The Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center should be at the top of your list for a wedding venue. The entire staff, including Larissa, Mel, Taylor, Gabby, Sergio, the people at the front desk and all the support people were incredible to work with. From the room accommodations, the storage of items, the foyer and ballroom setup, the food, bar....literally every detail of the experience was exceptional. The hotel is close walking distance to many restaurants and shops, which was a big hit for our out of town guests. From the minute we checked-in until the last guests left, every staff member was friendly and provided wonderful customer service. We had so many people comment how great everything was, especially the food at the reception, the comfortable rooms and the overall customer service. The culture of caring was truly evident at this property and it was very much appreciated by me, both of our families and our guests. This wedding was obviously a big event in our lives and the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center exceeded our expectations. Reviewed on 22-08-2023
Kori Allen(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-11-2018 At first, we had issues with our wedding room block not being reserved in their system and our reservation link not working. They had a few different people working with us, but after these issues, Charles came to the rescue! As soon as he became our point-person and took over, everything was gravy! The rooms were great, very accommodating for our guests in wheelchairs, service was wonderful, space was perfect, and they worked with us on the packets to give to our guests that were staying from out-of-town. If you're going to book at this hotel, ask for Charles! Reviewed on 31-07-2019
Ryan Muscott(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2016 This hotel was perfect for our out of town guests for our wedding weekend. The convenience and accessibility to shops and restaurants made for an incredibly fun weekend for all. The hotel was very clean, well appointed, and the staff was friendly and always willing to help. The pool area provided a nice gathering spot to soak in the sun and was tucked away so our guests were not disturbed by any street noise. The hotel is conveniently located off several major highways, which made getting to and from our wedding reception a breeze. I would highly recommend the Marriott for your wedding! Katie Lewis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2014 My wedding was on NYE and we wanted to have the reception in a hotel so people didn't have to worry about driving out on NYE. Our only concern was then we were having a wedding in a hotel and we didn't want it to feel like every other wedding in a hotel ballroom. However, the whole room was transformed and felt very nice, classy and fancy! They worked great with our vendors, let us use their candles, table number holders, and other table decorations for free. They really worked well with us and we were extremely pleased! Make sure you do a food tasting because some things on their menu said \"petite\" but they were HUGE! Not a bad thing, we just wanted smaller appetizer options. Long story short, the whole night was so smooth and easy. They sure know what they are doing! Very fun having it at the same place people can crash! Reviewed on 19-01-2015

a member (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-07-2014 My newlywed wife and I live in Montana, and had our wedding in Texas so that her disabled father could attend. I cannot believe how incredibly lucky we were to discover the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time, and often commented on how it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We didn't have a huge number of people, but a nice intimate and eventful time.\rThe Dallas/Plano Marriott was so accommodating and helpful with every part of the wedding from planning to ceremony to reception. My wife likes to say that we had the perfect wedding and the Dallas/Plano Marriott made it happen. If your having a wedding with 50 or 200+ guests I would recommend the Dallas/Plano Marriott. \rI would like to give special acknowledgement to Kristin Cunningham who was our senior event manager. \rThanks Kristin for all your hark work.\r\rRegards,\rF. Lauren Jenkins(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2016 Ugh.\r\rAfter my THIRD event coordinator, I thought all would run smoothly. We had countless meetings. I planned my wedding from Los Angeles and flew out several times to Texas. The event coordinator made promises that she did NOT keep.\r\rMind you, we rehashed ALL of these issues days before the wedding and had everything set:\r\r1) We made it very clear that I (The Bride) was not to be hear about ANY issues during the wedding. Go to the groom, go to the maid of honor, etc. Not only did she come up to me, about serving the top of our cake to guests none-the-less, she went to my mother about payment options!! Awful.\r\r2) She served the TOP OF OUR CAKE to guests after we specifically told her, two days prior, that we are keeping the top of the cake! (WHO DOESN'T?!?!?) She mentioned that she spilled coffee on the notes. Ridiculous.\r\r3) She was in a car accident on the day of the event, obviously nobody can do anything about that, BUT she left early and left everything up to someone new. The new person lost 2 vendor lights, which we were charged for and are still wasting our time trying to find, now 3 weeks after our wedding. (The Marriott actually had the nerve to tell our lighting vendor there were only 10 lights instead of 12. We had to find proof from videographers and photographers that there were actually 12 lights. They wanted PROOF! The contract wasn't enough, which by the way the event coordinator at the Marriott has all of the vendor contracts and SHOULD \r\r4)I have not heard a single apology and I just realized writing this how furious I am.\r\rThis whole process has made me reconsider my career as I would never let this happen to a bride!
