What can I say… we had two wonderful events at this venue. We had a welcome party and wedding reception! The food was great! The venues were perfect! The staff was wonderful! We even changed the venue for the welcome party at the last minute and the staff was so… accommodating! I did not feel like it was a problem at all! We were from out of state and we zoomed with the coordinator and stayed in contact via text and email. Venue also has wonderful accommodations!! All guests said how much fun they had and how perfect the place was for breakfast and other meals!I do not think this place can disappoint! Our wedding was in January, so it was a little cold but they could not do anything about that but if they could I bet they would!!

Lanier Islands was the perfect place for our wedding weekend. We went with the intimate ceremony package and absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous views at Oliver Pointe for our ceremony. It made for an unforgettable day. The wedding events staff members were incredible to work with, were always available to answer our questions, and provided great vendor recommendations for all wedding needs (I HIGHLY recommend hiring one of the wedding planners from their list). Every staff member we encountered were so kind. We will definitely celebrate anniversaries at Lanier Islands. 100% recommend!

On 14 October 2023, my wife and I and almost 200 of our closest friends had the distinct pleasure of conducting and attending the wedding of our daughter Allison to the love of her life, Simon. From the start months before through the conclusion and close-out, this was an absolutely incredible event, impeccably planned, coordinated and executed by Lanier Island Weddings led by Olivia Hinze. In this day and age of so many people taking other people's performance for granted, it is imperative that superb performance be immediately and widely recognized, and such is the case for the entire Lanier Islands Weddings management and staff.As one can well imagine, this was an extremely stressful time for my daughter and wife and everyone around them as we all prepared for the big day. This location in Georgia is perfect if you're anticipating a local crowd. It is rather difficult to travel to for friends and family coming from other regions of the US. The closest major airport is over an hour away and can be a difficult ask to have people make travel arrangements around this.However, for those who are local, this property is beautiful and peaceful. Our wedding photos turned out excellent and had many different spots for photos. There's wooded areas, open areas, and water areas to have a wide range of backgrounds for photos. The reason I am ranking this venue 2 stars though is the staff that works at the venue. My wife and I had to go through 3 coordinators from the time of our deposit to the day of our wedding in less than a year. It became stressful over that time due to the lack of confidence with the front desk staff and the coordinators. The front desk staff made it very difficult for our guest to book under our room block and constantly kept telling guests that our wedding didn't exist. On the wedding weekend some guests had the wrong rooms or the rooms were unavailable and given a different one. One scenario was very disappointing where we asked the hotel to book a handicap room due to a family member's ill health, and upon arrival was given a step in shower at the back of the hotel. It was so far away that they had to take a break walking to it. They did not change their room after this was reported. The day of the wedding the venue was supposed to put cocktail tables at our venue but instead put children's tables, when asked to replace them they simply removed the children's tables and did not put cocktail tables out. I later found out our bridal party had to take them from a venue that had a wedding the night before on the property, their quick thinking was the only reason we had any tall tables that evening. When the reception began, I was interrupted by our photographer who informed me the catering captain was not going to allow them to eat because I \"didn't book the right number of vendor meals\" I told her to go read our contract and feed them, which she eventually did and apologized for. At the end of the evening however the staff began to pack up the bar 45 minutes early, did not do a final call and cut us off 30 minutes early. Due to this we rushed our final send off and by the time everything settled the venue was already being cleaned up and was not able to do a final dance with my wife which was the chery on top. It was a very disappointing way to end the otherwise beautiful weekend we all had there. I'm only writing this as a warning to those who are considering this venue, it's very beautiful and a great place to host with your friends and family, just be prepared to deal with the people that are already there.

My fiancé (now husband!!) and I had just moved to GA. Lanier Islands was the first venue we looked at, and it was the last! As soon as we drove through, we had “that feeling” that this was the place. From our sales manager, Celita, to our banquet manager, to every single person working, even those that open that lodge door with a smile on their face. However, the person who truly made this experience so seamless & stress free was our catering manager, Olivia Hinze. I honestly can’t even believe this is her title because the girl does it all!!! If i had a question or the slightest “issue”, I say that lightly because there really wasn’t many, she was right there to answer, fix it or make sure we had whatever we envisioned or needed. Planning weddings are stressful but Olivia made it sooo easy!! She even showed up to our rehearsal dinner and wedding day to check in, make sure everything was perfect & give her well wishes. We have received nonstop compliments on everything: from the friendliness of the staff, to how wonderful the food tasted, even down to how clean & well taken care of the whole island is. We cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back to stay, maybe our one year anniversary, & just enjoy all the resort has to offer. Thank you Lanier Islands & thank you, Olivia!!

