Jeni Hallgren(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-07-2019 JHMR was an absolute lifesaver and dream to work with!!! We had a very unfortunate situation happen with our original reception venue we had booked for our wedding, and the venue backed out of their contract two months before our wedding. As you can imagine, most reception venues in Jackson Hole were booked for our date at this point and we were in complete panic as all of our guests had already booked flights and accommodations for our destination wedding. We called JHMR and told them our situation and begged them to help us out and host our reception (they were initially planning on being closed that weekend to give their employees time off after the 4th of July weekend was just the weekend prior). Shawn Deus who is head of the event planning at JHMR said that they felt bad about our situation and agreed to host our event!! Shawn was extremely pleasant to work with and got every single detail of our wedding reception perfect in that short two month span that we had to pick menus, alcohol, wedding day timeline, table settings, layout, etc. Our reception was absolutely PERFECT!!! We were amazed that not one thing went wrong. There was nothing we would change about it!! Shawn and her JHMR crew are the absolute best at what they do!! The food is amazing, service was outstanding, it just couldn’t have been better!! I would highly recommend booking your event at the Rendezvous Lodge with JHMR!!!!!! Reviewed on 02-08-2019

Recently married there on June 16th outside on the patio- rented out the entire place Pros: The view is breathtaking. The gondola experience for the guests was a fun element and the food was amazing. Cons: it was like herding cat trying to get them to respond to myself and my wedding planner. There was a good month and a half that it was we heard NOTHING and that was a month before the wedding. I just had to print signs and menus without knowing if the items i was picking were available. Come to find out they took off that time during their slow season and forgot to tell their clients. But even outside of that the entire week before and of the wedding - the event planner, Tyler, would not respond to my wedding planner to make sure everything that was planned would be able to work. Dom did help out by allowing us to go up there for the rehearsal when we were originally told we couldn’t. While i would recommend this place i would just recommend that you make sure the event planner keeps your wedding planner in the loop at all times AND let’s you know if they will be off for an extended period of time.
