Historic Country Barn Wedding Venue in Lancaster
The Barn at Silverstone is a rustic wedding venue in Lancaster, PA. Boasting centuries of history, this country barn offers soon-to-be-weds to create their fairytale among the pastoral surroundings. This setting’s natural wood and stone architecture throughout the premises, along with their onsite team’s attentive services, have been carefully designed to create unforgettable events. Built in the early 1800’s, The Barn at Silverstone was originally used to house working horses on the 1,000-acre farm. It has since been carefully restored to preserve its classic architecture and masonry work. The current manager, Miranda and Nick Wagner, quickly saw the romantic potential of this setting after hosting their own wedding on the grounds in 2015. Visiting couples will now have four unique spaces to host their nuptial events. Their main indoor space, The Barn Hall, can host receptions of up to 200 guests. Natural stone and wood features, exposed ceiling beams, and a custom bar area add a rustic aesthetic to any couple’s big day. The Stables features a 15-foot-long copper bar and 22-foot long trough, which can be used as an eye-catching hors d'oeuvres display during cocktail hours. For a one-of-a-kind ceremony, the Hay Barn can seat up to 200 guests underneath the delicate string lights on the ceiling. Elegant drapes are present, for a dramatic entrance to the aisle. You will also be free to use the courtyard to hold your special day under the sun. The decorative stone fireplace will act as your altar backdrop, along with the nearby pond with dramatic fountain features. Two dressing suites are present, with hair and makeup stations, large windows, and lounge furniture where you can relax with your entourage. Miranda, Nick, and their team will be happy to assist you from start to finish, whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or extravagant celebration. They can work out the important details with you, to ensure everything goes according to plan. The staff will set up their tables, chairs, linens, and dinnerware into any arrangement you prefer. In addition, you will have full access to their onsite caterer, who will customize your menu, from your appetizers to your wedding cake.

Our experience at The Barn at Silverstone was nothing short of magical! From the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to celebrate our special day.I have been following them on instagram since 2016, so when we finally searched for a venue, we knew this was at the top of our list. We are beyond happy with our decision.The picturesque setting of The Barn at Silverstone provided the most perfect backdrop for our wedding. We instantly fell in love with the fact that guests had 3 different areas to go from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception and that no space had to be \"turned over\". Each space guests walked in they were blown away by. The bridal mansion was truly the best experience for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in. We weren't squished in a hotel room or tiny bridal suite. We had so much room and the hair and makeup artist said it was the best lighting and set up they've ever worked in. It instantly set the mood for the day to be perfect. The venue's team truly went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our celebration was flawless.The staff at the Barn and Silverstone + Serock Catering were not only professional but also incredibly warm and accommodating. They worked closely with us in the planning process, offering valuable insights and creative ideas that elevated our vision. On the day of the event, their attention to detail and commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of the celebration.I brought a lot of DIY and everything was set up exactly how I asked. I had butterflies and tears when I saw my vision of the reception area come to life. Every vendor Miranda recommended was amazing to work with. Each one added a special touch to our day. Serock Catering was exceptional. The food exceeded our expectations with a menu that not only showcased delicious flavors but also catered to dietary preferences and restrictions. Usually wedding food isn't that good, this is great. What truly stood out was the seamless coordination and execution of the entire event. Kristy with Serock and Miranda ensured that every moment flowed effortlessly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day. From the ceremony to the reception, every transition was smooth, and the timing impeccable.Our guests were equally impressed and couldn't stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the quality of service, and the overall \"good vibe\" experience. We just got married on 10/27/23 and I truly cannot put into words how incredible Miranda and this venue is. We had endless compliments on how beautiful the grounds were. The day went perfect!! Miranda was so invested in what our vision was for our wedding and helped us make that come to life. She made the entire wedding planning processes so easy (I did not get a wedding planner because all of her suggested vendors were also amazing). Miranda was always quick to respond to all of our questions over the two years and planning and even helped make some last minute decor changes that matched our mood boards. She was such a calming presence the day of the wedding while we got ready in the stunning bridal suite because I knew she had everything ready and under control! We planned our wedding while not living in state and with all that Miranda has in place for planning and months leading up we never had to worry. Thank you to the Barn at Silverstone team for making our special day so incredible!! We hope to be back for another wedding ❤️

