Nestled in a vineyard, The Landing 1841 is a location in Burlington, WI, where grand elegance meets modern rustic. This venue is available for weddings as well as private events, weekday events, and conferences. Breathtaking panoramic river views set the stage for a large and uniquely laid out grey-white washed barn. Rustic beams, grand chandeliers, a built-in bar area, and several French doors opening onto a large deck area overlooking the lawn and White River views are just a few of the features this venue has to offer. Invite up to 200 loved ones to witness this special day. A get-ready suite is also available at the property, wherein you and your wedding party can retreat to prepare or unwind. With heating and cooling all year round, you can be assured that your guests will be comfortable no matter when you choose to wed. When all is said and done, celebrations can continue on the large deck area, which is also ideal for a cocktail party. The venue is surrounded by accommodations in the resort town of Lake Geneva, and so you may choose the one that suits you best. The staff at Landing 1841 takes great care to ensure your event is seamless as it is successful. Aligned as such, they can assist you in setup and cleanup. Glassware, tables, and French cross-back chairs can also be provided for the occasion. Manned by an experienced bartender, the bar can be operated as an open, cash, or limited bar. Internet runs throughout the property, and it is also reduced mobility friendly

I admit, to call The Landing a \"dream come true\" sounds so cheesy, but honestly.... I can't think of how else to describe this venue and the people who run it! It was just the perfect place for our big day. The property itself is absolutely bursting with beauty and a noticeable sense of ease. Its almost impossible not to come here and immediately feel at peace. I wanted people to have a sense of joyful well-being for our wedding, and the water, the landscaping, the incredible antiques and buildings at The Landing... all of it added up to a place where people want to be. My husband and I fell in love with it right away (before the barn was even finished!), and our guests STILL talk about the secluded ceremony site, the spacious barn, and the gorgeous sunset over the water. They remember how they felt at our wedding, and that is seriously the best gift for my husband and I. Looking back now, I can't get over some of the beautiful antique pieces that feature in our wedding photos as decor that I couldn't possibly have found/had on my own! Everything at The Landing has a story, and I highly encourage you to ask someone to tell you them. I found that they added such depth to my big day!All of that comes even before I can talk about the owners and staff! I cannot tell you how grateful I am that Renee and her husband run the property... Their vision for the venue and their humility while creating a place that is truly incredible make my heart SO happy. The dreams they have for The Landing are inspiring, and I am excited to think that with their commitment and skill, the place that means so much to me will only continue to become all that it can be! They are kind, thoughtful, highly professional, and every staff person we encountered made us feel right at home, like we belonged and were a part of their team too. We simply could not have had a better experience. The attention to detail, the non-hurried conversation and the warmth of this team stands out above the crowd. They are grounded people who know what they are doing, and they strive for excellence in all things. We are just so blessed to have worked with them and to have benefited from their hard work!

Do not hesitate to book your wedding here! I got married on November 3, 2023 and it was an absolute dream. Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire day and even during the planning process.

Everyone gave me so many compliments on the venue and how beautiful it was. I only have a few complaints. I accepted their suggestion to have our first dance under the chandelier but then hardly anyone could see. Our rehearsal person lined us up and then that was it. It threw off our flow and since I was my own wedding planner - my in-laws were waiting for the venue for direction. I asked so many questions during planning to better prepare and it would have been nice if they had proactively provided information. And there was a discrepancy in the contract price and what was in it. Due to the system change, I had no way to prove what was in my original

The Landing was a dream place for my wedding September 2023. It didn’t require a lot of extra decor because the outdoor ceremony space and upscale rustic interior are charming on their own. The staff were great to work with and I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides!

We got married last night and Anna Daniels was our coordinator. She made our vision come true, she kept us on pace, and made the whole experience magical. Highly recommend the whole trunk experience where it they do your set up, take down, and day of coordinating! 1841 is a dream venue with a luxury barn wedding experience. With it's gorgeous chandeliers, breath taking views, and variety of conveniences. They have a place for both parties to get ready, they have an indoor chapel, outdoor grassy ceremony area alongside a riverfront, and a gorgeous vineyard. Absolutely everyone will compliment your wedding here.

