Legacy Hill Farm is the venue to host your grand and unforgettable wedding, set in Welch, MN. This eco-friendly property makes a marvelous backdrop for a truly remarkable celebration. Legacy Hill Farm is located just 40 minutes southeast of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, MN, in a peaceful modern French countryside setting. It offers both indoor and outdoor spaces where you and your guests can enjoy the intimacy and beauty of nature surrounding you. Nearly all of the buildings are original to the property from the early 1900s. They have been restored and modernized to create a one-of-a-kind experience for couples and their guests. The pavilion is the only additional structure and is built to seamlessly fit in and provide a large covered and protected space for guests to gather. Its feature wall showcases a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling fireplace and giant sliding barn doors, allowing sunshine and nature to surround you. Wheelchair-accessible spaces and abundant on-site parking add convenience and comfort for guests. Legacy Hill Farm hosts single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious weddings, as well as elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewal ceremonies. Up to 295 guests can share in your joyful occasion across over 12+ hours of exclusive venue access. The staff will serve your event, providing table setup and teardown as well as a post-event deep cleaning service. They also offer the use of get-ready rooms, lighting, and outdoor heaters. You can customize your celebration further with early access hours, firewood service, sparkler service, and wedding rehearsals. Being fully bookable online, arranging your special celebration is a seamless process.

Legacy Hill Farm is a DREAM wedding venue. It's everything I've every imagined and SO much more! We had our wedding there in May 2023. A wedding is a lot to plan, but Legacy Hill Farm made it much easier. They were so personal and friendly to work with -- we feel like family now. I'm sad our numerous visit there are over!We recommend this as the NUMBER 1 WEDDING VENUE IN Minnesota!! Everything about the space throughout the day was seamless, beautiful, and appealing to all the senses! We had soooo many people come up to tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to! So much of that was because of how well organized Legacy Hill Farm is, how well the space is set up and how it caters to guests of all ages and interests.Whether your guests like to dance, sit by a bonfire, play bean bags, grab drinks and walk around looking at the field, or catch up with friends -- this venue will cater to everyone!Gosh, I cannot say enough amazing things about Legacy Hill Farm!!! We were so grateful we found this space and would recommend this without any hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding/event space!

From a fathers perspective: What a great venue to invite family and friends to gather! When you have the privilege of sharing such a momentous event, you want it to be impactful and memorable. I had the honor of ushering my daughter into the beautiful ceremony site, and I will never forget it! The entire evening was enjoyable, as the guests took pleasure in gathering and conversation! The venue offers wonderful options to congregate including the rustic barn/bar area, the elegant pavilion, the quaint fire pit, and charming sitting areas near the fountain, porches, or trees. The staff was great to work with and made the event seamless and effortless for our family, so we could focus on our guests! I would highly recommend this venue! It was an extraordinary location for our daughter's wedding, but it would also be fantastic for family reunions, office parties, team building, and retreats.

