Outdoor Venue with Beautiful Covered Pavilion
Evergreen Gardens is a magical outdoor wedding venue, dedicated to providing a tranquil and sustainable space for your event with friends and family. This beautiful, inclusive wedding venue features multiple garden areas, an outdoor covered pavilion, two getting ready suites, a prep kitchen, a built-in bar, fire pit and more, making it the perfect place to celebrate. Situated in Whatcom County only seven miles north of Bellingham, our 4 acres of lush, landscaped grounds offer an escape beneath the trees for the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience! Evergreen Gardens boasts towering evergreens and picturesque flower gardens. You and your partner can say your "I dos" surrounded not only by your loved ones but also by the awe-inspiring grounds, making this the ideal spot for nature lovers. No need to worry if there is some rain, as the outdoor pavilion is covered and has detachable walls that can be set up to protect your special day! Our event season runs from May through early October to take advantage of the amazing PNW summers! We are able to host as few as 50 people for an intimate gathering or as many as 175 for something more significant; we accommodate all party sizes. And we include tables, chairs, glassware, patio heaters, s'mores sticks, a roomful of decorations and more to help reduce additional rental costs. When booking with us, you are are also booking the dependability of a team who is high touch, involved and committed to the highest level of service and experience. Wow! What a beautiful venue! I don't even know how to put into words how much this beautiful, magical space added to the feel of our wedding. From the first minute meeting with Jen to explore the space, we both knew it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The natural environment, the beautiful landscaping, the privacy and intimacy...It was everything I had imagined my wedding day to be. In addition to the beauty, it was a great value in both cost and ease of use. Most of the items that you would need to accommodate guests, as well as the option to use numerous and varied tablescape items and interesting display tables are included in the rental, making for an easy planning and setup process. Jen was also able to point us in the right direction with suggestions for vendors to use - everything from bartenders to photographers to caterers. We used most of the vendors she suggested and, well, our day was PERFECT! We wouldn't change a thing and will forever remember the feeling of making a commitment in that beautiful place.

They were proactive with their communication, answered all of our questions big or small, and were familiar with a ton of vendors in the area. Months later our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!

My husband and I love so many things about Evergreen Gardens that I don't even know where to begin. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - the natural beauty speaks for itself. The layout of the grounds is perfect for guests to wander around the trees and gardens during cocktail hour, and enjoy the sunset during the reception. We received endless compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the venue was and how we hit the jackpot - we couldn't agree more! And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jenn - she was absolutely wonderful to work with! Very communicative and helpful, ready to answer any questions and provide any recommendations that she could. Our bartender, Boel, from the \"approved\" list was fantastic as well! We highly recommend Evergreen Gardens if you're looking for an outdoor venue!

The new owners of Evergreen Gardens have elevated a beautiful venue to new levels of splendor. The manicured laws, beautiful florals, and vibrant evergreens are exactly the Northwest secret garden where we envisioned our family and friends celebrating with us. Katie and Jen are both outgoing and kind. When we asked if the venue was open to LGBTQIA+ weddings, they were embarrassed/sad that this even had to be a question. Not only is this a beautiful place, it was also a safe place for our Gay wedding. Also, Anna, our bartender from the approved list, was BEYOND helpful. She checked in often and was constantly helping with everything between pouring drinks. The reasonable rates, beauty, and personality of this venue and all involved makes this an amazing place to have your perfect day.

Evergreen Gardens is one of the most beautiful venues I could have ever imagined to have my wedding at. It truly is a hidden gem! Most of my family was coming from out of state (California and Texas) and were in complete awe when they saw this venue. The trees, flowers, cabin, etc. gave us that Pacific Northwest vibe we were looking for. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for that \"Twilight\" inspired wedding venue. The new owners are incredibly helpful and easy to work with.

