My husband and I were looking for the perfect location to get married: he wanted a barn, I wanted a vineyard, we wanted a wedding weekend with a place for our bridal party and their significant others to stay. We found Greengate Ranch & Vineyard very serendipitously and it was basically fate that GGRV had our exact date open ONLY in the month of May. After viewing the grounds and all of the available locations, we were sold. Greengate is downright gorgeous. We chose the barn to have our ceremony in and had the cocktail hour outside of the barn, and we chose the stables to have our reception in. Jena was very professional and made our wedding weekend very comfortable. She knows exactly what she's doing with the property. The housing accommodations are designed to perfection and we couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect location for our wedding.

Jena was an absolute joy to work with. She was always available and willing to answer any questions we might have. Jena not only helped with our 2021 wedding but helped plan and then postpone our May 2020 wedding. She was always understanding, caring, giving us multiple options. She made sure we felt taken care of and always in the loop. I truly believe we wouldn't have been able to do this wedding without her and her help! We decided to have our bridal party and some family stay on property with us for a 3 day weekend. The houses are all stunning, extremely well taken care of, clean, and had everything we could have needed.

I knew, as soon as I stepped foot onto Greengate's property, that I had found the perfect place for our dream wedding. And, boy, do I love being right! :)The property is stunning. Our wedding was at the beginning of November, and the foliage on the trees and in the vineyards were beautifully golden, perfect for our autumn wedding. The lawns were also gorgeous and green (my favorite color). I was a nervous bride, and I woke up every morning around 5am. But I would sit outside in the crisp morning air, and calm myself by gazing at the beautiful rolling vineyards and listen to the lovely breeze blowing through the branches of the pepper trees. The bridal party and some of our closest friends and family stayed on the property, and all of them marveled at how it was like staying at a luxury resort! All of the houses were so comfortable, and provided such a great space for our welcome party and all the last-minute wedding prep. I and the bridesmaids had our hair and makeup done in the Yosemite Room in the Ranch House. Plenty of space and beautiful space to hang out with my girls!We took our family portraits in the backyard of the Ranch House, had our ceremony at the pond, and our reception in front of and inside the beautiful barn. The property offered so much variety for the different elements of our special day, and our guests loved it. The catering/food prep area was conveniently located near the dining area, and we set up the bar under the walnut tree (which had mason jar candles hanging from the branches). There was a restroom very conveniently located nearby the dining area as well. It's a perfectly designed venue. Corinne and her staff are wonderful. Corinne always responded very promptly to my many questions throughout the many months of planning. And the staff who helped us throughout the wedding weekend (especially Jenna!) were always available to help us and our guests with anything. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.Thank you, Corinne, Jenna, and everyone at Greengate, for giving us the wedding weekend of our dreams!

Greengate is the key to the most incredible wedding weekend (see how I didn't say day) of all time. Corinne and her staff are helpful, accommodating and all around wonderful to work with. Not to mention, have you looked at a photo of this place? It is all sorts of beautiful. We loved that each part of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and dancing) all had different location. It really made it feel like we were progressing through the night. The barn was perfect for our 13 piece band and EVERY single person at our wedding danced. It is very important to note that the venue has a catering kitchen and beautiful bathrooms on site. This really saves money in the long run, not to mention accommodating 20 people on the property overnight. We hosted the bridal party and both families at the three houses on the property and it made the wedding feel like an event. I loved having all our family and friends close throughout the weekend and it helped us get in all the time we wanted with our out of town guests. We also hosted our day-after brunch at the house and brought it catering staff into the BEAUTIFUL catering kitchen at the Ranch House. It fit all our guests perfectly and was a great way to end an incredible weekend. Thank you Greengate Ranch and Vineyard for making all our wedding dreams come true. Hopefully we can convince everyone for a 5 year renewal so we can come back!

The BEST WEEKEND ever!! Greengate is the perfect venue with the perfect accommodations to have a truly magical weekend with family and friends. The staff is amazing, their vendor recommendations are amazing... I couldn't ask for a better way to start this new chapter of our lives!

Jena Wilson (President) I am a San Luis Obispo native and have been with Greengate Ranch & Vineyard for the past five years. As the ranch is our family-run business, I have had the opportunity to watch the property flourish over the years. I'm thrilled to be a part of what we do here - it's an honor to be involved in each and every one of our couple's big day, get to know the families who gather here for the weekend, and feel the happiness that radiates from all of our lovely visitors. What people may not know about is the neat history behind this ranch. I love to share what it once was and has grown to become!
