Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens is a wedding venue located in Village of Intercourse, PA. Dating back to the 1700s, the land was purchased by homesteaders so that they could farm and raise their families. To honor your love story, Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens consists of multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces for you to celebrate within. Showcasing beautiful craftsmanship, the Tobacco Barn offers a rustic ambience for ceremonies. As you and your partner exchange vows, you will be surrounded by white beams and wood paneling accented by original hardware. Prior to the ceremony, you and your partner are invited to prepare and relax in separate get-ready rooms. After saying “I do,” you can dine and dance with loved ones in the Grand Barn. Featuring 3,600 square feet of event space and soaring rafters, it seamlessly blends rustic and elegant details. Sparkling chandeliers and ivory-colored drapery create a romantic backdrop for any occasion. If you’d like your celebration to be immersed in the venue’s lush greenery and blossoming flowers, you are welcome to use the Wedding Gardens. Adjacent to the Tobacco Barn, the spacious, private outdoor area can be used for cocktail hour. After dining, the lounge and courtyard can be used for lawn games, food trucks, photo booths, and a wood-burning fire. The five acre property is yours to enjoy and you are welcome to share your day with up to 160 guests. The dedicated team at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens strives to create a smooth, stress-free experience for each couple they work with. To support you in the months leading up to your event and the day of, they offer an array of packages and on-site services. On wedding day consultant and co-owner Dawn Waltman is available to oversee the details and timelines. A wide variety of items from the Prop Shop can be added to match the aesthetic of the barns. To streamline your planning process, the venue offers a list of recommended vendors and additional services for you to consider. These include fun options such as a vintage photo booth camper, an icicle bicycle cart, a s’more bar, and a dog-sitting service.

I don’t even know where to begin with how incredible this venue is. Dawn and Brian are absolutely amazing and have such a great team here at the Homestead. You can tell how much they genuinely care about their couples and how family-oriented they are! From our first visit to the venue, we felt so comfortable here and so excited for our wedding. They have also built the ultimate preferred vendor team that works together so well and makes the day run incredibly smoothly. You can feel the love as everyone we talked to about the Homestead is so excited to be a part of any Homestead wedding day! The staff went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure our day was amazing. Dawn and Brian both worked tirelessly to help us carry out our vision for our wedding day putting in many hours answering all our questions and making sure we felt prepared and excited. Everything was perfect for us thanks to both of them, the rest of the team, and our amazing Stoltzfus coordinator, Ginger! We had such a beautiful and stress-free day! Our guests raved about the gorgeous venue and how they had the best time exploring the property and being able to enjoy the lawn as well as both beautiful barns and everything in-between. My husband and I were married here on June 17th. If you are considering booking Stoltzfus for your wedding, you will 100% not regret it. When I tell you everything was absolutely perfect, I mean it. From the day we booked our wedding date, Brian and Dawn (the owners) were so helpful, kind, and welcoming. Guests have been raving about how amazing everything was. The property is beautiful. There are so many little spaces for guests to mingle, play games, and enjoy their time during the reception. If you do choose to go with Stoltzfus, you will enjoy every minute of your wedding day and have absolutely no worries at all. I wish I can go back and relive our perfect day, all because of the amazing staff at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens!!

I really can not say enough about this venue, the thoughtful & amazing owners & the homestead staff. The entire experience was nothing short of what every bride should experience while planning their wedding. All my endless questions/ emails/concerns addressed immediately, the many helpful & extremely informative tips&emails from the owners throughout the planning, and the amazing wedding coordinator they pair you with. Every person who works at this venue goes above & beyond, but especially the owners & coordinator. There was a mix up with our cake vendor, and we were left with NO CAKE on our wedding day. Before I was even informed of this hiccup, the owner Brian went out to the grocery store and bought a little birthday cake for us. Our coordinator took off all of the confetti and made it a beautiful white \"sweetheart\" cake to make sure we at least had something to cut. That is the definition of going above & beyond for one of their couples & shows truly how genuine they are. This is such a beautiful venue with many new additions being added throughout the years! The bridal suite is also an absolute dream. I had the best time getting ready with my girls in it. My husband and I are so grateful we had our wedding here & even more grateful for the relationships we've gained because of it! Brian, Dawn, Chela especially, we love you guys so much & will always remember your kindness ♡

My husband and I had our wedding at Stoltzfus about 2 weeks ago and it was truly the best day of my life. I will recommend Stoltzfus Homestead again and again to anyone getting married. Every guest that I talked to said that this was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to. The cigar and whiskey bar was a huge hit along with the icicle bicycle, fire pit, and everything else that this venue provided. The venue makes everything so easy from having preferred vendors to choose from to an entire array of items to pick from in their prop shop. The prop shop included so many unique items and it saved on the hassle of the wedding party worrying about transporting decorations because Stoltzfus provided set up and tear down of any items rented through them. Dawn, Brian, and their team were so attentive and detail oriented. Dawn and Brian were also present through the entire day so if I ever needed anything, they were there to help.

