Our wedding at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom was a wonderful experience! The venue is absolutely stunning! The atrium provided a beautiful setting for our wedding ceremony and for photos during the evening. The reception space was exactly what we were looking for, with the hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows with views of the Fox River and Paramount Theater. Our coordinator Emile did an AMAZING job and made sure everything ran smoothly. She had such a calm demeanor and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. All of the staff that worked during our wedding were wonderful! Our experience with the Paramount Meyer Ballroom exceeded our expectations. We could not imagine a more perfect wedding day! Thank you all again!

Our wedding at Paramount’s Meyer Ballroom was a wonderful experience! The venue is absolutely stunning! The atrium provided a beautiful setting for our wedding ceremony and for photos during the evening. The Team definitely did an amazing job throughout the whole wedding planning process! Their responses were so prompt. The venue itself was beautiful. The transitions throughout the day were seamless as well because of how the venue is. And our Day of Coordinator, Emile-Margaret, she was literally perfect to work with. She actually showed us the venue, and sold us on it. And on the day of, SHE WAS ON POINT! We were so thankful to have her help. She also did an amazing job with connecting with all of our vendors. Cannot say enough positive things about this venue for our wedding! First the natural light made all photos gorgeous, not to mention the riverfront and balcony access for guests. Communication was prompt, clear, and quick. They let me visit countless times and assisted in decor, offering suggestions and helping me put my vision together. The vendors they have connections with were amazing to work with and produced quality service. Our guests complimented the space and it felt intimate even with 100 people there. Shoutout to Sam for being an amazing coordinator and helping out behind the scenes way more than I even realize!

The Paramount Ballroom was a perfect place for our wedding. When covid hit and we had to cancel unexpectedly, they were very fair in giving us a full refund. We rescheduled our wedding for 2023 and had the best experience. Our coordinator was efficient and prompt and everything was just the way we planned. Just had my daughters wedding there in June of 2023. From pre-planning planning to their beautiful day, everything was amazing, from the venue, staff, music and food, it was a perfect day. Our coordinator Sam did an amazing job with keeping everything in check and on track. She was professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. She made our bride and guests feel at home. The venue is a perfect spot to celebrate a wedding, host a meeting, luncheon, celebrate a birthday or anniversary. They have everything you need for a great event. What a grwat place. Absolutely the best bang for your dollar without having to compromise on beauty of the venue! We looked at a lot of venues in the chicagoland area and nobody came close to what Paramount could offer. They made the whole process super easy-even for me who had no idea what I wanted. The venue is gorgeous, the staff super communicative and accommodating. Our day of coordinator Emile-Margaret even came out with water bottles while we were taking photos at the venue before the reception. I’d highly recommend.

If you're looking for a sign to book here, do it! The Paramount was so wonderful through the entire process of our wedding. Affordable, flexible, all of the right things built in to make the process easy while also allowing flexibility for your day. If you are lucky enough to get Sam Haywood as your consultant consider yourself lucky, even during her own maternity leave she was always on top of it and every little question I had was answered in such a helpful way. When we were helped out during her leave by other consultants they were JUST as wonderful and helpful. Truly, all our guests were gushing about how beautiful the venue was (we were in the Meyer Ballroom). My mom who has planned two other weddings for my older sisters and been in a lot of wedding planning meetings and venue visits immediately said it was the easiest and best venue tour she'd ever had in her life right after we met. We booked like...the next day. Add a little magic of the theatre to your big day!

Our wedding was this year in March. Due to Covid we had to postpone twice. The staff at Meyer Ballroom were awesome with accommodating us during these difficult times. When our day came, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue handled communicating with all of our vendors and made sure that everything was in place. Everything was beautiful. I have no complaints. The venue is beautiful and all our guests loved it. Our Coordinator Breanne was very pleasant and polite and always smiling. I would recommend this beautiful venue to everyone I know. Now my family friend Arnita Perdue is an event coordinator. Please reach out to her if you are looking for an elegant place off of the water to have your special day!

