Great for lunch and dinner, so-so for a ceremony/reception event. We booked Aracely because we wanted a venue that was more all inclusive so we wouldn’t stress too much about planning and we chose a month of coordinator to help tie up loose ends closer to the date. As another reviewer mentioned, sometimes it took a few days for a response, which I get they can be busy but there were times we couldn’t move forward with planning because of delayed responses. Also when we checked out the venue, we were informed by Maria that the dance floor would be replaced… it was all warped and uneven. On our big day, the floor wasn’t replaced and we had multiple guests express safety concerns (some ladies wore stilettos too). It also just made the beautiful venue look unfinished with that flooring. We were also disappointed the Photo Booth prints. They weren’t working so no one was able to take home any photos for memories. The payment options for honeybook could’ve been more clear. You can pay by check, bank transfer, or honeybook. Other than the check, the other options have different fees, so we had to go back and forth on the contract at times. Other than that, the venue was cute and I like how they have both outdoor and indoor areas. Aracely did a great job with the linens we chose and the florals. We also brought lanterns which the crew did a great job setting up. The food and specialty cocktails were amazing. Weddings aren’t perfect, but we still had a great time. Reviewed on 26-10-2023

I set up time to tour this venue and received confirmation, but when we got there the woman I spoke with said it should have been canceled since it was Father's Day and they were so busy. I didn't make a fuss about it and she was nice enough to take us around for 2 minutes to view the spot, albeit she was rather hurried. Overall, this place is good if you are on a budget. The surrounding drive in TI is not great - it's pretty run down actually. The venue also shares a space with a community center so there was a church event happening. Obviously something that wouldn't take place during your event, but just something to be mindful of. The cafe does have a very cute garden vibe, but overall I was not impressed. Jessica Do(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2018 There wasn't much information about this place as a wedding venue when we were looking, so hopefully this offers some insight. Overall, I would recommend this venue only if you're on a budget as there are many reasonable catering and bar options, and they do a wonderful job with flowers for a great price. Also, we enjoyed working with Lety as our day of coordinator. However, many things went wrong during the wedding and the time leading up to it. Also, be aware there is no skyline view from the venue and actually lots of construction all around. The biggest issue we had was that there wasn't enough food for our guests. Many people had to share a piece of salmon while others didn't get any at all. To make matters worse, Linda claimed that there were additional guests beyond our original count and wanted to charge us MORE MONEY after the wedding. In reality, some people could not make it and there were less guests than we anticipated. Also, we were mysteriously charged $1000 for exceeding our bar tab towards the end of the night, when many guests had already left. We ended up paying the bar tab even though it was logically and mathematically unlikely, and although Linda kept fighting us about the extra guests, she eventually let it go. The other negatives were more minor and we could have been happy with the venue if not for the disingenuous business practices after our wedding. For example, we worked with Linda to plan our wedding and she is probably very busy, but it took her a week to respond to our emails. It was frustrating because we could not move forward with planning. Also, we thought the food tasting should be included in the price, but we had to pay for it. We could overlook that, but on the day of the tasting Linda called to say there had been a mix up in the kitchen and we would have to reschedule. My fiance and I had both taken time off work to get to Treasure Island early for this, so it was upsetting. This made us worry about the day of the wedding, and it seems as if our fears came true. We can't believe that as a restaurant, this venue could not handle something as basic as the food. Reviewed on 05-05-2019
Camille B(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-10-2018 I would absolutely recommend Aracely Cafe for your wedding reception. My husband and I knew this place was special when we first did a tour with Linda. I loved that it had both indoor and outdoor spaces, great food, and a friendly staff. We booked it right away as we could see it was popular with other couples touring. Linda was great to work with, answering our questions and helping us plan 1 year in advance. When it came closer to day of, my husband and I did a tasting. The tasting was so fun and we got to try all the great food and, yet again, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We opted to have Aracely help with flowers and coordination and I’m so glad we chose to do so. I essentially gave my pinterest board with inspiration and Linda and team absolutely NAILED it. One thing to note is Aracely’s location is a bit random in the back of Treasure Island and there is a lot of construction leading to it. We ended up giving instructions to the shuttles to go around the island vs through construction and guests didn’t even notice this small detail. Overall, guests raved about the wedding reception: a hidden gem on Treasure Island, a lovely outdoor cocktail hour in a garden, fantastic food and drinks, and a beautiful dinner and dancing space. I especially loved how intimate the space was as guests were able to come together and eat together family on long beautiful tables. After dinner, we had a great time dancing and served a pie bar provided by Aracely Cafe. Linda and her team even helped us set up a pinata which was a crowd favorite. If you’re looking for a spot with great food and a whimsical feel (regardless if it’s for a wedding or just brunch) Aracely Cafe is the place to go! Reviewed on 25-11-2018
Jackie Liu(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-10-2018 We looked around at a bunch of different venues for a couple months, but it was difficult to find a place we loved for our guest count of 200. When we found Aracely, we knew almost immediately that this was it—beautiful sunlit garden area, cute cafe space, and just a dream of a courtyard with flowing white curtains topped off with string-lit skylight dome. We loved that they were able to do the food, drinks, furnishings, and reception set-up, and coordination internally, which helped us out so much and saved us from too much planning craziness. Linda and her team are super professional, knowledgeable, and have a keen eye for design, and Tina, our day-of-coordinator, was extremely kind, patient, flexible, and just wonderful to work with. Even with the typical wedding day chaos, the Aracely team somehow rolled with the punches and made everything work out really well :) The kitchen staff and menu selection are ON POINT. All of our guests loved the dishes, appetizers, and drinks, as did we! Located in an old elementary school on treasure island, Aracely takes an old structure and turns it into something beautiful. Thank you Aracely for the kindness, the deliciousness, and the loveliness you gave to our special day! Reviewed on 14-11-2018
knottie90d74cb645b7ef4d (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-08-2018 Aracely Cafe was the first and only wedding venue we looked at. It’s a hidden gem, tucked away on Treasure Island. Right away, we fell in love with the place and its story.Aracely was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. We had a lovely outdoor ceremony in the garden patio, cocktail hour in the beautiful cafe, and a romantic reception under the tented courtyard with string lights. It was special to be able to take sunset photos at the Treasure Island marina just a few minutes away, with a breathtaking view of the San Francisco skyline. We also love the story of Aracely—it was previously an elementary school that was transformed into the most charming cafe and event space. It symbolizes new life, just as our love story does.It was a dream to have a one-stop shop for our wedding. Aracely is a restaurant, and they served a delicious dinner for our guests. The place already has amazing decor—draping, plants, floral walls, wood accents—so you don’t need to add much yourself. Aracely also did all our linens and florals, and provided lanterns and candles for an extra touch.Linda is a true visionary and was a joy to work with. She’s an expert event planner and designer, and she helped us every step of the way. She has such an amazing eye, which is evident when you see the venue, and her consultation on everything from decorations to programming was priceless. We loved our wedding at Aracely, and the best part is that we can always go back for a nice dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Reviewed on 11-06-2018
