Emely Alves(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2021 I just got back from my honeymoon and now I finally have the time to leave the amazing review that Firethorne deserves. Right after I got engaged I started looking for wedding venues, but everything seemed so above our budget, and if it was affordable it wasn't nice enough for our dream wedding. I finally reached out to Firethorne and after a phone call with Bethany, where she gave me a quote right away and explained everything I needed to know, I set up a visit to meet the venue. It was love at first sight. The venue was beautiful! Outdoors area had the perfect gazebo for a ceremony and indoors was very elegant. I didn't even look at other places anymore and sealed the deal the very same day. Bethany was extremely helpful through the whole process, always promptly answering every question and concern I had along the way. The staff on the wedding day was super nice and pleasant with me and my guests. My wedding day was PERFECT! Thank you Firethorne! If you are looking for a nice, elegant venue that can still be affordable (be on the lookout for weddings Friday and Sunday, much more cheaper), this is the place. Reviewed on 21-09-2021
Sherrie Webb(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2019 Firethorne Country Club was an AWESOME place for our daughter's wedding. The exterior grounds are absolutely beautiful. The patio along with the St. Andrew's room and dance floor provide great flow for a wedding reception. The St. Andrews room can accommodate up to 180 persons. Pam, the event coordinator, was very professional, easy to work with, and very responsive. The food was excellent, and we have had many guests tell us how much they enjoyed the wedding reception. Erin Laskowski(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-05-2018 We had our wedding at Firethorne this May and it was great! The entire event ran smoothly and all of the staff were very attentive and professional. Pam, who coordinates the weddings, was amazing thru the entire process. She was always prompt to answer emails and my many many questions the month leading up to the wedding. She also eliminated my need to hire a day of coordinator because she runs the event the day of. You get a lot of value for your money at this venue and we have gotten many many compliments on the food. The venue is also beautiful so you do not need to spend a lot on decor, etc. Would highly recommend adding Firethorne to your possible venue list. Reviewed on 04-06-2018

It is a gorgeous venue and everyone we encountered was very friendly and eager to serve. Their event coordinator Pam took care of every single detail and the entire day ran flawlessly. The food was delicious and quite a few people commented on how good dinner was and that they went back for seconds. We can't believe how lucky we were to have had our wedding there. I highly recommend it. Our wedding day was just perfect and fulfilled all of our hopes and dreams. Reviewed on 15-05-2018
Daniela Salazar(groom)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-04-2018 I recently had a wedding at Firethorne country club. Though this was meant to be a very special time for me and my now wife, we experienced some things that left a very sour taste in our mouth. After a night of fun and dancing, we soon discovered that a handful of wedding cards were stolen out of our card box by one of the employees that works there. After some back-and-forth phone calls to proper authority, we got in touch with management at the club. They informed me that the incident was caught on camera. After going back-and-forth with management, I was told that, knowing that a lot of money was stolen, there corporate team decided to not do anything to rectify the problem aside from “staying in touch”! It is scary because a lot of members and people that go to play golf there entrust their valuables to be secure. This is very upsetting especially for anyone getting married who would never think of something like that to happen, and then even more so for a place as reputable as Firethorne to not rectify and do whatever they can to make it right . It is embarrassing when this situation becomes the talk about the wedding with the guests that attended. So, to anyone who is considering this club as a possible venue for an event or even to become a member may want to consider shopping around first. Reviewed on 24-04-2018
Laura Mackay(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-12-2017 I am in still in awe of how perfect Firethorne was for our reception. I knew that it would be difficult to plan a wedding while finishing up college a few hours away, but Pam made the experience a breeze! The venue included everything we could have ever wanted (in-house coordinator, appetizers, main course, champagne toast, bar service, waiters, silverware/place settings, easels/lanterns/candelabras/other decorations, etc.), and they set up and tore down for us! Pam had worked previously with almost all of our vendors, and she made sure that the evening went by without a single hitch. The food was ridiculously good (our friends are still raving), and the Christmas decorations that were already set up made it so that any flowers we added were just icing on the cake! I know we're biased, but this was absolutely the best wedding my husband and I have ever been to. We can't wait to recommend Firethorne to all of our friends!! Reviewed on 02-01-2018