We had our wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead in April of this year. We had found and toured a few other venues in the area and this was our first venue tour during the process. I think we knew this would be the one but we continued to look at other options. Brian had given us a tour and there was something calm and reassuring about his demeanor which made two very anxious people, comfortable. After touring three other venues, it was obvious that Stoltzfus was unlike any other. Not only is the venue affordable, but we loved the beautiful indoor options. After making our decision, then came the planning process. As the first child in my family getting married, I did not know what to expect. Dawn and Brian helped to solidify and bring all areas of our day together. We wanted a venue that is organized, enjoys the vendors that it works with, and helps to relieve major stress surrounding the big day. Stoltzfus did all that. Their prop shop had all the decorations that we needed and for a good price. They have certain vendors that they suggest you choose from and I was SO thankful for that. The process with florals, the DJ, food, photography, and our wedding coordinator (love Chela) came together flawlessly. Then came our wedding day. Torrential downpour with wind all day. Stoltzfus Homestead went above and beyond for us with umbrellas, towels, lots of planning ahead with canopies/coverings, etc etc. I never thought I would say that a wedding day full of rain would be a good day, but I was wrong. It was a PERFECT day. I will forever be grateful to how hard the staff at Stoltzfus Homestead worked to keep the day amazing, focused on us, and positive for all involved. Brian and Dawn even offered us to come back for a campfire and drinks since we had day full of bad weather. The kindest people. Stoltzfus Homestead thank you so much for everything, we are eternally grateful!

When searching for our wedding venue- we reviewed and saw many sites -we wanted a venue that felt like lancaster but was also modern- Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was that and SO much more. In the end we felt like we were part of the family. There is history on site with the tobacco barn and grand barn while also being updated and always adding something special like the secret garden where we had our first look. Dawn, one of the co owners- is personable and detailed, your wedding will go off without a hitch. When booking you have to choose one of their DJs and Caterers from their preferred vendor list-this is so helpful because it narrows down from the abundance of vendors out there while also allowing you the freedom to choose what you want to spend. closer to the wedding we worked more with Brian and Matt-they are some of the hardest workers I know-ensuring your day goes as you wish and keeping the property trim and clean. I could say so much about this venue, it truly was the perfect day and one we will reflect on for the rest of our lives. We wish we could relive our day-but writing these reviews and trips back to the site will have to do! -Allie, Logan and Parker

Our wedding in May at Stoltzfus Homestead was amazing! Everything ran smoothly and the venue was extremely clean and well taken care of. Brian, Dawn, and Ginger helped us out along the way to make everything as easy as possible. The only complaint we had was that our wedding night ended!

This place is amazing. Not only is the venue gorgeous but the owners/workers are amazing. They have everything outlined and makes it feel like big parts to plan are a breeze to do. They go above and beyond for their couples. The day of coordinator we had was Ginger and she is amazing, she keeps you smiling the whole day. We are so blessed to have found this place and to be able to call it were we became husband and wife.

This was the first venue my husband and I looked at and instantly fell in love! Our wedding was everything I could have imagined and more. Dawn and Brian were incredible to work with and very personable. Chela was our coordinator for the day and let me tell you that woman knew what i needed before I even knew I needed it. They also have so many props you can rent through them that give your wedding the perfect rustic touch. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here it was seriously the most perfect day and there are so many beautiful places to take pictures!

This was the first venue my husband and I looked at and instantly fell in love! Our wedding was everything I could have imagined and more. Dawn and Brian were incredible to work with and very personable. Chela was our coordinator for the day and let me tell you that woman knew what i needed before I even knew I needed it. They also have so many props you can rent through them that give your wedding the perfect rustic touch. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here it was seriously the most perfect day and there are so many beautiful places to take pictures!

I’m so glad we decided to book with Stoltzfus and had the most magical wedding in May of 2022. The preferred vendor list/open house/list of items to rent made the wedding planning process so much easier. The vendors we selected lived up to our expectations and outdid themselves. Dawn, Brian and Ginger were so friendly and very organized which helped the wedding day run smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, we were able to enjoy ourselves the entire day! It was truly the most magical day and I reminisce our wedding everyday. I keep telling my husband “let’s get married again”!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Our wedding exceeded all expectations! Dawn and Brian truly care our their venue and their couples. They truly want everyone to have a perfect and easy day! They are continually working to better than space and provide all the amenities guest could imagine. Chela was our wedding coordinator and she ensured that everything ran as smooth as could be. She was working diligently to ensure every detail was perfect all while making sure my husband and I were completely taken care of! All 3 of these people and their staff should be proud of the incredible work they do!

Dawn made every step easy, and kept me calm throughout the rocky process of trying to plan an international wedding during a worldwide pandemic. The venue is stunning by itself, and the caring staff put it over the top. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Book them now!

