Cocopalm Restaurant is a wedding venue located in Pomona, CA. Less than 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles, its location is as convenient as it is special. A contemporary interior design and modern amenities are just the beginning at this restaurant, which provides ample space for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Perched in the hills of Southern California, their event spaces are filled with natural light and a cheerful ambience. This restaurant is committed to offering high quality, authentic Cuban cuisine. Cuban food takes its roots from Caribbean cuisine but combines a Spanish influence in many of its dishes. This restaurant aims to blend traditional American dishes with a Caribbean and Cuban flair to create a menu rich with authentic but accessible flavor. Stunning views of the rugged California hills with palm trees towering overhead create a dramatic setting for your wedding day. Strike a chord by hosting your party on the venue’s large terrace with natural stone tiles and weighty balustrade which exudes an old-world charm. As the sun sinks behind the horizon, you may decide to make your way inside to dance beneath ornate chandeliers and on top of a custom-built dance floor. A space which was designed with entertainment in mind, its permanent stage with lighting will keep the party going into the night. Cocopalm Restaurant offers several rooms for gatherings from anywhere between 25 and 500 wedding guests. Both indoor and outdoor venues are available for wedding ceremony or reception. Larger occasions can be accommodated in the Coco Room with high ceilings and grand columns. The sunny Riviera Room boasts a series of floor-to-ceiling windows and a light and airy atmosphere. A transitional space which allows for both balcony access and a stylish bar constructed with glass blocks, the Bolero Room is convenient for a variety of occasions. Besides its picturesque scenery, the Tropicana Terrace offers couples a beautiful outdoor backdrop to say ‘I do’ or a special place to host a memorable reception. For your guests’ convenience, valet parking and self-parking are available at the restaurant. Beyond weddings, they are happy to host a variety of other events such as, Quinceañeras, business meetings, and luncheons.

From our first inquiry to the day of, the team at Cocopalm made our day so magical! We worked directly with Rhonda and she provided a detailed breakdown of the different packages. The venue is all inclusive , we only had to find DJ, florist, officiant, and photographer..all of which they have preferred vendors for that we booked and the night was seamless. The views from the Terrace were like somethi g out of a painting. The staff serving the event were so attentive. Food was amazing, drinks were perfect. Rhonda was frequently checking in. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect night. I definately recommend the Cocopalm!

This all inclusive wedding venue was absolutely amazing! Filet mignon was cooked on point at medium temperature.. food and appetizers were amazing!! Everything was well organized and all vendors were very easy to work with! we highly recommended!!

We had our wedding on 3/16/19 and It was the best day of our lives. We couldn’t have been any happier especially the service that was provided for all my guest. The food was delicious, the DJ, music, cake, and ceremony. Shout out to Raeanna for helping me organize everything. Such a blessing to have worked with her. I totally recommend this place.

We just had our daughters Quinceanera in the ballroom. 145 guests and everyone received their food hot and plated beautifully. The venue was spotless and the staff was professional and always helpful. We are so happy we chose the Coco Palm for our event.

I can't say enough great things about the Coco Palm! I had my ceremony and reception in the Bolero Room. Many of my guests thought that we had absolutely splurged on our wedding when actually it was very affordable. They offer several packages and we purchased the Diamond package which included open bar for 3 hours, appetizers (hot and cold), a filet mignon dinner, our wedding cake, the ceremony space and flowers for our wedding arch. We had initially met with Patty last year and the planning process was easy and all of our questions answered. Sometime between then and my wedding our point of contact was changed to RaeAnna. I was nervous at first but she quickly put my fears to rest. RaeAnna was always prompt in her responses, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. During our wedding Rigo was our captain in charge of our event. He made sure that everything was taken care of during the night. Even though he had another event that he was in charge of that night I never felt like our event was neglected. I had so many of my guests tell me that our food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! During cocktail hour the appetizers kept flowing and the drinks were plenty. Many guests loved our bartender, I believe his name was Abraham, his drinks were very delicious. Everything was ready to go on time, the service was top notch, and the setting was perfect. I am so lucky that most of my vendors were fantastic and Coco Palm was no exception. I definitely recommend them for weddings or events.