She responded to all of our questions and inquiries in an extremely timely fashion as well as the rest of the staff and family! We went to multiple open houses (and even accidentally brought family to one) and were welcomed kindly every single time!AFFORDABLE WITHOUT SACRIFICING ANY QUALITY You will get more than you paid for and feel like the venue can’t be improved on! We didn’t even buy much additional decorations and felt like the venue was totally perfect! They help you have the wedding of your dreams without breaking the bankBEAUTIFUL VENUE!You cannot find a more beautiful venue that balances modern and formal aesthetic elements with rustic farmhouse elements that will leave you feeling like EVERY CORNER of the wedding venue is beautiful and deserves a picture there!RECOMMENDATIONS OF OUTSTANDING VENDORS!From food, to DJ’s, to photographers and limo service, Legacy promoted and casually encouraged us to use incredible vendors that really made the night perfect! From the moment I stepped foot on the property with my daughter, we both knew this was the place that we wanted to share one of the best moments of a lifetime with family and friends. We met with Joan, and her kindness and authenticity were exactly what we were looking for when planning an event of this magnitude. She methodically assisted us through the process of unveiling the details and decisions that would need to be decided about the wedding day. She gave us a tour offering further ideas and strategies that helped us to make concrete decisions. The setting is breathtaking and highly manicured. It offers a seamless transition when welcoming guests to the ceremony site - benches on the hillside, and later to the reception area - the restored barn, and then finally to the meal - the spectacular pavilion. It is wheelchair accessible with sidewalks throughout the property. There are magical niches set up throughout the property to visit, gather, and connect. The groom and bride have exquisite areas to gather with their party and prepare prior to the event. I was so impressed by the quaint, clean restroom facilities and the entire grounds. It is a highly booked venue, but you feel like you are the only one of the season, because of the attention to detail and genuine, fresh reception of the staff. We had a stunning event and still have friends and family remind us of the incredible time that was experienced on that wedding day. You honestly need to consider this venue for any gathering! You will be overwhelmed and over-served!

Legacy Hill Farm is an amazing luxury wedding venue. I have attended several events at this venue from wedding ceremonies + receptions to delayed receptions post a destination wedding to a private family event gathering. The attention to detail is what does it for me, in addition to an outdoor-focused venue. I love being outdoors and the hybrid environment that Legacy brings to so many of its spaces is fantastic. I love this venue.

Legacy Hill Farm is an amazing luxury wedding venue. I have attended several events at this venue from wedding ceremonies + receptions to delayed receptions post a destination wedding to a private family event gathering. The attention to detail is what does it for me, in addition to an outdoor-focused venue. I love being outdoors and the hybrid environment that Legacy brings to so many of its spaces is fantastic. I love this venue.

We got married 10/22/23 at Legacy Hill Farm and it was the BEST decision we made in the wedding planning process!! First of all, the venue is gorgeous, rustic, and has everything you could ever need. The little details they add to each room is so intentional and unique. These additions also made planning for wedding decor easy - you really don't need much, because the place is already filled with charm and zest!! Joan made the entire process so smooth and flawless. She answered all of our questions (and we had A LOT of questions) and worked with us due to living out of state. Her and her team communicated efficiently and effectively, even responding instantly at late hours when we were up late planning!! They are very professional and are extremely willing to work with you. We can tell they truly seek to make your vision come to life and don't treat you as if you're just making them money. On the wedding day, the quality of their service was outstanding. They made sure everything was exactly as we planned and went above and beyond to serve the entire day. We could not have asked for a better place to start our forever. To be able to look back at the photos, videos, and think of the memories from the day knowing that it was as perfect as we could have ever imagined is priceless.Thank you so much Legacy Hill Farm for making our dreams come to life and ensuring our day was PERFECT!

We had our wedding at Legacy Hill at the end of August and I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for us to have said I do! From start to finish Joan, Jayne, and other staff were incredible. They are so kind, easy to communicate with, and truly care about you as a couple and are willing to work with you to help make your dreams come to life. The grounds are pristine and picturesque from every angle which helped make our day everything we were hoping for. Whether you are inside or outside, the spaces on the venue are BEAUTIFUL and offer many areas for your guests to enjoy. The patio and cocktail area was especially loved by our guests and served as a great space for mingling for those who were looking to take a break from the dance floor. I cannot recommend Legacy Hill enough and I am so thankful we found this amazing venue for our day.

