Wedding resort in the heart of Texas
Located at the end of a secluded country road our working ranch host’s one-of-a-kind destination wedding weekends. On one hundred and forty acres of ponds, forest, pastures and vista provide almost limitless opportunities for your rehearsal dinner, breathtaking ceremonies, festive receptions and intimate brunches. The Rockin’ Star Ranch weddings are designed to avoid the stress associated with metropolitan venues and destination wedding arrangements in tourist hubs. We have 10 luxury cabins so the whole wedding party can stay on site and really enjoy the weekend! Our staff can create a personalized itinerary brimming with signature style, family gatherings and gourmet dining experiences. Our grand ballroom is set against wildflower fields and big Texas sky grandeur serves as a vivid contrast to the refinement of your event and ensures awe-inspiring photography. The result is a destination event designed to be the perfect mix of intimacy and camaraderie—a joining of two families over a three-day adventure. Our property includes a few hosts onsite that are all family and PASSIONATE about this ranch, all that it offers, and ultimately, its’ success. Because of this, we believe we offer a all hands on deck, immersive informative, and inclusive experience from our hosts’ and hostess’. From full property tours, hayrides and cookouts, unique viewings of our working ranch and everything that a “day at the ranch” entails, interactive one on one with our animals, sunset rides and nighttime fire pit chats with s’mores- we really believe in our place and it’s offerings of a true utopia

From the first time my fiance and I went out to the Rockin' Star Ranch for a birthday getaway weekend, we knew it was going to be the place where we would be married. Sure enough, we had the most amazingly beautiful and magical wedding this past weekend out at the ranch! We had a last minute weather change that moved us indoors for the ceremony but Darrell and Gail were on top of it. The ceremony inside was setup in front of the beautiful large fireplace, which we were able to decorate to our liking, and was lit for an extra touch of romance. After the ceremony, the chairs were quickly removed and our dance floor was ready! The other end of the reception hall, with the amazing bar, was setup with dinner tables, food and cake. The antique carts and whisky barrel tables added such a unique touch when it came to displaying our wedding cake and charcuterie boards. The reception hall truly lends itself to ANY type of setup you desire. And, honestly, the ranch style decor and adjustable lighting is perfect for any occasion without adding a single thing. The kitchen is huge, with multiple refrigerators and freezers, as well as easy access to a vast open area outside for grilling or smoking meat. There are a ton of places on the ranch to hold your ceremony and even more areas to celebrate afterwards. There are unique experiences available to add to your wedding as well, like riding in on horseback to your ceremony! And I can't even begin to tell you how many hundreds of photo opportunities there are out on the Rockin' Star Ranch! You could spend an entire day and never take a picture in the same spot!! Darrell is the most accommodating host who really is passionate about his property and making sure you have the wedding experience that dreams are made of. Rockin' Star Ranch was a beautiful place to visit 4 years ago, and now, after being married there, it holds a special place in our hearts. We already have plans to make it our regular anniversary getaway each year. The amount of work that Darrell and his family put into the Rockin' Star is definitely a labor of love and I am very thankful that he and his family share their amazing ranch with people like me and my new husband so that we, too, can make magical memories that will last a lifetime. ♥️ Our wedding was perfect and I can't imagine saying \"I do\" any other place!

We had the perfect wedding at the Rockin Star Ranch. The staff and management were easy to work with. The venue was perfect for a weekend with our friends and family. We filled every room on site and our guests loved the accommodations and activities offered on the ranch especially the horse riding and the pool. At the reception we enjoyed all the extra pieces and decorations that were already on site. They fit perfectly with our decorations. Guests that stayed in surrounding accommodations loved the easy access to the quaint downtown of Brenham. Friday night we utilized the Barn for a barn dance. It was such an extra treat. The set up along with the lightening in the barn set the stage for a great celebration!! We are still all asking when can we go back! Rockin’ Star Ranch was everything we wanted! I stayed at The Ranch for my best friend's wedding and we had a magical time. As the Maid of Honor I had a heavy hand in the planning of our weekend. Working with Darrel to coordinate our vision was a pleasure. He's quick to reply and went the extra mile to accommodate any requests we had. He also suggested skeet shooting and horseback riding for the groom and all of his guys. They LOVED it! We rented the entire property which was ideal in keeping the bridal party together, especially because some of us traveled a long distance. We spent plenty of time poolside and even more time cooking together in the Main Residence's kitchen, which is fully equipped and beautiful, by the way. We all loved the different themed cabins, it's a cute touch. Of course we went wild over feeding baby goats and taking pictures with the horses. Major bonus in having the wedding venue so close to our cabins. With the bridal suite a walk away there was no mad dash to get to a salon the morning of the wedding. Everyone came to us. We're already in talks about having a reunion back at Rockin’ Star. We just loved it and can't wait to visit again! Thank you, from ALL of us!