My husband and I loved this venue! They were extremely helpful in finding/recommending other vendors such as catering/photography/hair/etc. which were all wonderful. The venue itself was beautiful from the ceremony tobacco barn to the reception grand barn and everything in between. We loved working with Dawn, Brian, and our wedding coordinator who was from the venue as well. They made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and totally at home. We didn’t feel like planning a wedding was that hard at all (and we didn’t have a huge budget) so that really says something about how much help they were. They accommodated all of our needs and we couldn’t be happier with our choice (and each other).

My husband and I loved this venue! They were extremely helpful in finding/recommending other vendors such as catering/photography/hair/etc. which were all wonderful. Where do you even begin when everything you ever wanted your wedding to be happened just the way you imagined! We knew once we stepped foot on the property that this is where envisioned our special day taking place. There are so many beautiful places for pictures and for our videographer to capture.The venue offered many places for our guests to hang out and lounge, not only during cocktail hour but during the reception as well. Dawn and Brian are so knowledgeable in their venue and in weddings that they were such a huge asset for us when planning our special day! I was able to email or call Dawn with any questions I had during the planning process. They even allowed us to have Alpacas (my absolute favorite animal) at our cocktail hour as it was a gift from my mother! They allowed us to come visit the venue so our families and bridal party could get a feel for the planning our wedding day details. Dawns helpful emails about vendors, prop offerings from the venue, and everything in between out my mind at ease about planning our wedding. They covered every little detail, and made sure our day would be as we wanted it. Chela our coordinator was a delight and made every little detail come to life and words cant even begin to express what all she and the staff did to make our day wonderful. Even when our cake decided to melt, Chela pulled off some baking magic and allowed us our cake cutting without a hitch. I could honestly go on an on but because of all the staff and their hard work our day will be something we never forget! If you decide to use them as your venue you will NOT be disappointed!

Where do I begin.....my daughter knew Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was the place she wanted to be married the second she stepped foot on the property. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, full of color and texture, just stunning. The two restored barns for the ceremony and reception are breathtaking. The wedding just took place this past Saturday and I could not wait to share my review. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, DO IT!! Their team is so professional and knowledgeable and everything happens without a hitch, they have their system down! I want to mention in particular Dawn who was so helpful along the 2 year planning process. Brian who was just calm and amazing the day off for both property and bartending. Chela who was our day of coordinator, don't know what we would have done without her and her pleasant and calm demeanor and her ability to keep everyone straight and on the timeline. I have control issues, LOL, but, didn't even think twice once explaining my daughter's vision for her decor and then handing off our decor. I couldn't wait to see how they utilized it and decorated everything and boy, it did not disappoint. All of our guests commented about how stunning everything was. As I danced away on the dancefloor, I looked at the tables and not one single person was still at their table, they were dancing, playing lawn games, walking the beautiful property or relaxing around the fire. That is the sign of a GREAT reception. I will end with saying that the entire day from start to finish was stress free, perfect in every way and truly magical.

My husband and I got married at Stolfuz in August of '21. We wanted a laid back barn theme rustic wedding and the homestead exceeded our expectations. Since the day we saw it we knew it was the one. Our main want for the wedding was having our dogs apart of it. We loved that they offered this. We also loved the yard games our guest could play. You know Monica from the TV show Friends? Well, that was me as a bride. I had binders, spread sheets, sticky notes, labels, everything. But Stoltzfus, Dawn and then entire staff helped me relax on my big day. I and my husband are from NJ and traveled to Stolzfus in February 2019 in the dead on winter. The grass wasn't green, the flowers were not bright in color, there was no decor set up from a prior wedding, and yet, we fell in love with the venue. The 2 hour drive home, all we talked about was how stunning it was and how simple but beautiful each building was. Throughout the 3 years of planning, I emailed Dawn every little question I had and she was quick to respond with her best suggestion. I enjoyed visited each years open house. As there are many parts i appreciated, i really appreciated how Stoltzfus suggested or required other vendors such as flowers, food, hotels. It took the stress away of finding someone. It brought ease knowing we were hiring someone who has worked with Stoltzfus and knew the staff and lay of the land. We knew we wanted a barn wedding and Stoltzfus just amazed us. You would never know there was a housing community right behind the venue. I can not rave enough about the staff. All of our guest commented how beautiful the land was, how we were able to enjoy an indoor/outside wedding, how all the staff were so nice and accommodating, and our favorite part, we were able to have our fur baby apart of our special day. If there were any issues on our wedding day, we had no clue and tat is all due to the staff working their magic. I wish everyday was our wedding day so we can just visit the venue. We can never thank the Homestead enough for allowing us to start our life together at their amazing venue!!

