Located in Kennebunkport, ME, Nonantum Resort is a waterfront destination with an enchanting atmosphere. Its elegant premises feature well-appointed rooms, award-winning dining, and an on-site marina. The resort originally opened in 1884 with 28 rooms. Family-owned, this one-of-a-kind venue has been under the same ownership since 1994. Nonantum Resort benefits from a picturesque location paired with exceptional accommodations. It sits only 90 minutes from Boston and 30 minutes from Portland, making it convenient to both areas. The site features a charming lighthouse, an enduring icon of Maine. A tent can be erected on the lawn, providing space for between 200 and 350 guests to celebrate. Andrew and I had the best experience from beginning to end having our rehearsal dinner & wedding reception at the Nonantum Resort. We specifically worked with Briana and Amanda and cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They provided so much support in attention to details and ability to adapt to our various needs- definitely put us at ease with planning the most important weekend of our lives! Each of our friends and family commented on not only how beautiful the resort was but also how kind and friendly the staff were and how they felt right at home! (As the majority of our family and friends were from the deep South, this was not a mere passing comment!) Don't hesitate, book the Nonantum!

JUST THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! I am local to the area and have grown up loving the Nonantum. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the resort makes a concerted effort to join in community activities. Naturally when I got engaged, I thought of the Nonantum for all my activities. It was as perfect as I had hoped. Even though the wedding was on the weekend of Hurricane Lee (which ended up not being a big issue in the area) I felt so reassured that it would still be an amazing day no matter what mother nature threw at us. The Nonantum had back-up plans for back-up plans. The whole experience from tour to tasting to wedding weekend was excellent. Briana Duca was so helpful and made me feel relaxed as a bride. Everything was set up exactly how I envisioned, she was extremely communicative and all my questions got thoughtful and experienced replies!

We got married at the Nonantum last weekend. Our entire wedding was outside, we got married in front of the lighthouse and our reception and cocktail hour were \"Portside\". The day was more than we could have ever hoped for. The venue is right on the water and all guests (majority) rooms are steps away from the tent/celebration, making for a stress-free, fun, exciting, and joyful day. Ariel, our wedding coordinator, made sure everything went exactly as planned and we didn't have to worry about a thing! The staff at Nonantum are exceptional. They really care and go out of their way to be kind and give guests a great time. We are so grateful that we had our wedding here and can't wait to come back in the coming years!

I simply can’t say enough good things about Nonantum. We were lucky enough to secure one of the last remaining Saturday dates in July and then we did the impossible. We planned our wedding in 8 months from NJ and it could not have been more seamless. Amanda, our coordinator, made everything so easy. The Nonantum Resort is charming, beautiful and the quintessential New England venue. The only thing better than the Resort itself is the staff. Every staff member went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. We plan on returning every year for our anniversary and are already counting down the days until we go back! Could not recommend more!!!!!

I simply can’t say enough good things about Nonantum. We were lucky enough to secure one of the last remaining Saturday dates in July and then we did the impossible. The Nonantum is truly a special place to get married and we highly recommend it if you’re looking for a coastal wedding! This hotel is one of the few, if not the last, independently owned and operated in Kennebunkport, and as a guest you can really tell the difference from the moment you walk in. Regardless of how busy they are, members at the front desk (Vicky and co) are incredibly inviting and kind. The Nonantum had a wedding Friday, Saturday, then ours on Sunday – but from our perspective, we could have been the only wedding of the weekend - they made us feel that special. Meagan was incredible in helping us design our signature drinks, signage, and execute mini espresso martini shots to be served with dessert. We had a lot of fun leaning into the bar elements with her leading up to our wedding. Briana was extremely helpful the day of ensuring everything went smoothly. And the staff, in particular Dawn and Kevin, were very accommodating and helpful throughout the day and night. We had a special moment after cocktail hour as Dawn walked us through the ballroom which was set up and ready to welcome guests for the reception. It was great to see it all come together, and the staff was very congratulatory and warm, making it an extra special moment for the two of us before the next phase of the night began. The lawn by the lighthouse (where we had our ceremony and cocktail hour), the food (apps, dinner and continental breakfast), the rooms, the pool, and the distance to Dock Square, all make it an incredible wedding venue. We could not recommend a more perfect spot to get married and we look forward to celebrating our anniversaries at this very special place!

From the service to the food, the entire process was incredible. Briana Duca was assigned as our venue coordinator and made the entire process easy from beginning to end! She was unbelievably helpful, clear and communicative, especially in the months approaching the big day. Briana and the entire Nonantum staff made our entire wedding weekend go flawlessly. Special side thank you to Esther and Jennifer for the kind words prior to the ceremony! Briana made sure communication was clear with our outside vendors all day and kept the entire wedding morning relaxing for both myself and my husband. Even when rain was a possibility, she kept us informed of the options without adding any stress. Her and her team brought to life our vision with all of the decor through their years of experience.The food was absolutely incredible from the breakfast buffet to the wedding dinner. All of our guests raved about their dishes and the kitchen was on top of any dietary restrictions by our guests. All in all, I wish we could do it all over again with the Nonantum! They are simply the best.

The Nonantum is the one and only venue we saw, and we loved it so much we decided to pick a date that was only 5 months away from when we saw it. From the initial meeting in December to our wedding day on May 26, 2023, the Nonantum was responsive and accommodating. We were assigned Amanda as our wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING. She went above and beyond and helped us sort through the craziness of wedding planning and made us at ease with our 5 month timeline. From the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour to the inside reception, everything was perfect!! I hope a friend gets married here so I can re live it as a guest. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend!

