Set deep inside the rolling hills of our pristine golf course, our Tudor Style Clubhouse will comfortably seat up to 300 guests for a dinner reception. Indoor & Outdoor options! Brookside Golf and Country Club is a private golf club and ballroom wedding venue located in Columbus, Ohio. This Tudor-style clubhouse creates a vintage atmosphere for your special day, giving you that classic club experience you’ve envisioned for your celebration. Everything from bridal showers to receptions can be hosted at this great venue. Brookside Golf and Country Club, serving the area since 1927! Facilities and Capacity This venue is able to accommodate extravagant events of up to 300 of your friends and family. Say “I do” underneath the shade of a towering tree as your family watches from the lush lawn. The main ballroom sports vaulted ceilings with decorative beams, rustic chandeliers and contemporary lighting design. Vast windows allow lots of natural light to illuminate the space and give you wonderful views of the outdoors as well. Our ballroom has been newly renovated, with updated lighting, customizable dance floor, while maintaining that classic and elegant feel. We do require that you use only our excellent food and beverages, with the exception of a wedding cake.

The wedding coordinator, Chris Ramsay was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was extremely organized and stayed in contact to help us throughout the entire planning process. They were flexible in letting us set up the ceremony and reception exactly how we wanted. The day of was completely flawless, everything ran smoothly and on schedule, they took care of all the little things to make sure I was worry free throughout the day, and the food was delicious! Multiple guests sought us out during the reception to tell us how good all the food was. The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was that the wedding party was not able to get or purchase liquor drinks from the bar while getting ready and even this was really only an inconvenience to one groomsman who cannot drink beer.Overall, our experience with Brookside and working with Chris was smooth and easy from start to finish!

We can't rave enough about how great the staff and service was, how beautiful the venue is and how delicious the food was! We postponed our wedding date twice due to the pandemic, and Brookside made each date change easy. Chris was so helpful with all of our questions leading up to the big day and coordinating things on the day of. We originally planned an outdoor ceremony, and it started raining as soon as guests arrived. Before you know it, everyone was seated and we were walking down the aisle inside, like it was always supposed to be that way. The transition was so smooth. All night we got compliments a out the food and waitstaff/bartenders. We will never forget the kindness and professionalism we experienced when planning our wedding. Thank you, Chris and team! Our long awaited day was exactly what we wanted.

We were married and had our reception at Brookside on June 23, 2018. Callan and her staff did an amazing job! We did have unfortunate news a few weeks before the wedding that the 'wedding tree' had fallen during a storm. This could have caused a lot of panic. However, Callan did a great job in showing us other options, other trees and locations that we could choose from and she said she and her staff would make it work. And they did! We ended up having our beautiful outdoors ceremony under a huge fully green tree within view/walking distance from the reception site. The day went without issue and everyone had a great time. Well worth every penny. The food was amazing, everyone loved it. I could go on and on, really. I actually also had my bridal shower at Brookside! Also, a great time! Thank you to Callan and all the Brookside staff!

I could not have asked for a better venue to have my wedding at! I use to waitress there and I was still blown away with the service, food and attention to detail. They were EXTREMELY accommodating to all my guests food allergies and even made a \"surprise guest\" a whole new meal!! Everything about my wedding was perfect and I would choose them all over again if I could!