My husband and I got married here a couple weeks ago on Venetian pier and it was beautiful! The staff was amazing and made all my thoughts and wants come to life. Being on the water made our pictures amazing. One of the biggest comments of the night was how amazing the food was! Definitely recommend this venue for a smaller intimate wedding. From start to finish it was beautiful.

My husband and I got married here a couple weeks ago on Venetian pier and it was beautiful! The staff was amazing and made all my thoughts and wants come to life. Beautiful, intimate and unique venue. We got married at the Venetian Pier and we couldn't have hoped for a more perfect location. Sales and Catering Manager Dana made the day run so smoothly and all the staff were so professional, kind and attentive. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

We had our wedding here last June 3rd, and had a great experience! It’s nice to be able to stay, dine, and party in the same vicinity. It makes planning for our wedding weekend easy. There were some issues in the beginning due to changing our date and our initial contacts leaving, but Olivia took over and she was exceptional! She made sure all the details are taken care of and some concerns that came up during the weekend are addressed. In the end, we had the best weekend ever and so did our friends and family.

We would like to open heartedly attribute a big part of it's success to Anna Shadburn and Olivia Hinze. Both of them were great partners right from signing the contract to assisting with room block for guests to helping in creating a detailed plan to flawless execution on the day of the event. Both of them demonstrated great attitude with the sole objective of bringing happiness to us and our guests. Throughout the 14 months of interaction, they were very flexible and patient with our requests, and did everything that was possible for them to accommodate for us, at times going out of the way. And they were highly prompt in the communication that helped a long way in easing out the stress that comes with planning such an event.Overall it was a great experience from the start of the interactions 14 months before the event to the closing at mid night on the day of. We could not have asked for anything more. Thanks to Anna and Olivia, and the entire Lanier Islands team!

I can't thank Jacob and Dana enough for all the assistance they gave in the process of getting our Oliver Point wedding set up! Jacob showed us all the venues and answered any questions we had. Dana took over and she was sweet and patient with us. We had a 30 min delay in starting the ceremony but it worked out beautifully. Oliver point is an exquisite place to get married! I recommend it for sure!

We had our wedding at Lake Lanier Islands Resort on 5/6/23 and I truly can’t say enough about what a magical weekend it was! First of all, the process of planning a wedding can seem daunting but the amazing staff starting with Anna Shadburn was so helpful and responsive that it really helped ease the stress of it all. Olivia Hinze took over and really made all our dreams a reality. There were times that I definitely freaked out, and she did such a wonderful job calming me down. And then when it was finally time for the rehearsal dinner and wedding, it was even better than I could possibly imagine!! Our rehearsal dinner was at Venetian Pier and the wedding was at Legacy Pointe. My husband had a pre-wedding event at Gamechanger and we had a post-wedding brunch at Sidney’s. Many guests remarked that this was the best wedding that they had even been too. I am sure that this was definitely in large part because of the staff at LLI. I will be forever grateful to them for the most memorable and perfect wedding ever!!!

