St. Paul Event Center is a new wedding venue located in the heart of downtown St. Paul, MN. The venue features an open-plan concept, modern amenities, upscale décor, and unparalleled views of the Twin Cities skyline. Situated in the historic Dayton building, the space blends accents of retro with state-of-the-art facilities to create a charming and contemporary atmosphere. Host your wedding in this breathtaking location to experience the best of St. Paul’s vibrant nightlife in an effortlessly functional space. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the city and allow in plenty of natural light during the day. At night, the lights glitter below as guests watch the sun dip below the horizon. This design will make you feel right at home in an art gallery and lends an air of sophistication to any gathering. The expansive hall holds up to 400 guests seated and 680 standing and can be fully customized to your needs and preferences. Popular floor plans include a banquet setup or a ceremony spot accompanied by cocktail tables, round tables, and a dance floor. The rental of the St. Paul Event Center comes with the essential inventory needed, convenient parking, and professional and friendly event staff. Mood lighting and AV are equipped throughout the space and can be tailored to fit your wedding color scheme and entertainment needs. The on-site suite features a stylist station and is available for you and your wedding party to relax and prepare together. With an assortment of over 15 preferred caterers, the lineup ensures a perfect match for any cuisine and budget. All your alcohol options are supplied by the venue. The staff will set up and serve full-service bars throughout the center to offer refreshing drinks for you and your guests. Recommendations are on-hand for any other vendors but you also have the ability to choose your own. In-house coordinators will help you coordinate venue and vendor details and an event manager will be on hand on the big day to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

The St. Paul Event Center is such a unique and gorgeous venue for a wedding. It is very helpful that alcohol is provided in house with different tiered options. You pay per hour per person so you know what the final cost will be before the wedding. The space is decorated beautifully on its own and has very cool sound and lighting. Nicole and Matthew were very easy to work with, communicative, and professional! They answered quickly and would provide advice on vendors or floor set up to have the best experience. You can fit a large dance floor which is so fun! We had 50+ people dancing at all times. They have a lockable room which is very nice to store items as well as to take a breather during the wedding. Nicole and Matthew went out of their way to make our perfect day happen! They coordinate with vendors on arrival etc so you do not have to. I highly recommend the St. Paul Event Center for weddings or any event.

We had our wedding here on June 17 with about 210 guests. We chose SPEC because they offer a huge space perfect for large guest counts, let you choose your own caterer and the price is right! The bar through the venue was great as well! Matthew and Nicole were great to work with. We had guidance through the process, many, many e-mails, in-person meetings and check-ins and I felt comfortable every step of the way. On the day of, everything was flawless and Nicole was there the whole time so I knew we were in good hands. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and the look and styling we added to it. The floorplan was meticulously chosen for us and was perfect. Parking was easy as they offer a lot so guests aren’t looking for spots. Very happy! Will add professional photos when we get them.

We used the St. Paul Event Center for our ceremony and reception. Nicole and the staff were FABULOUS. So many guest commented on how beautiful the venue was (we used limited decorations because the windows gave all the decoration needed). The venue itself is very large, there’s a nice seating lounge if people decide not to dance. Nicole answered my 100000 questions the week before the wedding and everything went without any issues. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for a city wedding!

We utilized the St. Paul Event Center for our Wedding of about 200 people. From the moment we toured and met the staff (Matthew, Megan and Nicole), we knew we had found our perfect venue. They were up front about expectations and costs, as well as helpful and communicative throughout our entire wedding process, not just in regards to the venue, recommending other vendors that matched our desires and budget. Our guests were very complimentary of the venue's esthetics (the lighting and sound systems were fantastic) and the responsiveness of the staff (security & bar). We highly recommend this venue and staff for any event!

PLZ PLZ PLZ read my whole review!! I will save you from looking anywhere else!!!!! This BRAND NEW space is phenomenal. Amazing location, Dream Team Staff, AND did I mention, it's all within our \"humble\" budget! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the St. Paul Event Center! I am in AWE of how much attentiveness and personalization they have put into us as clients! It has been an absolute dream to work with Cassie! She has made this stressful process so much easier and without any pressure! My fiance and I are a long distance couple and she has made our wedding planning experience so much easier, stress-free and honestly beautiful! She's willing to create our perfect day and work within our tight budget, everything is transparent, straight-forward and professional! The space at the St Paul Event Center is GORGEOUS! It's honestly the perfect melody of modern architecture and intimate gathering place. I JUST LOVEEE IT! It's a perfect backdrop for WHATEVER wedding theme you're going for. (We're having a modern bohemian aesthetic) The venue holds up to 450 seated guests which is perfect for our wedding. We LOVE the amenities that come with the venue: Hi-tech Sound System (were saving money on our dj bc they wont have to bring their own equipment, all they need is their computer), the down lights on each pillar create an intimate ambience AND the lounge furniture, waterfall table with stools and perfectly placed statement pieces all come with the venue so we didn't even need to rent anything extra! The floor to ceiling windows are my favorite! They look over DT St. Paul and it feels like the city is a part of your special day. The windows open up and you can look out into Nicollet Mall! (That's where we will do our sparkler send off!! All those who'd rather stay inside but see us off can watch from there)I honestly don't know why this place isn't on the map yet...oh yea because its BRAND NEW!! SOOOO if I were ya'll I would jump on this before the venue prices skyrockets in the next year!I cannot wait for my wedding next year! I know it will be my dream wedding BECAUSE Cassie and SPEC has had their part in it!