The Nonantum is truly an exceptional wedding venue of course because of its incredible location and grounds, but mostly because of its dedicated, hard-working, and kind staff across all areas of the resort. My husband and I got married in August 2022 on a fateful Friday night when minutes before our ceremony, the skies turned dark, and opened up with thunder, lightning, and the most rain I've ever seen in my life. The storm was so close, lightning struck a tree just outside the Nonantum and the power went out for about 5-10 minutes before I walked down the aisle. Thankfully, the generators kicked in and we were able to move forward with the celebrations. Throughout all of this, our wedding coordinator Tim and the entire staff at the Nonantum HUSTLED to create a romantic (and safe) ceremony indoors, move our guests out of the rain, and kept all ~175 guests comfortable inside during cocktail hour and the reception. Throughout the entire weekend of our wedding, the Nonantum staff delivered 5 star service, they were attentive and patient and so so helpful. I am most grateful to Tim Ames who is truly an exceptional person. He was an incredible support to my husband and I during the wedding planning process, promptly answering our emails and taking our calls, reassuring us often, and offering proactive ideas for us to consider. I want to call out one of the many things Tim did that made getting married at the Nonantum truly one-of-a-kind: my dad unexpectedly passed away 5 months before our wedding day, and Tim worked with me to find ways to honor my dad on the big day. I was anxious about how to incorporate my dad into the day, and Tim thought of the idea to print custom wine bottle stickers with a photo of my dad drinking his well-known, staple glass of chardonnay. We made our signature cocktail \"Bob's Chardonnay\" and each table had the custom wine bottle, and the bar displayed it with a sign and yellow flowers which were his favorite. Most of my wedding planning process was spent working through the deep pain of my grief, and somehow trying to think about this impending date where I would be happy to celebrate again. Tim made me feel supported by the whole team at Nonantum that I was able to get excited about the events and able to truly enjoy my wedding day with little stress or sadness - it truly was a celebration of my dad's life and legacy and the beginning of a happy chapter in my and my husband's new life together. Even with the biggest storm I could have ever imagined hitting minutes before our ceremony, I was not stressed, Tim had it under control. Tim looked after my mom's needs that day too, and of course, all of our guests. I know there were many people behind the scenes helping Tim, including Dawn and others, who worked incredibly hard to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams, and most of all, kept our guests safe and happy. I can't thank you all enough for your kindness, your hard work, and your patience. While I picked the Nonantum so we could get married by the water in Maine, I got an even more beautiful indoor wedding by candlelight, thanks to each person at the Nonantum. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Perfect. From start to finish the entire team crushed every detail. Our Coordinator Ariel was wonderful, she made sure everything went smoothly and was great to work with. The entire staff at the Nonantum is truly one of a kind. We received SO many compliments on the staff which in itself says a lot. Many guests came up to us and spoke about how welcoming, kind and happy everyone there was. The food, the cake, the drinks, the location - everything was perfect. The Nonantum holds many weddings which makes them a well oiled machine (another pro) but they made us feel like we were the most important wedding they had. I am very detail oriented and can be a perfectionist and all I have to say is positive things about the Nonantum. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend.

We could not have picked a more amazing location for our wedding than the Nonantum. The grounds are beautiful, the accommodations are lovely, the food is delectable, and the staff are simply wonderful! Everyone was so kind and helpful, and made every effort to make sure our stay/experience, as well as that of our guests, was special and thoroughly enjoyable. It was a day none of us will ever forget and the Nonantum was a huge part of that. I'd like to give a special shout out and thank you to Tim for being such an incredible coordinator - your help and guidance was greatly appreciated! We cannot recommend the Nonantum enough for an incredible wedding experience!

5 stars is an understatement! The Nonantum and staff were integral to our wedding success. The location is both stunning and charming, the food is absolutely incredible, the service is top notch, and the wedding cake baker Amanda is very talented. Even with all the obstacles that come with planning a wedding during a pandemic, we were met with flexibility and guidance throughout the whole process. We were so lucky to work with Erin Fralley and Mat Havrilla who helped us every the step of the way. Both are wonderful people to work with; very responsive communicators with attention to detail. It is clear that they are truly invested in planning each couples' wedding and their passion is evident in the excellence of their work. We had an incredible experience with the Nonantum resort. Due to Covid, we rescheduled our wedding celebration three times and they were so supportive and accommodating. Tim is incredibly kind and helpful - he makes it clear that his goal is to give you the wedding celebration you want and he delivers on every promise! Our friends and family raved about the food - it was high quality and well cooked. The scenery at the Nonantum is a dream and it is super convenient that everything is on site, from rooms to parking to food and drinks! We had an incredible experience with the Nonantum resort. Due to Covid, we rescheduled our wedding celebration three times and they were so supportive and accommodating. Tim is incredibly kind and helpful - he makes it clear that his goal is to give you the wedding celebration you want and he delivers on every promise! Our friends and family raved about the food - it was high quality and well cooked. We had our May 21, 2022 wedding at the Nonantum this past weekend and it was perfect. The entire Nonantum team takes hospitality to the next level. Everyone was always so friendly and kind. Our guests raved about the food, cake and venue. The breakfast each morning was also a highlight of our wedding weekend in Kennebunkport- so good! Our day of coordinator was Briana and she was very prompt at responding and organizing everything for the day to run as smoothly as possible. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was (especially the mushroom ravioli). All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and charming. We've been going to the Nonantum for years now, and couldn't think of a better location for our wedding. We worked with the amazing Mathew Havrilla and had such an amazing experience. The weekend of the wedding, the entire staff at the Nonantum was so accommodating - ensuring our guests were all set with their accommodations, and just being so pleasant & friendly. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up accordingly and was so beautiful - the Nonantum really has the best views and ambience. The drinks & food were incredible and so many of our guests commented on the high quality of the service. If you are looking for a beautiful, coastal wedding venue - look no further than the Nonantum Resort - it will truly be the best decision you can make!!We can't express how amazing it was to work with Mathew Havrilla - he was such a large contributor to the best day of our lives and we can't thank him enough. Mathew was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was extremely communicative, detailed, and organized... even in the most crazy wedding year! Katie and Alex’s wedding on 8.7.21 at the Nonantum exceeded our expectations after nearly 3 years of planning, waiting and planning. Even before Katie and Alex returned from their engagement (September 2018), Tom and I were in Kennebunkport looking for wedding venues. We stopped at the Nonantum for dinner and had a drink in the bar meeting Meagan Kaarto (Bar Manager) who enthusiastically described Nonantum weddings and we were hooked; this is what we all wanted! The next day Tim Ames, Director of Sales and Consummate Wedding Planner, gave us a tour but we needed Katie and Alex to agree, obviously it was their wedding. Katie and Alex looked at other venues in Kennebunkport but nothing compared with a location on the river yet near shops in town. We stayed at the Nonantum on a weekend in November and booked 6.27.20 (first available weekend). We began working with Briana Collard, Sales & Event Coordinator, to plan the perfect wedding and then the pandemic happened. Briana and Tim could not have been more helpful in forwarding Katie & Alex’s new date to August 7, 2021, the first day to match up with their ceremony at St. Ann’s. We were very grateful our Nonantum recommended vendors (Fleurant - florals, Sperry - tent, Double Platinum DJ - Chris Gordan, Patrick McNamara - photographer and Intown Trolley - transportation) rolled their contracts forward to the new date. Nonantum attracts the best vendors in the area who will give you great advice because they are familiar with the venue. During the next 16 months Briana checked in on us and then we began to plan the big day all over again but with new ideas. No matter what Katie and Alex requested, Briana was always positive. Can the baker make a tiered crumb Wedding Cake with fresh flowers and a Groom Cake in the shape of Texas? Of course! Can we arrive at the Nonantum in an antique car? Sure, we’ve done that. Can we have a sparkler send off? Absolutely, it’s a great ending to your reception. And the hotel van drivers will ferry your guests to and from your After Party (it was at the Pilot House). Briana made sure the wedding party and parents in the Bride and Groom Get Ready rooms got their lunches and beverages at midday; this is very important. And she even found Alex’s misplaced “Just Married Sign” for the antique car after a last-minute frantic search so the Bride and Bridesmaids could get on the trolley to the church on time. At the reception, our guests loved the individual pop-up tents along the Kennebunk River and great service from the bar at the cocktail hour (Meagan of course was there). Guests loved the food and commented on the excellent service at dinner, how did they know my name and menu choice? Actually, that was a question I kept asking Briana and she always said, “they will know”. Well the entire weekend was perfect from beginning to end with an outdoor tent and bar setup that rivaled a movie set complete with exceptional service from the entire staff. Our guests were impressed with the Nonantum, especially those that stayed at the hotel (this is a real plus). We all wanted a happy, memorable, and sweet day (in other words “perfect”)for their long-awaited wedding and that was achieved at the Nonantum. Most important, after all the years of planning, Katie, Alex, and their parents just soaked in the wedding weekend experience and let Briana and her staff take over (especially me, the perfectionist MOB - thanks so much Briana!).