Choosing to get married at the Meyer Ballroom was a no-brainer! The Atrium is the perfect location for a ceremony, and with the edison-bulb and dangling lights, it made for beautiful pictures. The Meyer Ballroom overlooks the river and the Paramount Theatre, which makes for a beautiful back drop. I also love that they let you choose from a list of caterers; we went with stations from Reuland and still get compliments on the food. The staff at the Meyer Ballroom is 10/10. They all made the process so smooth, from the months leading up through the day of, each person I worked with was a joy. I can't recommend them enough!

I fell in love with this venue even before I was engaged. The views from the reception hall are gorgeous and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved it! Sam was our day of coordinator and she did such an amazing job and was so helpful to me on what ended up being a much more stressful wedding day than I had anticipated. Everyone we worked with in the wedding planning process was great! It all fell together so well and everything was beautiful! I highly recommend Meyer Ballroom!

Breanne was the most incredibly wedding coordinator, working tirelessly before, during, and after our wedding to make our day special. When my husband and I first started planning our wedding in 2018 for a 2020 date, we never could have anticipated that we’d be faced with a worldwide pandemic, causing us to wind up changing our wedding date several times. This was an unbelievably stressful situation, but we couldn’t have been luckier to have the wonderful team at Paramount by our side the entire time. Specifically, our event coordinator, Breanne. Sometimes, we would go months without any new updates regarding when we’d be able officially have our wedding, but Breanne was constantly there for us whenever we needed her to answer any questions we may have had. When it finally came time for us to have our wedding, it was better than we could have possibly imagined. Breanne, and all of the other hardworking people at Paramount, truly went above and beyond to make our day as magical as possible, And let’s not forget to mention just how beautiful the space is. The Grand Gallery is so beautiful on its own, that having your wedding there should be a no-brainer. We just received our photos from our wedding, and needless to say, we definitely went with the right venue. Paramount and Breanne were just so incredible to work with, and if you choose to plan your wedding with them, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Meyer Ballroom is beautiful and the only place to celebrate any event! We had our reception there and it was fantastic! And the bridal suite was just amazing! We loved working with the Paramount Theatre and the entire events team! A very special shout out to Briana Jackson-Webber and Breanne Dunfee, they were so kind and understanding during the pandemic and we were able to reschedule our reception (multiple times) to a later date with ease! We loved working with the Paramount Theatre and the entire events team! A very special shout out to Briana Jackson-Webber and Breanne Dunfee, they were so kind and understanding during the pandemic and we were able to reschedule our reception (multiple times) to a later date with ease! The view that comes with it is just beyond words can't explain. It's also perfect for romantic photos.We were very lucky to have Sam Gaul as our wedding coordinator. She was very kind to us and the whole family and so patient when it came to rehearsal and the day of the event. Definitely took all the stress away. They give you all the information you need to book everything and to hire anyone to make your special day perfect. From a photographers, to flowers , to wedding dresses all of the aboveI highly recommend any couples looking for a venue to make sure you book at the Meyer Ballroom. It's a beautiful space - especially the reception room, which overlooks Paramount Theater and the Aurora river. It's stunning at night and we got a ton of compliments on the unique space. We were also given details that helped with planning, including a list of vendors you can reach out that tend to offers discounts for working with Meyer's Ballroom. My only advice would be to be clear about the parking on your invites and wedding website - tell guests to arrive early. Overall though, such a great venue. It's lovely on it's own, but can also be dressed up wonderfully with personal touches.

This is a beautiful venue for both ceremony and reception! Especially the atrium after the remodel, it is simply gorgeous. Not only did the venue and location work great for us, but the staff really is what got us to choose the Meyer Ballroom as our venue. I cannot rave enough about our amazing coordinator, Kelsey, who made our entire day truly magical. The venue is extremely accessible , which was a key component when we were venue searching, we were able to have the cocktail located in one area and then we chose to do a room flip after the ceremony. We LOVED the ease of everything the Paramount offered from the Bridal Suite, Groomsmen Room, Valet Parking, and all on one level. I truly cannot emphasize enough how exceptional Kelsey was. Kelsey answered ENDLESS e-mails from me for MONTHS, and then daily the week of the wedding, and she was working with multiple sets of parents-which she did flawlessly. We are beyond overjoyed to have had such a perfect day/night at the Paramount's Meyer Ballroom. We were so thrilled, we actually bought a seat at the Paramount to mark our wedding date, and as a tribute and thank you for the exceptional experience we had.