I knew it was meant for us when I cried because it was so beautiful and I instantly was able to envision our big day here. The staff was incredible every step of the way. The communication was top-notch, they helped us with all of our questions and always responded within a day's time. We absolutely loved our venue. This was the most perfect and dreamy place to get married. The venue has everything you need for a day that will suit everyone’s needs. We ceremony site was stunning; the bar and patio area were perfect for cocktail hour and for the reception. This spot was extra special for guests who didn’t feel like dancing or felt the pavilion was too loud for their taste during the reception. This encouraged guests to stay longer and hang out at the venue, allowing for more mingling and social time. The pavilion was absolutely breathtaking and enchanting, especially at night with the string lights and chandeliers lit up. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to get married at this venue. It was the perfect day and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their support on the day of really relieved the stress from my mom which was important to me to ensure she could relax and enjoy the day without any worries or extra responsibilities. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get married in MN. My guests also loved the venue and could not stop raving about how cozy and beautiful it felt from the ceremony through the end of the reception.

Legacy Hill Farm is the most perfect, whimsical venue for a wedding. We loved all the areas for our guests to roam - from the courtyard, bar, pavilion, upper barn, etc. Adding yard games, an ice cream truck, and our puppy as part of the festivities of the wedding made it all the more magical. I secretly am hoping to be able to attend a wedding there as guest in the future 😀. Joan and her family are doing a great job!

Legacy Hill Farm is the most perfect, whimsical venue for a wedding. We loved all the areas for our guests to roam - from the courtyard, bar, pavilion, upper barn, etc. Adding yard games, an ice cream truck, and our puppy as part of the festivities of the wedding made it all the more magical. I secretly am hoping to be able to attend a wedding there as guest in the future 😀. Joan and her family are doing a great job!

Legacy Hill Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. Set in picturesque Minnesota country the fall colors were just coming in. The outdoor ceremony site was absolutely amazing. The versatility of the reception hall made it adaptable to the temperature of the day! Everything about this venue has so much to offer whether it’s the bridal suites, Bonfire pit, bar, or the stunning photo spots all around the venue it was truly a dream come true from start to finish.

Legacy Hill Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. Set in picturesque Minnesota country the fall colors were just coming in. The outdoor ceremony site was absolutely amazing. There will never be enough words to describe the love that I have for Legacy Hill Farm and their wonderful staff! Not only did I have the pleasure of being a LHF bride, I also got to see behind the scenes of this incredible venue as a member of their staff. I can tell you from experience that Legacy has thought of every last detail to ensure amazing customer service for their couples. There is truly no other venue out there that would stay well past closing and get up before sunrise to make certain that your day is absolutely perfect! The venue is so stunning that you must go see the beauty for yourself because while pictures may allow you to see the farm’s lovely charm, they will never be able to reveal the magic you feel when on the property. There is a sense of peace and stillness you get when at the venue which put me at complete ease on my wedding day in addition to knowing that the staff had everything under control so I could enjoy the night!I would also like to express my personal gratitude to the Hoffbeck family. You have all made a great impact on my life and it is a privilege to work for family that has such love for their business, and most importantly their family. While you may not think this is relevant to choosing a wedding venue, I believe that if there is one reason to choose LHF it is this exact one. Absolutely loved this venue! Joan and Britni are very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Price transparency (only insurance and bodyguard separate cost) was very nice. From the moment my husband and I pulled up to tour Legacy Hill Farm, we knew it was our dream venue and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. We were looking for a single outdoor venue for both the ceremony and reception that wasn't too far from the Twin Cities. Legacy Hill Farm was the exact vibe we wanted- lots of nature, light, airy, whimsical, and mostly outdoors (but it does have a pavilion roof in case it rains). It doesn't feel like other barn venues and I would hardly cluster it in that category other than the beautiful farm fields and some cute animals on site (roosters were clucking during our ceremony, which we enjoyed!). LHF is so elegantly simple and beautiful, with the perfect amount of rustic touches. From the fountain at the entrance to the twinkling bistro lights at cocktail hour, it truly felt like we had a storybook wedding.When my bridesmaids and I arrived in the morning, LHF had the fountain going, music playing, and candles giving off a lovely scent. We were all immediately awestruck. We lucked out with a gorgeous 80 degree day in July, but LHF had its grounds in perfect condition. Everything felt very clean and well taken care of. LHF turned out to be the absolute perfect venue to hold a wedding during a pandemic. We didn't have to alter our original plan at all- the holds 300 guests and so our 130 guests fit comfortably. They were able to social distance on the pews during the ceremony and tables in the pavilion could be spaced 6 feet apart for dinner. We rented some lounges from Hello Wildflower and they were utilized a lot, not to mention were great places to take photographs.In the evening, many guests hung out at the fire pit and outdoor bistro tables. These options were such great alternatives during covid. We happened to have an almost full moon, and the views over the farm fields were incredible. The entire pavilion and bar area were warmly lit and glowing, which gave the wedding an enchanted feeling all night.Everything flowed so smoothly, from feeling like a princess as we got ready in the bridal suite, to dinner and dancing under the full moon. Legacy Hill Farm was everything and more that we ever dreamed of. It didn't even feel like a pandemic wedding.