I’m not really sure where to begin. This is by far the best resort in Maine. We hosted a destination wedding durning a pandemic and I can tell you that Tim and the rest of the Nonantum staff made it nothing but easy. Our wedding came together perfectly. Beyond the wedding the resort is gorgeous, the staff goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, the food is impeccable and the customer service is above the rest. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous the resort was, how amazing the foos was and our wedding cake made by Amanda at the resort was the best I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t spend another second thinking about booking another place. It’s perfect.

The Nonantum is truly THE BEST. From our first tour of the resort, my fiance & I were taken with the charm and beauty of the property. Tim Ames was so knowledgeable and friendly, and helped us secure the venue for our wedding on 8/22/21. We were then assigned Mathew Havrilla as our event coordinator, and there are not enough positive things I can say about Matt. Throughout the wedding planning process, I was constantly emailing/texting him with questions, and he was always positive, responsive, and accomodating to all our requests. When Hurricane Henri hit on our wedding weekend and threw a wrench into our plans, Matt and the Nonantum staff were prepared and pivoted flawlessly. I wanted to get a few photos in outside before the storm, and Matt literally chauferred our bridal party in a golf cart so we wouldn't have to walk in the muddy grass. Long story short, we moved our wedding indoors and it was absolutely beautiful. We got SO many compliments from our guests, and we could not have done it without Matt and his team. The Nonantum is such a special place and my fiance & I are already planning to return for our anniversary!!

I have saved this review for last because it is so hard to capture just how AMAZING the Nonantum Resort is! When my husband and I were looking at different wedding venues around coastal Maine, truly nothing compared to the Nonantum. It stood miles above every other location in our eyes. My mom and I were blown away by the kindness and hospitality of Tim Ames, the Director of Sales, on our first tour of the Nonantum. Whenever my mom or I had questions or forgot something that was shared with us on the tour, Tim was there for us. My husband and I were originally supposed to be married in July 2020, but we worked closely with the Nonantum staff to move our wedding to July 2021 due to the pandemic. They were also incredibly accommodating with moving our room block from our old date to our new date so that our guests didn't have to rebook any of their hotel rooms. My husband and I had Briana Collard as our wedding coordinator and we can't speak highly enough of her. She is flexible, kind, understanding, and knowledgable. It had rained very hard the day before our wedding, and on the morning of our wedding, Briana was out in the wet mud setting up our decorations under the tent! She is a trooper! She communicated effectively with all of our vendors and they speak very highly of her, as well. She also was great at answering all of my last minute questions the week leading up to our wedding. One of the best parts about having your wedding at the Nonantum is that everything is right there: the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, guest accommodations, local shops & restaurants, etc. Everything is in a one-stop shop - no unnecessary travel! Our guests loved making a weekend getaway out of our wedding and have continued to rave over how beautiful (and convenient) everything was at the Nonantum. There is also no need to hire a caterer because Nonantum provided all of the delicious food for our wedding - from the appetizers all the way to the wedding cake and late night bites. We hired all of our vendors based on Nonantum's recommendations, and they recommend only the best of the best in the industry who have worked Nonantum weddings before. I truly wish we could do the entire wedding all over again. My husband and I will most definitely be visiting Nonantum as much as possible because it will always remain as an incredibly special place in our hearts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

