Apple Blossom Resort is a one-of-a-kind luxury rental property featuring three homes and extensive outdoor space on a private 18-acre estate in SW Michigan’s idyllic Harbor Country, just 70 miles from Chicago. With sleeping accommodations for up to 48 guests and outdoor event space for up to 150 guests, Apple Blossom Resort is an inspired site for events that are fun, modern, and laid-back. The sprawling 8,000 sq ft estate was designed to accommodate private gatherings that feel intimate, relaxed, and elegant. Modern construction, thoughtful design, high-end amenities, and personalized touches ensure that our guests experience the comforts of home in a boutique setting nestled in the woods near Lake Michigan. The custom-built Main House features 7 spacious bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a sleek open concept chef’s kitchen/great room perfectly suited for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and day-after brunches. The Guest House provides an additional 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms that are ideal for guests who benefit from additional privacy. Combining rustic charm and contemporary design, The Cabin is a tucked-away sanctuary for the wedding couple. The property’s adaptable layout makes it an ideal home base for celebrations that unfold over several unforgettable days. Our unique location lends a secluded vibe to every occasion while being moments away from all that this special region has to offer. The estate is located moments away from Lake Michigan’s pristine beaches and the region’s beach communities along Red Arrow Highway. Union Pier is moments away and it is a short drive to family-friendly New Buffalo. Apple Blossom Resort is so beautiful and the perfect place to have a wedding! My husband and I got married here and wouldn't change a thing about it. Penny was so great at communicating with us and making sure that we had everything we needed in order to host a successful event. The property itself was very clean, had tons of activities, and made for an unforgettable weekend. Having a venue like this allows for maximum time with friends and family, which was our main goal. They also just added a walkway to the turf/tent area and a platform for the ceremony, making the space ever more functional. I will definitely be renting with Dwell Vacations again for family and friends weekends!

We hosted out wedding weekend at Apple Blossom Resort and it exceeded our expectations in every way. It is such a beautiful location and home and working with their staff was so easy. They were helpful in every way. I literally could not find one bad thing to say about the staff or property if I tried. HIGHLY recommend!

The perfect wedding weekend! Apple Blossom is a fantastic venue for a wedding and since we rented it for 4 nights it made our wedding even more special since we had more time with family and friends before the big day on Saturday! Highly recommended venue and would love to go back again!!

We hosted our weekend wedding celebration at the Apple Blossom. The property was perfect. Each home on the property was well appointed for our guests needs, ranging in age from young to old. And the property amenities were incredible - from the pool, to the basketball/tennis courts and ping pong table. The property itself provided a stunning location for our wedding celebration - with a gorgeous side yard for the ceremony, poolside champagne and appetizers which led into the tent for dinner and dancing, all surrounded by a backdrop of beautiful trees. And Lake Michigan is a short drive away to capture some additional photos on the beach. The service was seamless. Incredibly responsive and flexible as we planned throughout the Covid experience.Overall, highly recommend!!

I booked Apple Blossom for my 'Wedding Weekend' and honestly, I cannot put into words how amazing the weekend was. Leading up to the event, Penny, was fantastic about communicating and making sure I had all information about the property - they even have a wedding booklet that includes FAQs, Vendor Recommendations, and past Weddings to reference that was SO helpful. I planned the Wedding Weekend from a different state and she answered every question I had, was patient with me, and ensured every box was checked leading up to the weekend.All of the houses were modern, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. The light and airy feel both inside and outside made for BEAUTIFUL pictures. If any bride, couple, or family is looking to book this property, I would highly recommend as the property is not only amazing, but the booking process and Dwell Vacations Team is also amazing.Thank you for such a wonderful, memorable Wedding Weekend!

Apple blossom resort is a 5 star property, it’s beautiful! My daughter and her fiancé booked it for their wedding. The homes were modern, beautifully decorated, amenities galore. The rooms had comfortable beds, fluffy towels and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was a fully equipped with anything g a top chef would need! The grounds were landscaped beautifully, pool area although not open yet was very nice! Lots of room for friends and family! We absolutely loved our time at apple blossom. All out gusts had an amazing time and raves about the property! Don’t hesitate to book this for your event, you won’t be disappointed!

