An active vineyard and fruit farm in Charlottesville, VA, Eastwood Farm and Winery invites couples to bask in its picturesque setting and enjoy unparalleled views. A secluded getaway for the exclusive use of you and your guests, the estate is nestled into the Carters Mountain range, only minutes from downtown Charlottesville. The Blue Ridge Mountains provide an iconic backdrop to say āI doā, framed by rambling rows of fruit trees and encircled by endless thickets of untouched forest. Guests are able to wander the grounds and bask in the crisp mountain air before a lovely ceremony in one of our four event spaces. Our loftiest setting, The Mountaintop overlooks all of the farm from its position nestled in the mountain. Against a backdrop of ever-blooming wildflowers and clear Blue Ridge mountains, the Mountaintop is a perfect space for a ceremony. Lower on the piste, The Terraces offer incredible versatility in a prime location, framed by wildflower meadow and forest, the view forward yielding to apple and pear orchards, berry bushes, and the Blue Ridge mountains. Complete with a sailcloth tent, this is the perfect spot for your wedding reception and is ideal for hosting all aspects of your event. Each over 30,000 square feet, The Terraces can accommodate up to 200 people seated or standing with room for lawn games, Adirondack chairs, and dancing. The Orchard yields the apples and pears from which our first wine was produced; a magical backdrop for an intimate ceremony, couples can exchange vows framed by the branches of fruit trees before wandering amongst the leaves for a breathtaking photo-shoot. The Barn & Tasting Room and Outdoor Veranda is our stunning new indoor event space, perfect for winter weddings. The interior is complete with reclaimed wood, a view into one of our fermentation rooms, four beautiful restrooms, a catering kitchen and a wall of french doors that open out onto the Veranda. The Veranda can accommodate wedding ceremonies of up to150 people and the Barn seats up to 150 people with space for a band and dance floor. Couples can get ready and relax in the Winery Cottage, the farm guest house located just off the main drive. Featuring a full kitchen and three bedrooms, it is ideal for a pre-wedding get-together or a post-wedding vacation before returning to the bustle of modern life. Emma guided us through every option and was flexible with every decision, even when we had changes. They were always willing to work with us to make a vision a reality. We cannot say enough about the owners and staff. They all went above and beyond their roles and made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Our reception was beautiful, and the landscape backdrop on added to creating the perfect place to celebrate our union. Our families have been talking about it since! The drinks and food were amazing and Eastwood will hold a special place in our hearts forever. We would recommend them to any and everyone!The location is very convenient for the Charlottesville/Abermarle area too!

Eastwood was our dream wedding venue, from the very first moment we visited. The tent and terrace provided the perfect mix of outdoor fall scenery for our ceremony and an intimate reception under the tent for us and our guests, and having the on site cottage for getting ready made the day flow seamlessly. We had so many compliments on what a hidden gem it is, and everyone LOVED the wine! We are SO excited to have a venue that we can return to time and time again in the future for anniversaries and relive our memories. We had a perfect experience with Eastwood for our wedding day. We wanted a cozy feel to our venue, and Eastwood provided us with just that. The barn/tasting room had so much personality, which took a lot of stress off of worrying about decor. The tasting room size was ideal for our 140 person event - as it made things feel close and alive but not crowded by any means. The coordinators helped the planning run smoothly and ensured that our day was how we hoped. And of course, having a few bottles of leftover Eastwood wine to share with my new husband is not a bad perk! Overall, would not have changed a thing!

We had the most wonderful experience choosing Eastwood to host our wedding in September. Emma, the Weddings Manager, was BEYOND helpful from the very start. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and warm in every interaction we had with her during the planning process. We can't thank her enough! We also got so many compliments on Eastwood's beautiful property, and we love that we get to visit our wedding venue again as it doubles as a gorgeous winery. I donāt even know where to start with explaining just how thankful I am that I found this venue randomly online and ultimately chose Eastwood. I got married 9/9 and my wedding was above and beyond my wildest dreams. It started with the people. From beginning to end, Emma was there every step of the way to answer any questions, give tours & offer support as a true friend. She gave us vendor recs that we used, and coordinated walk thrus to make sure everyone was on the same page. An added bonus is she is the absolutely nicest person on the planet & made me feel comfortable and confident during the entire process. We chose the mountaintop as the location for both the ceremony and reception under the tent. It is so naturally gorgeous that we didnāt need to do much at all to jazz it up and Eastwood already has many flowers & bushes provided. I lost count with the amount of comments I received saying it was āthe most beautiful venue everā. As for logistics, Eastwood offers transportation from the bottom winery to the top of the mountain and had plenty of parking for our guests. We actually hired big buses to bring guests to and from downtown hotel blocks and there was plenty of room for them to turn around up there. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but itās like 7 min from bars/restaurants on the Downtown Mall! There are restrooms available, and the cutest little bar is under the tent. One spontaneous thing we did was take pictures at the top overlook (which I didnāt know existed) at sunset. It was an intimate time to get away from the craziness and quietly look down at our guests having the best time. Our wedding party pictures were in the vineyards below. So many picture-perfect places to explore and seeing our guests post scenery pictures on social media made us thrilled they thought it was just as pretty, too. From its natural beauty, incredible staff and close proximity to downtown, I couldnāt recommend Eastwood more and you will not find anything else like it.