They were also incredibly accommodating with moving our room block from our old date to our new date so that our guests didn't have to rebook any of their hotel rooms. My husband and I had Briana Collard as our wedding coordinator and we can't speak highly enough of her. She is flexible, kind, understanding, and knowledgable. It had rained very hard the day before our wedding, and on the morning of our wedding, Briana was out in the wet mud setting up our decorations under the tent! She is a trooper! She communicated effectively with all of our vendors and they speak very highly of her, as well. She also was great at answering all of my last minute questions the week leading up to our wedding. One of the best parts about having your wedding at the Nonantum is that everything is right there: the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, guest accommodations, local shops & restaurants, etc. Everything is in a one-stop shop - no unnecessary travel! Our guests loved making a weekend getaway out of our wedding and have continued to rave over how beautiful (and convenient) everything was at the Nonantum. There is also no need to hire a caterer because Nonantum provided all of the delicious food for our wedding - from the appetizers all the way to the wedding cake and late night bites. We hired all of our vendors based on Nonantum's recommendations, and they recommend only the best of the best in the industry who have worked Nonantum weddings before. I truly wish we could do the entire wedding all over again. My husband and I will most definitely be visiting Nonantum as much as possible because it will always remain as an incredibly special place in our hearts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Tim unfortunately had a family emergency and was unable to attend our wedding, so Matt and Brianna stepped in to help ensure our day went smoothly. They too were fantastic! Brianna was at my side all day making sure I had what I needed. I didn’t have to lift a finger on my big day, which made me feel so relaxed and allowed me to enjoy the most important day of my life. It was pure magic. All of our guests commented on the incredible service, the kind staff, and the amazing food! My #1 concern for my wedding was that my guests had a positive experience and boy did the Nonantum deliver. While planning a wedding during a pandemic is very difficult, we always knew we were in good hands with the Nonantum. Jenna and the rest of the team at the Nonantum were so amazing to work with, we feel so lucky to have chosen to have our wedding ceremony and reception there! They truly know how to host a wedding and made sure every detail was taken care of for us. They were super responsive every time we emailed/called with a question, and they listened to every idea we had. The wedding planning process can be stressful but as soon as we arrived at the Nonantum for the weekend of our wedding we immediately felt so relaxed knowing we were in good hands and they would take care of anything that came up. For example, when I got a mark on my dress after the first look and before the ceremony, they came right over with chalk to help me cover it up. After the reception, they provide complimentary trolley service to shuttle guests to Federal Jack's bar for an after party which was the selling point for us - we knew our friends and family wouldn't be ready to call it a night after the reception! Overall it was an incredible wedding weekend in a beautiful place. Our guests can't stop raving about how beautiful the location of the Nonantum is, how great it was for guests to walk into town from the hotel if they wanted to explore, how great the food was and overall how everything went so smoothly. Having our wedding at the Nonantum Resort was the best decision that we could have made. Not only was the staff amazing the day of our wedding but they were also amazing during every other aspect of the weekend! We got SO many compliments from our guests about how at home they felt at the Nonantum and how they would want to return for just a weekend!The wedding planning process was super easy. Brittani, our amazing wedding coordinator, helped to make sure I was on track and helped to calm my nerves when I thought I was really behind. We did everything over the phone or via email since I live outside of Boston but I never felt like that was an issue (and honestly, preferred it!).One of our favorite parts of the planning process was the food tasting - it was one of the few places where we got to bring both sides of our family which we loved! We made a whole weekend out of it and our parents really enjoyed getting the chance to try the food with us (all the food is AMAZING, by the way!).The day of the wedding was a dream come true. I was a little nervous because it did down pour the whole morning before our afternoon ceremony. I asked Brittani when we needed to make a decision by to bring it inside (since many places make you call it at 1 or 2pm) and she let me know that they would set up the outdoor ceremony either way and only set up the indoor if necessary. Long story short, it rained up until about 3:30pm and once it stopped, the staff wiped down the chairs so we could fulfill our dream of getting married outside! Brittani helped to keep me relaxed about the situation all day which I can't thank her for enough!The day was SO easy for us and everything went smoothly. The food was AMAZING along with the Gluten Free desserts that had made because I have a gluten allergy. Brittani went above and beyond when I asked if we could start speeches a little ahead of schedule (I wanted more dancing time with the band!) and she made that happen for me by talking to the band.We will never be able to say enough great things about the Nonantum and look forward to visiting them in the years to come!

If you are looking to get married in Kennebunkport, look no further than The Nonantum! From start to finish, The Nonantum staff exceeded all of our expectations. We hosted a tented wedding in August outside on the lawn with ~160 guests. As a type-A planner and perfectionist, I had high expectations for the service, set-up, design, and overall guest experience. Brittani, Tim, and The Nonantum staff were incredibly responsive, consultative, and accommodating throughout the planning process, providing helpful recommendations based on their experience and expertise to bring my vision to life. Coordinating multiple vendors (florals, tent, rentals, bakers, band, photographers, videographers, transportation, etc) can be a daunting task and The Nonantum made sure that all elements came together seamlessly on the day-of without a hitch. The setting outside is absolutely breathtaking (right on the Kennebunk river with the best sunsets you'll see in you life) and the venue allows for you to host an event that easily flows from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception -- allowing you to maximize your time celebrating with your loved ones! Tim worked with us closely throughout the planning process, always available for any questions we had and, as out-of-towners, always made himself available whenever we were able to travel up there. When you are planning a wedding and trying to coordinate with so many different vendors, it can be difficult to see how everything comes together on wedding day but I felt instantly at ease when I walked in to the Nonantum on wedding day. There truly aren’t words to describe how perfect our wedding day was all thanks to Tim and the Nonantum staff! Tim worked with us closely throughout the planning process, always available for any questions we had and, as out-of-towners, always made himself available whenever we were able to travel up there. When you are planning a wedding and trying to coordinate with so many different vendors, it can be difficult to see how everything comes together on wedding day but I felt instantly at ease when I walked in to the Nonantum on wedding day. Absolutely everything was perfectly coordinated, set-up and run exactly as we had pictured. My husband and I had an intimate wedding of 20 guests in Fall of 2018 at the Nonantum Resort. With the Nonantum's help, it was truly an unforgettable weekend and one of the happiest moments of our lives!Location - Absolutely wonderful! The lawn where ceremonies are held is right on the water, just a 2-minute drive to the oceanside where you can get some fantastic couples shots together. They provide a backup venue for the ceremony in case of inclement weather which is great!Price - Affordable for intimate weddings.Event Coordination - Every wedding gets an event coordinator. That was a lifesaver at the wedding! We had Catie T. She was always very responsive and organized. Catie and her staff took care of everything at the wedding - setting up the reception table with our decorations, setting up the ceremony site, playing the music for the processional, coordinating with deliveries, storing everything, etc. Catie has a very calm demeanor and doesn’t react negatively even when the people around are stressed. She clearly is very good at her job and I am very thankful that we had her!Reception - Appetizers were amazing! We had a plated dinner and I have only heard positive comments about the food at the reception from our guests. The groom and I went out for photos at sunset and the staff actually put some covers over our food while we did that which was very thoughtful. The Nonantum was VERY good about handling food allergies. Our cake was served and they followed specific instructions about that perfectly. We had a small nautical knot on the cake and they even split the knot between the groom’s plate and mine. Details, people. Details. Catie hooked us up with votive candles for the reception and everything else we needed for the reception (linens, napkins, servingware, cake utensils, etc) which is a cost savings from other venues that require you to rent or bring your own.Rooms - The rooms in Nonantum are much more modern and nicer than you would expect (old building!). I didn’t particularly like the bed in the “bridal suite” but that’s being nitpicky. The room had a great “fireplace” and mantel that was great for detail shots.Reservations - Nonantum has an online area for brides/grooms to see which members of their party have reserved rooms. That is really nice and helped us keep track of guests! The reservations process a bit confusing at times and unclear. There were a few times I asked questions to the front desk/reservations staff and didn’t quite get a direct answer depending on who I got. The contract at Nonantum mentions that they will release your room block 60 days beforehand so that is important to remember. We didn’t and they don’t send you a reminder, so we messed that up for two of our guests. These were all minor things. I am only sharing for the purposes of honest feedback. But certainly none of these would deter me from booking the Nonantum!Breakfast is really good! Included in the room rates for everyone and made everything easy. This is not a continental breakfast… this is a full breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. They also had gluten-free options (great for two of our guests)! Try the blueberry pancakes.Overall I felt like we couldn’t have chosen a better option for our wedding. Nonantum takes care of all of the details so you can enjoy the day stress-free! I am very thankful to the Nonantum staff for making our day so special. Thank you!!