What a wonderful night at a beautiful venue. We are still in awe of how wonderful our night went at the landing. From the moment we initially booked, to our wedding night we were always in the loop. The landings communication and receptiveness to our goals was nothing short of amazing. Our coordinator and other staff went the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect. They removed a ton of stress from us and made everything smooth. We highly recommend the landing to anyone, they are true professionals and will undoubtedly make your special day perfect.

What a wonderful night at a beautiful venue. We are still in awe of how wonderful our night went at the landing. From the moment we initially booked, to our wedding night we were always in the loop. We got married here a few weeks ago, and it was the perfect venue. We booked The Landing 1841 two years prior, but they made sure to keep in touch with us throughout. They answered every question we had in a very timely manner, and offered a ton of help and recommendations along the way. The day of our wedding went so smooth, and in the best way possible, I don't recall ever talking with the staff because everything they did was so well done, I had no need to. They handled every single thing and made sure our day was as perfect as possible. Everyone knew exactly where they needed to be, and when, and we couldn't have done that without all of their help. Anna and Molly were so helpful leading up to our wedding, meeting with us and going over all of the details, and making sure our vision was brought to life day of. With a two year engagement, I thought of a million questions and changed my mind a few times, but they were so supportive along the way through it all. They truly care about their couples and want to make sure they have the best day. Not to mention, the venue is absolutely beautiful, and so well taken care of. Having a space for the entire wedding party to get ready was a huge plus and made the entire day feel so much more special being on site for it all. We had so many compliments about the venue and how effortless the entire day seemed thanks to the entire staff. We couldn't have picked a better venue to get married.

The first thing every guest told me at my wedding was how beautiful the venue was!! Clean, classy, unique, timeless, I could go on. Everything was set up exactly how I needed it to be. However, from booking to wedding I was in contact with so many different people. It got frustrating because I was repeating the same details I went over with one person with another. I felt like I was talking in circles all of the time. The day of, the employee I was provided wasn't given all of the details it seemed. All of the emoyees were extremely kind and helpful, it just seemed like there was also a communication jumble. If I did this again, I would hire a wedding coordinator because the employees truly did not do anything for the wedding itself. But also, the bar staff was amazing!

My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better venue! We had a longer engagement so we had booked the venue almost two years ago and the venue stayed in constant communication with us! So accommodating, quick to respond, you can really tell that everyone there wants you to have the best wedding. Lina in specific, was fantastic! My husband and i took multiple trips up to the venue whenever we had questions and wanted to see things again - staff was very helpful in scheduling times that worked for all of us. We had so many compliments from our guests regarding the venue! I wish I could relive that day over and over. THANK YOU GUYS!!

The venue was fantastic and our wedding coordinator Jacquie was great to work with as well! It was beautifully set up and the staff was all around the area to help everyone get seated. We ended up changing out mind and having the dance floor be in the same room as the reception. We only had about 115 people so there was enough space and I am very happy we did that. The only issue I had (not with the venue itself) but was with the communication. There were multiple emails and multiple people sending information so it wasn't clear who I was supposed to email with questions and such. Definitely recommend, there are plenty of places to take some amazing pictures as well.

My dream wedding definitely came true! This venue was my top pick from my first look and just knew I wanted to get married here. No need for huge amounts of decor because the rustic barn and the decor they have speak for themselves! Nicole was great to coordinate with up to the day of and Stephanie and Molly helped so much throughout the day and night! The staff at the bar were also super friendly and helpful. Overall, the guests loved the place, and so did we! We highly recommend having your wedding or other important event here!

The bar, which is separate but still booked through the venue was amazing (and the bartenders were honestly the best I've ever seen at a wedding). Everyone is so helpful, they have a backup plan for everything, present the day of and throughout the entire process. Beautiful places for photos all around the property, the river was beautiful and the views were gorgeous! So stunning! Be prepared for planes is the only criticism. We had planes flying over in the middle of our vows, which is why we had a later ceremony, but if you're prepared, it's perfect!