Would 100% (and more) recommend Miranda and everyone at the Barn at Silverstone for your wedding venue needs. First, the grounds and party spaces are beautiful and make for amazing photos. There's a variety of different spaces that make for excellent photos such as by the willow trees, the by the beautiful white fencing overlooking the vast greenery, and the rustic style buildings (plus more).Second, for those with larger bridal parties such as myself, there is an option (add-on) to get ready in the newly renovated Bridal Mansion which provided ample space as the bridal lounge attached to the reception space was smaller and wouldn't accommodate a large group for getting ready. This smaller bridal lounge though was perfect for keeping our smaller personal items secured nearby during the reception in case we needed to get quick touchups. The larger Bridal Mansion was great for all my stylists/MUA to get together to efficiently work on all the bridesmaids/moms and myself. There's a beautiful little bar area where we were able to bring some snacks/drinks while we got ready as well as a dining room and a changing area where all the dresses could be hung. Great space for everyone to get ready. The groom/groomsmen lounge was also very useful for all the guys to get ready and hang out prior to the ceremony.And finally (and most importantly), as many of the reviews describe, Miranda is highly involved in making sure your big day goes as smoothly as possible. She is highly organized, gives great suggestions and knows how to foresee any bumps in the road that may come about planning your big day and is able to prepare you for it ahead of time. She works closely with you with logistical considerations, how to distribute your decorations and her and her team were so helpful in setting up and breaking down the decor to packing it into your car. We didn't have to stress about setting up or how we'd know it'd look good. We gave Miranda our \"vibe/style\" and she went with it and nailed it out of the park. She helped provide suggestions on how to best reuse decor throughout the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception to make the most of what we had. Miranda is super responsive to all emails and whether or not she's worked with your vendor, she seemlessly coordinates it all. There was no need for a wedding planner when I was able to convey my vision to Miranda and she was able to deliver. We received SO many compliments with how smoothly our wedding ran. No one was rushed and everyone had a wonderful time!In addition, the associated catering company that works alongside Miranda was fabulous as well. They kept us full both during the wedding (aka we def got to eat!) and after the wedding with the leftovers and accommodated the various food restrictions/allergies. Miranda worked closely with Kristy our coordinator, provided by Serock, and the two are a dynamic duo who are clearly experts in running a smooth and efficient wedding. All of this to say that the Barn at Silverstone has a great setup of support and local vendors who helped make our day perfect! We had the wedding of our dreams at the Barn at Silverstone. Every space of the venue from inside to outside is beautiful. Miranda was a pleasure to work with and helped bring our vision to life. She was helpful, professional, and answered any and all questions in a timely manner. We could not have been happier with our choice. We received so many compliments on the venue. Additionally, the food from Serok catering was excellent. We received so many compliments that their food was the best they have ever had at a wedding by so many of our guests. Not only was the food great but the coordinator helped make sure our day ran smoothly with no issues! Overall 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend!

The Barn at Silverstone is INCREDIBLE. Miranda, the owner, was absolutely amazing during the entire process. We had a long engagement, so we booked this venue two years before our wedding. Miranda was always reachable with any questions we had come up along the way and had always reached out to us when a deadline was approaching. I cannot even put into words how amazingly perfect our wedding day was. Any doubt or question you could have had was answered or handled before even having to ask. The photo opportunities are endless here- the grounds are absolutely stunning. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was, down to every little detail. We had the wedding of our dreams and it truly would not have been possible without Miranda. I cannot recommend The Barn at Silverstone enough. Absolutely amazing.

Our wedding was October 15th and the day was fabulous and organized. I didn't have to do anything but enjoy the day because Miranda had answered all my questions timely and gotten all the details organized ahead of schedule. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely still pick this venue. The food was phenomenal as well! Everyone I've spoken to has said the venue was stunning and the food was fantastic. If I could, I'd give this venue a 10/10 rating! Highly recommend!!

The Barn at Silverstone was an absolutely amazing wedding venue! Not only is it stunningly beautiful, but the people who work there are organized and lovely. Our wedding was October 15th and the day was fabulous and organized. I didn't have to do anything but enjoy the day because Miranda had answered all my questions timely and gotten all the details organized ahead of schedule. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely still pick this venue. The food was phenomenal as well! Everyone I've spoken to has said the venue was stunning and the food was fantastic. If I could, I'd give this venue a 10/10 rating! Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend this venue enough!! Miranda, the owner, was so organized and made sure the day was exactly how I envisioned. She guided us through the whole process and made us feel confident we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our special day. The food provided by their catering partner, John Serock Catering, was the best wedding food I’ve ever had. It was served hot and so tasty. If you don’t book this venue, you’re missing out!

She guided us through the whole process and made us feel confident we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our special day. The Barn at Silverstone is one of the most beautiful wedding venues! After our first visit, we fell in love with it. On top of that, Miranda was amazing. From the beginning of our wedding process, she helped us every step of the way. It was the most special and memorable day and we are so happy it all started at The Barn at Silverstone!

Our wedding last week was an absolute DREAM thanks to the Barn at Silverstone. The owner of the venue Miranda also made the entire planning process so seamless; seriously I don't think she every took longer than 1-2 hours to respond to the numerous emails I sent.Also Serock catering was hands down the best wedding food any of us have ever had. Miranda was always there to help and answer any questions that we had almost immediately. Her whole team was so attentive to every detail the day of our wedding and we truly appreciate how smoothly the day went. The catering service and food provided was amazing, everything from the food at cocktail hour, to the dinner meals, to the desserts were so good and all of our guests commented on how good the service and the food was! It was truly the most perfect day and we can’t thank Miranda and the whole team enough for everything that they did for us. It was a beautiful day shared with our closest family and friends and for that we are forever grateful! I cannot say enough about The Barn at Silverstone and its exclusive caterer, John Serock Catering. From the early stages of choosing a venue to the final hugs goodnight with Miranda, the venue owner, and Kristy, the day-of coordinator, the Barn at Silverstone exceeded our every expectation. Our daughter's wedding was held this past weekend and it was nothing short of magical, despite near hundred-degree temperatures. With regard to the facility, it is hard to express how absolutely gorgeous each and every part of this venue is - everywhere you look, there is absolute beauty - from the barns, gazebo, lovely trees, and gorgeous willow tree, goat barns, stone homes, fountain - honestly, the list goes on and on. The inside of the numerous venues available are even more stunning, requiring so little additional decor to make them all just stunning for the event and the pictures. You really need to visit the place to see how stunning it really is. But what you cannot tell, and what you should be most interested in if you are seeking a venue, is how Miranda and Kristy, as well as the rest of the exclusive Serock catering team, operated seamlessly. Miranda and Kristy are two of the most organized people I have met and they are very, very good at what they do. The decor we provided was set out perfectly, the facilities looked gorgeous, the food was phenomenal, and everything was served professionally and by people who clearly love their jobs and seek to make everyone happy. The bride and groom as well as the immediate family table had their own personal attendant who took care of everything that was needed, sometimes before we even knew it was needed! The meals were served to every single guest within 4 minutes start to finish so every person had a hot meal that they could enjoy immediately with the rest of the guests. The numerous allergies and food preferences, including some that were extremely serious, were handled with care and an assurance of safety. Modifications were managed with a smile. The attention and care that went into packaging and sending home food for the bride and groom as well as the care that went into packing up all decor and personal items and placing them in the designated vehicles are the types of touches that made the night so effortless for us. There are countless more examples of that kind of attention, all things that, at the end of the night, almost made my husband and I wish we had another daughter to celebrate at the same venue.