They are two of the kindest people we've ever met; they made us feel like family from the very beginning and that extended to our families and friends throughout our wedding weekend. Dawn and Tim's enthusiasm and professionalism are beyond reproach. All questions or concerns, no matter big or small, were addressed immediately; we were never left with any worries. It is clear from the moment you step onto the beautiful grounds that every single member of the staff takes great pride in being a part of The Nonantum Resort “family\"! So, so many of our guests made a point to tell us how very impressed they were and how truly welcome they felt to be there! As several family members have Gluten allergies, we needed a menu that could accommodate all. Everything that was served, from cocktail hour through dinner and the late night snacks served towards the end of our reception, was gluten free and all of it was AMAZING!! We are still getting comments from family and friends in attendance who say it was the best menu and food they had ever had at a wedding! Also important to note, and included in your stay, is a bountiful and delicious breakfast buffet served each morning for all guests! From the moment we arrived, through the last of us leaving Sunday morning, the truly thoughtful staff were there to take care of everything and we will never forget their kindness. We can't say enough great things about the Nonantum! We worked with Tim throughout the entire wedding planning process, and he did not disappoint. He was always available to answer questions and really brought our vision to life the day of our wedding. The venue itself was absolutely stunning and the food was amazing (we are still receiving compliments!). The only hiccup was at the end of the night, the complimentary trolley that was supposed to bring our guests to and from Federal Jack's made one trip (without the Bride and Groom) and never came back. The Nonantum ended up driving everyone that was left behind, but that was after security kept yelling at everyone to get off the sidewalk. We were told that it was Intown Trolley's mistake, but it just seemed like fingers were being pointed in every which way and it didn't fix the issue at hand. We just felt that someone should have addressed this issue better and we hope they iron out these issues for future couples getting married and they won't have to go through this same dilemma. We would still highly recommend The Nonantum and Tim to anyone looking to get married in Kennebunkport.

I still get emotional thinking about our most amazing wedding! It couldn’t have been more perfect and I have Dawn from the Nonantum to thank for that! My husband and I got married in July with 150 of our closest friends and family! Working with Dawn was THE best decision I could of ever made when choosing our wedding venue! She was extremely friendly, professional, and organized! And even though the Nonantum hosts many wedding throughout the year, she made our wedding feel special and top priority! I can only imagine that she does this for all her brides - she is just that good! Dawn made the wedding process easy! I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of our wedding - I knew I was in the best hands! I couldn’t recommend the Nonantum and Dawn more! Not to mention, the resort itself is beautiful and right on water! Food and drinks were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean! I can’t even put into words how amazing and perfect this place is! Thank you Dawn and the Nonantum family for everything! We will be back to stay soon!

There wasn’t one detail that they didn’t think about—Tim was even there to drive my husband’s grandmother up from the ceremony to the reception in a golf cart when he saw the long walk might be difficult for her. Our guests had a blast all weekend and raved about the food, friendliness of the staff and beautiful grounds. We absolutely love the Nonantum and will continue to visit in the years to come!

From the cocktail hour outside, the team setting up our tables and linens, to the incredible photo ops...it was awesome. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to enhance our experience every time we stayed on site. They made us feel like royalty! The Nonantum has become such a special place for my wife and I, and we plan to visit the rest of our lives. Now, the wedding planning process was a different story. It's hard to say, because the staff was really kind, but it really put a bad aftertaste in our mouths. We planned our wedding from across the country, so communication was extremely important to us. When reaching out to our wedding coordinator, we rarely received any communication back. With so many details to arrange, it was hard to feel comfortable in the process. And after the wedding, when finalizing the contract, they misquoted us by $4000. Never a fun conversation to have. So I guess long story short, if you are planning to get married at the Nonantum, it's worth hiring your own wedding planner.

I can not say enough about how amazing Dawn was through the whole wedding planning process. I met Dawn at a Maine Wedding Association wedding expo and she blew me away with her experience and knowledge. After my (now) husband and I visited the Nonantum Resort we knew that we had to get married there. I started planning my wedding almost two years in advance and Dawn was amazing through the whole process. She gave me advice when I needed advice and helped set things up for me when I wasn't able to since I was in grad school. As the wedding drew closer I was worried Dawn would be less attentive considering she coordinates at least one wedding a weekend at the Nonatum, but it was the exact opposite! All of the last minute things that I had forgotten about (like vendor meals and that fact that I decided to change from a head table to a sweetheart table a few months before) she took care of with ease!The absolute best part (as if the above was not enough!) was how amazing Dawn was the weekend of the wedding. I was stressed the day of rehearsal and Dawn heard about this so she came and found me, with a glass of my favorite wine in hand, and sat me down so I could talk about what was causing my stress. She then solved every problem that was stressing me out! The day of the wedding was flawless. I left the get ready room only 2 times to confirm where I wanted things placed and Dawn and the Nonantum staff took care of the rest. Everything was set up exactly as we had discussed without me having to go out and direct people. When lunch time arrived Dawn sent a member of the Nonantum staff to the bridal get ready room to bring my bridesmaids and I lunch (something we definitely would have forgotten while getting our hair and makeup done!).When it was time for the ceremony my husband was having some mild anxiety and Dawn sprung to the rescue with a table clothe for him to wipe his sweat and a few encouraging words! She continued to be just as helpful the rest of the night from signing the marriage license, to making sure speeches happened on time, to cutting the cake and making sure cupcakes were sent up to the honeymoon suite for the groom and I.I could go on and on! The Nonantum Resort is worth every penny! I continue to have guests talk about how much fun my wedding was and ask if we can do it again next year! If you want to have a stress free wedding that will far exceed any and all of your expectations I highly recommend The Nonantum Resort!!

