Lake Pines Event Center
Established in 1967, Lake Pines began as a 20-site, family-operated campground in rural East Columbus, GA. An old barn served as the site's recreation center, hosting many covered dish dinners, parties, and square dances. Since that time, the owners, Connie and Kenny McCutchen, have poured their love of event planning and the great outdoors into the Lake Pines Event Center. Here, you will find a wonderful venue filled with stained glass windows, antiques, and rustic beauty that can’t be found anywhere else in the area. Lake Pines Event Center wants to help you bring your vision to life, so we offer the freedom of using your own vendors or ones we recommend. We’ll always remember that it’s your special day. Contact us for package information or to schedule a tour. The Barn is now a venue for wedding receptions and events. The Chapel - completed in 1998 - was built from salvaged materials found throughout Georgia. It is a beautiful setting for exchanging vows and hosting photography sessions. The Pavilion - an outdoor ceremony option - can accommodate larger celebrations. The Lillie House has a capacity of 45 (seated) and serves as a bridal suite where you and your party can prepare for the day. It can also be used for tea parties and showers, rehearsal dinners, small receptions, and other intimate gatherings.

Beautiful place, great price only thing I don't like was the 4 hour time limit for wedding. They are really nice people and its a beautiful place.

This venue was so beautiful and nice! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception here! It’s such a hidden gem! We got married in the chapel they have on sight but you can also have your ceremony outside. The reception hall is to die for they have twinkling lights all over the ceiling and it takes your breath away. It was always really affordable! We rented the venue for two whole days. I would recommend Lake Pines to anyone I know!

The venue was absolutely beautiful! Easy to decorate and perfect for outdoor ceremonies. The venue only allowed 4 hours for the event, so that kind of made the reception feel rushed. It was over so fast! That's the only complaint. Debi was very friendly and attentive to our concerns. Loved the place!!

I had a great experience at Lake Pines. I was able to go out there about 4 or 5 times to look at different things I had questions about, and they never acted as if I was bothering them. The location is just beautiful. It was a LOT to clean up though. I recommend paying them to clean up because my family about killed themselves getting it all together. We got the two day package which included the small cottage for us to spend our wedding night in. It was not ideal for that though. Not very luxurious and the window a/c unit had me coughing all night. Also, a spider bit me on my eyelid while I was sleeping. They were just extremely helpful and my experience was a great one.