When we first started looking for a venue we said we did not want a Lancaster barn wedding, but when we toured the homestead we realized it was so much more than that... From the rustic, simple charm of the Tobacco Barn where our ceremony was held to the stunning Grand Barn that blew our guests away... we knew this venue was the one! The staff was so helpful! Courtney was AMAZING, she took care of everything the day of!! Brian and Dawn were so helpful with the planning process and really steered us in the right direction.. even through the wind and rain, the day was everything we could have dreamed of!

The wedding coordinator, Ginger, was awesome! She kept everyone on time and organized! We didn't need to worry about anything. I cannot say enough good things about Stoltzfus. My fiancé and I were about to sign a contract with another wedding venue, but the minute we pulled onto the Stoltzfus property we looked at each other and said, this is the one! The grounds are kept in amazing condition with beautiful landscaping. There are so many interesting areas for your guests to explore, no one will be bored! Our guests have been telling us for months how much fun they had at our wedding between the lawn games, bonfire, and dance floor. It rained for about 75% of our wedding day, but the staff at Stoltzfus kept my spirits up and did everything they could to make sure I was able to still have my first look with my groom and remain dry for the ceremony. Our coordinator Chèla was phenomenal, she took care of so many things behind the scenes and I honestly don’t know how we could have had our day without her. Dawn and Brian are the sweetest, most considerate people. They made us feel special and heard. Our guests really enjoyed chatting with Brian as well! I don’t have a single negative thing to say about Stoltzfus, we love everything about it. 💕

Where do I even begin with Stoltzfus Homestead? From the moment we toured this venue, I instantly fell in love with the esthetics and had a vision in my head of what my dream wedding would look like. But honestly, it wasn’t the venue itself that sold me. We had a tour with one of the owner Brian, and he sold us!! Not only did we just get a tour of the place, he walked us through as is we were a guest arriving to our wedding day. From the walk up to the ceremony barn and set up, to the cocktail lounge/fire pit, and finally to the Grand Barn for the reception, it’s honestly hard not to fall in love with all of what the venue has to offer. This was definitely a top contender as soon as the tour ended, but what sealed the deal for us chatting with Brian afterwards with next steps and pricing. I knew Stoltzfus was “a la carte” but I didn’t expect them to have a list of partner vendors to choose from (various styls + pricing options) which made the whole planning process SO easy. Just like when you find your dress, I KNEW this was my venue! The other owner and wedding consultant Dawn was simply amazing to say the least. She emailed every few months with updates on who/what to book leading up to the wedding date (hotel, transportation, etc) to help guide you, as well as props and services they offer for rent to make your day more special and affordable. She truly helped bring my vision to life by recommending and providing decor, even up until the morning of when a bridesmaid forgot a box of decor! It was a relief having a (better) backup plan. I am so blown away by both Dawn and Brian, and our day of coordinator Chela! for being there on our day and making sure everything went smoothly. It’s truly a blessing that we found Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens, the whole team + vendors care SO MUCH about making your day perfect and stress free- they are there every step of the way. It’s hard for me to say what part was my favorite (tiny house bar, sparkler send off, new bridal suite, or the awesome cocktail lounge that looks like Joanna Gaines designed it!!!) but I do know that choosing Stoltzfus Homestead was the best decision I’ve ever made!

Where do I even begin with Stoltzfus Homestead? From the moment we toured this venue, I instantly fell in love with the esthetics and had a vision in my head of what my dream wedding would look like. But honestly, it wasn’t the venue itself that sold me. We had a tour with one of the owner Brian, and he sold us!! Not only did we just get a tour of the place, he walked us through as is we were a guest arriving to our wedding day. From the walk up to the ceremony barn and set up, to the cocktail lounge/fire pit, and finally to the Grand Barn for the reception, it’s honestly hard not to fall in love with all of what the venue has to offer. This was definitely a top contender as soon as the tour ended, but what sealed the deal for us chatting with Brian afterwards with next steps and pricing. I knew Stoltzfus was “a la carte” but I didn’t expect them to have a list of partner vendors to choose from (various styls + pricing options) which made the whole planning process SO easy. They were well-prepared for the multiple changes of plans that were required as the rain came and went. We still can’t believe how blessed we were to have had our daughter’s wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead. We looked at several similar venues in Lancaster, but nothing compared, and our daughter knew it was right the minute she walked in. Having the ceremony and reception in two separate barns really made it special and they were each decorated differently. The grounds are spectacular. Their attention to detail is really obvious. Every time I was there, someone was gardening or sprucing up. Dawn and Brian made us feel like family from our first day of planning. We loved getting ready in the newly renovated Bridal Suite. Their on-site florist, Megan, of Pearls & Petals, really added to the beauty of the day with her gorgeous flower arrangements. The wedding coordinators are top notch. Pam kept everything on track and handled any issues that came up during the day. I truly got to sit back and just enjoy the blessings of the day. I can’t begin to count how many people said it was the nicest wedding they’ve ever been to. At most weddings, you have two choices; dance or sit at your table. At our wedding, the dance floor was full, there were people enjoying the comfortable furniture in the outdoor lounge, guests enjoying the fire pit and still others playing corn hole boards in the courtyard. There’s something for everyone and we all enjoyed every minute of the day. You won’t look further after visiting Stoltzfus Homestead.