We got married at the Nonantum in August of 2017 and everything was perfect. Our wedding coordinator Ariel promised we would not have to do anything on the day of the wedding and she was completely right. Every single employee greeted us warmly and professionally and went above and beyond to make our day memorable. Guy from Maintenance helped us not only with moving luggage but he also kindly helped transport elderly relatives who needed assistance traversing the landscape of the resort. We had 180 guests (many with dietary restrictions and allergies) and every single meal was cooked perfectly. We hope to return to the Nonantum yearly on our anniversary!

We wish we could leave more than 5 stars! We can’t say enough good things about The Nonantum Resort. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dawn to plan our wedding there this August. From start to finish, she was the epitome of professional, organized, responsive, and accommodating. We could not have had a more perfect ceremony and reception, and we know that it has much to do with Dawn and her hard-working team. We were hoping to have our wedding at a venue that could really capture the beauty of Maine, while also being relaxed and low-key. The Nonantum exceeded these expectations in every way. We could not have had a better experience!In addition to incredible wedding planning, the resort itself goes above and beyond when it comes to hospitality and service. We had many friends and family who had never been to Maine, and they were completely blown away by the friendly and helpful staff at The Nonantum. We can’t say enough about how amazing our wedding was at The Nonantum Resort! Our wedding coordinator, Dawn, was provided by the resort and was exactly what we needed. She was extremely responsive during the entire planning process and never once made us feel stressed. In fact, we often relied on her extensive experience to plan different parts of the day. She was always willing to give us some tips and it was obvious she was dedicated to making sure the day went just as we imagined. During our wedding Dawn was very professional and was able to anticipate and avoid any potential “hiccups.” She kept the wedding party and all the vendors on schedule exactly as we planned it. Dawn and all her staff were very attentive to both of us, our families, and our guests. All of our guests were so impressed with the day and the venue. We heard so many compliments after the wedding about how beautiful, professional and smoothly everything went throughout the entire day. The food was amazing too! Everyone loved their meals and we heard rave reviews about them all! The resort itself was beautiful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. The friendly inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the entire weekend. One of the biggest draws to The Nonantum for us was that we could have everything, the ceremony, the reception and lodging on site. The location was perfect with a quick walk to Kennebunkport center and the amenities were fabulous too. Our guests that stayed at the resort were provided with a delicious breakfast both days. The Nonantum even gave us our own space the day after the wedding to enjoy brunch even though it was Mother’s Day! We would highly recommend The Nonantum Resort for anyones wedding and we are so happy that we chose such a beautiful venue that we are already looking forward to visiting for many anniversaries to come! Thanks Dawn and the entire Nonantum staff for making our wedding perfect!

We were married at the Nonantum Resort in October of 2017. We had a fabulous wedding and it really couldn't have gone any better. We had both our ceremony and reception on site and it was a day that we and many of our guests will always remember. Dawn Blystone at the Nonantum was our day of wedding coordinator. Dawn's attention to detail was incredible. We planned our wedding from California and Dawn made it feel like we were right there with her. She was incredibly responsive and professional through the entire planning process and made it very easy for us. On the day of the wedding, Dawn made sure all the details were taken care of and we did not have to worry about a thing that day. In addition to Dawn, the entire staff was incredible from the day we first saw the Nonantum to the day after our wedding, we felt loved, special and at home there. Along with the beautiful grounds, renovated and charming old resort, the food was another highlight. Our guests raved about the Lobster pot pie and are still talking about it 5 months later. The food at our wedding and throughout the weekend was amazing. Brunch is delicious and was another highlight for all of our out of town guests.I would highly recommend the Nonantum to any friend looking to get married in Kennebunkport. If we could do it all over again, we would and we wouldn't change a thing!

Dawn's attention to detail was incredible. We planned our wedding from California and Dawn made it feel like we were right there with her. She was incredibly responsive and professional through the entire planning process and made it very easy for us. On the day of the wedding, Dawn made sure all the details were taken care of and we did not have to worry about a thing that day. In addition to Dawn, the entire staff was incredible from the day we first saw the Nonantum to the day after our wedding, we felt loved, special and at home there. Along with the beautiful grounds, renovated and charming old resort, the food was another highlight. Our guests raved about the Lobster pot pie and are still talking about it 5 months later. There should be a + sign after our 5 stars. we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend. from the first moment we visited the Nonantum, we felt the warmth of the staff. It was one of the main reasons we chose the location. we had an exhaustive search of locations from northern maine down to rhode island. we saw places that felr like wrdding factories, and those where the coordinators made you feel like a bother. and while we also met many wonderful people along the way, none had the genuine feeling the nonantum had. The resort provided us with Dawn as our wedding coordinator and boy was she amazing! Dawn has been doing this for over 25 years and that's exactly the kind of experience you want on your side when it comes to your big day. She ensured every little thing was exactly how, when and where we wanted it. At the end of the night we both looked at each other and agreed everything was absolutely perfect and couldn't have gone any better. A few of our outside vendors commented how strict Dawn was with them and that's precisely what you need to make sure things run smoothly. While planning, Dawn was as available as you needed. Never too pushy, but never making you feel like you were forgotten. she gently prodded when required, but never made us feel stressed. she was always supportive and there to help and answered every question asked. she was also extremely easy going. if we had specific requests (which were reasonable) she was completely flexible and accommodating the whole wedding day was so incredible we sometimes forget the amazing outdoor fire pit with s'mores for a welcome gathering the night before. Guests loved the proximity to the quaint little downtown village, and the resorts seaside views. As an added bonus the resort has a list of babysitters for hire for guests with small children. Many guests asked how we found this amazing little gem.our wedding day couldn't have gone more smoothly. for an overplanner and a stress case-i was remarkably calm the day of our wedding and I can only attribute that to the fact that I knew we were in the most capable hands! Once you see the place you'll fall in love and once you get married there you'll want to go back over and over again. Everything from our 1st tour to cutting the cake that night was nothing short of perfect. we can't thank the staff, and of course Dawn, enough for the weekend of our lives.

We chose the Nonantum Resort for our wedding in August of 2016. From top to bottom everything was truly exceptional. We are so happy we chose this beautiful location with spacious waterfront grounds and a fully committed staff to make your day seamless and memorable. The chef has an amazing list of unique creations to chose from or will even accept family recipes to recreate. From start to finish everything was in place and on time and we had peace of mind the entire experience. Our family and guests loved every newly renovated room and no two are alike. We would do it all over again.