I had the pleasure of reserving the ROCKIN STAR RANCH in my hometown of Brenham Texas on June 10, 2023. I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the friendly staff. The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a charming and romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the occasion.The amenities and services provided were truly exceptional. There were plenty of helpful staff members available throughout the event, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. From assisting with seating arrangements to providing a helpful hand a small forgotten details. In addition to having the perfect wedding day we were able to have a fantastic rehearsal dinner night. The staff set up additional table and chairs at the outside pool area. Guests were able to swim, fish and canoe. Everyone was highly impressed with this hidden gem. The venue also provided linens and other assorted decor at no extra cost. The package included bartenders who showed great knowledge and skills. Overall, I cannot praise the Rockin Star Ranch enough. Every aspect was well-planned, executed flawlessly, and delivered an unforgettable experience. The venue, the staff, the food, and the entertainment all exceeded my expectations and made it a truly magical event. I highly recommend Rockin Star Ranch to anyone looking to have a truly beautiful and amazing wedding day.

Rockin Star Ranch did a phenomenal job for our wedding! The ranch has a lot to offer, 2 areas to choose from for your wedding ceremony and a beautiful venue for the reception. Not to mention the owners Gail and Daryl are the absolute best! We had to change the location of our wedding very last minute and they not only were able to accommodate us on such short notice but also had all of the tables, wedding sign, chairs, linens, anything you could possibly need. Gail went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day! Also, just about everything at the ranch is hand crafted and designed by Daryl. Its pretty neat! The ranch has plenty of cabins for guest and each room has its own theme. Wait till you see! I could go on and on! Rockin star ranch is truly an amazing venue with the kindest owners. If you’re looking for a venue out in the country seriously look no further!

Absolutely stunning wedding venue, with accommodations on site! The Rockin’ Star Ranch crew really know how to handle a wedding weekend from start to finish. This beautiful ranch in the heart of Texas truly exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The cabins were perfectly clean and well decorated, with all amenities available. The property itself is a little glimpse of heaven. Animals are roaming the pastures to greet you on your morning strolls. Rocking chairs on the patios to enjoy your coffee and take a deep breath in. Communication with the main host Darrell was prompt. He was so helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back for another visit!

Our entire time at the ranch was incredible, and we could not have pictured a better place to have our wedding. They had everything we needed and more! We rented the property for the whole weekend, so we were able to hold the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there and stay in the cabins, which were right across from the reception hall (super convenient!) with the bridal party, parents, and grandparents. The cabins are really the cutest and each have their own country-style theme — they would be great for photos! There is also a gorgeous bridal suite, which was a great space for getting ready and taking bridesmaid pictures. The reception hall itself is spacious, clean, and really beautiful. A few of our favorite things about it were the plentiful seating areas (inside and out!), the large granite bar, and the big majestic fireplace (the focal point of our ceremony!).In terms of style, we wanted rustic yet elegant, and that was what we got! We went outside for the majority of our pictures and got some in front of the venue, some with the horses in the pasture, and then drove out into one of the fields for the rest. We had also taken our engagement shoot at the venue in some additional spots at the ranch, and all of those turned out incredible too. It’s a big place, so there are lots of options for photos!And we couldn’t have asked for a better staff! Darrell is so talented at running a working ranch/wedding venue/vacation destination and is continuously adding to all the different corners of the ranch. Even since our wedding, we’ve been back to visit and saw updates to the bridal suite, a large, new pergola-style outdoor ceremony site, freshly decorated cabins, and more. We’re super excited to see what he comes up with in the future! Elaine and Gail were also a great help in planning out our day and making sure it all ran smoothly. We’ll definitely be recommending Rockin’ Star to all the soon-to-be husbands and wives we know!

