Carl House is a wedding venue located in Auburn, GA. This historic home is presented to prospective newlyweds as an elegant destination for wedding celebrations complete with beautiful grounds and a magnificent ballroom. There are ample beauty spots for wedding photographs, from the gazebo and pergola to a tranquil water feature and covered porches. Inside, guests can enjoy fine dining and a night of dancing amidst a backdrop of sophisticated romance. Soon-to-be-newlyweds have the choice of exchanging vows on the grounds or inside the stately house. Ceremonies take place in the private garden by a classic stone wall, nestled among lush gardens and greenery. During inclement weather, you can say “I do” in the grand ballroom. Receptions are held in this stunning ballroom, a 4,000-square-foot space that is characterized by lavish décor and a classic curved staircase. With a capacity for up to 250 guests, there is plenty of room to curate the day of your dreams at Carl House. A bridal suite and preparation rooms are made available for the duration of special celebrations. This is also an ideal spot for rehearsal dinners and engagement parties, so lovebirds can host their entire wedding journey in one picturesque place. Should you wish for a completely different design outlook for your pre-wedding party, the experienced personnel will strive to match your preferences. The in-house events team at Carl House is on hand to bring your dreams to life. The wedding director collaborates with couples to ensure that every detail is taken care of, to a high standard. Every aspect of your event is customized, from menu selections and design to the timing of your ceremony and reception. Premium on-site catering is provided and to-be-weds can liaise with the talented chefs to plan their menu. From buffets for 250 people to plated meals for 135, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. An exclusive in-house florist creates unique and memorable arrangements for all your botanical needs. Outside vendors are welcomed here for all other services. The team supplies refined mahogany Chiavari chairs for receptions as well as a selection of upscale linens. Other items such as candelabras, chalkboards, and signage are available for hire.

The Carl House staff was excellent from beginning to the end. The wedding planner, Nicole helped us every step of the way. The florist, Lindy did the floral arrangements. The floral arrangements were phenomenal. Our guest raved about the flowers. We highly recommend the Carl House for your wedding or next event. Our guest told us it was the best & funnest wedding they have ever been too, They Carl House was gorgeous inside & out. David went beyond his call of duty to make sure everyone was happy. From the very beginning our experience with The Carl House was amazing. The owner David took the time to get to know us and understand what was important to us personally and accommodated it perfectly. Every team member we spoke with was so sweet and willing to help with anything. The florist Lindy and her assistant Heidi were amazing, so talented and did all of our decor set up perfectly. Our wedding coordinator Nicole was a dream. So funny, sweet and good at what she does, she made sure we had no stresses at all and was there for anything we ever needed and always responded quickly. We had the best wedding day, and it was because of this amazing team and venue, we can’t recommend them enough.

Let me just say my experience with Carl House from start to finish was just AMAZING. I love how the Carl House does the Carl House Experience (CHE) for we could try different foods on the menu and meet a variety of wonderful vendors. During the CHE process my husband and I selected our menu and we got amazing review from all of our guest. A lot people found out they actually like Brussel sprouts. Here it is 2 months from the day of my wedding I am still craving the delicious food which says a lot about. Also, from the CHE, I was able to choose a make up artist, DJ, Car rental company, wedding cake person and lastly my flowers where amazingly arranged by the in-house florist. The one thing I love about the Carl House is that you get a lot for your money and you will not be disappointed. My day of coordinator Nicole was a God sent. Even through all the crazy and my indecisive self, she always provided me with truth on what works best for their venue, she also had everyone a schedule that flowed very well. Nicole made sure my husband and I were able to eat and were not disturbed for we can enjoy our first meal together, she also made sure I did not ruin my dress with food and provided me a long napkin to keep my dress clean. The in-house Florist Lindy was amazing. The talent she has is beyond measure. She will give you options for your budget and help you picture what you want then create it and exceed all my expectations. I have never seen such beautiful flower arrangements in my life. Overall between the access to great vendors, amazing food, excellent organization with the wedding process, and the amazing florist you can never go wrong with this venue. The bar was also amazing the champagne is amazing. Again Thank you Carl House ( Nicole, David, Kathy and the whole Carl House family)

I can’t say enough good things about The Carl House. From day 1 they’ve been incredible. Kim was so kind and welcoming showing us the grounds and around the house. We signed the contract the next day. From there on, everyone was amazing. Nicole - the wedding coordinator- is PHENOMENAL!! She is quick to respond and she is there for your every need. And she helps you make decisions if you’re feeling indecisive about something or unsure. She put me at ease so much through the whole process and on the day of the wedding. And the entire staff at the Carl House was amazing- Megan brought us drinks during pictures after the ceremony so our wedding party didn’t feel like they missed cocktail hour. The staff was helpful and smiling through it all. We used Lindy who is the in- house florist and she was amazing! She was so patient with us when we had a million questions and made my dream wedding look exactly the way I wanted. She did an incredible job and she was so sweet through everything. The Carl House made my dream wedding come true and I couldn’t be more grateful. They have great pricing for everything they offer and take care of. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and they were a huge help in that.Book the Carl House- you won’t regret it.

This venue was such a dream! Everyone was so amazing and kind! The biggest thing we looked for when visiting venues was to to be treated like people and not like a sale. That is exactly what we got with The Carl House! It started with Kim. Absolutely delight to work with and was so flexible especially since we only were having the reception there. Then we worked with Nicole as the wedding coordinator and let me tell you, she will fight for you. Their goal there is to make sure you have the day you want and they will do everything they can to make that happen! Also the food there is amazing! 12/10 would recommend! Every person I worked with made sure that we would have the day we wanted and not have to worry about a single thing. I was highly impressed and if you’re looking you need to go check them out.

My husband and I got married at the Carl House in June 2022 and could not have picked a better venue!! During the planning process, every decision was explained thoroughly and Nicole helped us make informed decisions. Speaking of Nicole, I would give anything for this woman!! She thought of and handled every minute detail with ease. Even my bridal party and wedding guests were talking about how amazing Nicole was. The pricing is fair and includes a lot of expensive things that you would normally have to outsource, including catering. The food was amazing and had guests raving all night. I honestly can't recommend Carl House more!!

Carl House did an excellent job with our vow renewal and reception. From the business side to wedding coordinator, to the day of, the leadership and staff exceeded our expectations!! Nicole, the coordinator and Lindy, in house florist were efficient, timely and provided great customer service. ALL our guests were pleased and provided positive feedback about their experience. I would recommend Carl House for your wedding, or any other event, large or small. Thank you Carl House for the wedding of our dreams!!

*EDIT I updated this review from 2 stars to 1 star. I found out from my father, that at the end of the night, the owner (David) was bringing people up to my father telling my father how much to tip them. For example, introducing the dishwasher to my father saying my father was tipping him $100 when my father never said such a thing. It was so unbelievably tacky especially when my father was tipping each individual how he saw fit BUT ALSO our package gratuity was included. Please read below at how unaccommodating & disorganized they were.**This venue is beautiful with its gardens & historical house; however, if you are looking for a venue that is accommodating and organized this is NOT the place. This venue contribute the most and only source of stress to my wedding planning.The wedding director, Nicole, does not work there full time so her schedule is not very flexible with meeting and she has a constant negative attitude. Every response is very crass. I had to hire an outside coordinator and manage this venue as if they were a client. Every meeting was starting from square 1 of details and what we went over prior. There is NO inside communication so their staff does not know what’s happening. Despite going over things our food was wrong day of and they sent us a lovely gift with our last name spelled wrong… just shows the lack of attention to detail and organization.We were also from out of state and upfront said the things we wanted to do at our wedding…we got the thumbs up for them to only say no or make it very difficult and stressful later.Lindy their in house florist is amazing! Her flowers were stunning and affordable. She was a pleasure to work with.If you choose this venue know that anything custom they do not accommodate, when you bring in a cake (they don’t offer making it in house) you are not allowed to store it in their fridge, you will need your own coordinator to help setup/clean up as well as keep things in order.They also include in their paperwork that the nearby hotels offer a shuttle to their location, but that is outdated because they no longer do. Also, uber does not pickup from here because of its location.