We chose Lanier Islands for our wedding weekend because of the beautiful, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We had a great tour with Anna who provided the overall details about the different venues. Then, Cory took over as our Event/Catering Manager, and she did an amazing job coordinating both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Cory was great to work with and made sure all the details were handled to a tee! The Banquet Captains, Christina for the rehearsal dinner at Venetian Pier, and Danitza for the reception at Legacy Point, were most attentive to all the food service needs. Both meals were delicious, and the wait staff and bartenders were all excellent! We chose to use Lanier Islands preferred vendors for the wedding details. Our wedding planner, Jackie from Smooth Tie the Knots, was a true pleasure to work with. She helped us throughout the entire planning process from beginning to end. Jackie and her assistant, Katy, were so helpful and made sure all the wedding day details were in order. Jessica and her team at Design House of Flowers in Buford created a spectacular rustic night at the Venetian Pier for the rehearsal dinner. They also provided beautiful bouquets and arrangements for the ceremony and transformed the Legacy Point tent and pavilion into a beautiful elegant reception for dining and dancing. Malinda and her team at The Baking Grounds in Buford provided delectable sweets for both the rehearsal dinner and reception. Our wedding weekend experience at Lanier Islands was incredible! Every staff member was so nice and friendly from the guard at the entrance gate, the valets and bell staff, the front desk staff, the servers at Sidney’s and the bartenders and servers at Bullfrogs. Also, our king suite at the Lodge was immaculate and the housekeeping staff was also very friendly. Our wedding guests enjoyed the pool as well as golfing and spa services. It was the perfect venue for our wedding and for our family and friends to enjoy a little slice of North Georgia and Lake Lanier!

Everything from start to finish was incredible with Lanier Islands. Communication was prompt, and all of my requests were immediately taken care of. Olivia is the best, and I’m so happy she was part of the team that made my visions into a reality. All of my guests were in awe of this venue due to it’s beauty and the food was subpar. Everything from start to finish was incredible with Lanier Islands. Communication was prompt, and all of my requests were immediately taken care of. Olivia is the best, and I’m so happy she was part of the team that made my visions into a reality. All of my guests were in awe of this venue due to it’s beauty and the food was subpar. This was the wedding I dreamed of as a little girl! They were very accommodating to all our needs. Dana P. was so helpful with everything. Any questions or concerns we had, she was very quickly to respond / act.. Even better than that - she made everything run so smoothly and explained EVERYTHING to us. We had no idea what we were doing and she gave us plenty of advice and made us super comfortable.... The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful!!! I highly recommend doing it on the lake during the fall, makes for beautiful photos!!! It was supposed to rain our wedding day and we decided not to move it inside just in case. Well the rain went away right before the wedding and the sun came out as the ceremony started happening!

Olivia, the catering manager, was always on top of things and very responsive, which made the process run stress free. The banquet staff and captain, Yudy, was always ensuring that the food and service was top notch. The food was also exceptional! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

We toured Lanier Islands right after we got engaged and booked our wedding that day! The team at LLI was incredible from the beginning of wedding planning through our wedding weekend. The ceremony and reception spaces offered so much off what we needed while also allowing us to make everything as tailored to us as a couple as we wanted. All of our guests loved staying on the islands for the weekend in the logde and the villas and everyone coplimented us on how beautiful the wedding was. We found many of our vendors on their preferred vendor list and they too were amazing. The food for dinner and appetizers was so good and the staff made sure that we sat down and ate during our reception. Olivia was our catering manager and she was kind, fun, attentive and incredibly organized. I honestly wouldn't change a thing about our wedding weekend because LLI made it as stress free as possible. If there were issues, I never knew about them because they were handled professionally and quickly. I would absolutely recommend LLI Weddings!

I would give this negative stars, if possible. I just had my wedding here this past weekend, and honestly wish I didnt spend the money for it. The venue was a high cost with low service return. The venues are very steep, and require you to walk down, however we were promised to have people golf carting our guests up and down that would require assistance, however, it ended up falling on the shoulders of my SIL. She had to spend most of the evening driving people up and down, instead of enjoying my wedding. Our catering manager, whom we had meetings with, said she would be there to oversee things go smoothly on the day of the wedding, however, we did not see her once. She had told us many things at our detail meeting, and did not follow through with most things. I would not waste my money here. We also paid for an open bar and didn't recieve of the liquor at the end of the evening. They also only had one bartender for a 100+ guest event.