Every aspect of this ranch was perfect for our vision of an elegant, western wedding.Great intimate location (but easily accessible), lots of parking, amazing indoor event venue, and also so many beautiful outdoor areas for ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and pictures. Plan your wedding exactly how you want-The options at this ranch are endless!!The rustic cabins were perfect for our wedding party/out of town guests. The enjoyed relaxing at the pool and in the outdoor kitchen, seeing all the animals, and exploring the ranch before the big day. We received GREAT feedback from everyone who stayed. Also very clean and well kept. Darrel (the owner) and his family were extremely accommodating and helpful. True southern hospitality-They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and right at home. We chose Rockin’ Star Ranch as our venue for a number of reasons but I’ll get to that later. The big selling point for us was that they had enough lodging for our immediate family and wedding party, that was included in the rental price. Not like your average hotel rooms, but extremely nice, clean, private cabins and rooms. Other reasons we chose them are as follows:✅They allow you to have the venue from Friday morning to Sunday at noon so we had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there. We visited about a month before to make final decisions on how we wanted the layout. I was also able to coordinate and take my bridals on site a few months before the wedding. ✅There’s several different places to set your ceremony up. Indoor or outdoor options available. We chose their newest outdoor area which turned out amazing in pictures! ✅The ballroom is beautiful. The entire property is. From the grounds to finishes to lighting to the wine barrels with wood toppers you’re welcomed to use. ✅They provided a list of recommended vendors but you can use other people who aren’t on that list, if you want.✅Elaine, Gail, and Darrell are so sweet. They will answer any questions you have and help you with whatever you need from the time you book until the end of your wedding weekend. ✅The kitchen allows you to keep whatever food or drink you may need for the weekend right there. Bring it in on Friday and you never have to leave the venue. So easy. ✅They have various pieces of decor you’re welcome to use. ❌ The only complaint I had from people was regarding the bathroom in the ballroom. When you go in, on the left are several sinks, on the right are 3 separate enclosed stalls, and then straight ahead is another bathroom with its own toilet and sink. There’s no designated guys or girls stalls, but for me personally that wasn’t a big deal. I don’t see there being any way to create a totally separate restroom so that’s just personal preference. All in all, if you’re looking for an amazing venue, this is it. You can celebrate all weekend long and never have to leave the property! Everyone who stayed on site commented on how incredible the bed sheets were and I’d have to agree with them. Rockin’ Star Ranch is one of a kind and if I had to do it all over again, I’d still choose them without a doubt! Thank y’all so much for making our wedding weekend perfect!

If you’re looking for a destination wedding but don’t want to travel too far from Houston, I highly recommend taking a look at this jewel in Brenham.

We did the wedding weekend package so we had the whole ranch the entire weekend. Elaine actually let us go in and put some stuff in the venue on Thursday instead of waiting for Friday. The whole experience was amazing, getting to have the entire wedding party at the venue all weekend was one of the best parts of the wedding. Also, getting to go in on Friday and set up so that Saturday was minimal work helped tremendously. We planned and did everything for the wedding on our own so the extra days was amazing. The venue is gorgeous and if you need anything moved or changed then Elaine and Darrel are very accommodating.

My daughter and her fiancé booked this venue for their recent nuptials February 11, 2021. It was a small intimate ceremony. Whether your ceremony is like ours small and intimate or a large event with hundreds of people. They can accommodate you and take care of your needs. Since we live in Houston we also booked several of the cabins so that we could enjoy the wedding & stay the night instead of driving back home. Good thing too given the snow/ice storm of the century was about to rain down on us. First of all, let me tell you the venue is absolutely beautiful. The photos online do not do it justice. Elaine catered to us the entire day making sure that we had everything we needed. She was amazing and felt like she was part of the family by the time we left. One of the cabins that I had reserved online was actually a bit small for our needs so Elaine called Darrell right away and they upgraded us to another cabin. Darrell was amazing in trying to book the cabins and helped us get everything squared away. He answered questions and helped through the entire process. The cabins were top notch and very clean and well taken care of. Since it was pretty much freezing during our stay, they had the heaters turned on and we were warm and cozy. The wind was howling. While we didn't get to see much of the outside property due to the inclement weather, we did get to go visit the new baby pigs and goats in the barn, along with the horses and the deer. The kids enjoyed every minute of that. We all loved it so much that we plan on making another trip in the spring or early summer to spend time together and hang out and enjoy the property and possibly do a trail ride. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property and the people that run it. They are phenomenal. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to get the pictures back.