We booked this venue for an early 2021 wedding. When the time was getting closer and the covid caseload was still so high, they were willing to hold our plans for a year. No re-doing, no re-signing, just a small change fee and we were good to go. The coordinator Nicole is an absolute godsend and took care of every detail, including making sure we had drinks and food in the bridal party suites prior to the event. Phenomenal option for an one-stop venue - they have decor, catering, and florals on-site with options to take care of favors as well, and their list of recommended vendors is deep. There's no problem with bringing in your own vendors for anything else, either, which is not always the case. Their catering and floral teams are the real deal - honestly no reason to look elsewhere. It's a great price for a great product. Not far from Atlanta with easy access from I-85, and SO SO SO many fantastic locations for photos both inside and out. At this point my husband and I basically planned three weddings to get pandemic married, but if we had to go for a fourth round, it would be at The Carl House.

My husband and I attended a wedding at the Carl House a few years ago, and we always knew we wanted our wedding to be there. It could not have been a more perfect decision to have our wedding at the Carl House. Not only was I planning my wedding in a pandemic, but I also live out of state, which adds an extra layer of stress. Nicole, Lindy and Brianna were all so helpful and flexible helping me with all the details remotely. The day of the wedding was OUTSTANDING. I could not have made it through the day without Nicole's guidance. Lindy helped bring my decor and floral dreams come true, and it was even beyond what I dreamed. We were so impressed by everything- the food, the florals, the decor, the coordination. Anyone who does not choose Carl House for their wedding is seriously missing out!

David, Nicole, Lindy, Debbie and their team have been great. All the guests loved the venue, the food, and had a great time.We chose Carl House partially because all corners of the house are picture perfect. From the rooms that we’re getting ready in, to the bathrooms and of course reception area and the entire backyard full of flowers and with fountains and a gorgeous gazebo.They also have an in-house chef who has a great menu, the drink selection was good as well.Nicole was wonderful to keep things moving and stay on schedule as much as possible.They also have an in-house decorator who can make any dream vision come true with flowers and linens.We also appreciated the staff that brings food and drinks during the first look photos to us to make sure we still eat and can enjoy their appetizer.We really appreciated David’s help throughout the planning stages.Carl is a quiet place between Winder and Lawrenceville and was easy to find for all of our guests.I would definitely recommend Carl House for your future event.

The Carl House was everything I dreamed of and more. When we first started looking, I had never even heard of The Carl House. I saw some pictures online and decided to check it out. When we got there, we both fell in love. We loved how simple The Carl House made it. Everything was laid out right in front of us. The only thing we needed to worry about was photography, videography, cake and the DJ.Nicole was also AMAZING. She made sure all of my questions were answered and helped everything go so smooth. My bridesmaids and groomsman especially loved her ability to always keep a drink in their hands whether before the ceremony or during pictures. I could not imagine our big day with out her!Finally, Lindy, the in house florist was amazing as well. I brought in a lot of my own decorations but she helped with florals and making sure my vision came to life.If you're looking for a venue, I highly recommend The Carl House.

We had our wedding here on April 23rd 2021 and it was absolutely amazing. It was everything I dreamed of. Nicole was our wedding planner who is hands down the best. She made sure everything was perfect, helped us put things together and even was there for me emotionally was I was panicking to make sure everything was just right. The staff was friendly and inviting. It's been three weeks later and everyone is still talking about our wedding and how amazing the food was. All I can say is I totally recommend carl house

Disappointed and deceived would be the two words we would use to describe our wedding experience with The Carl House. Our review was too long to post, but we recommend checking out our review on Google which includes a picture of our full review. In short, The Carl House did not deliver on the product that was agreed upon. They cut out numerous parts of our wedding and amenities and made our experience extremely stressful and upsetting. It has been almost a month since our wedding day and we still find ourselves extremely bothered over what occurred. From shortening our event the day of, to not providing the signature drinks, outdoor heaters, valet parking, and the list goes on, we felt we were taken advantage of. Oh and one more thing. Due to Covid, our numbers had shrunk considerably. Because of this, David, the owner, told us that because we were saving money by having smaller attendance, we should have no issue paying extra for the things we were previously promised! We couldn't believe it! Customer service and integrity are dead. For the record, we did attempt to reach out David at the Carl House by phone and email and received no response. We were left with no other option than to share our poor experience here so others can be aware.We do not recommend

The Carl House and staff was an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. Nicole, the in house planner, made my every vision come true. I was able to be completely hands off during my big day and she took care of everything. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. She always made sure myself and the wedding party had drinks in hand. This was especially appreciated after the ceremony and before pictures. She handled the coordination with my outside vendors (which was only photography, DJ, and officiant - Carl House has in house staff for just about everything else). The food was exquisite. I was an absolute mess planning my wedding amidst Covid but Nicole and the team made me feel completely at ease. My day was absolutely perfect! The only thing I would have changed was adding extra time to my reception!

I got married at The Carl House in March of 2020 right before Covid shut everything down. Indira was my day of coordinator and she made my wedding day flow with so much ease and perfection. Indira made sure that everything I wanted happened, and that all of my vendors were following expectations to execute the day wonderfully. I didn’t have to make a single decision or think about anything, because it had already been handled by numerous Carl House employees. They work as a team to truly get the best job done. The owner is apart of every wedding making sure that everything runs smoothly and that the bride and groom are truly happy. This venue has a family vibe, and I would get married here over and over again from the love and support they provide their couples.

If you are even considering Carl house look no more. The moment I saw this place just driving by I knew that’s where I wanted to get married, and I hadn’t even met my husband yet. This was the only place we looked at and I was so happy he loved it as much as I did. Carl house truly goes above and beyond to make your dreams come true. Their team is unlike any other. They have everything you need, and will do anything to keep the stress of wedding planning at a minimum for you. The food was phenomenal, though I didn’t get to try the queso dip I hear it was good as well lol. Nicole was a dream come true. She truly was someone I didn’t know I needed. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls even with a busy schedule, she made you feel like her only priority. It was never an issue when I changed the ceremony from outside to inside just days before our wedding due to weather. The day of Nicole truly made the stress go away by about 80% lol. But in that moment where is was just me, and I was about to walk down the stairs to my husband, I thought for sure I would burst into tears at any moment but she helped me through it, however there were still a few. Honestly the whole team just made my dreams come true. It was the best day of my life, there is nothing I would’ve changed. It was absolutely perfect in every way.

I got married this past August at the Carl House! The venue is absolutely stunning. Everyone is super easy to work with. They are typically easy to get in contact with. The florals and the food from the venue are amazing! They can accommodate indoor or outdoor weddings. There are beautiful places to take pictures inside and outside of the house! They had plenty of parking and their location is easy to find. I highly recommend!

