn't need to worry about anything on our big day. The view was awesome! For the four hours of cruising along the canal and back to the Bay, we got to have the stunning sunset and city skyline behind us for pictures and for our guests to enjoy. Our wedding pictures turned out very cool and exciting. Last but not least, the price was very reasonable given their great services. Overall, we highly recommend this venue to host your wedding.

I had my wedding brunch the day after my wedding on the StarShip. This was a great experience for all of my guests. I only gave a four star because of some of the commitments made during the planning process were not exact as we got closer to my date. I think better communication could have resolved some of these issues, but it did make things stressful. The staff on the ship were great and everything was Amazing the day of the event. I would book another event, I would definitely try to extend the time because it just went way too fast.

When you plan a wedding, stress levels are bound to get high. When the wedding is a surprise, as ours was, that stress level can get through the roof. But in the hands of the extremely capable Yacht Starship wedding coordinator (Chris D.) DJ (Will) and the attentive staff, we were stress free and the evening was better than we had imagined. When we were assigned Chris as our coordinator, we felt we had a parter and planner more than coordinator. She’s attentive, and will help you readily with any questions or weird requests (like not letting the guest know they’re coming to a wedding!). Other highlights included the food, which frankly was better than we had expected, and of course the gorgeous sunset. Our only hiccup was that we had the captain perform our ceremony (a $400 upcharge), which we had written. It was clear he had not read through it prior, and there were some obvious missteps on his part. Thankfully, my husband and I knew the vows well, and were able to recover where he fell. All in all- highly recommended for an intimate wedding with excellent views, and an above average crew! Can’t wait to go back for our one year anniversary!

My husband and I were married aboard the Yacht Sensation on June 23,2017. We had a wedding of around 45 guests and the Yacht was the perfect size for the group. Throughout the planning, preparation, and wedding day, the Yacht Starship staff were fantastic and the process was incredibly easy and stress free for me. Amanda did a PHENOMENAL job as our wedding coordinator. She made sure that everything was taken care of and that our wedding and reception ran smoothly. The ship itself was very nice and clean, the DJ was great, and the ship staff members were very attentive and friendly. Our guests have continued to talk about how great the food was! Thanks to Yacht Starship and the Yacht Sensation staff, our wedding was everything we hoped for and more!

We recently celebrated our wedding reception on the Yacht Starship II and had an outstanding experience. My husband and I live very busy lives out-of-state, and the staff of Yacht Starship made the wedding planning process simple for us (many thank yous to Chris and Wendy for their support). We found their reminder emails (and quick response to our communications) extremely helpful, as was our planning conversation over the phone (which they can do in person if you are able to travel - we did one in-person session on vacation to see the boat). The Yacht Starship II was very well-maintained, and the two sets of stairs to the upper levels were unexpectedly easy to navigate in a ballgown. The bridal suite on the first level was very helpful for the storage of materials for the bridal party, as well as a nice private environment for the bridal party to relax in. Our guests continue to comment on how delicious the food was, and the Yacht Starship was able to accommodate our allergy needs and allow our nut-free guests to enjoy our reception safely. The staff was also very easy to work with in regard to vendor delivery and coordination of vendors - they even recommended a cheaper vendor for us for group transportation that was so appreciated. At our reception, we had created our own centerpieces for the guests' dinner tables (as opposed to a florist) and we dropped them off at the Yacht Starship the day prior to our reception. The staff of the Yacht Starship arranged all 90 of our centerpieces, cake table, and sign in/gift table for us prior to our arrival and it was just as we had imagined the decorations to look - they were so wonderful at making our vision come alive. We even had a last minute idea to show a slide show about a week prior to the reception, and they were able to work with us to show the slideshow on a projector during dinner. At the reception, the staff of the Yacht Starship took care of all of the details and allowed my husband and I to simply enjoy the party. We would, without hesitation, recommend the Yacht Starship for your party planning needs.