I can't say enough good things about our wedding at Eastwood! Emma and Mary were both amazing to work with - super smooth communication, and very on top of it. The venue itself is gorgeous and the wine is great. Guests were raving about the frose! The convenience of short distance from Charlottesville and the option to rent the winery cottage can't be overstated either. We highly highly recommend Eastwood!

We got married on 6/17/23, and Eastwood was SO gorgeous! Our pictures are stunning and our guests had a fabulous time. I would definitely recommend future brides get the frose as part of the wine package, it was the drink I heard most about! Emma was so responsive and helpful, even when she was out on maternity leave. Mary stepped in to help when she was out, and she also was able to answer all of my middle-of-the-night questions in the weeks leading up to our wedding. We stayed in the winery cottage the night before, which was so convenient and seamless to book with Emma's help. It was truly our perfect weekend!

We had the most magical wedding at Eastwood!! It was truly the perfect wedding venue. We had our ceremony at the mountaintop and reception at the tent + terraces. Emma was so professional and quick to answer any questions. All of our guests kept raving about the venue as well. It was truly so beautiful and having the permanent tent setup was a huge bonus if you want to have a wedding outdoors. Plus, the wine was fantastic!

Every part of our experience working with Eastwood Farm and Winery was absolutely phenomenal. We got married under the tent and it was everything we could have ever hoped it would be! The staff at Eastwood, in particular Emma the wedding manager, was beyond helpful throughout the entire planning process. She answered all our questions and went above and beyond in helping us transform the space into exactly what we wanted. The tables and chairs they have for use were so beautiful and comfortable and helped with us maintaining our budget. The on-site shuttle was an amazing addition that helped keep us and all our guests comfortable with transportation to the tent and those beautiful mountain views! All of our guests, both local and those from out of town, were absolutely stunned by the beauty of the winery/venue (as we were too!) and could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was. We can't speak highly enough of Eastwood Farm and Winery, if you are thinking about getting married or holding an event here, do it!

As a wedding planner, I love wedding days at Eastwood. Emma the venue manager is fantastic. She's quick to respond, calm and organized on wedding days, and a master at floor plans. Eastwood has 3 distinct spaces for you to enjoy on your wedding day - the hilltop is fantastic for ceremonies with mountain views, the tent and orchard are lovely for an outdoor soiree, and the barn with it's wide and inviting patio are great for an indoor celebration and dancing the night away. There's a cottage on site you can rent for your wedding party to stay in, which makes it so easy to have a place to store you personal belongings and pack up items at the end of the wedding. They also provide on-site catering facilities (not every venue does!) and it's basically the closest winery venue to Charlottesville proper. A great and beautiful location for wedding celebrations! We love Eastwood!

Words truly canāt express how much we loved having our wedding at Eastwood. Truly the most gorgeous venue, and working with Emma was a dream. The cottage right on the property was also incredibly convenient, both for staying there prior to/following the wedding and for getting ready. The lighting was v good for pictures and there was lots of room for ~7 of us getting ready all day. HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Eastwood Farm and Winery is one of the MOST beautiful wedding venues in the Charlottesville area. Not only is it close to the center of town (11-12 minutes), but it has amazing views from the terrace and mountaintop. The barn is the perfect rustic background that can be decorated a variety of ways. The Eastwood team is amazing and super helpful as well!

Not only is it close to the center of town (11-12 minutes), but it has amazing views from the terrace and mountaintop. Emma is incredible - she is so kind and responsive, and not only supported every single vision and idea that I had, but worked to help make it come alive. Eastwood is the perfect combination of mountain winery vibes while still being accessible to the downtown mall (only a 10 min drive!). Emma is an absolute dream to work with ā kind, patient, responsive, informative, and helpful. She was quick to send me many seating arrangements, discuss wine packages with us, point us in the direction of vendors, and keep me calm. The morning of my wedding, when we decided to go with the rain plan and move the entire ceremony under the tent, it was Emma on the phone who was able to calm me down. She and my planner helped orchestrate the move to under the tent and the wedding went just as smoothly and as beautifully as it would have out on the terrace. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough ā not only is it stunning but you get to work with the best team!