It was such a pleasure to work with Dana, the event manager/coordinator for our intimate wedding. She was fabulous working with us in making selections and accommodating the changes we wanted. She allowed our coordinator to come in after hours to execute the extravagant decor we envisioned for our reception. She and the intimate wedding ceremony location deserve a solid four stars. Though the staff that provided the banquet service for our reception was pleasant, the attention to detail and service was lacking. Several items were left off our banquet order which included dressing for our centerpieces (mirror tile and candles). We had the room until 12:30 AM. We had an open bar until 9:30 then a cash bar from that time on. Before the open bar ended, my husband ordered a double bourbon. The staff was so concerned about cleaning that they cleared our sweetheart table (including my husbands drink) after the open bar ended but well before we were to leave (around 10 PM). If he were to order another he would have had to pay cash for it. They also cleared my cake (the bride) and cake from other guests while we were dancing and before we had a chance to eat it. Our banquet order also indicated that we were to have a portion of the cheese and fruit plate boxed and set aside for us while we were taking our photos. It was not. When we (my coordinator, husband, and I) brought concerns to our banquet captain, her response was \"I don't know\" or flat out denial. She didn't make any attempts to make anything right. It was later explained to our coordinator that everyone was new. We had high hopes for impeccable service considering that we had only 24 people including my husband and I but it felt like we were rushed through the end of the evening.

Our daughters wedding reception was absolutely perfect! Working with the staff was wonderful beforehand and during the reception. We used many of their preferred vendors that were great also. The food that Lanier Islands prepared for the reception was delicious and the drinks were great. We had the reception at Peachtree Pointe and it was decorated beautifully by Design House of Flowers in Buford. We left the doors open and the outside views of the lake were great. The staff really took care of us over the long weekend too. We stayed at the resort and enjoyed Sydneys in the morning and Bullfrogs for lunch and dinner. We even had a great afterparty at Bullfrogs. We even went over to Margaritaville and had great drinks. It was a great weekend! I can't say enough about the wonderful staff and hotel.

We had our wedding on August 21 at the Venitian Pier. It was a beautiful venue and the staff who accompanied the venue were perfection. The venues on property are older and are pricey but they do a wonderful job of putting signs out and making sure things run smoothly. I do take off a star though as my sales team communication could have been better and the cleaning staff left my honey moon sweet a complete mess when it was clear that they were to clean up my room. other than that it was a perfect day.

We first chose Lake Lanier Islands because of the unparalleled beautiful backdrops! However, there was much more in store to surprise us! They offer several choices of venues for the ceremony and reception, as well as wedding packages to fit in your budget!Jacob Walker, the Intimate Weddings & Social Events Catering Sales Manager, went above and beyond to guide us through the detailed planning process, offering solutions for every aspect, along the way. The reception's location, decorations/set up options (all selected to our liking) and the menu were simply fantastic! We were invited to April's Tasting, where they offered samples of food and cocktails to help us choose.Also, KUDOS to Joy Garden - Gail Foss - who did a superb job with floral decor at Oliver Pointe! She also suggested a portable decorated arch to be placed at the reception, in case of potential rain! Gail used beautiful fresh roses for the boutonniere and the bride's bouquet! Another preferred partner who must be acknowledged is Karma Salon and Spa for hair and makeup. Austin and Kate gladly accommodated us on a Sunday morning! They worked their magic making us feel extraordinarily pretty!Last, but not least, The Baking Grounds presented the elaborated and delicious \"Popped the Question\" cake!My daughter's wedding day was flawless thanks to the above mentioned services! Perfection and awesomeness come to mind!I highly recommend any of Lake Lanier Islands Weddings Packages! They have a group of expert professionals that will \"make your memories last a lifetime!\"

The reception's location, decorations/set up options (all selected to our liking) and the menu were simply fantastic! We were invited to April's Tasting, where they offered samples of food and cocktails to help us choose.Also, KUDOS to Joy Garden - Gail Foss - who did a superb job with floral decor at Oliver Pointe! She also suggested a portable decorated arch to be placed at the reception, in case of potential rain! Gail used beautiful fresh roses for the boutonniere and the bride's bouquet! Another preferred partner who must be acknowledged is Karma Salon and Spa for hair and makeup. Austin and Kate gladly accommodated us on a Sunday morning! They worked their magic making us feel extraordinarily pretty!Last, but not least, The Baking Grounds presented the elaborated and delicious \"Popped the Question\" cake!My daughter's wedding day was flawless thanks to the above mentioned services! Perfection and awesomeness come to mind!I highly recommend any of Lake Lanier Islands Weddings Packages! They have a group of expert professionals that will \"make your memories last a lifetime!\"