My sister got married at Brookside 6 years ago, and it was so beautiful I knew I wanted to get married there too. My wedding was beautiful too, however my experience was MUCH different than hers. Keep in mind this is the SECOND wedding my family has held here. Things started out great. Our first letdown was that the guys weren't allowed to play golf on Friday because we are not members, unless we found a sponsor. Weddings are very expensive, the guys could have even paid a discounted rate? Not allowed at all -- seems pretty strict. I had debated getting ready at Brookside vs the house I grew up in, and was considering using the Bridal Suite so the guys and girls could get ready on the same site making it easier for the videographer and photographers. The Bridal suite is beautiful, but will cost you an additional fee ~$300 to use. Also, since we are not members, I was finally told the guys would be getting ready in the board room and have to use the BATHROOM, instead of the locker room. No thanks. We did use day of wedding coordinators and had done a mock set up. Callan was available for all of this, which was super helpful. I was a little disappointed when my wedding coordinator mentioned to me that they wanted to get to Brookside a little early to help set up, because they were told \"if there are wedding planners, I usually don't do .....(x,y,z).\" My wedding coordinators had to help with set up, which is advertised as \"included.\" \"Clean up\" is also included. more on that later. When we showed up for our reception, there were 2 golf carts waiting for us outside. That was convenient, however we were given zero direction or recommendations for where to go for pics. Sure, the photographers can come see the grounds beforehand, but not even a quick hello, congrats, and make sure to check out a,b,c on the course for a great pic! Our pics ARE great, because we had amazing photographers! We were finally able to join out guests for cocktail hour -- come to find out that my MOM was given a cocktail napkin for A DIFFERENT WEDDING! How embarrassing. You host your dream wedding at your dream venue and they hand out napkins from a different wedding? Dinner took a while to be served once salads were dropped. The wait staff and bar tenders were nice. The night seemed to be going well, until it was time to go.. Our parents and close family were still at the venue after we had left and were told the entire place needed cleaned up because they had a wedding the next day. (which no one had mentioned beforehand -- I would have kept the wedding coordinators there til the end of the night) So the parents, sister and family of the bride and groom spent their night CLEANING up the venue/decor with the staff.Obviously a conversation was had after all of this, in which my mom was told she \"should have left\" the decor for them to clean up -- which was clearly never an option the night of. They instead wanted to know the name of the staff who told them, as if my family maybe had misunderstood. If there was a misunderstanding and the staff noticed family helping -- they should have quickly stopped them and assured it was taken care of/included in the wedding. They barely apologized for the napkins and were arrogant and had really no suggestions on how they would make it right. I would NEVER recommend Brookside again to family and friends for a wedding, which is so unfortunate because the grounds are beautiful.

I am so so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Brookside! We had our wedding September 3, and Brookside was absolutely perfect. From the gorgeous outdoor ceremony space to the beautiful indoor reception space-everything was wonderful. Callan was AMAZING. She was so easy to work with and made planning and the day of so easy. At one point I was worried that I had forgot to have someone put up the little decorations I had and walked downstairs to find everything set up just the way I had imagined- and I hadn't even explained any of it to her! The food was fabulous. I could not imagine getting married anywhere else. Worth every single penny- I highly recommend.

Our day ran very smoothly and we were very happy with the food and set up of the reception hall and our ceremony space. We received lots of compliments on what a beautiful wedding and reception it was there and how nice all the staff were to our guests. Callan was a calming presence to work with and made sure to calm the nerves of some of the wedding party too. Overall, we are really glad we went with this venue because the experience was simply magical. :)

We absolutely loved having our reception at Brookside! Callan, the events coordinator, was incredible to work with every step of the way! She was wonderful at answering questions and responding to e-mails and made sure every last detail was planned perfectly. Brookside is a beautiful venue and the food and service were everything we could have hoped for. Our guests were in awe with how beautiful the reception was, from the outdoor cocktail hour on the patio to the reception in the ballroom. They recently remodeled the clubhouse and it is spectacular!

She was wonderful at answering questions and responding to e-mails and made sure every last detail was planned perfectly. Brookside is a beautiful venue and the food and service were everything we could have hoped for. Our guests were in awe with how beautiful the reception was, from the outdoor cocktail hour on the patio to the reception in the ballroom. They recently remodeled the clubhouse and it is spectacular!

