Race Brook Country Club is a country club venue located in Orange, CT. A premier wedding and event destination in Connecticut, it is located just outside New Haven and a short drive from all New York airports. With rolling hills, heavenly gardens, and exclusive amenities, it is a setting for a truly spectacular celebration. Open to members since 1912, the Race Brook Country Club is one of the oldest clubs in the state and has played host to many events celebrating esteemed members over the last century. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering of your closest loved ones or a grand affair with up to 200 guests with a dancefloor, the venue has indoor and outdoor spaces. The 27-hole golf course lends flawlessly tended lawns and breathtaking gardens to a perfect backdrop for a sunset ceremony. Exchange vows under a canopy of trees before following the winding path back to the cozy wrap-around porch. The absolute best place for a wedding. From the beginning Race Brook was the place for us. Erica, the event coordinator, sign, sealed, and delivered! Through the wedding process of planning she was absolutely amazing. She was great on answering any and all questions, she got back to me quickly, and made this planning process easy. The venue was beautiful, the food was out of this world, and all the kitchen/ servers/ bar staff did a phenomenal job. I couldn’t thank them all enough! The day of the wedding was perfect. Being able to utilize the bridal suite and grooms space made the day flow so easily, especially for us ladies doing hair and makeup. Erica truly went ABOVE and BEYOND what she had to do for my husband and myself. Thanks a million!

Race Brook Country Club was great! Erica and the team at the club were so helpful and made our day run extremely smoothly. All staff were professional and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening of our wedding and the entire planning process. We did an ice cream bar and were able to request a specific flavor other than listed in the package. We were also able to bring in our own cookies and brownies baked by family members to make sundaes. We had planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather had different plans. I was originally disappointed in having to switch to an indoor ceremony, but it was beautiful! We were married in front of the fireplace in the reception space. During cocktail hour the space was completely rearranged and you would have never known!The food was delicious as well! From our first tasting, we knew it was going to be amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and happy hour as well. The package we chose was perfect, the open bar and champagne toast were enjoyed by all. Erica was also amazing to work with! She executed my vision for our day perfectly and helped us along every step of the way. I definitely recommend Race Brook Country Club for your wedding!

We had our wedding in September 2023. Everything about the day was PERFECT! Everyone kept complimenting how beautiful the venue was and how delicious all the food was. The wrap around balcony for cocktail hour was the star of the show! Even with the weather being up in the air for rain, Erica the event coordinator worked with us to have a back up plan that we all were comfortable with. She was awesome throughout the whole wedding process. Erica has a great personality and really cares about her couples. Any time I reached out with a question she got right back to me. Another highlight was being able to have the bridal suite and grooms suite all day. My husband loved that and it made it so much easier for our bridal party. HIGHLY recommend having a wedding or shower here, you will not be disappointed!!

Race Brook was such a perfect venue! The grounds here are amazing and the wrap around deck is a life saver!! We had planned to have our ceremony outside by the gazebo, but it ended up raining and we had a cozy ceremony inside by one of the fireplaces which was still amazing. We were still able to get some photos outside on the covered deck and under the gazebo despite not being able to go out and use the other picturesque spots. Erica was very flexible to work with which was a huge selling point for us. They have different add ons to the packages for an extra bar and late night snacks. We were able to get ready in the bridal suite and get to really enjoy the space. The reception room is spacious and looked great at night. The ceilings were high enough for the hora which was a must have. It was great to escape to the covered porch to cool off even with the rain. The food was amazing and was the reason someone recommended this venue to us. I haven’t been to many weddings where they can match the food from the tasting when they are cooking for 140 people! Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking!

We just got married in April of 2023 and it was the best day of our lives. The Racebrook country club provided us with the best venue. The wrap around deck was iconic. The bar service was a huge highlight with our guests they were able to get any drink they wanted. We also were able to have a bar on the outdoor deck. The venue was very spacious. The cocktail food was amazing and the service was outstanding the waiters went around in a timely manner and the food was a good size and fresh. Overall it was just such a seamless and perfect experience and all of that is due to Erika the event coordinator. She is incredibly nice and very informative and truly just wants to make your day stress free. She is incredibly organized and took care of all our needs and made the day run so smoothly. My husband and I highly recommend this venue because it has country club vibes as well and is different from your typical banquet halls. The best day of our lives and we owe it all to Erika and Racebrook country club!!

It was a very beautiful venue with nice areas for pictures. They were professional, well organized, and communicated very well throughout the whole process. Everything was picture perfect and we had a great day. The only complaint we had was the entree took longer than expected to be served to all guest. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding or other event!

We had our wedding at Race Brook and it was everything we could ever dream of! We worked with Erica who is the event coordinator at the club and she is INCREDIBLE! Erica is beyond organized, efficient, kind, super accommodating and a joy to work with when planning your wedding! Denise was also a huge help with room setup on the day of our wedding! We had ZERO problems when it came to planning the wedding and the actual wedding day because of them. A total stress free and FUN wedding! The overall venue is gorgeous, with beautiful views, great tasting food, and is spotless. We cannot say enough good things about Race Brook and the staff! We are forever grateful and thankful! We wish we could relive our wedding over!

We had the best experience having our wedding at RBCC. From the beginning to the end our experience working with the event coordinator Erica was amazing! She was very patient and answered every crazy question we had very promptly. She truly cared about making our day perfect and It meant somuch to us. We found out how amazing the food was at our food tasting and hyped it up to all of our guests and at the wedding they did not disappoint. The food was to die for and everyone raved about it for weeks after. The staff was on point, very friendly, and got all of our guests served promptly.The grounds at RBCC are beautiful and the back drop was stunning for our wedding pictures and video. Words cannot express the amount of professionalism and perfection that Racebrook Country Club provided to our beautiful wedding ceremony. Especially during this crazy time they worked with us through every change and challenge we were given in regards to location and CDC guidelines. The menu, chef's presentation, and the delicious food have been raved about weeks to follow. The service was amazing and their event coordinator Ariel was absolutely fantastic to work with!! We had our small 10 person wedding ceremony at Race Brook on June 27, 2020 and it was perfect! Race Brook was so accommodating with all of the last minute changes due to the pandemic and state requirements and we had the perfect day. We can't wait to have our big reception there next year!

Just had my daughter's bridal shower here and it was AMAZING! The food was delicious...the service better than wonderful...and Robin is just the best person ever to help to organize the plan your event. I'm the Mother of the Bride and live in southern California, the bride lives in Boston where most of her friends live, the groom's mom is also in the Boston area, and most of the family lives in Connecticut, so this was a perfect middle location! And the venue itself is beautiful, very warm and personal (and clean ;)

Just had my daughter's bridal shower here and it was AMAZING! The food was delicious...the service better than wonderful...and Robin is just the best person ever to help to organize the plan your event. I had my wedding here in September. This was amazing, both the staff and the facilities were perfect. The back porch provides for an amazing cocktail hour, and fantastic photos! I strongly recommend looking at this location if you'd like a private wedding, with well trained staff in a beautiful CT location!

Could not be more happy with the location of our wedding. The staff and coordinator were top notch and exceptional at their job. Country Club was very inviting as some are snobby and uninviting. this wasnt the case at racebrook. members were friendly. grounds were beautiful and food was the best wedding food i ever ate.