We got married here on 7-27-19. We loved the venue- when we went to visit for the first time, and stepped into the Meyer Ballroom, it just felt right. WOW! We have had so many compliments on our venue. We wanted a non-traditional venue, and we got it! We were at the Grand Gallery, which is the lobby to the actual theater, not the Meyer Ballroom. The staff was amazing to work with from start to finish. I truly felt like every person that works there wanted us to have the best wedding possible. If you're planning a wedding, be sure you check out the Grand Gallery. You might have to be flexible with your dates because of their theater shows, but you will NOT regret it!

I worked with Jordan and Kelsey and they were amazing! Jordan was my day of coordinator and she was easy to get a hold of, accommodating, extremely friendly and oh so helpful. She was a Brides absolute dream. When our original church dropped us 60days before the wedding Jordan helped me find a replacement officiant even though we weren't having our ceremony and her venue! She listened to my vision and supported every piece of decor I wanted. Our family and friends are STILL raving about how amazing cocktail hour and our reception where here! And, as if it could get any better, the cost is RIGHT! Me and my husband booked the same day we visited, but the staff is not pushy at all and encourage you to take time to.think about it and allow you to come back and walk the space as many times as you need to before your big day. 20/10 would reccomend this location. We're probably going to be hosting other events here just so we can return. Thank you so much Paramount's Meyer Ballroom!!

I CANNOT Express how amazing the staff was at Paramount's!! I have not idea how i even stumbled on them but this venue is a hidden gem in Aurora. the venue is STUNNING and can easily be transformed to match whatever your dream vision is. I worked with Jordan and Kelsey and they were amazing! Jordan was my day of coordinator and she was easy to get a hold of, accommodating, extremely friendly and oh so helpful. And I must say it was one of the greatest decisions we have made. The staff at the Paramount events made wedding planning a breeze and answered all my questions without any hesitation. They're amazing list of vendors were so helpful. The venue is so beautiful that we didn't feel like we needed to over decorate. Downtown Aurora gave us the slight feel of a Chicago wedding without all the craziness. We couldn't have picked a better place to say I do. Also, they gave all of our guests a ticket to see one of the shows at the Paramount Theater as a favor. Compared to other venues we looked at, we felt that the Meyer Ballroom was the best value. They offered a few bar packages to choose from and also let you choose your own caterer. We also loved the location. Being in downtown Aurora on the river walk, there were a lot of different spots within walking distance that we were able to use for our wedding photos. We also loved the the Meyer Ballroom had so many windows with a nice view of the river. I'd highly recommend this venue for your wedding or special event.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Paramount's Grand Gallery and it was GRAND. Kelsey was our event coordinator and she was awesome to work with. My husband and I planned most of the wedding as our bridal party was out of town and had a lot of last minute things to take care of. Kelsey was an angel in disguise as she helped us handle all the last minute things. Kelsey was very accommodating of what we wanted and suggested a few things we could do differently. The staff was very attentive to all the guests and ensured all the glasses were filled and the guests were taken care of. Both the guests and the bride and groom had a wonderful experience. From beginning to end, my experience with the Paramount was perfect. My wedding exceeded even my own expectations. Jordan, my coordinator, made everything possible. I have honestly never worked with anyone so responsive, accommodating, and helpful. There were honestly no problems; not one. Jordan and her colleagues also have professional relationships with other popular vendors (caterers, DJs, etc.) in the area, so the people I chose were already familiar with the venue, and they handled all the logistics from beginning to end. All I had to do was show up with my decorations and ideas. Everything in your contract is exactly what you pay; there are no surprises, and the price is incredible. I cannot stress enough how perfect everything was. As stressful as wedding planning can be (you run into questions and requests you don't anticipate on your end), Jordan didn't even have to bat an eye before offering a perfect solution. The wedding itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony on the Copley Theatre stage inside the North Island Center, and our reception was in the Meyer Ballroom, with cocktail hour was in the Atrium. My guests repeatedly thanked me for the ease of having everything in one building. Parking was included with valet for all guests, and the venue gave all our guests a free ticket to one of the Paramount's Broadway series shows. This was a huge hit with my guests, and it sort of prolonged the celebration, as several of my family and friends are now planning a trip to see a show together! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue, and especially Jordan. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our big day an event that could have absolutely not been close to matched anywhere else.