We had our wedding here just a few weeks ago and loved it! From the moment we reached out to book a tour to the actual wedding, the service was wonderful and Callan was especially great to work with. She answered all of my questions and made it easy for me to plan my wedding from Texas. I love the outdoor setting for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I didn't feel the need to spend more money on flowers for an arch because the tree is so beautiful. The food was amazing (one of the many reasons we booked them in the first place!) and our guests complimented everything from the venue itself to the decor, food, drinks, and service. For all the brides out there: the bridal suite is beautiful! It was big enough for myself and 8 bridesmaids to hang out, and my photographer got some great shots in there. It also overlooks the ceremony site, so you can watch people arrive. :) Overall, wonderful experience, and a beautiful setting for our wedding. High recommend to brides in the area!

I was married there on May 27, 2017. It was amazing. Callan was wonderful and was always there to answer our questions. Rain was predicted the day of our wedding, and when it came to the rehearsal, Callan had it all figured out what would happen it if did rain that day. However, we lucked out and our day was perfect. Callan and the entire Brookside staff were amazing through the entire planning process. Though our ceremony venue was offsite, Brookside allowed the wedding party to get ready at Brookside all morning before the ceremony. The provided us with breakfast and lunch, as well as anything else we needed. The cocktail hour on the back patio was perfect as well as the reception in the grand ballroom. Everything was setup exactly how we wanted and the food was outstanding. Our guests kept telling us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I truly want to thank Callan and Brookside for all of their handwork. They made our wedding absolutely perfect and we are so lucky to have chosen them for our reception!

I got married at Brookside in June 2016 and they did everything possible to help make it the best day ever! We had a morning wedding with a breakfast buffet, everyone loved the food! We had our ceremony outside by the big tree and it was simply beautiful, you don't have to do any extra decorating out there for it to wow your guests. The grand room where the reception is held is a great space and the windows allow for beautiful natural light! The area they have upstairs for the bride and bridal party to get ready was more than enough space, it was great! Working with their event coordinator, Callan, was a breeze. She did everything she could to make everything go smoothly and help us keep costs within our budget. She's the best! Highly recommend having your wedding at Brookside!!

We had our ceremony outside by the big tree and it was simply beautiful, you don't have to do any extra decorating out there for it to wow your guests. The grand room where the reception is held is a great space and the windows allow for beautiful natural light! The area they have upstairs for the bride and bridal party to get ready was more than enough space, it was great! Working with their event coordinator, Callan, was a breeze. She did everything she could to make everything go smoothly and help us keep costs within our budget. She's the best! Highly recommend having your wedding at Brookside!!

Brookside was an absolutely beautiful place to have our reception. Even though it rained, we still had breathtaking scenery. It's every bride's worry that it will rain on her wedding day, but Brookside still didn't disappoint. Callan was utterly amazing. She really handled everything well. The staff was very courteous as well and we got tons of compliments on the food. My only critique is that my mother had put together a slide show for the father daughter dance, and while they knew about it ahead of time, the projector and computer were not set up properly and the USB wouldn't work until a program had been downloaded. Needless to say, it made for a bit of a disorganized mess until it was sorted out, but it finally was and the slide show was perfect.

The Brookside Golf and Country Club was the absolute perfect wedding venue! I can't say enough about the beauty of the venue. I didn't have to bring any additional decorations for my outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour because they take such good care of the grounds. Despite this minimalistic approach, we received many compliments on the venue's aesthetics.Callan went above and beyond to make our wedding day flawless. She was always extremely professional and responsive to all of my questions from our first interaction, to our decision to book the Brookside and throughout our wedding day. Callan was always very flexible with us regarding dates to tour the venue and conduct taste testing, which was hugely beneficial as we live out of state and could only be home a few times before the wedding. Callan's poise and experience during the entire process validates the cost of the venue by itself. She's an invaluable resource and Brookside management should be elated to have such a professional representing their venue.We also received so many compliments on the hors d'oeuvres and dinner; both of which were outstanding! It was served as delectable on the night of our dinner as it was at our taste-testing, marking a truly impressive staff considering the 150 person wedding.I can't say enough about how smoothly our wedding day went thanks to Callan and the entire Brookside staff. I would absolutely recommend the Brookside to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Not only are we incredibly satisfied with the venue and the staff, but we have heard nothing but compliments from our family and guests. Many have been raving that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that we found the most gorgeous venue! Callan is a rock star. Our guests really enjoyed the outdoor cocktail hour on the patio as well. We had Jason, the bartender, create two signature drinks (his and hers) and my guests just raved about how great they were! The ballroom looked perfect when we went inside for dinner. The staff set up everything exactly as we requested and really took the stress out of our big day. Dinner exceeded our expectations from start to finish and was served quickly and professionally. Our guests are still complimenting us on how much they enjoyed the meal. At the end of the night, the staff took care of all of the cleanup and we were able to enjoy the rest of the evening with our friends and family. Brookside really is full service! We recently received our pictures from the photographers and are still stunned by how beautifully the grounds at Brookside accented our wedding photos. We would highly recommend Brookside to anyone planning a wedding!