I can't say enough about how amazing Legacy Hill was for our wedding. The space is absolutely amazing and everyone who attended made sure to let me know how beautiful it was. The pavilions for the bride and groom tot get ready are such a great touch to making the day run smooth. The fact that I didn't have to deal with renting tables, chairs or lighting was a huge positive. We did see some snow, rain and lots of wind during our day (what else could you expect from an October wedding in Minnesota) and the transition from having the ceremony inside as opposed to being outside was seamless. The space was just as beautiful inside for the ceremony as it was for the reception. Even though we would have loved to hold the ceremony outdoors, the backup plan at Legacy Hill is the best there could be! Wish I could relive that day for the rest of my life!

My husband and I were married at LHF on Sept 6th! We were so impressed with the venue and received tons of compliments from our guests about the beauty of the farm and friendliness of staff. While we had previously toured the farm and attended a planning workshop, seeing the venue decorated on our special day with all our own personal touches (and some add ins from Hello Wildflower!) was such a dream. We never imagined we would have the opportunity to get married at such a beautiful venue, on such a beautiful day. The only \"negative\" that we'd like to mention is that security staff wasn't the friendliest and while the owners allow smoking at the fire pit, they sure don't seem to like smokers. At one point my husband was standing just a tad outside of the fire pit area and staff threatened to kick him out - he was the groom! That wasn't appreciated and could have been handled differently. Additionally, we weren't given the full hour after the ceremony to get our items cleaned out of the groom/bridal suites and the staff started moving stuff without telling us and placing it on the porch. It's tough with how fast moving everything is to have something like that happen. Nonetheless, it didn't impact our rating and overall experience at the farm and we do truly recommend the space and loved working with the team!

Joan and Britni's forces combined literally made for the perfect day. The communication leading up to the event was timely and proactive. Somebody is always there answering your questions and making sure you feel comfortable with any action items. The day of, we had Legacy staff there to greet our bridal party, help us haul our belongings to the bridal suites and literally be there for any/all questions. The most special part of this is everyone is so AUTHENTIC. You honestly feel like you are home with this crew. Everyone truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best day possible. Having our wedding ceremony at Legacy Hill Farm was an absolute dream. The venue is breathtaking and the staff is incredible. I never felt like my day wasn’t a priority to them. We received compliments from everyone about how beautiful the venue was! We also worked with Hello Wildflower for table decorations and they turned out better than I had imagined! 2 small things: they don’t send out tipping guidelines until a few weeks before the wedding. I knew this was coming, but was surprised by just how many staff members they have working to get the venue ready. This was something I had not properly budgeted for, so this tipping guideline further in advance would be helpful. The only unfortunate thing about Legacy is their contracted catering company. This venue is literally the most beautiful place you will ever see, hands down!! I can’t tell you how many people continue to tell me that it was the most gorgeous, beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to! We worked with Hello Wildflower for the event design and Britni literally blew me away with her technique and attention to detail making the day so comfortable for guests and the wedding party. She set up numerous lounges with couches/tables throughout the barn and patio area that were not left unused during the entire day/night. It was so nice for guests to have multiple areas to sit and relax during cocktail hour or after dinner. Legacy Hill was everything we wanted for our wedding day! The grounds are gorgeous and the ceremony and reception space took everyone’s breath away. Decorated or not, this venue is stunning. It has been 3 months since we were married and our guests are still complimenting the space and staff at Legacy Hill.The LHF crew and staff were passionate about making our day special in every way possible. Every last detail was taken of and all of our spaces were ready to go for us. We also had Hello Wildflower coordinate our day and the Legacy Hill staff worked hand-in-hand with Hello Wildflower and other vendors perfectly.The communication with Legacy was pretty average. We were confident in their ability to help us make our day come together so when we did not hear back from them via email or phone right away it was no worry. They always got back to us to answer any questions or concerns we had. As our wedding grew closer they provided us with immediate communication and attention to prepare for the day- even if it was just to calm nerves ❤️Legacy Hill took such good care of us before, during, and after our wedding day. It is so unbelievably beautiful and whimsical. The price that we paid was more than fair for everything they did for us during our engagement and on the wedding day. I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went due to their amazing staff. They have sufficient, close, and easy parking. Amazing restrooms, well maintained land, hotels close by, and a super quick commute from the cities. Everyone should get married here!