Wow! I had an amazing experience with Jacob Walker and Lanier Island Resort as my wedding venue! I highly recommend this venue because they are profession and can cater to weddings from 50 guest count to 500 guest count. The ceremony sites are beautiful and private, the scenery is lovely from all angles of the lake and the well-maintained golf course with rolling hills and plentiful trees. There is plenty of parking and hotel rooms for guests with options of renting spacious lake houses for larger groups of people and a very nice honeymoon suite for the newlyweds. The hotel ballrooms range in sizes and can fit live a live band, dance floor, plenty of tables, buffet and bars. Also the food provided by the hotel is extremely tasteful, they make beautiful displays and bar tenders were very friendly. Lanier Islands provide wedding packages which are extremely helpful when it comes to organizing the small details, such as chairs and tables and linen table cloths, etc. Jacob Walker (social event planner for the company) is a joy to work with! Jacob has a very friendly positive attitude. He is fast and clear with communication, profession, present during the event to check in multiple times and worked in harmony with my wedding planner. I had a dream 3 day wedding starting with a smooth rehearsal ceremony and dinner Friday, a large outside wedding ceremony and indoor reception Saturday and then a final Sunday breakfast brunch. My guests were very pleased with the accommodations, there were signs and maps to help guide them around the resort, they enjoyed the scenery and loved the pool. My photographer got beautiful pictures with outdoor backgrounds of lake and rolling hills. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience and give Jacob Walker and Lanier Islands 5 star rating!!!

They don’t even deserve one star. My brother was recently married at Legacy Point and we should have never given them our business. We spent thousands of dollars to make his day special but we were constantly met with issues including the constant changing of the bill, and absent wedding coordinator and things that we didn’t approve being added to the bill along with menu items that we asked for not being added. We found out at the last minute that the final cost was higher than what was quoted to us in documented form and they refuse to honor the price we were given. This all took place within 7 days of the wedding date so we could not change the venue. On the day of the wedding the serving staff was very rude to the guests and they were allowing minors to go to the bar and get alcoholic beverages, which is not ok! Also when it was time to cut the $1500 cake the server hacked into the bottom level with her hand, yes her hand! And during Covid, no class at all. During the champagne toast they were putting glasses filled with alcohol on the tables not caring if children were there. It also rained and the tent flooded, and the absent wedding coordinator never gave us a backup plan. As a big sister my focus was trying to ensure that my little brother had a special day. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They talk a good game, but their service does not line up to their prices or poor quality. We are a very established elegant family and they gave us table clothes with holes in the team. Disgusting!

I’ve been in tears over my wedding experience and cannot let this go without writing an honest review.Olivia was the catering manager and was an absolute nightmare during this experience. On Thursday, 4/8, two days before my wedding, the weather reports started showing storms on my wedding day. My fiancé and I were pressured into moving our outdoor venues, Oliver Pointe for the ceremony and Venetian Pier for the reception, to indoor spaces by the lighting company that was coming to install string lights at the pier on the morning of 4/9. They were worried about lightning happening when their installer would be placing the lights. These storms never happened though, and we reached the technician early Friday morning, 4/9, and he agreed to set up the lights at Venetian Pier since the storms were no longer an issue and we would just be facing rain during our event. Our rain plan when we booked with Lake Lanier was to move the ceremony to the reception site, Venetian Pier because it was covered but still outdoors. I began calling Olivia before 8am on the morning of 4/9, on both her office line and cell phone. She ignored many calls and emails, and after a few hours I was informed by my wedding planner that Olivia was going to let us have our contracted venues back only if we paid an additional $2800. Mind you, we had already paid for these venues in full. I've been told I have to note here that the contract states that Lake Lanier reserves the right to move your venue as needed. This however, was not needed at this point as the storms were gone. We were also told we had until Friday, 4/9, at 5pm to make the final decision with Lake Lanier on which venue to use and we let them know early Friday morning, long before the deadline. Olivia claimed it was because the weather reports were showing storms so I sent her the weather reports in email which showed it cleared up in time. She acted as if she never saw these and it was a liability issue. I kept arguing about the weather reports showing no issue so then she started blaming it on the fact that they had set up the new rooms already and printed signs. I find that hard to believe that they did all of this overnight on Thursday. Also, since we were given the deadline of Friday at 5pm, this did not make sense. The only thing that ever mattered to me in a venue was that it be outdoors because of safety reasons due to COVID. But because my fiancé and I refused to pay an additional $2800 on top of already paying for our venues in full, we were married in a conference room indoors followed by an indoor reception with people eating and drinking, obviously not wearing masks because that's not possible when eating and drinking. Also, the weather was perfectly fine Saturday evening, as predicted by the meteorologists.I hate this. I feel that Lake Lanier and Olivia ruined my wedding and forced me to put my guests in a risky situation because I refused to pay an extra $2800 which was never mentioned to us prior to the wedding weekend or listed in the contract as a possibility that we would have to pay thousands of dollars the day before the wedding. I am so upset.Shame on you, Olivia. I want my money back.