We initially picked Brookside because we fell in love with \"The Wedding Tree,\" two trees that have grown together into one giant, beautiful outdoor ceremony backdrop. (Gorgeous.) But it turns out that we got so much more than beautiful scenery for our wedding day! \r\rWe worked regularly with Brookside's event coordinator, Callan. She. Is. Amazing. She was always available to answer any of my (several) emailed questions—especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding (when I know she was super busy with several other Brookside events). She always made us feel like we were her only clients. Excellent, excellent customer service. \r\rI know a lot of venues will slap you with decor fees and \"we can't do that\" answers. Not Brookside. They will accommodate your vision (within reason of course) and I truly had the wedding and reception of my dreams! I was able to drop off specific setup instructions and Callan and the staff handled the rest. Set up AND tear down. There's not many places that will go to those lengths for you. We really appreciated that we didn't have to call in family to decorate the space. Everyone got to enjoy the day as a guest, not a decorator. Callan's eye for detail is also amazing. I trusted her to make the judgement calls on decor and arrangement—everything turned out absolutely perfect.\r\rEven with all of my decor needs and the iffy weather—Callan handled everything like a pro. Calm and collected the entire time with a \"We'll get it done\" attitude. She's an amazing planner and coordinator and I hope you're lucky enough to work with her.\r\rLastly, THE FOOD. We're still getting comments from our guests that the food was amazing. The catering is top notch at Brookside and everyone was raving about their meals! \r\rOverall, the venue is fairly priced. They're not trying to nickel and dime you for every last thing. The chef provided well executed and delicious menus for both our cocktail reception and dinner. We received many comments for our friends and family who were delighted with the menus, proclaiming them the \"best ever\" food at any wedding they had attended.\r\rThey recently added bridal suite in the women's locker room which is a useful, relaxing space for the party to prep in. It was nice to be in such a soft, luxurious feeling space before the ceremony. Additionally, the renovations/updates in the reception space are beautiful and highlighted an already lovely space which complemented both our wedding ceremony and reception. The grounds are also so well cared for and made a stunning backdrop in our wedding photos.\r\rThe event planner, Callan, was lovely to work with during the planning of our wedding.She provided lots of insight regarding logistics , helped with selections and provided superlative personal service during the event. We had our wedding here in May 2013 on a Sunday and loved it. It is a beautiful country club and also has great food! The girl in charge of catering was pretty helpful. There were a few things that I felt like she wasn't as great as she could have been but overall it was worth it and we had a beautiful wedding! My biggest complaint was they made it near impossible to get lunch on the day of my wedding and we had been there from 10 am until the wedding at 5:30. That was very frustrating and she also didn't put water in the vases on the tables so all the flowers were dying by 8pm which was not cool. The location is well worth it though.