Beautiful places for photos all around the property, the river was beautiful and the views were gorgeous! So stunning! Be prepared for planes is the only criticism. We had planes flying over in the middle of our vows, which is why we had a later ceremony, but if you're prepared, it's perfect!

Nichole was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. They are super easy to work with and I would recommend this venue to anyone! Not only is the property absolutely beautiful, the staff is just amazing. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day because they took care of it all. We put all the decor in their hands and it truly was beyond what I even imagined. From the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, to the bridal suite, to the wedding and reception, we could not recommend this venue enough! The Landing 1841 is absolutely beautiful - inside and out! It fulfilled all the dreams we envisioned for our special day. Luckily we were able to get married outside, but honestly the indoor ceremony space was so dreamy too, and perfect for photos.The staff, and Morgan specifically, are fantastic, responsive and flexible. When I needed last minute adjustments to music, groom prep area and decor, they were there to help. This venue has an indoor or outdoor ceremony area, the most gorgeous reception room, a bridal suite to get ready the day of, it sits on 50 acres of beautiful land, and has the BEST staff a soon to be married couple could ever ask for! Morgan was my day of coordinator and event manager; she is extremely professional while also being so warm and personable. She kept me on track at all times and has the most calming demeanor that keeps a bride sane! Renee, Nicole, and Courtney were also part of our special day and I could not have had a better crew to help make our big day go so smoothly. I could go on and on about how amazing this venue and it's staff are but trust me when I say this is venue where you want your dream wedding to take place!

Our guests were always taken care of, our entire wedding party was brought appetizers, and my husband and I were escorted around the grounds for our private photos while always making sure we had a drink in our hand. Morgan, Renee and Courtney were always there for any questions we had or anything we needed along the way. We invested in the day before set up, tear down service, and day of coordination- I highly recommend investing in all 3 as it ensured our day went smoothly, decor was perfectly set and maximized the time we got to spend enjoying our day. We were so blessed to work with Morgan, Renee, and Courtney throughout our whole journey to our wedding day (at let me tell you, this journey was not a walk-in-the-park thanks to the year 2020)! The minute we toured The Landing (back in 2018), we knew it was the venue for us. The staff was so inviting, the buildings had so much history, and the property was just breathtaking. We picked our date, and off we went, searching for the rest of our vendors for our day. Luckily, we didn't have to search far in wide, because The Landing's website had a list of every highly-recommended vendor we could ever think of to make our day special. We found our photographer and caterer off their website, and were just as pleased with these choices as with our choice of venue! We thought we were sitting all good until the pandemic hit and our plans were thrown for a loop. Luckily, we had Morgan and Renee at our sides every step of the way, working hard to make sure we could still pull off a wedding day that would be one to remember. We ended up cutting our numbers to 1/4 of what we initially wanted (just for our own safety and peace of mind), and Morgan and Renee worked with us to make sure that we still got enough bang for our buck for our significantly smaller wedding day. Finally, after planning and replanning, we made it to the wedding day and everything turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The staff was fantastic: Courtney tooled us around on a golf cart all evening for pictures. The venue had plenty of space for everyone to spread out: from the porch to the river bank, to the vineyard, our guests were able to move comfortably and safely to their hearts' content. The service was truly unmatched: at the end of the night, we were all packed up and ready to go well before our check-out time thanks to the many hands offered by The Landing staff. What a lovely place, staff, and day it was. All the stress and changes ended up turning into the most beautiful day of our lives, and we can't wait to come back and visit The Landing someday for their wine or pizza nights to reminisce about our day at the perfect venue!