These storms never happened though, and we reached the technician early Friday morning, 4/9, and he agreed to set up the lights at Venetian Pier since the storms were no longer an issue and we would just be facing rain during our event. Our rain plan when we booked with Lake Lanier was to move the ceremony to the reception site, Venetian Pier because it was covered but still outdoors. I began calling Olivia before 8am on the morning of 4/9, on both her office line and cell phone. She ignored many calls and emails, and after a few hours I was informed by my wedding planner that Olivia was going to let us have our contracted venues back only if we paid an additional $2800. Mind you, we had already paid for these venues in full. I've been told I have to note here that the contract states that Lake Lanier reserves the right to move your venue as needed. This however, was not needed at this point as the storms were gone. We were also told we had until Friday, 4/9, at 5pm to make the final decision with Lake Lanier on which venue to use and we let them know early Friday morning, long before the deadline. Olivia claimed it was because the weather reports were showing storms so I sent her the weather reports in email which showed it cleared up in time. She acted as if she never saw these and it was a liability issue. I kept arguing about the weather reports showing no issue so then she started blaming it on the fact that they had set up the new rooms already and printed signs. I find that hard to believe that they did all of this overnight on Thursday. Also, since we were given the deadline of Friday at 5pm, this did not make sense. The only thing that ever mattered to me in a venue was that it be outdoors because of safety reasons due to COVID. But because my fiancé and I refused to pay an additional $2800 on top of already paying for our venues in full, we were married in a conference room indoors followed by an indoor reception with people eating and drinking, obviously not wearing masks because that's not possible when eating and drinking. Also, the weather was perfectly fine Saturday evening, as predicted by the meteorologists.I hate this. I feel that Lake Lanier and Olivia ruined my wedding and forced me to put my guests in a risky situation because I refused to pay an extra $2800 which was never mentioned to us prior to the wedding weekend or listed in the contract as a possibility that we would have to pay thousands of dollars the day before the wedding. I am so upset.Shame on you, Olivia. I want my money back.

I was worried that it would be too large for 120 guests but it was just right. I had room for an oversized dance floor and 2 carving stations. It was great! The entire staff was incredibly accommodating, professional, and polite. I’d like to specifically recognize Anna Shadburn, who stepped in 3 weeks before our wedding date to take over the catering manager role. Losing our contact 3 weeks ahead of the wedding made me very nervous, but with Anna’s help, we didn’t have a single hiccup. She was super responsive and very calm (which is exactly what a crazy stressed bride needs) :) The villa suites were also so much fun to hang out in after our wedding! The bottle ofChampagne and strawberry gift from the staff were such a sweet touch. The valet staff and bellman were always eager to help us. One of the Legacy Lodge staff members even left in his personal vehicle to pick us up orange juice and other random things after the wedding. We felt like everyone went above and beyond for us, and felt very special! Recommendations for LLI:- Provide easier way to get vendors in and out of villa suites- Middle aisle for Peachtree point (I hear this is in progress)- Outdoor access to bridal holding room at Peachtree Point