Only downsides: it was pretty steeply priced, and the set up/clean up process was a pain since you only had the grounds starting at 10am until immediately after your reception ends. However, I wouldn’t have chosen any other venue. I’d get married here annually if I could. So so so so beautiful.

The only thing that we would have changed is this ability to choose another caterer and bar tending service (A’BriTin catering is required for both) . We loved our time planning our day at Legacy Hill, and spending our wedding day with family and friends in a classy, outdoor setting. Thanks Legacy Hill!

We were married 6.15.18. The venue is gorgeous, like a fantasy escape, and Joan is so friendly. She treats you like her own daughter. From the moment we met her until the wedding was over, all of our interactions in person with her were so personable and loving! Responsiveness was a bit slow at times. There were questions I asked at the orientation that they said they would follow up with me about, and I never heard back. Additionally, there were a few times that I emailed questions to them and didn't hear back for a few weeks - or never heard back. I probably could've tried harder - maybe if I had called them, they would have been more responsive. They offer a lot of services (wedding planning etc.) that we did not do because we did not want to pay extra for it. It's possible that they might have been more responsive if we were using their day-of-coordinators instead of doing that part ourself. Other than their slow response time to my questions, and a few weird minor mix-ups (asking for another security deposit when we already gave them one, and giving us a lock for the fence with the wrong letter engraved on it), everything else was perfect. They were very accommodating for little things we needed differently for our ceremony. Also, it rained for our ceremony and they helped get everything moved inside the pavilion without a hitch. It was a dream, the ambiance is wonderful and peaceful, and I am thrilled that we decided to get married at Legacy Hill Farm.

Our guests could easily walk a (very) short distance from the ceremony to the outdoor bar area, right next to the fire pit and reception area. However, there was a curveball vendor fee and contract that got sent out to our vendors last minute (4 days before our wedding). I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of my wedding, except decorating, which, if you visit, you will see that it really does not need much for decor as it is naturally gorgeous inside and out. Even on a cold day, which our wedding was, it surpassed my expectations! I would suggest Legacy Hill Farm to anyone looking for less stress and the party of a lifetime!