I can not thank The Carl House enough for making our day run so smoothly. Everything from the moment my girls and I arrived was just perfect. I was so nervous, I could barely sit down, so I kept trying to keep myself busy with setting up and decorating while my girls were getting their hair and makeup done, but it was all taken care of! Nicole was amazing at herding our crew around and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and when. My new Mother In Law had to take someone back to the hotel shortly after the reception due to illness, so she missed dinner. They made sure to have plates prepared and warm for her when she got back to the reception. They were so amazing, and so good at what they do, they make it seem flawless!Thank you again to the Carl House team and especially Nicole who I would not have been able to make it through the day with out (thanks for the Champagne to help with the jitters)

When I began looking for a wedding venue, I saw what felt like every type of venue possible before my visit to the Carl House, yet when my mother and I pulled into the driveway the first time, I immediately knew The Carl House was the one. One of the best things about the Carl House is that so much of the major things you need - catering, florist, day-of coordinator, décor - are built into the package cost. As an out of town bride (I live in DC and got married in GA), that aspect of Carl House was a life saver. Everything was phenomenal. The food was good, the flowers and décor were beautiful and exactly what I wanted (thank you, Lindy!), and it was all packaged perfectly in to the southern-style, estate home feel I so desired. Carl House management has thought of everything a bride and groom might desire for their wedding, including two fun photo booths (highly recommend!) and elegantly decorated respective bride and groom suites for getting ready/dressed. The staff was amazing also. Before the ceremony began, the staff took the beverage orders of the wedding party/family and had drinks ready and waiting for us after the ceremony and then passed hors d'oeuvres to us while we took pictures during cocktail hour so we didn't have to miss a moment of our day and all that we planned for. It was truly the perfect touch of added service that puts Carl House above other venues. To top it all off, Nicole, the day-of coordinator, is excellent at her job and helped keep the entire day and evening flowing smoothly. I was SO glad to have her overseeing the entire event because it took a huge weight off my and my family's shoulders knowing we had someone we could trust. I could not be happier with selecting the Carl House as my wedding venue and highly recommend their services.

My husband and I got married September 2019 and words cannot describe how amazing the Carl House was. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but everything ran SO smoothly thanks to the owner and staff of the venue. The wedding coordinator, Nicole, was so accommodating with all of our wishes. The staff was incredible, making sure we had appetizers and drinks all during the cocktail hour while we were taking pictures. We felt like royalty, as did our guests and bridal party. The staff was so helpful with my family at the end of the night and packed their car with all of the decorations and flowers. And Lindy, the Carl House florist, was AMAZING!! Oh my goodness, I was speechless with her work and it was worth every penny. The venue exceeded our expectations beyond belief. We could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding! Thank you so much Carl House for the best day of our lives.

I can’t begin to say enough good things about the Carl House. It was the perfect wedding venue for our wedding. The house is beautiful, but the grounds are exquisite. If you drive by, you may think the location detracts from the venue; however, once you drive through the gates, you’re transported. The grounds are intimate, quiet and much more expansive than you would think just from viewing the house from the road. The entire property makes for gorgeous pictures from every angle.But Carl House is more than just a pretty location. It’s a business that is ready to make your wedding perfect. The event team is absolutely incredible. You get a dedicated wedding director, who will walk you through every fine detail of your day. I also recommend using their onsite florist, Lindy — her ideas and creations will stun you. Then they have an incredibly service-oriented wait staff that will make a delicious meal to impress your guests. No one will leave hungry, that’s for certain.So with all of this talent, you’d expect to deal with some attitude, right? Not here. I’m actually sad the wedding planning is over because I’ll miss everyone we interacted with. Everyone was so incredibly friendly, to the point it felt like I was planning my wedding with my best friends. At every turn, they wanted to make sure we were happy with how things were shaping up and would bend over backwards to make it work. And that’s with them running several events each week! I just can’t get over how well they treated us, which is why I recommend this venue over others.I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention that my wedding was a same-sex wedding. Honestly, we were a little nervous about getting married in a small town and that the staff might be a little cold. As I have hopefully conveyed, none of that was the case. They were thrilled to plan our wedding and at no point did we feel uncomfortable.Carl House also works with many vendors, like photographers and DJs, that they can connect you with if you need. We needed to find a DJ last minute, and our wedding director, Nicole, connected us with a DJ service that really made our event come to life.On the day of the wedding, they have timing down to a science. While Nicole was our wedding director through the planning process (and she’s amazing), she actually had a wedding to attend the day-of ours, so she wasn’t present. Indira was our back-up wedding planner. We literally met her the night before at our rehearsal, and as expected in the same vein as everything else, she was like a longtime friend helping us put on the finishing touches. She knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted the day to go. On the day-of, she kept everything on time with perfect direction but at all times making sure we were ready to proceed — it was our day from the first moment. She was integral in making sure it worked perfectly. I know there are great venues everywhere. But the value for the price we paid, the service we received, and the perfect wedding we had, I have to attribute most of that to the Carl House. I honestly couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else, and I highly recommend it to you for your special day.

Overview: Carl House is a full service, beautiful venue inside & out. They provide bar service, food/catering, waiters, and a coordinator in their package. They also have a florist (Lindy) that you can hire. They also have a list of suggested vendors for all your other needs.Coordinator: We worked with Nicole and loved her! She is very experienced, will work with you to make sure your big day is how you imagined, and makes sure you have plenty of food! Most importantly it felt like she was on our side. In the months before the wedding, her organization and communication made you feel like she had everything under control. Day of, she was actively managing vendors, setup, and timelines, so we could focus on enjoying the big day! Food/Drink: We went with the beef and chicken, roasted potatoes, and veggies for our menu. The food was delicious and they were willing to work with us to accommodate the gluten & dairy allergies we have in our families. We were very pleased with our dinner.Florist: Lindy is their florist and was well worth hiring! I couldn’t believe how beautiful my bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, and table centerpieces turned out. She over-delivered in comparison to what I thought the flowers would look like. Venue/Grounds: BEAUTIFUL! Old historic home that is gorgeous! The grounds have grassy areas, flowers, trees, gazebo, and more.

The Carl House is the perfect place for a wedding/reception. We were hoping for an outside wedding but December 8th turned out to be a horrible day with rain and low temperatures all day. Was this a problem for the Carl House people? Not at all. We had the wedding inside, and while appetizers were being served during the next 40+ minutes, the wedding ceremony room was magically transformed into a dinner/reception room. The food was absolutely delicious, and our wedding coordinator from the Carl House, Nicole, handled every little detail perfectly from start to finish. I can't give Nicole enough accolades. I could go on and on about how wonderful this venue is for a wedding, but I don't want to be repetitive. We used the Carl House florist, Lindy, for the flowers and they were over the top. This is a venue where the staff takes care of everything, and when the wedding day rolls around, you don't have to worry about one little thing. Thanks David and the Carl House staff.

I think the staff is what sets this venue apart from the others. They were all so friendly and no matter who I had to speak to, they were helpful and really seemed to love their jobs which makes such a big difference. I can't even describe how amazing our flowers were. The on-site florist (Lindy) is just a genius! I basically just gave her colors and some flowers I liked, and she managed to create the most beautiful bouquets and decor. I am STILL (almost 2 months later) getting complements on our flowers!

I want to start by saying that the staff is amazing and every part of the venue is picture worthy, inside and out!When we first walked in to look at the Carl House we were welcomed very well and Debbie did an amazing job going through all the details with us. We had a Romanian wedding and it was different than what the Carl House staff is used to but they went above and beyond to suit it to our needs. The part that impressed me the most is that on the wedding day we had Nicole and even the owner making sure that everything was going good the entire time. Also Nicole did an amazing job as our wedding planner. We are very happy that we chose to do our wedding at the Carl House and would like to thank Nicole, Linda and Debbie for all their help.I would highly recommend using Carl House as your wedding venue because the place is beautiful, the staff is amazing and you will not find a better place for their price.