Although Wendy (our initial) contact wAs fabulous, our wedding reception was not deserving of 5 stars. When we arrived we had a different dj than who was discussed. Music was SUPPOSED to be a big part of our day.. but the dj dropped the ball x1000. We prepared and sent a list of over 75 songs to ensure our favorites were played and the flow was as we wanted. But there were long pauses between songs and terrible music flow. It was obvious she has not reviewed the song list and was not willing to take requests the day of. The yacht was beautiful. The ride was smooth. And the food was VERY YUMMY! Our guests are still talking about the food. The idea of a yacht reception is fun and unique. None of our guests had ever experienced a wedding like ours! But the music/dj failed.

We were married on 3-4-17 aboard the starship. From the very beginning to saying good-bye ALL the staff was extremely attentive, always available to answer my (sometimes silly) questions, offer support and overall very professional. Our coordinator was Amanda Garrison. Because I was not your regular bride, I think I may have created some challenges for her. We are much older, have lots of experience with weddings. Our choice was to provide all the decorations with explicit instructions. No problem for Amanda! On wedding day, everything (without exception) was executed exactly as we envisioned plus more. The itinerary was flawlessly kept precisely on time and transitioned smooth as silk. What I did not see while dressing, but my guest told me about is how all the guests instantly felt they were boarding a grand event. The staff set the mood by greeting the guests with trays of wine or beer, ushered them around the boat and made each feel like a VIP. These things are not in the contract, but is just the level of service the starship offers. The food was OUTSTANDING! We had beef tenderloin and jumbo pawns. It is no easy feat to prepare a large number of elegant plates and have each perfect. I mean perfect! The beef was just the right rareness for that cut, the sauces were rich and smooth and complimented the entry beautifully. Everyone was in awe over the quality of the food. And of course the staff made sure all was happy and never wanted for a thing.And I'm a very difficult person to please and In my 55 years, I've planned and hosted many grand events. I can attest that our wedding on the starship exceeded my expectations on every level! Thank you to Wendy Odom and especially Amanda Garrison for seeing to it this day was beyond awesome!

I can't say enough nice things about the Yacht Starship and all of the staff. Everytime I thought the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful I was pleasantly surprised again when they surpassed my expectations! This was not a first wedding for either of us, so we wanted an \"easier\" venue that would not require us to set up, break down, or clean up. The Yacht Starship took care of almost all services inclusively. I provided decorations to the staff at our rehearsal and they did all the set up. The services that are not provided are flowers/decorations, wedding cake, and photography. Gratuities are also included which made everything very easy. My guests (even those skeptical about spending hours on a boat) really enjoyed the venue and had a great time! In addition, I was sick the day of the wedding with a cough, so the staff made me hot tea and a \"hot toddy\" while I was getting ready that really helped! If you want great staff who will knock themselves out to help you this is the group to have your wedding with! My advice is if you aren't sure about the venue take a dinner cruise with the boat you are considering to \"try it out\". We did this and it was really sold us that it was the right venue for our big day.

They loved the décor, wedding ceremony, the reception and the food was delicious. I will recommend this company to anyone. Amanda was so great and she ROCKS!!!!!

We came over from England to see our son get married to a local Tampa girl. My son and his Bride organised the wedding themselves and I know how grateful they were for the help and support Chris and her team gave them throughout the whole planning process.From the minute we boarded the Starship Sensation the day was a wonderful, almost magical. The staff where all very pleasant and extremely helpful and Chris the event organiser was brilliant. We had a video to show of messages from UK, Chris organised a projector and screen and when we realised we hadn't sorted the sound DJ Paul stepped in to the rescue the day. The food was great, the setting was like a film set and everyone had a great time especially my son and his lovely bride. Not much more to say without going into detail except that an amazing time was had by all. The only downside was that the day went far too quickly. If you're looking for a venue that is different , very special and with help on the planning they you will not go wrong with Starship Thank you to all staff and crew at Starship.

We had a fabulous experience with Yacht Starship. I was so impressed with the food, attention to detail, and my guests all raved about how much fun they had. When we did the tastings, I was a bit concerned about the food quality, but on the day of, it was excellent!! I loved that they had 2 signature cocktails of our choice being handed out to our guests when they got onboard. I seriously am so happy I chose this venue. It is truly 5 star! Also, the boats just got a renovation, so they look awesome and new!

