The Event Space at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center is a beautifully-appointed facility that features several event spaces. The main event space is large enough to accommodate wedding celebrations with up to 250 guests. The space can be divided into two separate rooms, which allow for multiple layout options. You can conveniently host all the festivities of your special day in one place. Let your love take center stage as you exchange vows with a romantic ceremony on the patio. Following the ceremony, guests can mix and mingle during cocktail hour on the beautiful landscaped patio before migrating to the main event space for your grand reception.

Courtney Urbanek(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-11-2022 This reception venue was great for the price. It's a blank slate, so be prepared to do more work looking for linens and lots of decorations. The people I worked with were super friendly, but they don't work every business day so you won't always get a response quickly. The person you work with isn't there on the day, so be prepared to communicate what you need and possibly to a couple different people - we had a little issue with lighting. Reviewed on 21-12-2022
Mackenzie Daniels(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-06-2021 Reception Venue: The Event Space @Johnson County Arts and Heritage CenterThis event space holds a max of 330. We had the outdoor patio, the main event space, the hallway, the kitchen, and a studio room. We used the outdoor patio for the cocktail hour and games. We had 30 guest tables in the main room, 24 ft of head table, 2 bars, dj setup, dance floor, dessert table, gift table, and charcuterie/late night snack table. The hallway and the kitchen were used for catering and setting up the buffet. We had the studio room for the wedding party to put their stuff and hide before the grand entrance. We had a wonderful experience working with their staff. I loved how it all turned out. Reviewed on 30-06-2021
Karla Perez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-05-2021 This venue was the perfect space for my wedding!! Our ceremony took place outside on the patio and once finished, guests were able to turn around and go right into the event space. The space is HUGE and can fit up to 300 guests. It comes with a kitchen that our caterer used. Communicating with the venue was very easy. You give them a layout of how you want everything set up and they take care of setting up tables and putting away tables at the end of the night. Highly recommend!! Reviewed on 16-05-2021
Annie Hannon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2019 Our wedding was on Oct. 12th at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center. It's nothing what I imagine getting married in but it was perfect. You get it for 12 hours, holds up to 300 people, has wifi, indoor sound system, a gated patio, and it's own variety of tables and chairs. Also the price was amazing! They were so easy to work with. Immediate responses, answered all my questions, and it's a working museum so you can stop by any time during their working hours to look at it again. They set up and tear down all the chairs and tables for you. It really a blank slate you can do anything with. I definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you're on a budget. Ann-Marie Thompson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 My husband and I loved having our wedding here! Our ceremony and reception was in the event space, and the staff here made it so easy to make our day exactly the way we wanted without ever once making us feel pressured to do things a certain way. It also helps that this building is open to the community during the evenings throughout the week; you won't have to worry about setting up a bunch of meeting times during work hours to go over things since you can stop by as long as you aren't in the way. Besides being affordable without additional costs for weekend weddings, this had PLENTY of space for the 200+ guests, head table, bars, buffet, DJ, gift table, cake table, and dance floor without the need to put anything outside! It did rain all night and forced our ceremony indoors, but the patio would be perfect for an outdoor wedding. While this space does not have a dressing room, we were able to reserve their conference room as a place for people to store items and chill before the ceremony. In all, my husband and I couldn't have been happier with our experience here, and everything about the JoCo Arts & Heritage Center right from the beginning made it such an easy pick. Devin Rumley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-10-2017 We had both our ceremony and reception at the new Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center and we had an incredible, fairy-tale experience! The customer service was impeccable, the space was a blank canvas so we were able to create our vision 100%, and the catering kitchen was an absolute dream! One of the best parts, they have no limitations on vendors, so you can use who you want within your personal budget! We highly recommend this space! Reviewed on 07-12-2017
