In Dickerson, MD, Comus Farm is a venue that offers a picturesque landscape for weddings and events. It is nestled on almost 300 acres of fields and rolling hills and features magnificent vistas. Not far from Sugarloaf Mountain, this locale is both a retreat and a magical backdrop for couples to swap their vows before. It is a memorable and stand-out place for wedding celebrations.
Comus Farm boasts a storied past that adds to the location's charms. The farmhouse was constructed in 1921 and was initially used as a dairy farm. It has been refurbished to offer modern comforts while maintaining the historical integrity of the building. Farm animals can be found throughout the property as can lush vegetation in the growing seasons. This adds to the overall postcard-worthy quality of the location. It is now owned by Iago and Lauren who are enthusiastic about welcoming others to their farm for celebrations.
There are idyllic spots throughout Comus Farm suited for ceremonies and receptions alike. Many use the Gazebo or Pond locations for their vows. Then, guests mingle in the Rose Garden for the cocktail hour. Receptions can then be held in the newly constructed outdoor pavilion or grande indoor barn. The farmhouse itself features seven bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths and is available for accommodation for the entire weekend!

Working with Comus Farm for our wedding was an amazing experience! The venue itself is stunning. We received SO many compliments on the barn, the property, and, of course, the alpacas! They took us to multiple beautiful spots on the property to take portraits. The house on the property is awesome, and was a perfect place to use as our \"home base\" during the weekend. They had breakfast for us in the morning and left us a basket full of local snacks and treats. The whole way through, Lauren and Kara were easy to work with--every meeting we had with them boosted our excitement and soothed our anxiety. They were flexible with our needs and approached everything with a \"can do\" attitude. Day-of, we didn't worry about anything--they executed everything perfectly! Reviewed on 06-01-2024

My daughter and her now husband were married at Comus Farm in September. Everydetail was taken care of from the day we arrived for the rehersal dinner to when we left after the wedding. Lauren and her staff were in constant communication leading up to the wedding. The facility was stunning and the on site farm house a dream to have before and after the wedding. I'd give them 10 stars if possibile. Reviewed on 19-09-2023
Tammy Kusyk(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2022 My son and Daughter in law had their wedding here and I didn’t find a bad thing about our stay. From the comfort of the beds, the bathrooms are clean and taken care of. Just bring your food to cook a dinner and everything else was there. If your looking for a real personal feeling not commercial feeling for your event you really should take a tour of this place. Reviewed on 04-10-2022

Tina Kariya(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-05-2021 The Comus Farm was a perfect wedding venue. We wanted a small (50 guest) wedding outside (because of the pandemic). We were able to have our ceremony by the pond that the guest traveled to via hay wagon driven by Iago. We did pictures in the pine forest, our cocktail hour was in the rose garden, and our reception was in the covered gazebo. How many other wedding venues can offer such a variety of spaces for entertaining? Lauren was the perfect day-of planner, making sure that everything was running on time and everyone was in their assigned spot. I feel so lucky that I was one of the first brides to get married here but I know I won't be the last! We rented the farmhouse with its 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for the night before and night after the wedding so the entire wedding party and officiant could be on site and used the farmhouse gourmet kitchen to make a big after-wedding brunch.