They were great at communicating with all of their couples, whether it be answering questions or letting us know of any changes at the venue. What we especially loved about the venue from the beginning was that there was a space to have a beautiful indoor ceremony in case of bad weather. And the small barn came in handy on our cold and rainy fall wedding day. We cannot imagine our wedding day any differently because everything went off seamlessly at the venue. If you’re debating adding on the coordinating package, you should 100% do it! Morgan was amazing at creating our timeline, communicating with our vendors, and coordinating the day of. I can’t say enough amazing things about the Landing & their staff. Renee, Morgan, Courtney, & the rest of the staff are truly wonderful. From start to finish they made our wedding day perfect. Even when our ceremony site flooded the day before our wedding, Courtney called us, and we were able to be come in and look up back up plans. She showed us several and told me to sleep on it and let her know in the morning. The next day I told her where, and they set up both our new ceremony site and all our decorations for outside and inside. They were fast and efficient and everything turned out beautifully. The saddest part about not being a bride anymore is not being able to work with this wonderful ladies anymore. I truly will miss them! You will not regret having your wedding at The Landing. I've stalled on this review because I wanted to make sure it was so heartfelt. I have so many emotions I want to capture and express! The Landing 1841 completely blew me away. Morgan was outstanding. I'm telling you OUTSTANDING. She was extremely attentive and always there for you. She has this amazing way about her that just puts you at ease. EVERY single interaction was a positive one. I honestly felt like I was partnering with a family member whenever I worked with her. Some people love what they do and it's evident. She is the definition of something who loves what she does. She embodies this positive energy that I swear is contagious and that positivity trickled it's way into our wedding day. Besides the venue being extremely lovely and romantic- for me the biggest take away was the people I worked with. From Morgan, to Renee, to Sammi- everyone was just outstanding. Let's talk day of! Unless you have been married before I feel like no one can prepare you for the craziness of the day of your wedding. It's a whirlwind. I can not tell you how thankful I was for Courtney the day of. She was literally this saving grace that was just there to make the day go smooth. She treated me with such kindness that even reflecting back on it I just can't imagine the day without her. She was there to literally make sure everything was going as planned and there to squash all stress. She was at least 3-5 steps ahead of me at all times. Thinking of things before I could. Besides the venue being extremely lovely and romantic- for me the biggest take away was the people I worked with. From Morgan, to Renee, to Sammi- everyone was just outstanding. Let's talk day of! Unless you have been married before I feel like no one can prepare you for the craziness of the day of your wedding. It's a whirlwind. I can not tell you how thankful I was for Courtney the day of. She was literally this saving grace that was just there to make the day go smooth. She treated me with such kindness that even reflecting back on it I just can't imagine the day without her. She was there to literally make sure everything was going as planned and there to squash all stress. She was at least 3-5 steps ahead of me at all times. Thinking of things before I could. On top of every single thing. It literally blew my mind. The Landing is a beautiful, one of a kind venue. The grounds are breathtaking and your guests will be in awe. But for me- the service is my biggest take away. Every penny I spent was worth it. I can't say enough good things.

I love The Landing so much! Since the first day I felt so welcomed when we came to tour the venue for the first time. I can tell that Morgan, Courtney, and Renee truly care about the couples that they book there, they were always there for every question or idea I had. The staff has running events down to a T. Everything is so organized that it makes the day so seamless. We had our ceremony outside on the property and the staff assisted everyone with knowing where to go and what to do. The property is beautiful with endless indoor/outdoor spots for photos. We have enjoyed attending two of their resale events where they have couples come to sell their wedding decor and the have vendor giveaways. I would pick the landing all over again, and I need to find and excuse to go visit in the future :)