We had our wedding at Coco Palm Restaurant in Pomona, CA. The ceremony was outside, over looking the city. Such a beautiful view! Cocktail hour was amazing, with hot Hors d'oeuvre and veggies. Then reception with filet Mignon and shrimp scampi! The food was amazing! Very affordable for a wedding of approx 150 pp. The wedding coordinators are friendly and respond quickly to your questions. Early this month my wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Coco Palm Restaurant. This is an amazing venue! Our ceremony on the Terrace at sunset was incredible and made for amazing photos. Tony was amazing even when our catering coordinator left without reaching out to us. Tony really saved the day! He made sure on the day of our wedding we had everything we needed. Tony provided perfect lighting and the setup was beautiful! My expectations were far exceeded by the accommodations Coco Palms made for my wife and I to ensure a truly special day that will not be forgotten. Tony and the staff were a pleasure to work with as they were professional, approachable and genuinely concerned with the outcome of the evening. I cannot thank you all enough for this incredible experience from beginning to end.

I was set to have a beautiful wedding ceremony here on a balcony overlooking the the hills of Pomona followed by a reception in a beautiful open spacious room and I could not boast more about the delicious food that was going to be served. However, life happens and my fiance and I decided that neither of us were ready for such a big commitment with out working through some unfinished relationship issues. So why am I giving this restaurant such a high rating when i didn't even go through with my event? When I called to cancel I was expecting to be told that my PIF wedding was non-refundable, a hard lesson that I was going to have to learn but the marriage of my dreams was far more important to me than the wedding of my dreams. I was able to speak with the restaurant manager Tony who not only was extremely sincere in his apology of my fallen plans and very comforting in reassuring me how the decision my fiance and I are making is the right one but he also went above and beyond for us by contacting the owners and asking if given the circumstances we could possibly get some sort of refund back. I could not appreciate his efforts enough and am so thankful for what he did. If at anytime we decided to dip our toes back into wedding planning I am 100% sure I would be going back here! Thank you again Tony for making this decision feel a lot easier to live with and for going above and beyond for us!

Sashes look beautiful and not just thrown there on chairs. It's best decision we both made. Great service all around from Desiree and the many staff members! The best decision I could've made for my wedding! If I could get married again tomorrow I would, just to have my wedding at Cocopalm again. Every staff member that was involved with our wedding on 2/18/17 went above and beyond to cater to our needs. We had the pleasure of having Patty as our Catering Coordinator and we were also able to work with the General Manager Tony. Both of them were amazing to work with; very compassionate, funny, and knowledgeable. We had so many set backs the morning of our wedding which caused us to start an hour late and Tony was right there reminding me to breathe and they made sure everything still went according to plan and everything was beautiful. I couldn't have found a better venue that was breathtakingly gorgeous with delicious food that was SUPER affordable. The views of the city from this place we phenomenal and looked awesome on our wedding photo's. We've visited PLENTY of venues before deciding on Cocopalm and honestly none of them compared to the service, food, views and overall value of what we received. If you book here you won't regret it.

We decided on Cocopalm because the food was so delicious and reasonably priced. Ceremony on the terrace w/ the gorgeous view and reception in the coppa room. The max capacity is 200 for that room. We ended up with 164 total and it fit perfect, not too spaced out and not crammed at all. \r\rOn our first consultation, we were really impressed with the staff and how accommodating they were. They actually went through a personnel change about 3 months before my wedding. This worried me (obviously!) but the transition was smooth and effortless. The day of the wedding, they were awesome! Tony the manager is now beloved by our family and bridal party. Everything exceeded all expectations. We got lots of compliments on everything, the view, the food, the service. I LOVED having our wedding there and would definitely do it all over again! The entire staff are really just great people and they make it so easy and stress free. Can't say enough good things about it.

My husband and I got married there this past August on the outdoor terrace. We had the best time of our lives. The view was gorgeous, the food selection was amazing, and the staff was.extremely friendly. They were so great my cousin told me she wanted to re-do her wedding there (she got married one month earlier). They have great wedding packages that include cake from Portos Cuban bakery and OPEN BAR! Not planning a wedding? Go there Sundays for their all you can eat champagne brunch. You'll more than likely see us there!