PERFECT! Every single detail about this venue is absolutely perfect. We fell in love with Silverstone as soon as we toured it, and that was even further solidified by how incredible working with Miranda was. We were planning our wedding from Arizona, obviously making logistics more challenging than for locals, but Miranda (owner/coordination/superstar) relieved nearly every headache that came with wedding planning. She was super quick to respond to every question we had (and there were plenty), she was thorough, flexible and caught every detail I missed. She really was our anchor throughout the entire process and helped everything come together the way we hoped. Aside from her being amazing and the venue being absolutely stunning, the catering company they pair with is also top tier, both food and staff. Our catering coordinator, Kristy, was also very communicative and thorough and helped tie everything together perfectly. The food was delicious and everyone raved to us for days following about both the food and the venue and how amazing it all was. I really don’t think you can go wrong choosing this venue, we genuinely don’t have a single negative thing to say about our experience!

We scheduled a tour with the owner and the rest all fell into place. Miranda, you are the definition of personable. The Barn at Silverstone is more than just a venue, it’s your life. It is evident that you put your life into making sure each wedding is everything that bride and groom could ever want. You are all things caring, kind, professional, positive, organized, dedicated, down to earth, big hearted, all around best human we have ever met. Having our wedding there was truly a dream. The venue hands down is the most beautiful venue with so many options, opportunities, and visions. You were the only person we communicated with during the whole process. YOU are the reason it was the easiest yes. The amount of compliments we received that night was immeasurable. My jaw is still on the ground looking at all the pictures and reliving that day. Miranda, thank you for all the effort, emails, phone calls, accountability, and flexibility you have provided over the past two years. The Barn at Silverstone is a gorgeous venue, a perfect combination of rustic, romantic, chic, and modern. It is impeccably kept and cared for and Miranda, the venue owner/manager, is truly incredible at what she does. She pours her heart into every event and her attention to detail is outstanding. From her list of recommended vendors, to her detailed spreadsheets, to her amazing seating chart software (such a lifesaver), Miranda truly gets to know your wedding inside and out so she can bring your vision to life. Her advice and insight were invaluable during the planning process, and she is above all such a kind, passionate, and easy person to work with. No question was too silly, and no issue could not be fixed.When we arrived at the venue on our wedding day, Miranda and our vendors - all of whom we chose from her list of recommendations - took the reins, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our day. Miranda took our boxes of decor and turned it all into something truly magical. Not a single detail was missed. We were speechless when we saw how Miranda took our ideas and made them real. I finally have some time to sit down and write a review for the wedding venue my wife Jess and I chose, so here we go. We had looked at a few other places in the Lancaster area, mainly barn style venues with outdoor space, but we kept coming back to this one. Granted it was a bit more costly then most of others we had looked at, but having planned it all with Miranda and having our special day there, I can say it was worth every penny. My wife took care of pretty much all the planning with Miranda with some input from myself on things, but Miranda was great to work with. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and she really helped us greatly to plan our wedding. Very easy to work with and just sit down and talk everything out with. She has a great list of companies who they work with for everything from the catering, to the bar and drinks, to the decorations and floral arrangements. We were able to easily find someone for all of our needs and if not, she always had a back-up we could try. John Serock catering was amazing, the food and service was second to none and they did a great job. Kristy, our coordinator, did awesome and made sure we were both taken care of throughout the reception. She would grab drinks for us and even had extra plates of appetizers and meals brought to our table. She definitely went the extra mile for us and we appreciated it. We chose DJ Andy M for our music and he was also awesome as well. Very thorough on what music you want and don't want, even specific songs and did a whole breakdown of what would play for each part of the ceremony and reception. He helped make our reception move along seamlessly and would always come let us know beforehand what was coming next. Overall, the venue itself was amazing and we are very happy we decided to have our wedding here. I have got nothing but compliments on how great of a wedding it was from a lot of my family and friends. If you're having any doubts or second guesses about having your special day here, just know you're in good hands and I hope this review helps you make that decision easier.

Granted it was a bit more costly then most of others we had looked at, but having planned it all with Miranda and having our special day there, I can say it was worth every penny. My wife took care of pretty much all the planning with Miranda with some input from myself on things, but Miranda was great to work with. She is very thorough and knowledgeable and she really helped us greatly to plan our wedding. Very easy to work with and just sit down and talk everything out with. She has a great list of companies who they work with for everything from the catering, to the bar and drinks, to the decorations and floral arrangements. We were able to easily find someone for all of our needs and if not, she always had a back-up we could try. John Serock catering was amazing, the food and service was second to none and they did a great job. Kristy, our coordinator, did awesome and made sure we were both taken care of throughout the reception. She would grab drinks for us and even had extra plates of appetizers and meals brought to our table. She definitely went the extra mile for us and we appreciated it. We chose DJ Andy M for our music and he was also awesome as well. Very thorough on what music you want and don't want, even specific songs and did a whole breakdown of what would play for each part of the ceremony and reception. He helped make our reception move along seamlessly and would always come let us know beforehand what was coming next. Overall, the venue itself was amazing and we are very happy we decided to have our wedding here. I have got nothing but compliments on how great of a wedding it was from a lot of my family and friends. If you're having any doubts or second guesses about having your special day here, just know you're in good hands and I hope this review helps you make that decision easier.