Yacht Starship was amazing for our rehearsal dinner - we had the Yacht Sensation all to ourselves, and it couldn't have been better. My out-of-town guests were so wowed and my young cousins thought it was the coolest thing ever. The DJ and service staff were both incredibly helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. We were having so much fun, my father-in-law didn't even make the speech he prepared because he \"didn't want to stop the party.\" We could have gone all night! It was like getting to have two weddings!

From meeting Wendy at the Florida Wedding Expo to our grand exit, the Yacht Sensation staff showed their full support every step of the way. Wendy invited us on a dinner cruise to help with the stressful task of choosing a venue, and my fiancé and I were instantly sold. We were treated like VIPs, even invited upstairs to meet the captain who was happy to share stories and his genuine love of the Sensation. We knew this atmosphere was exactly what we wanted our guests to experience.After our initial commitment, there was a lot of waiting. But once we got in touch with Amanda everything fell into place. Though she works in Tampa, she traveled to Clearwater to meet us on the Sensation simply because I wanted to be inside the ship again when making decisions. She listened carefully, answered all our questions with patience, and we felt comfortable discussing personal questions about traditions and our families. Between then and our rehearsal, Amanda was always available by email and phone and responded promptly and with sincere enthusiasm. It felt like we were the only wedding on her schedule. And when my MoH and I were 45 minutes late to our rehearsal because my dress alterations weren’t finished on time, she wasn’t fazed. She entertained our families while they waited, then ran our rehearsal efficiently, with lots of warmth too.The day of was nothing short of magical. Every detail was just as we’d envisioned. DJ Paul found every piece of music we’d requested. Amanda coordinated with our cake vendor so we didn’t even have to handle that part of our day. Our photographers worked with the schedule Amanda had planned so that everything happened perfectly, with just enough time to enjoy everything. Captain Stephen kept our guests informed as our route altered to avoid choppy water, and he ensured that dolphins accompanied us on our journey. As we took photos upstairs, Amanda remembered that I’d chosen the scallops for my father and saved some for him. At dinner Jody personally served us at our sweetheart table and made us feel like celebrities. There couldn’t possibly be a more romantic evening.Like many others have said, our only complaint is that it was too short. Many of our guests have written to say this was the most unique (and FUN) wedding they had ever attended, that it will live on in their hearts forever. Our top priority was that our guests have a good time because we rarely get to see them (they visited from all over the country and abroad) and we knew we wouldn’t have much time to spend with them, so a fantastic experience of their own was key. The Yacht Sensation went above and beyond the call of duty. I loved that my final memory, just as my bridesmaids stuffed me into our getaway car, is Amanda’s smiling face handing us a bottle of champagne and a gift from the crew, wishing us the best of luck on our new life together. Their card not only celebrated our marriage, but they personalized it by also congratulating me on my recent promotion. They obviously listen to their clients and have profound attention to detail.In short, the Yacht Sensation is the perfect wedding venue for all couples. Your coordinator will be open and honest and as accommodating as possible, your DJ will find all the right music, and your captain will keep to calm but thrilling seas. No extra decoration is needed, though they welcome as much as you’d like. You will feel like the most special couple on earth.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception on the Yacht Starship II in April. We had a wonderful time and everything ran smoothly thanks to Brooklyn and the other staff of the Starship. It's a gorgeous spot for a ceremony. Our guests thought the food was good and the bartenders were great as no one had to wait long to get a drink. The dancing was a lot of fun. We had almost 80 people and it was a little tight on the dance floor but nobody seemed to mind. Everyone had a terrific time. I would definitely recommend this venue!