When we booked our wedding at Carl House, we had 17 months to wait. Carl House was the only venue we visited. The beauty of Carl House captivated us immediately. Not enough words to describe the beauty of the house. The staff was amazing. From Debbie with the tour and booking process. All of our questions were answered immediately. She was so easy to work with. Nicole, the wedding planner, was fantastic. She took care of everything. I had no idea where to begin to start with planning a wedding. Nicole and her team took care of everything. Anytime I emailed Nicole, she responded immediately. She took care of all my needs and requests. She made the process so painless and enjoyable. Lindy from floral took my breath away with my bouquet. It was the most beautiful bouquet ever. She way exceeded all of my expectations. All of the decorations were breathtaking. The food, most important, was delicious. Everything from the appetizers, sides, and main dishes- I highly recommend the pecan crusted chicken and gouda mac!!! Indera the day of was amazing. She made sure all of mine and Nick's needs were met. Carl House staff and team were so amazing. All of our requests were met immediately, no questions asked. Sherrie, the bridal party host, really made our night. She made sure us and all of our wedding party did not go hungry or thirsty. Overall, Carl House went above and beyond and exceeded every aspect of our wedding night. We had such a magical night and loved every second. We are so thankful for every person who made our night so magical.

The fact that floral, decor and food are done in house eliminated so much stress. And all three were done amazingly! They put so much thought and time and attention into everything they do that I got to relax with the knowledge that it was handled. Love Carl House!! All that being said, I couldn't have made it through without Atlanta's best wedding coordinator by my side... Nicole is the most perfect and wonderful person. She is amazing!! The facility & food were amazing. Honestly my only issue was with my wedding planner. Unfortunately my wedding was EXTREMELY rushed even though we went over a time line before hand. When I arrived on the wedding day I could not find my planner & the whole day was thrown off causing everything to be extremely rushed. I didn't even have time to get pictures with my parents, inlaws or the groomsmen. That was very upsetting for me because I will never get that time back. I would definitely have someone else in charge to run the show.

The Carl House staff made our wedding day more perfect than we could have imagined. We cannot say enough great things about Nicole, Breanna, Lindy, and the rest of the staff at Carl House. They went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be and more. Nicole was hands-down the best wedding coordinator and made our wedding as great as it was. Honestly, don't know what we would have done without her. She ran our wedding smoothly and efficiently and was there for anything we needed or wanted on our wedding day (she even offered me her own shoes when I changed my mind about my shoes on the day of). She kept me sane throughout the process and always had a smile on her face. So thankful! They have beautiful places for pictures all around outside which was one of our favorite parts. Breanna planned our rehearsal dinner and was such a pleasure to work with as well! She was quick to respond and so sweet always. Lindy is the in-house florist and she was also incredible. She was flexible, willing to work with us, and made our floral vision a reality. It was so nice to have everything at one place rather than having to coordinate set-up and take down of things on our own. If we could do it again, we would use the Carl House team over and over! Thanks for the dream wedding guys!!

We loved just how beautiful the ceremony site is at Carl House. It is an indoor/outdoor venue, so they are very flexible if you change your mind last minute if it rains. The only problem we had was that they were slow to return phone calls and the paperwork. The service provided on wedding day was phenomenal. Both wedding directors were actively making sure that everything went smoothly and made sure that my husband and I had everything that we needed. The owner is also very nice and accommodating.

Nicole (Coordinator) and all of the Carl House staff were wonderful! All of our expectations were more than met. The night went so smoothly and the food was wonderful! Our guests (~80) were blown away by the venue. The venue is beautiful and unique! Nicole responded promptly with any questions we had during planning and assisted so much with choosing a DJ and photographer since we planned our wedding in about 100 days. DJ Louie Productions did a fabulous job with the music and MC'ing and coordinated the photographer as well!The gardens and grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for our outside ceremony and photos. The Carl House Florist, Lindy, did an unbelievable job with the flowers and was VERY reasonably priced. The staff always did all they could to personalize anything we needed for our day. I would highly recommend The Carl House. It truly is a wonderful experience.

My husband and I were married at the Carl House mid-April, and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding! The in-house florist, Lindy, created floral arrangements that were even more beautiful than the pictures I showed her, and the house was decorated in a way that completely surpassed my expectations! Our food for the evening was delicious – apple cider pork loin, squash casserole, and sweet potato soufflé. We worked with our wedding coordinator, Nicole, from the time we booked the Carl House up until our wedding day to make sure we were able to have our dream wedding. She worked constantly to make sure our entire evening went smoothly and was as stress-free as possible, and it absolutely was! We were told numerous times throughout the night that we “really raised the bar for weddings” and that it was “the best wedding they’ve ever been to,” so if you’re looking for a venue for your big day there is not a better place than the Carl House!!

We can’t say enough about the Carl House and how amazing our experience was. From the moment we toured the venue to the time we left the venue after our wedding day we have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Nicole was so great and she keep me (the bride) calm when I was having my moments. She assured me that everything was going to be great and it was. Our wedding was originally planned to be an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Due to consistent rain and stores the day of our wedding the ceremony had to be moved inside. I was not happy about having it inside at first but Nicole assured me that they would make it beautiful and it truly was. She was so professional and is so great at her job. I would recommend the Carl House to everyone looking for a great wedding venue. They really took great care of our wedding party the day of the wedding. The entire staff was very professional and it just made our wedding day 1000% times better than we had imagined. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.

Our wedding at the Carl House was practically perfect in every way! It is an absolutely beautiful house with gorgeous grounds. We held our ceremony outside, and it ended up being the most beautiful day. There was a cherry tree blooming in front of the house that looked so beautiful in all the pictures and matched our color scheme perfectly! The food was so delicious, and they made sure that we had time to sit down and eat everything we wanted to. They even brought out the food to us during cocktail hour when we were taking pictures. Nicole worked tirelessly leading up to the wedding and on the day of to make sure everything went perfectly and to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue or an easier planning process, I highly recommend this place!

The Carl house is so beautiful, it's in an excellent location, and the grand stair case is to die for... but that isn't even the best part (hard to believe it gets better than that.. I know). The best part is Nicole, and the staff!! Anything we needed or wanted at ANYTIME was immediately taken care of. Nicole was the most amazing wedding director probably EVER! Not only was she so kind and thoughtful, but she also made sure my wedding went smoothly! I was nervous until my rehersal (because who getting married isn't), at my rehersal Nicole was in wedding mode! Everyone in the wedding party knew their exact roles and exactly how to do it. Then on the wedding day she helped each and every one of us through the entire thing. She was AMAZING! And the staff was also very attentive and you could tell everyone there loved their jobs and really wanted my husband and I to have the best wedding ever, and we did!!! I will be reccomonding the Carl House (Nicole) to every engaged couple I come across!!! There are not enough word to express my amazement and gratitude to the Carl House and Nicole!! My only small suggestion would be to allow the bridal party to enter the bridal sweet more than an hour and a half before the wedding because it takes a long time to get ready. Everyone at Carl House were super professional starting with the sweet receptionist that answers the phone. I live out of the country so my main contact was email and everyone answered my millions of questions politely and quickly. On my wedding day Nicole made sure that everything was handled perfectly and that my wedding party and I were taken care of. Also, Linda worked with my small budget and made my floral arrangements more beautiful than I had imagined. It was a remarkable day and almost all my guests made comments about how much they loved the venue.

