Looking for perfect wedding venue for your Colorado wedding? You and your guests will have exclusive use to one of our venues on our Colorado Ranch. We host only one event per day, per location. Conveniently located one hour north of Denver, Colorado and one hour south of southern Wyoming in the Sweetheart City of Loveland, Colorado; Ellis Ranch is your perfect Colorado wedding location. This venue is just beautiful. We got married at the carriage house (there are 2 venues at this location) and it couldn't have been more wonderful. The ceremony site is lined with beautiful wood benches and the background is where their horses roam. The reception area is on a beautiful wood balcony with all the perfect feels. The backdrop to every angle is hills, horses, beautiful trees. The downside is the getting ready area is outdated. They made enhancements to it from the first time we went, but it can still use some newer upkeep. Shawn and Kim are great owners and were very responsive through our wedding process. We had so many compliments on how cute the venue and setting was!

Ellis Ranch was honestly the perfect spot for our wedding. We were able to bring in our own food for catering and weren't bogged down by \"preferred vendors\". It was really nice to be able to have whichever vendors we chose to have there. Additionally, it was a huge point for the staff at Ellis to already have tables and chairs setup ready to go so we could just focus on decorating for the ceremony and reception. We really loved the outdoor and indoor and how there wasn't an extra charge for having the ceremony outdoors and the reception indoors. Shawn and Kim were very good at communicating leading up to and on our wedding day. They were so great about listening to our wants and making them a reality. The only downside was that we couldn't get in until 1 unless we paid extra. Other than that, everything ran so smoothly and the Ellis' made sure it was as stress free of a wedding as can be. I would recommend this place to any bride getting married in the Wyoming/Colorado area.

Ellis Ranch is a wonderful venue for a wedding. We had an October wedding and Ellis helps the day go so smoothly. What you get for the price is a lot: set up and tear down of the ceremony site and reception site, any caterer your heart desires, and a smooth streamlined process. We chose Forever Entertainment as our DJ/MC, and photographer/videographer and they have worked with Ellis so much that it made our day even better. Ellis does make you utilize their bar services and you cannot bring in outside alcohol, but overall they provide mixed drinks, beer, wine, ciders, white claws, etc so it was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!

My wedding was AWESOME, and a lot of that had to do with Ellis Ranch. Shawn & Kim were amazing, and the venue was beautiful. We barely had to decorate due to the look of the barn, it was already so pretty. It was big and beautiful, fitting all of our guests and giving us plenty of space for dancing. The ceremony site is so cool with the benches, and is located so conveniently outside the reception area. I can't express enough how happy I am I chose Ellis Ranch to host my wedding; it made the night so much more memorable.

Shawn is absolutely fantastic to work with. He is engaging, funny, honest and so down to earth that I felt like he was a friend. He was always honest about ways to help us save money, about what he has seen work and not work. Our wedding turned out just like what I envisioned. A dream come true wedding. Our daughter chose Ellis Ranch for her wedding and we couldn't be happier with the owners and venue! The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and assured the perfect wedding. Every aspect of the ceremony and reception was organized and the communication with the owners was wonderful. I had so many guests comment on what a perfect wedding it was and how much fun they had at the reception. The venue is worth every penny (and be sure to hire the horse and carriage!) They truly helped our daughter create a fairly tale wedding!!

My husband and I had our wedding on July 21st, 2017 at the Ellis Ranch Event Center in Loveland, CO. First of all, as a horse lover, one of the main reasons we chose Ellis Ranch was because of the carriage ride, and I can honestly say, IT WAS SO WORTH IT!! I mean how many brides can say they were escorted to and from the isle in a horse drawn carriage? We chose the event center because we originally started out with a guest list of almost 200, and even though our final guest count ended up being a little less than 100, I am still glad we chose the event center. It gave us plenty of room to move around and I loved the rustic design and up-lighting. The day of our wedding it started to rain, so we were both worried because we had be looking forward to having our ceremony outside. Shawn calmly assured us, “ we’ll wait a few minutes to see if it stops, and if it doesn’t, we’ll wait a few more minutes.” We ended up having our ceremony outside, and although we still got spit on a little, it was well worth it. Kim and Shawn, and all of the Ellis family and staff were so friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL venue to any couple looking to “get hitched”. We highly recommend Ellis Ranch for your wedding! Not only is it affordable, but they work with you as much as you want! The venue offered everything we wanted and provided excellent service before, during and after the wedding. I chose to be my own wedding planner and would not have been successful without the well-organized process Ellis has. They gave us a list of things we need to remember on the wedding day, provided us with plenty of options for decorating, bar service and linens. My favorite part was they let us have the wedding we wanted, they would offer advice when needed but allowed us to make it our own. The facility was spotless and everything was setup exactly like we had asked the moment we walked in the venue for our wedding day. The horse and carriage ride into the ceremony is well worth the money, I still have family members, friends and coworkers coming up to me raving about how “magical” that entrance was!

We found this gem nestled in the foothills of Loveland, and went to visit. The owners are great people! They are down to earth, and went way out of their way to work with us to find a date. The day of the wedding, the owners were available for help and questions, but gave us room to enjoy ourselves. The venue itself was beautiful for an outdoor wedding, with rock bluffs nearby. The arena was huge, too! We were able to have all of our guests inside with ample room for people to dance and socialize. We couldn't have been happier with our day. I highly recommend this venue!