The venue itself is beautiful. It was so nice to have the ceremony in the tobacco barn and the reception in the grand barn. What really sold us on the venue was the outdoors. We loved the setting for cocktail hour and the outdoor activities that took place the rest of the night, such as the game package and camp fire. So many guests told us how beautiful they thought the venue was! Dawn, one of the owners, was wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions the entire year leading up to the wedding and provided me with an abundance of helpful information. The homestead also provided us with our wedding coordinator, who also was named Dawn. She made everything run smoothly and flawlessly on our wedding day. There was so many things that needed to be done and she helped the day keep moving! She decorated the venue exactly how I wanted it. I came to her with very specific ideas and visions and she made the venue look better than I could have ever imagined! In addition to that, she was there handling any bumps in the road the entire day and handling things that I didn't even know needed handling! Dawn handled so many different tasks throughout the wedding so that we could truly enjoy the day with all of our family and friends. She really took away a lot of the stress for us! All of the staff at the venue were amazing to work with. The homestead provided me with some vendors that they recommended I use and I am so glad they did. It made my life easier to find some vendors I knew had good reputations and I was so pleased with everything the homestead recommended. I cannot recommend this venue enough- I knew right away that I wanted to get married here and will forever cherish the memories we made at this venue.

So many of our guests commented that they loved that there was something to do for every guest whether it was dancing, playing lawn games, drinking by the fire, walking the beautiful grounds, etc. Almost every guest we’ve spoken to since said that our ceremony was one of the most beautiful and sentimental they’ve ever witnessed; a lot of credit due to the Tobacco Barn and the magical environment it creates with its tall, white, wooden beams. Brian & Dawn, as well as our Day-of coordinator Chela, were amazing. They had everything from rehearsal to the last song of the night running perfectly. Our guests showered us with compliments on the beauty of the venue and the incredible atmosphere the Homestead provided for a beautiful, relaxed, and enjoyable event. It has taken a while to put into words what The Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens and their staff mean to my (now) husband and me. We knew immediately after our first visit that we wanted to have our special day there. The fabulous owners, Dawn and Brian, made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. The facility itself is stunning; it’s clear how much care and dedication go into the property down to the smallest detail. From the barn beams to the flowers, it is simply beautiful. We booked our Spring 2020 date back in Fall 2018 because my father needed a double lung transplant, and we wanted him to have plenty of time to heal. Each time we talked to anyone at Stoltzfus, they asked about him and our families and reminded us how excited they were for our wedding. It always felt special, like they genuinely cared about us.Fast forward to March 2020, when COVID-19 hit, we were devastated, confused, and terrified about what it meant for our big day. Dawn was a ray of sunshine; she was always cheerful and continuously kept us in the loop with new procedures and protocols, which helped ease our fears and anxiety. She worked quickly to help us rebook within the same year (in November), keeping our fingers crossed that the pandemic would subside. As the day grew closer, we thought about safety and ultimately downsized our guest list to only immediate families and bridal parties. We started to feel like maybe it wouldn’t be worth it to have our big day in such a beautiful space with such few people, and that perhaps we would have an intimate ceremony in a park, save our money, and pick a new date for the future. When I spoke with Dawn about it, she refused in the best way possible. She extraordinarily offered us the use of their venue for a lesser price than we had initially signed our contract for two years prior. Her words were, “We have all waited so long for this, and we want you to be blessed and have a beautiful wedding day at the homestead.” They cared so much about my fiancé and I that they were willing to offer us the use of their stunning facility for less than we had initially agreed. The wedding industry is a multi-billion dollar monster. I’ve heard horror stories of venues closing and mistreating couples just because they can…this is not the case at Stoltzfus Homestead. These people genuinely care about their couples and families, and we were honored and blessed to be married on November 20th. It was a perfect day, with warm (for November) weather and sunshine. Our 25 person wedding was everything we could ever have dreamed of, my father was able to walk me down the aisle, and the attention to detail was just as precise as it would have been for a 250 person gathering. We will always be incredibly grateful to Dawn, Brian, and Ginger (our wedding coordinator, who is an absolute JOY) for saving our wedding. They helped us coordinate with a streaming service so our extended family and friends could watch live and even allowed us to have a bonfire during our reception. We felt like we were dealing with family during the entire process, and when something is as stressful as wedding planning, you couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Dawn and Brian, you’ll never know how grateful we are for what you did for us, and we wish you the best and hoped that you are incredibly blessed.