It is extremely apparent how beautiful this venue is. There are endless opportunities for picture perfect settings on the property. The bridal house for getting ready is another added bonus. There is plenty of room and it is so convenient to have. The contract does state that the house will be locked for the reception; however, you don’t realize just how difficult it is to get all of the things out that you and your girls will need the whole night. They require you to move everything to a foyer area in the house. I think it would be an awesome idea to have someone be able to sign a key out. The house can be completely locked (there is a separate door leading into the house from the foyer), but give someone a key to the foyer for emergencies. Working in the service industry I understand the importance of carding everyone before serving alcohol, but the entire wedding party got carded and nobody had their ID’s on them. It was then a fight to allow us into the foyer for them. An even better idea would be a staff member to check the wedding party ID’s at rehearsal or when the bartenders get there to set up day of to avoid this all together. We were told they have an awning for the porch area that we’d just have to tell them prior to the event if we want out or not. We said yes just to be safe because it still wouldn’t take away from the view or beauty of the deck, but were then told it would be $500 to set it up since we were the first ones to use it this year. $500 for awning set up definitely was not worth it to us, but I wonder how it works with other events after the awning has been “set up” once. The venue will also tell you about all of their plans/future projects to sell you; they told us grooms quarters for the men to get ready in and the separate ceremony chapel. We scheduled a meeting/walk through a month out from our wedding date, and that was the day they told us nothing would be completed. I felt completely blind sided because it seemed like they wouldn’t have mentioned any of this until our final walk through that they schedule a week out. At our final walk through they ended up telling us the chapel would be ready but just the inside, there wouldn’t be any landscaping around it or outside building work done. We did rehearsal in the chapel and I sunk ankle deep in mud right outside the French doors to walk in. It was not worth people getting hurt or ruining shoes/dresses. With all that said, our wedding turned out beautifully, but I think it is extremely important to read all the fine print and get everything they tell you in writing because their word is not good enough.

All of our guests were amazed with the location and its beauty!The Landing 1841 staff made wedding planning simple with their add-on planning packages. Morgan took all of the stress of planning away through finalizing the timeline, confirming with our vendors, setting up all of our decorations, keeping everyone on time, directing guests, tearing down at the end of the night, and much more! Morgan allowed us to truly enjoy our day as she kept a close eye on every little detail! Throughout our long engagement, The Landing 1841 has kept in contact with all of their updates and exciting news such as completing the indoor ceremony barn, taking over the bar services, and replacing the big willow that was taken out by a storm. The Landing 1841 exceeded all of our expectations in a wedding venue. I initially fell in love with the pictures online, but from the moment my husband and I arrived for our initial tour, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. Not only is it gorgeous, but it is the ideal combination of rustic with a touch of glam - which is right up our alley! It felt so warm and intimate, so it was amazing for our winter wedding. We loved having the two different areas for the ceremony, turned dance floor, with the dining room separate. Everyone loved being able to either be in the action, or sit at their table and enjoy conversation. Having the bridal house for the day was incredibly helpful, so that we could be on site all day. Not to mention, their inventory of adorable furniture pieces made decorating so easy!Renee and Morgan were incredible to work with! They were there to answer all of our questions and made everything run so smoothly! Prior to our wedding, Morgan was available and quick to respond to any questions I had, and on our wedding day, she made sure to check in with me every hour or so just to make sure I was okay and to see if I needed anything. The property and barn are beyond beautiful and really need minimal decorating to make your day look amazing. If you’re looking for an elegant but rustic venue without feeling like you “have” to have on cowboy boots and burlap decorations - this is the place!

We booked The Landing when there was nothing but bare studs and a beautiful antique hutch in the middle of the dining room. Renee gave us a tour and painted a picture of her vision of what she pictured The Landing to look like. Renee and Tim did not disappoint, it was everything and more than what we imagined for where we would get married. Leading up to the big day we had wonderful service from the staff. The big day of was nothing short of amazing! The venue alone speaks for itself, the detail that they put into the venue really makes it what it is, and it's simply breathtaking. We had outstanding customer service from Courtney (general manager), she was so personable, helpful in many ways, and went out of her way to make sure everything was going smoothly so we didn’t have to worry. This venue is truly stunning and we couldn’t have imagined anywhere else to get married. Thank you for everything The Landing 1841!