Brookside is indeed beautiful and was great for pictures however the service was not very good. The wedding coordinator left 2 weeks before our wedding and it felt like our wedding fell apart from that point. There was a member's event in another room during our wedding and their guests were drunk, trying to come into our reception and a fire alarm was pulled during the reception. The entire staff had no idea what to do and gave us a deer in the headlights look while the fire alarm blared for over 15 min until the fire chief arrived. Lastly when we called Brookside after we got our bill with 20% tip already added (which was not made clear to us that they would automatically add) the GM was very rude to me as the bride and accused me that my guests were the problem and we just needed to pay the bill. Whatever happened to service after the sale? If you are going to use Brookside, hire a wedding planner that is a take charge kind of person!

Choosing Brookshire as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision we could have every made! Joy and her staff were such a delight to work with. They gave us the wedding of our dreams with a one stop shop. We came to Brookshire with a very tight budget. Originally we thought Brookshire would be outside our reach. I decided to contact them anyway and I'm so glad I did.\r\rFrom the moment we met, Joy welcomed us with warm arms. She never tried to hard sell her venue. It felt like working with a dear friend. We didn't feel pressured to sign a contact or increase our budget. Instead Joy simply listened to our vision and worked with our budget. She made several suggestions as to how we could achieve the wedding of our dreams.\r\rThe process to our wedding day was seamless. Joy did it all. Anything that I didn't think of, she did! On our wedding day I was so relaxed. Everything was put in place by the awesome staff. Our guests raved about the amazing atmosphere and experience. Brookshire is such a trendy venue with awesome decor. The food was absolutely delicious. Shirley (the florist) did such an amazing job for both our ceremony and reception. We enjoyed having an open bar all evening. We can't forget to mention Dj Mike. He rocked! He played all the right music and kept the dance floor packed.\r\rI'd recommend Brookshire to anyone! Though this venue was very high priced, it was worth every penny! Lauren was so good to work with because she listened to all our requests and figured out how to make everything work perfectly! The food was excellent and everything was beautiful!!

Only use them if you are going to have your reception here as well because if they book a second wedding the same day to take place after yours and they are using them as their reception you will come in second for all things. They will be taking pictures on the grounds during your wedding and it can be distracting. However, the grounds are beautiful and it was an amazing location for an outdoor wedding.

Brookside was an amazing location for our wedding, as well as our reception. From the day we came to look as Brookside, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The day of our wedding was sunny and 95+ degrees - Brookside took care of making sure our guests were shaded and had plenty of cold water to drink during the ceremony. We also received so many wonderful compliments on our food! The wait staff was also wonderful, so polite and helpful. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding!!!! I would recommend this vendor to anyone - especially those looking for an outdoor wedding.

Finding the perfect venue to hold my wedding reception was exceptionally important to me. When my parents and I walked into Brookside we knew we had found the perfect place! From the beautifully kept grounds, to the picturesque historic clubhouse, to the incredibly hospitable staff we could not have been happier with choosing Brookside as our reception venue! Lauren (the catering manager) was so patient and very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She was always available to answer our questions and provide valuable advice. \r When the day of the wedding came, I could not have been happier with how the reception went! Guests loved the happy hour out on the beautifully landscaped patio, and the rest of the evening in the reception hall was perfect. We stayed on schedule, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! Not to mention the numerous compliments we received from all of our guests, they just loved the venue! I would recommend Brookside to anyone looking for an absolutely beautiful venue to hold their special event.

Brookside is absolutely beautiful and the catering staff was great! I didnt have to worry about anything as they made sure everything was taken care of. And the food was amazing! We received so many compliments from guests.

Amy and Lauren were amazing when it came to helping me prepare for the big day. They paid attention to the details to make sure the wedding ceremony and reception went smoothly. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose Brookside, hands down.

Brookside (and their coordinator, Amy) were incredibly helpful as we were planning our reception. Always flexible and accomodating, and responsive without being pushy. Everything looked beautiful, the grounds were great for pictures, and Amy handled with ease all minor hiccups that came up on the day of the wedding (e.g., an unexpected guest!). Oh, and the food was delicious (really--I wish I could have taken the leftovers home!). Highly recommended!