We had a wonderful time at Ellis Ranch. As a child, I grew up visiting Colorado. Once upon a time Ellis was a working ranch. I rode my first horse here. Knowing they only do wedding and events here, I knew we had to check it out for our wedding. It really was a perfect destination. We chose the carriage house vs the arena since our wedding was under 150 guest. The ceremony site was beautiful. We didn't over heat in the dinner area. The deck made a great place to dance and mingle and make s'mores. All of my guests were amazed when I made my entrance,with my parents, on a horse drawn carriage. All in all, it was the perfect day. Thanks Kim and Sean for a memory of a life time.

My husband and I got married at Ellis Ranch this fall. Throughout the entire planning process, Shawn and Kim Ellis were very prompt in their communication and very accommodating. The facility was very clean and well prepared for our arrival on our wedding day. Our guests had wonderful things to say about the venue and even reported it was one of the best venues they have been to. The highlights were the fall colors and perfect weather for our outdoor ceremony, the big dance floor, and the overall large size of the venue lending a spacious and rustic atmosphere. We would highly recommend this venue to any bride/groom.

So easy to work with and very affordable! We got married at the carriage house and it as everything we ever wanted! We could bring in our own catering; which was a simple and easy process. They had the linens that was wanted and the perfect decorations for our \"mountainy\" wildflower wedding. We had been told by MANY people how beautiful our venue was, it saved us money on decorations because the place is beautiful by itself! It did rain after the ceremony; which turned out to be the best part, they had a plan B that would have worked out great but all our guests decided to stay out on the patio and dance in the rain! Of course here in Colorado, it lasted about 10 minutes and then the weather was perfect!

Ellis Ranch is a beautiful location for a wedding. We had the Carriage House, 85 guests, and it was perfect!The view behind the gazebo where the ceremony was, is simple gorgeous. There is a huge shade tree over the deck where the reception was hosted and it kept the guests cool, which was needed for an end of June wedding.Only bummer about the place is that music has to end at 10am, and the place needs to be cleared by 11pm. And, they really should invest in a cord-free microphone.But, these are minor details and we wouldn't change a thing. Our wedding day was beautiful.

Attended a wedding here. I cannot give anything but my experience of the day and I have to say I was underwhelmed. We had a lovely view of a grassy slope but no mountains. The reception area was so echoey we could not hear any of the speeches. The bartender insulted several guests and drinks were over priced. The cake, the garter toss and the wedding party tables were all out of sight. It was the most awkward and disappointing wedding I have attended in Colorado, as yet. Guests left hours before it was supposed to end. I would think long and hard about guest needs before booking here. Sorry! At least the bride was beautiful.

The scenery is beautiful and this family run business will cut out all the stress. They are super helpful and will work with you. They have been in the business for a long time and know the little details that you might forget. Awesome outside seating area (we had around 200 but they accommodate about double that) and a great indoor place next door for the reception. Great scenery for pictures. Had a great experience with them and would highly recommend it

The leaves were amazing and the staff really does come through in so many ways. Of course, you have to be ok with a bit of a dirty dress by the end of the night but that didn't matter much to me. Ellis ranch offers a variety of costs depending on day, season and service - for our large wedding it was by far the most affordable. The owners are such friendly and reliable people and the option to bring your own caterer is huge in terms of saving options. Overall its a lovely venue!

I am so glad that we went with Ellis Ranch for our wedding venue. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, but the owners were fantastic. One of the owners was our security guard for the evening and he made everything go flawlessly! We did not have to worry about anything because he was helping to make sure everything went smoothly. Also, the pictures from the ranch have turned out perfectly because of how gorgeous everything is there. Thank you Ellis for making our special day so memorable!!

We had our wedding here June 26th,2011. It is a beautiful backdrop for pictures nice red rock cliff bluff right next to the venue is amazing. Having the venue for the wedding and the reception was great didn't have to give direction to multiple locations and made it so you didn't feel rushed between sites. The people are very friendly and the value is great, you get the wedding site, reception site, and a DJ for the money you spend. They also have options for riding a horse drawn carriage into the venue to deliver the bride which gives you that princess touch. Only complaint I would be able to say is that the location for getting ready bridal dressing and groom dressing area were not very photogenic but our photographer worked with what was there and it turned out great. All and All I don't think we could have picked a better venue.

The Ellis Ranch was the only place I look at that was actually pretty. Everywhere else is only staged to be pretty. The Ellis Ranch is gorgeous, and Shawn and Kim Ellis take excellent care of their brides. I am just delighted with how my wedding turned out, and plenty of thanks is owed to Shawn for making things run so smoothly!

My husband and I chose this venue because it was so beautiful and versatile. Shawn and his fiance Kim were very easy to work with and very prompt with correspondence. They worked hard at working with our schedules and our other vendors schedules. It's a \"do-it-yourself\" venue where you get to plan and create the wedding of your dreams. They give great tips and tricks on how to master this and what vendors they recommend. Because you have to create your wedding, we advise you plan well in advance. Our only criticism of the place is that you have to use their preferred DJ and Decorator and the other preferred vendors will contact you repeatedly to see if you need their services (annoying but not a deal breaker). We recommend Ellis Ranch to anyone who wants a beautiful and fun wedding. They even offer a carriage ride for bringing in the bride. This was what my guests talked about the most. Put the Royal Wedding to shame and go with Ellis Ranch and the carriage ride entrance!

I don't consider myself a \"country girl\" at all, and with the prospect of getting married in their dirt-floor event center was not thrilling to say the least. However, the idea grew on me. It had an out door area for ceremonies and also an area to move the ceremony inside in case of rain it poured all day long on our wedding day! The staff was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. They spent a lot of time rearanging and making sure everything was perfect for us. They also have strong relationships with vendors so they can help you find good reliable services.;Dirt floor! I guess it is a ranch but I could do with out dirt floors!