I know every bride says their wedding was the \"best day ever!\" and perhaps that is true and most definitely should be... but I can not only say that about my wedding at Legacy Hill Farm but I can also say that our guests provided genuine positive feedback about how amazing the venue was throughout the night and after. This feedback was not obligatory statements by people who felt they had to say things like, \"your wedding was amazing!\" but definitely more heartfelt and real. I would also say that despite the rain all day on our October wedding (we had expected and planned for that beautiful MN crisp weather our entire engagement), the ceremony inside the pavilion was so intimate, beautiful and cozy inside with the fireplace on. All of our guests could hear, were comfortable and warm and the love and happiness in the venue was palpable. The team at Legacy Hill Farm are not only experts but genuinely amazing human beings who know how to keep the vibe positive throughout the day. They are with you every step of the way- visible and there when you want them to be and invisible making magic happen when you aren't even paying attention. I wish we could get married every year! Last comment would be that this is not like any other \"barn venue.\" In fact, I wouldn't even lump it in to that category- yes it is on a farm and there is a barn but it is like a little village that has so much to offer- your guests will have plenty of options to entertain themselves and it's so gorgeous you don't have to spend a fortune decorating. It is honestly beautiful by itself.

This venue is absolutely AMAZING!! There are so many great things to say about this venue. Legacy Hill Farm made our wedding day the best day of our lives. It rained all morning the day of our wedding and it honestly made our day even better. The bridal suit is absolutely gorgeous!! The bonfire pit was a hit and it makes the venue feel so cozy and like you're right at home. The amount of compliments from friends and family about the venue was astonishing. Everyone thought it was breathtaking, beautiful and one of the best wedding venues they have ever been to.I loved every minute of my wedding day and how everything just came together. Britni & Joan took so much time preparing for this day and making it everything I could have ever dreamed of. Hello Wildflower Rentals helped me pick out sitting areas, décor, and furniture in order to best fit our needs along with the guests. The accent pieces went perfect with the venue and added another dimension to our photos. There was not one thing I would change about our whole entire day. I have not stopped receiving compliments from guests on how gorgeous the venue is. Legacy Hill Farm made this day happen and I am forever grateful to them for all they have done for me.

The layout of the venue flows perfectly, the doors are my absolute favorite, each building is very intentional, not to mention the new bridal squite is adorable! The love the owners have for the farm itself and their work is very apparent! We absolutely love Legacy Hill Farm!

Legacy Hill Farm is a dream! We had our wedding here in October 2016 and could not have asked for a more unique and beautiful venue to have our special day. Every space, from the ceremony space with its church pews and arch doors, to the new bathrooms and bridal suite with its french country decor, clearly shows attention to detail. Our guests were raving all night, and continue to rave about how beautiful the farm is and how well every spaces flows into the next. We loved how the farm animals roamed freely and even participated in our wedding ceremony :) Joan and Britni were easy to work with and responsive. They clearly have put their hearts into making this a special place. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding at Legacy Hill Farm!

Beautiful venue and very responsive owners. We also enjoyed the bridal suite and grooms cottage throughout the day. The only downsides, and I'm nit picking, were not having anywhere to store items during the reception (we had to use our cars) and the pavilion did get a little chilly despite having patio heaters and the tent heater running all night....but that's what you get for having a fall wedding in MN :). We would definitely recommend Legacy Hill Farm for your big day!

This venue is absolute perfection!! The space is beautiful and flows so perfectly from one area to the next. Our guests could not stop commenting on how much they loved the space, in fact we had several people comment that they wished they could live there. The bridal suite was adorable and it was so fun to watch as our guests arrived. The new bathrooms are stunning and they just keep adding more special touches. Our guests loved the fire pit, bar, wraparound porch and all the visiting spaces they were able to explore during the reception. I wish we could do it all over again next month. Thank you so much to Joan and Britni, you have a marvelous space that was the perfect background to our wedding day. We'll always treasure our time there and will always speak highly of your venue.