Evergreen Gardens is the dreamiest PNW forest fairytale venue. We got married in August, and the gardens were blooming and popping with colors. We loved the serene vibe and outdoor beauty of the entire venue. The new owner Jenn is incredibly responsive, professional, helpful, patient, and kind in all of her communication and on the day-of. She has done a wonderful job renovating outdated bridal and grooms suites to make them modern and chic. We can not recommend this venue enough! Thank you so much Evergreen Gardens for making our day so special.

This venue was amazing! we were so happy to have our wedding and reception at evergreen gardens. patty the owner was so supportive and was there for us every step of the way during all the unknown of covid-19. The day of, it rained up until the moment I went to walk down the isle, so we had the ceremony under the beautiful huge covered area and it was magical! Even with the rain off and on throughout the day, it was so amazing. such an awesome location surrounded by tons of natural greenery and beauty. all of our guests kept commenting n on how amazing our venue was and how beautiful the surrounding were. it felt like a steal of a deal too with all of the extras that come with the venue.

They have a variety of vases and candle holders to choose from as well as other decorations. There is glassware for rent at a good price to help make a reception a breeze. The owners are facilitating and responsive, making wedding planning go smoothly. Local vendors know the venue and respect the owners, taking the responsibility from your shoulders from having to guide them on set-up. My guests kept commenting on what a perfectly beautiful place Evergreen Gardens is. Wonderful venue!!!

WOW! This place is beautiful and Patti and Ray are so incredibly kind and nice to to work with. Everyone said how much fun they had, how amazing it looked, and how it was so seamless. Patti and Ray go completely above and beyond. They started the s'more fire for us and kept it going, they wheeled out the little space heaters when it got chilly, and they handed out blankets for our guests. All their recommendations for other vendors were the best recommendations we got and we had an absolute blast! I highly recommend it here to everyone, there is tons of space and such nice people to be around who will help out in so many ways. There is even a room of assorted wedding props they allow you to use for free!

I have been to many wedding ceremony and receptions at Evergreen Gardens and the owners are the most respectful and caring people. They care about their prospective clients, people whom they book, their guests and the vendors. The grounds are spectacular and always maintained to perfection. Highly recommend Evergreen Gardens. I have read some of these negative posts and my guess is that these people have never been to Evergreen Gardens and/or met the owners. Schedule an appointment and go check out the venue and meet the owners, you be happy and satisfied that you did.

Let me begin by saying -- very happy with the experience. Very happy. Wondering venue with wonderful people. Had the time of our lives. Honestly couldn't recommend it more. But I feel like I have to address the ongoing comments I'm now seeing on this page; all the reviews are either 5 star or 1 star -- and the only thing separating them is the fact that, when pressed, one of the owners disagreed on same-sex marriage? They were asked their opinion, right? How does an owner's opinion have enough weight to merit a scathing review? Can we not be reasonable? The opinion affected their Responsiveness? Really? What if they were atheists and you wanted to have prayer at the wedding? What if they were vegetarians and you were excited about your steak dinner? Seems like overkill and frankly, kinda malicious considering the stunning care these people have taken of their landscape and business.

The owners are against LGBTQ weddings, and they hurt and rejected a friend of mine whose beautiful and loving soul radiates only love. Why? Solely because of her sexual orientation. Do not give a dime to this place. Love is love, and this matters.

I have friends who were treated very kindly until the owner found out she was marrying another woman. They may begrudgingly allow to hold your event there, but why support a business with your $$ that doesn't support your love for another?

It turned out better than I ever imagined! The owners are so nice, the included items are great and the landscaping is beautiful. Its obvious the owners care about how the place looks. The price was really good for what is included as well. They even let us come 2 hours earlier than the scheduled time at no extra cost.

Katie and Jen (Owner) We are Katie and Jen, the owners and hosts of Evergreen Gardens. We have been good friends since college and in 2021, we joined forces to acquire this immaculate property. Inclusivity, sustainability and giving back to our community are important causes to us, which we incorporate into our business.