I highly recommend choosing the Carl House for your wedding venue. Not only is the property absolutely beautiful on it's own, but the Carl House team is what make the Carl House worth every penny(and we found affordable too). I fell in love with the property of the Carl House in the beginning loving that you could have both ceremony and reception in one place. What I later found out was that the Carl House has their own wedding director, on site florist, and on site catering. I cannot even begin to explain all that the wedding director, Nicole Benson, did to make our wedding run smoothly. Not only did we get to meet with her several times before the big day to verify all details and schedule were exactly how we wanted them, but the day of our wedding went flawlessly thanks to Nicole. I don't know how she does it, but if you turned around in need, there was Nicole. She was amazing! The Carl House also has their own on-site florist, Lindy DeMarco. She met with us prior to the wedding and emailed back and forth answering my questions and when wedding day arrived, my flowers were EXACTLY the vision I had in my head. Absolutely stunning! She did bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, a large centerpiece for ceremony, and helped with all décor. We arranged to have Lindy and her team set up all décor for the tables and reception area and she delivered beautifully. The food was wonderful. I had folks asking us who the catering company was so they could use them for their events after the wedding! The Carl House team thought of it all- down to serving cups of water at the ceremony to our guests since it was hot while waiting. I am so thankful we chose the Carl House for our fairy tale wedding and would highly recommend them for your wedding! My husband and I chose the Carl House for our wedding venue for a couple of reasons. For starters, I grew up in the area, and passed the Carl House every day of my life on the way to and from school, and I always thought it was so beautiful. Then, after we toured this historic house, we knew it was the one for us. I love history and all things old and beautiful, and my husband loves the outdoors and natural things. So between the antique nature of the inside, plus the outdoor ceremony site and the gardens, this place was perfect. From the start, we knew we had made the right decision. We were so lucky to have Nicole as our wedding coordinator, and she truly made the wedding planning experience so much easier and enjoyable as she was always there to answer my many many questions. The day of could not have been more smooth thanks to Nicole and her team, and the directions she gave. Speaking of the team, I was just beyond blown away by the service of the Carl House. Every one of the workers there had smiles on their faces and they served our wedding guests to the fullest. During dinner they walked around and took our guests dishes when they were finished, and they went above and beyond to pass out our cupcakes (we allowed each of our guests to choose their own cupcakes, so it was more difficult for them to be passed out). There was even someone standing outside by the ceremony site passing out water to our guests who arrived early! Amazing! The food was even better than it smelled too! We chose the pasta bar because I love pasta so much, and we were not disappointed! Those meatballs were the best I've ever had, and my husband loved the pesto sauce. There is always this joke that you will not eat at your own wedding because there is no time, but Nicole was not having that. She made sure that we were able to sit down and actually eat the delicious food that we chose. I think I could write a book about our wedding experience and how amazing that it was! It has been a couple weeks since our big day, and we still have guests telling us how amazing that our wedding was, and we have the Carl House to thank for that! If you are looking for a gorgeous, one stop, easy venue that is affordable and comes with everything you need (which REALLY makes the wedding planning so much more stress free) then look no further than the Carl House!

Nicole the Wedding Director was super helpful throughout giving us great advice on vendors, suggestions on where to take pictures, etc. She was always super responsive and having both the 90 Day and 30 Day meeting to plan things out was very helpful (most venues just do it 3 weeks out).It is just such a lovely venue. Our family and friends loved it! The ballroom is incredible and one of the only venues we found that had enough room to have a 180 person wedding where people didn't feel cramped. We highly recommend it!

The moment I first stepped into the Carl House, I knew it was the place where I wanted to get married. When my husband and I were first looking for a venue for our wedding, we were set on going to another place UNTIL we visited the Carl House. We were blown away by their customer service, and we knew that this was where we wanted to have our reception.Our wedding director, Nicole, was a life savor! She was easy to talk to and made the whole wedding process stress free. I have really bad anxiety and with planning a wedding I found myself in tears often. However, the one thing I did not have to worry about was the venue. Nicole assured me that everything was taken care of and she was in constant contact whenever I needed her. The day of the wedding was beyond perfect! Many of my guest who traveled from all parts of the U.S. kept talking about how beautiful the Carl House was. My family from up north even wished they had a place similar to the Carl House to host their events. Between the venue, food, service, photographer (Stevi Clack) and DJ (Daniel Espeute) this was a wedding never to forget!

I recently got married at the Carl House for a Christmas wedding on 12.10.16. I love their magnificent Christmas tree which really set the tone for our wedding. I loved that we were able to have several meetings leading up to the wedding with Nicole regarding the specifics of our wedding and to be able to actually see the venue multiple times as things start to come together in the planning process. Ultimately the PROS are that the venue is gorgeous, the acoustics in the room are GREAT(we had a band), the food is delicious, and the Carl House has running your wedding down to the tee. I also used the in house florals with Lindy who is beyond accommodating and nice. She worked with our budget, and I loved using her because she knows her limits with the venue and has more clout there than an outside florist will have there. CONS are that their strict timelines on your wedding can get frustrating. We purchased an additional hour (I wished I had purchased more) that we were allowed to be on site prior to the ceremony since we were only allotted a certain amount with our rental....and most of that time was after the sun had set due to day light savings time....which wouldn't allow for any outdoor pictures. If you are looking for a venue to get ready at and have pretty pictures of you getting your hair and make up done with your bridesmaids...this isn't it. The bridal suite is beautiful... but you will hardly use it, more than likely you won't have enough time to be in there or use it for anything. My advice, rent more time...however you can only rent more time 90 days before the wedding if they don't book another wedding. So you are essentially holding your breath wondering about your wedding day schedule until you know you can book more. You won't even know when your dinner rehearsal time or day is until 30 days before your wedding because they want to book another event prior if possible, and you are lowest on that priority list no matter when you book., if they tell you the venue holds 250 people, that is a stretch. Thats only if you don't have a band, and don't use chargers(which I really wanted and found out later effected my head count). I originally booked thinking we would have plenty of space and at my 90 day meeting, Nicole let me know that was an incorrect information. We struggled to fit my 180 guests with the chargers I wanted. I would say I was impressed with the organization of the venue and Nicole; however, I was dissatisfied with the time I got with my rental considering the amount of money we paid because they want the option to book another wedding the day of your wedding. They have a certain way of running their weddings, and if you try to change their system at all you're going to get pushback. I realize they are running a business, but each bride only gets one day to get married, and I felt on multiple occasions that our wedding was just another wedding to them. Overall, my wedding was beautiful, Nicole worked very hard the day of to make our wedding day organized, and besides being stressed about time, it was a perfect day.

I could not have pulled off an elegant wedding in two months without them. Especially on a tight budget and without family intown to help me. We decided on August 1st were wanted to be married this Oct, two weeks later we were engaged, had a venue, dress and plan. I can not tell you how easy The Carl House made our wedding of 100 on a budget of 14k. It was a tight budget, but we wanted to pay for the wedding ourselves.We started looking for a venue on a Tuesday and spent the weekend on venue appointments. At the end of the weekend we were narrowed to two very different locations, the Carl House and a warehouse. The decision became easy when we took a drive and visited them back to back.The Carl House offered all in house vendors, saving me the time and headache of having to organize, coordinate and blend different types of vendors to one wedding plan. The packages saved the unneeded hassle of coming back around to a venue and caterer to select set up and food. In a meeting that lasted less than two hours, we had a venue, menu, flowers, table setup, agenda, cocktail hour and coordinator all arranged. From there we selected invitations, seating cards, honeymoon, DJ, Photographer, Videographer, and cake.I've never been married before, but the Carl House and especially Nicole make it a breeze. We have a friend that is a wedding coordinator at a competitor and she complemented us on how lovely and seamless the event was.

