Allison Connor(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-06-2018 The Cadre Building is absolutely stunning. Minimal decorations are needed because the building itself is so pretty. Beyond that, the women who work there are AMAZING. Betsy was so helpful in getting my catering set up. Kelsey McMillon went above and beyond what I could have asked for. She was on top of everything and did everything in terms of coordinating my vendors. The day of the wedding, Kelsey was there to help with literally everything. The wedding wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her. Reviewed on 02-07-2018

Erica Jordan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-06-2017 Professional Event Venue With Professional Staff: I am currently working with the Cadre group to plan my wedding at Court Square Park (not owned by the Cadre, owned by the city) and reception at the Cadre's Bon Ton Cafe. My wedding is not until this summer, but I could not resist writing a review for it now. I will write a second review after our wedding. When I was first calling around to venues, I was pleasantly surprised to find that someone is regularly in the office at the Cadre during normal business hours on normal business days. This is a bit rare for venues in Memphis. Most of my earliest interactions were with Betsy McKay in sales. Betsy went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, always within a reasonable time frame. I currently live in Texas. Since we are planning from long distance, I had a lot of questions. Betsy's enthusiasm, patience, and responsiveness to my questions in our phone meeting and via email made me comfortable enough to book the Bon Ton Cafe for my reception, sight unseen because I could not travel to Memphis, this past spring. Betsy connected me with the in-house event coordinator, Kelsey McMillon. If you choose to go with in-house coordination for your event, Kelsey has three packages to choose from that are all great value. We initially booked her for the middle-priced package but have been so happy with her that we just upgraded to the most involved package that includes week-of-wedding support. When we had trouble locating specific vendors, she stepped right in to help. We initially booked her for day-of coordination and rehearsal, and, since that time, she has emailed every couple of months or so just to check in to see if we had any questions or needed assistance. We met her for the first time a few days ago, when we finally got to see the amazing venue for the first time. She was organized, focused, and had great ideas during the meeting. The space is unique and AMAZING! I love the authentic vintage, Memphis, soul vibe. I cannot WAIT to celebrate there! Reviewed on 28-12-2016

So many of my guests have gone on and on with compliments about it being the best wedding they have ever been too!!! IT is all because of the CADRE and what a wonderful facility it is!! Just such a blessing to have it all in one place I had my ceremony and reception and so transportation was so easy!! The switch took no time and people were able to enjoy every part of the building!! Monica Porter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-12-2013 Most of my family was very upset when they discovered I didn't want to have my wedding at our church. After the weeding everyone of them told me that I had made the right decision in booking The Cadre and that they were glad I didn't listen to them. The Cadre is such a beautiful building. It's beauty truly stands out on its own. Reviewed on 09-01-2014

The people that work for the Cadre are absolutely fantastic. VERY helpful, very attentive, very outgoing, and just very good at their job. Not to mention the building is breath-taking but the service made it all worth it!! I could not have asked for a better venue or better service. I would highly recommend this building for ANY occasion. Reviewed on 22-06-2012

Meridith Rucker(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2011 I am so glad I decided to go with The Cadre for my wedding and reception venue. It is a beautiful space, and does not need a ton of decorating, because the architecture and details speak for themselves. Both my wedding and reception were great. The Cadre staff was polite and helpful, and Holly was wonderful. She really cared about working hard to ensure that things went smoothly on my special day. I love that you can being n your own caterer, and even your own liquor (and that's rare with great venues). Many of my guests commented on how friendly the staff was, even the bartenders. The prices have gone up since I booked our wedding in April of 2010, but if you want to marry in beautiful and trendy downtown Memphis, it's one of the best places to say \"I do\". Mary Margaret Lynn(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2010 My wedding took place in the beautiful halls of the Cadre, an old downtown building lined with cream and gold columns and glowing skylights. I loved the atmosphere, a classy, palace-like feel, with room for 200-300 people comfortably. The servers were exceptional, always helpful and friendly. A security guard is even included in your wedding package. \rThe only reasons I would give the Cadre four stars instead of five is 1) We paid $200 to hire their wedding coordinator... but I ended up doing all the work, even as the bride. ( I didn't mind this, but he had no clue what was going on.) A very friendly man, but messed up a few things... However I know now that they've just hired a new lady to coordinate and I'm sure she'll be on top of things.\r2) The price isn't ridiculous, but it was more than I wanted to pay. $3500 for a Sunday wedding. There are all sorts of additions you can pay for too. Certain lighting, wall hangings, outdoor decor, etc. Reviewed on 09-08-2010