We wanted a venue that had a beautiful, nautical, ceremony area on the water, and a nice reception space, hotel, able to do 150 people. We had a hard time finding a New England venue that fit our vision and budget too. We were glad that one of our last appointments was to visit The Nonantum. Tim Ames, the venue salesman, met us there in January when the venue was closed for the off-season. Even though the summer town of Kennebunkport was quiet and cold, and the venue was closed up and dark, we knew that we wanted our August wedding there. The facilities were beautiful, nautical and quaint: perfect for us beach lovers. Luckily, we found out that having our wedding there on a Sunday as opposed to a Saturday could help us budget-wise. Some unique things about the Nonantum: Firstly, they charge food by the plate instead of by what is offered, allowing you to give your guests many food options. They do food tastings privately with your family members too. Secondly, having the wedding coordinator be from the wedding venue was super helpful. Third, included in the price for the wedding is a trolley that will bring the wedding guests to a local brew pub for a wedding after party. Fourth, the venue works closely with a local charter sailboat that can sail the wedding party into the ceremony. (How cool is that?) And finally, there is a cute little lighthouse at the ceremony site. This sealed the deal for us! Tim Ames, the salesman and our wedding coordinator, was always willing via email, phone, and even facebook, to answer questions we had during our wedding planning process. The wedding day itself was nothing short of a dream. The staff met our expectations, and we had some specific ones. The food was served hot and delicious and in a timely manner. Many guests have said that our wedding is the best one they have been to, and we believe them!

And finally, there is a cute little lighthouse at the ceremony site. This sealed the deal for us! Tim Ames, the salesman and our wedding coordinator, was always willing via email, phone, and even facebook, to answer questions we had during our wedding planning process. The wedding day itself was nothing short of a dream. The staff met our expectations, and we had some specific ones. The food was served hot and delicious and in a timely manner. Many guests have said that our wedding is the best one they have been to, and we believe them!

Each staff member I encountered was beyond helpful and kind, offered a smile and a congratulations, and truly seemed genuinely happy for us and our special day. Our event was perfect. Dawn did an unbelievable job from start to finish. Words can not explain the depth of her expertise. She, of course, does this every weekend, but she made our event feel truly unique. She made me feel like our wedding was the only thing she had going on all summer. Our guests loved attending the event as well as staying at this beautiful property. It is truly a special place. I am so happy that I chose the Nonantum and I would recommend this venue to all those looking to work with an amazing coordinator and staff to plan their beautiful Maine wedding.

The Nonantum was a phenomenal place for my husband and I to get married this past June. We booked it only four months out. We knew we wanted to get married in Maine, and we didn't want to wait another year to do so. The Nonantum happened to have one free Saturday at the beginning of June free by freakish chance, so we grabbed it. We thought, how hard could it be to book a wedding in 4 1/2 months? As it turns out, because of the staff at The Nonantum, it was truly a great experience. I first worked with Tim, who is terrific, before being assigned to one of the event planners, Dawn. Dawn is just wonderful. She answered every question, took care of every detail and helped in every way possible. I don't know how I would've gotten through this without her. Nearly all of our guests were traveling for our wedding, and many were first-time Maine visitors. We really wanted to spend time with our guests because they had traveled so far. Because of the staff, I had to worry about so little, so we got to spend some great quality time with our guests. A large part of the hotel was booked by our party, and so many commented how great the staff were all weekend. It was so important to us that our friends and family see why we love Maine so much, and The Nonantum gave them a great experience. More than that, I don't know that there is a more picturesque, idyllic Maine location. We got married outside, but since early June can still be chilly in the evenings in Maine, we had our reception inside. It was perfect. I would recommend The Nonantum to anyone wanting to get married in this area. You won't regret it. The staff is amazing and the venue is beautiful. There were no surprise costs and it was such a pleasant experience. We can't wait to go back and visit!

Our coordinator, Tim, was wonderful - we could email with questions at any time and he was always pleasant and helpful. All of the staff was wonderful. The weather didn't cooperate very well but everything was all we could have hoped for and more. We are local and knew of the reputation of the Nonantum and having a Maine wedding by the water was what we wanted. Our guests had a great time and everyone commented on how great the wedding was. The Nonantum gave us the wedding of our dreams! We had a welcome party, the ceremony, reception, and brunch at the resort and I can't say with enough emphasis how incredible everything was from start to finish. Dawn and Meg were literally THE BEST! For any couple the hardest part is the planning; there are so many questions and options, it can seem overwhelming. However, when working with Dawn, it feels as though anything is possible. She is so patient and wonderful, it really makes the experience enjoyable and even more so, it was so much fun. We were beyond thrilled with our wedding at the Nonantum. Our wonderful event planner Ariel was accessible, helpful, and on top of everything. The staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and it was so nice to have many of our guests stay on site and enjoy the property to its fullest. We made it a priority to actually eat our food during the wedding (unlike most couples) because it was so delicious. Absolutely everything was taken care of, and I could not recommend this venue more highly.

The Nonantum deserves far more than 5 stars. Picking the Nonantum as my wedding venue was the best decision. It is so much more than a wedding venue. When I booked the Nonantum, I knew I was getting a gorgeous location. What I didn't realize was that I was also getting amazing food (seriously, people couldn't stop talking about how good it was!), and the most unbelievable staff, including a wedding coordinator (think: Fairy Godmother). Dawn was our wedding coordinator and I can't say enough good things about her. My family, husband and I invited people to come up to Kennebunkport early so that people could have a mini-vacation as part of our wedding. I had 4-5 people remark on how calm I was leading up to my wedding day (and it was supposed to rain and we had an outdoor tent wedding!!). Some of the exact terminology was \"you are as cool as a cucumber\". The reason? Fairy Godmother Dawn. I had met with her before, we had done the food tasting, I had emailed back and forth with Dawn, and my mother was working closely with Dawn. I knew that no matter what went wrong (like when I told Dawn I would be bringing the cake cutting utensils that my aunt had given us and completely forgot), it would be fixed and perfect by the time my guests arrived (and guess what?!? Dawn noticed that I hadn't remembered the cake cutting utensils and there was a lovely set just waiting for my husband and I to use to cut our cake). In addition, if you tell the Nonantum that something is important to you (no matter how big or small), it will be done. I told Dawn that arriving on a boat was really important to my husband and I. She coordinated with a local fisherman to use his mother's dock so that we could arrive by boat. People still comment to me how awesome it was that we arrived by boat. In fact, people continually comment to me, even months after my wedding, that it was the best wedding they have every attended. \r\rI honestly couldn't be happier with my wedding. I tell my friends who are getting married now and stressing over decisions that seem huge (roses or peonies?) that no matter what decision you are making now, the day of your wedding it will seem like the right decision. However, I know that is true because I chose the Nonantum. Having my guests arrive to a gorgeous cocktail party along the water with friendly staff serving drinks and amazing food (think: lobster crostinis, scallops served in bacon, etc.). Plus, the second my husband and I arrived, Dawn had drinks waiting for us and snacks (yes!!!! She even had special snacks for me because I'm allergic to all dairy). I should also mention that Dawn went out of her way to find me a dairy free cake so that I could have some cake during our cake cutting. Above and beyond... that is the Nonantum's way. \r\rI HIGHLY recommend the Nonatum for any future wedding for function (I'm already thinking about my 10 year anniversary at the Nonantum!!). You will be getting so much more than a beautiful location and as you will realize on your wedding day, it will be the best decision you made!