The Venue is amazing. Gorgeous and I highly recommend you book your Wedding here. Service is great. As the bride we had an open bar and they made sure my husband and I were taken care of first and anything we wanted they had it to us in a matter of minutes. We had the Southern Comfort menu and the food was amazing! I wish I could have taken some home with me. We also did the chocolate fountain and that was a huge hit along with the photo booth. I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you again Carl House for making my wedding one to remember.

I have to brag on Nicole here because our wedding would have been utter chaos without her! She is amazing! On top over every detail the entire night. She kept me sane when it came to the groomsman, she kept the night running smoothly, and made sure we had a chance to eat at some point throughout the evening. Every wedding venue needs a Nicole! Throughout the planning process, Nicole was attentive, organized and resourceful.Nicole helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my husband on track for our big day. She took the reigns on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants (and little ones!) knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable throughout. On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Nicole was on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we picked Nicole to help us throughout our wedding planning. I would recommend Nicole and her team to absolutely anyone!

She did not miss a beat and she ALWAYS made herself available to us. Lindy, the in house florist, did our flowers for the wedding and they were so amazing. I was so shocked to see how amazing the flowers looked for the price we paid. Lindy is truly talented and a pleasure to work with. Chef Kelly did the food for the wedding and she did an amazing job as well! Our guest kept talking about how awesome the food was. The owner Ms. BB was also very pleasant and hands on with her business. It was nice to see that the owner cared about her business and wanted to make sure that our experience was pleasant. Overall, the Carl House was a great choice for our wedding venue. The staff truly cares about making your wedding a day to remember and I would recommend the Carl House to anybody looking for a wedding venue in Atlanta. How could I possibly put into words what a phenomenal team the Carl House has and how unforgettable our wedding was. From the initial meeting, we met the owner BB Webb, and fell absolutely in love. We thought it was a fluke how much we loved it and blamed it on it being the first venue we looked at and that we were too excited. So, against our initial instinct we decided to visit two more venues and realized how lucky we had been to find the Carl House right off the bat! We couldn't sign the contract fast enough!From then on, as incredibly stressful as wedding planning is, Nicole our wedding coordinator was such an angel to have! She was always reachable, thorough, sweet, kind, detail oriented, and most importantly made it her mission for us to not compromise on what we wanted but to create our dream wedding. I tend to think too much about what other people want, but trying to please 150 guests is impossible and I had Nicole to always keep me in line and remind me that it is OUR wedding. She was my sanity throughout the whole process! Another key team player was Lindy Lamarco, this woman is a fairy godmother of flowers! As a very budget oriented bride she adjusted our options accordingly, I was worried that if we didn't get the most EXPENSIVE flowers that the aesthetics of the ceremony/ reception wouldn't be like I wanted but boy was I wrong! She has dreamy flower selections and visions to fit every budget and I absolutely loved every floral aspect of our day. I can't speak enough words of praise and gratitude toward the whole team. FromCoordination, to bill review/settlement, to the food ( which I am still getting raving reviews from my guests about!), our bartender (who was the sweetest lady and expert bartender I have encountered, all of my guests loved her!), to the execution and dealing with the unexpected, they were absolutely FLAWLESS! We had to deal with unforeseen ceremony location change due to weather as soon as we got to the altar, this could've been an awful start to our day but Nicole was there to ease my nerves, deal with the guests as we transferred and even keep me absolutely dry! My day was absolutely everything that I had dreamed it would be and I am so grateful for the Carl House and every member of their team for being everything that they needed to be to get us through! Thank you Thank you Thank you for all you did and all you continue to do to ensure that all couples get an amazing start to their lives as a married couple! We are forever grateful!

Everything was taken care of for me from day one. My menu was perfect, flowers, decorations, I could go on and on about how beautiful our wedding was, from the ceremony to the reception. Nicole was the most amazing person ever. She made sure everything was perfect for me and made sure I was relaxed and calm before the ceremony. She even helped me sit down each time in my dress. There really are not enough words to describe how amazing this venue and its staff are! From our very first walkthrough we were treated so warmly and it immediately felt 'right'. The owner, BB, has done an amazing job making this venue absolutely magical inside and out! The venue is truly one of a kind and must be seen to truly appreciate it. Really pictures don't do it justice! Nicole was our wedding coordinator and she is just BEYOND!!! There really is no better word to describe how incredibly talented and awesome she is! She made sure to answer any questions or concerns that I had immediately all the way up to the big day. She was more than accommodating with my family's busy schedules and was so calm and reassuring anytime something went askew (as things do with any big event). On the big day she was there every step of the way, making sure that every detail was carried out to the fullest. It would not have been the amazing day it was without her. We received so many compliments from guest saying how beautiful the wedding was and I was so pleased by the amount of guests who commented that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended! Honestly all of this praise goes to Nicole, BB, and the rest of the Carl House staff! If you choose this venue you will not be disappointed. The food is incredible, the venue is one of a kind, and the pricing is absolutely affordable. Also, I highly recommend using the Carl House florist, Lindy. She put together the most unique and perfect bouquets, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements, and even worked with me on pricing! I seriously doubt you will find better because believe me, we looked, it was truly a blessing to find this hidden gem! If you are searching for a venue that will LITERALLY give you a fairytale wedding look no further. The Carl house worked with my needs and wants every step of the way. We began planning in February of 2015 for our wedding on May 21st 2016. There was never a time that the staff did not go the extra mile to makes sure my wants were met at 100%. Their on site chef is a genius and the food is still being raved about by our guests. The on site florist Lindy is a true artist and worked with our budget and still delivered the most stunning arrangements I have ever seen. If you are able to request a wedding coordinator from their staff please do yourself a favor and request Nicole. This woman was working with an injured foot all night long making sure everything was absolutely perfect that day. She is like part of our family now and we are forever grateful we had the privilege to work with her through the entire process. And lastly, BB Webb the owner of the Carl House is a one of a kind gem! She personally made sure she was there at not only the wedding festivities but also and our planning sessions. She made sure no stone was left unturned and that my husband, family, guests, and myself had a 10 star experience.Thank you for making our fairytale a reality! We got married May 22nd 2016. This venue is absolutely amazing! I did not look at any other venue. I saw a picture of The Carl House and from there on my mind was set. Once we starting the planning process with The Carl House, it went very smoothly. We used their in house floral, Lindy. She is awesome to work with. My flowers were beautiful the day of and they are still beautiful sitting in water in my fridge. Their food is amazing. We decided to upgrade our menu 2 weeks before our wedding and was so happy we did. All of our guest were talking about how great the food was. Their wedding director Nicole, is the best! She was available anytime if anything was needed. All of their staff went above and beyond for anything I needed or my bridal party. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. I highly recommend this venue.

My wedding was just a week ago at The Carl House in Auburn, GA. It was everything I could have ever dreamed of & more! From the wedding planner, the venue & the food, it was perfect! We had the steak & three cheese ravioli and it was AMAZING! I had absolutely no stress at all during the planning process to the day of. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day and we were able to have it outdoors, but one of the main reasons I chose this venue was the fact that it would have been a gorgeous indoor wedding as well. The inside of the Carl House was absolutely perfect and little decoration was needed. I loved the long brick walkway, the gazebo & the brick wall. Most especially, I liked it because for the most part it was a one stop shop. Also,, whenever I needed anything answered (which happened to be many questions) leading up to the big day Nicole (wedding planner) responded almost immediately. Indira (the other wedding planner) assisted the day of to make sure everything was in place & happened smoothly! I am so thankful I chose this beautiful venue!