My husband and I did not want a typical venue and our search for non traditional venues lead us to this barn in PA. The day we visited we knew we had to get married at stoltzfus. The grand barn was so gorgeous on its own and though we wanted an outside ceremony, the tobacco barn was a really pretty back up plan. Dawn and Brian were SO supportive, reassuring and empathetic during planning during covid. They're whole team was so organized and efficient, our wedding day was so smooth and everyone took such good care of us throughout the day. They had a team to help pack up our decorations and they did it so quickly. We received so many compliments throughout the night from our guests with how pretty and perfect the venue was. We lucked out as we were expecting a cooler wedding day and it was in the 70s! Though it was a bit cooler at night, the courtyard fire made it so comfortable, we couldn't have asked for a better day or a better team. Highly recommend this venue.

I had planned to visit several venues before making a final decision, but once I met with Dawn and walked the grounds, I fell in love and knew that nothing else would compare. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Two months later and I'm still getting messages from friends and family telling us that our wedding was the most beautiful and relaxing wedding they'd ever been to. If you're looking for a venue that treats you like family, takes impeccable care of their grounds, has this whole wedding process down to a science, and literally makes you feel calm and that everything is under control, then SHG is for you. Our coordinator Ginger was absolutely amazing - we couldn’t have gotten through the day without her! Courtney was our officiant, she made our ceremony so memorable. Both her and her husband are such beautiful people and took care of us that day! Each of them paid such close attention to detail and took care of everything from beginning to end. I came across photos from a wedding at Stoltzfus over 5 years ago and fell in love with the venue from the photos. I then began to folllow them on social media and knew there was no where else I’d have my dream wedding. The venue itself is breathtaking but the details the staff puts into making your day so personal is outstanding. Brian and Dawn have this down to a science and give you all the tips and advice to make your dream day a reality. I had so many people ask “aren’t you stressed about your wedding” and the answer was always no...looking back this is because of the tools and confidence they offer while wedding planning they’re there every step of the way and able to answer any question. When it came to my actual wedding day I was lucky enough to have Ginger as my onsite cordinator-she deserves her own review because I’ve never met someone so detail oriented, who was so kind, and made us feel as though she had been a longtime family friend. Ginger made sure every minute of my day was perfect down to packing up our things at the end of the evening. Brian and the rest of the team also really made my day special, even from something as simple as carrying my bags in the morning to the bridal suite because it was “my day” as they put it. I’ve dreamt about my wedding day since a little girl and our wedding held at Stoltzfus was better then anything in my wildest dreams. My daughter and son-in-law had a magical day, her mother and I felt that all elements of the experience were perfect, and most importantly, our guests continued to rave about what a good time they had. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The Stoltzfus experience exceeded our wildest expectations! Our wedding was originally set for June 6, 2020 - right in the thick of the coronavirus pandemic. We ended up postponing our reception to August in the hopes that the pandemic would subside enough to have a celebration. Dawn and Brian were ultra generous, understanding, and flexible in the given circumstances - they allowed us to have a small ceremony on our original June 6 date with our immediate families at the venue, with full access to all of the amenities for no additional charge. For the larger reception, the Stoltzfus crew did an amazing job communicating updates and implementing safety measures to make our guests feel safe. Ginger was our coordinator for both days, and she was absolutely wonderful! I did not feel stressed at all on the day of the wedding because Ginger took care of everything! We chose Stoltzfus for a couple reasons. First, it is a GORGEOUS venue (even when we toured in January!). I don't think you can take a single bad picture there. Second, we wanted a laid-back, comfortable atmosphere for our wedding, and Stoltzfus delivered. All of our guests loved the fire pit and the lawn games, everyone felt right at home! Third, I wanted to have some options in choosing the vendors for our wedding (some venues have onsite catering that may limit your options, and since we wanted BBQ, I needed options!). Stoltzfus has a wonderful selection of vendors that they partner with, and all of them are amazing! I did not realize how valuable this vendor network was until the 2 weeks before the wedding, when we met with all of our vendors to finalize the details. I was stressed about having to coordinate details with the vendors (e.g. make sure the DJ knows when to introduce the cake cutting, get the bouquets from the florist to give to the photographer for detail shots). But since the Stoltzfus vendors work together quite often, they were able to take care of all of those little details for me, most of the time without me knowing. Dawn, Brian, and Ginger took such good care of us and I will forever be grateful to them and their team for giving us the perfect wedding day (twice!).