The Landing was the perfect venue for our June wedding. It had so much natural beauty and it was even better than we expected it would be for our wedding day. The staff drove us around in golf carts to get pictures in all the best locations! The people there were truly amazing to work with and were extremely flexible to our wishes. Morgan and Courtney were so helpful on our day and made sure everything ran smoothly without any stress. I would definitely recommend using Morgan as your coordinator. She made everything so much easier for us and was just amazing to work with. My husband and I fell in love with the willow tree location and although there was a lot of rain the week of our wedding, they still made sure we were able to use that location since they knew how much we loved it. I was so happy to have had my wedding held at The Landing 1841. Morgan, Courtney, and the entire staff that day were nothing but helpful. As the bride, all I had to worry about that day was walking down the aisle (which was outside, under the willow tree – and it was amazing). I sent pictures of all my wedding decorations to Morgan and, before the wedding, had a chance to discuss what exactly I wanted to be done with them. After listening to my requests and working a plan out with me, I took her suggestion to take the reigns over how the decorations would be utilized that day – and I was not disappointed. Morgan was very attentive to me from the day I put down the deposit, to the day I was married. She helped set my timeline up and kept in touch with all my other vendors throughout my wedding process. My husband and I really appreciated how she had everything run smoothly during the ceremony and reception. We didn’t have any drama on our wedding day at all. We felt so blessed to have our wedding here and all our guests had a great time. The venue was a perfect size for all our guests (we kept it to about 100 and everyone felt so comfortable and relaxed) and recreations. We had yard games and a little makeshift photobooth area outside (none of which were in the ceremony space) and the guests still had plenty of room to just hang out in the yard. Not to mention, great natural scenery for wedding photographs! I would recommend investing in the Whole Trunk Package and Clean-Up if you are looking into this venue. I thought it was well worth it and, because we did invest in this package, we didn’t have to worry about anything (which is so, so worth it)! I couldn’t talk more positively about this venue. Without the staff’s hard work, I couldn’t have had my perfect wedding. I am so grateful to everyone there!

I cannot speak highly enough about the venue AND the entire staff. The venue speaks for itself. It's elegant yet rustic. The outside ceremony area is gorgeous and well maintained and the bridal house is perfect. A grooms quarters is in the works and that will just be another plus! Now, a venue can be beautiful and perfect, but if you don't have the right team, well then you could have problems. Thankfully, the team at The Landing was AMAZING! Renee is amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us on our Sunday wedding! Morgan is who I worked with up to the event and she was fabulous! She was quick to respond to sometimes numerous emails a day from me. She offered advise when I had questions. She was just beyond! Courtney is who I worked with the day of the wedding. Wow... I was nervous because I hadn't worked closely with her yet but I knew that if Morgan and Renee left her in charge then I would be fine, and I was MORE than fine. I mean she just was on point the entire evening. Making sure we were where we needed to be, making sure all was running smoothly, working side by side with my photographer and wedding planner AND even took pictures for me that she sent me right after the event. I'm still in a wedding haze but I can honestly say this was THE best experience and I cannot find one thing wrong. The only thing I would have wanted was more time to savor everything and I think that's all anyone ever wants! OH and EVERYONE is talking about how amazing the venue is. Even though I knew it, it's just great hearing other people share your opinion. THANK YOU THE LANDING 1841!!!!

She was quick to respond to sometimes numerous emails a day from me. She offered advise when I had questions. She was just beyond! Courtney is who I worked with the day of the wedding. Wow... I was nervous because I hadn't worked closely with her yet but I knew that if Morgan and Renee left her in charge then I would be fine, and I was MORE than fine. I mean she just was on point the entire evening. Making sure we were where we needed to be, making sure all was running smoothly, working side by side with my photographer and wedding planner AND even took pictures for me that she sent me right after the event. I'm still in a wedding haze but I can honestly say this was THE best experience and I cannot find one thing wrong. The only thing I would have wanted was more time to savor everything and I think that's all anyone ever wants! OH and EVERYONE is talking about how amazing the venue is. Even though I knew it, it's just great hearing other people share your opinion. THANK YOU THE LANDING 1841!!!!