We hosted our wedding at Apple Blossom in the fall of 2021 and it could not have been a more perfect venue. We had our family and closest friends stay at the home and then invited a larger guest list to the wedding on Saturday. The home itself was immaculate and had everything needed for our stay. Plenty of kitchen equipment, towels, toiletries and even games and toys! If you're looking at Apple Blossom for your wedding or an event, I cannot recommend it enough. The Dwell team was incredibly responsive and helpful with planning. They even had a list of recommended vendors that we relied on heavily. Everyone that attended our wedding was in awe of the property and how beautiful the land surrounding the house is. It is also very conveniently located, super close to downtown New Buffalo while being private and tucked away. Choosing Apple Blossom was the BEST decision we could have made!!

We feel like luckiest couple to have been married at Apple Blossom Resort. We had a vision of having an intimate, small, family wedding where everyone could spend the entire weekend together in a location that was relatively easy to get to (from family both in-state and out-of-state), and provided us with an intimate but modern space. As soon we learned about Apple Blossom, we knew it was perfect! The venue provided us with the most beautiful, well-appointed accommodations for wedding guests to stay on property overnight, outdoor spots to spend time with one another poolside, gorgeous spots to get ready for the big day, an amazing lawn for a picturesque outdoor ceremony, astroturf for the tent, and amazing spaces to take photos both on property, and close by. We could not have asked for a better place to make our wedding so memorable. Our families keep asking us to have a reunion for our one-year anniversary just so we can all enjoy the space together again! Thank you, Meg and Jorge!

I could not have asked for a more perfect location for my wedding weekend - Apple Blossom was everything I had pictured my Wedding Reception to be & more. I stumbled upon this location looking for large houses to stay in the Union Pier area for our wedding weekend, what an AMAZING find. The property is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect place for our immediate family to stay for four nights. We took full advantage of the pool, tennis court, hot tubs, fire pits, & grill area. We had a slight hiccup on Friday morning with the plumbing but Meg & Jorge were ON IT- so responsive and immediately handled the issue AND they bought breakfast for our family in the main house because we couldn't use water. Apple Blossom felt like our home for the weekend & we HIGHLY recommend staying here. My husband and I have already talked about booking a Dwell Vacations property for our 1 YR celebration - we cannot wait to go back!

The Apple Blossom property is a hidden modern gem in Union Pier, near New Buffalo, MI. My husband and I booked the property for our small, intimate wedding and we could not have been happier with our choice. All guests who attended stayed on site – enjoying the beautiful bedrooms with on suite bathrooms (main house), gorgeous chefs kitchen, multiple fire pits, heated pool, hot tubs, tennis/basketball courts and beautiful surroundings (which made for beautiful pictures!). Jorge and Megan were not only helpful, friendly and professional from every point of contact during our initial outreach and property booking, they went above and beyond to ensure the property was taken care of for our stay. Their small personal touches made a big impact in a positive way. We highly recommend Apple Blossom and we are eager to explore the other Dwell Vacation properties!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Apple Blossom. It was a great setting for us to have our smaller wedding. We had a beautiful outdoor space for dinner, dancing, and drinks. Throughout our stay guests were able to enjoy the relaxing pool and hot tub, play tennis or basketball, and warm up by the fire pits at night. The rooms and common areas inside were also very well done, spacious and comfortable for everyone. Everyday was a fun and unique experience at Apple Blossom. Meg and Jorge thought of everything to make this location completely accommodating for a large group. Many of our guests tell us how much they miss being at Apple Blossom and want to go back!

This was, above and beyond, the most spectacular and memorable weekend my family has ever experienced. The Apple Blossom has it all..and then some! We rented the property for a 3-day family reunion/wedding celebration. All 30-35 houseguests staying on the property for the weekend were ‘over the moon’ with the immaculate facilities, not to mention the impeccable service-level from the property owners, Meg & Jorge. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more ideal setting to gather our friends and loved ones to celebrate this joyous occasion! I would recommend and strongly endorse this rental property for anyone who wishes to: 1. Host a memorable event that your guests will be talking about for years 2. Coordinate with property owners who are responsive, attentive, kind, helpful and genuinely delightful people 3. Look back at your decision to host at The Apple Blossom full of pride and sheer gratitude, as this will be the best decision you’ve made in years! Well done, Meg and Jorge!

Jorge & Meg (Owner) We purchased our first property in Harbor Country in 2008. Initially, it was our getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life in Chicago. After some time passed, we decided to open our home to renters. In 2010, we began buying homes, remodeling, and furnishing them to create exceptional vacation rentals. We currently own and manage 5 vacation rentals and in 2015 became full-time residents in beautiful SW Michigan.