I had my ceremony and reception here on a sunday evening. Very beautiful location overlooking the valley. The food was a little expensive but oh so good. The service was great and the staff there were very helpful while I was planning.

The venue was beautiful! We had our ceremony on the terrace. The freeway is right below so I was really concerned with the noise. But our DJ took care of that with stratigically placed speakers. Our wedding was on the hottest day of spring (upper 90s). I would recommend renting a tent for there is no shade on the terrace. The cocktail food and drinks were awesome. There was a morning wedding before ours and it made it kind of hard for my coordinator to set-up the reception area. There was a miscommunication with the catering coordinator and our entree was wrong. At the end, the owner made it right and took care of us, monetarily .

The venue was beautiful! We had our ceremony on the terrace. The freeway is right below so I was really concerned with the noise. But our DJ took care of that with stratigically placed speakers. Our wedding was on the hottest day of spring (upper 90s). I would recommend renting a tent for there is no shade on the terrace. The cocktail food and drinks were awesome. There was a morning wedding before ours and it made it kind of hard for my coordinator to set-up the reception area. There was a miscommunication with the catering coordinator and our entree was wrong. At the end, the owner made it right and took care of us, monetarily .

Coco Palm was a beautiful place to have my wedding! They were easy to work with and Sean and Patty are amazing!!!! The food was fantastic! The portions were so big no one was left hungry! The view of the night lights and city is beautiful. We were very pleased.

The food was marvelous and the view was spectacular. However, because the restaurant is located on the hills, we had a few skunks come up on the terrace where our ceremony/reception was held. The tablecloths were stained and we weren't able to decorate until 2 hours before the wedding started.

I loved this venue, and it was the perfect place to have the ceremony and reception venue. Having gone to several weddings this past year and last year alone, I knew my expectations were higher since it was my wedding. I highly recommend this place, luckily because I love Cuban food. The food was great, everyone loved the venue, and really no one knew of the small nuisiances that happened. If anything, it worked out to our advantage.

Our reception was completely outdoors on a terrace overlooking the city. It was very tropical with tons of palm trees. The trees all had white light which just made the area look very romantic and beautiful. In addition the staff was excellent tending to our every need. The food and drinks were so good and way more than we expected.;There are a lot of stairs so if you have a lot of elderly guests it may not be that accessible to them. I would not recommend that you have children there either because of all of the stairs.

Elegant Beautiful. THe staff was excellent. The food was delicious. The view was beautiful. I would recoment this venue to anyone who is palnning to get married. I had compliments all night about my venue. They also provided my cake which came from the best catering locations (portos) it was a beautiful 4 layer cake. It was also deliciuous.

The staff was superb! Food was excellent. They took care of everything. I loved it.;If you have it in the outdoor terrace, make sure you don't have any handicapped guests because there is no handicap access out there.

I loved the view of the city. And the outdorr area for the ceremony and cocktail hour was gorgeous. Lots of stairs beautiful greenery. Perfect for pictures.;Kind of tight for a large numbre of guests. I had 180 that attended and that was pushing it.

They charged me for extra guest and tried charging my guest for chapagne that was included in our menu. I tried getting a hold of the manager and wrote a letter with no response back. They over booked the venue and three days before told me my guest would HAVE to pay for valet. I had questioned it before we booked and they told me it was optional. They are very unorganized. I would not recommend having your event here.

We had our wedding and reception on the outside terrace. We loved that it was outdoors and overlooked the city. It had a beautiful view during the day and night. We loved the marble flooring and stairs as well as all the green and trees. At night the ambiance is beautiful due to the lights on the trees and around the venue. The bridal suite is huge and beautiful for a restaurant. We loved the food and the value we received for our money. Our signature drink was peach mojitos and they were delicious!! Also the staff is great to work with!;The only thing I would mention is their is not handicap access. However I've been informed by the venue that they are going to be doing some remodeling in the near future in which they will be adding handicap access to the terrace.