When we were venue hunting, we took a whole day and went up to the Lancaster area and looked at about 7 or 8 venues in the surrounding area, and it was as if we saved the best for last! Finally getting to the Barn at Silverstone, and seeing it in person, it completely blew us away (and that was even seeing it in mid-February in the heart of Winter time). It gave us that combination of country rustic and modernity that we were hoping for. Amazing views on the outside, a gorgeous willow tree (which we got many pictures with), a chic cocktail hour area which can be both indoor and outdoor, and just an undeniably beautiful reception room. This venue just fit our style so much and we love how our pictures and videos came out. It truly got so many compliments from our guests as well. Also, to note, all of this couldn’t have gone the way we imagined if it weren’t for the owner, and wedding coordinator, Miranda. I literally strive to be as organized in life as this woman is. Miranda was so incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire wedding planning process, and was always prompt with answering emails and communicating. The entire day went so smoothly because Miranda knows how to coordinate weddings and have everything lined up, waiting and ready to happen, as things should be. And if a plan B is needed, she’s ready. We are thankful to have had her with us throughout the process, and on the day, and we can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us! When I say that this venue blew me away, I am not exaggerating. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state which is stressful enough, but we stumbled upon this venue and I was immediately in love. The grounds are absolutely stunning and we wanted a fall wedding that would give peak fall foliage and that is exactly what we got and more. It’s four months after our wedding and our friends and family are still commenting on how perfect the venue was! When we first went on our tour Miranda answered all of the questions we had even before we could ask them. You could tell she was extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and ready to help us create the wedding of our dreams. Once we decided that the Barn At Silverstone was the venue for us Miranda gave us all of the resources we might need- giving recommendations for all types of vendors, a tip guide, measurements of shelves and tables for decor. She was always readily available if we ever had questions or concerns. Having Miranda with us every step of the way made wedding planning a breeze.When it came time to the wedding Miranda did just about all of the decorating for us. We brought labeled boxes and she went to work. She even decorated our cake with the flowers from our florist. Our wedding day was flawless and if something did go wrong Miranda and Kristy (the day of Coordinator from Serock Catering) fixed it without us knowing there was even an issue. We picked The Barn of Silverstone for its beauty but Miranda truly makes the venue one of a kind. We could never thank Miranda and her team enough for helping us create the perfect wedding.

She made what can be extremely overwhelming (wedding planning) feel like a walk in the park. She is incredibly personable and there for you every step of the way. The venue itself is gorgeous and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. We felt like \"home\" at this venue which is exactly how we wanted to feel. And let me tell you about the FOOD! The catering company, Serock was incredible. The food was delicious and the service at our wedding was top notch. My husband and I were taken care of all night by what felt like our very own personal waitress (Caroline - you ROCK) and we actually sat down and ate (A LOT) at our wedding which was great! Kristy of Serock was spectacular at the wedding, making sure everything ran smoothly and was seamless - making it a stress free day for us. We couldn't have asked for a better day. I can't say enough good things about the Barn at Silverstone! We stumbled upon it by chance as we hadn't initially considered Lancaster for our wedding, and I'm so glad we did. Wedding Spaces: The barn is beautiful and restored so thoughtfully - somehow feels rustic and modern at the same time, while maintaining its authenticity. The indoor ceremony space at the Hay Barn is so beautiful that we held our ceremony inside even though the weather was fine outside (well, for a mid summer day). Our guests really appreciated this, and it took a lot of stress out of planning since we wouldn't be impacted by the volatility of the weather. There are so many beautiful locations for photos (the Willow tree, the gazebo, the fireplace, the pond). Food: John Serock is the exclusive caterer and they are amazing! Everyone raved about the food (charcuterie, passed apps, and the entrees) and they were so great to work with. They were so attentive day-of and made sure that we always had a food and beverage nearby. Our day of coordinator, Kristy, made the rehearsal and day-of run soooo smoothly. Venue Manager: I'm pretty sure everyone says this, but Miranda is AMAZING and truly made wedding planning so much easier. She had so many helpful resources for us and was incredibly quick at responding to our endless questions. She puts so much thought and care into every wedding, that she felt like family by the end of the wedding day. And I'm confident I didn't even notice everything that she did for us behind the scenes, but I'm so thankful.

From the moment I reached out to Miranda, she was nothing but accommodating and responsive. I never waited more than 24 hours for a response to any question. Same goes for Kristy. We had last minute changes to our guest list and Miranda was able to help rearrange tables for us. Kristy made everything go incredibly smoothly the day of the wedding.In addition to the amazingness of Miranda and Kristy, The Barn at Silverstone is also an incredibly beautiful venue. The grounds are immaculate, and there is a drop dead gorgeous indoor ceremony space. This proved invaluable as the weather on our wedding day grew increasingly worse as the day approached. I was not disappointed at all to be indoors, and was relieved to be in a climate controlled space on such a muggy day.Anyway, future brides and engaged people of the internet, I'm going to stop blathering now and simply say this; you should strongly consider The Barn at Silverstone for your upcoming wedding. Our Son was married 6/11 at the Barn at Silverstone. He was married in the barn which was absolutely beautiful! The cocktail hour and reception were exceptional. Every second from start to finish was perfect! Professionalism is the word I would use to describe the staff. It was OUR day and they made it perfect. The location, efficiency and perfection made for a beautiful event. The bridal suite and groom's lounge were SO nice and enjoyed by us all! Bride and Groom each had NINE attendants plus parents and the suites were definitely large enough for comfort! We would highly recommend this venue!