From day 1 Wendy and Eric assured us they would provide an exceptional worry-free event, they certainly followed through with their promise! Well, Im not sure whete to start. Initially, I had a wonderful experience this waa with Wendy and Eric. Once payment in full was made the entire process was completely different. \rI was switched around to another person named Amanda that was absolutely horrible because Eric was promoted. I had to hunt people down and things got so bad I ended up speaking with the owner Jill eho at first tried to justify nut eventually understood my feelings and of course felt like things would change. For the most part they did somce I was given Eric back as my Coordinator. He an I had issues here and there but I felt towards the end things came together. \rFast forward to my wedding night. My wedding was to start at 5pm.. Of which I was there waiting on a car because set up wasn't complete. It didn't until well over an hour later because of a late vendor. The issue my husband an I have with the Yacht is that noone contacted me to let me know the issue. My guest stood outside the yacht for an hour as I was stuffed in a car in my dress waiting for the all clear. I missed pictures that could've been taken and was rushed only to sit and wait. \rAll of this delay caused my food to be absolutely terrible because the folet of beef had a hollandaise sauce that was curdled it had sat so long and was just microwaved and brought out once it was time to eat. I ranted and raved about this food to all of my guest and was completely embarrassed when it was served. Just gross! I was told that it was because the yacht was late leaving.\rNot to mention in order for us to get all of our time we had to pay an additional $600.00. to the yacht to continue. I will say that the rental company Coast to Coast was over 3 hours late and Eric and my other vendors were trying to get stuff put together at the last minute but to charge me and this was of no fault of my own and I was not even morified as to the issue was just wrong. \rWe can't get this day back nor can we fix the emotional stress caused by this entire ordeal. At least I am married to the love of my life but for all of this to occur and nothing done to compensate for any of it, is just not right and all future brides should think twice if you want to enjoy your process.

Well, Im not sure whete to start. Initially, I had a wonderful experience this waa with Wendy and Eric. Once payment in full was made the entire process was completely different. \rI was switched around to another person named Amanda that was absolutely horrible because Eric was promoted. I had to hunt people down and things got so bad I ended up speaking with the owner Jill eho at first tried to justify nut eventually understood my feelings and of course felt like things would change. The yacht was absolutely gorgeous. The staff, DJ, and captain were a delight to work with. I loved that they joined in on the fun and made the day even better. The food was fabulous. We wanted to include all our family and friends in a welcome dinner on Friday night before our wedding. The Sensations Sunset Dinner Cruise was a perfect way to bring everyone together and have a wonderful time. The ship had plenty of room for people to move around and converse with one another with the beautiful sights of Clearwater. \r\rThe food and staff was amazing to work with and really made our evening special. The ship was clean and had 3 different areas for guests to mill around. An observation deck, dancing floor and of course main cabin. \r\rThere were toasts, dancing and a lot of wonderful time to get to know everyone. I would highly recommend this as a venue for anyone's wedding or rehearsal dinner or just take the cruise when you visit Clearwater.. you will not be disappointed.

The wedding coordinator, Eric, helped in making my wedding such a wonderful event! I could not have asked for more on my special day. The whole Sensation yacht staff was so kind and helpful. The day ran smoothly and everything looked so lovely. My groom and I were really pleased with the way things turned out and felt like it was a magical night on a magical boat. Also, the DJ was on top of all the music I provided and we had a great time dancing until the end of the ride. Using Yacht Starship as my venue was the best decision I ever made. Their price per person for what is included is so reasonable--every entree was made fresh for my guests and tasted delicious--I did not anticipate every person to LOVE their meal! Brooklyn takes the guess-work out of wedding planning and day-of jitters; I did have one minor issue with children's meals the day of, but Brooklyn quickly and professionally rectified the issue. It was great to have everything in one place--Captain Tom did a great job performing our ceremony. The crew accommodated for inclement weather and everything went off without a hitch!

We had our wedding on the Yacht Sensation on June 27, 2015. It was amazing. Our guests could not stop raving about it. The yacht is gorgeous and provides such a unique backdrop for a wedding, our photographers were so excited. Captain Logan did a great job with our vows. The food was excellent, the wait staff and bartenders were all so friendly and helpful, and Kayla made sure we were never in need of anything. I LOVED the easy planning with Eric our coordinator and having him there during the event put my mind at ease. DJ Dan was awesome... we didn't want the night to end. Everyone had a fabulous time and it was truly a first class event!

This was truly a fabulous experience. Wendy and Brooklyn did an outstanding job. We put the wedding together in about 7 days and everything went very smoothly. We had a small wedding party(22) and the venue was terrific. I used 2 of the preferred vendors for the cake (Corey's Bakery)and flowers (Brides N Blooms)and they too were fantastic. The total cost included the yacht, sit down dinner, open bar, flowers and cake. The staff on the yacht were extremely attentive and I would highly recommend for a beautiful wedding experience.