Hello Readers, Just to let you know a little about myself. I am the bride of this recent event. When starting this journey I was finishing up my last year of professional school, so my schedule was a little crazy to say the least. I researched and researched ......and researched multiple venues to have my dream wedding. At first my row Husband and I wanted to get married at a venue that could accommodate a decent party size and have our ceremony and reception inside. We wanted a venue that would take care of our family, wedding party, and guests. Also, we wanted a venue that was willing to work with my budget. After visiting multiple venues my husband and I finally visited the Carl house. I was blown away by the venue. It was so Beautiful I even considered changing our plan and wanted to have my ceremony outside. Also, the house was so gorgeous and the Carl House was fully staffed to take care of all of my guests. In addition they had on site catering and florals! So, I thought ok how much is this going to cost me???? I thought it was going to blow my budget.... but Carl House was very good about helping me decide what I really wanted/needed so that i could have the dream wedding that I wanted that also fit within my budget. Also, they were really good about working with my busy schedule! So as you already know I booked my wedding date with Carl House. But the great things do not end just yet.... If you book with Carl House, they have a list of amazing vendors that are just as fabulous. I researched every vendor myself inside and outside of Carl House recommendations. My other recommendation to you is to book their Florist Lindy! She made the vision of the flowers and decor of my wedding so much better that I could image. I would not have changed a single thing. Lastly, I need you to know about Carl House's Amazing Wedding Coordinator Nicole! The day of my wedding, when I say it poured..... IT POURED!!! Nicole help make every decision I made so stress free! We ended up having the wedding Inside like my husband and I originally wanted! It was amazing! Nicole was taking care of our wedding party, my family, our guests, and My husband and I the entire event! Everything ran on schedule, everything happened just the way we wanted it to, My HUSBAND AND I GOT TO EAT OUR FOOD, and there was so much more! I do not know how she does it! But she deserves much more credit than she gets. It has been 3 weeks since my wedding and all of our friends and family are still talking about how amazing she was and how we found her! Carl House was worth everything and their staff is amazing and made My Husbands and My wedding a dream come true! Everything was perfect and I would do it the same exact way all over again! Thank you so much Carl House and TEAM! We are so grateful for all of you!

The Carl House is an absolutely stunning venue with an amazing staff. Everyone we dealt with was very polite and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Lindy, the in house florist delivered what was easily my favorite aspect of our day, our flowers and arrangements. She is immensely talented and just down right sweet. Nicole, our coordinater was no nonsense and really took care of all of our needs, also very sweet and a hugger! On the big day Indira took over and kept things on track and everything went smoothly. It has been a month and our guests still talk about how amazing the food was and it truly was delicious. Overall, wonderful experience and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classy location to host their wedding.

I am so glad, excited and blessed that we decided to have our wedding at the Carl House! Our wedding was on October 2, 2015. It was raining the whole week before with a very slight chance of sun. I have a very type A personality and like to have a plan, but I REALLY wanted to do it outside because that was my dream! However, the whole carl house team still made me dream come true and our ceremony and reception were nothing short of beautiful! Nicole stood beside me and talked me through everything. She helped me make decisions that I just couldn't do on my own. She rocked it on our wedding night with her energetic personality and smile, and made everything go perfectly smooth! Lindy did an AMAZING job on our flowers and I couldn't be happier! She helped turn my dream into a vision! The whole carl house team catered the whole wedding party, guests, and the bride and groom and everyone had so much fun! Thank you so much for making our day perfect and smooth-going, and helping us create wonderful lifetime memories! We are so thankful for you!

We were married on September 5, 2015 and it was absolutely beautiful. We could not have asked for a better venue to have for our wedding. Nicole made everything from extremely simple, she tells you like it is and knows what works and doesnt work. The house is so well decorated we only used decorations on the tables. The only thing I wish would have been better kept up was the landscape. Compared to the pictures you see on the website, it doesnt look the same. I just wish it was better kept up. I definitely recommend the Carl House for any wedding for anyone looking for an elegant yet old time feel for your wedding. Thank You Carl House!!!

I have always heard good things about the Carl House when it came to the actual house and the beauty of the grounds. Even in December when me and my fiance (at the time) went to view the venue, I was amazed with its beauty. So, I knew that on my wedding day I would not be disappointed with \"appearances\". I also was in love with the pictures of the Carl House floral. I was blown away on my wedding day. Lindy, the floral director, was amazing. She did a fantastic job. I could have not asked for anything different. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING. Our wedding director Nicole was so sweet and always on point. She was available whenever I needed her and was a great guide during the entire process. The food was wonderful. The chef will change the flavoring to whatever you would like (spicier, etc.). I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day because the Carl House staff waited on us hand and foot. It was an amazing experience and the Best Day Ever! Cheers to happily ever after!

Leading up to any wedding can be extremely stressful. Making sure all the minor details get taken care of, that all guests get into town safely and are comfortable, etc. There is no doubt that mine definitely was, however, when it came time for the ceremony to start all of that stress seemed to fade away! Nicole did an amazing job attending to my every want and need. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was out of this world! All of my guests are still raving about the food. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I am so thankful that we chose the Carl House as our venue for our wedding. We couldn't be happier!

I can NOT say enough good things about Carl House. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. Being an out of state bride, I was worried about how everything was going to come together, but once I met Nicole, the head wedding planner, I knew that she was going to do everything possible to help me create my fairytale wedding! My mom and I did a lot of DIY things that we created to help make our wedding personalized. Nicole and her team were so flexible in working with us to help us add our personal touches to the ceremony and reception. Lindy, the head of floral, created all of our flower arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres. The flowers were beautiful and added so much color to our day! The whole Carl House staff worked flawlessly together. They made it possible for my husband, family, and the wedding party to relax and enjoy our special day! I highly recommend Carl House to any bride who is looking for a romantic fairytale wedding!

I am so glad that we choose the Carl House as our Reception Venue!! They were really great to work with. Anytime I had a question they would respond quickly with the complete information and were helpful throughout the whole process. They have a very well organized and professional team on hand from the first inquiry to the wedding day. \r\rNicole was a dream to work with as our wedding coordinator. She was helpful with everything and gave us lots of good options to help save money, but still get the most out of everything. She made sure that the groom and I, as well as our families were being taken care of through the whole night. We truly felt special every step of the way. \r\rThe food was delicious and everyone at the wedding said they loved the place. We wanted a venue with good indoor and outdoor space and this was perfect, with the gorgeous gardens and the pretty plantation style home.

Our experience at the Carl House was spectacular. Everyone was a joy to work with and they made it so easy for my mom and I to plan my special day. Nicole was spectacular and always knew the answer to every question and was more than willing to answer anything I had to ask. Lindy made the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. The food was spectacular and so was the service on my wedding day. The team is so upbeat & positive. BB (the owner) was even around during my wedding and she was an extreme joy to be around too. I cannot say enough positive things about the place. The grounds are GORGEOUS if you want to take pictures outside and it was very conducive to a large wedding party. My wedding ended up having around 150 guests and it was a perfect fit for the reception. Thank you again to the entire Carl House staff for making my wedding so perfect! I will definitely recommend your venue to future Brides!