Bill Pope & Kelsey Swindle were absolutely amazing. We have 0 complaints. From the moment Bill showed us the spaces and gave us a tour, we both felt strongly we had found our wedding venue home. Bill was Everything, I really want to emphasize that. Very thorough, very friendly, and after the rest of our tours that day of different venues, BILL sold us on paramount. The beautiful spaces helped a bit too, I suppose ;)Bill also handled my many emails and was extremely attention to detail in helping me understand the contract. And I had a lot of questions. Bill was an absolute dream to work with. I attempted to ask him to come to the wedding very early on!And Kelsey, our wedding coordinator, was a serious walking angel on Earth. She also handled my many emails with fantastic response time and handled our vendors by calling them to set up deliveries the day of. I have tears in my eyes writing this because we are SO THRILLED with the level of service Bill & Kelsey provided. Unmatched by anyone else. And we have 4 other venue tours to prove it! :)We used the Copley theater for our ceremony, the atrium for cocktail hour, and the Meyer ballroom for reception. The Copley was really fun and the stagehand Craig helped make the ceremony whimsical with his sound, lighting, and curtain know-how. There's even a backstage area to take fun photos in or get ready in. The atrium sells itself and we were able to print large movie posters to pop into their frames to showcase (we loved this unique addition). The ballroom also sells itself. The long glass windows show the fox river. The wood floors can input a dance floor anywhere in the room that you want.Well done, Kelsey and Bill! It was you two who made our day what it was. The spaces only helped make our photos more beautiful. THANK YOU a million times over. I hope you are booked solid forever because otherwise people are truly missing out on using your spaces as their venue.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Paramount's Grand Gallery! We had our 190 person wedding in August in the Grand Gallery. The venue is absolutely stunning! We were looking for a venue that was different than the standard banquet hall, when we found the Paramount Theater. We were blown away with how beautiful everything turned out. With how stunning the theater is, center pieces and other wedding day decor was a breeze because the venue is so gorgeous on its own. On top of it all, the staff was superb! We worked with Kelsey and she was amazing...organized, friendly, knowledgable and quick to jump in when we needed some support, especially the day of the wedding. (We needed some extra microphones for the ceremony musicians, and Kelsey jumped in to get them set up, without hesitation.) For how stressful wedding planning can be, there was no stress when it came to matters of our venue. We can't even begin to describe how wonderful the staff and venue are. The space comfortably held all of our guests. The dance floor was perfectly centered for everyone to see and get to, even from the second floor. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better! The Paramount was PERFECT!

(We needed some extra microphones for the ceremony musicians, and Kelsey jumped in to get them set up, without hesitation.) For how stressful wedding planning can be, there was no stress when it came to matters of our venue. We can't even begin to describe how wonderful the staff and venue are. The space comfortably held all of our guests. The dance floor was perfectly centered for everyone to see and get to, even from the second floor. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better! The Paramount was PERFECT!

Hello there! First of all I need to start by saying that the venue is beautiful! I had my wedding in the Meyer Ballroom and the view with the river was amazing. The ballroom was big enough to fit my big Mexican family (you need to invite everyone or else they'll be upset with you) and my live band of 10 guys, and my DJ!! Kelsey is amazing, she was so patient with me (and also my mother) and she made everything go so smoothly the day of my wedding that I didn't have a care in the world, I enjoyed 100% of my night. I planned my wedding in two months . . . crazy I know but she was honestly awesome, she answered all of my questions promptly and she even had a brand new chapstick for me on my wedding day!! Jennifer and Bill were also a great help in making my big day be wonderful, since my now husband is in the military he was not here for all the crazy wedding planning (good for him, stressful for me) but they were so great in meeting my needs. This is an amazing place to hold your wedding, the Grand Ballroom is gorgeous as well, but I preferred the view of the river :) Either way, you will not regret choosing this venue. -Again thank you Paramount team for making my day one I will never forget!