Great outdoor wedding venues by the lake. Excellent staff and service. My only suggestion is that LLI should allow at least one free tasting of the couple's selected menu items prior the wedding. I would rate the food a 6/10. It was not as tasteful as I imaged. My wedding was postponed to the next day, so maybe the food sat out too long, but the rice was dry, mac n cheese was dry, and so was the chicken. I've attended their showcases and the food was descent there, so maybe it was just due to the fact that my food may have sat out too long. However, the banquet staff director Robert Hunt is amazing. He make sure his team works wonders, like Disney! Anna is so sweet and pleasant. and Ljerka knows her stuff too! We had one coordinator in the beginning who just seemed to not want to be working there, named Holly, but I believe she quit or got fired. Once we got Anna, things were smooth sailing! Misty is new, works with Anna. And she seems like she will be great there also. Lake Lanier overall is a beautiful venue for those who love outdoor venues and lakes. I don't have anything negative to say, but only minor suggestions such as with the food as stated previously. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Peachtree Pointe at Lake Lanier in September 2019. We worked closely with Olivia Hinze up until and during our wedding day and she was amazing! She answered the many questions that I had and worked to make sure our day was perfect. Also, our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was at our reception and also at our rehearsal and Sunday brunch. It made the wedding process much easier having almost everything in house and I would highly recommend someone to get married here! The ceremony was gorgeous!

Lanier Islands was the perfect backdrop for my fairytale wedding. I loved everything about the beautiful location, the staff, the food was delicious and the hospitality for all of my guests was exquisite. Thank you to Ljerka, Anna and the entire Lake Lanier staff for providing exceptional customer service! Our wedding villa and suite was amazing and the Lake Houses were perfect for out of town guests. We even had a smores welcome party by the pool.

Starting from the very first visit to the property, continued through out the planning process and even AFTER the event was completed. We received prompt return phone calls and emails setting our curiosity's to rest. Ljerka worked with us to stay within budget, and have the wedding of our dreams. Her recommendations and suggestions for rehearsal dinner, evening gatherings, s'mores by the fire, reception, breakfast brunch, and guests accommodations made our guests rave about how well organized and beautiful the entire weekend was. lake Lanier made our day unforgettable, fun and picture perfect. We chose the pan isle pointe as a venue without looking for others because we always dreamed of the spot for our wedding. It is open and the water is right next to the gazebo (hence the illusion of a beach wedding without the annoying sand in your everything).The coordinators (Ljerika and Olivia ) worked with us from beginning to end while our invited list kept changing with RSVPs and circumstances change. They were in our backing call anytime we needed to inquire something or needed a bit of flexibility.On the day of, Olivia and her team were on the ground taking care of coordinating every vendor smoothly so we didn't have to worry. They worked well with our planner to make adjustments when needed.Our guests were delighted by the location since they were able to come early and enjoy what lake Lanier lodge has to offer.If you're looking for a venue in and around Georgia, I say look no further. You'll be in very good hands at lake Lanier.

Dream wedding came true!Lanier Islands was the first and only venue we saw for our wedding. We were blown away by the lake views (duh!). It was exactly what we dreamed of. We initially worked with Andreja, and soon after Olivia joined our team...a dream team! Olivia took no longer than 2 seconds to reply every single email I sent to her throughout the wedding planning process. She was extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect before, during and after the wedding! In addition to the wedding, we also hosted a Sunday Farewell Brunch, which was fantastic as well! The food was so good.. people are still talking about it. Everyone at Lake Lanier Islands was so nice to us, helpful, accommodating and professional. One of the things that we love the most about the LLII team is that they definitely know what they are doing. Everything was planned perfectly! We are beyond happy with our wedding. Definitely the best day of our lives. If we could do it all again we would definitely do it the same way! THank you so much to the entire team!! Lanier did this without any issues or questions. While this last piece may be small, it shows the level of service Lanier Islands provides. We left the cake topper and toasting glasses in our car, realizing this minutes before the bride and groom entered the reception. I asked Olivia, our catering manager, if she could run to our car and grab it for us. She did it without hesitation. Additionally, we have been to weddings where the food is mediocre at best. Lanier’s food was great, with all of our guests complimenting me for a great wedding. Of course, the compliments really belong to Olivia and her team at Lanier Islands!!!Thank you Olivia and your team for helping make this a great evening!!!

Lanier Islands was the perfect place to have my wedding. From the moment we viewed the property I knew this is where I wanted to be. The property is beautiful. We had a more intimate wedding but you couldn't tell. Everything was wonderful. The food was phenomenal. And best of all, it's all inclusive. Olivia Hinze was a wonderful coordinator, she was so helpful and very knowledgeable. She made my day so special. I'd definitely recommend it!