She lives and breathes your wedding day vision just as much as you do! Her venue is so unique because of how easy it is to book not only the venue but, the caterer, florist, and DJ all in one! The Barn at Silverstone is such a beautiful venue by itself that in my opinion it does not need a lot of décor, so if you are more on the minimal side this is definitely the most breathtaking venue with the least amount of effort but, it can also be as glam as you want. Definitely the perfect venue no matter what kind of vision you have.

The Barn at Silverstone is such a beautiful venue by itself that in my opinion it does not need a lot of décor, so if you are more on the minimal side this is definitely the most breathtaking venue with the least amount of effort but, it can also be as glam as you want. Definitely the perfect venue no matter what kind of vision you have.

Miranda and Nick do such a great job at keeping up with the property spaces, the grounds, and everything in between. Our guests were in awe of this venue. It is an absolutely gorgeous place to have a wedding! There are multiple ceremony options, with plan B being just as beautiful as plan A. We had originally planned for our ceremony to be outdoors, however mother nature had other plans it poured down rain on our wedding day. Miranda and Nick made the transition indoors so seamless and easy. All of our guests were provided with umbrellas to walk from the ceremony space, to the cocktail hour space, and reception space. Miranda is there for you every step of the way and made the planning process a breeze. She is so accessible and whenever I had a question, she would answer my emails in a matter of minutes. Our wedding at The Barn at Silverstone was a dream! Miranda truly made our vision come to life. She genuinely cares about the couples she works with and is extremely detail oriented, making sure that she understands everything you want your big day to be. The Barn at Silverstone is an absolute dream! From the first day we toured, to weeks after our big day, we are in love with this venue and all of its staff. Miranda works with you from day 1 to help you envision your perfect day and makes it all happen! She is extremely organized and her venue is a well-oiled machine. She provided a very easy to follow timeline with all reminders for payments, planning, and also sent out reminder emails. We loved that everything was included: she has a special rate with Serock catering (delicious, got many compliments on our food), already has chiavari chairs at no extra cost, linens, etc… Her staff was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They put out all decor and loaded it into our cars at the end of the night. Everything was extremely well-executed. The venue is so beautiful on its own you only need limited decor to make it custom for your day. The grounds are stunning; it makes you feel secluded but is easily accessible and near many stores and other amenities if you need it. We had multiple guests saying how beautiful everything was, how professional the staff was, and asking how we ever found such an amazing place. Our whole families are from about 2 hours from the venue and we loved it so much we booked it 30 minutes after touring it. Worth the drive! Have your wedding here, it is beautiful, organized, and Miranda makes wedding planning so easy!

I love how there are 3 separate locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I barely decorated the venue because honestly I didn’t think it even needed much since it’s gorgeous on its own. I had my ceremony in the barn hall and it was perfect. The lights hanging on the ceiling are beautiful. The stables and outside area where cocktail hour was held are also incredible. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, Miranda was instantly welcoming and listened to what we had envisioned. Initially we were set on having our ceremony in the courtyard since we both wanted to have our wedding outdoors and then we saw hay barn and our ideas quickly shifted. Without hesitation we booked after our first tour. During our final walkthrough Miranda explained where everything would be and how our decorations would be set up which made everything that was in my head come together. The entire venue itself is gorgeous when it's undecorated, but on our day Miranda and Kristy from Serock Catering transformed it into something straight out of a fairy tale! The entire day went flawless with their help and if I could relive that day over and over again I would! Most importantly, Miranda is the most loving individual we have ever met and will treat your wedding as if it is her own. Nothing was impossible for her and she made planning through a pandemic a breeze with fluid updates as they became available. We cannot thank The Barn at Silverstone enough for making our dreams come true. We could not recommend a better place to have a wedding.

We had our wedding here July 2021 and I don’t even know where to begin! My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this venue during our tour and as soon as we left (and were actually on our way to another venue to tour) we called to reserve a date. Miranda was amazing to work with- she was so sweet, answered any emails with questions I had promptly, and even sent us personalized emails as COVID restrictions eased up- telling us what that mean for our wedding. I have many friends tell me horror stories about not being able to get in touch with their venue or not having questions answered and I am so happy to say that is not the case here at all. Working with Miranda is like having a second day of coordinator! The venue itself is so beautiful. Every space on the property is picture perfect and I received so many compliments from guests on how gorgeous everything was. It was important to me while touring to have an indoor ceremony space that I loved in case of bad weather. We ended up having great weather and were able to have our ceremony outdoors, but it was so nice knowing I had an entire separate space for an indoor ceremony that was just as beautiful and wouldn’t require any “flipping” of the room in one short hour!The day of the wedding, set up and tear down were completely taken care of which was so nice. My husband and I, along with our families, were able to simply enough the day after so many months of planning! Miranda and Kristy (Serock’s coordinator) placed my decor exactly how I wanted it- as well as figured out where to put things that I wasn’t quite sure where they should go. It was all so effortless and when I showed up to the venue on wedding day, I was in awe of how they nailed my vision. The entire day ran smoothly and perfectly. I could go on and on raving about this venue and truly can’t think of a single con! I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to any couples planning their wedding.

If I could give The Barn at Silverstone 10 stars, I would. Everything was amazing from start to finish, from the venue tour to wedding day. Miranda is the perfect person you want working with you for your wedding day. She always answered my emails & questions promptly and in detail. When the pandemic struck, she kept us updated on what the venue was doing to make things safer and on what the capacity was for the venue as PA started re-opening. You can tell this venue is like her baby the way she is so hands on and meticulous with everything. She worked side by side with our day of coordinator on the day of our wedding to make sure everything was in place and we had what we needed. And besides being on top of everything, Miranda is just really nice and a calming presence. The venue itself is gorgeous and even though we didn't need it, having a dedicated indoor ceremony space in case it rained gave us peace of mind. Our wedding was perfect and that is largely due to Miranda & The Barn at Silverstone crew. I can't recommend it enough & wish I could relive this day at this venue over and over again!