The Nonantum deserves far more than 5 stars. Picking the Nonantum as my wedding venue was the best decision. It is so much more than a wedding venue. When I booked the Nonantum, I knew I was getting a gorgeous location. What I didn't realize was that I was also getting amazing food (seriously, people couldn't stop talking about how good it was!), and the most unbelievable staff, including a wedding coordinator (think: Fairy Godmother). Dawn was our wedding coordinator and I can't say enough good things about her. My family, husband and I invited people to come up to Kennebunkport early so that people could have a mini-vacation as part of our wedding. I had 4-5 people remark on how calm I was leading up to my wedding day (and it was supposed to rain and we had an outdoor tent wedding!!). Some of the exact terminology was \"you are as cool as a cucumber\". The reason? Fairy Godmother Dawn. I had met with her before, we had done the food tasting, I had emailed back and forth with Dawn, and my mother was working closely with Dawn. I knew that no matter what went wrong (like when I told Dawn I would be bringing the cake cutting utensils that my aunt had given us and completely forgot), it would be fixed and perfect by the time my guests arrived (and guess what?!? Dawn noticed that I hadn't remembered the cake cutting utensils and there was a lovely set just waiting for my husband and I to use to cut our cake). In addition, if you tell the Nonantum that something is important to you (no matter how big or small), it will be done. I told Dawn that arriving on a boat was really important to my husband and I. She coordinated with a local fisherman to use his mother's dock so that we could arrive by boat. People still comment to me how awesome it was that we arrived by boat. In fact, people continually comment to me, even months after my wedding, that it was the best wedding they have every attended. \r\rI honestly couldn't be happier with my wedding. We could not have chosen a better location for our Maine wedding. The food was fantastic (we sent the chef some traditional New Mexican foods and they did a great job) the evening of the tasting went so well, we had no changes to make. The staff is so professional, organized, and CALM that I never worried about how things were going or if my guests were being treated well. They were beyond accommodating to all my requests and wishes. They recommended other vendors for me since I was planning the wedding from California; I appreciated having their resources to look into. The Nonantum is simply top notch. My husband and I go back every summer to visit. What's wonderful is that 6 years later, our guests still bring up our wedding and how perfect it was. The scenery is breathtaking but the way you are treated while at the resort is first class. If I could my day over again, I would have it at no other location. I'd choose Nonantum in a heartbeat! I love them and am grateful for my perfect wedding!

My husband and I had our dream wedding a few weeks ago at the Nonantum. We fell in love with the Nonantum right away and we could not have asked for a better venue, location, or staff. Our event contact, Tim Ames, could not have been nicer or easier to work with. We were planning our wedding from a distance and Tim provided comfort and was very responsive during the whole planning process. Every single detail was taken care of the day of the wedding by the Nonantum staff, I didn't have anything to worry about - I was actually able to relax and enjoy my wedding. Every detail had a special touch - their extremely kind staff went above and beyond for us by having drinks and appetizers waiting for the bridal party upon arrival and by treating our guests with the utmost respect. I cannot say enough good things about the Nonantum. It is a beautiful venue with great views of the Kennebunk River and a lovely ballroom for a large reception... but ultimately, Tim and his staff were what made our dream wedding come true!

Our son was married on the property on October 17th. It was the most beautiful setting. Everything went perfectly and the staff was very accommodating to every detail. I highly recommend The Nonantum Resort! From my first visit to the resort for a tour to the day after my wedding, I experienced nothing but the best and friendliest service from every one at the Nonantum. My wedding coordinator, Ariel, was an instant friend. She went above and beyond to make my dream wedding come true and was always available to meet or talk on the phone to go over details with me. The entire day was perfect, with no hiccups thanks to her and the rest of her staff! The setting is just beautiful and all of my guests had a wonderful time, they are still talking about it months later! We were married at the Nonantum on July 18th and cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing venue. The location is absolutely stunning with the Maine coast in the background. The food and service are top notch. It is also walkable to to the beach and to the quaint downtown filled with adorable shops and restaurants. We loved that our guests could come for the weekend and enjoy the adorable town of Kennebunkport. The staff at the Nonantum are hands down AMAZING. We had a welcome party on the lawn Friday evening, our ceremony and reception Saturday and then a brunch on Sunday. A lot of the same staff worked all three of these events and everyday they would go above and beyond to make the event perfect and make us feel like royalty. I know they worked very long hours each day to make this happen but they never made it seem like they did. Our wedding planner Tim is by far the best thing about the Nonantum. They are very lucky to have him. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He made my life so much easier throughout the wedding planning process and made our wedding beautiful and stress free. He genuinely cared about us and our guests and it showed. We were able to enjoy the best day of our lives and take everything in because he took care of everything else. From coordinating with vendors, checking the weather every 10 minutes so I didn't have to worry, decorating our ceremony and reception exactly how I described, he did it all with a friendly smile. We have received many compliments about how our wedding was one of the most beautiful and seamless weddings they’ve ever attended and we owe a lot of this to Tim!

We had our wedding at the Nonantum at the end of June. Our wedding day and planning experience truly exceeded our expectations. We were so sad when it was over because it was truly our favorite day ever. \r Dawn was our coordinator and was wonderful. She was incredibly flexible when we had to cancel a few people last minute due to medical emergencies.