Our wedding was 4/18/15. \rA wedding is stressful enough without adding in all the outside opinions and changes in plans (that are not your idea), but working with Nicole Benson and The Carl House made my perfect day that much easier. Nicole was by my side the entire time and always available to me if I needed her. On the wedding day she made everything run smoothly. What this wedding showed me is that I am a bit of a control freak (I would usually like to do everything on my own, so I know it's done right), but Nicole made me feel totally comfortable letting go of that control and allowing her to take the reins. I had complete trust in her, and for good reason. I don't how she pulled it off, but the night was seamless. The rain even held off so we could do the ceremony outside, which is gorgeous! The reason I picked this place though was that, even if it had been inside, it would have been just as beautiful. The inside is GORGEOUS! The staff that was serving everyone was great and very attentive. The food was wonderful, and it's catered on-site, which is even better. The filet station was AWESOME, so if you are thinking about getting it, do it! I didn't get to meet her, but my guests had raving reviews for the bartender, they said she was hilarious. Lindy and her team provided the flowers and I can't say enough wonderful things about them either. There was no stress there, she was quick to respond to any questions I had. The flowers were everything I dreamed of and more. She really listened to what I wanted and more than delivered. She is also there to set up centerpieces, which was another thing I didn't have to worry about because she did a fabulous job. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this venue. Everything was perfect and WHEN you pick them you will be in excellent hands.

I would like to share that our experience with the Carl House was, simply put....AMAZING. \rMy wife and i had been engaged for over a year and during the majority of this time our wedding was booked at a different venue. It so happened that for reasons outside of our control (and a singularly crazy venue owner) we ended up losing this venue only 2 MONTHS before our wedding date! Needless to say, my wife was crushed...we lost a 220 year old plantation home with garden and we did not know what to do.\rWe were online and looking for a place that could accomodate our date and more importantly our budget. \rHonestly, it did not take us long to decide. the first venue we looked at after this catastrophe was the Carl House. We called and set up a time with Amy (the event manager) and we could not be more pleased.\rWith a pleasant and professional demeanor Amy put us at ease and quickly started laying out the Carl house options. It was obvious that to her, a short booking can be very stressful to all however she was willing to work within the Carl house business plan to get us what we needed. She showed us around the grounds and talked about the venue option and we were sold! The best part was THEY HAD OUR DATE! YAY!\r\rFast forward to the short booking. \r\rThe first time I met Nicole Benson (Wedding Director) I knew this was the woman for the job. She quickly made it so easy to understand everything in a series of short meetings that I was no longer worried about our short booking. We knew the Carl House would not let us down.\r\rWe were not wrong, our wedding day was wonderful, and Nicole handled our series of crisis without hesitation. The wedding ceremony was indoors due to weather, FOB arrived after scheduled ceremony time and our guests were hungry due to the long wait.\r\rThe Carl House Made sure there were plenty of Hors d'oeuvres for our guests, the wait staff was respectful and attentive and overall our day went off with only one hitch!(pun intended ;-] )\r\rI would recommend Carl House (and Nicole) to ANYONE who is interested in this beautiful plantation style home as the place where you start your life with the one you love!\r

The Carl House was the perfect venue for my wedding! I loved how wonderful the staff was and how many services were provided by the Carl House. I highly recommend using their florist and their caterer offered good variety. The gardens are beautiful for an outdoor wedding, but the rain backup plan to bring the wedding indoors has to be called pretty early in the day, which was challenging. However, the staff did everything they could to accommodate my desire for an outdoor wedding! I wouldn't change a thing!

All that I knew that I wanted in a wedding venue was an intimate, old, colonial home. We hit the jackpot with the Carl House!! My husband really didn't want a traditional wedding until I showed him the Carl House. Not only did we get the antique home feel, we got an outstanding wedding coordinator in Nicole, excellent and attentive service staff throughout the day and remarkable catering! The home itself requires little decoration due to its grandeur, elegance and well kept grounds. That's exactly what I wanted- a timeless venue for our timeless day. My husband was out of town through much of the planning time (only 3 months), but Nicole was most fantastic in guiding me through decisions and didn't allow me to get too caught up. The sales team was accommodating in moving our rental time earlier in the day because of my concern for traveling guests. On our wedding day, Nicole did an amazing job of handling my outside vendors, getting them all set and keeping me calm through the hiccups (of no fault of the Carl House). Her goal was to make my day all that I dreamed it to be at whatever the effort. I would recommend the Carl House and Nicole to anyone wanting a stress-free and beautiful wedding venue!!!

I couldn't be more pleased with how my big day went at the Carl House!! From the food, to the service, everything was 100 percent what I wanted. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and were so helpful and made the day run smooth as silk. It was beautiful inside and out! We had an indoor ceremony and it was beautiful and the staff flipped the ballroom in a very reasonable amount of time for the reception. Most of all, I'd like to mention the on site coordinator, Nicole! She was the absolute best part of my experience at the Carl House and made sure everything was just right behind the scenes. I don't know what I would have done without her. I would recommend the Carl House to anyone looking to have their big day there. They are professional, easy to work with, and have a beautiful campus. I loved it!

Everything was great – from the venue, to the food, to the service we received. The venue is gorgeous, has outdoor or indoor ceremony space. We did indoor. It has a beautiful mezzanine (I walked down the stairs to the aisle, and we had dinner upstairs with bridal party and close family – very intimate). Our guests raved about the food, everything was delicious! The wedding coordinator was awesome – she was always quick to respond to all of my questions, even near the end, when I was probably a not-so-fun-to-work-with stressed-out Bride(zilla). She was great the day of too – gathering our things from the rooms, which we may have left otherwise. We paid for our entire wedding ourselves, and this venue allowed us the day of our dreams. SO fairly priced for what you get!! To this day, there are friends and family members that tell us our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they have attended. I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

My husband and I truly loved our experience with the Carl House. Everything about our special day was perfect because of the extraordinary team at the venue. Nicole, our wedding director, made us feel at ease as she took care of every last detail for us. She was always available to answer questions before the event, and she stayed with us through the rehearsal and wedding day to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The venue itself was beautiful for the wedding. Our wedding was in December, and the decorations for Christmas were so elegant. The ballroom where the ceremony and reception took place was so wonderful as well, and no other indoor ceremony space could compare. The double staircase entrance is so unique to the venue and provides the bride with a regal grand entrance to the ceremony that won't be easily forgotten. In addition to the beautiful estate and wedding director, Lindy, the florist, is amazing at what she does and she works diligently to go beyond your expectations without breaking the bank. The catering is great as well, as all of our food was excellent. The entire night was more than I could have ever asked for.

I just got married on 1/4/2014 and am so happy I chose the Carl house as my venue. It was perfect. I chose them because they were the prettiest venue I looked at and would be lovely for an outdoor or indoor wedding. I definately made the right choice. Not only was it gorgeous and absolutely lovely, but Nicole, the onsite wedding planner/coordinator was absolutely amazing.. She was amazing and made sure the entire event went smoothly. I accidentally put te ceremony on the invitations for 30 minutes after when it was supposed to start, and found out this was the case the night before the wedding. We texted Nicole immediately and she took care of it. It all worked out wonderfully and my wedding was everything I had hoped it would be.

A great choice for our special day. It was perfect. The entire staff was on top of things. My wedding director Nicole Benson & my floral designer, Lindy were very attentive to details & made sure my day went smoothly & was a memorable experience for each of our guest as well. I can't express enough how wonderful they are! I would certainly recommend them to anyone!! Thanks again Nicole, Lindy and the entire staff!!