Overall our wedding was absolutely wonderful. Morgan was very responsive with all of my questions and did everything she could the day-of to make sure things went smoothly and that I had everything I needed the day-of. We paid handsomely for that though. While I loved our wedding, the food, the atmosphere - everything - even the minute details were extra money. That was disappointing. Don't even get me started on the bar situation - that whole setup price-wise is horrible and there's only one option if you want alcohol. Also, we were early/on-time/organized with everything and we felt like we were being watched/pressured to get out by the end of the night (we left about 20-30 minutes early) - that was uncomfortable. All in all we got rained out (which is absolutely nobody's fault) but they worked their butts off to make sure everything went on time, and as smoothly as possible. I truly did appreciate that. The site itself is beautiful - which was ultimately what attracted us to the venue. I will not regret that choice and in the end the things that bothered us in the moment will fade with time. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. All in all no regrets from us.

My husband and I just got married at The Landing 1841 this past weekend! We were extremely pleased with the venue and the staff. Morgan was very helpful through the whole planning process. She even helped us as we set up decor, giving helpful suggestions and accommodating all of our wishes on the day of and day before our wedding. Courtney helped facilitate our rehearsal in a very timely and professional manner and along with Morgan, helped cue everyone as our huge bridal party (27 people) walked down the aisle. We got compliments all throughout the day from our guests about how beautiful the venue is. We loved the outdoor ceremony space, the many perfect places for photos, as well as the indoor reception space. We had 180 guests comfortably in the reception space with plenty of other areas for guests to hang out in-outdoor deck, yard, and front room area. The Bridal House was an added bonus! We had 17 ladies getting ready all together and we had plenty of room and mirror space. It's a beautiful space to get ready in and hang out in before the ceremony starts and there are some great spots for 'getting ready' pictures. Overall, we had an exceptional experience leading up to the wedding and on our special day!

Overall our wedding at The Landing was wonderful - an unforgettable day. The staff were very helpful leading up to our wedding and the venue is beautiful. Renee and Morgan are wonderful to work with. The reason, however, that I am only giving 4 stars is because there were a lot of changes to the venue that I was not notified about between booking and having our wedding and that you have to get all decorations out on the night-of. As an example of some changes, I had purchased supplies and made decorations for the chairs at our outdoor ceremony (which is what I was told I would have when I booked the venue), only to find out after I made a final trip to the venue, that they would not actually have chairs outside and that now they had benches, so my decorations would no longer work. It would have saved me time and money to know this ahead of time. Our caterer was also added to the list of approved caterers without any notification. Luckily my husband happened to be browsing the website to see the change, but otherwise we would have missed out on some great food! I was pretty flexible with the changes, since none of them really interfered with the look and feel of our event, it was just frustrating and wasted some of my time. It was stated in our contract that we had to have all of our decorations out of the venue on the night of the wedding, so we were prepared for that, however, I highly encourage them to change this policy. I had a wonderful wedding, but ended the night running around like a mad-woman making sure that all of my decorations and gifts were accounted for, since they all had to fit in cars and I wanted to get them all back. Most of my decorations were things I was going to use in our home afterwards, so I didn't want to lose them. Being able to leave them in the bridal house or something over night would have made the end of the night much less stressful.It's great that changes and improvements are constantly being made to make the property even nicer, but I think all changes, small or large, should be sent to all booked customers, due to the fact that those small changes can affect customers' plans for their event. Something like a monthly newsletter summarizing upcoming changes would be very helpful, so that customers expectations can match what they get when they arrive at The Landing.

Morgan was also extremely responsive to all our inquires throughout the planning process as well through phone and email. Our wedding day was perfect despite there having been a severe flood in the Burlington area just a few weeks prior. The outdoor ceremony location was still beautiful and exactly as I envisioned. Morgan worked really well with my wedding coordinator the day of, and Renee even came on site that day to ensure everything was going smoothly. All of our guests were stunned with the beauty of the venue. We recommend this beautiful venue to anyone who is looking for an upscale rustic elegant barn wedding!