I may be biased, but our wedding was absolutely wonderful (for me), and my guests had only great things to say as well. This is a beautiful venue, and the natural beauty speaks for itself. I didn't go overboard with decorating, because you really don't have to. And it was such a luxury to have everything in one location...the wedding, cocktail hour, dinner, bonfire, dance. We don't even know where to start. Our day was absolutely perfect!! Legacy Hill Farm (LHF) made our day so special. They took care of everything. They really have everything down to a science. They know exactly what do to and where to be at any given time. LHF was so easy to work with. You can tell they put their hearts into this business. They really care about you, your family, your day, everything. The small details were thought of. I had LHF set up all my decorations. Everything was set up so perfectly. It was just like I imagined it would look like. The security guard was awesome, bugs were not an issue, the whole venue was wonderful for photos. The layout of this venue makes it so your guest aren't ever crowded. The bar, bonfire, dining area, dance floor and upper barn are all great places to gather and catch up with friends. One of my favorite parts of the whole day was the moment I walked through the gorgeous doors and down the isle. I heard from many guests that the moment those doors opened, it was just spectacular. The bridal cottage was so cute!! Perfect location, up high so you can look over your guests and venue, air conditioned and a great back drop for photos. The bathrooms are brand new and look great! We are so incredibly happy with how everything went on our special day in early August. We would recommend this venue to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!! What a special place in our hearts. Choosing Legacy Hill Farm was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! My husband and I were married on 8/19/2016 and it was more than we could have ever dreamed of. We were looking for an outdoor venue that included space for ceremony and reception and this place is perfection. Not only is the property absolutely STUNNING, the owners Joan and Britni are so wonderful to work with! The ceremony site includes church pews and the view is simply breathtaking! We loved how the event space flowed so well together, there was something to do everyone! The dance, bonfire, yard games, and the upstairs barn loft was a huge conversation hit! Our guests could not stop raving how amazing this place is! The newly renovated bathrooms and bridal suite added such a lovely touch to the day! The guys also have an awesome cottage to get ready in as well! We can't say enough about this venue, we truly love this place and it was an absolute dream to be married there!!!! Highly recommend Legacy Hill Farm! We can't wait to go back and visit!

Where am I supposed to start with this place? Picturesque. One of a Kind. Gorgeous.We hosted our wedding here on 7/16/16. We toured the venue when they still had the blue print plans. At the time, it was just a field. Joan & Britni were wonderful & we believed in their vision for what Legacy Hill Farm would be. Once the plans were completed, the reality far exceeded our wildest dreams. The ceremony area, reception pavilion, bar and bridal suite were beautifully completed and naturally create a seamless flow from one thing to the next on your wedding day. The ceremony area is complete with real pews outdoors overlooking a rolling green field complete with wedding arbor. From there, your guests can follow a short path to the bar, fire pit and pavilion area. I knew I loved the vision for this farm when Joan showed me all of her inspiration for designs around the farm on Pinterest. This place embraces and combines the old with the new. There are vintage touches and modern finishes…a venue you can choose to dress up or down. I could go on and on, but here are the main highlights we enjoyed:-Joan and Britni run the farm (and live there) and they really care about your wedding day. They are kind, helpful and accommodating. My daughter was still nursing as well as a bridesmaid who had just had a baby. They allowed us late access to the bridal suite so we could pump and have a private space. So very sweet.-THE BRIDAL SUITE. You guys, it’s something right out of an HGTV dream. Your bridesmaids will love relaxing here. Complete with mini fridge, personal bathroom, seating, mirrors, closet, etc. -Photo Ops Galore! The farm provided countless backdrops for pictures.-The security guard. The farm contracts a security guard for $175 cash that you pay for that night. This is going to sound strange…but he was one of my favorite features of the farm. He got me my first drink after the grand march, he helped light the fire pit, he was so kind and respectful communicating any details my point person needed, he escorted me to our bus at the end of the night holding the umbrella for me every step of the way, AND he gave us a bottle of wine at the end of the night. Hero city. -You don’t need a ton of décor to transform this place. The features they include hold their own: French Bistro Chairs, White-Washed 8 ft tables for guest seating, Galvanized Metal Bar, fireplace, satin bride & groom chairs, shiplap walls…my heart is still fluttering.-New bathrooms on the lower level of the bridal suite. No porta potties here! -They have one preferred caterer & bar provider: This Little Piggy. This means the caterers come to the venue all the time and know what they’re doing. The food was amazing and my guests are still talking about it.Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased with everything. Truly wonderful memories of a very special day. You will not be disappointed by this venue! Getting married on July 31, 2015 at Legacy Hill Farm truly was everything we dreamed of and more. We were looking for a a single outdoor venue for both ceremony and reception that could still accommodate up to 300 people. We were so lucky to come across LHF, which is not too far from the Twin Cities, and grateful for the opportunity to work with Joan and Britni as they turned their family farm into an elegant wedding venue. Their attention to detail, style, professionalism, and availability was phenomenal. Our guests were blown away by the whole experience. There are so many different spaces to enjoy at LHF - including the ceremony site, bar, bonfire, pavilion, and barn. We were able to bring our own decorations to customize the space and worked with the caterers designated by the farm (also amazing!). The bride and bridesmaids enjoyed getting ready in the private bridal suite (bedroom, full bathroom, fridge, AC, huge mirror) while the groom and groomsmen relaxed in the groom's cottage (fridge, TV, bedroom). Our ceremony was at 7pm which made for a fabulous sunset and golden cornfields. Since we wanted one venue for ceremony+reception and therefore were not at a church, it was special for us to be able to have the church pews and cross outside. We had dinner and the dance in the pavilion, which is a beautiful space and has see-through curtains around the perimeter in case of rain. LHF staff were there all day, from morning setup to midnight end, making sure our special day went smoothly. They even had staff working as security and parking attendants. We had no issues with 250 guests - they are still talking about the farm! We cannot thank and recommend Legacy Hill Farm enough!