From the first days when we visited Silverstone in Dec 2019 through the event on May 15, 2021, the teams did a fantastic job in pulling together everything, offering suggestions, offering advice when asked, and just in general providing the sort of help and guidance one needs for this truly once in a lifetime event!Miranda provides an outline, information, and schedule that even impressed me and I am known to be very organized as an engineer at Boeing. From the online information, quick responses on emails (even late at night), as well as the AllSeated guest and seating tool made this planning a fun event.All of our guests were impressed by the layout, the facilities, the service, and just the overall beauty at the Barn at Silverstone.As an added bonus, Miranda's parents run the Inn at Silverstone and we bought the inn for the night before and after the wedding. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this... I was able to accommodate most of my family and some dear friends. Living on-site was just smashing! WOW! What can we all say? The Barn at Silverstone (along with the Inn at Silverstone) delivered in more ways than one could imagine. My daughter's wedding (as well as my new son-in-law!) was 'the best day ever'!!! May 15, 2021!!!!Miranda and her team at Silverstone along with Kristy and her team from Serock Catering and many of the vendors listed below threw us an event that will be remembered for years and years! The Barn at Silverstone is absolutely amazing! Miranda made every single one of my wedding dreams come true. The Stables and patio were absolutely fantastic for cocktail hour. The entire venue is stunning with so many different locations for pictures! The owner, Miranda, was absolutely amazing to work with. She had an answer for every question we could think of and was always super responsive. She has thought of everything from a gorgeous back up location to have your ceremony in case it rains, to taking care of packing up all of your items and making sure nothing gets left behind. No detail was forgotten. If I could do it all over again, I would 100% pick this venue!

Everything about the Barn at Silverstone is amazing. The venue itself is visually stunning. There are almost too many places to get good photographs. Luckily for me, I had two wedding days. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our December wedding to April. Fortunately for us, Miranda at the Barn graciously allowed us to still use the indoor hay barn space to perform a small ceremony on our date in December two days after a massive snow storm. I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to still get married on our special day. This venue is STUNNING in the snow! Once our April date came around, the venue was in full bloom. Beautiful in a completely different way from December. Optics aside, the staff at the Barn is exceptional. Miranda made sure everything was taken care of for us. And I mean everything. I did not have to worry about a thing and was able to fully enjoy my wedding day. We could not have asked for a better place to get married at (twice) or for a better person to take care of us. The venue itself, the layout, the barn, the staff, the everything. Our wedding day was perfect and the one thing that people mention the most is how amazing the venue was. It was a fairy tale-like atmosphere. We had zero issues. It was perfect. I will recommend this venue to everyone I know that's getting married in a heartbeat. Also, we were a COVID wedding that got pushed back from March to November, we almost got pushed back again, regulations in PA went up and down and back up again. It was a mess. The Barn at Silverstone was incredible through it all. They communicated with us regularly about what was going on and responded to our questions and concerns quickly. For a situation that many couples were stressing out about, I credit Miranda with keeping us cool, calm, and collected.

It's hard to even begin to explain just how magical and unforgettable our wedding was at The Barn at Silverstone. We originally chose the Barn at Silverstone for its most spectacular views. The restored barn is so elegant and rustic and essentially required no decor as it is so lovely in itself. The landscape is also beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the sheep! What we also loved what just how rustic and elegant the barn was. Alone it was beautiful with minimal added decor! As we grew further along in the planning process, we realized we not only had a beautiful venue to celebrate our love, but we had the chance to get to know Miranda - and man, were we so lucky to work with her! From the very beginning of our journey to the big day (while in the midst of a worldwide pandemic) Miranda made our planning process and wedding day perfect. She truly loves what she does, and devotes so much time of her own to each individual couple. Obviously wedding planning during Covid 19 was different and at times frustrating with changes each day- but Miranda was always a phone call away to help answer questions and concerns. We never felt like \"a bother\" when we needed to talk to her. She is so genuine, kind, knowledgable, and understanding. Then our wedding day came along and it was just so magical and stress free. The Barn is equipped with a bridal suite and grooms suite which made getting ready even more special. We also had options!! Whether Covid was changing its plans for us, or if we were worried about rain - the Barn offers so many options to carryout the most perfect wedding day. Thank you Miranda and her team for giving us the most perfect day. Once we got home and sorted through our cards/gifts, we stumbled up just the sweetest hand written card from Miranda. She even included a gift card to use for our first year anniversary at The Inn at Silverstone - which is absolutely beautiful btw. Miranda's thoughtfulness, easy communication, love for weddings, and attention to detail is every reason to celebrate your big day at The Barn at Silverstone. If we had to go back and change anything, we wouldn't! If it weren't for you, Miranda, our wedding truly could not have been a success and for that we are forever grateful!

We got married at The Barn at Silverstone on 9/26/2020. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The space was everything I dreamed of and more! I loved the fact that there are 3 separate spaces, each one as stunning as the next. All of our guests raved about how gorgeous the grounds were. Although it rained (lightly) off and on throughout our wedding day, we made the best of it and everyone had a blast. Miranda (the owner) is incredible - she answered all questions, offered advice, and helped us navigate moving forward with a wedding during COVID with grace. The precautions and adjustments the venue made helped us (and our guests) feel comfortable. She went above and beyond to help bring my vision to life (not one detail went unnoticed), and our wedding feels like a dream come true! We loved the venue from the moment we saw it, but Miranda sealed the deal. It’s clear that she truly loves what she does. She is the sweetest person and we were lucky to have her on our side on our biggest day! I wish we could relive our wedding day over and over.