Elaine catered to us the entire day making sure that we had everything we needed. She was amazing and felt like she was part of the family by the time we left. One of the cabins that I had reserved online was actually a bit small for our needs so Elaine called Darrell right away and they upgraded us to another cabin. Darrell was amazing in trying to book the cabins and helped us get everything squared away. He answered questions and helped through the entire process. The cabins were top notch and very clean and well taken care of. Since it was pretty much freezing during our stay, they had the heaters turned on and we were warm and cozy. The wind was howling. While we didn't get to see much of the outside property due to the inclement weather, we did get to go visit the new baby pigs and goats in the barn, along with the horses and the deer. The kids enjoyed every minute of that. We all loved it so much that we plan on making another trip in the spring or early summer to spend time together and hang out and enjoy the property and possibly do a trail ride. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property and the people that run it. They are phenomenal. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to get the pictures back.

2020 was a rough year. Planning a wedding wasn't easy. Social distancing and all. However, we took a tour of Rockin' Star Ranch, and we fell in love all over again, only this time with the Ranch. It was perfect. We wanted a small intimate location where an outdoor wedding was possible, but needed to be sure they also had an indoor venue in case the weather decided to be all \"2020\". We planned on having our guests stay on the property as well, so that no one would have to worry about being late, or how long they'd stay for the reception. Rockin' Star Ranch had the perfect solution. CABINS! 8 cabins in total. All super spacious, and each one uniquely decorated. We decided to rent the entire ranch so that we could all enjoy the weekend, and all they had to offer. The \"Event Center\" which is the indoor venue was absolutely stunning. From the high ceilings, gorgeous bathrooms, a cooks dream kitchen, bar and the gorgeously decorated Bridal Suite. The Bridal Suite is what every bride needs. It's just what I needed. A wonderful place to rest and dream of my magical day and wonderfully blessed future. The bathroom has a claw foot tub (photo-op), and an area to do makeup and change. Fortunately, we were able to have my dream outdoor wedding, the weather was perfect. The entire Ranch had endless Photo-op's. It's a working ranch so our guests had a great time seeing all the animals, and interacting with the staff who were so very helpful, and did everything possible to make sure our weekend was one to remember. From start to finish they treated us like family, and we are forever grateful that they helped make our wedding memorable.

I was originally booked with Lillian Farms but cancelled as I was disappointed with how it was managed and vendors were unwilling to work with them. I have yet to find a single vendor who doesnt absolutely adore working with Darrell and Elaine at Rockin Star Ranch. They treat you like family! If you're on the fence about booking your next wedding venue or even just a place to stay- THIS IS THE PLACE. I 100% recommend them.

Beautiful venue for my May 2016 wedding. Ballroom is phenomenal, as are the grounds and suites. We rented the ballroom for a Sunday wedding, and rented out 5 cabins for the weekend for the wedding party. Absolutely fantastic. Outdoor kitchen and pool if you rent the cabins. Elaine is wonderful and helpful. High class venue with rustic charm.

We had our wedding at Rockin Star this past June and it was amazing! The venue has cabins for all of your out of town guests to stay at and a great pool and outdoor kitchen for them to enjoy while they are there for the weekend. The bridal suite has a great set up for the bride and bridesmaids. There was plenty of room for my hairstylist and makeup artist to work on all of the girls, and the beds and chairs in the suite were extremely comfortable to relax on. I highly recommend this venue to anyone in the area who is looking for their dream wedding venue!

We had our wedding at Rockin Star this past June and it was amazing! The venue has cabins for all of your out of town guests to stay at and a great pool and outdoor kitchen for them to enjoy while they are there for the weekend. The bridal suite has a great set up for the bride and bridesmaids. There was plenty of room for my hairstylist and makeup artist to work on all of the girls, and the beds and chairs in the suite were extremely comfortable to relax on. I highly recommend this venue to anyone in the area who is looking for their dream wedding venue!