They also provide beautiful tables, chairs, and antique furniture for you to use that fits in perfectly with the venue. The week of our wedding Wisconsin, and Burlington in particular, had historic rainfalls and massive flooding. This was days before our wedding and at the time no one was even sure if The Landing would have power or be accessible by our big day. Tim, Renee, Morgan, and everyone at The Landing did everything in their power to make our day a reality and to calm our nerves in the process. I could write an entire novel about the exceptional service they provided. Every person was so incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely invested in our big day. They truly cared about us and wanted to make our day perfect. This venue really went above and beyond for us and we will be eternally grateful to them for the kindness they showed us. If I could relive my wedding day I would chose The Landing over and over again and I would highly recommend them to every couple who is looking for an unforgettable day. My husband and I looked at the venue when there weren't any floors, nonetheless we saw Renee's vision and were able to see what an amazing job they had done with The Rustic Barn. Our wedding was a vision. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I was able to utilize Morgan as a great resource. She was helpful with the set up of the venue and was very organized. We had a large wedding and we have heard nothing but great things about our day. I was not an overly stressed bride and I truly attribute some of this to the attention to detail by the entire staff at The Landing 1841. We had our wedding here and it was a beautiful scene. Overall out wedding was amazing. But the staff and owner are very rude. To start it is very difficult to get ahold of them after you book your wedding. They are not accomodating for customers. They say one thing but do not follow through. First off Morgan the coordinator is very unorganized, she completely forgot about our meeting at the venue. Luckily Tim was there setting up. Then they took 60 dollars from our security deposit, 50 because we ran 15 minutes late for rehearsal and 10 for a towel that we never saw. My mom and mother in law during the rehearsal said to their wedding coordinator face to face that they would pay the $50 to stay later for our rehearsal which is stated in the contract. They said \" No I have plans.\" And we needed to vacate the premises. After we received our security deposit back and many attempts to contact someone, Morgan finally said that the reason they actually decided to deducted us was because we were disrespectful, well why wouldnt we be after you say in your contract that we will be deducted for time going over but yet we are not being allowed to stay to set up for the extra $50 and being watch/forcefully asked to leave because we are over our time. Renee also told us that we had a set time on sunday after our wedding to clean up. The day of our wedding they said \" ooo no you have to be out at eleven with your belongings.\" The owner cares more about money than customers happiness, she booked another wedding that sunday and everything of ours had to be cleaned up before we had to vacate the premises the night of our wedding. When your wedding day comes the wedding coordinator comes in with her friends to help clean up after guests but they stand at the end of the bar and stare at you and your guests during your wedding. They are very disrespectful!!! If you do choose to get married here read all the fine print and get everything they tell you in writing because their word means nothing. I am so happy that we chose The Landing for our wedding. My husband and I booked our date as the renovations on the property were just beginning. We trusted in Renee and Tim, and it was awesome following the transformation into such a beautiful venue. Renee and Morgan were helpful and flexible during our planning process. They are definitely experts at what they do. On the day of our wedding, Morgan went above and beyond to make sure that my vision was fulfilled. She was calming, caring, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Staff took us out to explore the property with our photographer on golf carts, which made for amazing photos. Staff was quick to clean up spilled drinks, and even helped box up the cake that our caterers forgot about. Our guests raved about how gorgeous the barn and property were. I was blown away by how genuine and helpful Morgan and Courtney were throughout our wedding day. I can not say enough good things!! Thank you so much for making our fairy tale wedding a reality!

I am so happy that we chose The Landing for our wedding. My husband and I booked our date as the renovations on the property were just beginning. We trusted in Renee and Tim, and it was awesome following the transformation into such a beautiful venue. Renee and Morgan were helpful and flexible during our planning process. They are definitely experts at what they do. On the day of our wedding, Morgan went above and beyond to make sure that my vision was fulfilled. She was calming, caring, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Staff took us out to explore the property with our photographer on golf carts, which made for amazing photos.