My husband and I fell in love instantly. The Barn at Silverstone is uniquely gorgeous and a one of a kind venue! We knew we had wanted to get married in some kind of barn, but it was important me to find a barn style venue that had all the amenities necessary to have a functional event. Then we met with Miranda, and we knew right then that we needed to book our wedding there. Miranda is AMAZING at what she does and just an overall wonderful person. She is knowledgeable, honest, passionate and personable. She made the entire planning process so easy. As a former Wedding Venue Coordinator myself, I had more than just the average questions. I was asking all the ins and outs of their processes, details, etc., and she answered every single one of them with grace. A few weeks before our wedding, my husband and I drove to PA from NJ to have our final meeting with Miranda and Kristy from Serock Catering. Every detail was discussed, reviewed and planned to ensure we made all the necessary decisions and were all on the same page with everything. The day of was magnificent - including the weather :). Miranda and Kristy took care of everything. From setting up our decorations to helping coordinate the ceremony and my arrival on a traditional Amish horse and buggy. I worried about nothing that day; and coming from someone who worked in the business for 7 years, that says a lot. It was truly perfection! Six months later, guests are still raving about our wedding - the venue, food, service, experience and of course the sheep. We are so grateful for all of the staff for making our day the best day of our lives! We feel so lucky to have been able to have our wedding at such a 5 - star venue.

She is knowledgeable, honest, passionate and personable. She made the entire planning process so easy. As a former Wedding Venue Coordinator myself, I had more than just the average questions. I was asking all the ins and outs of their processes, details, etc., and she answered every single one of them with grace. A few weeks before our wedding, my husband and I drove to PA from NJ to have our final meeting with Miranda and Kristy from Serock Catering. Every detail was discussed, reviewed and planned to ensure we made all the necessary decisions and were all on the same page with everything. The day of was magnificent - including the weather :). Miranda and Kristy took care of everything. From setting up our decorations to helping coordinate the ceremony and my arrival on a traditional Amish horse and buggy. I worried about nothing that day; and coming from someone who worked in the business for 7 years, that says a lot. It was truly perfection! Six months later, guests are still raving about our wedding - the venue, food, service, experience and of course the sheep. We are so grateful for all of the staff for making our day the best day of our lives! We feel so lucky to have been able to have our wedding at such a 5 - star venue.

Being from New York there is definitely a lack of charming but updated barns in our area but when I saw the barn at Silverstone my heart fluttered! It was absolutely everything I had ever dreamed my wedding venue would look like! My fiancé and I took the trip to PA for their open house and it was absolutely gorgeous even on a not so nice day! They have a beautiful house with 7 rooms and a cottage you can rent for 2 nights for your special day, catering is already selected and put as a package and they also have an optional outside ceremony space or inside but the inside is so incredible gorgeous! The reception area is very spacious with beautiful original flooring. They have a bridal suite and a newer grooms quarters! The last thing I have to say is about Miranda being the nicest human and so knowledgeable to work with. She will drop everything to help you and answer any and all questions you have! While we are unfortunately not having our wedding here due to 200 max guest count I will recommend this beautiful place to everyone and anyone I can!

I fumble over my words whenever I try to express my love for this venue and my appreciation for Miranda. I am so beyond grateful that my husband and I found this location for our wedding. It is the most beautiful venue with a little something special at every turn. Their back up ceremony location is more beautiful than most venue’s main ceremony locations. Oh gosh those twinkly lights!! The entire inch of that property has something unique to contribute to your day. Our guests shared how amazed they were with the venue the entire evening and we are still hearing from guests weeks later. The day was perfect. I know that I would not have felt as secure going into my wedding day without Miranda. Although she requires you to hire a separate wedding coordinator, she never hesitates to help or lend advice. She was definitely there for us during the entire planning experience. She is extremely responsive and seems genuinely interested in each of her clients. She has the best vendors on her side too. On top of that, Miranda was absolutely amazing to work with! We trusted her judgment on everything and had a perfect day! My husband and I are so grateful for her and how hard she works to care for the barn and all her clients. It did not take very long into the tour to know this was going to be our venue. It was the perfect blend of us both, with the rustic and historic feel while also being completely updated and modern. The grounds were beautiful, and the more we saw we were continually blown away. Along with all of that, Miranda was so friendly and welcoming to us. She was honest when answering any questions or giving recommendations, which made us feel that much more confident this was the right venue. The entire process was so smooth, and she was always so pleasant whether it was meeting in person or talking over email. She was so organized and made sure we had everything in place, and anytime we needed clarification or wanted an opinion, she was there to steer us in the right direction. When it came to the wedding weekend she was such a huge piece to making our day perfect. She was there from set up to the end, making sure everything was going smooth and was exactly as we wanted. We even decided last minute that we wanted lights in the barn, and she volunteered to put them all up for us herself. She was such a calming presence by always being there for us, and her being so actively involved in the day helped relieve so much stress. The barn looked absolutely perfect and more beautiful than we could have ever hoped. So many guests told us how they had never seen any venue like this and they were blown away by everything from the grounds, to the cocktail barn and reception hall. Absolutely the best Wedding Venue. A gorgeous farm house turned Bed and Breakfast. An adorable cottage for a honeymoon night. A ridiculously gorgeous barn with high ceilings, chandeliers, exposed beams, stoned walls, beautifully stained wooden floors with a wall of windows looking out onto a pond with fountain and baby sheep. You can’t beat the elegance for a most beautiful wedding ceremony and or reception. Down below is an awesome area with black painted poles wrapped in lights that provides a very cool cocktail hour. Glass top serving area with lighting. Then open those glass doors to a beautiful patio with fireplace, fire pit and a pond and fountain. If needing a slightly more intimate ceremony walk to the Hayloft, where you’ll find a wonderful ceiling lit cozy place to say I Do! Not too mention a beautiful bridal lounge and a groom’s Den. All located on a beautiful, quiet property just perfect for outdoor photos! Best of all, it comes with Miranda and her husband. They are there the entire time making sure your wedding goes perfectly. I just had my wedding here two weeks ago, AMAZING venue! Absolutely stunning! Miranda is fantastic! She will help you along the way with absolutely anything and everything. I would not have changed a thing! Just a heads up to anyone looking at this venue- you honestly do NOT need alllllll the decorations everywhere.. the venue is gorgeous on its own. We fell in love with the gorgeous space at the Barn at Silverstone as soon as we set foot on the property. Everything is perfect and well cared for. It rained the entire day of our wedding and I didn't even have to bat an eye because there is so much gorgeous indoor space. I will never forget the happy and warm environment that the Barn created for our wedding. More importantly, the owner, Miranda, is a true gem. Incredibly professional, organized, attentive and easy to work with. There were many times I sent e-mails and received helpful responses within five minutes. We used pretty much every single vendor recommendation that she gave and we were beyond impressed with each and every one of them. It was truly the best day and an incredibly easy process because of Miranda. I can't recommend this place enough!