There are so many different spaces to enjoy at LHF - including the ceremony site, bar, bonfire, pavilion, and barn. We were able to bring our own decorations to customize the space and worked with the caterers designated by the farm (also amazing!). The bride and bridesmaids enjoyed getting ready in the private bridal suite (bedroom, full bathroom, fridge, AC, huge mirror) while the groom and groomsmen relaxed in the groom's cottage (fridge, TV, bedroom). Our ceremony was at 7pm which made for a fabulous sunset and golden cornfields. Since we wanted one venue for ceremony+reception and therefore were not at a church, it was special for us to be able to have the church pews and cross outside. We had dinner and the dance in the pavilion, which is a beautiful space and has see-through curtains around the perimeter in case of rain. LHF staff were there all day, from morning setup to midnight end, making sure our special day went smoothly. They even had staff working as security and parking attendants. We had no issues with 250 guests - they are still talking about the farm! We cannot thank and recommend Legacy Hill Farm enough!

We were married on 7/18/15 and were the very first wedding at Legacy Hill Farm. This might make some couples nervous, but we trusted Britni and Joan implicitly. They were easy to work with, incredibly accommodating, very communicative and made us feel like we were their first priority from the moment they told us they had our date available. Legacy Hill Farm was exactly what we were looking for: an outdoor venue (with a safe rain plan!) with beautiful, versatile spaces that could accommodate not only our larger wedding (160+ people) but the vision we had for our day. To us, the best part about LHF was that there was something for everyone. We've been to so many weddings where your options as a guest are dancing or sitting at your assigned table. At LHF, we had people dancing and sitting at tables, but also having fun in the photo booth in the barn, relaxing by the fire, chatting in the bar at the built-in high top tables, sitting on the cafe-style patio, kids running around and looking at the sheep and piglets, folks playing cornhole in the yard and just walking around exploring the beautiful grounds. We truly felt like our guests felt comfortable, happy and totally at ease at LHF. Our wedding was casual (pig roast and square dancing) but this venue could easily be dressed to the nines if that's your style. The contracted caterers were also easy to work with and the food was delicious. Our ceremony was at a local church, but the ceremony site at LHF is absolutely stunning and flows easily into the other spaces. We cannot recommend Legacy Hill Farm highly enough.