We knew we wanted to have our wedding at Eastwood Farm & Winery just from seeing it online, but taking the official walkthrough with Emma sealed the deal. Not only is it in a beautiful natural setting, but they have also thought ahead to accommodate every wedding detail and need in a thoughtful, tasteful way.We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the tent level, and it was even more beautiful than we had envisioned! The landscaping framed all of the decorations well and provided a beautiful background, and the tent is exactly what we would have picked out if we had chosen it ourselves. There was plenty of room for 145 guests but it all still felt intimate, and the kids attending were able to run around without issue.On top of the beautiful setup, the Eastwood team is incredible! From the first email, Emma was extremely responsive and went above and beyond in being helpful - including meeting us for a walkthrough on a day that the venue was technically closed, helping us think through table arrangements for seating and rental/budget implications, and figuring out our wine order with patience. They also already have an established relationship with a lot of other vendors in the area, and that was also a great help and reassurance through our planning. Nothing phased them and nothing around the venue was stressful. Overall, we could not recommend Eastwood more - thanks to both the beauty of the venue itself, the proximity to Charlottesville, and the team! We are so glad that it will always be a special place we can return to.

Overall, we could not recommend Eastwood more - thanks to both the beauty of the venue itself, the proximity to Charlottesville, and the team! Eastwood Farm and Winery was the absolute most beautiful and perfect place for our wedding 7/23/22! The location being so close to town coupled with the stunning mountain views, wildflower hill and multiple spots from which to choose for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception won us over immediately. At Eastwood, you feel like you are far from town and nestled in the mountains, but yet just a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville! Emma Morel was punctual from the start, getting back to us immediately and with great enthusiasm. She gave us a tour of the venue within a short time of us contacting them and was extremely organized and professional, which was very helpful given all the questions we had. Emma explained all of the details related to having a wedding at the venue, but was never pushy or over eager. In fact, before we even started our tour, Emma sat us down and asked us about our story and how we came to this point, which was very personal and we appreciated that alot! Emma was just amazing from the first time we met her and was always responsive, professional, kind and genuine. We are so happy that we chose Eastwood Farm and Winery for our wedding and have visited there many other times and will continue to do so. The staff worked wonderfully with our planner and again, Emma was nothing short of a 10 each time we needed her. Thank you!

Eastwood is absolute perfection and a dream for a wedding. We were the first couple to book with them and at that point it was purely for the natural beauty of the winery. Over the past several years we have been so lucky to watch their team and establishment grow into a venue that is good all the way through: from their phenomenal team who will support every dream you have for your day (BIG shout out to Emma Morel for even helping us arrange a late night soft pretzel delivery), to the evident care that they put into every new project they undertake. There are so many fantastic locations on the property that we couldn't even include them all in our wedding weekend but trust me that you will want to try and use every single gorgeous space they have. We hosted the rehearsal dinner on the veranda, the ceremony at the mountain top, the cocktail hour on the lowest terrace, and the reception at the tent--guests commented how incredible having a different space for each piece of the day was, as it allowed us to build tailored atmospheres and let guests feel like they were exploring! The winery continues to get more incredible all the time and you couldn't pick a better spot to start or celebrate your marriage.

We cannot say enough good things about Eastwood Farm & Winery and the staff there. They were exceedingly professional, easy to work with, and the venue is absolutely beautiful. Emma in particular was the best and so responsive, and helped answer so many questions we had! We were lucky to find Eastwood as our reception venue. We feel like we found a hidden gem and 100% recommend this venue! The entire staff, especially Emma, were among the kindest people we interacted with throughout the entire wedding planning process. The welcomed us with open arms, and constantly provided us updates as they expanded their property. We utilized the barn and veranda, and both were beautiful. We were able to briefly sneak away to the mountaintop for some amazing pictures as well. Even on a rainy windy afternoon, the venue was perfect. The wine was delicious, especially the wine slushies for cocktail hour. We are extremely happy that we got to celebrate at Eastwood!

Meet the Eastwood Farm and Winery Team
Emma Morel (Manager) Emma Morel grew up in Charlottesville and lives just outside of town with her husband, two sons and dog, Bennett. Her background is in psychology and education, and she taught pre-algebra out in Madison County before joining the Eastwood team in 2021. She loves meeting with couples and learning about their vision for their special day, and then being a resource for them as they navigate the wedding planning process and seeing that vision to come to life at Eastwood.