I can not say enough great things about having my wedding at The Meyer Ballroom. From booking the venue to the day-of everything was absolutely perfect. The wedding coordinator was always on top of everything, answering all my questions and emails (and there were a lot!) and even giving me advice when I asked for it! The ballroom and atrium were gorgeous and everything I could have ever dreamt I wanted them to be for my big day. The transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception was seamless and perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more stress-free or more perfect experience in a wedding day! We went with Enticing Cuisine for our caterer and the food was delicious and the set-up/dinnerware was perfect. Jason allowed us to have a baked potato bar and it was a hit! The entrees and sides were fabulous and we got so many compliments on the food! Guests keep telling us how wonderful our wedding was and how it was the best they have been too - so thank you to The Meyer Ballroom and staff. My husband and I were able to customize our wedding day by having a popcorn bar during the cocktail hour, a dessert table (prepared by family friends instead of a caterer) and also having a sparkler send off!! The wedding favors were the BEST! All of our guests have enjoyed being able to go to a show at the Paramount. My husband and I loved that the open bar was included in the venue package and our guests also loved the service! I would recommend this venue to anyone for their wedding day! Everything was absolutely PERFECT!

We had such an amazing experience having our wedding and reception at the Paramount Theater. We chose to have the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom and the reception on the theater stage. We couldn't be happier with both location decisions! The Grand Ballroom was such a lovely setting for our ceremony and the Paramount was gracious about allowing decorations and for us to make it our own. The stage was really the best spot for a really fun and lovely reception. It provided a unique atmosphere for us and our 130+ guests. There was plenty of dance floor space even with all of the tables and chairs and the open bar. The open bar was a big success with the guests (believe it or not) and totally worth doing. The venue, with open bar, and an outside caterer and bakery, all fell under our budget. We felt like we got away with something having paid such a reasonable amount for such a fun, beautiful, historic, unique venue. Guests kept asking how we found out about it. The lighting on the stage also happens to be really great for flattering photography. The view from the stage is also quite stunning. If this were in Chicago it would be booked for years and way more expensive!Our Event Coordinator Kelsey made sure everything went smoothly and was so helpful, resourceful, friendly, and even calming. They Paramount even had a pretty little bridal room for me and my bridesmaids. The bridal room was equipped with Champagne, a full length stand-alone mirror, headache medicine, snacks, two free tickets to a show at the Paramount and other very helpful amenities.

I used the Paramount Theatre for my September wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. The Event coordinator made sure everything was taken care of, scheduled meetings around my schedule, walked me through every detail ever time, answered all of my questions and dealt with my crazy wedding mood swings! The Ceremony and Reception were both held in their main lobby, which was very open and next to their newly remodeled bar, which was amazing. I recommend it 100%!

It is a beautiful art deco theatre with all the trimmings- tapestries, chandeliers, and a beautiful dressing room. The staff was wonderful- particularly Jenna, Emily and an amazing security guard who I can't remember her name :(. My sister didn't have a cake box to take her cake home- they found a box; the candy bar didn't have any more bags to save the remaining candy- they found bags. They kept the wedding moving on schedule. They were friendly and courteous. They stayed and helped clean-up and pack-up all items into the appropriate vehicles. They were a joy and a pleasure to work with the day of my sister's wedding. Thank you!!

Jennifer Hahn (Events Director) Jennifer Hahn became part of the Paramount team in 2010. She learned of her passion for event planning when she organized a fundraising event to help her and NIU classmates travel to Guatemala to build a school. Jennifer loves helping couples see their unique wedding day come to life!