Ruth Mast(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-08-2017 Firethorne was an absolutely beautiful place for our August 5, 2017 wedding! Pam Hart, the event coordinator, did an exceptional job in orchestrating everything and making sure everything ran smoothly. She has been with Firethorne for a long time and knows all the ins and outs of that place! The outdoor ceremony was set up perfectly by Firethorne staff. The grounds were beautiful for pictures. The veranda was an awesome spot for cocktail hour. The indoor reception area was spacious and beautiful. We hardly needed any decor. The dance floor was a large permanent fixture. It was a bit costly at around 14K for 140 guests, but I was very pleased with everything. The food, which was buffet style, was delicious as well. Many people commented on how great the food was. I would definitely recommend this venue for a picturesque outdoor wedding and indoor reception. If you want things done right (and I am a perfectionist), Firethorne is the place for you! Abby Peltier(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-04-2017 My husband and I had our wedding at Firethorne Country Club and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing staff! Their venue coordinator, Pam, is THE BEST. Leading up to the wedding she was always available to answer questions about the space and the planning process. Having her on site the day of the wedding to organize all of the set up, keep everyone on time (staff, vendors, and wedding party) and even tell us when to walk down the aisle made for the most stress free day I have ever had! I cannot think of a single thing that slipped by her, and it was so nice to have someone handling all of the questions that normally would be getting asked of the bride. The rest of the Firethorne staff was also incredibly friendly, professional, and fun, and the food was AMAZING. And every single person who worked at Firethorne that day was kind and incredibly helpful, from the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff. When I first got engaged, I had visited over 30 potential venues... and none of those locations seemed to be what I was looking for. Then, I visited my 31st potential venue. FireThorne Country Club. I knew that this was the venue for me. Even, my fiance (now Husband).... was excited about this venue. We met up with Pam Hart. There's only one word to sum up Pam..... AMAZING!\rNot only was my husband and I in love with the venue, but we absolutely loved Pam. Pam was so flexible and her customer service is the best that I had ever experienced in life. I was a bride that had a million and one questions, and Pam was always responsive. I thought that I was the only wedding that they had planned all year. At least that's how you feel. She allowed me to make tweaks to the meal. Speaking of the meal.... The cocktail hour and reception food was soooo good. I am getting hungry just thinking about it now. lol\r\rI plan on putting a gallery of pictures from the wedding on to a website. Amanda Kedia(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-01-2012 I had my reception here- and it was a beautiful night! The club itself is so gorgeous and full of windows and scenery that you really don't need to decorate the place at all (big money saver!) but if you do want to do any decor they have a huge supply closet filled with tons of vases/candles/etc. that are leftover from previous weddings that you can use any or all of - for free! The event director is so laid back and easy to work with. She and her staff take all the worry and stress out of planning an amazing event! The bar area is gorgeous and opens to a patio overlooking the golf course. Perfect for cocktail hour before dinner with a great sunset view. AMAZING photography places everywhere! Very fairy tale like stone staircase and arches. Inside is open with high wooden arches. Playroom upstairs for children, etc. or could be used for bridal room. Prices were very reasonable and the menu is able to be extremely customized. My husband is from India and his family has very specific dietary restrictions. We wanted a mix of classic Indian dishes but also options for non-adventurous eaters. We sent a list of recipes and came in for a tasting. The Italian chef did an awesome job at pulling off Indian dishes that the in-laws said tasted like home! They even made a separate dish for his mom accommodating her dietary needs. They don't have valet parking but have a drop off area at the door and tons of parking close by. Coat check room and assistant. Wait staff was great. Everything went so smoothly and seamlessly. I definitely recommend everything about this place for a wedding reception. I didn't do my ceremony there because I wanted a church. But they have a beautiful set up for an outdoor wedding. You do not need to be a member of the club to use the facility. And your guests can get discounted rates if anyone wants to play a round of golf! Great activity for the guys and dads while the girls are doing spa activities and getting ready! Reviewed on 30-03-2012