Every inch of the property is incredible; the patio, the downstairs barn, the bridal suite, grooms lounge, and of course the rustic elegance of the Barn Hall, which is stunning just on its own. We loved every second of our day at the Barn at Silverstone, and so did our guests! They are all still raving about how beautiful everything was and how much they loved it! Miranda and her husband have created a dream venue. Miranda is also incredible to work with every step of the process. It is clear she cares about you and gives your wedding the attention it deserves. She was such a huge help, always quick to answer any questions, and contributed to setting up and worked with our vendors to made sure the day ran perfectly smooth. I wish we could relive the day over and over again. Hopefully someone we know will get married here, so we can be guests as well! Lancaster will forever have a warm place in our hearts due to the Barn at Silverstone. We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

We knew the moment we drove up and met Miranda that The Barn at Silverstone was the PERFECT venue for us. It was rustic and gorgeous, and was an amazing back drop for our ceremony and all of our photos - you didn't feel like you needed to over-decorate because it was beautiful on its own. Everything about the venue is stunning, the outdoor ceremony locations, stables for cocktail hour and barn are beautifully designed/restored and gave that rustic elegance we were looking for, and it was so nice to have the entire property to use for our day. What really ended up selling us on the venue was that their back up location for the ceremony in case the weather didn't cooperate (the Hay Barn) was perfection. The forecast for the weekend of our wedding was scattered showers, and knowing that our back up space for the ceremony was equally as beautiful as the outdoor area, made us so much more at ease - which is obviously what you want for the happiest day of your life! Another thing that put our minds at ease was knowing that Miranda was there to work with our day of coordinator and keep everything moving and organized, I can not say enough positive things about her! Throughout the entire planning process, she was ALWAYS available to answer any questions, give advice on preferred vendors and tips on everything from unique decoration ideas to timelines and tipping. On the day of the wedding, she worked hand-in-hand with our day of coordinator to make our vision come to life - and I can honestly say that our day was perfect. There was not a single thing that we would have changed. We are so grateful that we found our dream venue and that we were able to work with Miranda. I would recommend The Barn at Silverstone to anyone looking for a wedding with rustic elegance - you will be in the best hands and have the most amazing experience, making your best day even better!

It’s so hard to put into words how amazing this venue and its owner are!!My wife and I recently got married at the Barn at Silverstone. We chose this venue for so many reasons, however two stood out which I need to share.The first is reason is from a visual perspective. The venue is extremely beautiful with polished and elegant touches not only inside the masterfully restored barn, but outside around the grounds as well. Everything is tastefully and carefully looked after at this venue.There are so many different areas, the grooms lounge, the barn, bridal suite, stone cottage inn, and the pond/lake that add so much to a wedding. My favorite part of the entire grounds however, is the space downstairs for cocktail hour. It’s so meticulously cared for and restored, that it’s something that our family and guests are still talking about 4 weeks later!!!The second reason we chose this venue was because of the owner Miranda. She was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. She is one of the most professional, knowlegable, and caring people my wife and I came to know throughout planning our wedding.From our initial visit to our last goodbye each and every interaction was more than just a conversation. Miranda truly cares about everyone who gets married at her venue and does not treat people like just “another customer.”Miranda has such an intimate knowledge of the greater Lancaster areas top vendors from multiple price points. She was extremely helpful in giving honest and direct answers to questions when we had them. We were from the NYC area and had no insight on what vendors to contract. However, once she knew we needed some guidance, she recommended the best people who further assisted in creating a evening for the ages. We found it extremely helpful and truly amazing that Miranda also uses the latest technology, to assist in regards setting up the space and I truly believe, the flow of our wedding wouldn’t of been so smooth if it weren’t for her.Never once did myself or my now wife have any difficulty getting in contact with her. She always answered us promptly.Overall, I truly believe our wedding would of not been such an amazing success if it weren’t for Miranda, her team, and of course the outstanding and beautiful Barn at Silverstone.

Miranda Wagner (Owner) On October 10th, 2015 Nick & Miranda hosted their fairy-tale wedding at the very venue they worked so hard to help create. The Barn at Silverstone.You will be working along side Miranda throughout the planning process. Her bubbly personality and meticulous attention to detail will ensure your wedding is nothing short of perfection. Both Miranda and her husband Nick obtained a Hospitality Management Degree from Inidiana University of Pennsylvania and run The Barn at Silverstone with emphasis on high standards and gracious hospitality professionalism.