My husband and I got married October 25, 2019 and it was the most magical day of our lives. We traveled from NJ to have our wedding at this venue because it is just THAT GOOD!!! Dawn and Brian are amazing to work with and basically walked you through the entire process and have thought about everything and anything to ensure your day goes by flawless and it did! The venue is truly so different than anything i’ve ever seen which is why we were so set to book, I wanted there to be something for everyone and with the outdoors option we got it. There was dancing inside, s’mores bar, outside we had a photo booth, cornhole, a fire pit, whiskey bar the list goes ON!!!! My husband and I got married October 25, 2019 and it was the most magical day of our lives. We traveled from NJ to have our wedding at this venue because it is just THAT GOOD!!! Dawn and Brian are amazing to work with and basically walked you through the entire process and have thought about everything and anything to ensure your day goes by flawless and it did! The venue is truly so different than anything i’ve ever seen which is why we were so set to book, I wanted there to be something for everyone and with the outdoors option we got it. There was dancing inside, s’mores bar, outside we had a photo booth, cornhole, a fire pit, whiskey bar the list goes ON!!!! From the spectacularly restored barns to the grounds and gardens, this place had everything we wanted. The staff's hospitality was INCREDIBLE. Brian and Dawn made us feel like family and listened to every request we made. Our hosts for our wedding day were Liz and Charlie, who prayed for us and made our wedding day seamlessly perfect! We got married on a very hot July day and the team at the Homestead did an amazing job comforting our guests with wet washcloths in addition to bringing in fans and air conditioning units. The list of preferred vendors was full of wonderful vendors who worked hard and gave the same level of service they provided. It also helped narrow down who to work with! The bridal suite and groom lounge were big enough for our bridal party (which was on the smaller side).

We had Dawn Beitzel as our Cordinator and she did such an excellent job!! Everything at Stoltzsfus Homestead and Gardens is done with the most absolute excellence and Highest Standards! They value family and value making your wedding day the most memorable experience filled with joy, peace, and memories! They all have the sweetest and kindest hearts that love to serve with joy! It was such an honor to work with the team. They are very experienced and have shown they can meet the desires of any couple. With Dawn and Brian and the team, there is no need to reinvent the wheel. They have weddings down to a science and know how to execute with grace, excellence, and joy! The Homestead itself is absolutely breathtaking and we fell in love with it the minute we laid eyes on the barns! The venues beauty truly speaks for itself however the homestead offers many add ons on site which make life seriously 100% easier! Courtney the day of coordinator was life changing, she went above and beyond in every aspect whether it was bustling my dress, ensuring we ate, and handling everything throw her way. If anything went wrong on our wedding day-I was not aware because she handled it beautifully. I really do not have enough nice things about the homestead, they made our wedding everything we could possible dream of, yet better. We would recommend this venue and team to anyone and everyone! The reviews don't lie... Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens and their entire team, particularly Dawn and Brian, are incredible. From the second we visited their venue to our wedding 8 months later, Dawn and her team were responsive, professional, incredibly knowledgable, and supportive. 90% of our guests came from out of town and had never been to the area, and they won't stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. We were concerned about the heat in August, but it proved to not be an issue as a result of a casual dress code and cooling units (and an ice cream truck didn't hurt). We were also concerned about rain, and while it did rain for ~20 minutes it honestly enhanced the day. Dawn's husband Brian kept us in the loop on the weather schedule, and the beautiful sunny downpour (and rainbow) that followed made our day even more special. SHG is a well oiled machine, but they still work individually with each couple and work to make each wedding authentic to the couple. I could not recommend the venue highly enough, and we're so grateful to the SHG team for a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

Stoltzfus is simply amazing! We visited 6 venues in 2 days and as soon as Brian opened the tobacco barn doors we knew immediately that we would be getting married there. It is beautiful on the grounds and the perfect place for a laid back wedding. Brain and our day of coordinator Ginger made sure our day ran calmly and smoothly despite the heat and storm. Dawn was our officiant and we couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. She made it so personal and special and we are so happy we chose her! Also, we couldn’t be happier with our handmade sweetheart table from their son. Our bridal party gave it as a gift to us during rehearsal and all signed the bottom of it. We will always remember sharing our first meal as husband and wife at that table!

I am still in awe of our complete experience with Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens. During our initial tour, Brian gave me an idea of what it would be like to be a bride behind those big barn doors of the Tobacco barn and entering with my father to walk the aisle. The barn doors make a certain rumble that can't be duplicated and certainly demand attention, it still gives me chills. In that moment I knew I wanted to get married in the Tobacco Barn. I knew standing behind those doors would end up to be one of the most emotional and stand out moments of my wedding day. It took my husband and I only a couple of minutes to send in our verbal agreement that we would have our wedding at the homestead. And from then on every detail leading up to our day was well thought out and discussed to keep our minds at ease during planning. Dawn and Brian made sure that everyone was on the same page with meetings and constant communication until our wedding day. When you choose to have your wedding day at the homestead you can expect to feel like you are part of a true family. Our wedding coordinator Liz and our site host Charlie, went to every length to make sure our day would run smoothly and without any issues. The preferred vendors and the level of expertise each of these people brought to our special day was truly remarkable to watch and comforting to know we were in good hands. Having the whole grounds to yourself and watching your vision come together is a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else. All members of the staff were extremely caring, professional, and personable. Dawn was helpful in so many of the details of the planning process and always replied in a timely fashion to my emailed questions. Our day of coordinator, Ginger, went above and beyond! She was so organized, helpful, and checking in to make sure that we were enjoying our day! We loved every part of this beautiful venue. The barns for the ceremony and reception are simplistically beautiful, the property is full of gardens and great spots for pictures, and the additional spaces (bridal suite, grooms lounge, and outside lounge) were great as well! We would most certainly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a simple, barn/rustic, elegant venue!

Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens is the BEST venue you could ever go with! Where to even begin... First, my family and I are located in Maryland. I had to be married in front of a weeping willow tree, so the hunt was on! We visited 4-5 venues within Maryland, but there was always an issue. From not enough room for our guests, to not being able to get married by the Willow tree. So I decided to venture out. Thanks to WeddingWire, Stoltzfus came across my screen. The reviews were great, and I noticed right away that there were Weeping Willows on the property. When I emailed Stoltzfus, Dawn (owner) responded within a day. She was excited to tell me all about their venue, what they offered and how they had multiple weeping willows for me to choose from. She even sent me pictures of them all! When my mom, and my fiancé Joey headed up to see the property (3 1/2 hour drive), Dawn was SO flexible when it came to a time, especially knowing we were coming from so far away. INSTANTLY we were blown away by their venue. The grounds themselves were breathtaking. I loved how they had two barns, one for the reception, and one for the ceremony (if it rained and you couldn't get married outside). Everything was just beautiful. We walked around the property checking out all the weeping willows, there were a bunch! Leaving, we knew they were the venue we had been looking for. We didn't decide on the marriage spot until about a month before the wedding since I wanted to see the trees in full bloom. Throughout the entire process, Dawn and her team made EVERYTHING go as smoothly as possible, communication was constant, and I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. She had answers to everything. being a \"destination\" wedding, I was really feeling the pressure, but Dawn made me feel so comfortable. I loved how the florist (Petals & pearls, Megan, Dawns daughter) and the bar tenders (Brian Waltman, Dawns Husband), were onsite. We took a few trips back up over the course of the year before the wedding to get details together. I was always able to coordinate with them as well, so that we all were meeting at the same time, and not making extra trips. Dawn and her team made sure that the spot I chose by the willow tree was PERFECT. They did everything in their power to make sure that the area itself was perfect. The grass was beautiful, the trees and shrubs were green and Brian himself even took out some dead shrubs so that it all flowed so nicely for my big day!! On my wedding day, they always say that no day goes perfectly, but I am here to tell you MINE DID!!! Dawn and her team made sure of that!!!! When we woke up the morning of my big day, it was sprinkling, and the forecast showed afternoon showers. Dawn and Brian both assured me that everything was going to be okay. Brian waited until the last possible second before setting up our benches, which luckily the rain completely held off until dinner!!! From that very morning, till our night was over, everything was perfect. They never made it feel rushed, Dawn and Brian were there to support us, and our guests on our big day. They made you feel like you were family. This venue and their staff is absolutely the most kind hearted and giving people you will meet. You would not be disappointed in choosing them to be your venue!!!!

Planning a wedding is no small task, but Dawn makes the entire process extremely manageable. She is always quick to answer any and all questions and truly works with you to make sure your vision comes to life on your wedding day. Our day of coordinator, Pam Seaburg, was equally delightful to work with and went above and beyond to ensure our big day went off without a hitch. I am definitely the type of person who tends to stress over details, however I can honestly say that I was able to completely relax the entire wedding week knowing that our day was in such capable hands. Dawn and Brian are very easy to get a hold of and very helpful in guiding you to plan your big day. Our day of coordinators were Charlie and Liz and they really put my mind at easy the whole weekend! Our dog was our flower girl and Micah watched Nelly over night. Any problems that popped up along the way, SHG was there to ease our minds. If I had to do it all again, I would still choose SHG and our guest would agree. There is so much room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the night! Highly recommend Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens

Stoltzfus is truly the second best decision I've made, only second to marrying the guy of my dreams. Being a bride without my mother here was challenging, but the staff helped to put me at ease each step of the way <3 Every detail was carefully thought out, and they made any potential bump go smoothly. One of my maids of honor was physically handicapped and they made sure she was taken care of and had a great time, something we will remember forever. I would get married anywhere if I could have the staff that we did at Stoltzfuz <3BUT! The GREAT beauty of the homestead is truly AMAZING! My guests loved it sooo much. Stoltzfus is truly the second best decision I've made, only second to marrying the guy of my dreams. Being a bride without my mother here was challenging, but the staff helped to put me at ease each step of the way <3 Every detail was carefully thought out, and they made any potential bump go smoothly. One of my maids of honor was physically handicapped and they made sure she was taken care of and had a great time, something we will remember forever. I would get married anywhere if I could have the staff that we did at Stoltzfuz <3BUT! The GREAT beauty of the homestead is truly AMAZING! My guests loved it sooo much.
